Great to have you with us, Rush Limbaugh on the cutting edge of societal evolution serving humanity.
Simply by showing up.
Telephone numbers 800-282-2882, the email address L Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
We're going to get back to the Obama infomercial, which I really think it was an insulting ad, treating people like babies talking to these families like they are babies, which is an indication that the Obama administration, should there be one, will continue to treat the American people like babies.
And the problem with that is that a lot of Americans want to be treated like babies.
It's easier to be treated like babies.
Frankly, to a lot of people, it's distressing.
I want to go back to one of these sound bites uh from the uh from the ad last night in just a minute.
But first, a couple of housekeeping things.
I happened to notice on a blog last night at the Orlando Sentinel.com this headline, it's the NASCAR nuts and bolts blog.
Rush Limboy equates Sarah Palin to NASCAR driver.
I stumbled across a Fox News transcript from Greta Van Susterin's interview with radio personality L. Rushball on Monday when Van Sosterin asked Limbaugh what he thought about uh Sarah Palin.
He said she may as well be on the NASCAR circuit because she's despised by the elite.
She's, you know, this.
We have a polarization in this country, and this is me, what I told Greta, not just of conservative, liberal Democrat, Republican.
We also have a polarization in this country of elites versus average people.
The elites think they're the smart people.
They think Sarah Palin's a Hayseed hick.
She may as well be on the NASCAR circuit.
It's a tremendous now.
I I hope that those of you who read this blog, and those of you who heard me on Sarah on the Van Sustering Show did not misunderstand me.
I don't look at anybody as a NASCAR hick.
I was simply trying to portray this is the way the Democrats and the media look at Sarah Palin and the way they look at NASCAR.
The way Democrats look at NASCAR, the way they look at pro-lifers with contempt and condescension, and that's all I was trying to relay.
I've got nothing against NASCAR whatsoever, the people that are involved in it, or anybody in this country for that matter, in uh in that regard.
You know this this controversy over the Los Angeles Times and that tape they have from 2003 of Obama with a bunch of people who hate Jewish people.
They're sitting on this tape.
They will not release it.
And what they're claiming is that they can't release it here because they got they promised their source to uh to keep it quiet.
And people are now speculating, and that's all people can do.
Well, then how did they write the story if they if they must have seen the tape?
Did they have a reporter there?
This is 2003.
The reporter reported the story in April of this year.
Probably had to watch the tape.
Nobody except the Fox News Channel on TV is the slightest bit interested in getting this tape released.
No other network cares about it, but this is an interesting thing to keep in mind.
Now the Times was under different ownership when this happened.
It was the Los Angeles Times that sued and persisted and insisted that Jack and Jerry Ryan's child custody files be unsealed in 2004.
Do those two names ring a bell?
It was the LA Times that insisted their family records be made public against the wishes of both the Ryans, whose agreed upon intention was to protect their special needs son.
It was the LA Times that brought down Jack Ryan.
Jack Ryan was Barack Obama's opponent for the United States Senate in Illinois in 2004.
So the LA Times did everything it could to help Obama take his opponent out.
Now they've got this videotape of Obama applauding somebody standing up and saying that the Jews are no different than bin Laden.
That's one of the things supposedly said.
This is the Rashid Khalidi tape.
And apparently somebody is saying that one of the things that happened on this tape is that somebody at this at this dinner got up and compared the Jews of Israel to bin Laden, and there's a Obama is seen applauding it.
Now they're not going to release it, though.
They will not release this.
The only way we are going to find out all these truths about Obama is if he loses.
If he loses, we're going to find everything out.
That's when they'll begin the dump.
But not before the election.
It just isn't going to happen.
Now here's another thing, folks.
I am sensing panic setting in on the part of many of you.
I also sense panic on the other side, by the way.
I'm visit visiting various websites.
I'm opening my own email, and the emails that I am getting are getting a little nuttier.
More so than usual.
And now they're starting to come in from smart people.
People I know, people that are that are smart, insisting I focus on some issue that will have no impact on the election.
But they think it's a game changer.
One of the big things is this birth certificate thing.
The birth certificate has been sealed by the governor of Hawaii after Obama went to see his dying grandmother, who is still alive.
I know about the legal case that went on in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania with Mr. Berg and so forth, but folks, it's a waste of time if you can't prove it.
It's a total waste of time.
It's not a game change.
If you can't prove it to people, you're just wasting your time and you're avoiding really talking about the substance here, the basics, the basics on principles, the basics on the economy.
Individual liberty, these are the things that are at stake in this country.
The obvious belief that if we vote, we make our friends and neighbors vote, we're gonna win the day.
This is simply this is a turnout election.
And you know, there are a couple of other things here in addition to the birth certificate thing.
There's um I don't know, one other I can't recall, but we can't prove it.
And if you can't prove it, it's not worth spending any time on.
And it's it's it's I just I don't like people getting all this this desperate here when it's not necessary.
Just get get everybody you know to make sure they vote.
It's turnout, it's a turnout election.
Okay, now back to the Obama infomercial last night.
Uh parade of people.
Barack Obama talking about people as though they are babies.
Now I want to go back here to the Sanchez family, Juliana Sanchez, and Barack Obama's little segment with her, because when I first played this soundbite, this is the this is a rather large family, and they're pretty large people.
And uh Dawn here thought I was uh missing a point, missing an opportunity here to uh understand that there are a lot of people who feel the same or can understand how Juliana Sanchez feels, because they too are feeling a pinch right now given the economic circumstances, and she's very much worried that I came off as uh unconcerned.
Just the exact opposite.
I cringe when I see people in this circumstance acting like there's no hope, acting like they have nothing at their avail, nothing they can do.
The only salvation is if Obama gets elected, and I just that's gonna be the further end of these people are paying more in taxes at the federal and state, gasoline to pump the sales, whatever than they are paying for food during the week, and yet they don't understand it or look at it that way.
So here's here's Obama and his segment on Juliana Sanchez, and I'm gonna offer help at the end of this.
Juliana Sanchez is a widow with two children and a mortgage.
Her parents, Richard and Francis were both educators.
Like her family, Juliana's devoted her life to giving her daughter Jessica and son Adam a good education.
All right.
Every morning she's up before the sun.
That's hard to do.
Food, electric, gas.
It takes out so much out of my paycheck.
You go buy a gallon of milk, and you're like going, okay, is it a gallon or a half gallon?
What can I afford?
You feel like you you can't breathe, even though you need to breathe.
Okay.
Uh is is here's here's my help.
Here's here's my my assistance.
This is just some questions I have.
Miss Sanchez, are you aware of the food stamp program?
Miss Sanchez, are you aware of the Medicaid and ship programs.
That's the health care program for children.
Are you aware of the school lunch program?
Miss Sanchez, are you aware of the public housing programs we have?
Obama's aunt lives in one.
Obama's aunt Zatoone lives in a slum in Boston.
Have you made yourself aware of public housing?
Obama wants to create the impression that the New Deal, the great society, and everything in between have never happened.
We have so many relief programs out there.
The food stamp program continues to get larger and larger, and they advertise for applicants.
Let me cut to the chase and be honest here, folks.
When it comes to foreign affairs and national security, none of us believe Obama's qualified.
Those of you who support Obama are hoping that nothing serious happens because you know that he's weak.
You know that his instincts are poor, but you have suspended your reasoning skills, and you insist that we do the same and risk the security of the nation in the hands of a community organizer.
To me, it doesn't even matter what he says about foreign policy one day to the next, because I know he's ignorant, he's immature on the subject.
So do our allies and so do our enemies.
Now, Miss Sanchez, if you need medical care beyond Medicaid, you can walk into any hospital emergency room and get it for free.
You can seek the help of the scores of church and other charities in your area for help.
You can apply to the drug companies for compassionate use assistance in buying her prescriptions.
The Great Society of the New Deal, it's all out there.
We've already we've already set up systems to help people in this circumstance.
And yet it's like we've done nothing.
It's like our country has no heart.
It's like our country has no compassion.
And Barack Obama, for the first time in American history, is going to come along and take care of people who find themselves in problematic circumstances.
Why do you know, folks, we've never cared for people before in this country?
We've never tried to help people who are down and out.
Only Barack Obama is going to bring this about for the first time.
Only Obama.
The Great Society is a new deal why they never happened.
So do we really need to destroy our economic system?
For Obama's four families.
Hang in there, be tough, folks.
We're going to the phones.
Still telling you nothing about the outcome of the election.
My gut tells me a lot about the election, it's not telling me.
No, I still don't have a gut feeling about this.
I really don't.
If I did, I would I would I would share it with you.
So like I said, my gut tells me that this country is not stupid enough to respond in a sycophant way to the unfair, totally biased, unprofessional, malpractice media that we've had during this campaign.
I just my my gut tells me that the American people, a majority of the American people who vote do not want socialism.
I d I cannot believe that the majority of people in this country really want to have somebody with no experience, no leadership skills, no accomplishments to uh to run the country.
But then I say the economy could turn everything around and make people act irrationally.
It's a huge issue every election when the economy is perceived to be as bad as this one is.
One of the problems, folks, for me with generally when you when you come up with a when you what your gut feeling, like an instinct is the result of a certain degree of knowledge.
There has to be a foundation of knowledge to support a gut instinct, and we just don't believe anything from the media.
We don't have a lot of info.
We trust we have no information that we trust.
I don't know who among us can trust any of these polls.
The polls and the media reports bear no resemblance to what we see on television when McCain or Palin show up for a rally versus when Biden shows up.
Last night at the infomercial, they ended up with Obama in a live like two-minute clothes.
The place where he was was not full.
It was somewhere down in South Florida.
It was not full.
There were obvious empty seats.
Yes.
But what I'm what I'm struggling with, they tell us the world is ending with global warming.
We've got snow in London for the first time on this date in 122 years.
We have is it 122 years, or maybe it's not that it's it's Florida 122 years and I'm getting confused, isn't it?
Yeah.
Record cold swept over Florida.
Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
We haven't been this cold in Florida in 122 years in certain parts of the state.
And that coincides with Al Gore coming down here to finish off and close the argument for Obama in Florida.
Record for October 29th, the low was 33.
Second lowest temperature ever recorded in October since 1850.
It did hit 32 degrees in October 1989, but it didn't last long.
It flew around all over the place.
Snow in London this early hasn't happened in I don't know how long.
They're having uh already snowstorms at closed schools in parts of this country.
And yet they tell us that the world is ending.
Because of global warmings, we do not know what to believe.
Nothing that we hear is anything we can believe from any place in the media.
So we just don't have enough information to work off of.
These latest polls do seem to be a little bit more honest, and they are tight, tight, tight.
And even Chuck Todd, who what three weeks ago says, it's over.
I mean, I'm looking at the polls, it's over.
I don't see how many can now he's covering his rear end with the story.
So we just don't know.
And I refuse, you know, the anecdotal stories, even when people call here and tell me how excited excited the things are where they live or what they saw when they were driving around.
That's just all anecdotal.
I re fucked one of the reasons I mean caution on this gut stuff.
1992.
As we know, George H. W. Bush didn't seem to appear interested or taking his reelection seriously for most of the campaign, didn't because he didn't think the country would elect Bill Clinton.
Remember?
And they seemed oblivious to the Perot factor.
But finally, in late October, mid-October, that campaign got in gear.
And they asked me to introduce the president at a rally out of New Jersey, and I went out there and I did that, and it was just teeming with people.
And the place was going nuts.
Not just when I showed up, but when the president showed up as well.
And then I got a couple calls from Air Force One during the last week of the campaign from Senator Dole, and I said, I'm getting a sense there's real big movement out there.
Oh yeah, there's no question a lot of movement out there.
And there wasn't.
There was no movement.
49 to 43.
Was that how that election turned out with uh no?
Clinton had 43.
Bush a little bit lowered net and perot in there mixing up.
But there there wasn't.
I'm playing as close to the best.
I would love to tell you folks that I think a giant surprise is coming, but I just I I don't have a sense one way or the other.
That's why I just think we all need to focus on voting just.
And I know that there's so much anger at this birth certificate thing, whatever these things are that you think the media is hiding as LA Times tape, let it get you to the polls.
Whatever it is that's got you irritated, let it get you to the polls.
That's what matters here.
Now to the phones, we go to uh we're gonna start with Long Island.
This is Mark.
Nice to have you, sir.
I'm glad you waited.
I appreciate your patience.
Hello.
Thanks for fielding my call, Rash Rush.
I'm a frustrated Democrat, and I'm voting for John McCain.
My dad campaigned for Jack Kennedy.
I campaigned for Bill Bridley in 1984 when Ronald Reagan was the president.
I have never seen a party feel absolutely hijacked by the left.
This party once was a great party.
It stood for helping people, and I still believe in that.
I still believe when people are out of work, we should extend our employment benefits to them.
And we should provide for them.
And that's what Obama is all about.
And if there's any Democrats out there, hardworking Democrats like myself who can hear me.
It's time to vote for a guy like John McCain who's actually worked with Democrats and it does something like working with Kennedy working on the city.
Exactly.
We were misfortune.
Yep, yep, yep.
Yep, yep, taking the words or taking the words right out of my mouth.
Let me tell you what.
I mean, seriously, if you read the camp hear me because it's a cheap phone and he is a moderate man, but the other reason too is because we have lost the fair press in his country.
And I'm telling you right now, could you imagine?
Could you imagine if if back in the days of Watergate, the press stopped when the Republican talking point was a third rate burglary?
Right, right.
Nixon went down because he's associated with other thugs.
Why are they going into Obama's?
I know Querker records.
You're taking the words right now.
I want to go back to you earlier.
For you old line Democrats.
God, I do this for the purposes of victory.
Please understand.
I'm looking skyward.
For you old-time Democrats, John McCain is certainly more.
Well, he's closer to your Democrat heroes of the past than Obama is.
I'd say that JFK and John McCain are much closer to each other than Obama is to JFK.
We'll be back.
And we are back.
Rushlin bought talent on loan from a god.
And we'll get back to your phone calls here in just a second, uh, folks.
Carl Rove today in the Wall Street Journal.
Now listen to this.
There has been an explosion.
And this goes along here with why I do not yet have a gut feel for what's going to happen here.
There has been an explosion of polls this presidential election through yesterday.
There have been 728 national polls with head-to-head matchups of the candidates.
215 in October alone.
Now, 728 national polls in this election.
215 in October alone.
In 2004, there were just 239 matchup polls.
67 of those in October.
At this rate, there may be almost as many national polls in October of 2008 as there were during the entire year in 2004.
And there's so much disinformation in them.
They are so conflicted, they are so confused, they are so all over the place.
So we got we've got what is that?
Uh let's see.
67 and over three and a half times the polls in October this year is October of 2004.
It's called information overload.
We're being swapped with this stuff, and it's tainted to begin with.
Now, another thing, the last caller, who is a fed-up old Democrat, wants to go with McCain.
McCain's worked with Democrats, doesn't like Obama, thinks Obama's a socialist, thinks Obama's an extremist.
Talking about the gut here.
Talk about information overload.
You don't know what to believe anymore.
One of the websites that I track is called Hillbuzz.com.
Well, it's it's Hillbuzz.wordPress.com.
Now this is a website ostensibly run by a bunch of women who want Obama to lose so that Hillary will have a chance in 2012.
And they've you ought to see this site.
They put things up.
I mean, they've got they've got McCain winning Iowa, they got McCain winning Maine, they've got McCain winning New Hampshire, they got him winning Ohio, they've got him winning Florida on the basis that the media is not uncovering the depth of anger in the Democrat Party at Obama.
And one of the reasons that these babes at Hillbuzz, this is what they say.
Now, I'm I'm your host.
I gotta digest all this.
And I gotta website.
I don't know who these people are, and I don't know if what they're saying is true.
You know, it's just it's anecdotal information on a website.
Now people will look at it and they'll print it out.
Well, it has automatic credibility when you can print it out and put it on a piece of paper.
Well, it has credibility.
I can't look at it that way.
But it's just overlaw.
They say the big reason that there's so much anger out there, particularly among Hillary women.
So much anger is that how Obama cheated in the Hawkeye Calcai.
If you remember the polls in Hawkeye Cockai, Hillary Hillary was supposed to do pretty well, but it was a caucus.
Everybody, she didn't work it that hard, but because she didn't think that it was going to be that important.
Obama was b this is what these people say.
We know, by the way, this is true.
Obama was bussing in all kinds of people from out of state.
And in a caucus situation, you vote in public.
Not in private.
So you can be lobbied, you can be pressured, you can be stigmatized as a racist if you, you know, don't hold your hand up for Obama or write his name down a piece of paper everybody's going to see you do.
And they claim that they are livid.
Well, I was looking at their latest post last night about how nobody in the media is picking up on how well McCain's doing in some of these battleground states, and I scrolled down.
And I don't know why.
Because normally, you know, I've I value my sanity.
I do not read comments on blog posts on websites.
Because when you do that, you find out how dangerously insane a whole lot of people in this country are.
It can destroy your faith in America faster than anything unless you have a great resolve to be able to read this stuff and understand you're reading posts by a minority of people, but it really it tests your mettle, folks.
I never read these these comments because they're just lunatics.
But for some reason, this little piece last night intrigued me, so I started reading the comments.
And I got down to this one.
Comment 25.
Sarah Priting to the Hillbuzz website, responding to their story of how really well McCain's doing with angry Democrats the media is not covering.
Okay, I want to clear my conscience a little.
Hopefully you could make a blog post to help some fellow Clinton supporters out.
I work for the campaign.
And I can't Obama, and I can't wait for this week to be over.
I was doing it for a job.
I was not a fan of any candidate, but over time I grew to love Hillary.
The internal campaign idea, Obama campaign, is to twist, distort, humiliate, and finally dispirit you.
We pay people and organize people to go all the online sites and play the part of a Clinton or McCain supporter who just switched our support for Obama.
We do this to stifle your motivation, to destroy your confidence.
We did this the whole primary, and it worked.
Sprinkle in mass vote confusion becomes bewildering.
Most people lose patience.
They just give up on their support of a candidate and decide just to block out TV, news, websites, etc.
This surprisingly has had a huge suppressing movement and vote turnout issues.
Next, we infiltrate all the blogs and all the YouTube videos, and we overwhelm the voting, the comments.
All to continue the appearance of overwhelming world support for Obama.
People make posts to the effect that the world has gone mad.
That's the intention, to make you feel stressed and crazy and feel like the world is ending.
We have also had quite a hand in skewing many, many polls.
Some, I don't know how they've done that.
She doesn't describe how they've skewed the polls.
Some we couldn't control as much as we would have liked, but many we have spoiled, just enough to make real clear politics look scary to a McCain supporter.
It's worked.
Although the goal was to appear 13 to 15 points ahead.
You see, the results have been working.
People tend to support a winner, go with the flow, become sheeple.
The polls are roughly three to five points in favor of Barack.
That's due to our inflation of the polls and pulling in the sheeple.
Our donors are the same people who finance the mainstream media.
Their interests are tied.
Barack then tends to come across as Teflon.
Nothing sticks.
And trust me, there were meetings with Fox News.
The goal was to blunt them as much as possible.
Watch O'Reilly.
He's become much more diplomatic and fair and balanced and soft towards Obama.
It's because he wants to retain the number one spot on cable news and have access to the Obama campaign.
And all the media want access, and they're expecting more, and that's why nothing sticks to Obama.
The operation is massive.
The goal is to paint a picture that is that of a winner, regardless of the results.
There is no true inauguration draft or true Grant Park construction going on.
There will be a party.
But we are boasting beyond the truth to make it seem like the election is wrapped up.
Our goal is to continue to make you lose your morale.
We worked hard at persuasion and paying off and timing and playing the right political numbers to get key Republican endorsements to make it seem even more like it was over and the world was coming to an end for you all.
There's a huge staff of people working around the clock, watching every site, every blog.
We flood these sites.
We have had a goal to overwhelm.
The truth is here.
I could go on and on, but you got the picture.
I'm saying this because I know Hillary was better for the country, and I now realize this.
I was too late by the time I connected to her.
To me, Barack was just a cool young dude that seemed like a star.
I didn't know him or his policies, but now I understand more than I care to.
And I realize his interests are more for him and the DNC and all working like puppets with Dean.
I always thought a president wanted a better good for the country.
The end result I see is everybody dependent on the government.
This means more and more people voting for the DNC.
This means the future's forever altered.
I don't see this as America.
So I'm now supporting McCain.
Sarah Palin's a huge threat.
Our campaign has feared her like you cannot imagine.
If it seems unfair how she's been treated, well, it's because she has had a team working around the clock to make her look like a fool.
Meaning the Obama campus had a team.
This is a big conspiracy.
I'm so shocked.
We released a little blurb the other day that Obama campaign was already working on reelection and now putting our efforts toward 2012.
This was to make it seem like it was above us to continue caring about 2008.
Trust me, it's a lie.
David Axelrod Kloughf.
Very smart, but it's a sticky, ugly, not very truthful kind of intelligence.
It's not over yet, but I think the machine's working.
It's a hill to climb.
I'll be quitting my post on November 5th.
My vote will be for John McCain.
Fortunately, my position has been a marketing position.
I don't feel I had any part of anything I would feel guilty for, but I look forward to getting out of this as the negativity and environment upset me.
P.S. My name's not really Sarah.
But I am a female.
I understand your plight.
Now, this is a post, again, to a website that's run by Hillary supporters who are desperately trying to get people to believe that Democrats and droves are abandoning Obama like this woman here from the Obama staff.
Now you read this, you don't know what to make of it.
You read something like this, you want to believe it.
There is a backup post, by the way, post 133.
I kept going to see what people would say to this poster.
The next poster says, regarding what Sarah P wrote, of course this is true.
It's interesting, this is supposedly written by an ex-campaigner, but it was obviously already that's what they do.
A couple of times I went on to YouTube, it's plain as day that professional commentators are at work.
For example, you write something about heirs.
Within three minutes there'll be ten to fifteen comments about how he was just a young, confused guy, or he's a respected educator now, or he has no connection to Obama.
They'll just repeat the same thing for the next five minutes, and then you see very same messages on other videos over and over.
They rotate the points around or have one or two different words.
I think YouTube blocks verbatim comments as spam, so they have to change them up a little bit.
A lot of this is blatant and undeniable.
Some of it's just a feeling or a hunch based on the decades of watching election campaigns and paying attention to how propaganda works and how people normally speak.
So there's two posts, and there, by the way, a lot of others that agreed with this that they were just putting in their two cents, not from actual hands-on experience.
So you read these things, and you don't you don't quite know what to make of them.
And this is an example of the of the information overload.
I don't know who the Hill Buzzbabes are, and I don't know if they can prove any of their claims, but if their claims are true, then Obama's in huge big trouble, and nobody knows it.
And you will acknowledge that that possibility exists because the media is not interested in any weakness Obama has.
They're into covering it up.
They are pushing his agenda of socialism.
They are cheerleaders.
So we don't know who to believe.
And that's why there's no gut feeling here.
That is why.
The best thing we can do is stay focused on the things we can prove and the things we can do, and one of those things is vote.
Back after this.
Did you see the record taxes Exxon Mobil paid in the third quarter?
You didn't see that?
You didn't see that?
You didn't see the story of the record taxes ExxonMobil paid.
You didn't?
What did you see?
What did it what did Oh, you saw a story on their record profits?
Well, I saw that too, but that's not the story.
ExxonMobil post biggest U.S. quarterly profit ever.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was a uh 14.83 billion dollar profit in the third quarter, largest effort.
Their taxes, uh $32 million $110,000.
That's a record tax payment for Exxon Mobile in one quarter.
$32,501,000.
By the way, with the plummeting oil price, their fourth quarter ain't going to be anywhere near $14.83 billion.
Mark my words.
Talking about how we don't know what to believe.
Well, I know what to believe.
Don't necessarily I know I know when the media is lying, but I'm saying average consumers of news, you don't know what to believe.
You can't get a gut feel for anything.
Nothing is true anymore.
A SwissInfo.com website, December 8th, 2007 headline Artificial Snow Might Not Save Resorts.
Winter Resources in the Alps should think twice about investing in artificial snow installations, according to the Swiss Snow and Avalanche Research Institute, a study it presented on Friday, this is December 8th, 2007, points out that one in five ski slopes in the country needs artificial snow to remain open during the winter season.
It says that if the temperatures continue to rise because of global warming, snow at below 1,500 meters will melt rapidly, threatening the livelihood of lower and medium altitude resorts.
Headline today, SwissInfo.channel.
Record snowstorm triggers delays.
Snow flurries throughout the night and early morning caused numerous delays for travelers using Switzerland's rail system on Thursday.
In just one year, they last year they went shut down the ski resorts in the Alps for crying out loud.
It was so bad that not even artificial snow was gonna help.
And now they can't get to the Snea slopes.
The media is nothing but a propaganda tool of the extreme left.
They do nothing but lie.
Nobody knows what to believe anymore.
If you know, if you and if you're not a student of the drive-by's, we, of course, know what to believe, and that's the exact opposite of what they say most of the time.
That's a simplistic explanation, but it's probably more true than you know.
Back to the phones to Sand Point, Idaho.
This is Patricia Glad you waited.
Welcome to the program.
Hi, Rush.
Hi.
This is Pat, and I'm so thankful that you took my call.
God bless you for keeping us informed and giving us the truth.
Thank you, ma'am.
Um, I'd like to give you an example of the redist redistribution of wealth.
Uh my husband has worked for 30 years in law enforcement.
Uh, he retired twice.
And when he went to apply for his social security, because he had put into all of his quarters doing part-time jobs, raising our five children.
Uh they discounted what he had in his pensions and where we thought he would be getting approximately $800 a month.
He ends up with $107 a month because somebody else is benefiting by his hard work.
And if people think they are so either ignorant or gullible that because they work hard, that they're gonna get what they you know, what they've worked hard for, I think they're mistaken.
And what Obama is telling people, I just can't believe there are so many people out there that are so uninformed and so gullible that's not deleting his flick talk.
I I want you to keep your radio on through the next hour.
In the monologue segment of the next hour, I'm gonna read excerpts of a column in the Wall Street Journal today by Fwad Ajami.
It's called Obama and the Politics of Crowds.
And the subhead is The Masses Greeting the Candidate on the Trail are a sign of great unease.
And he this perhaps is the most insightful, well-done piece I have seen where we stand in the election and explaining why these crowds at Obama rallies are behaving the way they are, who they are, and it's not that they're believing anything.
It's basically, they have hope, basically, that it really is a special person delivered to make everybody equal in the world, safe, and with no problems and no stress, and so on.
They really believe while they're in the crowd.
But then, of course, the crowd disperses.
But you I it's tough to summarize this because every paragraph is brilliant.
But you keep the radio on out there, Pat, and I'll share this with you.
It'll explain a lot.
Conservative estimate Obama's tax cuts are tax increases, could hit over 1.5 million small businesses.
