Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Michelle Obama, Moochel Obama, First Lady, United States of America, says that she wants to embrace the country that she loves.
What country is she talking about and what's stopping her?
Well, I know it better be us, but she doesn't say.
Now she did say at one point in time that she was proud of her country for the first time ever, when her husband, the Messiah, was running for office, and now she says that she wants to embrace the country that she loves.
But does anybody know what country she's talking about?
Hi, folks.
How are you?
It's great to have you back.
Great to be with you.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program today is 800-282-2882, the email address L Rushball at EIB net.com in New York State.
They are going to ban wiffle ball and freeze tag at summer camp.
If you're going to do a summer camp for little children and you're going to have them play wiffle ball, you're not going to be allowed to have your summer camp because it's too dangerous.
Whiffle ball.
No, no, not making it up.
That's right.
I've got two different sources on it.
One's the New York Daily News, one's uh Channel 5, NBC New York.
Man, I it just it goes on.
Obama had a town hall meeting today in Northern Virginia.
He went out there and again talked to a bunch of skulls full of mush.
Folks, it's embarrassing.
Um telepromp, I I I continue to be challenged in determining whether Obama is just in over his head or is incompetent on purpose.
It's it's it's this this was pathetic.
This was so cliched talking to these students about hating the rich.
We've got to invest in education, clearly aiming for applause lines from a from a young audience that's going to respond to beating up big corporations.
He did a lot of that.
Um he promoted his stupid green energy that doesn't have promise of future jobs or even energy in it.
We have audio sound bites from that coming up.
Uh Charles Manson.
What a day we've got here.
Charles Manson has broken his silence, 20-year silence to the media.
He has he's broken his silence to rail against the dangers of global warming.
Now look at the nutcases that are somehow aligning themselves or with each other to promote this hoax now that it has been exposed.
Now here you have Manson.
I mean, this even brainwashers can be brainwashed.
That's what Manson was, he was a brainwasher.
And now he's been brainwashed by the global warming crowd.
Or he could be faking it.
He could be trying to get out of jail early, could be trying to this might be a P into the to the to the parole board.
Either he's pleading insanity or he's sucking up to a bunch of liberals.
But for crying out loud.
What was it, January of 2010, just a little over a year ago, it was bin Laden who came out of his cave to warn about the dangers of global warming.
Why?
Why does global warming attract so many people who want to destroy our country?
That's a good way to look at it.
Global warming attracts any number international United Nations domestic leftists who want to destroy this country.
And it's back with a vengeance.
I got a whole, well, not a whole stack here, but I've got three or four just delicious global warming stories such as this.
United Nations prepares to debate whether Mother Earth deserves human rights status.
Yes.
Yes, it's from Fox News.
UN diplomats on Wednesday tomorrow will set aside pressing issues of international peace and security to devote an entire day debating the rights of Mother Earth.
A block of mostly socialist governments led by Bolivia have put the issue On the General Assembly's agenda to discuss the creation of a United Nations treaty that would grant the same rights found in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to Mother Nature.
Mostly socialist governments, it says here, in case there was still any doubt about the real agenda at work behind the Green Movement.
And so amidst this genuine idiocy, here comes Obama out touting the same stuff to these young skulls full of mushroom, wherever it was.
It was college or university, uh votex, I don't know what it was, somewhere in uh in uh in Northern Virginia.
So here's Manson coming out, joining Bin Laden, and the rest of those who hate America, who want to see America destroyed, joining the global warming hoax.
Uh you know, I I swear, folks, it it almost seems like the United Nations is not a serious organization.
I say this with all due mocking.
Um look at the United Nations, the environmental movement, are really more about the redistribution of money than about saving the planet.
And of course, destroying the United States.
And in the midst of all this, we get news that Fidel Castro stepping down as the head of the Communist Party in Cuba.
Well, yeah, you're Robert Kennedy Jr.
I mean, the names, the list goes like you could have Manson, you got bin Laden, you got Castro, he's a global warming guy.
Got Al Gorgon, Robert Kennedy Jr.
I mean, look at this elite list.
Brackly everybody in the Democrat Party.
What does Manson think about health care?
I don't think he cares.
He gets it, which is uh he gets his share of it.
I don't know, but obviously the world and the left waits.
On the spectrum, where would uh where would Manson be on the political spectrum?
Would we say Manson be a leftist?
Absolutely, right?
Absolutely.
Uh no, he has not weighed in on the uh on the Paul Ryan budget.
But I'll bet you when he does, we'll hear about it.
You know that Charles Manson and Bin Laden, too, and I and I guarantee you, whatever they say will parrot whatever the Democrat Party is saying.
And nobody will think that's strange except at us, except for us here at the uh EIB.
And then Castro.
Castro stepping down as the head of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Uh the Castros are even thinking about doing away with rationing.
Imagine, folks.
Getting rid of rationing in a workers' paradise.
In fact, according to reports, the Castro brothers are even going to let people buy houses and cars for the first time in more than 50 years.
Really?
They're going to let them buy cars.
Of course, Obama and his brothers are doing the best to swim in the opposite direction here in the uh in the United States.
And to taxes the uh uh according to some estimates, the Obamas saved somewhere.
This is an interesting the way this is written.
They saved somewhere around 100,000 in taxes on their 1.7 million dollar income thanks to the Bush tax cuts.
This is how it's actually written in the stories, how much their taxes would have been.
Therefore, they've saved 100 grand utilizing the Bush tax cut rates.
Uh, and that's thanks to all their deductions, too.
They had a slew of deductions, which Obama wants to take away.
They paid a 27% tax rate, even though the top rate right now is 35%.
No leadership, of course.
Uh, no effort to even come close to paying 35%.
And if Obama gets his way, the top rate's gonna be at least 39 or 39.6.
The Bidens paid only 23% on their income of $380,000 a year.
And there's an interesting, this guy Baldwin, William Baldwin at Forbes has written a somewhat scathing piece about about Biden as income isn't all that hot for somebody his age.
And he also points out that Biden, what is he of uh $30,019 in mortgage interest deductions?
He's 68 years old.
Mr. William Baldwin points out most people this age already they own their house outright.
They're not still paying on it.
They're saving for retirement.
This is really weird.
It bite me and his wife are still making significant payments on their domicile.
Also, their charitable donations.
5,350.
Well, that's total.
I think it's.
Let's just give him $5,350 in charity, up from $389 before he became vice president, $389.
But it still is a uh pittance.
It's like one percent of his income in charity.
But don't you know these are the people that care?
These are the people that have all of the compassion, far more compassion, uh, much more compassion than uh any of uh any of I. Uh no, Charles Manson on the political spectrum in the equivalent of Barbara Boxer.
Snerdley was asking me to give a name equivalent.
You people, sometimes maybe auto wire.
So you can hear what I go through to do this program.
Hear the questions I am asked, even while I am uh conducting the program.
Well, who he's always, these people are always trying to incite me.
You know, they're trying to bait me.
They're trying to get me to tweak the media.
I got a couple of media.
How does media tweak?
In the spirit of Operation Chaos.
I'd just like to remind all of you Donald Trump fans out there.
Media's out to destroy.
Well, it's interesting.
Some in the media are out to destroy, but Savannah Guthrie at NBC loves him.
Oh, we got audio sound bites to show you on all this.
Um Diane Sawyer.
George Stephanopoulos told Diane Sawyer that Trump said that he would go take the Iraqi oil fields by force.
We go in there, we liberate Iraq.
They've got a large supply of oil.
Why should we give it to anybody else?
Why should we not have it?
To the victor goes the spoils.
We should claim the Iraqi oil fields.
What the hell?
We've spent a lot of money going in there.
We've lost some lives.
What the hell?
So Stephanopoulos told Diane Sawyer, Trump said this, and Diane Sawyer said, Really?
He said that by force.
He said, let me see if I can find that bite real quick.
It's I got a lot of them here.
So I'm assuming I'm getting some help in finding this up at uh broadcast central.
We're still going through it here.
Yeah, I think it's gonna be uh looks like number 17.
Audio soundbite number 17 after Stephanopoulos' report on Trump suggesting that we go in there and just take the Iraqi oil fields.
We're owed this.
Why should anybody else bid on them?
Why should we give that oil to anybody else given our circumstances?
So Stephanopoulos is explaining all this to Diane Sawyer, good morning America, and she just can't believe it.
So he's going to do this by force?
Well, that's what he says, but that would of course take thousands and thousands of U.S. troops for many, many years.
He's going to do this by force.
Look recycling.
I'll bet you Trump could be convinced to recycle garbage while taking the Iraqi oil fields by force.
Anyway, where was I?
Where was I?
Oh.
Media tweak.
Media tweak.
Uh uh in the in the spirit of uh Operation Chaos.
Just like to remind all of you Trump fans out there that if you really want a macho candidate with a big mouth, big hair, massive cojones.
You can always support Hillary.
You don't have to go Trump.
Charles Crowdhammer yesterday, uh, I think also Friday, he's on the local Washington public affairs show, inside Washington, outside Washington, I am Washington, whatever the name of the show is, and he said that Trump is the equivalent of Al Sharpton in the Republican Party.
And he said that again last night as a member of the Fox All-Stars on uh on the uh on the what is it six o'clock show with Brett Bear.
I forget the title of the show, special report with Brett Bear.
Uh Trump is the Republican version of Al Sharpton.
I Trump's known to be many things, but I that seems to be going a bit far.
I mean, Crowdhammer once said, don't forget that Obama was eloquent.
Uh, elegant.
Elegant.
Well, he's also incompetent.
Trump pays his taxes, too, doesn't he?
I don't think the IRS is chasing Trump around like he is Sharpton.
Here, by the way, this is this is Trump's quote on the Iraqi oil to Stephanopoulos.
George, let me explain something to you.
And we probably got it here in the soundbite roster.
I'll play it when we when we get to all this stuff later.
Hey, let me explain something to you, George.
We go into Iraq, we have spent thus far one and a half trillion dollars.
We could have rebuilt half the United States for that.
One and a half trillion dollars, and we're gonna then leave.
So in the old days, when you had a war, to the victor belong the spoils you go in, you win the war and you take it.
So Stefanoplas told that to Diane Sawyer, and she was.
It was she was aghast.
She's appalled.
By force.
Uh yeah, I that it's you know, an historical perspective, of course, um Trump is right, although that hasn't really been us.
We have liberated people.
We don't do a lot of conquering out there.
And of course, one of the problems that we have, I think the United States is um as uh now the lone superpower in the world, but we're not long for that uh the longer Obama stays in the Oval Office.
But we uh handcuff ourselves in the interests of being fair.
As the lone superpower, we walk around with a perpetual state of guilt.
And since we're in a lone superpower and theoretically the richest nation on earth, so we go and we save the Iraqis, we save their oil, we save the but we don't keep the oil.
No, we've got enough.
We are the big bad mighty United States for the oil, let's leave it to the lesser peoples of the world, because of course we have uh only uh achieved what we have and own what we have because we've stolen it from people in the first place.
So I I think we handcuff ourselves in uh in this matter.
We made in in the case of uh Iraq and its oil, we went out of our way.
This is the Bush people that did this.
We went out of our way to open up bidding to everybody but us.
Uh this uh, you know, you want to show magnanimity.
Uh you don't want to be a bully, uh, even though that's what we're accused of being.
And this is bothers me.
It bothers me that we have to run around the world and have this attitude about ourselves.
We have the why do we have to feel guilty?
What what do we have to feel guilty about?
What did we ever do other than liberate, elevate, help out.
I mean, we we've got nothing, as far as I'm concerned, to feel guilty about as a country.
That's why it bothers so many of us when our president runs around the first year he's elected and starts apologizing for us.
So we handcuff ourselves, we punish ourselves, we make things more difficult for ourselves.
Uh but we we need not do it.
We do it because this is the characteristic of a superpower, and we go out of our way to prove that our critics are wrong.
But as I say, we're not conquerors.
You know, we after World War II, we didn't claim we own it.
We didn't say, okay, Germany, you're ours.
We didn't say France, you're ours.
We didn't say any of that.
What did we do?
Marshall Plan.
We gave them untold amounts of money and let them rebuild.
That's just who we are.
The Victor go the spoils business, that's that's that's true in the case of many countries and throughout uh a lot of history.
But not us.
Okay, now, as I mentioned, Obama, where was he?
Was it the um Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale.
Let me just give you one soundbite of this.
This audio sumbite number 24, I think we can squeeze this in just to set the stage because there's more of this to come.
This is not because we want to punish success.
I suspect there are a bunch of young people in this gym that are going to end up being wealthy, and that's good.
But we are going to have to ask everybody to sacrifice, and if we're asking community colleges to sacrifice, if we're asking people who are going to see potentially fewer services in their neighborhoods, then we can ask millionaires and billionaires to make a little sacrifice.
I'll tell you what I'm not going to do.
We're not going to reduce the deficit by sacrificing investments in our infrastructure.
When are you going to start?
We're not going to allow our roads and our bridges to grow more and more congested while places like China are building new roads and new airports and thousands of miles of high-speed rail.
This is idiocy, folks.
It is incompetent idiocy.
And I will detail why I describe it that way and have much more of this.
Isn't that exciting?
We get back.
I'm going to try to get to your phone calls in this half hour, ladies and gentlemen.
Try to get in there a little earlier than normal.
Just because it looks like we have a good board, full roster, as it were.
Now back to this soundlight uh sound bite.
This this is Obama is explaining the deficit and how he's going to reduce it to the students at Northern Virginia Community College.
And I looked at it and and throughout most of the speech, this audience, a mixed audience sitting behind Obama, and that's always put together and assembled, structured in a certain way to make it look like a diverse audience, that is America.
There was even a guy wearing a doctor's coat sitting in the back or look like a doctor's uh white coat, lab coat.
And for most of the time, they had a vacant look.
Wouldn't you agree with this, snurdly?
They had a vacant look on their face.
Like they weren't really paying much attention.
And then he would come to um one or two areas where they obviously got jazzed at money for education or bashing the rich, that millionaires sacrificing more, and they would they would come to life.
But even when they came to life, you know, Obama was rambling.
It was, it was, it was, it was sort of mindless twaddle that was coming out of his mouth like this.
So we're we don't want to punish success.
The hell you don't.
The whole point of redistribution is based on the successful don't deserve it because they've done nothing to earn it.
They have been lucky.
And more than that, they've been lucky probably by cheating.
The people that don't have as much as they do.
So he said, this is not because we want to punish success.
Hell they don't.
They damn well do.
It's one of the leftist credos.
Punish achievement.
He said, I suspect that a bunch of young people in this gym, they're gonna end up being wealthy, and that's good.
We're gonna have to ask everybody to sacrifice.
And if we're asking community colleges to sacrifice, if we're asking people who are going to see potentially fewer services in their neighborhoods, why why are they gonna see fewer services in their neighborhoods?
And as to this community college, I wonder how many donations, contributions or whatever it gets from the public.
I wonder how many people already are.
This in fact, this whole word sacrifice here, these people divine sacrifice as you allowing us to take your money.
Well, Obama had a chance.
We just saw his tax returns.
He had a chance to not pay take any deductions.
He had a chance to pay the full 35% tax, and he didn't.
He didn't do any sacrificing.
Whoever did his taxes went in there, took advantage of every option that Obama had, the same thing would bite me.
But Obama was at uh one of them paid 23%, the other paid 27.
I forget which.
Obama paid 27%.
But this whole this whole idea, if the community college is gonna sacrifice, and we're gonna have uh fewer services in neighborhoods that we can ask millionaires and billionaires to make a little sacrifice.
That whole premise offends me.
Because it assumes that millionaires and billionaires are greedy, selfish, under themselves giving nothing away.
Where would this community college be without the community of wealthy people that live in it?
More than likely.
But even without that, just this assumption, this whole class envy business, it's being ratcheted up now.
As we move forward into this campaign, the presidential campaign of 2012, and I'm telling you, nothing good comes from it.
All it does is breed resentment and hatred for people.
You know, it used to be.
We've got there's a uh story in the stack of stuff.
It's a poll here on how here it is.
AP.
Listen to this.
AP conducted a poll of young Americans between 18 and 24, which clearly would encompass the age of the students at this community college where Obama went.
And the poll found many of these students, young people, define the American dream as life getting better for each new generation.
But they now think that's a myth.
That their own lives improving is not a reality.
Their own lives getting better than their parents, it's a myth.
Forty percent think it's going to be harder to raise a family and have the lifestyle they desire.
75% believe that they'll have a tougher time than their parents and think the current economy is in poor shape.
A very high number are worried about their parents' financial condition as well.
And that worry is driven by fear as well as love.
Half these youngsters remain dependent on their parents.
They can't, they can't yet stand on their own two feet.
The future looks decidedly gloomy for a lot of American youth.
Can you blame them?
Look at what they're subjected to in their classrooms and on television every day.
Now, AP did not make this uh important link in reporting or poll, but these are the same kids.
These same kids who are looking at the future and seeing not much of one, are the same kids that went out and voted for Obama and the Democrats in droves in 2008.
These were the kids waving the Obama signs and making the pro-Obama videos for social networks.
They were celebrating the end of the Bush era, whether they end up voting or not, that audience he was speaking to were the people who thought he was gonna be the guy that made their future rosy and happier than they had ever dreamed.
These were the kids that bought in to the Hope and Change mantra.
They drank the Obama Messiah Kool-Aid, and they did it in one big gulp.
So it's three years later now.
And according to a poll of these people, they have diminished economic prospects.
They're still dependent on their parents, and they think the American dream is a myth.
So they got the change, but there's not a whole lot of hope here.
But see, all is not lost.
The American dream is bigger than Obama.
His a one term failed Obama presidency could be the biggest teachable moment in generations.
Now we're gonna need a very active opposition party helping to make that claim.
But here's Obama out now, and he's what is he doing?
Here are these kids, he just told them.
Some of you, some of you probably gonna be wealthy someday.
What?
That's good.
And then he spends the rest of the sound by telling them how they're targets.
Yep, well, we some of you are gonna be rich, some are gonna be wealthy.
Not for long after we get through with you.
Well, that's what he's saying, and then decide China.
Over and over.
What have what happened to all of our infrastructure rebuilding?
We had a nearly one trillion dollar porculus bill to do just that.
We now know that was a money laundering bill for unions at the state and local level.
That's all it was.
It was an Obama slush fund.
The stimulus bill was nothing more than a pile of money to keep state unionized government people employed while everybody else was losing their jobs during the recession.
There wasn't one new road bill.
All that infrastructure stuff.
He has the audacity to come out and say, look at what the Chicoms are doing.
They're building airports.
They're building roads.
Well, we allocated nearly a trillion dollars to it.
We haven't built one highway.
We haven't rebuilt one school.
By the way, did you note that Obama in his soundbite here did not mention also all of the prisons, all of the gulags and other forms of punishment that the Chinese are building.
Obama does not also mention that the Chicons have in jail the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize winner.
And Obama didn't tell these kids that he hosted a state dinner for the head SHICOM Hu Jintau.
Obama himself a peace prize winner.
He got his prize on the comm.
Of course, where is the peace out there?
There isn't any peace.
It hasn't broken.
None of what anybody was promised, particularly these kids.
The idealistic ones.
You can't blame them.
They're the ones that uh always believe in a message that's tailored to them.
They're young.
Everything's about you when you're young.
Everything's me, me, me, me, me.
And you can see the way they responded today.
Government spending education, yay, standing ovation.
Rip into big oil.
Yay, standing ovation.
Talk about clean energy and so forth.
Yay, standing ovation.
Well, not there wasn't one standing ovation, but still lots of applause.
One more uh bite here, maybe a couple more before the brain of this, this is absurd this next.
This this is a willful and purposeful distortion of Paul Ryan's budget plans regarding Medicare and Medicaid.
What would happen under this proposal is you'd get a set amount of money.
You could then go out onto the private marketplace and buy insurance, but if the voucher you were getting was for six or seven thousand dollars, and the insurance company said it's gonna cost you twelve thousand dollars.
Well, you're gonna have to make up that difference.
So your health care costs keep on going up and up and up.
The voucher doesn't.
Each year, more and more costs coming out of pocket.
Now, I think that is the wrong way to go.
That would fundamentally change Medicare as we know it.
And I'm not I'm not gonna sign up for that.
Right.
No, there's no way uh in Obamaville that anybody's gonna pay for anything of their own.
They don't know anything about Medicare.
They're applauding the concept, snurly.
This is the trick.
They're applauding the concept that health care is going to be paid for by the state.
They think it's a right.
They've been subjected, they're not intellectually developed enough yet to understand what the guy's really talking about.
Throws out these numbers.
Um, they know there's a state, government, what have you.
Well, no, they don't know that they are the state.
They don't know that the they don't know that they're paying for themselves.
But what they're hearing Obama say is that somebody else is gonna pay for it.
There's a duty for some nobody should have to pay for their health care.
That's what they hear Obama saying.
Yep, yep, right on, right on, right on.
And yet he spends all a lot of other time that's in total, how we got to get the deficit down.
I mean, it really is it's just it was it was unserious.
It wasn't elegant.
There was nothing in it that was that was accurate.
It was it was not presidential.
It was not inspiring.
I mean, it was it was it was a rambling mess.
And he would never even try this town hall to a bunch of adults other than union people.
Back after this.
Say, how many of you?
How many of you uh have a positive reaction when the president of the United States tells an audience of college kids or any other audience that we ought to be more like China?
No, seriously, how many of you go, Yeah, yeah, man, that's a ticket.
That's it.
That's what we need to do.
We need a more like China.
That's what he's doing.
Remember now, China's still building gulags.
They're still building prison camps.
And if you have the wrong religious beliefs, you better not get caught practicing them.
I've got an idea.
As you know, ladies and gentlemen, I, El Rushbo, am full of them.
Obama keeps talking about billionaires and millionaires.
That they've got to sacrifice.
It's just, it's uh not right what they do, who they are, how they operate.
So how about this?
How about Obama announced today that he will no longer accept donations from any of the people he plans to raise taxes on?
Anyone who makes $250,000 or more, anybody who needs to be sacrificing, the people who aren't sacrificing and who need to be, by definition, those are the people who make $250,000.
That would encompass millionaires and billionaires, but also it would encompass a lot of people who aren't millionaires and billionaires.
But that's who he's going to punish.
Those are the people not sacrificing enough.
250 grand and up.
So let's just say, Mr. President, you no longer will accept donations from these people.
Because they don't represent American values.
They don't send the right message to a young people in this country.
They've got too much money.
And they don't share it enough, and they're not sacrificed.
They don't give enough of it away.
So how about you stop taking political donations from these people?
How many people that own dry cleaners, restaurants, gas stations, which net over $250,000 a year are millionaires and billionaires.
He continually talks about raising taxes on millionaires and billionaires when he really means individuals who make over $250,000 a year.
And that's couples, individuals who make over $200.
So what is this billionaire millionaire mantra?
You don't have to be a millionaire to be in this guy's crosshairs.
All you have to do as an individual is make $200,000, or as a couple make $250, and you have a bullseye painted on the front and back of your shirt.
Now you're going to have to make up the difference in cost.
You, you students, healthcare, you hear it, you have to make up the difference in cost in a federal subsidy.
Obama is saying that's unfair.
Paul Ryan yet's up a the government should pay for everything.
When it comes to health care, that's what these students believe.
It's only fair because the government's not them.
The government's not their neighbors.
The government is not tax-referred.
They don't understand it yet.
And I I had to mention this to Trump, and I have to I'll mention this.
I don't care how many times Ryan is talking about future Medicare recipients, not current or soon to be.
Nobody has proposed current Medicare recipients that we change the rules in the middle of the game while they are in the receiving mode.
That's not gonna happen.
It's gonna happen years out with sufficient time for people to plan for it.
But it can't go on like this anymore.
Total subsidizing of health care, retirement, whatever.
It can't go on.
There isn't the money for it.
Obama doesn't have the courage to tell these young skulls full of mush that Medicare won't even exist when they become of age.
He leaves that part out of his propaganda.
This is an illustration of how liberalism is a gutless choice.
It's the easiest choice that you can make.
All you gotta do is go up and pamper pander and demagogue and propagandize like Obama does.
He doesn't tell these young students that it is they who are paying for these programs today.
And it is they who will have no Medicare when they are of age.
So Obama's going out there to this community college.
He is lying to these students.
He's lying to the youths of America just as he insists on compelling them to pay for something they will never benefit from.
Listen to him.
This is Bernie Madoff.
This is not Barack Obama.
This is Bernie Madoff.
And he's selling a lie over and over and over again.
