Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Salt Lake City up in arms over Rush Limbaugh and the One World Cafe.
Topeka, Kansas, up in arms over Rush Limbaugh and National Obama Day.
Rush Limbaugh, annoying the left, coast to coast.
Greetings, my friends, and welcome.
It's Rush Limbaugh and what's left of the United States of America from the Excellence in Broadcasting.
Well, have you seen what the Treasury Secretary did today?
I mean, folks, we're bailing out everybody.
We are bailing out credit card companies.
You are going to be paying for people's dinners that they are not paying their credit card companies for enjoying.
800-282-2882 is the number if you want to be on the program.
The email address, LRushbo at EIBNet.com.
I don't care.
I don't care what Henry Paulson does.
Nobody can complain about this.
I mean, you can complain, but it ain't going to get you anywhere.
Henry Paulson, the Treasury Secretary, was empowered to do whatever the hell he wanted to do.
Can I read this to you again?
The bailout bill.
Barney Frank's even mad.
Barney Frank throwing a tantrum up there at his congressional hearing today.
This is not what the money was for.
It's my food.
They took my food away.
This is my money, money.
It's nobody's food.
Everybody just, nobody's happy here.
Paulson, Paulson this morning apologized to the world for causing this worldwide financial collapse.
But here, short title, Section 1, Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, Section 2, Purposes provides authority to the Treasury Secretary to restore liquidity and stability to the U.S. financial system and to ensure the economic well-being of Americans.
Folks, he is a singular person with the power to do whatever he wants with this $700 billion.
And everything that's happened is we predicted it here.
You instinctively knew it.
When we said we're going to bail out the banks, we're going to buy some of the troubled assets.
And by the way, we're not doing that anymore.
Paulson's up, up, up, never mind.
Never mind.
The $700 billion, we're not going to use it as originally planned.
We're not going to buy up some of that bad paper.
So now credit card companies want their share.
Big Auto wants its share.
It ain't going to be long before big media asks for a bailout.
Time Magazine today is asking for volunteers to take a pay cut.
Can you not?
Isn't that just fabulous?
Time magazine asking for volunteers first to take a pay cut.
What happens if nobody volunteers?
Well, which liberal journalists will be first?
They are into sacrifice.
They've been wanting us to sacrifice for the longest time.
We'll keep a sharp eye on this.
I want to find out which liberal journalist will be the first to volunteer to take a pay cut.
Oh, and folks.
Look, I know there's really nothing to laugh about out there, but I'm out of laugh lines.
There's now the Bosnians have started a whole new clothing line named after Obama because of his elegant sartorial splendor.
Bosnians are going to make Hugo boss stuff, apparently, to factory in Bosnia.
So they're going to be an Obama fashion line.
But get this.
The Associated Press Obama.
I'm sorry.
Sorry, I know this is not really worth laughing at.
I can't help it.
Are you ready?
People, it says AP poll.
The public seems willing to wait on tax cuts.
Isn't this a convenient poll?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, people want the tax cuts, but they may be willing to wait while President-elect Obama takes on the larger issue of fixing the economy.
This is absolute bull bleep.
They're manufacturing news here.
They're just covering for Obama at every turn.
He is nothing but an image right now.
And when this guy gets in gear, I warn you, it's not going to be pretty.
Look at him, we've already got the Obama recession in full swing.
The market down 267 points right now.
It really plummeted when Paulson went out there and changed.
And by the way, we're not going to do what we said we're going to do.
Yes, only 36% say trimming income taxes should be a top priority when the new president takes office, according to a new AP GFK poll.
That was less than half the 84% who cited improving the economy as a number one goal.
Do you think the two might go hand in hand?
But that's not all in this poll, ladies and gentlemen.
Until the weakening economy overtook Iraq as the number one problem on the public's mind, Obama's pledge to set a timetable for withdrawing troops was his highest profile issue.
But now this poll says that the Iraq war has faded as a paramount public concern.
Only half of the people say they want Obama to get us out of there.
The other half say, hey, go ahead and stay 100 years.
Obama's president now.
All you can do is go to Iraq, stay 100 years, do whatever you want to do.
We're cool.
We don't want our tax cuts, and we don't want, we don't care about getting out of Iraq.
We just want our health care.
That's the number one thing they want in the poll from AP.
They want their health care.
Now, the problem with that is when you look at exit polling data, do you know where health care showed up on people's minds in terms of how they voted?
Something like 5%, 9%.
And yet here comes AP with a purely, this has to be a bogus poll.
Nothing purposeful here other than to cover for Obama.
This, the purpose of this is to tell you, forget the tax cut.
The 95% of you were thinking you're going to get one.
You can forget it.
All right.
Henry Paulson, the Treasury Secretary, everybody was clamoring to hear what he had to say, and he went out there and he made his remarks.
And the headline, the headline pretty much says it all.
Paulson says troubled assets will not be purchased.
Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said Wednesday, the $700 billion government rescue program will not be used to purchase troubled assets as originally planned.
He said the administration will continue to use $250 billion of the program to purchase stock in banks as a way to bolster their balance sheets and encourage them to resume more normal lending.
Let's go to the audio soundbites.
In fact, let's just go back on my own program, October 3rd.
This ladies and gentlemen is what I said.
One of the things the president said was that this is now going to enable the banks to start lending money again.
Now, they tried this in Europe earlier this week.
Some banks said we need some liquidity, and so the central banking organization over there blew in $150 billion, and the banks did not lend it.
They deposited it.
They invested it, holding it for when times improve.
I will be interested to see if indeed the banks start lending money after all of this.
Well, let's go to the Treasury Secretary who spoke to the nation and the world this morning.
And you be the judge here, what he's doing.
Although this program's primary purpose is stabilizing our financial systems, banks must also continue lending.
During times like these, with a slowing economy and some deterioration in credit conditions, even the healthiest banks tend to become more risk-averse and restrain lending, and regulators' actions have reinforced this lending restraint in the past.
With a stronger capital base, our banks will be more confident and better positioned to play their necessary role to support economic activity.
If you listen to the whole thing, he pretty much was begging the banks to start lending.
They're not lending.
The whole, can I take you back?
Dare I remind you, this was so severe, this was such a crisis that if we didn't do this in 24 hours, why, buildings would collapse, streets would buckle, the oceans would rise and flood oceanside estates.
It was all going to come.
We had to do this.
Even the drive-bys, we have to do it.
We can't wait.
This is such a crisis.
We can't wait.
Now, all of a sudden, the original purpose, we've broomed, and now the banks are not lending.
And he's begging the banks to lend.
It was all predictable.
Now, that was the October surprise.
I'm convinced that going out there is, we've got this crisis.
We cannot wait.
It cannot wait.
It cannot wait.
We cannot wait a day.
We cannot wait an hour.
We've got to have action.
And remember when the Republicans in the House voted down the bailout?
All hell broke loose then.
So now it's November.
And the plan has changed.
The plan has changed.
The October surprise has become the November surprise.
And the Obama transition team is now capitalizing on the opportunity to make news all day.
And now everything's different.
Everything is different.
And get this.
I'm sure.
I don't know who wrote this for Paulson, but it had to be somebody from the Obama administration.
We in the U.S. are well aware and humbled by our own failings and recognize our special responsibility to the global economy.
The U.S. housing correction exposed gaping shortcomings in the outdated U.S. regulatory system, shortcomings in other regulatory regimes, and excesses in U.S. and European financial institutions.
Well, I mean, he's on the same page with Barack Obama.
Right there, folks, right in line with the new feel of the Obama years, basically apologizing to the world for his own country, apologizing to the world for the United States of America.
Welcome to the Obama years.
Speaking of the Obama years, gay marriage is now legal in Connecticut because a judge says so.
So this judge is like the Treasury Secretary, and they're going to start performing gay marriage ceremonies in Connecticut pretty soon.
This is only the beginning, folks.
Wait until Obama appoints hundreds more like this judge.
The American people voted for this.
They may not realize yet that they voted for this, but they did.
The power of the individual is threatened in this country, as we see with all of these bailouts.
Just let them go under.
Just let bankruptcy take its course for some of these outfits.
Now we're bailing out credit card companies.
By the way, you might have seen the other day that the Treasury, meaning Paulson, who is an emperor, he has by law total power.
Solitary, unitary power to use this $700 billion.
And that's a joke, too.
He's easily up over a trillion now, however, he wishes.
So American Express, and I have an American Express card.
And I, frank, folks, I pay my bills all the time.
I have never missed one.
I've never missed an American Express bill.
But there are a lot of deadbeat American Express customers who said, hello, I'm not paying.
And more and more Americans are going to figure this out.
The hell, don't pay.
Don't pay your mortgage.
Don't pay your credit card because look what's happening.
Look at people respond to behavior.
Why should people who are paying everything they owe on time be the ones to bail out those who don't?
So American Express asked to be named an actual bank holding company, wanted to become a bank.
And the Treasury said, okay, fine.
You're now a bank.
The reason that they did that, the sole reason, was so that American Express, watch them cancel me now, so that American Express could get their hands on the $700 billion.
That was the sole reason why they had to be changed to a bank holding company or whatever the structure was.
So now we are paying for other people's dinners.
What the hell is this?
When and where does this stop?
This has moved to a whole new level today with Paulson's speech.
And here's a, listen to what experts are saying.
U.S. government could be entering a bottomless pit of bailouts if it starts propping up failing companies outside the financial sector, including the struggling auto industry, economists say.
But see, I think this is exactly by design.
And everybody's getting mad, and I think this is a circumstance that the Obama people like.
Confusion, chaos.
And the only solution is D.C.
The only solution is a quote-unquote strong government.
Just in time for Barack Obama.
Try this headline.
Not headline.
Try this lead story.
First paragraph, New York Times.
Excuse me.
I'm trying to adopt the proper vocal tone here for this.
All right, here you go.
The world is waiting for President-elect Obama.
And some of its most prominent leaders are flying into the United States this weekend, clamoring to meet with him.
But they will have to keep on waiting.
Obama is not going to the financial confab that President Bush is convening.
The world is waiting for Barack Obama.
So Paulson, can you, I still, I can't believe this.
Paulson goes out and apologizes to the world for the United States of America causing the worldwide financial crisis that we are in.
Now, forget for a second that this is right out of the Barack Obama school.
We are well aware in the United States, and we are humbled by our own failings.
We recognize our special responsibility to global economy.
Let me tell you, some of these tinhorn third world pot-bellied dictators out there, they hear something like that, and the first thing they're going to do is stick their hand out and say, pay us back.
Make good on the damage you have caused.
And we're going to have a guy in the White House who says, fine and dandy, I already got a global end poverty program going through the U.N.
I think we should make it good for these countries that we have destroyed with capitalism.
American Express, they do make you pay the full balance in 30 days.
And Auntie, there have been occasions where my check got lost in the mail.
That's seldom.
You realize how odd that is too?
Sometimes, you know, I always get the bill.
The bill never gets lost in the mail.
Sometimes my check has gotten lost, and of course they didn't get it in time of the due date.
And I've missed just one payment.
Man, here come the threatening notices, the threats to call lawyers, a collection agency, we're going to destroy your credit rating and so forth.
Even after a 40 or 30-year track record, I'm wondering how do people get away with still having their cards without paying the balance.
I mean, well, yeah, I know they offer a blue card and so forth, but you pay off, you know, whatever you want to pay off every month.
Yeah, they finally had to do that to compete with the other guys in that way, but still.
So, anyway, what we're doing now, folks, we are paying for other people's dinners.
The thing is, we're not getting anything for it.
This has an upside, however.
When you pay for other people's dinners and get nothing for it, there is a teaching moment.
Women can finally learn how men feel many times on dates.
By the way, we have Bill Goertz coming up in the next segment after the bottom of the hour break.
New book out, Failure Factory.
How unelected bureaucrats, Liberal Democrats, and big government Republicans are undermining America's security and leading us to war.
Very, very comprehensive study of the bloated bureaucracy, foreign policy problems, and some interesting data that Bill has dug up about the Treasury Secretary, Henry Paulson.
We'll talk to him as that next segment commences.
Let's go to the audio sound bites.
As I told you, Salt Lake City up in arms over Rush Limbaugh and the One World Cafe, KTBX, ABC for Eyeball News at 10.
A portion of the correspondent, Susan Woods, report about me and the One World Cafe.
This is one world where everyone who walks through the door eats, whether they're rich or poor.
But Rush Limbaugh says it's an American embarrassment.
At One World, there is no menu, just a variety of healthy food.
You can pick and choose what you'd like and pay what you think is fair.
But while the food may have a good taste, Rush Limbaugh says the cafe's concept flies in the face of good American business practices.
I think she still thinks that she was doing a very altruistic, very compassionate, humanitarian thing.
Well, how are you going to do that when you let the customers decide what they're going to pay you?
One World, like the rest of society, is facing challenges in tight economic times.
Till now, they operated without time carts and kept a very loose rein on costs.
Denise says she's restructured the business, including hiring new employees and a new head chef.
But Rush says her business concept is stupid.
It's not just mismanagement.
These are a bunch of liberals.
These are liberals playing games with the reality known as life.
We have to suspend this audio soundbite to go to an obscene profit timeout, something the One World Cafe does not know anything about.
And we're back, ladies and gentlemen.
A lot to do here.
By the way, we're going to do Open Line Friday on Wednesday today since I am going to be gone tomorrow and Thursday.
It's the annual Limbaugh Open, a bunch of golf buddies in town for the weekend.
It's an annual thing.
Need to recharge out there, folks.
So we've got guest hosts coming in tomorrow.
We're joined now by Bill Goertz, another book, a prolific writer.
His book is The Failure.
Now, Bill, it's a long title.
I'm going to mention a title in full once, and I'm just going to call it The Failure Factory after that.
Is that all right?
That's great.
Failure Factory: How Unelected Bureaucrats, Liberal Democrats, and Big Government Republicans are undermining America's Security and Leading Us to War.
Now, your focus is the Pentagon.
That's your beat for the Washington Times.
But I mean, You cover in this book the financial sector in a way.
I mean, you write about Henry Paulson.
Some of you refer to them as the Goldman Sachs gang.
Tell people what's in your book about the current circumstance.
Yeah, this is a different look for me in terms of in the past I've focused on national security issues, mostly from threats from abroad, North Korea and China.
This is really a look at a broken, bloated, highly politicized in the leftward direction government bureaucracy.
And I argue that it's not simply a nuisance or a fetter to effective government, that it's actually dangerous in that it's creating policies that are projecting weakness.
And weakness is provocative, and I think we're in real trouble.
It's got to be one of the highest priorities to try and fix this bureaucracy.
Well, the problem, the bureaucracy gets bloated with career appointees.
Bill, tell people.
I mean, I tell them they'll hear it from you.
You're an expert.
All during the run-up to the Iraq war and after it started, we would see battle plans leaked.
Front page New York Times, front page Washington Post.
These were some of them were factual, some of them were incorrect.
But the point was to undermine the effort.
Now, those leaks have to come from the Pentagon.
They had to come from state or CIA.
These are people undermining the Bush policy here.
And people think that the president populates these places with his people and his team, and they don't understand how this operates.
Exactly.
It's kind of like the inmates running the asylum in this case.
You have these bureaucrats that are out of control.
They're predominantly left liberal in political outlook.
And most importantly, they're conservative haters.
They hate conservatives.
They hate conservative policies.
And that's really their focus in trying to change things in a liberal direction, whether it's on the Iraq war, whether it's on the war of ideas against Islamist extremism, or as we've seen in the policy that Paulson did towards China, a completely appeasement-oriented policy towards China.
Well, the bureaucracy that you write about is now clearly ecstatic, I would think, with the incoming Obama administration.
What does that pretend?
I mean, how is this going to lead us to war?
That's in your title.
Yes.
Basically, my argument in the failure factory is that the bureaucrats do not want the United States to be a strong power.
And they want to project weakness, conciliation.
We're going to see arms control policies that have failed 100% of the time in the past because, as is always the case, the U.S. abides by these agreements, and the people that we do these agreements with violate them, whether it's North Korea or Russia in the past.
So we've got to make sure, and this is the role of the press and talk radio, is to expose these press.
Bill, have you seen the latest AP poll?
The latest APA.
People don't want their tax cuts now.
They're willing to delay the tax cuts because Obama has such a hard job ahead.
In fact, they're not even that concerned.
We're getting out of Iraq now.
AP poll today.
The press is going to hold the bureaucracy accountable.
They're going to build them up.
They're going to help hide what goes on in there.
I mean, the press and the bureaucrats are obviously, I mean, they're practically joined at the hip.
Exactly.
Hopefully the Washington Times, my paper, won't be in that position.
Well, no, but as such, you'll be like the rest of talk radio, and you'll be attacked.
What's the most devastating thing in this book?
People read this, and I don't want you to give it all away.
Sure.
The most important thing is the broken intelligence community.
Basically, I report on this recent national intelligence estimate on Iran, that this was really a power play by liberal intelligence analysts to undermine international pressure on Iran to halt its illegal nuclear program.
That's the most significant case, and it's had far-reaching consequences.
We now are facing an Iran with missiles of increasing range, and very soon down the road, in a matter of months or years, a nuclear weapon for those missiles.
Moscow announced yesterday, Bill, that Raul Castro will visit Moscow in January or February, early next year.
There's no word on whether Raul will stop in Washington and pick up Barack Obama for the trip.
But it's deja vu here.
We've got the KGB back running Russia.
We've got them making deals, now trying to form a new alliance with Cuba.
We've got the drive-by media salivating over the fact that Camelot is back, which means that civil rights leaders, black civil rights leaders, will be wiretapped.
We just don't know who.
What are we to make, seriously, of the effort by Russia and China to form another alliance?
This is part of an anti-U.S. alliance that's emerging.
China is basically the leader of it.
But wait a minute.
If we're going to be so nice, if we're going to disarm, if we're going to make all these deals, if we're going to appease, if we're going to cut our own selves down to size, first, could you explain if there is an answer to this, the motivation of the left?
Why do they think that this country needs to be torn down?
What benefit to the country and to the world is there for this to happen?
And then when they do all these things and it still doesn't result in us being loved, we have these deals like the Russians and the Cubans trying to put together an alliance and so forth.
What is there to gain by doing this?
What is their motivation?
It's clear to me that it's become an ideology of the liberal left that the United States is the cause of the world's problems.
These are the Blame America First liberals.
They are now in power, and we're going to see an aggressive campaign to basically denigrate the United States.
Now, they will couch their things by saying, oh, yes, we love America.
We want America to be great.
But we are going to see anti-Americanism fostered around the world by this lack of soft power.
We often hear about the liberals talk about soft power.
Soft power is great, but we don't have any capability for that right now.
The State Department is basically a diplomatic post.
They don't understand the threats facing the world, the enemies that are out there that want to destroy this country.
Are you concerned about this Russia-China thing?
Or Russia-Cuba thing?
Guy, you interrupted.
You said Cuba.
China's behind this?
Well, it's part of this emerging anti-U.S. axis that we're seeing.
The Chinese are tacitly behind it, but they don't want to disrupt trade to make money from us.
But really, I think when historians look back, they're going to talk about who lost Russia in much the way they talked about who lost China.
We had a great opportunity to coax China in a democratic direction.
And just through neglect of the past 10 years or so, we've seen Russia slide back into anti-democratic, anti-U.S. policies.
Well, nobody seems to be doing anything about it.
We watch these Hugo Chavez ditto.
We watch these circumstances percolate all around the world.
Terrorism is still rife and so forth.
And the enemies of this country are making it very clear who they are and what their intentions are.
And yet we get stories in the paper.
The world is waiting for Barack Obama.
The world now loves the United States of America.
We're being prepped here with an image, demagoguery, charismatic demagoguery from we don't even know who this guy is.
Well, some of us know who he is, but it's a frightening international situation.
Are you at all confident?
Do you have any thoughts on whether the Obama people and whoever you think he's going to name at state and in the Pentagon, do you think that they have what it takes to understand reality when it hits them in the face?
Absolutely not.
That's the biggest problem.
We're going to see what his policies will be by the people he chooses.
I point out in the book that one of his key advisors was a guy named John Holam, who was one of the most appeasement-oriented arms controllers during the Clinton administration, who basically tried to extend the anti-ballistic missile treaty to cover short-range missile defenses, which horrified most of the people in the Pentagon who said, Look, we need defenses against short-range missiles.
So, that's the kind of thing we're going to see.
We're already seeing differences emerge with the Obama transition people and the Polish leader on needed missile defenses in Europe.
Bill Goertz, I appreciate your time.
It's always nice to talk to you.
The name of the book is The Failure Factory, folks: How Unelected Bureaucrats, Liberal Democrats, and Big Government Republicans are undermining America's security and leading us to war.
By the way, two more questions before I have to go to the break: what war, where's the war going to be?
And is there any way that this can be stopped?
Is there any way we can deal with this?
Yeah, I think the biggest threat facing the country is a future war with China.
The Chinese are building up their military forces on a war footing.
They're cranking out new submarines like sausages.
And our leadership is basically in a delusionary mode by claiming over and over again that there's no threat from China.
And that is projecting weakness, which is going to lead to some miscalculation down the road, I predict, in the not-too-distant future.
The solution is we need tough policies.
We need to project peace through strength.
We need to get back to the Reagan principles of conservative national security policy.
Well, we're going to have to wait on that for a while because Obama clearly does not hold those views to be compatible with his own.
Bill, thanks very much.
I appreciate it.
Thank you very much.
Bill Goertz, the failure factory, brief timeout.
We'll come back in just a second.
Remember, we're doing Open Line Friday on Wednesday today, so whatever you want to talk about, have at it, folks.
When we go to the phones, the content of the program, as I courageously endeavor to make happen, is all yours.
Back after this.
The world is waiting for Barack Obama.
That is creepy.
That is just creepy.
We have seen this before.
So we have an AP poll out there, ladies and gentlemen.
People say tax cuts can wait.
Yes.
And we can stay in Iraq for 100 years now.
It doesn't matter.
Obama is in charge.
And you know what?
They're already running approval numbers on Barack Obama.
His approval rating right now is 64%.
Barack Obama, 64% approval rating.
I am waiting for the first reelection polls.
Before he's inaugurated, a matchup of, say, Obama versus Romney, Obama versus Palin, Obama versus Jendel.
You wait.
I'm going to predict to you that before he's inaugurated, we're going to get from the drive-by media 2012 re-election polls.
We're going to get approval numbers practically three times a week during the Obama transition from the politico.
President-elect Barack Obama, on whom the world is waiting, wants a high-profile point person to oversee reforms in the ailing auto industry, according to members of Obama's transition team.
So Obama wants to appoint an auto czar in another story: Obama to create White House Office of Urban Policy.
What this is, folks, is dividing the nations into chunks to be managed by the government.
Then we're going to have a White House office of women's studies, a White House office of Hispanic Outreach, a White House office managing the banks if they don't start lending money, a White House office to do this.
We're going to balkanize all this.
We're just chopping up into little chunks and managed by the federal government.
By the way, I need to correct myself.
This is very rare that this needs to happen.
But I misspoke about Time magazine.
It's not that they are asking for volunteers for pay cuts.
They're asking for volunteers of buyouts.
Time Inc.'s biggest magazines have put the call for at least 83 volunteers to quit.
83 volunteers to take buyouts, according to memos and staffers at the company.
I think Time just applied for hell.
The whole newspaper industry just call Paulson, say we want some of the bailout money.
And that will really tick me off.
It's bad enough that I'm paying my credit card bills and some people aren't.
And we're going to bail them out.
If they start bailing out the drive-by media, then I'm going to...
That's going to be...
That's going to be...
That won't go down.
That won't go down.
All right.
Now, we're going to go back to the One World Cafe soundbite.
We're interrupted here by the need to make our obscene profit here at the EIB network.
So here we go again from Salt Lake City up in arms over my comments about the One World Cafe.
This is the place where you go in and eat whatever you want and pay whatever you want, including nothing.
And they're having trouble.
They're in trouble.
Obviously, so.
KTVX, ABC4, Eyeball News at 10, the correspondent Susan Woods.
This is one world where everyone who walks through the door eats, whether they're rich or poor.
But Rush Limbaugh says it's an American embarrassment.
At One World, there is no menu, just a variety of healthy food.

One World, like the rest of society, is facing challenges in tight economic times.

But Rush says her business concept is stupid.
It's not just mismanagement.
These are a bunch of liberals.
These are liberals playing games with the reality known as life.
Blesses her.
Well, you know, this woman is doing her purpose on this planet.
You think that the One World Cafe serves beef?
We have a pasta Molanese salad.
No, wait, it says ground beef, but Rush condemns those who serve it.
Long-haired maggot-infested dope-smoking FM types.
What's your favorite dish rush?
I'm going to make it for you.
Vital.
Lunch is on me, Rush.
Come on down.
Salt Lake City, Utah.
That's Denise Soretta, who runs the One World Cafe.
It was very sweet.
Asking me to come down or over, as it were.
Actually, up and over for me to Salt Lake City to go to the One World Cafe.
If I'm ever in Salt Lake City, I'll go by the One World Cafe if it's still open.
And I'll say hi.
She's doing her purpose on this planet.
That's lovely.
How can you argue with that sentiment?
The world is a better place because of the One World Cafe.
There's no question about it.
Salt Lake City's a better place because of the One World Cafe.
It's her purpose on the planet.
No, no, no.
I told when I mentioned this snerdly last week, I said this is the best thing that's ever going to happen to him, is my talking about this because people angry at me are going to go in there and overpay now just to keep the place.
Ultimately, I'm a great guy.
I help out all these liberals straighten their business out.
They're upset also in Topeka over National Obama Day.
Last night, KTKA TV.
Community activist Sonny Scroggins wants to make an official national holiday.
This is a holiday for we the people.
The idea has even gotten Scroggins some unwanted national attention.
And I'm asking Rush Limbach, would you please call your people off, Rush?
No, quit hating, man.
We're all trying to come together.
Wait a minute now, Sonny.
I'm not hating on you.
I'm not hating anybody.
You want a national holiday and you're upset with national attention.
What do you want?
A stealth national holiday that only people in Topeka know about?
You can't do it that way.
We have some great phone calls coming up, folks.
We have some fabulous audio sound bites.
I have a stack of stuff here at every story is five stars.
