Claire McCaskill, a uh Senator Rett from my home state of Missouri, says, let's try national health care first.
Let's just see.
Try it.
During a stop in Springfield, Missouri, Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill said that people need to try Obama's national health care plan before they knock it.
She says it hasn't been put in place yet.
People are pretty sure they don't like it, but once they do, she goes on to say that they'll be reminded why health care was reformed in this country.
She says that uh uh uh the ways of dealing with health insurance companies will be gone, and people won't have to worry if their employer is gonna drop coverage because it's too expensive, because the government will have it, and if you don't have it, you'll have to buy it, and if you don't buy it, you'll get fined.
You should try this.
You'll like it.
She also says that multimillionaire executives won't be allowed to pull down huge paychecks.
And the pre-existing condition clause will be done away with.
Really?
Multimillionaire executives won't be allowed to pull down huge paychecks.
Really that's part of Obamacare.
I know that that's what Obama wants over, but is that part of Obamacare?
Multimillionaire execs won't be allowed to pull down huge paychecks.
As though it's Obama's business what people earn.
Look, no, no, she's dead serious, snarkly.
She she thinks that we can try it, and if we don't like it, we can dump it.
She doesn't get it.
She really doesn't know once it's implemented, that's it.
Roll in this thing, but you ever heard of an entitlement that's been rolled back and stopped?
You ever heard of an entitlement that's been uh uh defunded?
Try it.
Well, no, this is like kind of like Pelosi.
Look it.
We're gonna have to vote for this before we find out what's in it.
McCaskill's saying you're gonna have to try this before you'll really know how bad what it's like.
Also from the Hill.com White House has diverted $500 million to the IRS to implement the new health care law.
The regime is quietly diverting roughly $500 million to the IRS to help implement the president's health care law.
The money is only part of the IRS's total implementation spending, and it's being provided outside the normal appropriations process.
Does Obama ever do anything within the normal process?
Republican lawmakers have tried to cut off funding to implement the health care law, at least until the Supreme Court's decided whether to strike it down.
The regime is plowed ahead despite the legal and political challenges.
It has moved aggressively to get important policies in place, and according to a review of budget documents and figures provided by congressional staff, the regime's also burning through implementation funding provided in the health care law.
Must be a slow news day at the Politico.
Because what they've done here is commit a random act of journalism, whether they know it or not.
What the politicals done here, they have found that Obama has quietly diverted, not allocated, not appropriate, diverted.
quietly diverted I mean taking it from someplace else and redirecting it to it's a half billion dollars to the IRS to enforce Obamacare Now, look, I know the answer to this.
I just want to ask you, hypothetically here, why in the world does the IRS what why do we have a health care plan that requires the involvement of the IRS?
That's the question.
That's what everybody needs to be asking themselves.
You might think health care is about affordable health care for all Americans and free for many.
And never again will you be turned down, and always will you be treated for whatever's wrong with you.
It's magic it's going to happen, your premiums are going to go.
Even with that, why do you need the IRS?
What does the IRS do?
The IRS collects money.
The IRS is there to make sure that we are all complying with tax law and then to find those who aren't and to get it from them.
So what does that have to do with health care for all Americans?
Why does why does the IRS have to be involved in implementing a health care bill?
Well, you and I know the answer.
I'm just, you ought to understand here, folks, there are gazillions of new listeners here each and every day.
Many out of curiosity.
So Obama has diverted a half a billion dollars to the IRS to enforce health care.
What what is the IRS going to go to doctor's offices and make sure that they treat you when you walk in?
Is the IRS going to make sure that if you have a preexisting condition, that your insurance company or your insurance period covers you?
What is the IRS involved here for?
And the political says that Obama did this outside the normal appropriations process.
So as the Hill notes here, the this $500 million to the IRS is just part of the money.
The White House is shoveling out the door.
The article notes that Obama's burning through implementation funding provided in the health care law.
Obama also gave the Department of Health and Human Services a $1 billion implementation fund to use as it sees fit.
That's a slush fund.
Polite term for giving as much money to his friends as possible before the elections.
That's what this is outrageous.
They found it now.
They think it's a good thing, though.
While they've done a random act of journalism, the people at the Hill.com, this is a wonderful thing.
The IRS, they're out there to ensure that there's uniformity.
The IRS is out there to ensure that there's fairness.
The IRS is there to ensure that people comply.
Right, because we live in the United States where everything happens as a result of being forced by the government to do it.
That's why you have the IRS.
You have the IRS because we are being forced to do something, and if we don't do it, they are the mechanism whereby we will be found and dealt with.
In this case, fines will be levied.
It'll be part of your tax return.
If you don't get health insurance, they're going to find you, and you will be audited or you will be found out and you will pay your fine.
That's why the IRS is involved.
In health care legislation, what do you think health care sports?
When you have a catastrophic illness you want to get treated when you need surgery?
What's the IRS got to do with this?
In the normal ebb and flow of the whole concept of being healthy or being sick, what does the IRS have to do with this?
It's very simple.
The Hill notes in passing how these money transfers, the $500 million to the IRS, allows the IRS to make the health care law a smaller part of its public budget figures.
In other words, the IRS is using the shell game to lie about the true costs of enforcing Obamacare.
If they're given $500 million, then they can report that enforcing it's cost much less.
But still the question, why in the world is the IRS There to enforce a health care bill.
I thought this is all being done with love and compassion, caring for people, making sure if they got sick, they got well, making sure that they had insurance, all wonderful things, all really great things.
Getting us even with all the great nations in the world like Cuba who have great health care, whereas we don't.
My point is that when you have a massive piece of legislation like this that requires an agency like the IRS to deal with enforcement, you better have a lot of red flags go up.
Because the key word is enforcement, making sure that we comply.
That means the regime is they're charging ahead with the fact that they are going to be able to require us to buy health insurance.
They are not waiting for the court decision.
They're not waiting for the Supreme Court to rule on this, they are assuming or guarding against either way.
What happens by implementing this, making it tougher to get rid of it once it's implemented.
But it all revolves around being forced to buy health insurance or pay a fine.
Ken in eastern Tennessee, welcome to the program.
Great to have you here.
Yes, thanks, Mr. Limbaugh, for taking my call.
Uh I just disagree with what you said earlier about the health care penalty.
From what I understand that if you don't have a job or you don't have any money, you'll end up getting the health care for free.
Is that not correct?
Um if you don't have a job and if you don't have any money, you'll get your health care.
Well, you do now.
It's called the emergency room.
I don't have any health care.
If you need it, go to the emergency room, you've got it.
They're required by law to treat you.
Right.
If you get if you go to the emergency room.
Right.
But uh, if you need to go in for like prescription drugs or anything or or get something like that, why wouldn't I say what I'm saying is they cannot put me in jail, and what I understand is that you'll get it for free anyway.
So everybody will be on one level.
If I don't have to pay for it either way.
If you are required to buy health insurance and you don't, you will pay a fine, whether you have a job or not.
Well, how can you get blood out for turnip?
I don't understand that.
Well they did to you, the jails are full.
There's they could put 10 million people in jail and you don't have a job.
Wait a minute.
I'm not now you go pay for it.
I need some clarification.
I don't know where you are on this.
Are you do you want everybody else to pay for your health care?
Are you trying to make another point that I'm missing?
I'm totally against this health care bill, even though I don't have any health insurance myself, because I know it's going to destroy the health care system.
Okay, good.
So that helped me put your question in perspective.
So you're asking if people like you who don't have a job and don't have any money, do they still get health care for free?
Right.
From what I understand when they were talking about it before the Supreme Court, that that's what will happen.
You'll get it for free anyway.
So it's all a big lie from what I understand.
Well uh the Supreme Court wasn't talking about that.
The uh what's happening is that the Obama administration wants people to think it's not going to cost them anything.
And they've succeeded.
The Obama administration wants most people to think it's somebody else is going to be paying for their health care.
That it is going to be free.
But you're eligible for Medicaid now.
This is the point.
You you you're you're whether you have any income or not, you're eligible for health care already in the country.
It's called Medicaid.
Um, and that's all you're gonna get under Obamacare.
It's it's it's it's uh it really really isn't any different.
But they want people to think it's free.
They want most people to think that a couple of millionaires are gonna be paying for this for them.
And that by the way, that's only fair.
And it's only right.
I mean, they're they're they're lying for their teeth about how all this is going to happen.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Mike in Lewiston, New York.
Welcome to the program.
Hello.
Hey, Russ, how are you doing?
Pretty good, thank you.
You know, I I think the Republicans need to pound this day after day, uh, That, first of all, health care is not free.
And if if the IRS is involved, you know, who's paying for these thousands of agents who are going to go out and hunt these people down, like the KGB.
Well, I think it is the question.
I'm sure that's why I kept asking it.
What in the world?
We've got a health care bill here.
The American people think that this is happening because of the compassion, the altruism of Obama and the Democrats.
The Obama and the Democrats want people to think the Republicans don't want you to have health care.
And furthermore, that the Republicans are waging war on women and don't want them to have birth control pills.
But Obama and the Democrats, they're the ones with the big hearts.
And they're the ones with the compassion.
And they're the ones protecting you from these mean Republicans who don't want you to have anything.
And they want to take away everything you've got.
They want to take your Social Security away.
They want to take your health care away.
They want to take your house.
They want to take your birth control pills and whatever else.
Your Viagra, you name it, they want to take it away.
But Obama and the boys, they're the ones with the big hearts.
And yet, what's the IRS got to do with this?
What does the IRS have to do with health care?
It's a question everybody needs to be asked, particularly if you are one of these people who've bought into this notion that the only kind and compassionate people around are the Democrats and Obama, and that this health care bill is about getting you health care for nothing or for very little cost.
You need to ask yourself a very simple question.
Why in the world do we have to divert $500 million to the IRS for people to have health care?
What in the world is that about?
You're very shrewd, Mike.
I'm glad you picked up it's why I asked the question.
We're always looking for ways to persuade here, folks.
And I the IRS, I don't last time I looked, is not one of the most universally popular government bureaucracies.
What in the world are they doing being involved in health care?
Why is the IRS involved in enforcement?
When we're talking about kind, compassionate health care, making people well who are sick.
What's the IRS got to do with that?
And we are back.
A Republican lawmaker is intensifying his push for legislation that would change how the government measures the unemployment rate.
Duncan Hunter, a Republican from California, intends to press Republican leaders to move his bill to include the number of individuals who gave up looking for work in the percentage of uh of jobless claims.
Should the government measure unemployment with his figure, the unemployment rate would be, well, anyway, 9.8 to 10.2 percent.
If you were to count the people who are not working, who've given up looking, those people are not counted now.
By the time you tack the labor force participation rate into this and the number of jobs that they say just don't exist anymore.
This the unemployment rate that's reported as 8.2% is fraudulent.
It is not accurate.
It doesn't reflect what's actually happening in the country.
It has been manufactured specifically to cushion the news during an election year.
The unemployment rate in this country is actually much worse.
And it's it's it's it's all part of the same plan.
You've got $3 to $4 a gallon gasoline, some places higher.
You have accompanying news stories.
Uh, not a big deal anymore.
Uh people have learned to adjust.
Uh, there's a lot of complacency with people understand now.
Well, the same token.
Uh 8.2% unemployment, that's kind of like 5% used to be.
It's about as good as we can do.
Uh It's uh it's it's it's it's all it's not that bad, folks.
It just it there's a there's a massive move on to try to make the literally devastating realities of this economy seem like no big deal.
The media is working with the White House, the government is is is publishing phony data.
If you put it on a chart, you know, charts are impossible to explain on the radio.
And I can hold the chart up here to the ditto cam, but uh waste of time.
And I could put the chart maybe up on Facebook or uh at Rush Limbaugh Docs.
I could do that.
Um and I might, the chart I'm referring to here.
But it's it's very difficult to translate chart data to uh to radio.
But the fact of the matter is, though what Duncan Hunter is talking about here is the difference in the U3 versus the U6 number.
U3 is what's reported.
That's the 8.2 number, and that does not include people who have given up looking for jobs after four years.
They're still out there.
They're not working, but they're not looking.
So they aren't, according to current tabulation techniques, counted as unemployed, because they're not looking for a job.
And you as a as I say, if you add the reduction in the labor force participation rate, which is the universe number of jobs, total number of jobs available, which is down over two million since Obama was inaugurated.
We've got an utter disaster on our hands.
We have a literal economic disaster on our hands.
And while we have this literal economic disaster on our hands, we have Obama and the Democrats telling us that it's the fault of the way the country was founded.
That's what Obama means when he says this this is uh you're out for yourself, you're on your own economy.
It's never worked.
He's talking about capitalism.
He's talking about free markets.
The basis of the founding of the country.
What he wants you to believe is that this mess that we're in happened because it took 200 plus years, but by the 1986 or 2006-2007, it started to fall apart.
And he's saddled with fixing it.
200 plus years of abject failure just happened to collapse when he was inaugurated.
And now he's got this mess, and he's got the answers.
We're going to do it the fair way, we're going to do it the smart way, we're going to put people back to work, we're going to give people a chance for advance.
All of these wonderful terms.
But we're going to do it his way.
We're going to do it with stimulus spending, and we're going to create green jobs, except we're not.
And we're going to create new green energies, except we're not.
And we're going to build roads and bridges and schools and shovel-ready jobs, except we're not.
But that's the ticket.
Government spending, debt deficit, national debt on the rise.
But that's the price, folks.
This is what we must fix a 200-plus year mistake given to us by the white Europeans who founded this country.
Obama sees the founding fathers as social Darwinists.
Survival of the fittest, they do they put together a system that said if you can take care of yourself and screw other people at the same time, then you can get rich, fabulously rich, and you can build businesses that exploit people.
You can build oil companies that pollute the land and destroy the climate.
You can build cars that kill people because they use the wheel.
You can you can invent drugs that don't make people well that make you rich, that just compound their you can do all of these rotten things.
You can create big retail box stores that rip people off and put genuine American mom and bob stores out of business.
All of these heathens, all of these evil, rotten, selfish on their own people.
That's what this country was founded to do, and it it worked for a while, but actually it never worked, because look where we are.
And economists from across the spectrum all agree that it has never worked from the founding, and it's all coming due now.
So 200 plus years of failure, it just so happened that it came to light when Obama was elected president and then was inaugurated, and it's his job now to put this mess back together, and and we only way we can do it is to shrink the private sector where all this cheating happens.
And all this, all these people that are out for themselves live.
That's where they are in the private sector, and that's why they're allowed to get away with all this behavior that cheats and lies and steals from people, exploits them.
But those days are over.
Now we're all looking out for each other.
And now the government's going to make sure that those kind of people don't get away with cheating you, stealing from you, exploiting you, killing you, or what have you.
And we're going to make sure we finally have smart jobs.
We're going to have wind energy jobs, solar energy jobs, and we're going to have electric cars, and we're going to all this wonderful magical stuff.
Pond scum.
Now Obama's going to run for re-election and be in the guy in charge of pawn scum.
Algae.
This is what is being said.
This is what is meant when Obama says this on your own economy has never worked.
And so, yeah, we have 8.2% unemployment that's actually closer to 19%, but that's the price we pay for 250 years of a system that was immoral and unjust and never worked.
It's not his policies that did this.
His policies are the beginning of the fix.
And he's got teachers in schools telling kids this.
He's got university professors telling their students this.
And of course, they come out of these institutions believing this stuff.
And so they are all for any policy that'll take from these people who have been exploiting and stealing and killing and otherwise harming customers.
And Obama in charge of that money, he'll be fair about it.
It'll be make sure that everybody gets their fair share now.
There won't be any of these people have multiple billions while only some others only have 25 or 50,000.
That's just not fair.
It's not right, and Obama's going to fix that.
Now what'll happen is that everybody will only have 40,000, and he will have the rest.
And his buddies.
Because all they're doing, in truth, is getting their hands on the money without having to work for it, under the guise of redistributing, giving it to you.
And in order to get your money, they need the IRS to enforce health care.
That's what all this is about, folks.
This is all about Obama the Democrats getting their hands on your money on the premise that they will be fair with making sure it's distributed equally instead of having these corporate raiders and robber barons and thieves and stuff, and these evil CEOs like in big oil.
That's what's gotten this country in the mess that we're in.
Yep.
It's as simple as that to understand.
If you want to know what Obama's all about, what he's telling people what he's trying to make them believe, that's it in a nutshell.
He wants your money.
He'll do better with your money than you spending it with some of these robber barons and corporate raiders and so forth.
He wants your money.
Give it to himself and his buddies, and then everybody will be free and equal.
We'll all have the same amount of health care that's not very good, and we'll all have uh little cars that are not very good, and we'll have mass transit that's not very good, and we'll all have same kind of houses.
If he ever got his dream, then this is what he's headed for.
Because that would be fair.
Everybody having the same, nobody having any more except himself and his buddies, because they're smarter than everybody else, and as the people who saved you from these evil rich people out for themselves, his payment will be that he gets a little bit more than you get.
And so do his buddies.
You'll quickly agree.
And if you don't cough up your money readily, if you don't see this, then here's the IRS knocking on your door as part of the health care bill.
You see.
Half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Rush Limbaugh, your guiding light.
The times of trouble, confusion, murkiness, tumult, deceit, lies, economic collapse, home ownership underwater, and even the good times.
We're here through it all.
Sarah in Kansas City, Kansas.
Great to have you on the program.
I'm glad you waited.
Hi, Russ.
Um, I wanted to comment real quickly on your point about the popularity of the IRS.
And I think this is really amazing that Obama's having the IRS lead up this health care program.
And I'll tell you why.
Historically, um, in terms of implementing coercive regulation.
Americans are terrified of the IRS.
And I think by doing this, this might be a nice reality check for people who think that this health care plan is this fluffy cotton candy plan to go, holy smokes, this is pure infringement of individual liberty.
Well, it's the same thing it hit me.
But uh to be honest here, uh, this actually is nothing new.
The IRS has been a part of Obamacare since the first days they started writing it.
This is nothing new that happened this week.
This isn't uh you probably know this.
I know the rest of the audience, they didn't just decide last week to take $500 million and divert it to the IRS.
This has been in the health care bill from the get-go.
It's in the 2700 pages.
Obamacare is just a new tax, folks.
A series of new taxes.
That's all it is.
It is not a health care bill.
It's disguised as a health care bill to expand the size, the reach, and the scope of government, and to have it as intimately involved in everybody's life as possible.
It has nothing to do with providing people health care.
It isn't going to succeed at that.
It's not about providing everybody with health insurance.
It's going to destroy the private sector health market.
And if you think getting health insurance and treatment from the DMV is something you want to do, that's what you face here.
This is not about that.
It is about a way to tax people who don't have insurance, and to tax the employers who don't provide coverage.
This is about collecting money from people in health care who are not spending any money on health care.
And that's why the IRS is there to enforce these new taxes or fines or levies if you do not follow the rules and buy a policy.
That's why the IRS is there.
That's why this has nothing to do with health care.
It's taxes and collection in 2700 pages.
Remember, folks, our annual curaton for leukemia and lymphoma is this Friday.
From noon to three, as part of the program, we've raised over 30 million dollars so far in 20 some odd years.
