Yosemite Sam just struck the match to light the fuse on the dynamite.
He hasn't lighted the fuse yet, but he lit the match.
Greetings, my friends.
Welcome back.
It's El Rushbo and the EIB network, 800-282-2882, and the email address, El Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
McCain and Palin are in Waukesha, Wisconsin at a town meeting.
And McCain just blamed the Democrats for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
He said Obama and his Democrat buddies who covered it up, who bailed it out, Obama and his buddies and the Democrats who covered it up resisted attempts to reform it.
He says they were very eager to bail out AIG, very eager to bail out all these other places, very eager to bail out Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, but they don't want to help you with your home value.
Now, he didn't say it as forcefully as I did, but he said it, and the crowd went berserk.
He said it.
He finally said, I'm sitting here and I can't believe it.
I'm glad he said it.
Oh, yeah.
Sorry.
You know, you people at the website watching at Rush Lindblaw24-7, Rush 24-7, I forgot to turn the bars on in this hour.
There's nothing personal about it.
There's a bunch of buttons I have to hit here before each hour starts, and I thought I hit it and I didn't.
So it's not intentional to keep you sequestered from the video portion of the program.
Nothing going on here.
You didn't miss seeing anything unless you just love to gaze at me.
So Yosemite Sam lit the match, holding the fuse and the dynamite.
I just hope, I hope he lights the fuse.
I hope he's not left to prance around the stage after the dynamite fails to go off.
You want, do you want chutzpah?
This is from the Hill, Capitol Hill newspaper.
Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Charles Chuck Yu Schumer came out swinging yesterday against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, saying the business lobby was no longer nonpartisan and has turned into a wing of the GOP.
You have got to be kidding me.
What onions these people have.
In a press conference at the DSCC headquarters, Chuck Schumer said the path and the pattern of the contributions indicate the Chamber of Commerce is afraid of Democrats winning this critical Senate threshold of 60 seats, a goal he said is within reach now more than ever.
Damn right, Chuck.
They're scared.
Business ought to be scared to death of the Democrats.
Business ought to be scared to death of what's going to happen to this country if Obama's elected.
Part of what's happening on Wall Street is probably traceable to fear over Obama winning.
But what is it?
The Chamber of Commerce is no longer nonpartisan.
You mean like Fannie Mae is no longer nonpartisan?
You guys have Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Sally Mae, all these government places that you claim are private sector, little government-sponsored enterprises, and they're your personal piggy bank.
You've destroyed the mortgage market, Senator Schumer.
You and your buddies have done so.
And you're worried that you can't somehow convince businesses in America to support you?
At least this is healthy.
Somebody in business still has some brains.
I don't remember the publication.
Somebody sent me, Noel Shepard sent me this today from Newsbusters, but there's some magazine out there that goes to CEOs.
And they took a poll.
74% of CEOs oppose Obama.
Now, I wasn't going to mention this because right now CEOs are not very popular.
CEOs have been made the scapegoat of all this by the Democrats.
Business, of course, is what's responsible for this, according to them.
And so, if CEOs are opposed to Obama, we'll just figure because the CEOs are big-time Republicans, they want their bailouts.
Schumer distributed a chart showing the chamber has donated $16.28 million to Republican candidates this election cycle, only 329,000 Democrats.
Well, hell's bells, it's about time.
I'm happy old Chuck's upset about this, folks.
But I mean, you expect every organization, Senator Schumer, to support you and ignore everybody else.
They do.
Dingy Harry was on the radio today, KXNT in Las Vegas.
Casey Hendrickson interviewed him.
And Dingy Harry had a couple things to say.
First, about the Keating Five.
Let's go back and look at the Keating Five.
Anytime you bring up Barack Obama, somebody that he was eight years old when the guy was doing his bad stuff, I think you need to talk about the Keating Five.
McCain was exonerated for the Keating Five.
John McCain was not exonerated for the Keating Five.
He was not exonerated.
And the fact of the matter is very clearly that a lot of the things he did with Keating were when he was in the House of Representatives that the Senate Ethics Committee had no jurisdiction over.
So I don't bring this up unless there are people like you try to be so far-fetched at bringing up stuff about Barack Obama.
You know, for people that are going to win this race, and it's such a slam dunk, why are they so mad?
I know it's a brazen lie, Snerdley.
I know it's a McCain was exonerated.
It's a brazen lie.
That's what Democrats do.
But even more striking to me is Dingy Harry strikes out at this radio guy.
I wasn't going to bring it up.
I want to bring it up unless people like you try to be so far-fetched and bring up stuff about Obama.
There's nothing far-fetched about Bill Ayers, Senator Reed.
This lie, well, Reed, Ayers was doing what he did when Obama was only eight years old.
That's irrelevant.
Look, Ayers is who he is.
His terrorist past is not the point.
His radical present is the point.
His attempt to radicalize public education, turn it against the capitalist system, and make it a pro-socialist system, creating a bunch of little revolutionaries in a classroom.
That's what Bill Ayers is doing.
Exactly what Obama wants him to do.
Well, Obama gets to prance around as though he's Mr. Clean and doesn't know any of these people, doesn't have that kind of temperament.
And then Dingy Harry plays the race card on Franklin Reigns.
Oh, who's I'm just running it?
I'm sorry.
About well, I mean, Barack Obama has three people that are tied to this whole mortgage mess, working for him and advising his campaign right now.
Isn't that a little nerve-wracking?
Barack Obama does not have a single lobbyist working for him.
John McCain has seven.
The Reigns you're talking about, who worked for Fannie Mae, was there for a while.
The only connection that people bring up about Reigns and Barack Obama is they both are African Americans.
Other than that, there's nothing lobbyists?
Lobbyists?
McCain has lobbyists.
Obama has none.
The only connection between Obama and Franklin Reigns is that they're both African Americans.
They're both black.
That's a non-sequitur.
It is just, it's, once again, it's Dingy Harry trying to change the subject.
He can't handle the truth.
This radio reporter zings him between the eyes with the truth, and he has to lie and squirm his way out of it.
Franklin Reigns advises Obama on home policy.
Franklin Reigns was thrown out of Fannie Mae finally after looting the joint $100 million.
Jim Johnson, former Fannie Mae, was the guy who helped Obama find his vice president.
Well, they had to throw him out of that once his ties to Fannie Mae were known.
Franklin Raines is all over the Clinton administration.
Obama's got all kinds of people from the Clinton administration on his advisory team.
These guys, they're just sitting ducks.
But again, folks, why are they so mad?
I mean, we had the story today in a politico.
The election's over.
We've had this story now for a week, 10 days.
The election's over.
I mean, it's a slam day.
It's a landslide.
Today it's a landslide.
Two Democrat strategists, a landslide.
And it's because of this economic tsunami.
They admit that Obama could not have done this and gotten to this landslide without the economic tsunami.
Note to Democrat strategists.
The election hadn't happened yet.
And all this early voting, you people were touting and promising in Ohio, guess it didn't happen.
All these early voters didn't show up.
All these big get-out-the-vote efforts we keep hearing about from the Obama campaign, where were they?
In Ohio.
Massive grassroots organization, unheralded, unrivaled in American politics.
Where was it in Ohio?
They had practically zilch turnout in that period of time where you could register and vote on the same day.
They had some, but I mean, it wasn't what they were forecasting and what they expected.
I know they're sitting around waiting to see how many votes they need.
But the point is, they don't want to sit around and have to wait for the votes they need.
They want slam dunks in all these states.
They were unable to get that turnout the way it should be, what they expected it to be.
So for a party that's got themselves convinced now that we're just waiting on a landslide here in three weeks, the election is over.
Why are they so mad?
Why are they so enraged?
They're still not happy.
And in their minds, the election's over.
Well, the answer, of course, is that all this landslide BS and all this elections over stuff is just BS.
And they are as worried about it because their guy can't close the deal.
He'll be back.
Okay, here's the audio, ladies and gentlemen, of Yosemite Sam lighting the fuse here in Waukesha, Wisconsin at a campaign rally.
So what was my opponent's record in the years before the great economic crisis of our lifetime?
The crisis started in our housing market, as I mentioned.
Barack Obama's most notable involvement with the housing issue was to be taking money from the executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
He took the greatest amount of money of any senator in history, with the exception of the chairman of that committee.
And he did not lift a finger to try to reform Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and reform what was clearly an impending crisis, which I and others two years ago said we had to stop.
He went even further than this.
I mean, he mentioned the Democrats.
He went even further than that.
Now, you see, still not naming names here.
He won't even say Obama's name, my opponent and the chairman of the committee.
His name is Dodd.
His name is Chris Dodd, Democrat Connecticut.
Chris Dodd, Senator.
Barack Obama.
The name of your opponent, Barack Hussein.
Obama.
All right, let's go to the phones.
The people here have been patient.
Oh, by the way, one thing about Chuck Schumer.
Old Chuck, a little press conference yesterday, whining and moaning.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce not contributing enough money to Democrats.
Way too much going to Republicans.
Hey, Chuck, you loved it, didn't you?
When you were telling us that California Bank was tottering.
Now tell us all the other banks.
Tell us all the other banks that are tottering, Senator Schumer.
Didn't you say it was your duty to warn people?
I didn't create a run on that bank.
He said, I was my duty to warn people.
Well, do your duty.
Chuck you.
Cameras are ready.
Tell us what else are going to fail, Chuck You.
All right, who's next?
This is Gina in Jacksonville, Florida.
Hi, Gina.
Nice to have you on the EIB network.
Rush, mega, Navy wife dittos.
I'm so excited to talk to you today.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, I'm very, I'm just livid about the, I guess, some of the media today describing McCain Palin supporters as violent, angry, and how she's whipping them up into this frenzy.
I happened to be at the McCain Palin rally on Tuesday, and I took my 12-year-old daughter, and I saw no such thing.
I heard no one saying kill him, hang him, and all these other kind of crazy things that people are accusing the supporters of saying.
Which rally was this in Jacksonville?
Yes, it was at the Jacksonville landing.
I think the rally they're talking about was in no, I think it was in, let me find it, it was in Clearwater.
I've got to go back to the, see, I put all this stuff on the bottom of the stack.
Let's see.
You might have been talking about the one in our Sarah.
Clearwater at a rally yesterday.
Well, wait, this is dated October 7th, two days ago.
Whenever it was earlier this week, and it was in Clearwater, Florida, supporters turned on the media.
Yeah, well, I, just personally, from personal experience, people were happy to be there at the rally that I was at.
I didn't hear any of that kind of thing.
And I just take great offense to it because first we're being called racist because we're not going to vote for Obama.
Well, you ought to be.
Don't be offended by it.
Get mad at it.
Well, I'm mad.
I'm angry.
I'm Livid Rush.
And I'm just so glad that you're out there speaking for us because no one in the media is listening.
They're listening.
They are in the tank.
I know.
They are doing their best to impugn you and McCain-Palin supporters like they impugn the U.S. military.
They want you portrayed as a bunch of lunatic redneck hicks.
They ignore.
Don't make me go through this again because I'm going to get red-faced and live it all over again.
They ignore the people in their party that urged the assassination of Bush via movie and via book.
And they critically acclaim both the movies and the books.
These are the people who hang Bush in effigy at anti-war rallies.
These are some of the meanest, most vile people in the country, the supporters of the Democrat Party and the Obama ticket.
They are deranged.
They are unhinged, and they are genuinely dangerous.
And the media will not talk about that at all.
They praise them as being activists and being involved.
These lunatics are the same people that run these websites, and they are sources for the Associated Press.
Make no mistake about it.
The enemy in this campaign is not just Obama and his cronies, the media as well.
And if there are outbursts at the media at McCain-Palin rallies, it's because for 15 or 20 years, I trace this back to the budget battle of 1995 and the school lunch.
If you people remember, we were accused of wanting to starve children.
And our party didn't say diddly squat.
The budget battle in 95 had that, and all these little school kids, a member from New Orleans, were encouraged to write sign, don't let me starve.
And they were going on TV, Democrats running television, and don't let me starve.
Republicans want me to starve as though their parents would let them starve because they wouldn't.
And there was never a cut in the school lunch program to begin with.
There was a reduction in the rate of growth.
There was never a cut.
And ever since, that was shortly after the Republicans took over the House, and there was excitement, and Republican voters had made that happen.
And then all of a sudden, just a year later, two years later, we get the budget battle, the government shut down the school lunch program, and Republicans sat on their hands.
And for 15 years, Republicans have not defended themselves, therefore their supporters, against these attacks.
Sarah Palin comes out of the woodwork like an angel bestowed from on high and reams these people anew when every time she opens her mouth, and our crowds are simply cheering.
And the media is like, oh, I feel threatened.
This is dangerous.
Why?
They're hurling insults at us.
This is the Mary Mitchell Chicago Sun-Times censure Sarah Palin for turning the crowds against the media.
You are jaundiced cowards in the media.
Go and call a U.N. peacekeeping force in there to protect you.
Hit the people under blue helmets.
As I said in the first hour, just guard the women and children because they tend to rape them when they're keeping the peace in places like Africa.
Gary in St. Louis, you're next on the Rush Limbaugh program.
Hello.
Hello.
Yes, hello.
Rush, it's a true honor to talk with you.
I've been calling for years.
Megadittos in the heartland.
Thank you, sir, very much.
I actually graduated from the school there in Cape, so I feel like I have an association with you.
Really?
What school in Cape did you graduate from?
Simo.
Went to college there.
Oh, you went to Southeast Missouri State University, a place I almost flunked out of.
Well, that makes two of us.
It's a bit was a long time ago, but boy, it's real.
It's just amazing that I finally got through and have a chance to talk with you.
I got two issues I want to hear you say something about.
One is the American Dream.
I've heard the Democrats talk about wanting to restore it, but evidently only up to $250,000, and then you're the devil.
And when I think of the American Dream, I think of guys like you and Bill Gates that just kept going, and that's what we all want.
And I don't understand why they can talk about it like that, but have a limit on just how far the American Dream goes.
You're exactly right.
I love that relationship that you have made here.
They love the American Dream up to 250 grand, then you become the devil.
Then you become the enemy.
You are so right.
And you went to Southeast Missouri State.
And graduated.
Wow.
I have another point that the other thing I hear about this thing with Bill Ayers' Guilt by Association that the Republicans are saying that we shouldn't do that.
Yeah, but when the Guilt by Association of trying to tie him became back to Bush, isn't it the same thing?
What's the difference?
The difference is that the Democrats and the media can defend the alliance.
It is not an association with Bill Ayers.
It is an alliance.
They can defend that and they can try to defuse it, but they're on the attack.
You're right.
There is no difference.
No difference whatsoever.
Except Bush is guilty and Bill Ayers is not.
In their minds.
Back in a sec.
Okay, folks, we're back.
Here is a little bit more of Yosemite Sam lighting the match to light the fuse of the dynamite at a rally with Sarah Palin in Waukesha, Wisconsin this afternoon.
Senator Obama was happy to bail out Bear Stearns, AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, his pals there, and the Democrats in Congress that refused to reform Freddie Mac and enact legislation to stop this crisis, but he's opposed to us helping the homeowners of America.
His pals there at all those places and the Democrats in Congress that refused.
So Yosemite Sam finally comes out of his shell.
It's not firebrand, but it's I hope it's a turning point.
I meant to pronounce this Waukeshaw.
I know it's not Waukesha.
I'm thinking of Waukegan, Illinois when I do that.
By the way, how many of you are shocked, stunned, outraged over the AIG executives going on their spa vacation?
Have you heard about this?
They went two and a half.
I forget how much money it was, but we've been treated to hyperventilation over the outrage of AIG execs attending a lavish sales incentive meeting at a Ritzy, California spa.
Thomas Lifson at theAmericanThinker.com says he hopes that Henry Waxman and his committee will be even-handed in exposing this outrage.
But what about this outrage?
Franklin Raines, the Democrat who inflated Fannie Mae earnings in order to pay himself fabulous bonuses.
May I rehash that story for you?
Employees at Fannie Mae were encouraged to write letters and backdate and forge earnings reports, inflating the value of mortgages so that the asset value of Fannie Mae would be much higher than it actually was because the asset value was what the executives' bonuses were calculated on.
And so this is how Franklin Rains and his buddies for a period of years ended up walking out with a total of close to $100 million in bonus compensation.
So everybody's all up in arms here about what happened to AIG and they go to this spa, but in Washington, this is from the Washingtonian.
Franklin Raines, the former top man at Fannie Mae, bought a three-bedroom, seven-bath penthouse condominium in the West End's Ritz-Carlton residences for $4.9 million.
The condo has a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, a butler's pantry, three parking spaces.
Rains, director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Clinton, was CEO of Fannie Mae from 1999 to 2004.
Now, these Ritz-Carlton residences are the residential equivalent of the luxury spa where AIG sales champions frolicked around for a couple days.
The lucky owners of condominiums in these Ritz-Carlton residence developments have access to room service and other services of a Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Buying a condo like Franklin Reigns is kind of like living permanently in the well-coddled circumstances of a high-roller suite at a high-end Vegas casino while having the permanence and customization of home ownership along, of course, with the tax benefits.
So Franklin Reigns, who was one of the crooks, convicted and thrown out, just spent about $5 million buying a condo in Washington at the Ritz-Carlton residences.
And everybody's all been out of shape about AIG executives going to a sales meeting at a spa.
Here's Tom in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Great to have you, sir, on the EIB network.
Hello.
Thank you, Richard.
Megha Diddles from Williamsburg, the heart of the historic triangle, and where a revolution was started and successfully concluded against tyrannical government and oppressive taxes.
Yeah, well, we may have to do it again.
My comment concerns this orgy of media reports about comments being made at the McCain and Palin rallies.
Quite frankly, I think you pointed out very well that the media is now in the business of making news rather than reporting news, but they want to make this news to report it.
And I believe wholeheartedly that these are probably media plants that are making these comments if they're being made, just so that the media can make reports on them.
You know, that's an excellent point.
I would not put anything past them.
I wouldn't put anything past the Obama campaign to infiltrate these things and have some of their own supporters dressed up like clean-cut Americans.
Remember all the plants at the Hillary campaign?
Yes.
They do this.
And you're exactly right to go and shout these things so that the drive-bys have a story.
So they get what they want out of it.
That's an excellent thought.
I applaud you for that.
That's almost as perceptive as our guy from St. Louis who came up with the notion the Democrats love to talk about restoring the American dream up to $250,000.
Then you're dead.
And you are the enemy.
Then you become a target.
Folk, can I give you the truth about Democrats and the American Dream?
They don't want it available.
Because the truth is, everybody is a target when the Democrats run the show.
You think you make less than $250,000 a year, you're not going to have a tax to pay or a tax increase.
You think you're going to get a tax cut?
Think again.
Democrats do not cut taxes.
They do not cut taxes on anything or anybody.
They do not cut taxes on any activity.
The American Dream has an entirely different definition to Democrats and liberals than it does to you and me.
Their American dream is the United States becoming a full-fledged, acknowledged, unmistakably socialist country.
Remember, Hillary had some plants.
This was back in the New Hampshire primary after she'd come out of the Hawkeye Cauckey and stunned defeat.
And remember, these guys stood up, hey, go back to the kitchen.
Iron my shirt.
Iron my shirt.
Hillary planted those people in there.
You know what happened.
You know.
So it's entirely possible that this is all a ruse as well.
Kathy in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Well, that's a beautiful place.
It really is.
How are you, Kathy?
Good.
How are you?
Never better.
I was actually at the Lehigh University rally in Bethlehem yesterday, and I was also offended by the characterization by the media because the only irrational lunatics I saw at the event were the four to five protesters out in the parking lot.
That was it.
The line to get in wrapped essentially two times or more around the building, and it was a peaceful gathering of women, children, senior citizens, college students, small business owners.
I mean, it was a wonderful, peaceful crowd.
No attacks on the media?
No attacks on the media.
I think there was some frustration with the media, but no attacks of the media.
Anybody say cut off his head?
I didn't hear that.
I saw a really excited crowd.
I saw frustrated Republicans that an overflow crowd, too, right?
It was an absolute overflow crowd.
And I talked to some people who had gotten there at 8 in the morning.
The doors didn't even open until 10.30.
I was also amazed that there weren't, you know, this was a college town.
This was at Lehigh University, and there weren't student protesters.
There didn't seem to be much of a base of people who were there to support Obama.
I mean, with the four to five protesters.
Four to five protesters.
Let me ask you a question about your local media.
Did these four or five protesters get a whole lot of attention in your local media?
I don't think they really did.
I think the four to five protesters, though, were actually the ones who were trying to egg on the crowd because they were kind of bantering at the crowd as we stood in line.
Yes.
So it would fit with our previous caller's theorem that these things are planned.
Well, that's an interesting story.
I know what you're saying is true, too.
It's the case with all these rallies, and I've got some pictures here somebody sent me.
If your rally in Lehigh was anything like these pictures, they're just overwhelming the venues where they're being held.
I mean, these people are inside, outside, and it's huge.
And Obama's rallies are getting smaller and smaller.
I think they could have filled the stadium if they could have gotten access to it.
Now, let me ask you a question, Kathy.
You're obviously very intelligent.
How is it that with no encouraging media whatsoever, the only media on McCain Palin is how he's an old white guy and she's nothing but a brain-dead populist and a librarian.
How is it that you think that they are drawing such large, enthusiastic crowds?
I actually think there's a lot of excitement about Palin and the message that she sends.
I mean, I think she stands for, if I think about it for myself, I have two sons, ages 17 and 20.
And for me, she would be the ideal spouse for them.
And I know if I raised a daughter, she would be a child that I'd be very, very, very proud of.
Interesting.
Well, I have a theory about this.
And this is, and I, by the way, thank you.
Thanks very much for calling.
I want to say before I have to go here.
My theory on this.
Everybody, look, even I, my friends will admit, I've admitted it to you on previous occasions, even I, the valiant El Rushmo, sometimes get sucked in by a devious, deceitful media.
Sometimes even I. Doesn't happen often, and when it does, I tell you, it's a teachable moment.
What this is telling us is that Palin, I've got to throw Yosemite Sam in there too.
Palin and McCain have a genuine, direct appeal to millions of Americans.
That millions of Americans do not need to be primed and pumped and PR'd about their greatness, their brilliance, or their excitement by the media.
These are people, Palin, who can on her own, all that has to happen is somebody locally says, McCain Palin, come into town for a rally, maybe to local media, TV, do a little story on it.
Bam.
Oversold, sell out, raucous crowds.
And the media is doing nothing to promote this, folks, is the point.
The media is doing what they can, in fact, now to impugn these Palin rallies by impugning the people that show up.
So don't think the media has to be on your side in order for you to win.
We'll be right back.
Don't go away.
We're talking about what happens in McCain-Palin rallies.
This thing going on in Walker Show, Wisconsin is hot, folks.
It is hot.
Listen to this audience member speaking to Yosemite Sam.
I'm mad.
I'm really mad.
And what's going to surprise you, it's not the economy.
It's a socialist taking over our country.
I think it's so important in today's country what we're really missing and what's going on.
When you have an Obama, Pelosi, and the rest of the hooligans up there going to run this country, we got to have our head examined.
It's time that you two are representing us and we are mad.
So go get them.
We are mad.
Go get them.
Yosemite Sam is having a law laid down to him today in Walkershaw, Wisconsin.
And this guy, this audience member is exactly right.
You are running for president.
You have a right to defend this country.
You have a responsibility to defend this country and not just fulfill some dream you had eight years ago running for president against Bush.
It's time to start naming names and explain what's actually going on because Senator McCain, the people of this country are dead scared about what we face if you lose.
This is not about honor.
It's not about fulfilled dreams.
This is about the kind of country we're going to.
I hope he's getting this.
I hope this guy was begging him.
It's not the economy.
It's the socialists taking over.
The two are related, by the way.
You can't separate them.
And, you know, this Democrats of the American Dream, ladies and gentlemen, by handing the American dream of homeownership in a systemic way to those who weren't qualified to have it.
And by the way, from the MediaCircusblog.com, what is the Media Circus?
MediaCircus.com.
Story updated.
Obama sued Citibank under the Community Reinvestment Act to force it to make bad loans.
There's a lawsuit here that Acorn filed against Citibank, and it was settled out of court.
And the parties listed include Obama, Barack H., Illinois.
Obama was part of a group that sued Citibank to force it to make loans to people who couldn't pay for them.
His fingerprints and all the other Democrats are all over this.
You hand the American dream of homeownership in a systemic way to those who weren't qualified to have it.
You have thus torpedoed the American dream that those who earned what they had, tanking the market, frozen lines of credit, people who went out and earned it and worked it and experienced the American dream, have now had their American dream punctured because a bunch of people who couldn't qualify at the time were given access to the American Dream, homeownership.
And to make up for the depleted coffers of their precious government, they want to put up obstacles to the American dream that people earned by hitting the tax advantages of 401ks now.
If you missed that, it was in the first hour.
Democrats of the American Dream is a non-sequitur.
There's no such thing.
I saw another story, by the way.
I need to pass this on to you.
With all of these problems that we're having with lines of credit supposedly drying up and so forth, don't think that that's necessarily true all over the country, folks.
You can still use your credit cards in a lot of places.
You can still go out and buy a car in a lot of places.
You can even buy a house in a lot of places if you fit the requirements.
If you've got the 20% down, you can buy a house in Kansas today.
You can buy a house in Missouri today.
So don't think that your identity is protected because there's no credit.
You are not protected from identity theft.
I saw the other day another 10,000 people or credit card information, 10,000 customers, some data company that keeps data for credit card companies, hotels, and so forth, got hacked into.
