Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
And greetings to you, music lovers, thrill seekers, conversationalists all across the bountiful fruited playing Rush Limbaugh, the EIB network, and the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Happy to be along with you today.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program with us 800-282-2882.
And the email address, El Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
So I'm doing show prep last night, and I'm I'm seeing a bunch of stuff that we mentioned yesterday.
And I think, here we go.
Classic examples, cutting-edge societal evolution.
For example, I didn't get to the audio yesterday of these uh of, but I talked about it.
The Axelrod and what he said about Marco Rubio.
And that video played all night last night.
I was shooting myself for not getting to the audio of it yesterday.
But we did talk about it.
This was Axel Ride was on Slay the Nation with Bob Schiefer.
And Axel Rudd said, I think it'd be an insult to the Hispanic community to choose Senator Rubio.
If he thinks that that's somehow, if Governor Romney thinks that's sort of a get out of jail free card for all the things and positions that he's taken.
And the the point that I made about this, I'm going to make it again, is that the Republicans can't win for losing.
The Democrats tell them they must reach out to the black community.
Much reached out to the Hispanic community.
And so then they float a rumor that Romeo might be on the VP, and then they come, you can't do that.
Why, all that horrible stuff you've said about immigration and the Hispanics and the stuff that we know you mean, you hate minorities.
That's just you want to get out of jail free card for all those horrible rotten.
So they say it's just a surface maneuver, not genuine.
But what it really indicates is how those people think.
It doesn't indicate how Romney's thinking.
It indicates how Axelrod and the Democrats think.
You know, my question is in all where is Obama?
Is Axelrod the candidate or is Obama the candidate?
All Obama's doing are running around doing fundraisers.
Last night it was Barack Obama on Broadway.
Did you see that?
He took over some Broadway theater for a fundraiser.
Uh and you've got Axelrod out acting as the candidate.
He was in Boston at that press conference where he got heckled.
Now he's going on TV, and he's saying the things that Obama ought to be saying.
But Obama's not saying he's too busy out raising raising money.
Uh, but this is this is I think it's a sign of the panic these people are in.
And I'll tell you something else.
And this dovetails with a constant, consistent theme on this program.
We all, I mean, us Republicans, conservatives, I don't, but I mean a lot of other people think the left is invincible.
That the Democrats are invincible, that they're light years ahead of us strategically competence-wise when it comes to running campaigns.
And I don't, I don't think that at all.
I I think these people are in an abject state of panic.
I don't think they have the slightest idea what to do.
Look what they had in 2000.
For example, 2008.
That campaign was really, I think Daffy Duck could have beaten McCain for one reason.
McCain didn't even really want to win.
He just wanted the resume enhancement of having candidate on the resume.
He wasn't really trying to win.
You don't suspend your campaign if you're really trying to win.
Middle of an economic crisis.
You don't campaign the way he did if you really want to win.
You don't, you don't tell everybody on your team, no, we're not going to criticize Obama.
We're not going to criticize Jeremiah Wright.
If you really want to win, you don't do that.
So Obama's coming off eight years of Bush having been beaten up and not defending himself, and nobody in the Bush regime had defended itself.
They hated the Iraq war.
They convinced everybody it was a recession.
Unemployment was trending down.
And Obama is running around even now lamenting.
Gosh, I wish it's another thing we had yesterday we got sound by today.
Obama wishing he had McCain instead of Romney.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, um, John, he believed in global warming, and and and John believed in in all these things that I believe in there was an overlap.
But Obama has had the road paved for him.
Normally, what's happened for Obama is that his associates find dirt on his opponent and get him out of the race.
Like the poor Jack Ryan guy in Illinois was running for a Senate against Obama, and somebody leaked some private divorce documents involving sex scandals, and that was the end of Ryan.
I sent in Alan Keyes.
So Obama basically unopposed.
The only time Obama really lost an election was to Bobby Rush when he was opposed by a legitimate candidate.
The 2008 they had a cakewalk, I think, when you get right down to it.
And they don't have a cakewalk this time, is my point.
And I don't think these people are the best and brightest campaigners.
I don't think they know what they're doing.
I think they're flailing away.
The fact that they can't come up with anything other than what they did in 2008, and I say all this to keep everybody uh fired up, intense and confident because there's every reason in the world to be.
Everybody falls prey to this notion that they outstrategize us and that they're smarter and that they're dirtier and they're cheat more and all that's all that may be some of that may be true, but they're not better.
They're not smarter.
They may be uh a little less fearful of what people think of them.
They don't care, for example, what's going to be said about them vis-a-vis minorities or being racists or whatever.
They don't have a strait jacket that they live in like the Republicans do.
But in terms of downright just base competence and strategy.
Uh I mean, the you know, the biggest problem Obama has in this re-election is that Romney hasn't been divorced.
And so there aren't any hidden divorce papers.
There's no hidden prenup.
There's no dirt there to be found on Romney.
I mean, that's why the Washington Post went out, tried to create some dirt 50 years ago.
That's it.
That Romney bullied some long-haired maggot infested dope smoking type kid back in prep school.
And that was it.
That's a typical Obama campaign.
It blew up on him.
It didn't work.
So we get Rubio as a as a as a rumored V, and here goes axe.
Well, you know what, these guys, that's he just wants to get out of jail card.
He just wants to make it make people look like he cares about Hispanics, but everybody knows that Romney and Republicans hate Hispanics and blah, blah, blah.
And then we had Shrum yesterday.
I have where is uh I'm just all over here it is.
Grab sound bites 31.
Nothing that I've told Mike is working out the way it's working out here.
I've few people saw how we do this sound bites.
You would you would never believe we get one of them on the air on a daily basis.
But here's here's the second story that we had talked about this yesterday.
Bob Schrum, who's never won, advising a Democrat candidate for president.
He's an oph.
His most recent offer with John Kerry, who by the way served in Vietnam, Bob Schrum, who I think, if you know let me stir it up a little bit.
If Bob Schrum could be anybody he's not, it'd be Roger Ailes.
Shrum has always dreamed of himself as the Roger Ailes of the Democrat Party.
But he's not.
Just don't doubt me on it.
At any rate, Bob Schrum, where was he?
He was on Face the Nation.
You know, Bob Schiefer was head spinning Sunday.
Because kept asking Axel Rod about the negative campaign.
Why are you guys going so negative?
Because you know, Schiefer, he drank the Kool-Aid.
He thinks we're dealing still with a Messiah.
And he thinks all this uh hope and change stuff is still the order of the day.
And so the Obama campaign's going typical Obama negative dirt, and then Schaeffer's head spin, can't believe it, and he asked Axarod, why are you going so negative?
So he had trouble with that.
Then Schrum came along, and Schrum actually admitted if this election's about Obama's record, we're toast.
If the referendum about Obama, he's toast.
And we had it yesterday.
Uh, it made news all over the place last night.
Here it is.
Here are the sound rights.
You got two of them.
This some Sunday's face the nation.
You just let this be a referendum.
I don't think the president could win.
Because the truth of the matter is he may have created over 4.3 million jobs.
He may have saved General Motors, but the country's still not back to where it needs to be.
So this needs to be a choice election.
A choice.
So you know, as I as I listen to these sh people who are considered heavyweights, the Democrat Party hierarchy, Shrum clearly would be one in Clinton.
I don't hear a lot of love for Obama.
And they're saying things that you wouldn't say if you really wanted the guy to win.
You'd avoid the negatives.
You don't highlight the negatives.
You don't put them under the spotlight.
I mean, if if you're going to talk about statements about how to win or lose, it's for us to say we want to run against Obama, his record.
If he can't run anything, that's what we say.
For the Democrats, a high-ranking Democrat to come out and say that.
Sabotage.
And Dick Morris.
Dick Morris says Clinton is telling people privately he wants Obama to lose.
Dick Morris said on television that he knows some conservatives who know Clinton.
That might be Chris Ruddy.
I don't know.
It's unnamed.
But apparently Clinton is telling conservatives.
No, wait a minute.
Clinton is telling conservatives that you got six months to save a country.
That's what Dick Morris says.
Clinton said, You got six months.
You got six months to save a country.
I'm not for this guy.
But I can't I can't say it publicly.
Now, after Morris went on television and said that, then Clinton later goes out and endorses Obama.
But the things he's doing are not helping Obama, such as the endorsement of Romney.
So Schrum is out there saying, if it's a referendum on Obama, he can't win.
You don't say that about your own team.
Here's the next shrum bite.
Bob Schaefer.
I think there are a lot of Republicans that are out there saying, did you hear that Bob Srum just said that if this is a referendum on Barack Obama, he would lose.
Well, I think that look, I'm being honest.
If this is simply a referendum on the condition of the economy and the country, people aren't happy yet.
Oh, well, I thought that was Bush's fault, though.
Isn't the isn't the Obama strategy to blame Bush for that?
Here, Schrum is saying it's gonna everybody can blame Obama.
Now he may think that, but you don't say it if you're on the Obama team.
You blame Bush.
Even if you're hard of hearts, you know these people are not dumb.
I mean, they're they're they're in politics.
They know full well how to lose and how to win.
Well, some of them don't know how to win, but they think they do.
But the one thing that you don't do is you don't undercut your candidates' theme.
And a theme is Obama inherited a worse mess than anybody knew.
And it's gonna take longer than anybody knew to get us out of it.
And the mess was given to us by Bush.
And here's Schramm out there saying, Well, look, I'm just being honest.
If it's a referendum on the condition of the economy, he is admitting it's Obama's, not Bush's.
This is big stuff.
And I can tell you it's double big stuff because Schrum's at the Schieferskey.
You know what you just said here on a state-controlled show.
Of course, we got Wisconsin that's uh that's going on today.
This is a showdown.
What's happening in Wisconsin, the recall.
Well, these poor people, Wisconsin, I have to tell you.
Seems like they have an election every two weeks of the past six months.
I watched something fascinating last night.
You know, my brother has got a book out.
Uh, and uh where I had that reason, number 25.
Get grabs now by 25.
The name of the book is The Great Destroyer.
And it is a compendium of virtually everything Obama has done and said that give it away who he is and what's ahead and in store for us if he gets re-elected.
And David was to appear on Hannity last night, which he did, but Hannity led off with a focus group from somewhere in Wisconsin with Frank Lunz.
And I watched that my mouth wide open.
I couldn't.
Did you people see that?
Any of you see this?
Ho-ho.
Ho.
I if this is the best Lunch could do, I'm just gonna tell.
No, I'm uh I'll just not say this.
You're supposed to get like a focus group as a cross section of the state that rep is representative of a whole bunch of demographic and ideological type breakdowns.
But I swear, 80% of these people were union people, and and they didn't care what fact was thrown at them.
It didn't matter.
Walker's got to go.
He could be Jesus Christ.
They could be devout Catholics, he's gotta go.
It was the most incredible.
I I have found it difficult to believe that this was actually a cross section of the population of Wisconsin.
These people were as brain dead, they were programmed partisans, no matter what they were hit with.
The answer was, well, Walker doesn't care about us, and he just did that to make it look good, but it really isn't any better.
Our taxes really haven't come down.
They're just saying that.
And the unemployment rate hasn't really come down.
They're just saying that.
And there are people losing their jobs.
That's a lie.
Walker is fire.
And none of it's true, but they it was the most you talk about a partisan divide.
It illustrated why there's no compromise with this, folks.
There's just defeat.
There wasn't a person in that focus group who was opposed to Scott Walker who could have been reached with the truth.
If Moses personally had delivered the Ten Commandments last night, they would not have believed it.
They would have thought it was a Scott Walker trick.
And they've been programmed to think this by their unions and so forth.
It was classic.
There's no compromise with these people.
There is no middle ground.
There's no great independent, no way to reach across the aisle.
These people are the ones I saw were combination of hatred, obstinence, stubbornness, ignorance, and uh total resistance to anything factual.
Anyway, let me take a break here.
As you can hear, lots of stuff.
I want to play David's sound, but David, because this is this is quite telling.
My brother.
Talk about his book, actually said, because he wrote the book, he wrote it in five and a half months.
Then he write a book and you go on TV to talk about it.
It's tough to remember everything, and even in your own book when you wrote it.
So he went back and reviewed his own book and outlined it, get ready for something.
He had forgotten how bad it was, even though he wrote it.
Here's how he described that.
Hannity said, I almost called a book encyclopedic because it's chapter and verse on Obama's presidency.
I found there was so much I forgot about Obama.
Do you think people forget?
No question.
We've almost become numb to it because there's such an overwhelming amount of evidence, the things that he's done.
This is almost humorous.
When I finished writing the book, I had probably 12,000 articles in 57 folders.
I'm not exaggerating.
It was overwhelming.
Wrote the book in five and a half months, went through the editing process.
Then I started reading it and preparing for these interviews, and I was overwhelmed reading it again.
There is so much that he's done.
He's overwhelmed.
He wrote the book.
He couldn't believe what was in it.
I mean, all that was in it.
Couldn't believe how much stuff that was.
It's impossible to remember it all.
I probably come as close to anybody doing that as anybody else out there.
Half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Great to have you with us.
L. Rushball, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
You know, my brother is my brother, and you would expect me to be uh upbeat and positive about the book, but I'm gonna tell you something.
What he said is true.
He gives in this book, again, that the title of the book is The Great Destroyer, Barack Obama's War on the Republic.
But if you just search the Great Destroyer on Amazon or Barnes and Noble, wherever you'll it'll it'll turn up.
He gives 150 reasons why Obama needs to go, which is amazing because off the top of my head, I can only come up with 140.
And that's the beauty of the book.
If you ever run into people like the ones I saw on that Hannity show last night, the Frank Luntz Focus Group, I bet you I know how frustrating it is.
I run into them now and then too.
But I bet you run into them constantly.
It's like talking to brick walls.
But if you want at your fingertips from start to present, Everything that Obama has done, said, or proposed that we oppose, that frighten us, that let everybody who doesn't know what's going on know where this country's headed.
This book one place.
Hannity called it encyclopedic.
That's good.
It's a compendium as well.
It's footnoted out the wazoo.
All the sources are there for this thing.
It really is, it's like a handbook, except it's full-fledged hardcover size.
It's like a handbook of the uh of everything that you would need at your disposal.
And it's like even after you read it, there's so much you're going to forget all of it.
You'll have to have the book nearby for reference purposes.
That's how chocked full it is.
Okay, even Bill Clinton coming out against Obama and Politico coming out against Bill Clinton.
So I got some people flooding my email, a rush limbaugh website, the Rush 247 email saying I'm I'm doing the audience a disservice and I am making too big a deal out of Bob Schrum.
Let me tell you something.
Shrum said two things that are no no's for Democrats.
He said, Let's face reality.
They never never say let's face reality and mean it.
Their reality equals ruin.
And the next thing Shrum said was, look, I'm being honest.
Bo those are huge no no's for Democrats.
They don't say that.
If they're ever honest about things that they intend to do or have done, they don't win anything.
That's the point.
So it's it's it does uh as we sit here right now, I'm I'm telling you, they are in a state of panic at the Obama campaign.
Now, I always have a caveat when I say this, anything can change because it can.
Um but i uh right now they don't know where they are.
They have uh no sense of it.
They weren't prepared to be where they are.
They're not prepared to deal with a situation that does not feature or feature idolatry, devotion, and and and love.
They they can't get beyond that.
They can't run on issues, they can't run on the record, they can't run uh on on any of the current reality, and they don't know how else to do it.
And if they don't have something larger than life to uh promote and sell, and they don't have, you know, Romney has not been divorced, there's no dirt there, they are in trouble.
I want to play a couple sound bites for you here.
They uh had this yesterday too, did not get to this.
I regret this.
They were late in the soundbite roster.
But let me made a comment a moment ago that uh if you knew how this works, you would not believe we'd ever get to any of these sound bites.
I get the roster every day about oh, 30 minutes, 50 before the program, and like today there's there's 35 sound bites, but they're just there.
They're not in any particular order other than if there's three shrums or three shrums right in a row.
But since the program isn't choreographed, and since it's not scripted, I have no idea where I'm gonna get to what when.
And all of this is done on the fly, and I'm I'm just flashing through these.
I don't organize anything.
Even very rarely.
I mean, I'll I'll in a break, I'll say, okay, I'm gonna do this next, but that's even subject to change, depending on brain flow.
So that's all I meant by it.
But these two bites I wanted to get to yesterday that we had, they too are quite indicative.
Obama's running two ads of a sweepstakes nature.
One ad is by Anna Winter, who is the fashion editor at Vogue magazine.
Not widely written.
That's a magazine for a small group of people.
And then another ad by Sarah Jessica Parker, who it's been ten years since Sarah Jessica Parker did anything.
And both of these ads have to do with the fact that you could win two seats at dinner with Obama at Anna Winters' house in New York.
If you go to the website and make a donation.
Now, here's a man of the people.
Here's a man that's talking every day to the underemployed, unemployed, claiming that that's who he cares about, trying to do everything he can to get them back up to speed and so forth.
No greater illustration of who Obama's lost, how out of touch he is, and how they view him within the Obama campaign.
Let's get to the Anna Winter ad first.
It's Friday, it's a website ad at Barack Obama.com.
Hi, I'm Anna Winter, and I'm so lucky in my work that I'm able to meet some of the most incredible women in the world.
Women like Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Obama.
Wow.
These two wonderful women and I are hosting a dinner along with the president in New York City to benefit the Obama campaign on June the 14th.
It'll be a fantastic evening, and you can join us.
We're saving the two best seats for you that you have to enter to win.
You can enter right now by going to Barack Obama.com slash New York night.
Sarah Jessica and I both have our own reasons for supporting President Obama.
And we want to hear yours.
So please join us.
Right.
But just don't be late.
Two of you.
Two of you.
Who Anna Winter wouldn't give the time a day to if she saw you on the street.
In fact, you'd get fired if you looked at her.
She'd send a cops after you if you looked at her.
She's not on the street.
She leaves the building, gets in the car, goes where she's going.
She's not on it.
Anna Went this is such a divorce from reality.
So having this big dinner party for you, two people.
You go to this website, you register, you make a donation, you could get chosen to have dinner so that Obama and Michelle and Anna Winter and Sarah Jessica Parker can find out what you think.
All right.
That's a good okay.
Okay.
Okay, all right, all right.
I'm glad you did this.
The staff on the other side of the glass are telling me they don't know who Anna Winter is.
And I they know who Anna Winter is.
You tell them you don't know who she is.
Well, that picture, I mean, she looks like the Beatles out of the 60s, right?
Helmet Head, that little Bobby that that.
You really don't know who she is.
Well, now I'm a little embarrassed that I do then.
She's um she's the editor of Vogue magazine.
Well, that's what I said.
Very few, it's a magazine for elites.
Very it's a fashion magazine.
Very few people actually read it.
It's one of these things, the right people read it.
But I guarantee you, whoever's gonna end up having dinner at her house, this whole thing is a fraud.
Anna Winter doesn't want to meet these people.
She's not interested in what they have to think, neither is Obama or Michelle or Sarah Jessica.
But you know who Sarah Jessica Parker is.
Okay, you know who she is.
Here's here's her ad.
Okay.
The guy who ended the war in Iraq, the guy who says you should be able to marry anyone you want, and the guy who created four million new jobs, that guy, President Obama and Michelle are coming to my house for dinner on June 14th.
And I want you to be there too.
But you have to go to join Obama.com for your chance to win, and the contest ends tomorrow night.
So go right here, right now, because we need him, and he needs us.
I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this message.
I got it.
I thought dinner was at Anna Winters' house, but I forget she would no more do this at her house.
She wouldn't let some member of the public even know where she lives.
Uh so that the dinner is at Sarah Jessica Parker's.
The guy, and by the way, the guy who created four million new jobs.
Hey, Sarah.
She hates me, by the way.
She has made movies.
Well, you know, not made movies.
She has insisted on scripts in movies where I get ripped to shreds.
She doesn't like, which is fine.
It's a badge on her.
But Obama has created four million new jobs.
We're down two million jobs since he was immaculated.
Anyway, the point, the point here is that these are web things and these are these are fundraising techniques.
And this is not, man, this is celebrity of the United States kind of stuff.
This is not president of the United States kind of stuff.
It's not broad, it's not, it's not trying to relate to the average order.
Everybody's now laughing at this and mocking it and making fun of it and poking holes at it, uh, just like just like we are here.
It's an indication, once again, how out of touch they really are.
How distanced they have become from the people who make this country work.
Uh it's an indication of what they think the strong drawing power of the presidency is.
He's becoming Barack Kardashian.
I tell you, that's what's becoming.
He is becoming the male Kim Kardashian with this stuff, and it's been building.
He is celebrity of the United States.
He is not the president.
And he's actively, and his whole team's out there pushing this.
So it's Barack Hussein Kardashian is what he has become.
Anna Winter, did you?
What was the name?
The devil wears, is it Prada or that's Anna Winter.
The Merrill Streve characters modeled after Anna Winter.
She's very her rep is she's very mean to her employees.
You're not really allowed to look at her in the hallway.
If you're an underling, that's the story.
You're not allowed to look at her.
You get fired if you make eye contact with her.
Well, well, we heard similar things about Hillary and the Secret Service and military people.
So I bet this telling you that what once again, this is not mass appeal stuff.
This this is this is not pop culture.
This is pure pop culture and where they think their strength lies.
In sure banal idiocy.
Take a break here, folks.
Much more straight ahead, as you know, when we come back.
I said that Bill Clinton's come out against Obama, not technically.
Speaking rapidly going into a break.
He has said things that are highly supportive of Romney.
And Dick Morris says, you'll hear the bite soon, that Clinton is telling conservatives in private that uh got six months to save a country.
You've got to get rid of this guy.
And then Clinton has endorsed Obama now after all this, um, after all this came out.
But then the politico today, Roger Simon has a piece.
Bill Clinton is out of control.
It is a hit piece on Bill Clinton for how he is sabotaging Obama.
It's a long pit piece, too.
I'm not going to give you excerpts of it.
The politico, state control, stenographers for Obama in many cases.
Bill Clinton is out of control.
Here's how that starts, by the way.
Bill Clinton has to be the smartest guy in the room, even when he's not in the room.
Clinton's not on Obama's campaign staff.
He's not a trusted advisor.
He doesn't set strategy, but he's pretty good at sabotaging Obama's strategy.
That's the political.
That's how it begins.
And it only heats up at that point.
Now, Anna Winter, again, I said you get fired for looking at her.
A former assistant to Anna Winter at Vogue has been quoted as saying, you definitely didn't ride the elevator with her on written rules imposed by Winter at the Vogue offices, forbid junior staffers from initiating conversation with her.
An editor who greeted her on the elevator was reprimanded later by one of her assistants.
She's really she wanted the elite, and everybody else, the little people.
And I'm going to tell you what what's really going on here.
For those of you Democrats who think it's going to be such a big deal to go to Sarah Jessica Parker's house, have dinner with Obama and Michelle and the Kardashians, and then Anna Winter and Sarah Jessica Parker.
All you're doing is ending up on a Democrat Party fundraising mailing list.
When you go to their website and register, guess what?
You're now going to be swarmed with emails and pitches for money from the Obama campaign.
That's all this is.
Do you really think?
Do you really think they want to have dinner with a couple of plebes at Sarah Jessica Parker's house?
Do you think she really wants the gas station guy in her place?
Do you really think that they care what the winners of this contest actually think?
That's what the ads say.
We want to hear what you think.
They don't want to even be with you.
This is gonna be the longest two hours these people have ever spent.
And probably what's going to happen, you'll show up if you're the winner.
It'll be a cocktail party with a bunch of staffers.
At dinner, that's when you'll see everybody show up for the first time.
They'll leave before dessert.
You'll be entertained for a while then ushered out during dinner.
So what do you think, Zeke?
And they'll knock like they're really the smartest guy in the room and so forth, but it's all a sham.
It's to create a mailing list for fundraising this summer.
That's what this is.
I mean, that's the way the business works.
It's not a criticism.
I'm just trying to tell you that's all this really is.
Let's grab some phones quickly to Madison.
We got a lot of Wisconsin callers.
Madison first, this is Sarah.
Thanks for the call.
Great to have you here.
Hi.
Hi, Russ.
Thanks for taking my call.
You bet.
Um, I'd like to thank you for keeping me informed.
I'm um, you know, today was in a really emotional day voting, actually, in the state, and you know, just cheering out of touch.
Obama is running around with celebrities and sending all the union thugs into our state.
You know, folks here just want to get back to normal lives, and voting again shouldn't be emotional.
You know, it's it's becoming really overwhelming living here in Wisconsin.
My ride to work today, on every corner, you know, there are protesters, and people have voter fatigue, no matter what they say in the polls about their state.
My friends that are liberals are expressing, you know, their concerns and the fact that they're just exhausted with everything.
Let me tell you something.
This is showdown election, Sarah.
I mean, there's a lot on the line here for everybody, particularly the Democrats.
But I'll tell you, there's also a I understand you're fed up, all these elections and it never ends, and and everybody's in the states at war with one another.
Who wants that?
Who wants to live at war, particularly with your fellow citizens?
I know exactly what you're saying.
I don't blame you at all for feeling the way you do.
But we all know what's on the line for the Democrats and Obama, uh, and they know it too.
But folks, there's another side to that.
And that is if Walker loses this thing, you can forget any other Republican governor taking on the unions.
You can for it's gonna be a long time before another steel-spined Republican governor comes along.
Nobody in politics wants to go through this, no matter how much you believe it.
This is um this is the kind of harassment and uh destruction that the Democrats and the left are famous for, and they want to just wear you out.
And if Walker loses this, um the fallout on the Republican side is somewhat troubling.
Why would another Republican governor take him on if this is what's gonna happen?
And this recall, do you know why there's a recalled election?
I'll give you something else that's haunting about this.
We've spoken in the past in this program about how the left wants to criminalize policy disagreements.
If you're not liberal, you're engaging in criminal activity if you're a conservative.
This recall is about nothing more than policy.
Nothing more than they went out and they got signatures.
Hitler signed, it was approved.
Daffy Duck signed, it was approved.
Mickey Mouse signed, it was approved.
Peter Pan, signature, registered voter.
The judge said it counts.
All those signatures counted.
They got enough signatures to recall Walker, and it's strictly about policy.
Nothing more.
It's not about malfeasance, it's not about Corruption.
Not about crime, it's simply about policy disagreements.
And I'd say this guy Walker is one of the gutsiest, toughest, strongest, committed guys I have seen in Republican politics in a long time.
He deserves to win this.
And he deserves to be celebrated tremendously after this victory today.
We will be right back.
As always is the case, there's much more straight ahead.
We have barely scratched the surface of the universe of potential.
That is today's excursion into broadcast excellence.
El Rushbaugh is serving humanity, and we will continue mere moments.
