Rush Limbaugh, the Excellence in Broadcasting Network, where we meet and surpass all audience expectations on a daily basis.
I am America's real anchor man.
I am not part of the state-controlled media.
I am still independent.
Our telephone number if you want to be on the program, 800 282-2882, the email address lrushbow at EIB net.com.
I have to address something here.
I'm I'm getting so many emails about because people see my weight loss on the dinnocham.
And I'm getting so many emails.
Why can't you tell us what it folks?
It's not that I won't tell you.
It's just I can't.
It's too complicated.
I mean, putting the menu together is a jigsaw puzzle every day.
I uh it would take me 45 minutes every day to tell you what the diet plan is and answer all your questions about why it works.
All I can tell you is that it's about 1,500 calories a day, but you don't count them.
I don't know the caloric intake of one thing I'm eating.
All I know is that it adds up to about 1,500 calories.
It's a factor.
But it is the way the proteins, the complex carbs and the fats, and even some fruit get put together during the course of day.
For example, you cannot have two proteins at one meal.
So I cannot have uh one night uh surf and turf.
I can have five and a half ounces of fillet, seven ounces of chicken or fish, but I can't combine it.
I can't have three ounces of beef and four ounces of fish.
I don't know why.
I just follow it, and it works.
I've never lost uh uh weight faster than than than this diet.
But it's not that I don't want to tell you, it's just I can't.
Well, why don't you put the menu?
Because I'd have to put the recipes up every I just it's not the business I'm in.
I mean, I'm not trying to deny anybody this.
They d if you want to lose weight, I trust me, I've done every diet there is, and they all work.
They all work.
I'll tell you what.
I'm not gonna go on Oprah to talk on it.
You know, I've just don't make me laugh.
Don't make go on Oprah to talk about.
Um one of the resturbed my train of thought in there, Dawn.
I was gonna say something about this.
Uh the the the uh trying to recapture my train of thought here.
The uh diet.
Oh, the I'll tell the first three days of this diet, the first three or four days are Atkins.
You just pound as much protein and fat as you can.
If you have a steak, dip it in melted butter.
Have lobster scampi, scallop scampi, shrimp scampi, no vegetables, no fruit.
First week I lost 10 pounds, and that's the first three or four days of Diet to Atkins.
After that, it goes to this 1,500 calorie regimen.
But I mean it's it's uh if I didn't have help doing this, I couldn't do it myself.
It's it's a jigsaw puzzle putting it together every day to do it right.
And so, let's see, I started March 9th.
Is it June 1st?
So June the 9th is gonna be roughly 90 days, right?
Three months, and I'm at uh 58 pounds this morning.
I was at 55.
It's level off now about three and four pounds a week.
Three to four pounds.
No, no, I did this is another, I do not think about food because this is real food, it's not boxed food.
It's uh real food.
The recipes are the key.
I look forward.
I mean, I don't I don't I don't I don't feel deprived.
Uh, this is I mean I could I can see eating this way uh the rest of my life, in fact, be satisfied.
Now I'm not going out.
I could, but the problem with that is you can never trust the chef at a restaurant.
You can tell them, you can say please do not put any oil of any kind on the chicken breast.
But restaurants are in the business of their food tasting good, and they do that with fat.
Fat is what makes food taste good.
And even though even if you know the place, I mean you you're still running a risk that uh they'll tell you they won't do it.
I want seven ounces of salmon, not seven and a half, not eight.
You gotta trust it once comes out of there seven ounces.
You don't want to go in there with a scale and weigh it.
Besides it's pre-cook weight that you have to that you have to measure.
So I wish I could tell you folks, I I I've uh uh it it but it's it would be a full-fledged business.
You could put the recipes on the website.
No, I I'm not gonna turn, I'm not gonna turn rushlinbaugh.com into Recipe Central.
Just uh I don't want to why would I want to go on Oprah?
If I if I wanted to do all this, I could do it myself right here.
Okay, well then what did you have?
What did you have for breakfast?
I'll tell you what I had for breakfast.
I had two ounces of an egg beater omelet with about four ounces of fat-free milk to stretch it, and a quarter cup of chopped vegetables, mushrooms, green pepper, uh red pepper you can't have, green pepper you can, uh, and uh some tomatoes.
Who would you have for lunch?
Chicken salad uh on one piece of uh of uh uh low-fat uh the whole wheat bread.
But the chicken salad, see, I can't tell you how to make it.
All I can tell you is it's delicious.
But it's not got any mayonnaise in it.
It's not the chicken salad you're thinking of, but it's it does have some lettuce in it.
It's delicious.
Um, not a typical twice a week I'd have five and a half ounces of fillet, half of a baked potato, uh a little side dish of pasta and a quarter cup of broccoli.
That's when I started this, I got mad.
I said, I'm not gonna lose weight eating this much.
I couldn't believe it.
But it's worked.
No exercise except golf.
And I get no, you cannot drink.
No adult beverages.
And it's not just the calories in the adult beverage.
Well, probably now, if I wanted to have a glass of wine once or twice a week, I could do it without throwing the diet off.
But when you're starting, you can't.
It's not it's not the calories, it's alcohol gets metabolized as pure sugar.
And that requires insulin.
And insulin is the biggest enemy of weight loss because insulin is what's necessary to store fat.
So any diet worth its salt, you're gonna be eating very little sugar.
So that you trigger as little insulin as possible.
Uh, because it just that shuts down the weight loss process.
That that's why alcohol is uh banned.
And now, the only alcohol diet that works is if you don't eat anything, then you can drink all you want.
But the minute you eat something, you're dead.
And I don't know too many people who can just drink all day long and be functional.
But that's the only alcohol diet I've ever seen that works.
I could name you a couple of people that do that.
But I would get sued for revealing trade secrets of famous people.
So I'm not going to do that.
I also had not intended to talk about Barack Obama and GM for two hours today, but I can't get away from it.
This is just outrageous what is happening today and what it means.
Try this.
This is this is from the New York Times today.
It's not every 31-year-old who in his first government job finds himself dismantling General Motors and rewriting its rules.
But that, in short, is the job description for Brian Deese, a not quite graduate of Yale law, who had never set foot in an automobile assembly plant until he took on his nearly unseen role in remaking the automobile industry.
Obama has appointed a 31-year-old young man who has never been in the automobile business, and he's responsible for dismantling it and putting it back together as a functioning enterprise under Obama's tutelage.
While all the while Obama says he's not running the company.
That a board of directors is.
But here's got a 31-year-old almost Yale law graduate, even if he had been a full-fledged Yale law graduate, how does that qualify him to dismantle and put back together General Freaking Motors.
And let us not forget this, ladies and gentlemen.
I found this at sweetness and light.com.
It is uh from the Washington Post, it's November 11th, 2008.
See, in his remarks today about the bankruptcy at General Motors, Obama gave the impression that the federal government, specifically the Bush administration, had long ago begun this practice of loaning the automaker money, and that he had always been reluctant to go this route.
But if you go back to the Washington Post Tuesday, November 11th, 2008, this is after the election, one week after the election, President Obama yesterday urged President Bush to support immediate aid for struggling automakers and back a new stimulus package, even as Congressional Democrats began drafting legislation to give the Detroit automakers quick access to $25 billion by adding them to the Treasury Department's $700 billion economic rescue planner TARP.
Bush, speaking privately to Obama during their first Oval Orifice meeting, repeated his administration's stand he might support quick action on these bills if Democrat leaders drop their opposition to a Columbia free trade agreement that Bush supports.
So the bottom line is Obama urged this.
He one week after the election, Obama urged essentially the General Motors bailout.
And today he's up there saying he never wanted any part of it.
He inherited this.
It's a mess.
He didn't intend this.
It's another one of these challenges he inherited, never thought he would be faced with.
He wanted it.
He wants all of this.
You just have to figure out why this is so successful for him and not for anybody else.
Now, mere moments ago, I asked you to consider what Obama said today about for people in the automobile business, but I think this probably covers a lot of people outside the autobus, too.
He said, look it, um, your future's over.
You, you, your purpose here is to make sacrifices for your children and grandchildren.
More plants are going to close, more parts suppliers are going to close, more dealerships are going to close, more jobs are going to be lost.
I'd love to tell you it's going to get better soon, but I can't.
It's going to get worse.
You have been called on to sacrifice.
Now, when you tell the middle class to four forestall or to forego their pursuit of the American dream, you effectively kill the U.S. economy.
The U.S. economy is the middle class.
The little guy that the Democrats have always claimed to care about more than anybody else.
And they make that point by claiming they're going to punish the rich and they're going to tax these guys, and they allow protests at the exec's homes who ran AIG, and so the little guy thinks Obama's on their side.
Meanwhile, the little guy keeps losing his job to the tune of 600,000 jobs a month.
And the little guy is supposed to be satisfied with the supposed pain that the rich people are experiencing.
And every time Obama announces a fix to something, he always tells us it's going to get worse.
Unfortunately, this isn't going to make it better right away.
I wish it was, but it wasn't.
We now know that twelve dealerships or twelve uh manufacturing plants, three part suppliers shut down 18 to 20,000 jobs lost, just because this GM decision today.
Okay, you want to hear the next hit on the little class, on the middle class, the next obstacle that's going to keep you in the middle class from aspiring and reaching the American dream.
It's from the politico.com today, Barack Obama's health plan takes shape.
Obama and Congressional Democrats are considering an overhaul that could exceed one trillion dollars over ten years that we do not have.
Spending cuts will get them only so far.
That means that some people are going to have a tax increase.
The hot target at the moment, levying a tax on health benefits provided through employers, which currently aren't subject to taxation.
So the politico is the second news organization to make this something they're officially considering after it has been long predicted by me and others that this would be a target for new tax revenue.
Now, the vast majority of people in this country are the middle class, right?
And the vast majority of the people who work have health insurance provided by their companies, right?
That means the vast majority of the people of this country, middle class, are going to get a huge tax increase.
Because the value of your health plan at your job will be treated as imputed income or additional income to what you were paid.
So if it costs your employer 12 or $15,000 a year to give you a health plan, that $12,000 to $15,000 a year is added to your gross, and bam, it gets taxed.
So everybody, your take home pay is going to get smaller.
To the tune of you getting a $12,000 to $15,000 raise.
And the tax.
You know, you could put push you in another income range, too.
I don't know if they're going to do it that way.
I mean, I they probably, they're going to have to, sturdily, they're going to have to come up with the most important ways of raising taxes in the most and and the most varied ways they can, because the Chinese are telling us you can't keep printing money like this.
You're making our investment worthless.
So little Timmy and Pelosi are over there telling the ChICOMs, don't worry, your investment's safe.
And the Chinese are saying, show us the math on this.
Look, we'll link to this at Rush Limbaugh.com.
There are two well, the one story about this that that is probably the most understandable is in the New York Post today.
It's by columnist Erwin Stelzer.
He is a contributing editor to the Weekly Standard and the director of economic policy studies at the Hudson Institute.
And he goes through the ramifications of our debt and the nervousness that the ChICOMs are feeling about it.
They're nervous about how we're going to pay the debt because we either going to devalue the dollar with inflation or we are going to raise taxes.
In either case, their investment suffers, and our consumers have less disposable income, which means less money to buy ChICOM exports.
So the Chinese are going to say, screw exporting.
We're just going to manufacture products for sale in this country, and we're going to hire people in this country to make these products and blah, blah, blah.
And screw the United States.
Now they can't let our economy go totally in the tubes because of the strength of their investment.
But is it this is this is deadly serious stuff.
If he gets everything he wants and there's nothing stopping him, if he gets everything he wants with two terms all the way through uh 2016, my friends, we are going to be 11 or 12 trillion dollars in debt by then.
If not more.
Here, one more little thing to add to this.
I'm gonna have to take a break here, but I'll titillate you with this.
Federal Reserve puzzled by yield curve steepening.
The long bond yield is increasing.
The T bill, the long T bill, long long bond, the 30-year bond, the yield, meaning the payoff to the investor, is increasing.
Now you would think that's good news, right?
You tell people, okay, buy bonds, buy long bonds at whatever the price is, and the yield, if you hold them to maturity, your investment's gonna be better than it's been in a while.
This is a problem.
Remember the old days when employment numbers improving was bad news on Wall Street, because they thought it meant inflation.
Okay, when the yield on the long bond, and they're puzzled why the yield on other bonds is not going up on the long bond.
The yield, I think it's a long bond.
I'll I'll check this during the story, give it details.
Anyway, when the yield goes up, it means the investor benefits.
He's getting a bigger return.
That's a problem.
For the Federal Reserve.
I'll explain when we come back.
Don't go away.
Here's that Reuters story.
It's from yesterday, the Fed Reserve today studying significant moves in the U.S. government bond market last week that could have big implications for the Fed's strategy to combat the country's recession.
The Fed's not really sure what is driving the sharp rise in long bond yields, and especially a widening gap between short and long-term yields.
Do rising U.S. Treasury yields, now remember, a yield is simply what the investor makes.
Think of it as an interest rate.
It's a it's it's it's it's a it's an interest rate the investor makes if he holds the bond to maturity, the yields are going up.
Do rising treasury yields and a steepening yield curve suggest an economic recovery is more certain, meaning less need for safe haven government bonds and a healthy demand for credit?
If so, there might be less need for the Fed to expand the money supply by buying more U.S. treasuries.
Or does the steepening curve, yield curve, mean investors are worried about the deterioration in the U.S. fiscal outlook or the potential for a collapse in the dollar as the Fed floods the world with newly printed currency as part of its quantitative easing program.
This might be an argument to augment uh to step up asset purchases.
Another possibility is that the ChICOMs, the uh largest foreign holder of U.S. Treasury debt, has decided to refocus its portfolio by leaning more heavily on short-term bonds.
So they don't even know what it means.
The yields are going up.
Now, normally, if you invest in something and get a good return, it's good news.
But it might not be for the U.S. economy.
Or it might be.
It might be bad for the Fed, might be bad for Obama.
It might mean the economy's coming out of it, or it might mean the exact opposite.
I myself had to educate myself on this because it made no sense to me people be upset that bondholders get a good return on the investment.
So with no if you want to sell bonds with no yield, who's gonna buy them?
You know, for what point?
Anyway, we'll be back.
Sit tight, stay with us.
How many of you saw the uh the story in the English language version of Pravda over the weekend?
Listen to the lead here.
It must be said that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheeple.
Excuse me, dear reader, I mean people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past 20 years, the initial testing grounds conducted upon our holy Russia, and a bloody test it was.
But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture rather than the classics.
Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in D.C. that directly affects their lives.
They care more for their right to choke down a McDonald's burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights.
Nobody ever called 911 when they lost a constitutional right, but they called 911 when they don't get their McNuggets.
Then they turned around and lecture us about our rights and about our democracy in Russia.
Then their face faith in God was destroyed until their churches, all tens of thousands of different branches and denominations were for the most part little more than Sunday circuses, and their televangelists and top Protestant mega preachers were more than happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the winning side of one pseudo-Marxist politician or another.
Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the winning side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power.
Even our wholly Orthodox churches are scandalous scandalously liberalized in Russia, meaning Russian Orthodox churches.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama.
His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive.
His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history, but in the world.
If this keeps up, for more than another year, and there is no sign that it will not.
America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breathtaking of all.
First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American tax system by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, losses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars.
These make our Russian oligarchs look little more than ordinary street thugs in comparison.
Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in sheer volumes.
Should we congratulate them?
English language version of Pravda.
The state-run media in the old Soviet Union.
and And the key word here, in the lead, the American descent into Marxism.
Pravda calling Marxism something that you fall into.
Back to the phones.
Matt, Cabot, Arkansas, nice to have you on the program.
Welcome, sir.
Mega concealed carry dittoes of great Maha Rushi.
By the way, concealed carry dittoes of the permits are rising.
Ammo purchases, gun purchases skyrocketing in this country.
Yes, Matt, what's up?
Well, sir, I called this morning to tap into your infinite wisdom and help me process his majesty's comments this morning of the doom and gloom.
Uh going back to the magnificent one's comments last week, speaking to a group of his Hollywood groupies.
Did he not say that things were looking better and on an upswing?
Well, what he did what he said was the economy's coming back from the brink.
And if and if they liked what they've seen, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Yep, that's right.
If you like what you've seen, we ain't seen nothing yet.
The economy's coming back from the brink, he told a Hollywood fundraiser last Wednesday.
That that's exactly right, Matt.
You're not supposed to be that smart.
You live in Arkansas.
Uh Obama thinks people like you are not supposed to be able to figure out his hypocrisy.
But that's right.
He did say what we've turned a corner, and you ain't seen nothing yet.
And then we get grab sound by 32 again, Mike.
Or 31, whatever the hell it is.
I've got two different sheets with two different numbers here.
Um it's it's the first Obama, all right.
You're listening to this.
He turned and last Wednesday, he turned it around.
The economy is bottomed out.
It's coming off the wall or whatever he's rebounding.
And you ain't seen nothing yet.
I will not pretend the hard times are over.
Difficult days lie ahead.
More jobs will be lost, more plants will close.
More dealerships will shut their doors, and so will many parts suppliers.
But I want you to know that what you're doing is making a sacrifice for the next generation.
A sacrifice you may not have chose to make, but a sacrifice you were nevertheless called to make so that your children and all of our children can grow up in America that still makes things, that still builds cars, that still strives for a better future.
It's gonna get worse.
It's gonna get so bad that you have no hope.
Only your children or grandchildren will have hope, and that's because you are being called on to make sacrifices for them now.
Except your children and grandchildren are going to be born broke.
Because Obama has spent money that has yet to be even earned by people who have yet to be born.
Patricia in Trumbull, Connecticut, hi, and welcome to the EIB network.
Hello.
Hi, Rush.
I'm a couple of years older than you, and I grew up uh being taught that you had to save money and have it before you could spend it and invest it.
And I feel like I'm in the twilight zone now, where when I was uh growing up, Pravda told us the lies, and now it seems like Obama's White House press corps and the or press uh office and the um websites are being run by the the former types of Pravda.
And now now you're telling us that Pravda's telling us the truth about what's happening in the world.
It's just mind-boggling, but initially uh I called a couple of hours ago uh uh hours ago, thinking I'm finally getting the picture from you.
Obama is deliberately making the economic situation worse so that when it inevitably recovers somewhat, hopefully in 2010, just in time for the election, that that will help him show that he can claim credit for taking us uh out of the bottom.
Is is that it?
Well, I uh you again here we're gonna have to define the economy recovering.
I'm I I don't know what it's gonna be.
See, I think for most people to think the economy is recovering, that unemployment numbers have to reverse.
And I don't think they're going to.
All the experts are telling us that unemployment will lag or employment will lag after the economy does turn.
Real estate market has to stabilize, and there has to be some indication that value is returning to assets in the real estate market.
I don't I don't I just don't see it.
People have to be unafraid to spend money or to borrow money, and I I get look at it, I guess it can it can turn around in in uh nine months, starting in two ten, maybe maybe a year because two ten midterms, you know, middle of the year next year campaign starts.
Give it a year to turn around.
I mean, the U.S. economy is a very powerful thing.
But I'll tell you what, it's taken a lot of hits.
I mean, taking, it is taking a lot of hits.
Contrary to being revitalized and stimulated, it's d it's it's being stomped on.
It is being depressed by policies from the Democrat Party in this administration.
Now the you what you may be talking about is that the bulk of the stimulus money starts being spent in 2010.
And people might see that as a sign that the government's finally doing something and therefore credit uh Obama.
All of this is academic.
But you know, if if they get their way, if they get cap and trade and if they get taxing uh the uh health care benefits as income, and they get their health care plan, there's not going to be any economic recovery here.
You're gonna have the only the only segment that's gonna be growing is gonna be government.
And the only people are gonna be doing well are people at work for government.
The private sector's not going to benefit, and I I just here's the bottom line, folks.
Cut to the chase time, okay.
It can be as bad as it is now or worse a year from now.
And if there is not a Republican Party running candidates opposed to it, it isn't gonna matter.
People can rise up all they want.
But unless they storm the gates, which is you know, it doesn't happen in this country unless unless they've got alternative candidates to vote for that'll vote against this stuff.
Uh you tell me.
You can talk about whether Obama's gonna credit for it.
You know damn well he's gonna try to get the credit for it.
The state-run media is going to give him credit for it.
It's gonna be entirely up to an organized party that voices the truth and an opposition to give people an alternative to the Democrat Party to vote for.
That get enough votes.
But Obama's taking care of that, see.
He's just thrown out any any voter intimidation charges against the new Black Panther Party in uh in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia specifically.
The Secretary of State in Georgia wanted to purge the voter rolls to get rid of illegally registered people and dead people, and the U.S. Justice Department, again, Eric Holder said no, can't do it.
It would be discriminatory.
So illegally registered voters stay on the rolls in Georgia.
Acorn got five to eight billion dollars worth of stimulus money to run out, and you know what they do, they fraudulently register people to vote.
So I don't know.
I mean, the news today is very depressing.
So I'm I'm I'm not I'm not gonna predict the future.
All I know is that whatever happens that is that can be portrayed as good by the state-run media will be credited to Obama, whether he asks for it or not.
That's what state-run medias do they credit the Grand PUBA.
Okay, I gotta take a quick time out.
We'll be back.
We'll continue after this.
Rush, you didn't I just check the email.
You didn't talk about how the press is dumping all over you still on the Sony Sotomayor stuff and you calling her a race.
Yes, I did.
If you missed it in the first hour, it's real simple.
Everything you're reading in the press about this is not true.
The Obama people understand, they're on defense on this.
They've got a problem.
She did say something very racist.
She is she would bring racism and bigotry to the court.
Now they what they're doing, the people in the media, in the state-run media, and a couple of wobbly Republicans are kind of going, I wish Rush wouldn't use that word.
But nobody's denying the charge.
In fact, Obama is confirming the charge by suggesting that she would do it differently if she had a do-over.
She'd say it differently if she had a do-over.
But if you look at her whole comment in context, and I I will do this tomorrow.
You look at Major parts of the speech where she said that she would rule better because of the riches of her experience as a Latina than a white guy.
The whole speech is filled with things like this.
So all you need to know is that while the White House and the straight state run media are trying to condemn me for this and paint me as some kind of a mean SOB, they're not denying the charge.
And it's key.
They're talking about a do-over.
And she'd say it a little bit different.
No, she wouldn't.
She's a product of her environment.
This is what she was taught.
She was taught that white males destroyed this country, this continent.
It's what she was taught.
That's what all people are taught today.
It's got a multicultural curriculum.
Look, another thing, uh, an acquaintance of my family passed away uh I think over the weekend, and I have uh I've been asked to recognize this man.
His name is George Parker.
He died at 86 of uh of pancreatic cancer.
He was known uh in Boone County, Missouri.
He was known as the, which is Columbia, Jeff City, he was known as the godfather of the Republican Party.
He died in Columbia on Tuesday of last week.
Uh he survived by a wife, son, and three daughters.
He was a huge Republican Party pioneer nationally and locally.
Um he's best known for, and you may have heard of these.
He's best known as the founder of the Grand Order of Pacy Derms, which is a Republican club that had 90 or so chapters all over the uh all over the country.
And he was uh he was one of these people in the Republican Party, one of the good guys that you never heard about because he never sought recognition or fame, but he was an acquaintance of our family, and I wanted to pass along condolences to uh the Parker family for his passing.
Ken, I never knew him personally, but a lot of my family did.
Ken in Lavonia, Michigan, welcome to the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Yeah, Rush.
I was calling to um kind of throw a wrench into Obama's plans for uh nationalizing the auto industry.
Um a group of friends of mine recently had a conversation, and uh what came out of that conversation I think was important because I think a lot of Americans feel the same way, and that is we would never buy a product from any company that uh was being controlled by the federal government.
And a lot of that had to do with our hatred for socialism.
Now wait a second.
Obama says he's not gonna run the company, except for the most fundamental decisions.
Well, Rush, we both know that Obama is lying through his teeth.
All right, all right, all right.
So you're not gonna buy a car, you and your buddies aren't gonna buy a car owned by the government, a company uh owned by the government.
Exactly.
And I really think Obama's got a plan for that.
I I I hate to tell you.
Well, we have a plan too.
And it's called we're gonna try to uh vote him out of office.
You're gonna try to do what?
Vote him out of office.
Well, yeah.
Yeah, good luck.
He's in the process of stacking the deck against that option.
You tell is there an alternative party out there?
No, not yet.
Well, there isn't yet.
There probably will be.
Here's where Odam, you talk about putting a wrench in his plans.
Obama is a wrench into everybody's future.
You say you're not gonna buy a car built by an Obama-run company.
You're not gonna have a choice once you get to 2016.
The new cafe standards, every company, every automobile company in the world that sells a car in this country is gonna have to meet cafe emission standards that will, in effect, make every car a car you don't want.
Hey, and don't worry, folks, there was lots of stuff in the stack of stuff today that I didn't have a chance to get to.
And there was some really juicy sound bites I didn't have a chance to get to today, but we deal here with the news as it breaks, like the state run media used to do, but no longer does.
