Time Text
We are back.
It's great to be with you.
I am Rush Limbaugh, a man, a legend, and a way of life.
Executing a signed host duties flawlessly, zero mistakes.
What?
It's 32 today.
It was 32 pounds today.
It's day 35.
Snodley wanting to know how the diet is going.
It's a diet.
They all work.
Big whoop.
Thirty 32 pounds, 35 days.
Great to have you here, folks.
Telephone number 800 282, 2882.
The email address is L Rushbo at EIB net.com.
You gotta hear this on the Today Show today.
Matt O'Wauer has this exchange with Obama's chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisors is Christina Roomer.
And by the way, before she was appointed to this position, Christina Roomer posted on one of her websites that tax cuts will generate every dollar in tax cut will generate a dollar and a half in increased economic activity.
After she was appointed, they scrubbed that and replaced it with every dollar of government spending will increase economic activity by a dollar and a half.
So Christina Somers, uh Christina Roomer at at at uh at her base route level, is a supply cider.
But of course, she had to broom all that when she joined the BAM administration.
Now this soundbite has Mount Wauer terrified, terrified that banks are going to start running their own business again without being under the thumb of government.
People at Goldman are starting to talk about the possibility of paying off the bailout money ahead of schedule.
And I'm worried if you think if that's a good thing.
Are they doing this because of financial stability, or might they be talking about that simply to get out from under the thumb of the federal government and be allowed to go back to running the business the way they want to run it as opposed to the way the government wants them to run it?
Anytime an American company earns profits, that's a good thing.
In terms of firms paying off their uh money from the government, the TARP money that they took, that's gonna be something that that the regulators and the treasury will be working with with each bank uh to figure out if if it is exactly a sign that they're very healthy.
Uh, but we certainly are are gonna be looking at that.
Imagine how appalled can you be that these business these banks might go back to running their business the way they want to run it.
Uh as opposed to um the way the government wants them to run it.
They want to give back the TARP money, and and Obama's telling them no.
In many cases, you gotta keep the money.
You can't give the money back.
By the way, I had this in the stack yesterday and I didn't have a chance to get to it.
But this bankruptcy deal that they're proposing for General Motors, the government is thinking of trading.
And I knew this was coming.
I myself predicted, and I'll give you the next step after this one, because I've also predicted that.
The government, whatever the number of billions that they have loaned General Motors or bailed out General Motors with 13 to 15 billion, whatever it is, the government is saying if you go the bankruptcy route we want you to go, we'll take that $13 billion in equity in the company.
Yeah, it's in the yesterday's stack, it's right here somewhere.
I kept it for because the stuff I didn't get to yesterday.
So the government's gonna take some equity in General Motors.
That's that's their deal with if they go this soft bankruptcy route.
Now the next thing that'll happen after that, the equity will be transferred to Ron Gettelfinger.
Either all of it or a portion of it, the equity in General Motors will be transferred to the United Auto Workers, returning the nation's wealth to its rightful owners.
Mark my words.
Don't be surprised if it happens.
Um this is a continuation of the discussion with Matt Wauer and Christina Roomer.
Are you worried about companies like this and banking companies in particular going back to business as usual?
No, because one of the things that the president will talk about in his speech is how we are gonna be working on financial regulatory reform to make sure that we can't just go back to business as usual, uh, to make sure that we uh go back to a a stronger, more secure economy.
Now, folks, I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that the banks or any of these other companies that participated in bailout money were running, you know, above board businesses at every stretch, but most of them were.
Most private sector businesses are up and up.
The assumption is just the exact opposite inside the Obama administration.
Oh no, no, no, no.
We we were one of the things the president could talk about is how we're going to be working on regulatory reform to make sure they can't go back to business as usual, which means capitalism.
I want to share with you Obama's flourish yesterday.
This was the end of his big speech yesterday on what was a speech, Anya?
What the hell was it about?
Yeah, that's right, the economy.
All of it all of his speeches are about how he's going to rebuild America and so forth.
But this this was the flourish.
It is that house upon the rock, proud, sturdy, unwavering in the face of the greatest storm.
We'll not finish rebuilding America in one year or even many years.
But if we use this moment to lay that new foundation, if we come together and begin the hard work of rebuilding, if we persist and persevere against the disappointments and setbacks that will surely lie ahead, then I have no doubt that this house will stand and the dream of our founders will live on in our time.
Thank you.
God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.
The foundation.
He wants to redo the foundation.
I guarantee you, if he succeeds in this, the dream of our founders will have been killed.
It will not live on, and that is the precise point.
The Foundation, that's what Obama called his soothing talk about gutting and remaking the American economy, built on free markets, built on capitalism.
President Obama gently explained how the business model was flawed.
That Milton Friedman was a kook, that the greatest economy in history was built on quicksand.
And knowing that nothing of permanence could be built on quicksand, Obama proposed building a new foundation for our economy, one built on a rock.
What rock?
Marxism.
What mark what what what rock?
Socialism, hard to say.
All we get is the dreamy, silky speeches that promise a better day.
But my friends, we know what Obama's economics are built on.
We know what his new foundation is.
His new foundation is built on money we don't have.
His foundation is built on money created out of thin air and debt.
Debt that is an anchor around all of our collective necks, So heavy is the anchor, we the people can't move.
We're weighed down by a plan that's designed to pull off a seismic switcheroo.
We're going from an economy driven by the private sector to one driven by Obama.
Except we aren't told that.
We're told the exact opposite.
Barack Obama is building a new economy on a foundation of so much debt that he has reached into our children's and grandchildren's pockets.
They will be born broke.
It's called generational theft.
He calls it his new foundation.
The foundation is debt, printed money.
We know that, but we don't hear that.
And that's because Obama can't get what he wants by telling the truth.
No liberal can.
He got shut down when he told the truth about wanting to decrease charitable deductions.
He got shut down when he tried to pass health care costs onto wounded war veterans.
But Obama didn't know that was proposed.
Obama didn't know that was of course not.
The man who personally ordered naval SEAL snipers to wipe out three pirates.
The man who personally was in charge of the opera doesn't know what's going on.
In his own department of economic advisors.
He doesn't know what's going on in Homeland Security when they write these ridiculous reports targeting average Americans as right wing extreme.
No, no, no.
Obama doesn't know that, but he knew every detail and planned every detail, orchestrated every detail of the rescue at sea.
He won't make the mistake ever again of being honest about what he intends.
Because the times he has been honest, trying to pass health care costs onto wounded war veterans, wanting to decrease charitable deductions, hell was raised.
Borrowed and printed money spent on political pork is an investment.
Taxes are an investment.
I've been paying taxes since I was thirteen.
And this is probably the first time in my life that I think it's worthless.
I'm spending a lot in taxes.
I don't want it spending it, it's being confiscated.
And I don't I don't get any perceived value for this, not under this administration, not with what they're going to do, not with wrecking the very foundation of this country that allowed me and millions of other Americans to prosper.
It allowed all Americans to prosper, in fact, to whatever degree they chose.
But I have never felt more like throwing money down a bottomless pit.
I have never felt more like every tax dollar confiscated is a giant waste in my life than I feel today.
Class warfare?
Well, that's a prelude to fairness.
Confiscating money from greedy rich people, handed out to needy poor people who were cheated by the greedy rich folks, nothing more than redistributing income.
And that's fair too in the Obama world.
Taking over entire industries for their own good because the business owners have been too greedy.
Yes, that's wonderful.
That's going to rebuild America and our economy.
That's just fabulous.
Yet the most obvious greed visible daily comes from the power hungry people running our government.
If there is greed in our culture, it is every Democrat elected official and some Republicans to whom raising taxes and fees.
Mayor of Washington, D.C. wants to raise a fee on stoplights.
The greed is anywhere you have a government, from your local town to your city to your state, all the way up to the federal government.
That's where the greed is.
None of the money is theirs.
None of these people together going to work.
You could put all 535 members of Congress.
You put Obama and everybody in his administration.
You get everybody in the state government, put them to work.
They could not generate the kind of revenue they are taking from everybody else.
They couldn't produce it.
They haven't the talent, they haven't the wherewithal, they haven't the knowledge.
Government equals greed today, not the private sector, not individual Americans who are working in their own self-interest to improve the quality of their own lives and thus everybody else's lives around them.
And to call that greed is an affront and an insult to any normal person's sensibilities when the greed is clearly totally owned and operated by people in government.
There has never been a successful country or business or family built on lies.
There has never been so much debt heaped on so many by so few.
We folks are in the midst of the most gentle, tender, soft peddled power grab in history, and it's being done at the expense of liberty and prosperity, all in the name of expanding both those things.
Individual Americans are going to Have to pay Barack Obama's bills.
Some will pay in higher taxes, some will pay in higher prices from inflation, some will pay in higher energy prices due to limited supplies, some will pay carbon taxes, some will pay in lost jobs, but ultimately all of us are going to pay for the greed of Barack Obama.
Because the solely wholly owned concept of greed can be traced to the Oval Office.
Barack Obama himself is the greedy one.
Barack Obama could no more produce this country's GDP to redistribute it himself than anybody else could.
Yet his sense of entitlement to it, based on his self-perception of superior intelligence and compassion, and the power granted him by the Congress and the Constitution allow him, well, it's actually not granted.
They're just taking everybody's money.
Sweetly and gently, for a magic utopia, rebuilt foundation.
So gentle, so elegant are these speeches describing how all this is going to happen.
And it's nothing more than liberal selfishness, arrogance, conceit, and greed that drives this man and his administration.
How do we know this?
Well, we know this because economic growth does not arise from an economy built on debt or a devalued currency.
Economic growth does not arise from a rapidly expanding government.
Bureaucracy after bureaucracy after bureaucracy.
Ask our bankers.
The ChICOMs.
They're backing away from buying our debt as we speak.
One banker is less certain by the day we can pay off our debt, and Obama never mentioned the fact that describing a new economy he was building on what he called a rock.
The ChICOMs, the Chicoms look at our economy as a bad investment.
I I can't, I can't believe I'm saying this, but who should we believe?
When the ChICOMs look at the United States of America and see not a good investment opportunity, how in the name of Sam Hill can anybody in this country think that what's going on here is the way to build and grow an economy that has been the envy of the world up until now.
Quick timeout.
Gotta be back after this, to Pittsburgh and Dan, as we go back to the phones.
Nice to have you on the phone with us, sir.
Hello.
Hey, Rush, how are you?
Pretty good, sir.
Uh, I gotta get you to back up to the mortgage foreclosures.
And um I'm I must have missed that stitch on the fastball here, because uh they received all the money for this bailout for these mortgages, and now these people are still all being foreclosed upon.
That's double dipping.
I mean, that that's unbelievable.
I mean, they've been they've received the money for this, and then they're still sending the bill out to the people to pay it.
Well, I'm not I don't understand that.
Well, now wait a second.
I'm not sure that that's exactly how it works.
Now, remember the Obama administration has a couple of websites, refinancehome.org or some such BS.
I mean, there well, there are there are a couple of websites, these went on TV selling these websites, where if you uh if you're having mortgage problems, you go there and the government's gonna give you assistance and so forth.
That's the bottom line.
Obama's out telling people that this isn't gonna happen, and it's happening.
If you want to focus on possible bank double dipping, frankly, you know what?
If I were a banker, I'm just gonna shoot you straight here, old buddy O'Pell.
If I were a banker and since the late 90s, I've had a gun to my head, first from Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, and then Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack, and now the Obama administration to make loans to people who had no prayer of paying them back.
If I was forced to make loans to people who I didn't even have to check their credit, and there was no way they were gonna pay them back, and I and I have basically, if I've been forced to throw away money, and then forced to come up with new ways of packaging these loans, trying to give worthless papers some value, I probably would be looking for ways to get some of my money back.
If the federal gov if the federal government, if in this business, let's say someday the federal government tells me that I have to give away advertising to businesses that have a gross annual income of less than a half million dollars.
Let's just say they do that.
Because it's not fair they can't advertise.
Well, big guys can.
Okay, so I have to give the advertiser with a people I know who can't pay.
Well, what does that do to the people who are paying?
What does it do to my inventory?
And the government finally went if if if if it finally comes that this is hurting me and the government does care about my business, which wouldn't be the case, if I have a chance to get that money back somehow, I'm gonna do it.
Oh boy.
Now I don't know that that's what's happening.
I'm just speaking human nature.
I I uh all I know is that the banks and the people in the financial industry are so scared that they are never ever going to tell you the truth about what's happened to them, and they're not gonna tell you the truth about whatever their remedies are.
Because right now Obama's seen to it nobody has any sympathy for them.
They are the latest evil.
They are the latest SOBs.
These are the people who are greedy, and telling you the greed is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and up on Capitol Hill.
So if it's double dipping, and I don't think it is, how in the world can you call it double dipping when they tell you to loan money to people you know you're never gonna get back?
And then finally, after a while you can't take it anymore, you foreclose.
Well, uh, you know, there's there's still one thing I do have to take you to point on the language also that a teenager was shot in Somalia.
Well, I've got news for you.
A bunch of the teenagers that were inexperienced voted for Obama.
And that's that's exactly the the kind of mess we're sitting in right now.
Well, I don't know why you're taking me to task on it.
Uh three black teenagers were shot on a pirate ship.
There's no question.
Staying with the phones.
We go to Lincoln, Nebraska.
This is Melanie.
I'm glad you waited, Melanie.
Nice to have you here on the EIB network.
Hey, Rush.
It's the stay at home mom back in Lincoln, Nebraska, thankful that you're uh speaking the truth.
Thank you, madam, very much.
I'm uh honored and happy to be able to still be able to do that.
You bet.
Well, I was calling about the old tea parties, and I uh uh found out about our local tea party here and called my state senator uh to uh see if he was gonna be present, and uh his uh scheduler that I talked to informed me that they were not allowed to go to those things um to protest because um i it's uh against the government and uh wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, oh, hold it a minute.
You had somebody in the office of your state senator?
Yep, Senator Ben Nelson.
Well, no, he's a U.S. Senator.
Okay, that's why I was getting confused.
United States Senator Ben Nelson.
Yes.
Somebody in his office said that Nelson couldn't go.
Yes, because it's a protest and and government and he government officials can't go to protest against the government.
And that that's what the original Tea Party was for was to uh protest and uh that that that may well be, I frankly don't care.
Uh probably not true, but let me ask you a question, Melanie.
I'm very, very curious here.
Yeah.
Why did you want to know if a Democrat Senator was gonna show up?
Well, because Tea Party.
Well, because I figure if uh he's gonna represent me and spend billions of my dollars, then he ought to come and hear what the people that he's representing representing things.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
That's that's civics 101.
That's what they teach you in the sixth grade how it works.
I guarantee you that the people in his office are just grinding their teeth today over people like you calling you divisive troublemakers.
That's exactly that's exactly what she said it was.
That it was too divisive and they wouldn't go.
Yeah, yeah, I'm not surprised.
You're out there stirring the excrement, and this is not good and so forth.
Protesting the government's not good and so forth.
The reason your senator isn't going to go is because he knows nobody wants to see him there.
He's the one being protested, and everybody like him.
Yeah.
Well, uh uh I I did know that, and I called him on purpose to see just what they would have to Say and I just thought it was interesting that they uh and she also even said that none of their staff could even go.
So that's such a crock.
Yeah.
That's I want to know what law that is that keeps American citizens who happen to work from the government from going to one of the I'll guarantee you there are gonna be a lot of government employees trying to infiltrate these things.
The government government employee unions are guarantee ya that they're gonna be troublemakers out there trying to make these events look like something other than what they really are.
Well, yeah, and I don't know if you remember, but Ben Nelson was the one that he worked the deal with the three Republicans that went along with the with the stimulus or bailout package, and uh so anyway, he'll good luck to him in reelection, so work the deal with the Republicans, hell.
They're all complicit in this.
This is a debacle.
Well, it is, and I I say it doesn't matter if you're Republican or Democrat on this spending stuff because I mean even Bush uh spent a bunch of our money that he shouldn't have, and he had an opportunity to not do that, and he just went along with it.
So everybody's trying to buy a legacy.
Everybody's trying to buy love.
Everybody's trying to buy respect, everybody's trying to buy reelection.
Everybody's trying to buy something with everybody else's money.
I'm glad you called out there, Melanie.
John in Dallas, nice to have you with us on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Hey Rush, how's it going?
Good.
I am here at a tea party in South Lake, Texas, which is right between Dallas and Fort Worth, and it is amazing.
It is electrifying, man.
I I came up here, I knew I was coming today, and didn't know how big a crowd was here, but it's in a plaza in a uh shopping center area, and you can't park for a half a mile uh close.
I mean, you've got to be a half a mile away or better.
There's gotta be five thousand people here right now and more streaming in all the time.
It is amazing.
It's electrifying the charge that's going through here is phenomenal.
The signs are awesome.
One of the best ones I saw is Obama, you're taxing my patience.
And uh the speaker, what uh one of the guys speaking right now, you you know well, so but it's it it's it's just amazing.
Uh, I hope this is going on everywhere across the nation like that.
I hear some raucous applause in the background there, John.
Uh what's causing that?
Uh well uh Mark Davis is speaking and he's asking you know, people questions about you're tired of being taxed enough, or you're tired of being uh taxed uh from the standpoint of the you know the imposing death tax that they're talking about other things, and there's no there's no dissenters here.
Uh the everybody is strongly in favor of all this.
Have you had any had any malcontent leftists from Acorn or Move On show up and try to get in the way?
I haven't seen any yet, but uh I'm still filtering around to see if I can see any of the malcontents, but you got everywhere from senior citizens here to to kids.
I'm looking at a kid that's that's uh eight years old or or or a little older out here.
And I mean it's a it's a joyous event.
Well, if you run into that eight-year-old kid or any other eight-year-old kid say, Hi, it's nice to meet you.
How does it feel to be broke?
I'll I'll pass it on.
I just don't want to ruin their day right now, you know.
But if you I think they know their day's ruin, they're just trying to do something about it.
Yeah, and he had a he had a great line for any of the the Democrats that that did show up here that you know want to be a part of it because they're opposed to the uh to the taxing also.
He said he said, you know, if you're a democrat, show up, stick your hand out and say, Hey, I may be a Democrat, but I'm tired of this too.
Glad to meet you.
And he's and uh, you know, the crowd went nuts, you know, because you know, we need everybody fighting for this, not just one side.
Well, I think I think these tea parties are gonna be uh uh comprised of a mixture of people from various you know, political walks of life, identities, parties, ideologies, and uh and so forth.
Well, I just want to prepare you out there, John.
You're here at this massive thing at a sharp shopping center plaza, you got a park a half mile away, and I guarantee you by the time this event gets reported on pre maybe not in the Metroplex.
They they might have no choice but to report it honestly there, but the time of national media gets through with this, you'd be just a bunch of kooks.
You know, you you're just a bunch of right wing extremists fed up, bitter clingers, uh upset.
They're gonna they're gonna do everything they can to impugn uh your honor and integrity.
And I'm glad you called.
I appreciate the report.
Lansing, Michigan's next.
Here uh Mary.
Nice to have you on the program, Mary.
Megadinos Rush from Lansing, Michigan.
Thank you.
It was great.
It was it was the best thing I've ever attended.
Never been to a demonstration before, but everybody was so enthusiastic.
Joe the Plumber gave a great speech.
Friendly, all the right wing extremists were there.
We're all there.
Wait, Joe the Plumber was in Lansing.
Yes, he was.
They must be flying Joe the Plumber around to a bunch of these things today.
Joe the plumber's from Ohio.
That's right, and he's going to be in Atlanta this evening.
Oh, that's right.
I've heard he's going to be in Atlanta.
Well, everybody's gonna.
That that thing in Atlanta does gonna be a jockey for who's running that one.
Hannity's gonna be there.
Gingrich is gonna be there.
Joe the Plumber is gonna be that's that's gonna be its own entertainment.
Above above and beyond.
We wish you would have been in Lansing, Roger.
No, I didn't go.
I you know, I I had nothing to do with these.
I I'm too famous to go to one of these things.
I'm I I can't overshadow these things.
These things are these things are bubbled up from the grassroots.
There's no nobody out there that can take credit for these things.
I'm just ecstatic that they're happening.
I this is an amazing confidence builder for me.
And we want you to know that we uh people were talking about you, they were talking about Sean, they were talking about Mark Levin, and it's all it's all coming together for us.
We're gonna win this thing.
Well, I appreciate that.
Again, way to feel way to feel positive and optimistic about it.
Mary, thanks much.
We have to go a brief time out.
We'll be back and continue with more on the EIB network after this.
Yeah, hang on, I'm looking to see if we have something here in the audio sound, but we don't.
Well, anyway.
Anderson Cooper, CNN.
Had David Rodham Gurgen on his uh show, I guess, comment on Obama's economic speech and the uh tea parties.
And uh the had the I guess the correspondent uh Ali Velshi, who is the economic expert on CNN, and Cooper had asked David Rodham Gurgen about the Republicans' positioning in response to the speech, and uh David Rodham Gergen touted how the Republican Party's in disarray and they've not yet come up with a compelling alternative, one that has gained popular recognition, and Anderson Cooper replied teabagging, they've got teabagging.
And then he said it's hard to talk when you're teabagging.
Now, Snerdley, you're acting like you know what that means.
Um, I I'm uh you have to do this on your own, ladies and gentlemen.
I'm not gonna define this for you.
But there are two definitions of the urban dictionary of a teabagger.
And I can tell you what the first one is.
Multiple meanings.
One who carries large bags of packaged tea for shipment.
Number two.
Well, I can't say this one.
I just can't.
It's a family program.
Spring break.
But it has nothing to do with tea and has nothing to do with bags.
Anderson Cooper ought to know what teabagging is.
I'll give you the first definition.
The first part of the second definition, the urban dictionary of teabagging.
A man that squats on top of a woman's...
One who has a job or talent that is low in social status is another definition.
Another definition is a person who is unaware they have said or done something foolish, childlike, noobish, lame, or inconvenient.
And I can't tell you definition number five.
That's there are five different definitions of teabagger number one.
Tea bagger number two, that's the one that I cannot.
You just gonna have to look.
Teabagger number one, definition.
There are five definitions of teabagger number one.
Second definition of the five.
A man that squats on top of a woman's.
Think dipping a teabag into a cup.
Think of how you steep a cup of tea.
And it is also practiced by same-sex couples.
So when Anderson Cooper says it's hard to talk when you're teabagging.
Because these tea parties are not about teabagging, and they're not about tea bags.
Who's next?
Who wants to follow that?
Oh, it's it's it's uh let's see.
Rabbi Harris from Detroit.
Rabbi, nice to have you on the program, sir.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Ditto's Russian, you know, I just had lunch.
I haven't.
By the grace of God, I'll keep it down.
Uh but uh a couple of things.
The first thing, and this is what I told uh Snerdley, is that uh I guess these guys cannot decide whether we're just this uh insignificant little fringe that's not a blip on the radar, or we're whether we're the biggest threat to this country since the other Janet Janet Reno had to send troops into Waco.
I guess they can't decide.
What are we?
Are we nothing or are we this terrible threat?
Well, it depends on the perception, depends on who you're asking.
Uh I think the Obama administration, the American left, the Democrat Party, looks at these things as a genuine threat.
I mean, th the the dream the dream of the Obama administration was to have everybody lemming-like following along because of the eloquence and the uh the brilliance of uh of Obama and so forth that isn't happening.
And and this, you know, this is spontaneous.
This is this is real ordinary Americans rising up.
So regardless of the numbers here, this is something the administration has to take seriously.
And the media is too.
You can tell the way the media is reacting to them.
The media is trying to play it down, is no big deal, or impugning the people involved.
Uh I I just think that that it's it it's it represents a serious threat to these people that's gonna have to be swatted down.
Uh apparently so.
I'm uh I'm on page four of this uh Homeland Security report.
Uh my wife wisely said that I should print it out so that nobody could accuse us of just fabricating this or just hearsay or whatever.
Uh I'm on page four.
And so far they've included everything from those who oppose abortion to those who uh and here it says anti-government, I'm on page four.
Anti-government conspiracy theories and end time prophecies.
Okay, so let's see.
Now we're targeting evangelical Christians, uh, anybody who's pro-life.
And you know, it's it's it's stunning.
Oh, don't wait.
You you you'll you you have yet to run across people who are opposed to they say in the report immigration.
It's not immigration, it's illegal immigration that people are opposed to.
Uh there's ever the every uh image of a conservative is covered in this report, and you'll see it, Rabbi, as you read it, and they're characterized as right-wing extremists, even returning military personnel from Afghanistan and Iraq.
They even quote later in the report, you'll see it, Timothy McVeigh.
Uh well, it shows the dishonesty of language that I consider to be characteristic of the left.
Uh, they'll talk about immigration when what we're talking about is illegal illegal immigration.
They'll talk about stem cell research when what we're talking about is embryonic stem cell research.
It it's a dearth of honesty on the left, and it doesn't matter.
Let me tell you something.
I want to I want to take you back to 1995, April 24th of 95.
This is not new in terms of how the left attempts to demonize average ordinary Americans.
This is Bill Clinton.
Um, on the uh Oklahoma City bombing.
We hear so many loud and angry voices in America today, whose sole goal seems to be to try to keep some people as paranoid as possible, and the rest of us all torn up and upset with each other.
They spread hate.
They leave the impression that, by their very words, that violence is acceptable.
You ought to see, I'm sure you are now seeing the reports of some things that are regularly said over the airwaves in America today.
It is time we all stood up and spoke against that kind of reckless speech and behavior.
That was uh in Minneapolis, President Clinton, and that's the famous soundbite where President Clinton attempted to blame me and talk radio for inciting hatred and anti-government sentiment that led Timothy McVeigh and his band of wackos to blow up the Oklahoma City, the Mura building, the Federal building there.
So the the um uh efforts here of the Obama administration to mischaracterize the people in the DHS report that you're reading and in the tea parties today is standard operating procedure for the Democrat Party.
Which is why this should be seen as uh Clinton administration number two at work.
By the way, uh my wife and I are going to be going to our local tea party over in Troy, Michigan, and I found a really good quote.
Rabbi, I have I have to stop you because I've got a commercial break I cannot be flexible with.
I'm sorry to be rude, but we've got to go be back.
Try this headline in the UK Times.
Why the master of America's new first mutt is no longer in good order with President Sarkozy.
