Time Text
Hiya folks and welcome back.
It's Rush Limboy, and this is the EIB Network.
And the most listened to radio talk show in the country, we are also at the distinguished and prestigious Limboy Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies, which is a traveling institution.
Wherever I am, it is.
And remember, as long as I'm here, it doesn't matter where here is.
Telephone number 800-282-2882.
Email address Lrushbaugh at EIB net.com.
I want to get back to um Obamacare here.
Bill Clinton today met with Senate Democrats at a lunch at their caucus to talk about there's a there's a key development here based on the election results in New Jersey and Virginia.
And Obama got it started last Friday.
When Obama went out there and he's talking, he's talking up the House Democrats, he said to them, you're going to be in bigger trouble if you don't pass this than if you do.
Don't worry about these extremists voting against you, meaning Republicans.
You are going to have more trouble being re-elected if you don't pass health care than if you do.
Clinton is up there at the Senate today telling Democrat senators the same thing, and he's aiming at two of them, particularly.
One especially Blanche Lincoln from Arkansas, his own home state where his library and massage parlor happens to be, which also got stimulus money, by the way, I think for the polls, you know, in the nightclub.
And the uh other Senator Ben Nelson in Nebraska, and to a lesser extent, Mary Landrew in Louisiana.
Those are the those are the targets here for what Clinton is trying to say.
And the the message that Clinton is is delivering is that he lost the House to Republicans in 1994 because he did not get health care passed.
Now they're up there, Obama and Clinton and Reed and Pelosi are lying to these Democrats.
They are signing their own re-election defeat certificate if they vote for this.
The dirty little secret is Obama doesn't care.
And Pelosi doesn't care, particularly if she uh able to chip off some blue dog Democrats.
Because the objective here is to get this passed.
They will give up seats to get this passed.
I cannot impress upon you enough just how overridingly important this is.
It's all that matters right now.
They're going to they're gonna pull out all the stops to get this done, even to the point of of losing even a majority in the House if it comes to that.
Because they think they'll get it back at some point.
Uh, as I said earlier, Obama wouldn't even mind, I don't think, a Republican majority in the House in 2010, because he could run against them in 2012, using the traditional playbook they use, aided and abetted by the sycophants in the uh in the state control media.
He's expected to speak to Senate Democrats about health care legislation during their weekly caucus today.
It's it's Bill Clinton up there, and uh is he's gonna say uh I I lost the house because we didn't pass it.
Uh that's why the Republicans took over.
If we'd have just passed my health care bill, we'd have held on, and none of that house changeover would have happened.
Interestingly.
From yesterday, public policy polling.
I often cite these clowns.
They're from uh these guys, they're from North Carolina, they are obviously uh left-wing pollsters.
And the guy that posts this, see, well, I don't have his name here.
But nevertheless, here's what he writes.
Here's my takeaways after explaining the polling on this.
The mere specter of a health care bill has gotten Republicans fired up to go vote next year, and they're gonna do it whether one passes or not.
But Democrats might stay at home like they did this year without health care being passed.
Democrat voters need to see that getting control of Washington accomplished something for them to be motivated to get out there next year and keep control of Washington.
At this point, the political fallout for Democrats from not passing a health care bill is worse than the fallout from passing one.
The damage is done with Republicans, is it gonna get done with Democrats as well?
So everybody that that can motivate or manipulate opinion of elected officials on the Democrat side is now in gear, trying to tell them that you don't pass this, if you don't pass health care, you will not stand a chance of being re-elected because your base won't show up.
But if you do pass this, then the Republicans don't have a prayer because your base will be excited, your base can't wait for health care, your base will show up and congratulate you and vote for your re-election.
No matter what happens, a Republicans are already lined up against you.
And they're factoring in fewer people identify themselves as Republicans than as Democrats.
They're ignoring that 40% of Americans identify themselves as conservatives and 20% identify themselves as liberals.
So they're very flawed in their outlook here, and they know it.
There's another aspect to this health care.
Do you remember what it was that defeated Clinton-Carol?
One of the, well, there were a lot of things about it that people didn't like.
But there were there were two things that people learned, senior citizens, two things that they learned.
There were going to be some Medicare cuts and tax increases.
And when the senior citizens found out about that, it was Katie Bar the door, the thing had no prayer.
The same thing exists in this bill, only it's worse.
The Medicare cuts in this bill are 500 billion, half a trillion.
Let's put it that way.
The Medicare cuts in the House bill are half a trillion dollars.
The tax increases are on everybody above 44,000 a year.
People do not know this.
The jail provision, the 250,000 dollar fine, this is Clinton care on steroids.
And when and if people find out about it, it's going to have just as devastating effect.
The difference now, the difference now is that Clinton was concerned with public opinion putting him over the finish line.
Remember the Hillary bus tour that started in Seattle and we derailed somewhere in Texas.
Clinton was concerned with public opinion putting him over the top.
Obama doesn't care.
Pelosi doesn't care.
They don't care that only 42% support this.
They don't care that 52 to 56% oppose it.
They don't care because as far as they're concerned, you can't stop them.
You can't vote them out of office before they vote.
You can send mail, you can send email, you can do whatever you want.
It's not gonna matter.
They're doing this in spite of what you want.
They've been trying this to get this done since FDR.
And again, it's not about health care.
It is about one thing fundamentally.
And then the offshoots of this are even more hideous.
But the primary thing this is about is the redistribution of wealth.
Which will result for the first time in well over a majority of Americans being fully dependent on Washington for their existence.
With the Democrats in charge of Washington, the theory is that no voter will ever vote against the government that is providing for him or her.
And therefore, Democrats will be in power in perpetuity.
That is the thing that is driving this.
The redistribution of wealth, the cutting the country down to size, taking as much of the private sector away from the private sector, putting it under government control, making you dependent on government, not the private sector for your prosperity for your well, whatever, there won't be any prosperity, but for your existence.
Now, the more hideous offshoots of this are that when they have this kind of power that makes you totally dependent, I mean it's real power.
They can tell you when and when you can't use a cell phone, when and when you can't do this, what you can and can't eat, where you can and can't go, what you can and can't weigh.
Send you off to some re-education camp if you don't lose weight, any number of things, and they can't wait to do this.
They exist for the exercise of power.
And this is the is they just they are chomping At the bit for this.
They also ideologically believe that this is the only way a society can be made equal.
And that is to be equally miserable.
But they really believe that.
They really believe government in charge of the distribution of wealth with a command and control economy is the only way to make sure that it's fair across the countryside, that everybody has the same amount of everything, that nobody has anything more or less than anybody else.
Of course, this has been tried throughout human history.
It never works.
It ends up with everybody in poverty.
It ends up with an oligarchy of wealthy people in the government, and they make rules for everybody but themselves.
And it takes revolutions to end that.
Now, when has been tried around the world during the existence of the United States, the United States up until now was right in there helping people who wanted to overthrow the situation they were in.
We stood for freedom, we stood for liberty around the world because we knew that if we didn't stand for it around the world, we would eventually lose it for ourselves.
We now have an administration that doesn't care a whit about that.
That liberty and freedom is what leads to inequality, discrimination, bigotry, all of these things that the left claims to despise.
So if you take the United States out of the game as the lone bastion of freedom, there's nobody to help us.
When the time comes, we're it.
And there's nobody to help the oppressed of the world either.
Deadly, deadly serious stuff here, folks.
Back in a moment.
Representative Lynn Woolsey, a California Democrat, dismayed by the House vote over the weekend to prohibit taxpayer money for insurance policies that cover abortion in the health care overhaul is saying that the IRS should investigate the tax exempt status of the Catholic Church following its lobbying effort for the restriction.
I expect political hardball on any legislation as important as the health care bill, Woolsey writes in Politico, I just didn't expect it from the United States Council of Catholic bishops.
Who elected them to Congress?
So a Democrat, on the day that Obama's going to be down there trying to tell everybody, don't rush to judgment here on what happened down here at Fort Hood.
We can't jump to any conclusions.
We can't know we got Islam, uh religion of peace.
A Democrat has called for an investigation of the Catholic Church over the abortion bill, which is coming out of it.
It's not even going to stay in there.
From London, England, research teams at the Danish golf union have discovered it takes between 100 to 1,000 years for a golf ball to decompose naturally.
You know, I'm a capitalist.
Now they say this is a problem.
Golf balls, a hundred to a thousand years to decompose naturally.
Why don't we build houses that way?
That's what a capital.
Oh, how are they building golf balls?
How are they managing that?
Let's build houses that way.
A startling fact, they say, when it is also estimated 300 million balls are lost or discarded in the United States alone every year.
It seems that the simple plastic golf ball is increasingly becoming a major litter problem.
The scale of the dilemma was underlined recently in Scotland, where scientists were surprised to find hundreds of thousands of golf balls lining the bed of the lock where the Loch Ness monster supposedly is.
It is thought tourists and locals have used the lock as an alternative driving range for many years.
The footage shot by underwater robotics team C Trepid can be seen below in a link they have in the story.
With an increasing number of golf balls discarded each year, the Danish Golf Association devised a number of tests to determine the environmental impact of golf balls on their surroundings.
It was found that during decomposition of golf balls dissolved to release a high quantity of heavy metals, dangerous levels of zinc, were found in the synthetic rubber filling used in solid core golf balls.
When submerged in water, the zinc Attached itself to the ground sediment and poisoned the surrounding flora and fauna.
Right, which is why golf courses across the world are brown and dying and so forth, because golf balls are killing grass.
Uh course manager for the Danish golf union, Torbin Kastrip Peterson said the scale of the problem is unknown.
There have been very little research on the environmental impact of golf balls, but it's safe to say the indicators are not good.
We're planning to collaborate with environmentalists in America to conduct more.
Oh!
You see where this is headed.
Hugo Chavez just took over all the golf courses in Venezuela.
Shut them down because it's a game for the elite.
It's exclusionary.
So now the golf ball is a major pollutant creating major environmental damage in the world, led, of course, by the United States.
Local government ministers in Scotland have also complained about the level of golf ball littering.
U.S. lawmaker Patrick Harvey told CNN from the moon to the bottom of Loch Ness.
Golf balls are humanity's signature litter in the most inaccessible locations.
From the moon to the bottom of Loch Ness.
They're inaccessible.
The fact is they're not inaccessible.
You don't even believe a number of people who make money diving into lakes on golf courses, getting the golf balls out of there and reselling them.
They get they get recycled.
But this is absurd.
We've been playing golf for how many years that Scotland invented this game in the 1800s just to the 1700s, and it's still there.
And parts of Scotland are green.
The golf courses.
Except in certain parts of the year where there's no rain and they get a little brown, but that's part of the charm of them.
Chad, well, that's true, nobody has seen a Loch Ness monster.
Maybe, maybe the reason there is no Loch Ness Monster is because the Loch Ness monster is eating all the golf balls and dying from all the zinc.
Or has died.
That's an excellent thought.
I ha I hadn't considered that.
Paradise Valley, Arizona.
Chad, welcome to the EIB network.
Hi, Rush.
It's great to talk to you.
Thank you, sir.
I think that the main point behind the Fort Hood terrorist attack is political correctness.
But I also think that Obama, the White House, and the media are not going to let the facts come out that it was in fact a terrorist attack.
Because if it was a terrorist attack, that means Obama failed.
Bush gave us seven years with no terrorist attack.
And a little over a year after Obama's been in office, there's a terrorist attack while he's trying to soften our defense and our intelligence.
That means Obama failed.
Once again, the all-knowing, all-seen Maha Rashi is right.
Obama failed.
Need to ask you one question.
Yeah.
Because I'm not.
We want to be accurate on this.
Did the Fort Dix attack occur during the Bush administration?
Or have all these attacks occurred since Obama took office?
I think Fort Dix was not this year.
Now Arkansas was this year.
The Arkansas recruit.
Fort Dix was stopped.
Oh, yeah, Fort Dix was.
Fort Dix was stopped.
Yeah, and that was during the Bush administration.
Yeah, 2007.
And that's right.
The Bush administration stopped it.
Yeah.
That's right.
That's right.
So you are absolutely right.
I was just trying to be extra cautionary.
Uh or cautious.
You're absolutely right.
That's no wonder we're not going to be called a terrorist attack.
There wasn't one during Bush's years.
And of course, there haven't been any since Obama swept in there and took off.
All right, yes, yes, yes.
I am a little stuffed up today.
I am.
You can hear it, right?
I started coming down with what I thought was another cold on Saturday.
So, damn.
Right before I went to Chicago, in fact, to induct Neil Bortz in the Radio Hall of Fame, took out the Zycam, have the Zycam on the airplane.
All the guys that flew up there with me gave them Zygam just to make sure you're in a closed environmental.
The air changes 12 times a minute on the airplane, but still you take no chances.
And I don't feel like I've got a cold at all.
I sound I know I know I sound stuffy, my nose is not stuffed up.
I just I just I sound stuffed up, but I don't feel like I've got any symptoms of a cough.
I just amazing how this stuff works for me.
Zycam.
It doesn't just mask the symptoms, it reduces the time you're sick.
Comes in a variety of forms and flavors now, and it's just as effective as it always has been.
Um there are lozenges, uh, there is a cold remedy that has the uh cold medicine as well as a sore throat medicine in it as uh as well.
They both work, they all work, but the key is using it the moment you think that you're coming down with something.
That's when I do it.
I keep it, I keep it in a briefcase.
Available anywhere, and it works.
Dave in New Orleans, great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Yes.
Um Thanks for letting me uh speak on your show.
Um I heard you speak earlier about um President Obama's um consideration of the amount of spending when you said about uh a billion dollars for every thousand troops or forty billion dollars.
And you you kind of made it sound like um that was, you know, nothing to worry about.
No, no, no.
What I said was I don't believe Obama cares a whit about the spending or the expense of it.
If he did, he wouldn't be doing any of his other agenda.
This is this is a phony excuse to not fulfill the commitment over there or to give some out for it, but and to placate his left wing base, by the way, which uh hates the military, hates these wars, doesn't want to go there.
Well, that's that's not true.
I mean, the the fact that the military is there and that he he is supporting them and not done anything to remove it, I think there's a lot of people.
But he's not disagree with him as to what he is.
Is not supporting no, no, no.
This is he's not supporting them.
He's dithering on whether or not to send troops over there.
He hasn't decided yet.
It's been three months.
Talent on loan from God.
Hey, I thought we had a national emergency out there, uh, H1N1.
Whatever happened to that.
I mean, that just dropped off the radar out there.
H1N1 National Emergency is an interesting piece here, commentary by Arthur Kaplan, PhD.
On of all places MSNBC.com.
Uh opinion swine flu response, dismal at best.
I'm gonna read parts of this to you.
Anybody who believes the government should control health care, should read this story.
We'll link to it at rushlimbought.com.
This guy, Kaplan, is all pro-government.
He's pro-vaccine.
But he's making the larger point here that more and more people do not trust the government, and they have proven they can't respond to this, proving their ineffta ineptness.
Listen to this.
Few seem to want to say so, but this nation has mounted a dismal response to the swine flu epidemic.
By dismal, I mean this.
There's not nearly enough swine vaccine to go around.
There are conflicted messages about when the doses and antiviral supplies will arrive.
Half of all Americans are reporting they're too afraid to get the vaccine, even if they are able to find it.
Healthcare workers are throwing fits when directed to take the vaccine, even if they work around high-risk patients.
And there's a breakdown of a strict distribution system to make sure the vaccine we do have is used to protect and save the most lives.
We've had the better part of a year to get ready for swine flu, and yet the response to the outbreak has been lousy.
What would happen if a hostile power launched a large-scale bioterrorism attack against us with no warning?
The Obama administration blames or bears much of the blame for the fear the public and health care workers have of the swine flu vaccine.
The facts do not square with the fear.
The numbers of sick and dead are mounting.
Yet somehow the administration, public health officials, and organized medicine and nursing have lost the battle to overcome fear, ignorance, and just plain kookiness when it comes to the importance of vaccination for those at greatest risk.
Worse, efforts to tell health care workers, health care workers that they must get vaccinated if there is vaccine to give them have faltered.
Few leaders in medicine or public health, much less the White House have spoken up and said that if you are a health care worker, your ethical promise To put the health and safety of your patients first means you have an absolute duty to get vaccinated.
One very clear lesson.
From the current swine flu epidemic is that our safety and security demand much more in terms of effective public education and communication than we have seen to date.
Some swine flu vaccine, according to recent press accounts, has been released to more than a dozen companies, including Wall Street firms, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and JP Morgan Chase.
Some professional sports teams have gotten vaccine and vaccinated their players and their coaches.
Prisons are prime greeting grounds for disease, including swine flu.
The prisoners uh infect the guards who bring the virus home to their pregnant wives and kids from there, moves out into the neighborhood, school, the airport, and beyond.
We're not doing a good job with swine flu.
We need a national commission to review what's gone wrong with the response.
We don't.
We do not need a national commission.
All we need to know is it's government behind it.
They don't do anything effectively, efficiently, or correct, and yet we're going to turn it over all of health care to them.
By the way, our official climatologist, Dr. Roy Spencer, heard the golf ball pollution report.
The primary polluting ingredient in there is zinc.
Decomposes, and the zinc causes all kinds of flora and flowers and stuff to die.
He says pennies, Rush, pennies are 98% zinc.
And by one estimate, about 400 million are lost every year.
Maybe environmentalist Micos need to campaign against pennies.
Frank in Trenton, New Jersey.
I'm glad you called, sir.
You're next on the program.
Hello.
Hey, Rush, I wonder how much zinc are in the car batteries in a Prius.
Anyway.
That's true.
That's a good point.
He cited a uh 2001 quote from the Messiah in my teleprompter as a question.
The Messiah said that a key lesson learned from 9-11 is that it's incumbent upon us, the U.S. to provide hope for the children of the Middle East.
So, what's your opinion as to whether President Bush's war effort to liberate Afghanistan and Iraq from their oppressive uh hate generating regimes?
Does that provide that kind of hope?
I always thought it did, and I think ultimately people of Afghanistan and Iraq thought so.
Uh they eventually joined with us.
Remember now, remember here's here's this is this is you know, nobody dare say what I'm going to say.
But Obama talking about incumbent upon a U.S. to provide hope for the children of the Middle East.
Uh, many children of the Middle East are having explosives strapped on them by their parents and sent on to buses.
It is not the United States that is killing them or destroying their hope.
It is their own culture.
But we dare not say that.
So don't tell anybody out there, Frank, that I said that.
We'll keep it to myself, sir.
Yeah, thanks for appreciate that.
They gotta be very careful about what you say, and uh and who hears it out there.
Well, I mean, hope?
Middle Eastern children?
Being raised to become martyrs?
To have themselves killed.
Hope for Middle Eastern children?
Obama says it's up to us.
Speaking of Obama, the songs continue.
Now from the World Wildlife Fund website.
Part of their Act for Our Future campaign.
We have three sound bites here of one video of children of World Wildlife Fund staffers calling for Obama to attend the UN climate summit in Copenhagen.
The world's top scientists agree that climate change is most serious threat to ever face our planet.
It's coming faster and hitting harder than expected.
Droughts and floods and hurricanes are getting worse.
It's affecting our water supply and our ability to grow crops.
America the beautiful might not be so beautiful anymore.
Important ecosystems like the Amazon and the Arctic.
They'll be damaged forever.
Really cool animals like polar bears and walruses will lose their habitat.
We're pushing our planet past the point of no return.
Really cool planets like polar bears and walruses.
There's a story in here.
Some kid and his 67-year-old uncle, grandfather, were out there on an ice floor with their snowmobiles, and they were out hunting.
And they their snowmobile broke down and they found themselves confronted by a large polar bear.
And I mean, it was them or the or the cute animal, uh, the polar bear, and the 16-year-old kid killed the polar bear.
The 16-year-old kid shot and murdered the polar bear.
It didn't take global warming, it took a bullet.
Or some shot, I don't know what the weapon was.
And then, after all of that, after all of that, other human beings had the nerve to rescue the kid.
The kid should have been left to die on the ice flow.
Because in the normal environmental circumstance, the polar bear would have killed the kid.
But the kid killed the polar bear.
And they had the audacity and the nerve to go out there and rescue that kid and his 67-year-old relative.
Where are our priorities?
Here these little kids at the World Wildlife Fund are being told to recite lyrics about walruses and really cool animals like polar bears will lose their habitat.
No, they're losing their lives because of 16-year-old kids like this going out armed.
They had the audacity to rescue the kid instead of just leaving.
They should have rescued the polar bear, trying to save it.
They had their priorities right.
There is hope, though, for all of these calamities.
Ladies and gentlemen, there's hope.
That's called Copenhagen.
But there is hope.
In December, 192 countries will gather at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.
That in Denmark.
Copenhagen is the best chance we have to come together and help save the planet.
We must act quickly with great courage and conviction.
We have to be brave right now.
The rest of the world is ready.
Germany, Mexico, Bangladesh, Japan, India, France, Brazil, and China.
They want to find a way to save the planet from devastating climate change.
So why would the United States stand in everybody else's way?
I don't know.
That's children of the World Wildlife Fund staffers in a video on the World Wildlife Fund website.
I mean, this is these people using their own kids brainwashing their own kids for the advancement of a hoax.
Using and brainwashing their own kids about a lie, all for the purpose of advancing a policy that's going to result in restricted freedom for these kids.
No chance at prosperity because of high energy taxes.
Here's the final installment, ladies and gentlemen.
And in this installment, the kids beg Obama to go.
President Barack Obama, please, please.
Please.
We need you, President Obama, to go to Copenhagen.
Is we here, Mr. President?
We need you to be there to help America be a leader, a leader.
To find the answers to save the polar bears.
The worships and the planet.
We're counting on you.
We're counting on you.
All of us.
My entire generation is counting on you.
Counting on you.
Counting on you.
Do you think he knows how to get to Copenhagen?
The whole thing runs on me out of 32, 30, 40, 70 seconds.
About 200 seconds, so a little over three minutes.
I think these people ought to be ashamed.
I don't think they have the capacity for being ashamed.
Polar bears dying.
It's not too.
Alright, I gotta take a break.
We will be back.
And we will continue out of this.
Do not go away.
You know, Snerdley just said, when are they gonna make the Obama youth wear uniforms?
I'm frankly surprised that there are this many kids of World Wildlife Fund staffers to appear in a video given their views on abortion and humans causing climate destruction.
And I get surprised each and every day.
Snurley, have you did we ever hear back from Herb that the truck driver who called?
I have been fretting over this.
We need to start a policy of getting people's phone numbers to be able to call them back because this poor guy called yesterday, and he was just it tugged at everybody's heartstrings, talking about financial circumstances he's in now for a number of reasons, including the recession.
And he said he lost his wife to um breast cancer, got married five years later, but did not have the money to get a different house or even a different bed.
And it was very uh strange for his new wife to sleep in in the same bed.
So he was saving up money.
He'd saved up and saved up to go out and buy a select comfort bed, and during the conversation, I thought that he said he had bought the bed, and then everything fell apart.
And I misunderstood him, but I didn't think I misunderstood him, so I didn't read the stunno stenno up there about what he had said.
So it turns out he had saved up the money and then emergencies hit, he needed the money, and he couldn't get the bed.
And had I heard that, of course, I would have taken care of it.
But we didn't know how to get hold of him, and I I put out a call yesterday for Herb to call back.
And uh we haven't heard he might be trying.
It's just very, very, very tough to get into this program.
People have been trying for 21 years.
And is it inf Snerdly?
Have you not even had a call from somebody purporting to be Herb?
That is amazing.
That is a testament to the quality and character of members of this audience that not one person, well, it not one person's gotten through anyway, attempting to cons to c to persuade Snurdley, convince Snerdley that he is Herb.
But we have voice print of Herb, but we know what we know what Herb sounds like.
We remember him very well.
Um I feel terrible about this.
I mean, here's this guy.
He's been listening forever.
Uh he loves the country.
All he wanted was a select comfort bed for himself and his new wife, and uh and he wants the select comfort bed because he's heard me tout the thing.
And he believes what I say about it because it's true.
Sleep number, set your side of the bed, your partner's side of the bed, whatever firmness or softness that you want.
Uh you'll wake up refreshed like you never have, you'll sleep better than you ever have.
There's a bunch of stores around the country, 400 of them.
Call 1800 get a bed.
Find out which one's near you.
1800 get a bed.
And maybe when you call them asking if they've heard from Herb.
Uh uh, Sweetwater, Tennessee, BP, welcome to the uh program.
Nice to have you here.
Hello, Rush.
Uh, just want to let you know it's an absolute pleasure to be talking with you today.
Thank you very much, sir.
All right, sir.
I'll get right to the uh point because uh time is uh creeping up on us here.
My questions, Rush, uh, surround the constitutionality of the health care bill.
Uh being that the United States was founded on the principles of a Republican form of democracy with all the appropriate checks and balances built into our Constitution, and I base this argument on the contents of Article 1, Section 8, and the Tenth Amendment.
Why then is there nothing being done by the powers that be to thwart the apparent uncon unconstitutionality of this health care bill?
And I'm talking specifically, I guess at this point, of the Supreme Court.
Well, there's nothing to file against yet.
It's just an idea.
Uh it's it's until this is passed.
It's the same thing with campaign finance reform.
You couldn't do anything about that until it became law, and then there were people that challenged it.
