Time Text
I wasn't kidding.
I was looking at an Obama rally.
Those are those rallies, those people used to be fainting.
They were standing up.
They were cheering.
They were they were doing a two-step.
I mean, they were just deliriously happy.
And whoever this was, this most recent Obama rally, I'm telling you, those pick those people in the audience looked like they were posing for a mugshot.
There was no happiness.
There was no effervescence.
There was no contentment.
Greetings and welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, Rush Limboa, commanding officer Operation Chaos, EIB Network, 800-282-2882 if you want to be on the program.
And the email address is L Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
Let me take a brief moment here to address something that has come up the past two days on this program.
Both yesterday and today, we have had callers from Texas who are foot soldiers, enlisted officers in Operation Chaos.
Both of these gentlemen, one in Austin, the most recent from Galveston that you just heard, not only voted for Hillary Clinton in the Texas primary, but they went a step further.
They went back and caucused.
These two are just two of many.
These two are now delegates to the Texas State Convention.
They are delegates for Hillary Clinton to the Texas State Democrat Convention.
They will be there undercover.
They will be there as Operation Chaos operatives.
But they are not the only two.
Now I have heard talk, and I'm sure you have too, both on this program from callers and throughout the drive by media, that Operation Chaos isn't working.
That is music to my ears.
When I hear Democrats and liberals and members of the drive-by media say that Operation Chaos is having no impact, and that it isn't working.
Nothing could be sweeter.
It allows us, ladies and gentlemen, to sneak in under their radar because if they think it's not having any impact, they are even more vulnerable.
There are many phases to Operation Chaos.
We are simply here in phase one.
Phase one consists of operatives, changing party registration, voting in the Democrat primary in upcoming states, as happened in Ohio and Texas in a record numbers.
Looks like it'll happen in Pennsylvania in record numbers.
In this case, voting for Hillary or voting for Obama to continue the bloodletting in the Democrat Party all the way through their convention.
For this chaos to continue.
However, the second and third phases of Operation Chaos consist of exactly what you have heard happening in Texas.
Our operatives actually being named delegates to state party conventions.
The third phase of Operation Chaos leads to some of these delegates actually being named delegates to the Democrat National Convention in Denver.
So you Democrats and you members of the drive-by media, you who think that Operation Chaos is ineffective and isn't working.
Remember this.
When we get to Denver and the Democrat National Convention, and you look around, and you're a delegate, the person next to you could be mine.
The person sitting next to you in your delegation could be an Operation Chaos operative.
And let's fantasize for a moment about where phase three of Operation Chaos could take us.
Let's say we get down to this convention and they get into a credentials fight, and all of the votes that have taken place up till now in the Democrat primaries are rendered meaningless.
The superdelegates weigh in, credentials fight all that goes on.
Let's say that it comes down to a close vote, 10, 20, maybe 30 votes, separating Obama and Hillary.
Phase three of Operation Chaos makes it quite possible that my operatives will determine your nominee.
It's quite possible I will be choosing the Democrat nominee.
With operatives inside the Democrat National Convention.
Covert operatives.
Now, you might be saying you Democrats and liberals and drive by's Rush, why are you giving this away?
I mean, you're running a covert operation.
You're telling us about exactly right, because you don't think that it's true.
You think I'm making it all up, you think I'm smoking you.
You think I'm just having fun.
Uh and furthermore, you don't think it's effective anyway.
You are wide open vulnerable for phase three of Operation Chaos.
I'm happy to tell you what we're going to do.
I I spell out what our intentions are on this program every day for 20 years, and you haven't been able to stop us.
And you will not be able to stop phase three of Operation Chaos.
We have several qualified information technology experts.
They run our website, our communications.
We are, after all, in the communications business.
Several of our communications are, of course, encrypted to prevent piracy and theft.
Those technicians, those specialists, are working on an encryption method via mobile device that looks like any other cell phone or mobile device anybody would have to get encrypted messages to my delegates at the Democrat National Convention.
This is being tested as we speak.
And it will be ready in days.
So even if you are forewarned, you will not know, and you will not be able to trust, and you will not be able to confirm just which of your delegates in Denver are mine.
Part of Operation Chaos.
They will have been credentialed.
They will have passed all the tests.
They will have been to state conventions prior to arriving in Denver.
They will have been briefed.
They will be told how to vote by me, depending on their number and the closeness of the final vote at the Democrat National Convention in Denver.
And they will be able to receive my instructions via the encrypted handheld device that nobody will be able to debug because nobody will know whose is encrypted and whose isn't.
We will also be sending dummy messages to legitimate Democrat delegates.
Hopefully, we can get some of the legitimate delegates thrown out as imposters.
Phase four of Operation Chaos.
So when I hear the Democrats in the media say it ain't working, it's not really effective.
I just smile.
For example, this story today in the Christian Science Monitor by Dante Chinney, rushing to register, limbaugh's efforts not yet showing signs of big effects in Pennsylvania.
It's a good story.
The guy's headline is wishful thinking.
By the end of his piece, however, he's not sure that Operation Chaos won't have an impact.
Let me give you some brief excerpts.
Say this for Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio host is nothing if not inventive.
When his own choice for the Republican presidential nominee, Mid Rowney was defeated, he turned his attention to where he could still have an impact.
The Democrat Party primaries.
Under a plan he calls Operation Chaos.
Limbaugh urges his listeners to vote for Senator Clinton for the purpose of dragging on the Democrat Party's primary season as long as possible.
The hope, of course, is a drawn-out process that splits the Democrats.
How successful has Limbaugh been?
Well, it depends on who you ask.
The Radio Dial's best known right winger, excuse me, the Radio Dial's best known personality, sir.
Right winger, left winger, moderate, middle of the road, what Have you says that his army of ditto heads is responsible for Mrs. Clinton winning the primary in Texas as well as padding her margin in Ohio.
If you poke through the comments on this site, you'll see more than a few claim that Limbaugh's efforts also did things like lower Bar uh Obama's margin of victory in Mississippi.
Now, Pennsylvania's April 22nd primaries in Limbaugh's sites, say some Democrat voters, many of whom are supporters of Mr. Obama.
And they point to news reports showing massive action in voter registration in Pennsylvania.
A plan like Operation Chaos is a conspiracy theorist dream.
After all, it's not often somebody is talking openly about a plan to rig an election.
But could something as well uh Dr. Evil sounding as Operation Chaos actually have an effect on the campaign.
Patchwork correspondence in Philadelphia are dubious.
I don't think it'll have a significant impact, says one.
I think this sort of tactical approach to primaries makes all the sense in the world to professional political junkies, but but not the average voter.
Still a few people have suggested that while heavily Democrat Philadelphia may not be a good target for Limbaugh's p plan, others, other counties in the Keystone State could be.
Anyway, goes on and concludes, still, that doesn't mean Operation Chaos will have no effect at all.
Remember, all those registrations that came in at the deadline are not included in the tally yet.
And 23,000 plus of the Democrat switches did come in counties that voted for Bush in 2004.
But many of those counties were close in 2004, which could indicate that many voters switched to have a chance to vote in the first hotly contested presidential primary that Pennsylvania's seen in decades.
So they know it.
They know it's happening.
But damn it, they just can't admit that it's having an impact.
They cannot admit that it's effective, which, for Operation Chaos Phase 2, phase three, and phase four, is ideal.
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
Uh Rush Limbaugh meeting and surpassing all audience expectations on a daily basis yesterday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina at a campaign event.
Uh uh Barack Obama said this about his former pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
This is somebody who was preaching three sermons at least a week for 30 years.
And so got boiled down into they they found five or six of their his most offensive statements, boiled that down into a half an hour sound clip or a ha a half-minute, a half-minute sound clip, and just played it over and over and over again.
Partly because i i it it spoke to some of the racial divisions that we have in this country and it tapped into some of those divisions.
I I hope people don't get distracted by that.
We cannot solve the problems of America if every time somebody somewhere says something stupid that everybody gets up in arms and we forget about the war in Iraq or we forget about the economy.
George McGovern.
1972 Democrat presidential nominee, and if by the way, many people on the Democrat side are fearful, uh, ladies and gentlemen, that uh they're heading to another 1972 here, uh, given the uh well, given the impact of uh Operation Chaos.
He was on MSNBC Live with Andrea Mitchell yesterday, who asked him this question why do you think the country's not yet ready to vote for a woman as president?
You said that the other day.
Why why why is that?
I do think that the country right now is more likely to nominate a black man than a woman.
I may be wrong about that.
I'm supporting Hillary, but I have the highest regards for Barack Obama, and I'll be happy with whichever one wins the nomination.
I don't want to see these two highly talented people hurt each other in this race for the nomination that happened to me in 72, even after I had the nomination virtually locked up with just a month to go to the convention, The losing candidates all ganged up and really did a job on me that we never recovered from.
I don't want to see that kind of thing happen.
Yeah, well, we do, and uh, we are in the process of attempting to see to it that it does happen uh via Operation Chaos.
George McGovern uh admitting and confirming to Andrea Mitchell while the country, and by the way, I don't think it has anything to do with the country not being ready to elect a woman.
It has it has to be it's it's a certain woman.
In this case, Mrs. Mrs. Clinton.
But uh back to the phones.
People have been patiently waiting here.
Kate in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Great to have you on the program and uh hello.
Mega Rush Ditto's from Minnesota, the land of ten thousand liberals.
Thank you very much.
My condolences for that too.
Look, I wanted to share and air my frustration over an incident that happened here.
I know it's not new to you, but I need it to be addressed and somehow corrected.
Um an alumni from Forest Lake High School had requested his group called Veterans for Freedom to appear at his high school, his alumni, and uh he'd already confirmed this with the principal, Steve Macy, a week prior.
They this group of young men from the war in Iraq and Afghan were supposed to talk with a hundred and fifty social studies students.
Yep.
Okay, you get the idea.
Oh, we I know the story.
Oh, good.
And and the and the school said, nope, but the whoever's one school leader said, nah, this is this is not educational.
This is gonna this is gonna be disruptive.
There's no value here in having war vets coming to our school.
This is so upsetting.
My father-in-law is to get five medals tomorrow.
He was a prisoner of war, and he served our country in World War II.
Our U.S. representative Michelle Bachman will be there to present him his medals that he earned, and here's a man who didn't even know he had us received them or earned them, nor did he care.
He just cared about serving his country.
That's what bothers me so much.
Well, that's the American left.
I I you ought to be bothered, but at the same time, this is who they are.
And they're on display, and they're demonstrating it from Oakland, California, uh to Minnesota, uh, from coast to coast, all across the fruit and plain.
The left is showing us who they really are.
But it's gonna have to be exploited.
And how how do you think this should happen?
Well, normally it would happen in the context the greatest vehicle in the world for it is right before our very eyes.
It's called a presidential campaign.
But we have a party who's not interested in exploiting the weaknesses of Democrats, other than on you know, traditional liberal ideological uh uh context like high tax, big spending liberals, you know, that sort of stuff.
Uh but but pointing this kind of thing out it escapes them, uh they notice it, they don't see any value in it, or they don't have the guts for it.
I don't know which.
That's w you know you know why you're frustrated above and beyond the substance of the story.
The real problem here, that I think a lot of people are experiencing on our side of the aisle, Kate, is where's the leadership?
Where's leader?
McCain's not nobody nobody's out there leading the movement.
Nobody's leading on our side.
The Democrats are at least vying for that.
I mean, you got two people that want to be leaders, they're both incompetent and unqualified, but one of them's gonna end up being it, and that's what they want to do.
They want to lead the country to a certain direction, and it's not a good one for us.
Oh.
Uh, and so, you know, you you're you're sitting up there, you said uh in a bubble, uh, because all this happens and the school, you know, does what it does, it gets reported in the news, but then it dies, other than when you hear it on programs like this and others.
Right, and uh back to the phones to John in Sharpsville, Indiana.
Great to have you here with us, sir on the EIB network.
Hello.
Thank you.
Hey, as always, Rush, you are right.
You need to go ahead and move up to ninety-nine percent.
Rush, we're so screwed.
Operation chaos is working too well.
Uh, real quick before I get to my point, the presidential primary for Indiana here, which is in May, has never meant anything, but I'm getting a little bit queasy.
We have had three straight days of Clintons here and two more to come.
Hey, um, well, I Operation Chaos working too well, but there's a very serious side effect.
With all the press, America is being injected with a virus of liberalism.
Here's my point.
Well, that virus, that virus has been injected long ago and it's continuing to fester out there.
It's every day in the drive-by media, whether Clinton's in there in Indiana or not.
Right.
Well, I'll tell you what, within this mosh pit of ditto heads out here, I thought we were somewhat bulletproof, all right.
But in your own audience, you had two callers that I know are affected.
One was uh yesterday, one the so-called extra uh entrepreneure from Cleveland, and one from Northwest Indiana were looking for handouts from you yesterday.
Cleveland caller wanted money for college tuition, the other looking for uh you know, Operation Chaos gear.
This is sickening.
Rush, I mean, you're so rich, why don't you just go ahead and pay off the national debt, finance universal health care.
You know, I mean, I'm getting sick of it.
I uh I owe the government money.
I'm getting sick of everybody.
I uh I'm sitting right here looking at a Social Security office straight across the street from where I work, and the parking lot is packed.
I am getting so sick and tired of the government.
I'm I'm not kidding you, I'm getting sick.
I can hear it.
I know.
I just think I'm trying to envision a packed parking lot in the office of the Social Security Administrator.
That's I mean, I love that picture that it just so illustrative of the yes.
You know, you weren't the only one.
You weren't the only one.
It was I got a lot of emails from people mad at that guy yesterday who asked me to give him tuition for his three girls to go to college.
It's sickening.
I'm getting tired of people looking for handouts.
You know, if you can't afford health insurance, get a better job where you can afford health insurance.
You know, hey, uh my daughter's graduating from college this May.
You know, I've had to split that bill.
She's getting married at the end of May.
All right, is she gonna have a big wedding?
No, I can't afford it.
But you know what?
Live within your means.
I got one credit card, and that one credit card is used for emergencies in case I gotta fly somewhere, and you can't rent a car without one, and this for no other reason, and people need to live within their means.
You know, college is not a right.
Okay, it's a privilege.
And and everybody thinks, you know, the government needs to pay for your college, you need to pay for your health care.
You know, this is America.
I hear you.
I hear you.
This is what look at this is what the battle is about.
This is why so many of us are frustrated with with with the Republican Party right now.
It's this whole circumstance is a sitting duck.
I mean, it's the the opportunity is just so golden here to contrast.
I mean, you ha to beat your opponent, you have to contrast yourself.
Uh speaking politically here, and and and and and McCain is not doing that.
It's trying to blur the lines.
He's trying to be uh a more honorable liberal and uh moderate than they are.
Uh more integrity than they have.
It's frustrating as all as all get out.
Um I was a little surprised by that guy yesterday, starting one up, hey Rush, why I need some uh money from you uh college uh education of my daughter.
So, whoa.
I asked him how much he needed, he hadn't even thought about it.
Well, what's it cost these days?
I was I was teetering, I was teetering on the verge of uh of ripping into the guy, but I was just in too good a mood yesterday.
I just I don't know.
And plus, you know, folks, uh I'm a nice guy.
And I felt the guy's pain and so forth, and I knew you'd be mad uh anyways.
Mission accomplished, regardless uh how I dealt with it.
Dave in uh North Brunswick, New Jersey, thank you for calling, sir and waiting.
You're next.
Regarding uh the the two Democrats, first of all, of the two, which one would you prefer?
And and also regarding McCain, uh as you've been saying, I mean, I'm losing faith in him.
I didn't like him to begin with, and he's only getting worse.
So I can a Republican really support him.
I realize that Democrats aren't very good, but again, if you had to choose between Hillary and Obama, who would you pick?
Well, at this stage, I mean, this is going to change.
As Operation Chaos plays out, and as their fight continues, and as the Clintons continue to be the Clintons, and Obama's, you know, we'll see how he deals with this.
Um, there are many factors that go into who uh we would like.
Uh if I had to, if I had to pick somebody today to run against, it'd be Obama.
I think the right stuff, if the election were today and the right there's so much ammo, but now six months from now, three months, that stuff may be old news.
I mean, people are going to try to keep it alive, uh, but it may be old news.
Uh, I I've always thought that Hillary would be easier to beat because half the country already hates her.
Half the country does not hate Obama.
Half her negatives uh are are higher than her positives.
And for that reason, uh she's she's uh she's beatable.
But then you you you bring in the the X factor, and that's our candidate.
And uh you know, we're not running against the Clintons.
He is, or we're not running against Obama, he is.
And now if you look at the polls that are out now based on all this, he's cleaning up.
McCain's beating both these.
He had a great February, and he's having a great march, at least in the polls.
He's out there, he's he's he's trying to brand himself.
Some of us don't agree with how, but he is.
And they're in the you know, they're they're locked in Operation Chaos and this uh this bloodying of each other that's that's going on, and he's benefiting from uh from that.
It boils down.
These these two these two look like they're incompetent, inconsequential, uh incapable, uh inexperienced.
Uh one of them's just you know, the only difference between she lies, let's just put it that way.
And McCain does benefit from uh an image and a great character, an image of honor and duty and uh and service.
But see, as we get closer, the drive-by's are gonna start their all-out assault on McCain, too.
So at this point, the purpose of Operation Chaos is not to choose a specific nominee, and it wasn't from the get-go to pick a specific nominee.
The purpose of Operation Chaos is what you see.
It was to keep the race going so that there would be hatred, animosity, and political bloodletting between Hillary and Barack Obama and their forces.
And then, of course, as I explained at the top of this hour, phase two, phase three, and phase four of uh of Operation Chaos.
I'm I'm glad you called Dave.
Thanks uh thanks much.
Jamie Rubin, uh, Mr. Christian Amanpo, uh worked in the State Department during the Clinton years, was on MSNBC live yesterday afternoon with Andrea Mitchell.
And she said, Look, why why why would Mrs. Clinton say that she'd come under snipper fire and that they had a cancel of tarmac arrival ceremony when there's ample video that it didn't happen.
And it wasn't just that she was tired, you know, sleep deprived, as she said yesterday, because she's lied about this three separate times.
The first armored division was deployed on the ground to protect the area.
Apache helicopters were hovering nearby to protect the area.
There were uh risks and that the uh flight had to land uh in a different way to take account of those risks, and that all of these factors show that this was not a flight to New Jersey, Andrea.
This was a flight into a war zone.
Classic Clinton.
She lies through her teeth.
A drive-by media expert asks a supporter, why is she lying?
A, what do you think this was?
A flight to New Jersey.
This was dangerous, damn it.
Continuing the lie.
And the next question, um, well, basically, uh Rubin just continued.
Um he said this about the Obama campaign.
This is the campaign that calls itself the campaign of of high politics.
These are low and dirty uh uh political tricks to try to diminish a successful first ladyship.
Yes, she made a mistake.
She admitted she made a mistake, Andrew.
And she's not gonna get out of the race the way David Brooks and and Maureen Dowd and all the other buddies of the Washington press corps want her to do.
I don't understand why all of you people in the media don't get it.
He is using personal attacks and and dis diversionary tactics to avoid the discussion of the issues.
That's what's going on.
They are livid at Barack Obama in the uh Clinton campaign, and they're frustrated that the drive-by is don't see it.
By the way, um the pilot who flew Mrs. Clinton into Tuzla, Bosnia says that she is lying about being ordered to s to sit on her flak jacket, that they didn't make an evasive maneuver, there wasn't any corkscrewing, there were no bullets flying around.
This happened on the Rusty Humphrey show, Colonel William Goose Shanjos.
Uh the pilot who flew Hillary Clinton into Bosnia.
Rusty Humphreys questioned, she said she was told to sit on her flak jacket.
I remember that in apocalypse now they they said on their flak jacket.
Nobody under my watch has ever directed somebody to sit on their flak jacket.
No evasive maneuver.
The commander of Air Base Eagle, he had that place.
You know, not only weren't there bullets flying around, there isn't a bumblebee flying around.
It was really impressive.
He had uh uh he had tanks pointing all the way around the perimeter, he had ground troops every place, he had helicopters in the air, make sure that uh that nobody could, you know, for any ground movement.
You know, if there had been sniper fire going on, first of all, we wouldn't have landed.
Number two, we wouldn't have let her outside the plant.
Exactly.
But there was no snipper fire.
So Jamie Rubin, he's just been canceled, at least on this program.
Back in a second.
The EIB network and the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Rush Limbaugh with Barbara Chenault Law from Dallas.
Barbara Chenault Law from Dallas, Texas.
The Rush version of Puccini.
And we are back.
Uh let's see.
Associated Press, fresh off his eighth visit to Iraq.
Senator McCain declared Monday, we are succeeding.
And he said he wouldn't change course even as the death toll rose to 4,000.
The uh even as clause is, of course, the uh reporter's opinion out there, not McCain's.
Uh but you know, here's the the bottom line is, and this is this is this is very interesting.
Less violence in Iraq means less media coverage of what's going on in Iraq, does it not?
Which in turn means less violence.
Less coverage, less violence.
Less violence, less coverage, less violence.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has fired Clint Eastwood.
Now this is hilarious.
Clint Eastwood learned last week that his friend Schwarzenegger no longer wanted him on the State Parks Commission.
Uh he spoke with Bobby Shriver, the governor's brother-in-law, who had also been fired.
Somewhat incredulous, they joked about it, saying each other should be the more offended.
I talked to him the day we were re uh not reappointed, uh Eastwin said in an interview.
Uh what this they were it was just about a toll road.
Uh the governor said he didn't uh he decided not to reappoint the men.
Uh he said their terms had expired and he wanted to give others a chance.
Uh Eastwood said, I I think it was just somebody got to be under their bonnet at the right moment.
Um, so there we are.
Uh I guess he felt we were going to be guys who were going to be obstructionists for anything through state parks.
Fire Eastwood and your brother just because they they want a toll road to go through the state park or something.
And did you we didn't talk about this?
Do you see the story that the president uh addressing an embarrassing flap that has strained a U.S. SHICOM relations, told uh Chinese President Hu Xin Tao that the shipment of nuclear missile fuses to Taiwan was a mistake.
Hell's bells.
That's no mistake.
The SHICOM's out there rattling sabers, they're firing missiles up, they're shooting things up out of space.
Uh that's this is a little message to Hu Xin Tao and the Chicons.
Uh yeah, we can accidentally send some nuclear fuses to your pals right off your coast.
I don't believe it was a mistake at all.
Lester, in the Sanborneville, New Hampshire, you're next on the EIB network.
I have about one minute here.
Thank you, sir.
It's a pleasure and an honor.
You bet.
May I raise two things you can answer them when you want to.
Number one, if anybody can vote for anyone, what the heck is the sense of having political parties?
What's the sense in having a Democrat Party?
That rule does not work in the Republican party.
That anybody can vote for anybody at any time.
Right.
What's a second question?
And the second one would be having to do with fuel.
You know, we can remember way back when diesel was a lot cheaper than gasoline and home heating oil is even cheaper than that.
And now everything is sky high.
Uh yeah, we can't remember that.
Well, in my 76 years I can remember it, Rush.
Uh is there a I'm having real trouble hearing you because you are you asking me a question or just observing?
Uh I'm asking a question as far as the great knowing one explaining why does this happen?
Uh, why is diesel higher than gasoline?
No, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, said, you know, this is I'm sorry about my hearing.
Uh we're out of time.
I'll have to tell you tomorrow.
Well, that's it, folks.
Another exciting excursion into broadcast excellence in the can on the way to the warehouse housing artifacts to the eventual Limbaugh Broadcast Museum.
But back in 21 hours for open line Friday.
Export Selection
