From Amherst.
New York, a document processing firm connected with an embattled New York foreclosure law firm is going out of business.
Pillar Processing Inc. in suburban Buffalo notified the New York State Department of Labor that it will close at the end of February, putting 586 people out of work in Amherst and 18 more in Westbury on Long Island.
Now, Pillar was begun by an attorney named Stephen J. Baum.
His law firm is one of the largest volume mortgage foreclosure firms in New York.
The bomb firm with 90 employees last week revealed its plans to close after enduring criticism for a Halloween party that mocked the homeless and then losing referrals from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
In other words, 586 people have lost their jobs because they told a bunch of jokes at a party.
Criticism for a Halloween party that mocked the homeless and then losing referrals from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Lose their jobs because they were making fun of the homeless, mocking the homeless.
And there is this Al Hunt.
I remember Al Hunt and I don't know how many other journalistas saying that there's nothing about Obama's foreign policy to criticize.
Of course, liberals never think there's anything to criticize about their guys.
What is happening in the Middle East?
Basically, Obama is helping to usher in a caliphate from Morocco clear across the Middle East.
Slate.com has a story, Islamists on track to take majority in Egyptian election.
Now, I remember when the Arab Spring started, we had all of our neocons on our side.
Oh, it's a democracy outbreak.
Oh, it is wonderful.
It's a spreading of democracy in the Middle East.
Well, look at that what's happening there in Tahriri Square, which is a circle, by the way, but it was still, it's happening there.
I said, I don't know.
Remember, we had Nick Roberts of CNN out there talking to Mustafa and Ahmed.
Two of the funniest soundbites I have ever played on this program.
Nick Robertson, he's there.
And I have Mustafa now.
Mustafa, tell me, what is the reaction here to ground at Terry Square to Obama?
And Obama loving the riots here and Obama promising jobs.
And Mustama's, Obama, Obama, well, Obama hadn't care about anything.
Obama hadn't done anything.
What do you mean, Obama?
Hell would you?
And as you can clearly hear, they're excited about the role President Obama has played.
Now, moving on, I'm not talking to Ahmed.
Ahmed, as you look at things here, what is your reaction to President Obama and what President Obama has done?
He hasn't said anything.
He hasn't encouraged us.
Obama said, we're doing this on our own.
Screw Obama.
Hell, as you can hear, said Nick Robertson.
The sentiment here over President Obama and his role in these protests is widely popular in building.
It was the most outrageously funny, hilarious thing I've ever seen.
However, what's happening in Egypt now, you know, all those people that were protesting in Tariri Square, they're getting their butts kicked.
They are not the ones winning the elections.
Their people are not the ones taking over.
The Muslim Brotherhood's taking over the place.
It's not those people that were protesting.
The moderate Muslim Brotherhood, whatever.
But it's hilarious.
It's not hilarious.
It's hilarious.
You got a headline, U.S. finds reassurance in Egypt's peaceful voting.
After two days of largely peaceful voting, marked by high turnouts, U.S. spokesman termed Egypt's first vote since Mubarak's ouster a success.
It isn't.
The people who led the protest, the kids, their version of Occupy Wall Street, are getting shellacked.
And it was clear as a bell.
Anybody who watched this is what was happening, what was going on.
Joe Klein, I mentioned this before the break.
He was on Henry Mitchell, NBC News, Washington this afternoon, and she said, do people really think that Newt Gingrich is going to be nominee?
Really, Joe?
Do people really think Newt is going to be the nominee?
Or is this just the latest iteration in the Republican roller coaster ride?
Newt probably is a more serious contender than Herman Kane was.
Kane was clearly just a parking place.
And especially after we started to attack Kane, then, you know, Republicans, populist Republicans decided to support Kane just to send us a message.
Did you catch that, folks?
Joe Klein, that's exist, especially after we started to attack Kane.
Then, you know, Republicans, populist Republicans, decided to support Kane just to send us a message.
We have to come up.
I know I've come up with drive-by media and all this, but they're not even the media anymore.
Most people, when you talk to them about the media, they think, okay, those are the people going to tell you the news.
That is the last thing that happens anymore.
This is not about the news anymore.
It hasn't been about the news for a long time.
It really isn't about the news.
It is purely, entirely, totally the advancement of an agenda.
There's not even any pretense at finding news.
You know where the news is on cable networks?
It's in the crawl at the bottom of the screen.
That's where you find out what's going on in the world.
That's when you find out if there's been a plane crash.
That's when you find out if some kid's been kidnapped.
That's where you find out if a bank has been robbed.
Whatever the news is.
If there's been a vote on a piece of legislation, you read about it in a crawl at the bottom of the cable network screen.
There's no news anymore.
The media don't even make any pretense.
There's not even any mainstream press.
It's just a giant White House public information office.
Really, when you boil it down, the sun is that simple.
It is that obvious.
The idea that the media is about news is so laughable these days.
That's one of the reasons I've been saying for almost all the 23 plus years behind the golden EIB microphone.
I do the job the mainstream media used to do.
We actually report news on this program.
Now, I'm not a journalist, proudly stated, and I'm not a reporter because I laugh, I smile, but I'm also honest about my objectives and purposes.
They're not.
These people are literally administration spokesmen.
They've always been this way, don't they?
But in the old days, and it wasn't that long ago, they tried to hide behind an illusion that they were newsmen, that there was actual shoe leather involved.
These reporters are actually on the street hunting down stories.
That doesn't happen.
Even the documentary shows or the long-form news shows, the investigative journalists, those are seek and destroy reports.
That's not news.
I'm amazed every day.
Stuff after my program is over, I'm amazed at the things people tell me when I read their emails, or maybe on a rare occasion, run into somebody.
Gosh, I didn't know what you said.
I didn't know that was going on.
I had no idea.
And it's just, it was nothing special.
Just a simple transformation of events.
There really isn't any news.
Not in the traditional sense.
Has Joe Klein here play it again?
So Andrew Mitchell says, Newt, make me laugh.
Does he really have a chance?
You got to be kidding me, Joe.
Newt probably is a more serious contender than Herman Kane was.
Kane was clearly just a parking place, and especially after we started to attack Kane, then, you know, Republicans, populist Republicans, decided to support Kane just to send us a message.
Well, I thought what happened was that some women came forward and said that Kane had sexually harassed them.
And the media said, oh, really?
Oh, okay.
Well, we'll look into what you're saying and we'll do some reporting.
See if we can.
No.
What Joe Klein thinks happened here is: okay, we decided it was Herman Kane's turn and we decided to start attacking him.
And we enlisted the help of the women.
And when we did that, Kane's supporters decided to support him even more just to send us a message.
Now, somebody actually interested in reporting the news would be a shocking thing to think is happening that the public to whom you're reporting the news is trying to send you a message.
But of course, this is another lifting of the veil, if you will.
Klein letting us all know that the news is the last thing he's into.
Reporting the news.
That's why we're doing it.
We're advancing our agenda.
We are White House stenographers.
The news media is the Democrat Party's defense lawyers and the Republican Party's prosecutors all wrote, and they are the jury.
They are the defense lawyer, the prosecutor, and the judge, and the jury when it comes to Republicans.
They are the probation officer for the Democrats.
They are the jail guards who always lose the keys to the cell, allowing the prisoners to escape for those of you in Rio Linda.
Barney Frank, before we go to the break, last night on hardball, I wonder if Barney likes the title of that show.
He's on there with Chris Matthews.
Matthews, let me ask you about good and evil.
Do you believe in it?
Do you believe that we're all a mixed bag?
Do you believe that there's some people like Newt Gingrich that personify one side of Manichean struggle in our life?
Now, think of this question.
Barney Frank, is there good and evil?
I want to ask you about that.
Do you believe in good and evil?
Do you believe that we're all a mixed bag?
Or do you believe that there's some people like Newt Gingrich that personify the devil?
And here is Barney's answer.
I wouldn't call him evil.
Hitler was evil.
Saddam Hussein was evil.
Stalin and many of his successors, Mugabe.
In Gingrich's case, there was an unusually heavy preponderance, I think, of the bad qualities.
He got Tip O'Neill Furious because he used to stand, as you know, in the well of the house at a time when the TV cameras only showed the speaker and didn't show that there was nobody there.
And he would say to empty seats, I say you Democrats are traitors.
And if you don't agree with me, stand up and say so.
Have the courage to say so.
He was saying that to empty chairs.
That made Tip change the whole way that the cameras were there.
He's talking about the special orders.
And this was in the 80s.
And this is where Newt made his bones.
You remember those?
Do you remember watching those thirdly?
I was working in Kansas City, and I'm telling you, I made it a point to watch them.
It wasn't just Newt.
He had some of the, they were called the Conservative Opportunity Society at the time.
Dick Army go in there, Kemp, I think, was part of it.
And the House chair was the chamber was empty, except for these guys.
Standard business was over, but as long as somebody wanted to go speak, the cameras from C-SPAN Television, and what happened to those special orders was dynamite, because every day, Ronald Reagan was being savaged.
He was being attacked.
This was the days of the Bolin Amendment, the conference, the Nicaraguas, all of this stuff.
And Gingrich and the boys are defending supply-side economics.
They're defending everything Reagan is doing.
And it's what put Newt on the map.
I had just, this would be 1980, had to be 1983 because that's when I left the Royals and went back to work radio.
And that's when this might have been 82, but one of those two years.
And it did.
You know, Tip did get ticked off because it was effective.
But Newt didn't do this stuff.
He wasn't, he didn't, he just said, stand up.
You people are traitors.
Stand up and defend.
He didn't do that.
Barney, just making this up.
The thing about Barney Frank, I don't know anybody who thinks he's a nice guy.
No, Barney Frank is one of the nastiest people that you'll ever run.
Nobody, ask anybody.
I've never seen him in a good mood.
They've never seen him.
In fact, in one of the articles praising Barney Frank to the skies, quoted him as saying, one of the advantages of me not running for office is I don't have to pretend to be nice to people I don't like.
You're probably talking about the fishing industry, but who knows?
Okay, we are back.
El Rush Bos serving humanity and the excellence in broadcasting network.
And we go back to the phones.
Who's next?
Rich in Moscow Mills, Missouri.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Hey, Rush.
Good to get through.
Thank you very much, sir.
Appreciate that.
Hey, Merry Christmas to you and Catherine, okay?
Thank you very much, sir.
Hey, while I was listening, this is why we hope he failed.
I was floored while I was on hold about this Halloween thing, 500 and something people.
Yep.
Oh, my God.
586 people, place closed down because they were mocking the homeless.
Let me tell you, this is why I listened for 22 years, and I'm never shocked by this guy because you knew what was coming because you warned us.
Well, I know liberals.
You know, it's kind of a dual-edged sword for me.
I'm happy to be one of the few people who knows it, but I wish everybody had the ability to be as honest about who liberals are and what that means and had the courage to identify because I think it all is about ideology.
Everything is so much more easily explained.
Well, you know, the reason I called was about the Kane thing, but while I'm listening, I'm hearing about people losing jobs through Freddie and Fanny not backing it and all this thing.
And I'm thinking, you know, this Kane thing seems so insignificant, but I did want to say that Obama, every time Kane stands up as a black man and says, I can be president, I believe I'm the man.
I have a 40-year work experience where I've solved problems.
It's a direct reflection on another black man that had nothing.
And he cannot afford Mr. Kane being out there speaking from the heart and solving problems realistically versus this big government that's smothering us.
Yeah, I think it's true.
That side-by-side comparison would have to bother him, especially the possibility of splintering the black vote.
It wouldn't take me, if Obama or any Democrat, with everything else being the same or equal, you take as little as 8% of the black vote away from him, and it changes dramatically the outcome.
The black population is not, it's like 12.6 million people, but their vote is so unanimous for Democrats.
It wouldn't take much to change it.
And I'm sure that's something that scares them.
And they take into account.
And you have to consider it as a possibility in terms of looking at who might want to take Kane out, particularly when you can't.
Everything about this regime is oriented in race.
Every criticism of this president is said to be racial.
Every vote against him is said to be racial.
And you present an option to Obama, who is another African American, and it totally takes that off the table.
An American population voting for two black people, and let's say Herman Kaine would, that would, the apple cart that would upset is incomprehensible.
I can see where they would be deathly afraid of that.
Profoundly scared of it.
And we don't even have to imagine it.
We have seen what they have done to others like Clarence Thomas for the exact same reason.
Their hold on the minority vote, their hold on the minorities in this country is rooted entirely in the fact that only the Democrat Party cares about them and only the Democrat Party is going to feed them and only the Democrat Party is going to protect them from racism and discrimination, all that sort of stuff.
And anything that blows the lie of that sky high can't be tolerated.
They can't take the chance.
So I'll revise and extend my remarks.
And it is entirely possible that the regime could be behind this Obama stuff.
After all, Baya Lick lives in Axel Rudd's building.
Back to the phones, Charlie in La Verne, California.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Welcome.
Thank you, Rush.
It's an honor to speak with you.
Thank you, sir.
This article, I can't understand where the Wall Street Journal can give any kind of legitimacy to a man like Andy Stern.
It's as if he believes that China's economy operates in a vacuum.
There's a grisly article in the Weekly Standard today with several doctors from China who actually participated in harvesting of organs from political and religious dissidents in remote countryside areas where they were in these antiseptic vehicles parked right next to open ditches.
And the bodies were brought in, recently chilled, and they just harvested the organs and threw the bodies in a ditch.
And for Andy Stern to believe that an economy is effective.
How do you know that he didn't teach them that?
Well, you probably read about that.
Who are we talking about here?
Actually, I am glad that the Wall Street Journal published the thing.
If it was in the Communist Party USA, I would have missed it.
I'm glad the Journal published it.
And, you know, I had not seen the Weekly Standard story, but it doesn't surprise me.
So the Chikoms get their political enemies, they wipe them out, and they harvest their organs for the party members.
Look at, this is not something that Andy Stern would find reprehensible.
I don't know how to explain this.
I know that sounds pretty extreme.
Look at people who believe in authoritarian, centrally planned governments who want that kind of concentrated power, want it for a reason.
When you've got a guy who runs the SEIU, who writes a column longing for the power, which is all this is, that leaders in communist countries have, then everything else goes.
Don't think Andy Stern doesn't know stuff like that happened.
And don't think that he doesn't know of the one-child policy and the abortions that take place and all the other.
He knows exactly what he's, that's why he likes it.
Liberals are who they are.
Rush, you can't possibly.
Yes, I do.
Without a doubt.
Now, I don't want you to, I'm not saying that Andy Stern would be in charge of the organ harvesting program set up by the Obama regime if they turn this place into China.
That's not what I'm saying.
I'm just telling you that when you have people who look at China and envy the power, and then you understand that there hasn't been a communist regime on earth that has not done things like that, what would Andy Stern's communist regime, how would it be any different?
Communism is what it is.
Liberalism is what it is.
Conservatism is what it is.
Freedom is what it is.
This is the problem.
Who would have ever believed that we would have elected a president who could literally pass such a freedom-killing piece of legislation called Obamacare?
Who would have believed that we would have elected a president who has purposely systematically destroyed how many millions of jobs in the private sector for one reason to grow the government, i.e., increase his own power?
It's happening right before our very eyes.
The history of communism worldwide is well documented, as is the history of all of its apologists.
The history of people who live in tyranny is also well documented, and it's happening around the world to this day.
We've always been the exception to that.
But believe me, the history of the human race is not the United States.
The history of the human race is more commonly found in tyrannical regimes.
That's what's been so amazing about this country.
And our existence has been in part to liberate as many people from those types of regimes as possible.
So I don't unable to sit here and say, well, you know, that kind of stuff, I'm sure Andy Stern doesn't even know what goes on.
I don't know that I'd be forced to bet the other way.
There isn't a person alive other than a deranged, uneducated college student.
In other words, young, naive, maleducated, ill-educated person.
There is a person alive of any age and maturity and power who is suggesting or promoting communist-type government without knowing what it is.
Because they know what it is, is precisely why they love it.
If you're having trouble believing this, then welcome to the club because I am like you.
I don't understand how anybody can hate this country.
I told you yesterday, and I know it sounds nice.
I mean, I understand it.
I know all of the, I hear their explanation, but I'm telling you in my heart, I don't understand how others in their hearts can hate this country.
It does not compute, but I know they do.
And I take them seriously as to why.
And Andy Stern is one who does.
So if you think that all these kinds of atrocities couldn't happen, well, they couldn't happen here at one time, and they still can't.
But for how long?
I'm sure the people that lived in Germany never thought what was going to happen there happened.
Or what happened there was going to happen.
Otherwise, they would have stopped it.
But it was too late when they all figured it out.
That's world human history, folks.
That's been the norm.
We are the exception, but only for 200 and some odd years.
Human beings have been walking around for thousands of years.
And the lone exception to that has been this country.
the Brits, so forth, but even in their history.
So I, yeah, I know it sounds odd and a little bit extreme here, but I don't even, I don't want to give them even the chance to get close to it.
People that want that kind of power over other individuals, red flags ought to go up with everybody.
And we've got a history with Henry Stern.
Andy Stern.
We know who he is, the things he believes in, things he said.
These people have a history of undermining the whole notion of individual freedom and liberty in this country.
It's just there.
Some people just can't believe it, so I don't want to think about it.
No, those people aren't going to win, Rush.
We don't have to worry about it.
They're always going to be fringe people.
I never thought we'd elected a president who would purposely destroy jobs.
I never thought that would happen.
But it has.
So last night, Obama's at one of his many fundraisers in New York City, and he's talking to donors from the 1%.
And one of the things he says to reporters, he said, our kids are going to be fine.
I always tell, is it Malia or Malia?
I always tell Malia and Sasha, look, you guys, I don't worry about you.
They're on a path to be successful, even if the country as a whole is not successful.
But that's not our vision.
I don't want an America where my kids are living beyond walls and gates and can't feel a part of a country that's giving everybody a shot.
My kids, I don't worry, they're going to be fine no matter what happens in the country.
Also, the Atlanta urinal and constipation, Kane accusers phone records sought.
Just days before coming forward with allegations of this affair, Ginger White was repeatedly having contact with Kane.
Between October 22 and November 18, there were 70 text messages between her cell phone and his.
Some were as early as 4.54 a.m. and some came late into the night.
Kane's attorney told a newspaper he thinks most of the messages were asking for money.
A review of the records by the Atlanta Urinal Constipation shows that Kane sent 17 messages to White, almost always responding to messages from her.
There were 70 total.
17 were his, all in response.
Kane's lawyer said, yeah, she was asking for money.
The Atlanta urinal constipation looking into this.
What's Joe Klein going to do when he finds out about this?
Here's Joseph in Charleston, South Carolina.
Joseph, great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello, sir.
We make a fellow talk show host Ditto's Rush.
How are you doing today?
Very good, sir.
Thanks.
I wanted to comment on what you were talking about before.
They think basically you talk about zero baseline budgeting.
They're doing zero baseline socialism every year.
They start off with a power base that they accrue, and then once they've got that, they keep moving.
Because, I mean, President Obama is a product of the Reagan administration.
He was in the schools during that time.
I can only imagine what they're producing now.
Well, he's openly talked about how his mission in life was to fix all the things that Reagan and his minions screwed up.
He grew up hating Reagan.
He grew up despising everything.
That's what he was taught.
But, you know, you have a good point about this.
One of the people always say to me, Rush, you can't be right about this.
The liberals, they're not, everybody knows communism doesn't work.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
The same thing about liberalism, it doesn't work either.
Look at a great society, a war on poverty, you name it.
Everything they do falls apart.
Everything they do is never a solution.
It just creates a bigger problem, needing a new program.
What they tell themselves is there's nothing wrong with communism.
Nothing wrong with liberalism.
The right people haven't tried it yet, or it hasn't been properly funded yet.
Let us run it and we can make it work.
And every new generation of bubbling-up young liberals thinks the same thing.
Even now, I guarantee the Occupy people, okay, Obama, blow it.
The right people could pull this off.
The right people could make it happen.
And therefore, the dream stays alive.
Well, Newt, I just got to note here.
I don't know when it's going to happen, but Newt is going to sit down and have a tete with Donald Trump.
This is becoming standard operating procedure.
In interest of full disclosure, I will soon be playing golf with Donald Trump.
