Now it is August, Snerdley.
I mean, not a whole lot going on.
There's a live bullying summit on C-SPAN, a live bullying summit.

The Department of Education has a bullying summit.
Who are the participants in the bullying summit?
I don't care enough to go look.
I have to host a program.
I uh a bullying, a bullying seminar on C-SPAN, hosted by the Department of Education right now.

The uh Florida Attorney General Bill McCullum and a group of state lawmakers today have decided to uh introduce an immigration bill modeled after Arizona's law.
Only they claim it's gonna have a better shot of withstanding a court challenge.
The state of Florida is going to introduce an immigration law even tougher or better than Arizona's.
Florida.
Bill McCollum, he's a former member of Congress.
What's going to happen out there is that Obama and Eric Holder are now gonna have to sue Bill McCollum in the state of Florida.
Depending on how this uh how this all shakes out.
Well, if he wakes a ruling on what isn't in the bill, that doesn't matter.
I mean, we're talking about the Obama Department of Justice.
They make rulings all the time on what isn't in the Constitution.
So what isn't in the bill doesn't matter.
You know, I want to go back this this uh uh Ayesha Taylor, just the latest in a long line of people, to come out and charge me and Fox News and every critic of Obama as a racist or the new term racialist.
Now in the urban dictionary, a racialist is somebody comfortable with their racism.
Well, that cannot possibly be me, because I'm not a racist.
NAACP is racialist.
They're the ones that have a racial theory.
I don't have a racial theory.
But isn't it amazing, folks, that most of those using and playing the race car today are very well off.
Either by income or by position.
They're very well off.
Part of the ruling class, upper middle class, academia, Hollywood, the people throwing around this accusation, all come from the upper tier of either income or position, and they align themselves with groups and people who reject policies that would create wealth and growth that would help everybody, regardless of race.
This is the thing that's never ceased to amaze me.
I can tell you that everybody I know in the conservatives of the vast majority of conservatives worldwide want economic prosperity for everybody.
We want great education for everybody.
We want everybody to have the opportunity to become the best they can be.
We want a great country.
And it's these people, our opponents, who reject policies that would create wealth and growth that would help everybody.
It's these people that support policies like Obama's that will make people poorer, that will destroy the creation of wealth, that will redistribute wealth.
That will destroy Americans' exceptionalism, all the upper crust, be it income or position, Hollywood, academia, you name it, all these so-called ruling class types, smartest people in the world, are actually supporting policies that will dumb down the United States and make the country poorer.
The left controls the government, the left controls the public schools, colleges and Hollywood, and they are still complaining.
They're still not happy.
Look at everything they control, and everything they control they're destroying.
Everything they control, they are literally tearing to shreds.
Public education, the government.
Everything they control doesn't work.
Better stated, nothing they control works.
Doesn't work for the people, works for them, but it does not work for the people, does not work by design.
Does not work as they claim to want it to work.
And when it doesn't work, what do they do?
Blame everybody, they blame the victims because it doesn't work.
or they blame the fact there isn't enough money or what have you.
But it's always the upper crust.
It's always these people of privilege in one way or another who are always throwing out this accusation of racism, now racialism.
And it's always people on the left doing this.
And we know why.
They're trying to stifle argument and disagreement.
They're trying to intimidate and shut people down, pure and simple.
And of course, as we all know, it doesn't work here on the EIB network.
There is another brilliant piece by Fawad Ajami in the Wall Street Journal today.
He is a professor at the John Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford.
Let me just give you a couple pull quotes from this piece by Fawada Jomi in the Wall Street Journal today.
As big as Reagan's mandate was in two elections, the man was never bigger than his country.
There was never narcissism or a bloated sense of personal destiny in Reagan.
He glorified in the country.
He drew sustenance from the country's heroic deeds and its capacity for recovery.
No political class rode with him to power, anxious to lay its hands on the nation's treasure, eager to supplant the forces of the market with its own economic preferences.
Another quote, slowly the nation has recovered its poise.
There is a widespread sense of unstated embarrassment that a political majority, if only for a moment, fell for the promise of an untested redeemer.
A belief alien to the temperament of this so practical and sober a nation.
It is a pounding, poundingly great peace.
It tears Obama and his administration and the ruling class, a new one.
I love this first quote.
Reagan's mandate in two elections.
The man was never bigger than his country.
Obama in his own mind is bigger than the world.
There was never narcissism or a bloated sense of personal destiny in Reagan.
As in this is my destiny.
This was I was meant to be.
Reagan glorified in the country.
He drew sustenance from the country's heroic deeds and the country's capacity for recovery.
No political class rode with him to power, anxious to lay hands on the nation's treasure.
As they have ridden to power with Obama, laying their hands on every aspect of this country, grabbing it for themselves, for the express purpose of stealing it and destroying it.
No political class rode with Reagan to power, eager to supplant the forces of the market with its own economic preferences.
But it has happened with Obama.
And again, slowly the nation's recovered its poise.
There's a widespread sense of unstated embarrassment that a political majority, if only for a moment, fell for the promise of an untested redeemer, a narcissist, of bloated sense of personal destiny, bigger than the country.
A belief alien to the temperament of this so practical and sober a nation.
Obama's fall from political grace has been as swift as his rise a handful of years ago.
He had been hot political property in 2006 and of course in 2008.
But now he'll campaign for his party's 2010 candidates from afar, holding fundraisers but not hitting the campaign trail in most of the contested races.
Those mass rallies of Obama frenzy are surely of the past.
The vaunted Obama economic stimulus has failed.
Mr. Obama could protest that his swift and sudden fall from grace is no fault of his.
He'd been a blank slate, and the devotees had projected onto him their hope and dreams.
His victory had not been the triumph of policies he had enunciated in great detail.
He had never run anything in his entire life.
He had a scant public record.
But oddly, this worked to his advantage.
If he was going to begin the world anew, it was better than he knew little about the machinery of government.
For Wada Jami, there's much more.
It's in the Wall Street Journal today, but I have to take a brief time out.
You get a taste of it.
Hard-hitte, brilliant to the core.
And back to the phones we go.
Uh wait.
To the phones.
To the phones we go.
We're going to start in uh Chama, New Mexico.
This is Dave.
Great to have you on the program.
Hello, sir.
Hello, Rush.
I'm wondering why this Obama is being touted as so big when all he did was win against another Democrat.
He has all of his cronies a couple of days ago.
He pays off all of these union cronies for the November election.
He could have took that twenty-six billion and turned it over to a voucher program where these kids would get an education.
And then he has a uh a GMC plant built in Mexico and a battery plant in Korea.
Right.
I I love uh the auto workers.
I I wonder how they love this.
Well, um, it's a lot to chew on here.
Uh as far as Colorado is concerned, it's again, it's the media, and of course Tim Kane, the I. Uh Democrat National Committee Chairman, all's right with the world.
Now, hey, we're got we got the Moe now.
We got Damo because our guy, it was historic last night, folks.
If you if you haven't heard, let me give you some breaking news.
For the first time in the history of the United States, a sitting president endorsed an incumbent Senate candidate who won.
This is historic.
We're told by the politico and uh the Democrat National Committee today, this is historic.
And this it hasn't happened before.
That's how it's being treated.
This means everything's cool for the Democrat Party.
Never mind the fact the opponent was endorsed by Clinton, never mind that the guy endorsed by Obama was essentially running against Obama, against big government, against spending, running as a non-liberal as a Democrat,
and never mind the fact that the historic winner, the first incumbent, I mean, it's the way I'm reading it, the first incumbent to ever win, having been endorsed by a sitting president, says he does not want that sitting president to campaign for him in the real election in November.
And yet, the Democrat Party and the partisan controlled media is having a big party today.
They have rebounded.
As for uh stimulus money and and uh Obama funding vouchers for education, Obama ended a voucher program for minority kids in Washington, where they were able to attend a private school, same private school that his kids go to when they're not in Spain or off at summer camp.
Obama wants teachers in inner city schools that are pathetic to have jobs.
That's more important because kids don't vote.
The teachers do.
The kids will eventually vote because they're not going to have anything other than what they get from government.
Now, I don't know, will this Mexican plant be union?
Where Obama's gonna build some GM cars, will it be a union plant, UAW?
I don't know.
I'm not sure, I doubt it.
Does the UA UAW have a local in South Korea where the battery for the vault is going to be made?
And remember, I had to issue a rare correction yesterday, folks.
I am so rarely wrong.
I mean, my accuracy rating I'm documented to be almost always right, 99.6% of the time.
And I made a mistake yesterday.
I was talking about the fact that government workers don't produce anything.
And I irritated a lot of government workers in the defense department.
I later smoothed that over.
But I was wrong when I said that government workers don't make anything.
Government workers make the Chevrolet vault.
Batteries made in North Korea, parts made in Mexico, and uh who knows wherever else, subsidies to buy the vault from Obama and uh and Washington.
John in Norfolk, Virginia, great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Uh, yeah, Russ, how are you doing?
Very well, sir.
Uh, I just got a base.
I just want to know will we ever get back to the point where we just legislate calmly across the board?
I mean, uh the founding fathers.
I mean, the thing that's separated us from so many different nations is our ability to govern in the civil manner.
And I think we've we seem to have lost that.
We seem to be uh governing to specific groups of people and specific interests, and I and I just want to know does will it will it ever get back to I mean, will we just basically govern for the people or we will we always just be a nation divided, which it seems that we are right now.
You are singing my song.
I so hope that this country would reach that day.
I have hoped for it all my life.
I would I would love the day to come where legislation or anything, political discourse had nothing to do with the way people look, sexual orientation or gender, what have you, but the problem is we have a Democrat Party that is made up of constituencies, and they are groups, and they're special interests, and they all have grievances, John.
The Democrat Party is the politics of grievance.
A lot of people who now know they made a mistake voting for Barack Obama.
A lot of people were white, laden with guilt, thinking this would bring about the rosy scenario you just described.
America could finally demonstrate to itself and to the world that it had shed its racist, racialist slave past.
How?
By electing the first black man to be president.
Many white Americans thought this would wipe the slate clean.
This would end all the discussion of them being racists.
And what's happened?
What's happened is precisely what I predicted would happen.
More allegations of racism, more racial tension, more racial discord.
The reason it happens, John, is that people make a pretty good living off of it.
There is an industry.
And the people that work in this industry make a big living and have a lot of fame and a lot of notoriety by promulgating the notion that racism exists and in fact is getting worse.
You know the names.
They are the Reverend Jack, Al Sharpton, the MAALCP, the Congressional Black Caucus.
In fact, I would say it's a Democrat Party, and I was just discussing the upper crust of Hollywood, the upper crust of education, academia, the ruling class, Hollywood, these the people of wealth are the dividers.
On the left, these are the people that keep the country royal and divided.
These, and I predicted it, any criticism of Obama, legitimate criticism on the basis of policy, will be dismissed as racist.
And that's what's happening.
And now you have these very people saying an entire television network is racist.
Fox.
An entire radio network, the EIB network, is racist.
So yeah, we'd love to get away from this.
Love to get back to where people are people.
It's the Democrat Party and the American left that will never ever be able to join us.
Rushlin bought talent on lawn from God.
And this is the most listened-to radio talk show in the country, uh, Harry Reed, a racialist.
Yesterday in Las Vegas at an event to launch a program that'll teach English to Spanish-speaking immigrants.
And by the way, Dingy Harry has doubled down on this.
He has confirmed that he meant this.
I don't know how anyone of Hispanic Heritage could be a Republican.
Okay?
Do I need to say more?
Ever heard of Marco Rubio?
Anyway, that's Harry Reid, the Democrat Senate majority leader.
I don't know how any one of Hispanic heritage could be a republican.
I tell you the real difference.
The difference between the real world and government.
And it's back to the Chevrolet vault that I erred yesterday, said their federal workers don't make anything.
They do.
They manufacture the vault.
If the Chevrolet vault does not sell, nobody will lose their job because of it.
Instead, the rest of us will be taxed to pour even more money into it.
Because Obama will not be allowed to fail.
The vault is Obama.
I mean, he didn't originate the thing.
It predates Obama's arrival, but he has put his stamp on it.
The vault is the signal, is the sign of Obama's future, a future Obama wants.
If it doesn't sell, we're going to be taxed to spend even more money on this thing to make it look like it has succeeded.
The reason that it's not market-oriented is directed by political forces who embrace a failed economic plan.
In the private sector, if you come up with a multi-billion dollar lemon, you suffer the consequences.
You go out of business.
You lose your job, you declare bankruptcy, and blah, blah, blah, blah.
And the government keeps some of that money.
They keep trying to force their way.
The private sector recoupes, rearranges, rearranges, changes course, and responds to the market.
Now the Democrat Party and race baiters can never change.
We can sit here and dream about it.
But they can never acknowledge that this is a wonderful country, where racism is the exception, Not the rule.
They will never, the left, the Democrat Party, folks, this president will never acknowledge that this is a great country.
Will never acknowledge the whole concept of American exceptionalism.
To do otherwise would be to destroy themselves.
Because it would destroy their very purpose for existing.
Their purpose for existing is to tear down this country.
And you can't tear something down if you're going to praise it.
If you're going to believe in its greatness, think about that.
If you believe in something's greatness, you will not tear it down.
You won't want to try to change it.
They do not like this country.
This is the hardest thing people have to come to accept.
It's the hardest thing for people to believe.
But over time, more and more people are going to not be able to run away from this.
Ask yourself a question.
A guy called me and said, Mr. Limbaugh, when will it all be over?
When when will when will people start looking at each other?
Racial divide.
Ask yourself a question.
What could we do to satisfy Jesse Jackson?
What could we do to satisfy Al Sharpton?
What could we do to satisfy Benjamin Jealous, who runs the NAA LCP?
What could we do to satisfy Maxine Waters?
What could we do to satisfy Calypso Lewis?
Come on, somebody tell me.
What can we do to satisfy the race baiters?
What could we do, even if we fully and totally laid down and agreed with them?
They'd not stop.
They wouldn't accept it.
They would accuse us of lying.
They have to keep racial flames burning.
So they can keep making money.
It's their way of life.
So they can continue to keep people divided.
It's their route to wealth.
Just ask yourself, what could you do?
Any of us do to satisfy any liberal black leader.
What could we do to satisfy any liberal white leader who's calling us racist?
What can we do?
In fact, it is taking the bait to try to prove to them each and every day that we're not.
That's accepting the premise.
That's going on defense.
Oh, I got to show them we're not racist.
No, we don't.
We have to show them anything.
Because there's nothing we can show them.
There's no action we could take.
There's not a single thing we could do to satisfy Jesse Jackson.
Nothing.
I don't care what.
Leave the country?
No way.
There are going to be conservative blacks who remain and they're still going to crip.
Ain't gonna happen.
They live and breathe.
Their very existence requires division, animosity, and angst.
It requires the perception.
It requires just the allegation of racism.
No substance is necessary.
All they have to do is accuse somebody of it, and it's there.
It's existing.
They can make money out of it, and they can wield power.
Meanwhile, people of all colors and varieties continue to rush to our borders, seeking to come here legally and illegally because they know the truth.
That this is a country that's tolerant and loving.
It's a country of great opportunity.
What could we do to satisfy liberals who call us racists is like asking how high is up?
How low is low?
It doesn't stop.
Now, if you look at it that way, you might say, well, Rush, that's pretty depressing.
I mean, uh nothing we can do to satisfy.
Yeah, that's time to face reality, folks.
What could you do to satisfy Ted Kennedy ever?
Was Ted Kennedy ever satisfied?
Was they ever happy?
Well, I'm talking policy.
Happy hour, yeah, but I mean policy.
Is he ever happy?
Are any of them ever happy?
Are any of them ever satisfied?
I know General Motors wanted to kill the vote.
Obama made them do it.
So it is his signature on it.
And I'm telling you, folks, it won't be allowed to fail.
You watch whatever amount of chicanery, tax dollars, lying sales figures, giveaways, whatever it takes to make that car a success is what's going to happen.
Major, major difference from the way things happen in the private sector.
Did you know that the Republican running against Harry Reed's son for governor is Hispanic?
And Harry Reed says, I don't know how any Hispanic can ever be a Republican.
Well, I'll tell you.
Let me let me answer that.
I don't know how a real man could ever be a liberal.
Rush Limbaugh, EIB Network, back after this.
The answer is you can't satisfy them.
And the objective is not to satisfy them.
This is why I've always folks through on my entire star-studded broadcast career.
I have had people on my team in my orb.
Rush, you've got to you gotta do something to show those people they're wrong.
No, there's nothing I could do.
I can't show them wrong.
They don't care whether they're right or wrong.
My purpose is not satisfy these people.
These people aren't better than I am.
These people are the problem.
I'm not.
I'm the solution.
You can't satisfy these people.
They are to be defeated.
Isn't that what frustrates us about so many ruling class Republicans?
Republicans refuse to look at Democrats as people that need to be defeated.
They look at them as people with whom we need to make accommodations like McCain.
That's right, that's Franklin Boy.
I could have crushed the aisle.
I'm the one that can work with people.
We don't want that.
If anybody ought to know they can't be satisfied to be John McCain.
If anybody ought to know they can't be satisfied, it should be Lindsay Gramnesty.
But yet they still seek the validation of their enemies.
Well, I don't.
I'm never gonna seek the validation, my enemies, and I'm never going to assign superior status to people who are in fact inferior to me and us.
Yeah, it was Brian Sandoval, who is Reed's opponent, or Reed's son's opponent for governor out there.
He's the Republican, and he was the first Hispanic U.S. district judge.
Brian Sandoval.
And his Harry Reed.
I I don't know how any Hispanic could be a Republican.
And the odd thing is he's not the one embarrassed about his last name.
Rory Reed is the guy running in Nevada who has to hide his last name.
Rory Reed is the guy that doesn't want anybody to know what his last name is.
Brian Sandoval is happy.
An Hispanic Republican for all the voters to know who he is.
Do you know just how quickly the Heritage Foundation's researchers started publishing details of the latest bailout bill from the House yesterday?
It was minutes.
That's how long.
You are going to get the full download from us here on the EIB network, and my expert commentary makes sense of it all, but I know that you're well educated informed enough to want to read and hold on to the information for yourself, and that's where the Heritage Foundation becomes invaluable.
So if you want the details of how the government is determined to bail out Medicaid one more time, or the government union bailout with respect to the teaching profession, Heritage Foundation's gonna serve that information your way.
It's right there at AskHeritage.org.
All you have to do is become a member.
I am.
It's easy.

It's what your membership enables Heritage to do, by the way.
So it's a mutual benefit society.
Ask Heritage Online.
It's there, AskHeritage.org.
It's a gold mine for you, folks, and it's there for the taking.
I have a couple sound bites here that just once again, if you've ever doubted me.
If you have ever thought Russia may be a little over the line on this.
Such as when I said these people wanted the disaster in the oil spill.
They wanted it.
I know there were people in the audience.
Rush, even if it's true, don't say it.
You know how often this happens to me.
I will say something like that, something that nobody else has the guts to say or doesn't want to say.
And I'll have, say, uh, people write me emails.
Rush, this was the day I finally convinced people who hate your guts to listen to you, and you have to go say something extreme like that.
You do you you wanted Obama to fail.
Here I tell people how wonderful you are and how they misunderstand you, and then you go and say you want Obama to fail, or they want the oil spill.
I can't tell you how often that happens to me.
They've worked years and years to get their spouse, their parents, their kids, or whatever it is, a good friend.
Finally try to cut through the mud and listen to me.
And then I say something like, they want the disaster.
Well, last night, PBS, Charlie Rose, interviewed the deputy editor of the Bloomberg Business Week magazine, the author of the climate war, Eric Pooley.
During a conversation about the Gulf Oil spill, Charlie Rose says after BP President Obama made a speech in Pittsburgh, basically said this gives us an opportunity now to go full bore ahead.
That was a thrilling moment for people in the climate and clean energy community.
It looked like he was going to fight.
But then when he came to the Oval Office address, he didn't do it.
In fact, you know what he said, Charlie?
He said, we don't know exactly how we're gonna get there.
That's a direct quote.
Here's this expert uh uh uh Eric Pooley, author of the climate war.
It was a thrilling moment for people in the climate and clean energy community, the oil spill.
A thrilling moment.
Thrilling moment.
They wanted Obama to go ahead and essentially shut the Pentagon.
Get rid of the oil business.
And to much criticism, this is what I said that July 13th this year on this show.
Here you have the oil spill, and these people want us to believe they care about the environment.
And they care about the communities being affected, and they care about the fishermen and the industries that are being uh wiped out because of the spill.
We've we really care for these businesses, a horrible agenda.
No, they love this disaster.
They hope it'll advance their anti-America, anti-environmentalist agenda or pro-environmentalist agenda, and then they see BP as a giant pile of money that they can run in and grab, and that's what this is.
And the guy on Charlie Rose last night pretty much confirmed what I already knew.
How about all those people put out of work in the Gulf by Obama's drilling moratorium?
Many of them are minorities, by the way.
And that's thrilling.
A thrilling moment, that disaster, which, by the way, wasn't the UK Daily Mail on Sunday, a 10-page story on how it wasn't a disaster.
They can't find the oil.
My friends, there are pearls of wisdom, and then there's me.
That's the way you have to look at this program.
It's the way you have to look at me, your host.
There's pearls of wisdom, and there's me.
And there are perils of wisdom.
You have to take one with the other.
Where does Tony Hayward go to get his reputation back?
The BP, CEO, he said the same thing.
He said, Look, there's not a disaster here.
All that water in the Gulf is going to be unaffected by this amount of oil.
Even through August, until we can cap with these relief wells.
Where does he go to get his reputation back?
I may friends am mind over chatter.
To the phones quickly.
Dave in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Mega dittos rush from the cheesehead land of America.
Just got a quick question for you.
Yeah.
Um, this sudden criticism.
You know, I'm always suspicious when uh Democrats, particularly liberal Democrats, Uh start criticizing each other because there's uh unwritten rule, never speak ill of another Democrat.
I wish Republicans would do that, but um they uh when they suddenly start uh going after uh President Obama, I'm not wondering if the White House is not sending out back channel communications to start doing this, so he'll appear more centrist and more uh palatable to the people come election time.
I don't think this is a strategy.
I think this is founded in reality.
It's election year.
And the Democrats know they're governing against the will of the people.
They know it.
But the Democrats believe that most voters don't start paying attention to elections until August or September.
So now they are going to start saying things that represent the majority thinking in the country.
It's all phony.
It's not a White House-led strategy.
The Democrats have been doing this.
It's called lying.
And they've been doing it since there was a Democrat Party.
As to the last caller, why do we always think that there's some brilliant strategy that we can't see coming from the White House?
They're always smarter than we are.
They always a step ahead of us.
Folks, there's no plot here from the White House to get Democrats to sound like Republicans.
The Democrats are imploding and the rats are jumping ship.
There's nothing complicated about this, and there's nothing clever about it.
They see the poll numbers.
There's not a poll anywhere that shows the Democrats not getting crushed at some level.
They know it.
They're trying to prevent that from happening.
They don't need to have a secret meeting to have this attitude.
