Time Text
And welcome back, Rushland Boy and the EIB Network.
Here we are, my friends, on the cutting edge of societal evolution.
And I am happy to be with you as we continue to try to stop the insanity and the madness that's out there.
Here's a telephone number if you want to be on the program, 800-282-2882.
And the email address, lrushmo at eibnet.com.
I was watching in Sterdley's office, Al Gore being interviewed by Andrew Mitchell.
Andrew Mitchell, NBC News, Washington.
And he's out there telling some of the biggest whoppers.
He says that the Arctic ice cap is melting and will soon be gone.
I mean, I don't know where the universe of lies just continues to expand.
He's out there saying global warming, climate change is as much a part of life as gravity is.
There's no questioning it.
I think these guys actually are in panic.
They're still human beings, and in the privacy of their own lives and existence, when they get behind closed doors, they know they've got a huge problem.
Their ace in the hole, they think, is Barack Hussein Obama.
That's what they think, because they think Obama's going to be able to make the United States take the lead in this.
And by the way, you know, the EPA yesterday, you understand what's happening in this country.
The EPA blackmailing elected officials, representatives of the people.
The EPA essentially saying, if you don't pass cap and trade, we're going to unilaterally implement it because the Supreme Court gave us the power to.
So if you don't do it, we will.
So we have a bureaucracy, a government agency led by an Obamaite, Lisa Jackson, who's basically telling the elected representatives of the people, if you don't do it, we're going to do it.
Democracy be damned.
Representative Republic be damned.
Democratic process be damned.
All of this is happening right before our very eyes.
And once the United States takes the lead on declining its own progress, the rest of the world is going to take the hint.
And we are going to be the only advanced civilization in the world to purposely harm ourselves.
That's what this is leading to.
We will be the only advanced civilization in the world to willingly roll back its progress for the express purpose of seeing to it that the wealth of this nation is extracted and then transferred to places around the world because the Reverend Wright certainly believes this is an unjust, unfair, immoral country.
And I do not believe Obama did not hear a word he said in 20 years in Pew.
We know that Obama's mentor, his father, his educators are all from the Blame America first crowd.
That's what he's been taught.
And they're going to make this happen come hell or high water.
And Al Gore is going to profit financially like you can't believe if this stuff ever does go down officially.
One more question about health care before we move on.
Snerdley, can you tell me what our strategy to defeat health care is in the Senate?
You can't?
Well, I can't either.
I don't think anyone can.
The only reason there's any resistance to this right now among Democrats, the only reason that there are not 60 votes in the Senate is because of us, conservatives outside of Congress, have been pounding the hell out of this.
No thanks to the leadership, which that election has devastated them.
They were crippled, impotent.
And when that happens, I guess, to an elected official and you suffer a defeat like that, you probably think, oh my gosh, what do I have to do to make those voters like me again?
Why did they throw me out?
Why did they throw us out?
And so you think you've got to curry.
And the way the Democrats have set this up over the years, it's the partisan bickering that voters don't like.
The independents just run to the Democrat Party at the first moment of Republican criticism of a Democrat.
And they can't, oh, so these people buy into the notion, the premise set by the left, that we have to be nicer, that we're too mean, and that's why people don't vote for us.
Which, of course, is BS.
The Independents are fleeing the Democrats right now.
The Republicans haven't said a word.
So we end up surrendering our principles and policies in order to pander to this group or that group, the Hispanic caucus or whatever it is we're trying to not offend.
But I'm telling you, the only reason that they don't have their 60 votes yet is because conservatives outside of Congress have been pounding the hell out of this.
And then there's this from today's Washington Post.
An only too delighted Washington Post, by the way, the Transportation Security Administration inadvertently revealed closely guarded secrets related to airport passenger screening practices when it posted online this spring a document as part of a contract solicitation.
And the TSA confirmed this yesterday.
The 93-page Transportation Security Administration operating manual details procedures for screening passengers and checked baggage, such as technical settings used by x-ray machines and exclosive detectors.
It also includes pictures of credentials used by members of Congress, the CIA and their employees, federal air marshals.
It identifies 12 countries whose passport holders are automatically subjected to additional security.
Current and former security officials call the breach troubling.
Yeah, troubling.
What's his name?
Tom Dashnell kept saying he was concerned.
He was concerned.
Yeah, the breach is troubling, saying it exposed TSA practices that were implemented after 9-11 and expanded after August 2006.
The original version of the manual is still available online, preserved by websites that monitor government secrecy and computer security, even though the government's taken their version of it down.
Among the most disturbing disclosures concern the settings used to test and operate metal detectors.
For instance, officers are instructed to discontinue use of an x-ray system if it cannot detect 24-gauge wire.
The manual, well, now if you know this, you know how to beat that.
The manual also describes when to allow certain firearms past the checkpoint and when police, fire, or emergency personnel may bypass screening.
It also says that passport holders from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, and Algeria should face additional screening.
It is.
This is a virtual roadmap to how to get through U.S. security at airports.
It's a roadmap of how to do it.
Of course, that last line, I predict to you that that last line, passport holders from Cuba, Iran, blah, blah, blah.
That's what will get them in the most trouble in our politically correct world.
That will be said to be profiling and racist and anti-certain religion and anti-certain ethnicity.
That's what will get them in most trouble.
You watch from our corrupt, cockeyed PC people, But what an unmitigated disaster.
This is Every day.
It's something.
Every day is an unmitigated disaster.
The original version of the manual still available online, preserved by websites that monitor government secrecy and computer security, which tells you all you need to know about the motives of these sites, such as the so-called watchdogs at the Federation of American Scientists.
And by the way, I read the whole Washington Post story.
the Washington POST is not calling for an investigation to look into how this happened.
How did information affecting our national security get leaked like this?
But the Washington Post wants to track down whoever it was that released those emails from the Climate Research Unit.
It's just amazing.
After all, the terrorists now know what they can and can't do to bypass security.
But it would seem that finding out who is behind this is not nearly as vital to the Washington Post as tracking down this archvillain behind the email release at the Climate Research Unit.
Quick time out, folks.
We'll be back and start squeezing some of your phone calls in right after this.
Global warming blizzard Al Gore is worsening, ladies and gentlemen.
We are going to name all winter storms in honor of global warming hoaxers this winter.
And the first named storm is Global Warming Blizzard Algore.
Snow removal trucks have been told to stand down now due to huge snow drifts on the roads.
Thousands of people are trapped in a huge winter blizzard two weeks before winter officially arrives.
During the week, the Copenhagen hoaxers gather to try to do something about global warming.
Back to Mark Penn and $6 million that he was given.
$6 million from the stimulus package.
Let's go back to me, November 12th, on this very program behind this very microphone.
What was created was two slush funds.
There are two piles of cash out there that everybody thinks is going to go to shovel-ready jobs and infrastructure and schools and putting people back to work and getting credit flowing again and buying up toxic assets.
And that's not what's happening.
How do you think they're buying off members of Congress to pass health care?
They got a stash of cash, folks.
It's Obama's stash.
Those people in Detroit, when asked where their money's coming from, from Obama, his stash.
It's exactly right.
They didn't know it, but it's exactly right.
This is one giant slush fund that this government is using to pay off.
They need the AMA, if they need the AARP, if they need an individual congressman, if they need to pay off a union, this is what they're doing.
It was appropriated under totally false pretenses after having created a crisis so that everybody would support the passage, lickety split, before anybody knew what was going on.
And now there's $200 billion left over in one of the slush funds, and Obama has appropriated that for ostensibly more job creation and so forth.
Do you remember, ladies and gentlemen, the rumored negotiations between Hillary and Obama at the end of the primary campaign?
It was said then that Hillary would support Obama if he would pay off her debts.
And we were told that her campaign debts ranged from $5 to $10 million that she owed Mark Penn.
Well, Shazam, look at what's happened.
Obama has paid off Hillary's debt to Mark Penn, which was something like $6 million, 5.7, I think is the exact amount, of stimulus money, money designed to create jobs in the private sector.
Burston Marceller, Burst and Marceller, is a giant worldwide PR firm.
They don't need to bail out.
They don't need any stimulus money.
But it was said, yeah, it was to preserve three jobs there.
In the end, even if there are a few wise, unwise projects, it's only a handful out of the over 50,000 projects that have been approved to date, said Liz Oxhorn, a White House spokeswoman, answering the question, what the hell?
$5 million, $6 million to Mark Penn?
Stimulus?
Well, you know, in the end, even if there are a few unwise projects, it's just a handful.
So they had to be discreet.
They had to wait a while before they actually made the payoff.
And, of course, Obama would use the taxpayers' money rather than his own or even that of his campaigns.
He's entitled.
He's the savior.
He's saving the country.
Look at the news that we have had today.
The TSA security manual, totally compromised, blown up all over the internet.
Continuing lies about global warming from Al Gore.
He's getting the temperature of the Earth's core wrong by millions of degrees.
He's an idiot.
He's an absolute doofus.
He says the polar ice caps are melting.
We had Reuters yesterday with a story about polar bears eating their own because of global warming, when everybody who knows polar bears knows that polar bears eat.
They're young for a variety of reasons and they're not the only animals that do that.
And now we got Harry Reed out there saying, oh yeah, we're really close to a deal in fact, we probably have the deal done when there's nowhere.
He's nowhere near close to a deal.
We had Diane Feinstein saying it is perfectly moral for the taxes of pro-life Americans to pay for insurance policies that will provide abortion.
And Obama is using your money, our money, taxpayer money, to pay off Hillary's campaign debt not his own campaign or not his money personally.
And then there's this, before we get to the phones, a House subcommittee has Approved legislation aimed at forcing college football to switch to a playoff system to determine a national champion.
And the sponsor is Joe Barton, a Republican from Texas, said the current Bowl Championship Series is unfair and won't change unless prompted by Congress.
Apparently, it's a priority.
Here's the heavens.
It's Associated Press, a state-controlled media house panel passes college football playoff bill.
To the phones.
Lori and Phoenix, thank you for waiting.
I appreciate your patience very much.
Hello.
Hi, I appreciate you taking my call.
You bet.
I just have a simple question that I've asked quite a few people and haven't gotten an answer.
And all it is, is if we are not going to be paying for a public option, if that's off the table, what exactly is it that we're going to be paying a trillion dollars for?
Well, that's a brilliant question, but there will be a public option.
This is all smoke and mirrors when they say they've got a deal here that eliminates it because it doesn't.
It sets up a government-supervised nonprofit insurance company to start selling this.
The answer to your question is found in the truth.
It's not a health care bill.
It is a massive expansion of government bill.
111, I think, new bureaucracies, 118 new bureaus are created.
It's a tax increase bill.
There are tax increases throughout this thing.
It is just an expansion of government for the purposes of redistribution of wealth.
And it's being said that it's a health care bill to improve the lives of the American people and provide more access to the health care system, the American people who are denied it.
It's all sham.
It's all a giant hoax, just like this climate change thing is.
And your question is, the question alone, even without the answer, is a brilliant illustration of that.
If there's not going to be a public option, like Harry Reid's saying today, then what the hell we need a trillion dollars for?
What are we spending it on?
So you didn't really answer me either, other than just more government.
Yeah.
Well, what do you think it is?
I have no idea.
I know that I pay for my health care.
I'm a breast cancer survivor.
My husband works two jobs so that we don't have to go under so that I can be taken care of.
And I look at the amount of money that they want to spend, and I think to myself, well, if it's really about taking care of the person like me who really needs to have some kind of help, wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to say, you know, these 13 or 25 or 30 million people that don't have coverage, let's just start a plan for them.
You know what?
With the $200 billion of unspent TARP money, you could insure the 30 million people who are uninsured who want it for four or five years.
And maybe more.
You could do it for, we've run the numbers on this, $28 to $30 billion a year.
So you can insure them for quite a while.
Now, your instincts on this are exactly right.
I am shocked and saddened, however, that you claim I didn't answer your question when I thought I brilliantly dove into it.
Well, you did on the surface, but it still doesn't tell me where the money's going.
If all it is is a bunch of new government programs, then how can they possibly call it a health care program?
It's not giving health care to people.
A health care program is a good idea.
But I can answer that.
I can answer that because they're leftists.
Because they're Democrats.
Liberals lie.
That's all you need to know anytime they tell you anything.
Hey, folks, everything's okay.
Everything's fine.
Janet Napolitano says that the individuals involved in putting the whole 93-page security procedure manual up on the internet have been dealt with.
The security of the flying public has never ever been compromised.
So everything's okay.
The terrorists know everything to do to avoid our security, but everything's okay, and the people involved have been dealt with.
We don't know who they are.
We don't know how they've been dealt with.
My guess is they're going to get the Congressional Medal of Honor or some presidential medal at some ceremony later on.
All right, here's Al Gore lying about the polar ice cap.
It is a total 150% lie.
With Andrea Mitchell today, she said, Sarah Palin, in an op-ed in the Washington Post, escalating attack on the Copenhagen summit, Palin calls it junk science and writes that the agenda-driven policies being pushed in Copenhagen will not change the weather.
Global warming deniers persist in this air of unreality.
After all, the entire North Polar ice cap, which has been there for most of the last 3 million years, is disappearing before our eyes.
40% is already gone.
The rest is expected to go completely within the next decade.
What do they think is causing this?
The mountain glaciers in every region of the world are melting, many of them at an accelerated rate, threatening drinking water supplies and agricultural water supplies.
I'm telling you, folks, every word of that is just a lie.
It's stunning.
Here's the comment where global warming, climate change, is like gravity.
Andrea Mitchell said, one of the things that Sarah Palin has written recently on Facebook is that this is doomsday scare tactics pushed by an environmental priesthood that makes the public feel like owning an SUV is a sin against the planet.
Well, the scientific community has worked very intensively for 20 years within this international process, and they now say the evidence is unequivocal.
150 years ago, this year, was the discovery that CO2 traps heat.
That is a principle in physics.
It's not a question of debate.
It's like gravity.
It exists.
I wonder if that's that tree, that Siberian tree, the one tree that scientists use.
There is no consensus.
There are more and more scientists are diverting from this and demanding an investigation into the science that was going on at the University of East Anglia climate research unit.
CO2 traps heat, the discovery 150 years ago.
The largest greenhouse gas on the planet is water vapor.
And by the way, do you know what creates water vapor in addition to things occurring naturally?
Well, the ocean does, but no, all these new state-of-the-art, green, save-the-planet, hydrogen-powered buses and vehicles emit water vapor, the largest greenhouse gas ever.
So these hoaxers are actually contributing more to the problem with their fixes, which is always what liberals do.
Every time they spot a problem that needs to be fixed, they worsen it.
But their intentions were honorable.
Do not question our results.
And now, Andrea Mitchell says, if it's so unequivocal, I have to ask you about the leaks of these emails.
Even today, Tom Friedman talks about them massaging the evidence.
Why would they feel the need to hype the evidence if it's so unequivocal?
I don't think they did.
I haven't read all the emails that were stolen.
They're from the most recent one, it's like 10 years ago.
And what they've done is they've snatched a few phrases completely out of context.
And I'll give you an example.
One of the oft-quoted phrases has to do with the scientists saying that a particular study isn't good science and shouldn't be included in the international report.
Well, that was their view.
They exchanged it privately.
The study was included, fully aired, discussed.
The weak points were analyzed, the other points were analyzed.
So it's an example of how these private exchanges have been blown out of proportion, taken out of context, and misrepresented.
Well, then, why did you cancel your big meeting over there at Copenhagen?
He was at a public meeting, and they were going to charge $1,000 to participants to have their photograph taken with Al Gore.
But he said the most recent email is 10 years ago.
The most recent email is last month.
The most recent email is last month, not 10 years ago.
There's an email from the AP science reporter, Seth Borenstein, asking for guidance from these hoaxers on how to deal with a legitimate scientific journal that says all this is bunk.
But the biggest Al Gore scientific faux pas occurred on November 12th.
He was on the tonight show at Conan O'Brien.
He was talking about the potential of geothermal energy.
Al Gore said that the Earth's temperature was several million degrees only a couple of kilometers down below our surface.
A couple of million degrees, a couple kilometers down from the Earth's surface.
Miners are deeper than that.
A couple, several million degrees.
The surface of the sun is only 6,000 degrees.
The surface of the sun, 6,000 degrees, and here's this champion, this paragon, this Nobel Prize winner.
The temperature, Earth's temperature, several million degrees, only a couple kilometers down.
I think we need to check Gore's other scientific claims and see if he's made any other factor of 1,000 errors or mistakes.
Okay, back to the phones.
Jeff in New York City, welcome to the EIB Network.
Hello.
Mr. Limbaugh.
Yeah.
Hi, I just wondered if you read the Daily Coast today.
I have not.
I never do.
Marcos, you know him?
Well, I know of him, yeah.
He's on Olberman all the time.
He's turning.
I don't watch that either.
Hello.
He's turned his back on Obama.
The Daily Coast has turned its back on Obama.
Yes, sir.
Over what?
Over this compromise health initiative.
And you take from this what?
I take from it that there's a real splintering among the lefties.
It's a true splintering, and I really think that their chances of winning further elections are going to be more slim as time goes on.
Well, let me make a wild guess since I don't read the Daily Coast.
I hear about it when people send me things on it, but I don't go there and I don't watch Olberman.
Right, I like to watch the opposition.
Yeah.
Oh, I don't, because I know what they're going to say before they say it.
And I'm one who tries to enjoy life as much as I can and not subject myself to stuff I already know.
That's what staff's for.
They paid well to watch that crap.
But anyway, let me take a wild guess.
The Daily Coast is all ticked off because they think Harry Reid's taking the public option out.
Is that right?
Well, let's see.
Yeah, that's part of it.
Yeah.
What's the other part of it?
He says, well, so what happened here was that President Obama sent him a letter, an email asking for $5 donations, and that set him off on a rant.
Oh, I've got that letter.
I've got that letter.
Obama did, and it's, oh, let me find this letter here.
It is from, here it is.
Here it is.
We.
We sign ourselves up to that website, Obama, it's infobarackobama.com.
They've got so many websites out of the White House.
But here's the letter.
See if it's the one.
As we head into the final stretch on health reform, big insurance company lobbyists and their partisan allies hope that their relentless attacks and millions of dollars can intimidate us into accepting a status quo.
So I have a message for them from all of us.
Not this time.
We've come too far.
We'll not turn back.
We'll not back down.
But do not doubt.
The opponents of reform will not rest.
So I need you, the members of Organizing for America, to fight alongside me.
We must continue to build out our campaign to spread the facts on the air and on the ground and to bring in more volunteers and to train them to join the fight.
I urgently need your help to keep organizing for America's 50-state movement for reform going strong.
Please donate $5 or whatever you can afford.
Is that the letter that they're all upset about out there?
Yeah, you want to hear Coase's response?
Why not?
Really?
Coas says, really?
Oh, first of all, he calls it idiocy.
Okay, then he says, really, all we have to do is send the DNC $5 and we get ponies?
The same DNC that is enabling corporatist Democrats to water down and destroy any hope for the health care reform, that DNC?
So freaking obnoxious, I can hardly stand it.
And he's then goes on at the end to say Democrats are demoralized and have little incentive to turn out next year.
Okay, look, now some of that is true.
Let me tackle this.
Democrat members of Congress are resigning.
Blue dogs are announcing their retirement.
They're not going to run for re-election.
The Democrats know that they are going to get a shellacking next November.
They also know that Obama doesn't care about them.
They know that to a T.
And here's Obama, the president of the United States, still acting as a community organizer, raising money for himself.
He doesn't, what probably ticks off these people is they've got the 60 votes.
Why do you need five bucks from me?
We elected you 60 Democrats.
Why do you need to keep asking us for money?
Now, where these guys like Coase are going off track is they should be happy.
They're going to get everything they want.
Reed is just saying the public option's gone because he has to say that in order.
He's four votes short, maybe five votes short.
But if you read it through, I find it fascinating while the left, this administration, the House leadership, the Senate leadership has done the best job of destroying this country's private sector that has ever been done, and still these kooks aren't happy.
I don't care.
If they're not happy and they drift away, let them form the third party then.
Let them form the Daily Coase party.
You know, and let them go out and do that.
But my gosh, if I were them And I really supported I'd be happy if my party was doing one-tenth for the country what the Democrat Party is doing to the country, I'd be ecstatic.
The fact that these guys on the far-left fringe kook base are unhappy is a very sobering thing.
Maybe they expected the private sector to be totally destroyed by now instead of next summer.
If they think if they think that the health care bill is being watered down, gosh, this is like the Soviets changing from Andropov to Khrushchev or whoever and thinking there's a big change coming.
I mean, there's whatever is happening with Reed and his healthcare, it's not being watered down.
It is an absolute unmitigated disaster.
All right, let's see.
What do I want to do?
Do I want to go to a phone call?
Do I want to do this?
Better do this.
There's another rally in Washington on the 15th of this month, Tuesday, December 15th, Code Red rally against Obama-Losikare and for freedom.
The conservative grassroots are mobilizing.
There is as much anger in America today over health care as there was back in August during the tea parties.
Now, the members of the House and members of the Senate are the Democrats are trying to act as though that anger has subsided, it has cooled down and so forth, and it hasn't.
It is still percolating.
And the frustration, the frustration over the lack of any strategy in the Senate to stop the Democrats is mobilizing the grassroots.
There are, I'm not going, I don't know who's going.
I don't think there's a single name involved in this.
It's just, it's at 1.30 in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 15th.
There are all kinds of groups coming together to try to put up just a huge number of Americans in Washington on December 15th to stop this, to illustrate in front of their eyes that only 38% of the American people support this.
52% and some polls, 60% oppose it.
And the frustration, as I say, is born of the fact that leadership in Congress is not doing much to stop this at all.
They're playing with it on the margins and this sort of thing.
And there are some members of the Senate saying, hey, we need the help.
We need these people to show up.
Phone calls don't do it anymore.
Emails don't do it anymore.
It's a massive effort that is being planned on December 15th.
The people that are informed of this know full well what an utter disaster for the United States of America the passage of this bill represents.
It fundamentally remakes and reorients the kind of country we have always been into a country we were never intended to be.
And people in growing numbers, well past a majority now, full well understand that and are frustrated as hell that they are not being listened to.
This is a representative republic.
The democratic process here and the elected representatives of the people are listening not to a word the people they represent are saying.
They're just, it's all for Obama.
We got to give Obama a monument.
We got to give Obama an accomplishment.
We got to give him achievement.
We've got to give him something to talk about in the State of the Union speech in January.
And we've also got to expand government with ourselves in control of it.
There is no greater illustration of the massive differences between the two parties and particularly the two ideologies than what is happening with healthcare, cap and trade, and any other pieces of legislation that happen to be floating around up in Washington.
And people are taking matters into their own hands here because the elected leadership is, for some reason, gone shy about this.
So I was asked to mention this to you and to spur any involvement on the part of any of you who are interested.
It is, it's called Code Red Rally, and it's Tuesday, December 15th at 1.30 p.m.
And it is in Washington.
The CEOs, chief executive officers of America's largest companies do not expect employment to significantly improve in the next six months.
This is a quarterly survey for the business roundtable.
And it found that 19% of companies expect to grow their workforces.
31% predict a decrease in the next six months.
That's slightly better than the 13% who saw increased hiring three months earlier when 40% forecast a decrease.
The bottom line here, few CEOs plan to hire in the next six months, according to a business roundtable survey.
Now, these are obviously not the people who were invited to the White House for the Obama Jobs Summit.
Clearly not.
And Obama told the Republican Party yesterday in a joint congressional leadership meeting, stop scaring the American people.
Things are not as bad out there as you're saying.
Stop scaring the American people.
We'll be back, folks.
Export Selection
