The views expressed by the host on this program are now documented to be almost always right.
99.6% of the time.
All right, folks, we are back.
Great to have you here.
Telephone number 800, 282-2882, the email address El Rushbo at EIBnet.com.
Said they're trying as hard as they can.
They're trying as hard as they can to make Carl Palladino out to be a nutcase wacko.
When in fact, really all Palladino said was, when are you going to start going after Cuomo's private life?
You got your cameras looking in my daughter's bedroom window.
When are you going to start going after Cuomo?
Which is exactly what a lot of us say about the media all the time.
Now, here we're going after Meg Whitman on this illegal made business.
Let's not forget here, the head of the IRS at the time, little Timmy Geithner, had an illegal alien working as a nanny for his family for years.
And he never paid any Social Security or FICA tax or any of the required taxes for her.
And in fact, when we found out he hadn't paid his own federal income taxes, because it was a turbo tax error, what were we told?
Well, I mean, we have to look past this.
Everybody makes these kinds of mistakes.
Minor little miscalculation.
There's only one man.
There's only one man in America who can shepherd our country through the bailouts and the type.
Only one man smart enough to translate all of this gumbo that you can make it so that the country will be safe.
Only one man capable.
And that's a little nerdy-looking Timmy Geithner.
So we'll look past the fact that he had a nanny untaxed.
Illegal.
We'll look past he cheated on his own taxes because he was so important.
He was so crucial.
And now here comes Meg Whitman.
I've got no brief from Meg Whitman.
I mean, don't misunderstand, but here comes now phony trumped up little thing about a nanny, illegal nanny, or what have you.
Meanwhile, people in California are about to be priced out of health insurance.
The economy is south.
There aren't any jobs.
Obama has destroyed us.
And we're supposed to think bad things about Carl Palladino and Meg Whitman.
Well, no longer, folks.
It's not going to work this way anymore.
The American people, in increasing numbers, are simply not going to play the game according to the old rules.
Didn't Meg Whitman do everything she was supposed to do under our laws?
If she had done more, wouldn't she have been guilty of the hate crime of profiling?
You know, when you're a Republican, I don't care if you're a rhino.
I don't care if you're a liberal Republican.
When you're running against a Democrat, they're going to destroy you no matter what.
McCain, great example.
They'll find anything they can.
In the meantime, the country is literally being destroyed.
And this time, the American people are saying, hey, a little sense of proportion here.
We want to save this place for our kids and our grandkids.
And if Carl Palladino wants to do that, we're with him.
And if you want to try to take out Republicans on the basis of things you give Democrats a pass for, like nannies and not paying taxes, by saying the country can't afford to not have Timmy Geithner and fine.
I'm not going to play by your own rules anymore.
And the ruling class is having trouble coming to grips with this, as is, I might say, the rest of the state-controlled media who have been used to setting the agenda, writing the narratives and the templates, with not only no objection, but actually compliance on the part of Republican opponents.
Arnold Allert, Jewish World Review, Why Democrats Are Going Down in November.
Now, it's a long piece, but he breaks down every category of liberal problems and then has a synopsis here at the end.
Let me summarize this.
Unless something totally unforeseen occurs, Democrats are poised to take a real beating.
In fact, Dick Morris, the last two days, has been writing that this is going to be unprecedented.
We haven't seen this kind of defeat since the 20s.
He thinks the Democrats could lose upwards of 70 seats in the House.
Dick Morris is saying it's already done.
The Republicans will take over the House and the Senate.
Dick Morris is saying this in his written pieces out there.
So unless something totally unforeseen occurs, Democrats are poised to take a real beating in November.
Their response to the impending disasters run the gamut.
Nancy Pelosi is in denial.
John Kerry is condescending.
Obama is angry.
Why is the electorate ready to kick Democrats to the curb?
Here's why.
An unstimulated economy, the original mother of all stimulus packages, $787 billion quickly grew to an astounding $865 billion, and it still wasn't enough.
And they've kept coming back for more.
Nothing has been stimulated other than the Democrat Party, the health care bill, the absolute epitome of ideological public be damned arrogance, a horrendous compendium of bribes, exploding bureaucracy, runaway costs, written in secret, unread by those who passed it.
It includes a mandate likely unconstitutional forcing people to buy health insurance or pay a fine.
The same administration which originally claimed the commerce clause of the Constitution made such a fine possible is now saying the federal government's power to tax justifies it.
Irrelevant.
60% of Americans want this monstrosity repealed, ASAP, and they haven't forgotten it.
The Democrats are counting on getting this thing passed.
Pelosi's saying, you're going to like it once we read it, and you're only going to be able to read it and find out what's in it after it's passed.
And once that happens, everybody's going to like it, and then they're going to forget about it.
Hadn't happened.
Witness our call in the previous hour.
People are very much aware what's happening to the cost of their health care.
And they're very much aware how they've been lied to by the president.
Their premiums are going to go down $2,500 a year.
You're going to be able to keep your doctor.
All of these scare tactics were simply Republican lies.
Turns out they weren't lies.
The lies were from Obama, the Democrats.
The opposition was telling the truth.
The federal lawsuit against the state of Arizona, again, arrogance.
Despite all the hectoring from Democrats and the Obama administration about racist this, xenophobic that, fair-minded Americans recognized four things.
People have a right to protect their life and property.
And if the federal government can't or won't do it, they have a right to do it themselves.
The idea that anybody opposing the rights of illegal aliens is a bigot is nonsense on stilts.
The ruling class in Washington is holding genuine border control hostage to comprehensive reform.
The glaring double standard of suing Arizona for violating a federal immigration statute, even as the feds turn a blind eye to hundreds of sanctuary cities, is unquestionably in conflict with federal law.
The demonization of the Tea Party movement.
Take your pick.
Teabaggers, racists, angry white men, fringe elements, bigots, astroturfers.
Democrats and the media have tried every one, and every one has been a miserable failure for one simple reason.
Decent Americans know they're decent.
And getting insulted by Democrats running the country into the ground has only affirmed and stiffened their resolve.
A hopelessly compromised media is another reason the Democrats are going down.
Air America tanked.
CNN is tanking.
ABC, NBC, CBS news programs have been shedding viewers at historically unprecedented rates.
Even as Fox and the Wall Street Journal prosper.
I wonder if it occurs to either Democrats or their media water carriers that a majority of Americans may savor whacking both the Democrats and the media in November.
And I think that's exactly right.
Because the vote against Democrats in November is also a vote against the fake media.
The question is, how much do they realize it?
I know they're aware of it.
Are they in denial?
They're saying it's temporary.
Do they understand the degree to which they and the Democrats are blamed for the lack of fairness, the bias, the lack of bipartisanship, and the destruction of the country?
Another is the Ground Zero mosque, yet another reminder of the contempt liberals and their media enablers have for ordinary Americans who had the temerity to allow their feelings to be known on this.
The complete disconnect between the first family and ordinary Americans, the golfing, the soires, the high-priced vacations, have created the perception that we're living through another let-em-eat cake moment in history.
On Tuesday, the president called the public schools in Washington a struggling system.
It doesn't measure up to the needs of First Daughters, Sasha and Malia.
Those would be the same public schools Congressional Democrats tossed 3,300 low-income kids back into when they killed funding for vouchers that had freed those kids from D.C.'s educational ghetto.
The First Lady is hectoring Americans to eat healthier.
Maybe more Americans would if they could afford to.
Then there is the War on Terror, a politically correct contingency operation against unnamed insurgents with a specific drawdown date, i.e. Afghanistan.
Democrats once again prove that all the talk about Afghanistan being the good war was complete rubbish.
Czars and nationalization, the regime and congressional Democrats may bristle when Americans call them socialists.
But the nationalization of banks, car and insurance companies, student loans, health care sure isn't free market capitalism, and neither is wiping out oil jobs in Louisiana with a government-mandated ban on offshore drilling.
All of these things the public remember.
They are living them daily.
And of course, unexceptional America.
Progressives have a contempt for the values and traditions which make this the greatest country on earth, and they can no longer disguise it.
The American people do not want a president who happily presides over a nation in decline.
If, and the Democrats are famous for this.
And so is Obama.
If they're going to ask people to sacrifice, there better be a good reason for it.
Obama is demanding we sacrifice because we need to be punished.
We have destroyed the world.
We are in the process of destroying with global warming.
We have been colonialists.
We have been oppressors.
We've been imperialists.
We have stolen resources.
We have enslaved people.
This is Obama and the Democrats' view of this country.
This country is always guilty.
So it's time to pay the price.
They have a grudge against this country, and it's time for us, the people who are to blame, to pay the price for all of the unjust immorality that has been this country.
And so we must now sacrifice.
No longer will the American people lead the world economically.
Those days are over.
Quote, President of the United States, Imam Obama.
Well, the American people don't want to live in a country in decline, and they don't think they deserve to be punished.
The American people will sacrifice if there's an upside down the road.
If there is, they'll sacrifice for the good of the country.
They're not going to sacrifice for the good of Democrats.
They will not sacrifice for the good of Obama.
The American people are fed up with every news story being looked at through the prism of, how does this affect Obama?
How will this affect the Democrats?
How will the unemployment numbers affect Obama?
These latest numbers on consumer confidence.
What does that mean for the election?
The American people don't care what it means for Obama.
The American people understand Obama doesn't mean anything good for the country.
The American people care what it means for them.
And under this regime, there's not much good.
Unknown to the majority of Americans, this precise mindset was part of the financial reform bill, which requires banks to lend a certain percentage of money to minority-owned businesses, even if it means lowering their lending standards.
Apparently, progressives, liberals won't be satisfied with their odious social engineering schemes until every sector of the American economy bears a striking resemblance to the housing sector.
So far, Americans support financial reform because it's been framed as Main Street versus Wall Street, but it's not.
Like every other initiative undertaken by this Congress and this regime, it's the elevation of irresponsible and dishonest Americans over those willing to accept the consequences of their own behavior.
That's exactly right.
And when Americans understand this, they'll be even angrier at the Democrats.
So there you have it.
Democrats, Democrat control for four years in Congress and two in the White House have been exactly what many predicted, an ideologically driven disaster of ethic proportions.
For years, liberals obfuscated their true intentions because even they knew most Americans could not stomach them.
You see why I like this piece?
Because it is a virtual rehash of the principal beliefs of I, your host, on this program.
And it's showing up more and more throughout the American population.
The elections of 06 and 08 changed everything.
Liberals bought into their own hype, believing they'd pulled off a multi-generational transformation of the American mindset.
As a result, they've shown Americans their true colors, unbridled arrogance, utter contempt for the average citizen's intellect, and a ham-fisted never-let a crisis go-to-waste determination to bend the electorate to their will, using government as a club.
That's why they're going down in November.
And the most satisfying aspect of the whole scenario is this, despite every attempt they've made to blame anyone and everyone else for their problems, they have brought it on themselves.
They have illustrated finally exactly who they are.
And their belief that the American people are too stupid and ignorant to A, notice all this and B, remember it will be their downfall.
And the evidence continues to roll in at assertions like this, made by, of course, me, and here, Mr. Allert, are right on the money and may in fact be understating the gravity of the situation for the Democrat Party.
Half my brain tied behind my back as I serve humanity simply by being here.
Rushman Baugh, this is Brian in Albany.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Make it, Rush.
Thanks.
I just wanted to give you, I'm here in Albany, New York.
I wanted to give your national listeners a field report and what it's like here on the ground in Albany and confirm a lot of what you said about the Paladino Fred Dicker confrontation yesterday is true.
I think what's going on is we're so used to fake and lying politicians being asked questions by a corrupt and incompetent press corps that when we get a legitimate candidate asked a legitimate question from a legitimate reporter, we're not quite sure how to take it.
We are not.
Who are you talking about, Palladino?
Not sure how to take Palladino?
Palladino, he's legitimate.
Well, the situation, the event that occurred, that, you know, Palladino is a legitimate candidate.
He's said you're not quite sure how to take it, yet I thought you said it.
You agreed with my analysis of it.
No, no, no.
I'm sorry.
Not me personally.
I don't know how to.
People.
Me, you know, the press.
Oh, I know.
Yeah, not myself.
I think people get.
We're not used to seeing this.
You know, we're used to having either the reporter be incompetent or the politician to be a sleaze bag.
And that's not the case here on either side.
We got a legit candidate.
We got a legit reporter.
And he's asking a legitimate question.
And, you know, it didn't go smoothly, but it went.
And I think some people, I mean, you're not confused.
I'm not confused.
But I hear a lot of people discussing this up here in Albany.
And people aren't too sure how to take that.
I mean, there's a lot of people here that are fans of Paladino.
We got, you know, pretty strong for an upstate, excuse me, a Northeast liberal state.
We got a pretty strong Tea Party movement up here.
I mean, Palladino, he won his primary against Lazio 2-1.
Right.
And the polls had him, that's another thing.
The polls had him at a dead even race going into the primary, and he busted out 2-1.
So the polls going into this governor's race are, I don't know how to take those sometimes.
All right.
Well, look, Brian, I appreciate the call.
Thanks so very much.
You know, Greta Van Sustrin asked me the other night what I thought of the Pledge for America, folks.
And I told her it's fine.
It's a good starting point.
But you know what?
She did not ask me about Heritage Foundation Solutions for America plan.
That came out a leaked bunch of weeks earlier, and many of you have gotten your hands on a copy of that already because I suggested that you do it.
Heritage Foundation is still making their plan available to everybody who wants to read it.
It's good stuff.
It is a solid plan for economic recovery.
And the idea of the Heritage Foundation people come up with based purely on conservative ideals right out of the Constitution.
Cut the corporate tax rate, reduce government involvement in commercial decision-making, reining in runaway spending, all the deficits, freeing our businesses of red tape, unleashing our natural resources to meet our energy needs.
Very simple.
It reads like the audience thinks.
It reads just like you think.
Now, the Solutions for America plan still up on their website, askheritage.org.
So is a video from their fearless leader, Ed Fuller, describing it.
If you have not logged on to askheritage.org in a couple of weeks' time, do it right now.
This is where they've got those ever-changing quiz questions, true or false, to test your knowledge.
It's where you can also get the solutions for America, and it's free.
Great organization, folks.
Heritage Foundation.
Easy for all of you to become members.
Askheritage.org.
Barney Frank says he has been targeted by right-wing media.
That's why he's in trouble.
In his re-election bid, Washington, D.C., a Washington Times reporter, Carrie Pickett, interviewed Barney Frank.
Question article that just came out saying that this is your toughest race in 20 years.
You have any concerns right now, Congressman Frank?
Tough race, because once I became champion committee in 2007, the right-wing media took co-hosts decided to target me.
I've had Hannity and Limbaugh and Beck basically say things about me that weren't true.
And if people say things aren't true over time, they don't respond, then it has an impact.
There's been this kind of targeting of me by the way.
There's only one thing wrong with this.
By the way, we got strange wacko audio quality today, but were you able to hear what Barney said?
You're right.
Okay.
Now, there's one thing wrong with this.
Barney is in a, what, 99% Democrat district.
And the person running against him is a Democrat.
Am I not correct?
Or at least a votes Democrat, under what party.
But the point is, I don't care what Barney thinks, but whatever it is I'm saying or Hannity's saying about him is not having an effect on people in his district.
It's what he's doing.
Barney, let me tell you who's bringing you down, pal.
You and Obama and your party.
I mean, there's no question we have been nailing Barney as a central figure at the front of the subprime mortgage problem.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
We've been making fun of Barney Frank for 20 years.
We've had Barney Frank parody after Barney Frank parody for 20 years.
I mean, we've had a Barney Frank update for 20 years called My Boy Lollipop.
Sung by Millie Small.
And now all of a sudden, 20 years after all this, now he's in trouble because of what we've been doing on this program.
It's a convenient thing.
Blame Fox.
Blame conservative talk radio.
But that's not the problem.
The problem is the Democrats are in trouble because of who they are.
The Democrats are in trouble because of what they are doing.
And Democrats are in trouble because of what they have done.
The Democrats are in trouble because what people now know they want to do more of.
The Democrats are in trouble because of who they are.
It's that simple.
If his opponent used to be a Democrat, look at I, ladies and gentlemen, if what I said about Barney Frank was going to harm his electoral chances, it'd have happened 20 years ago.
The fact that Barney Frank is in a race alone, who cares why, gives you an indication of just how volatile this whole election season is for them.
In fact, I got it wrong a moment ago.
I said, Dick Morris actually is saying Republicans are going to win 100 seats in the House.
Barney Frank had been elevated by the left-wing media for years.
Barney Frank has been portrayed as one of the smartest, most brilliant.
He's never faced a tough question.
He's one of these guys, the Democrat media, the left-wing media loves him.
Yeah, we did the Banking Queen update.
Grab my boy Lollipop.
I assure you, here, here's, we've been using this, our Barney Frank update theme for 20 years, ladies and gentlemen.
Here, here's, we've been using this, our Barney Frank update theme for 20 years, ladies and gentlemen.
Hey, that's our Barney Frank update theme.
My boy Lollipop.
And now he's a banking queen.
Now he's, I mean, there's no question he's banking queen.
Life is hard.
Life is tough.
And isn't it just typical these people run around and blame me for the problems that they're in when they need to just look at themselves?
I want to go back to this McDonald's business for just a second.
We went back to our archives for a brilliant audio soundbite.
Fort Myers, Florida, February 10th, 2009, not long after Obama had been emaculated, he had a town meeting in Fort Myers.
Now, the news today is the McDonald's may drop their health insurance for 30,000 hourly employees.
Who knew?
Who knew that McDonald's hourly employees had health care?
McDonald's is denying it.
The White House is denying it, but it's still being talked about.
And McDonald's has never ever talked about dropping their health care prior to Obama.
Nobody talked about dropping health care coverage to this extent, anywhere near this extent, prior to Obamacare being passed.
So at this prior, at this town meeting in Fort Myers in 2009, February 10th, here's an exchange between Julio, who worked at McDonald's, and he was thrilled to have Obama in town.
Oh, this is such a blessing to see you, Mr. President.
Thank you for taking time out of your day.
Oh, gracious God.
Thank you so much.
All right.
What's the question?
All right, Mr. President.
My name is Julio Asegueda.
I'm currently a student at Edison State College in my second semester.
And, okay, I've been at the same job, which is McDonald's for four and a half years because of the fact that I can't find another job.
Now, with the fact that I've been there for as long as I've been there, do you have any plan or any idea of making one that has been there for a long time receive any better benefits than what they've already received?
All right, isn't this not great?
So February 2009, Julio shows up.
Oh, my God.
Oh, gracious God.
Thank you so much for showing up.
Do you have a plan to help me get more benefits?
I've been to McDonald's.
I can't get a job anywhere else.
You have a plan to help me get more benefits.
And less than a year and a half later, poor Julio, he's still there because of, oh, gracious God, glad you're here.
Now faces possibly the loss of one of his benefits at healthcare at McDonald's, and that would be healthcare.
This is the same town hall meeting where Henrietta Hughes asked Obama for a house.
Kitchen, I think.
Henrietta Hughes asked Obama for a kitchen, new kitchen.
And it turns out, I guess, Obama's not so gracious after all.
Because poor Julio, Julio Azequeda, been in McDonald's four and a half years because he can't find a job anywhere else.
Asks Obama to do something about the benefits.
And Obama came through.
There aren't going to be any more.
Back after this.
You know what Obama said to Julio Azcueda?
What are you going to do?
Gracious God.
Oh, gracious God.
Yeah.
Oh, I've been working on McDonald's for 45 years.
I can't get a job anywhere else.
What are you going to do to increase benefits?
Oh, gracious God.
Obama said, I assume that you're getting health care through your job.
So one of the things we want to do is reform the health care system so you'll have access to health care in your job.
That's what Obama said to Julio Escuedo.
And now Julio, if he's still there, is facing the possibility after a year and a half of Obama of no health care at his job.
Obama said he was going to improve the guy's health care.
Here's Steve in Bakersfield, California.
Great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Hello, Rush.
Great to speak with you again.
Regarding this uproar over Meg Whitman's maid, now that she is a self-confessed illegal alien who used fraudulent documents, does not Jerry Brown, as the chief law enforcement officer of the state of California, have an obligation to prosecute her?
Now, this is an interesting take.
Here you have an illegal coming forth, admitting she's illegal, and somehow blaming Meg Whitman for it.
She goes against Gloria Allred.
They have a press conference.
Guess what?
I was fired.
I was fired.
I worked for Meg Whitman for nine years as an illegal immigrant.
Now, you would think that Jerry Brown, well, it's time to prosecute.
Great, great point, Steve.
Thank you very much.
But it ain't going to happen.
I know.
As you well know.
I know.
But it's a brilliant point.
I haven't seen that anywhere.
That is a brilliant, brilliant point.
I was wondering why I hadn't seen it.
Well, it's so obvious.
Well, it is, but it isn't.
A lot of people look at it that way.
Judy in Binghamton, New York, great to have you on the EIB network.
Hi, Rush.
I want to tell you, you said that you have not met Carl Palladino.
I have.
I've met him a couple of different times.
I've spoken to him.
And that man is so for real.
He is New York's Chris Christie.
And if he gets elected governor, he is going to turn this state around so fast.
I was just watching during the break, Andrea Mitchell, NBC Neil, was in Washington, and she had on one of the editors of the Politico, John Harris.
And they were talking about this dust-up that Palladino had with Fred Dicker.
And it was just, you would have loved it, Judy.
It was classic.
You could have written the script.
They were talking about how wacko a candidate he is.
It's a circus up there.
This is so unseemly.
It's just, it's just, when are we going to get to the real issues of the campaign?
When are people going to realize that this is just a circus?
It's got to, it's embarrassing, and this stuff has to straighten.
It's just typical.
Absolutely typical.
These people, you know what?
I actually think they do know what's coming their way.
You know they know it.
What I'm going to be fascinated to see, it will be interesting.
Let's say that this shellacking happens pretty much as it's thought to happen.
Let's say it is anywhere from 55 to 70 seats.
The next day, you know, normally what they say is Republicans had a temper tantrum, the voters had a temper tantrum.
What are they going to say?
What will the analysis be?
Will they blame Palin?
Will they blame Talk Radio?
Will they blame the Tea Party?
Well, I know all of the above.
But at one point, see, here's the thing, the difference is, let's say, in a hypothetical skill, let's say that I wake up one day and I discover that a third of my audience is gone.
Now, that's not going to happen.
But if it did, the first thing I would ask myself is, what am I doing wrong?
What have I forgotten?
What am I taking for granted?
Or what I would never blame the audience.
I would never, well, those people just don't realize.
They don't realize how good they've got it in me.
They don't realize how—they'll see.
They go listen to other shows and they'll be disappointed.
That's what the Democrats are going to do.
The Democrats will blame you, blame the voters, and they'll say somehow that all of this extremism found in the Tea Party and the Republican Party surfaced at the same time.
It was a tsunami of extremism based on racism, stoked by Limbaugh and Fox News and all the others.
It's going to be fascinating to watch because they know they're governing against the will of the people and they're proud of it.
They're happy about it.
They know, ladies and gentlemen, that they are a ruling minority.
And you just wait.
If this shellacking happens to the extent that the experts are predicting that it will, what will happen is that they will come back in this lame duck session and they will try to ram all kinds of stuff down everybody's throat.
Everything in the world.
They'll just say, okay, you reject us, fine.
Try this tax increase.
Try this, try that.
They'll do everything they can.
Scorched earth.
You watch.
They're probably planning that even as we speak.
Lynn and Troy, Ohio, welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program.
Great to have you here.
Well, great to talk to you, Russ.
The one major blunder I think Obama has made, other than all the failed policies and so forth, is I think he underestimated the American people and the spirit of America.
I think, you know, he just thought there wouldn't be any repercussions or people just go along.
And he should have remembered as a result of 9-11, how the people in our country, you know, got together and became stronger.
Well, do you think Obama's sitting there thinking that America still looks at him as the Messiah?
Well, I don't know, probably, but I don't think he thought the people would react and be as strong as the growth of the Tea Party and realizing that we need to, you know, get our country back.
I think he underestimated us.
I think he thought we wouldn't really pay that much attention or that he was for us and was going to do all these things.
You may be right.
I believe Obama thinks that everybody hates America as much as he does.
When you have a characteristic, a personality as narcissistic as Obama, believe me, if you're not a narcissist, you have to study the concept to understand narcissists.
And they are living in a dream world.
They live and construct their own reality that's devoid of common sense and true reality.
One of the reasons Obama behaves as he does is because he thinks that everybody feels the same way as he does about things.
This country's guilty, that it has been racist and sexist and bigoted and homophobic and it's been colonial, imperialistic, that it's immoral and unjust.
And the thing is, he is correct in the sense that 30% of the country does agree with him.
The Democrat Party, the hard left, do look at America that way.
Maybe even more.
The enemies of America have successfully infiltrated many of our institutions.
I mean, we don't breed communists and Marxists here.
They're taught.
They're educated or they are imported.
This country, throughout its history, did not teach communism.
It did not teach Marxism in the sense that it tried to convert people to it.
I mean, people were educated about Marx.
Communism, but it was bad.
It was a rotten thing.
Communism was horrible.
It used to be, you were a communist, you had to live in the shadows.
There used to be a House on American Activities Committee.
The House on American Activities now takes place on Fox News, according to Obama.
