Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
And greetings to you music lovers, thrill seekers, and conversationalists all across the fruited plane.
Here we are back at it again, just as I promised and committed to yesterday, right behind a golden EIB microphone.
We're back in Florida.
We're back at the EIB Southern Command after almost a full week.
The EIB building in Midtown Manhattan.
Great to be home.
See you guys.
Mr. Snerdley, ladies and gentlemen, still on a sick out after his suspension, not taking it well.
So H.R. Kit Carson is screening the calls today, the trusted and loyal chief of staff.
Phone number, if you want to be on the program today, 800-282-2882, the email address rush at EIBnet.com.
So yesterday when I left the EIB building in Midtown Manhattan, the eBay auction, a high bid was $65,100 for the Harry Reid smear letter signed by Senator Reed and 40 other co-conspirat senators.
I got home at 4.30 in the afternoon to get ready and to pack and get ready for dinner last night.
I fired up the computer and it was at 100,000.
I said, whoa, what's up?
I knew the action would pick up as we got closer to the deadline, which is 25 hours from now.
1 o'clock tomorrow is when the auction ends on eBay.
Now it's currently at $117,300.
And the way eBay works, a lot of you people are worried.
A couple of you have called and some have sent emails.
You're worried that a George Soros type could come in, bid 20 mil and break my bank.
Are you afraid of that too, Brian?
All right, well, let me give you a hype.
Now, as it has been explained to me, this is how it works.
The bid right now that you see when you go to eBay is $117,300.
It could be that somebody's already bid $20 million.
It could be that somebody has bid $1 million.
But eBay only adds $100 increments as necessary for that high bidder to stay the high bidder.
So if it was $117,100 and somebody came in and bid $100 to bid it up to $117.2, then the somebody, the mysterious somebody that may have already bid $1 million or $20 or whatever that you are afraid of, they would take $100 from that bid of $20 million and make it $117,300.
So if the high bidder is $20 million, but the next high bid is, say, $200,000, then the letter will go for $200,100.
It will not go for the full $20,000 unless somebody bids it up.
But you've got to be able to prove that you can pay it.
So don't sweat it, folks.
Everything's cool.
And I think the action's going to heat up during the day today, the afternoon and night, and then tomorrow morning, because, you know, the big money is still sitting aside.
I got the big money starting to come in now.
They didn't get in early because they didn't want to bid it up any higher than they had to.
Have you noticed, ladies and gentlemen, something I'm very proud of, and I want to be very honest about this.
To anybody who doubts the greatness of this country, and by the way, have you heard people say, I've gotten a couple of emails from people who said they've heard on television, I haven't myself heard this, that I am debasing these 41 senators.
Have you heard that anywhere?
I haven't either, but I've got some notes from people who say they have.
They have debased themselves.
I'm not debasing them.
If you doubt the greatness of this country, when a kid from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, population when I was growing up 25,000, can withstand a smear from 41 United States senators and without the help and the assistance of the drive-by media, expose the smear and counter it and come out on top of it.
This, my friends, is a great country.
And that leads me to a point.
I was reading one of the New York papers that might have been the Daily News, and there was this little blurb in there about some model who was auctioning off some article of clothing for some great cause, and it raised $48,000.
And everybody was going wacko nuts.
What a great moment of giving.
What a tremendous moment of we are in the, we are on the cusp here of getting close to $120,000 for the Harry Reid letter.
Not a mention in the drive-by media.
Fox News channel's been pretty good on this, but nowhere else.
And yet it's $117,300.
You know that they are all fuming about this.
The drive-bys are fuming about it.
You know Harry Reid has to be angry about this.
You just know it.
And that's, there's a, there's a little pleasure that I am allowing myself to derive.
I mean, I don't know it, but I know it.
I don't have any proof, but he's got to be upset about this.
This and last thing.
You know, these guys sit there in their power chairs in the Senate and they write this letter and they send it down to Mark Mays at Clear Channel.
And they think everybody's going to go huddle in the corner and cower and be frightened and so forth.
And it ends up on eBay.
And nobody's buying their premise, by the way, that their accusations are right about me.
So it's just, it's been a tremendous amount of fun.
But I just, I'm struck by the fact that we're raising a lot of money for a tremendous military charity.
And we've done this, folks, without the drive-by media.
You've done this without them.
And they're not going to mention it.
They're not, because it's just tearing them up.
It's just eating them up.
You couple this with the dismal failures of the U.S. Congress, the Democrats running both the House and the Senate, from the Armenian genocide thing to the lack of being able to get us out of Iraq.
Now the Democrats in both houses have totally caved on the FISA bill.
Bush has gotten everything he wants.
They pulled the bill from the House because it was so bad because the Senate has finally said, look, we can't.
So we can't get what we want here.
So they're full of bluster.
They huff and puff and they tell everybody what they're going to do.
And the drive-by media covers it as though it's going to happen simply because the Democrats say they're going to do it.
And none of it does happen.
Some of the most ineffective leadership that the Democrats have had and have offered as Senate majority leader and Speaker of the House in my lifetime, maybe the worst pair that has ever led those institutions as Democrats.
And they get none of what they say they're going to get done.
The drive-bys run around and talk about it as though it's going to get done or has gotten done simply because the Democrats say they're going to do it.
And Bush, supposedly a lame duck, is running rings around them.
And so are we.
All of you and all of us here are running rings around these senators who signed this letter.
I just, I want to thank everybody that has bid on this and helped support it.
A lot of the EIB affiliates across the country are making a big deal out of this for the cause, the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.
And it has just been, it's just been a hoot.
But it's a great country, folks, that were able to do this without one mention.
And in fact, about the drive-bys, and I've made this point before, but I want to make it again.
Go back to the original moment on the Senate floor when Dingy Harry reads his letter and then issues a press release about his letter, then sends his letter.
Everybody, the drive-bys did not cover it because they knew that what was in the letter accusing me of being critical of soldiers was a no-go.
I mean, they can't make that stick.
But doesn't that mean in a sane political environment that some reporters somewhere, just one, you think they're not monolithic, just one would consider the fact that it might be newsworthy that the Senate Majority Leader and 40 cohorts write a letter to my syndication partner filled with lies, a smear letter, try to get my syndication partner to get me to shut up.
They know it's bogus and they don't do a story.
Do you think that would be an where's the headline?
Senate majority leader smears American citizen and talk show host Rush Limbaugh sends letter to syndication.
Where is that head?
It's nowhere, which means they're just waiting for one of these things to stick that they can come after me with.
So while the New York newspapers praise these pop culture ditzes for auctioning off a Brazier or whatever it was for $48,000 for some stupid charity and go GAGA over it, oh, it's so wonderful.
Here we are generating, and remember, I'm going to match this.
So the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation already has $234,600 based on the bid as it is at this moment.
We got a lot to do on the program and great, great stuff here in the stacks of stuff.
So sit tight, take a brief time out, come out and let you.
Oh, before we go to the break, I want to hear audio soundbite number one because I mentioned that Fox News has been extremely, extremely good about this.
And they talked about this again this morning.
They asked me back and I couldn't do it.
I didn't get home till 4 o'clock.
I had a late dinner in New York.
I went with Ann Coulter and J.J. Walker.
Remember Jim from Good Times?
Dino Mate.
And we went into the belly of the beast.
We went into Elaine's for dinner last night and had a raucous good time.
And I got home, I got into the house about 4 o'clock.
So I just, I was, and I knew it was going to be late night.
But here's how they handled it this morning.
What we have here, we've got Brian Kilmead, Steve Doocy, and Allison Camerata.
So now Rush has taken this letter and he's put it up for auction.
Brilliant.
And guess what it's up to?
Oh, good.
You can see that on the screen.
$117,000 has been the latest bid on eBay.
Tomorrow, the bidding closes, Brian.
So, okay, and the anti-shake case actually goes along with that, and it's from Halliburton, that controversial company many people.
Okay, but here's my question.
Steve, you're a tax accountant.
Yeah.
The person who pays $117,000 for it, they can't deduct it as charity, right?
Only Rush can.
That's not a charitable deduction.
No, because it's a donation to the Marines.
It's a donation to one of the Marines charities.
That's where the money will go.
Absolutely.
And Rush Limbaugh is going to match the cash.
So let's say it goes for $150,000.
Or let's say $200,000.
Rush is going to match it.
That means $400 into that great charity run by the Marines.
How much does Rush make a year?
Plenty.
A little bit more.
Absolutely plenty.
It always gets down to that, doesn't it?
Be right back, folks.
Stay with us.
Hi, welcome back.
Having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have El Rusha, a rushbow with dulcet tones, vocal vibrations, rhetoric and resonance, reverberating coast to coast.
800-282-2882 is the number if you'd like to be on the program.
So yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, I made the point here that in a manner of speaking, we're winning.
We are stopping the Democrats from accomplishing anything.
Now, that's winning.
We're not advancing much, but we're in the, because we're not in the majority, but we're stopping them.
We're stopping them on everything.
A lot of people on our side still have this tendency to look at things from the pessimistic side, the doom and gloom side, and from a position of being on defense.
And it's time to, without being fraudulently optimistic, being on defense all the time never gets anybody anywhere.
You got to have the ball at some point.
You got to move it downfield.
And to illustrate the failure, you just have to go through the New York Times today.
Here's a story.
Democrats look ahead as veto override falters.
With little expectation of overriding President Bush's veto, Democrats in Congress said Wednesday they would pass a new bill to provide health insurance for 10 million children, but were willing to tweak it to address some White House concerns.
What do you mean they're willing to tweak it?
They lost this.
The president has vetoed their bill, and they don't have the votes to override it.
Many Republicans argue the vetoed bill would allow coverage of children from middle and upper income families of adults and illegal immigrants to get covered.
Democrats reject such criticism, but say they'll consider revising the bill to make its restrictions and prohibitions clearer.
Really, they have no choice, ladies and gentlemen, if they want the bill.
They've just been told that their way is not going to happen.
The Republicans are holding on this.
Going to make it a little clearer that this will not apply to the middle class and upper class children.
And in fact, there's a great quote here from Denji Harry himself.
Said in the Senate he might be willing to tweak something in the bill to help the president save face.
Now, that is just laughable.
That's hilarious.
Save face.
Save.
Senator Reed, do you understand it is you who needs to come up with something fast to save face?
The president had just skunked you again.
And the Republicans have just beaten you back again.
Oh, we're going to help the president save face.
They're really concerned here.
The president's going to look bad in the eyes of parents who have children who may not be covered by this.
And so the Democrats want to make sure the president saves face.
And of course, the drive-bys report this without even one tinge of incredulity.
Then the next story.
Oh, by the way, latest CBS news poll released yesterday found overwhelming support for expansion of the program to include some middle-class, uninsured children.
This flies in the face of the USA Today Gallup poll we had earlier in the week, which says just the opposite.
Now, which poll are we going to believe?
You know, these elected officials run and rule their lives with polls.
If this CBS poll were accurate, the president's veto would be overridden because they would interpret the poll as meaning that's what the American people want.
I can throw this poll out.
This is Los Angeles Times.
Democrats put heat on Pelosi over genocide bill, a supreme failure of congressional leadership.
Jack Murthy says to Pelosi, you've miscalculated your support on this, and the Democrats are clueless on the merits of it when they signed it.
Top Democrats leaning on Pelosi, Mirtha, said party leaders miscalculated support for them.
Of course they did.
They hold average people in contempt.
They do not yet understand that most Americans don't want to lose the war in Iraq.
When Americans found out that this genocide resolution against Turkey was going to have a negative impact on U.S. military personnel in combat, they let Washington know about it.
That's what Mirtha's talking about.
We miscalculated this.
Mirtha also said that a number of lawmakers who signed on as co-sponsors didn't have a clue what it was all about.
Then yesterday in his press conference, the president accused the Democrats of achieving little on Capitol Hill.
He threw down the gauntlet to Pelosi and Reed.
Remember, this guy's the lame duck.
He said, you haven't done squat.
He didn't use those words.
They said, you haven't done squat.
And, you know, Pelosi is just livid about this.
She claims that the president's being partisan and just making all kinds of mistakes on this.
Here's another story in the LA Times chill cast on U.S.-Russia relations.
Once again, Bush rubbed the Democrats' noses in the Iraq war debate that they lost recently.
Well, we found some common ground, and Pelosi seethed.
You know, Bush is throwing out this olive branch.
Pelosi seethes over the notion that they found common ground.
She called Bush's attack partisan.
An example of the president claiming to seek common ground at the same time he's bitterly attacking Congress.
This is surreal.
And then back to the Washington Post.
Senator and Bush agree on terms of spying bill.
The Democrats have totally collapsed on the FISA bill.
The ACLU on page three is calling what happened to Democrats a total meltdown.
The collapse marked the first time since Democrats took control of the chamber that a major bill was withdrawn from consideration before a scheduled vote.
It was a victory for President Bush, whose aides lobbied heavily against the Democrats' bill, and an embarrassment for Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who had pushed the measure's passage.
Everything they are trying is falling apart.
Everything.
They have done nothing.
It is they who need to say face.
We've got a little montage here of the drive-bys just beside themselves over the Democrats' inability to get anything done.
It happened with more legislation, and now it looks like it will happen again with children's health care.
The president takes a stand.
The Democrats promise a fight.
But in the end, the president comes out on top.
Democrats at several levels of government are stumbling.
Democrats appear headed for defeat in the battle over expanding children's health insurance.
This looks like a kind of an embarrassing defeat for the leadership.
House Democrats may be losing yet another battle, this one over domestic spying.
Republicans are crowing, and Democrats are trying to figure out what to do next.
A rebellion among Pelosi's own Democrats.
It's such a political debacle for the Democrats.
Why aren't these things getting done?
You know, Ray Charles could have seen that was a stupid idea from the beginning.
Doing a great job, Pelosi.
Terrific.
That was Jack, what's his name, Cafferty, on CNN?
You heard Katie Couric and a bunch of others in there.
So we're winning.
We're stopping these guys from their ridiculous pieces of legislation.
And the drive-bys have gotten real frustrated with them right along with the fringe lunatics that are in their base.
That's right.
A man, a living legend, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee can never take that away from me.
A way of life serving humanity would have my brain tied behind my back just to be fair about it here on the EIB network.
Continuing with audio soundbites, you just heard the media montage.
Drive-by is frustrated as all get-out.
You see, now you have to understand it in the drive-by universe, and I'm sure you understand this.
In the drive-by universe, what Democrats do where they succeed where they fail is the total narrative.
The fact that they can't get anything done is not a reflection on Bush, as far as the drive-bys are concerned.
It's not a reflection on the House or Senate Republicans.
It's a reflection on the Democrats.
Why can't they get anything done?
When the Democrats lose elections for the next two years, all we hear about on the drive-by meeting, what do the Democrats have to do to get control of the House back?
What do they have to do to win the White House?
As though the norm, the standard operating procedures, Democrats running everything.
And it's just, it's hilarious to watch this.
And I'll tell you what else is bothering the drive-bys is they're helping out every bit they can.
The Democrats come out with these bills like S-CHIP and the Armenian thing, and then they come out with FISA.
And the drive-bys just get right in line and they take up what the Democrats want to do, whatever it is, spoiling the economy in people's minds.
Speaking of which, there's a CNN on their blog site today, the political ticker CNN Opinion Research Corporation poll Thursday morning today said nearly half of Americans think the U.S. economy is in a recession.
Close to 46% of those surveyed say that in a recession.
51% of those questioned say no.
So, you know, they're doing a pretty good job there of creating this image in the public mind that the economy is about to fall apart.
And of course, the Democrat presidential candidates are doing their bit too, the Breck girl and Mrs. Clinton out there with their, you know, some people are just one pink slip away from bankruptcy and from losing their homes.
It's horrible.
Only we can fix it because we are agents of change, Mr. Limbaugh.
But they can't change anything.
They can't get anything done, and the drive-bys have been helping them.
And the frustration continued on the Joe Scarborough program this morning on MSNBC.
Co-host Willie Geist said this about Dingy Harry and his letter.
You know what I hear people say out there?
They say, spend a little less time talking about how Rush Limbaugh is a drug addict on the Senate floor.
Spend less time talking about genocide in Armenia almost 100 years ago and address the problems you were elected to address.
The problem that they think they were elected to address was to get us out of Iraq, and they've tried that 55 times.
Willie, I don't know what to tell you here.
They've been trying to address some of these problems.
But really, what they're totally oriented around is destroying George Bush still.
That's where they're headed.
And you know, somebody advanced this theory the other day, and frankly, I hadn't considered it.
It may be true.
Everybody's trying to explain the literal derangement that exists on the left side of the aisle in this country with the Democrats.
35% of Democrats think that the president knew about 9-11 before it happened, and thus they have to think he let it happen.
One in five Democrats think the world would be better if we lose the war in Iraq and the war on terror.
We have chronicled over many, many moons here the literal insanity and lunatic nature of the Democrat base.
How can this happen?
What in the world could have gotten these people so riled up?
And most people go back, well, the Florida aftermath and then the 94 House elections where they lost their power and so forth and all that.
But a lot of people, I mean, a couple people have expressed to me, you know who's really responsible for this is Hillary Clinton.
After the Monica Lewinsky thing, she goes on the Today Show and she starts talking about this vast right-wing conspiracy.
And we all laughed about it, but it's the theory of some people I know that this kook fringe base just lapped it up and licked it up and thought, yeah, that has to explain all of this.
Stealing votes, doing all of this, going to Iraq, lying to the country.
She goes up there on the Today Show with Mal Wauer and says, yeah, there's this vast right-wing conspiracy out to get my husband.
As though the vast right-wing conspiracy found a way to hire Monica Lewinsky and then make sure that a pizza was delivered to the Oval Office when she happened to be there.
And then the right-wing conspiracy made sure that we kept that blue stained dress.
But your theory is as good as mine or anybody else's.
But the fact is, they are deranged.
They literally are.
And they're focused on destroying Bush.
And the Democrats in Washington are the same way.
Now, here's Mirtha.
We continue on with the theme, Democrats in disarray.
Yesterday at a Capitol Hill press conference just cuts the legs out of Pelosi.
I must have had 25, 30 members, Democrats come to me yesterday and say, you know, very agitated about this coming to the floor right now.
They have gotten a message.
So I would say if we were to run today, it wouldn't pass.
She feels morally committed to this issue.
It's just that it's impractical at this point to go forward with it.
Why is that, Congressman Mirtha?
Why is it impractical to go forward?
Is it because it just because it can't pass?
Or is it because some of your Democrats finally figured out exactly what this bill was?
Or was it because you got bombarded with phone calls and emails again from people who saw what you were trying to do, and that is undercut victory in the Iraq war?
Mirtha then continued.
We need every ally we can get.
They're important to our effort in Iraq.
We got 160,000 troops in Iraq.
This is important to the U.S. effort in Iraq.
Period.
Well, hallelujah.
We finally got a little truth here.
Mertha, we got 160,000 troops there.
We need every ally we can get.
We don't need to go running them off.
But that's exactly what the Democrats wanted to do.
Now, I made the statement the other day that there had to be some adults in there somewhere that realized this was going to destroy them even more than they already are destroyed or damage them even more than they're damaged.
And Mirtha's comment here tends to indicate that I, once again, was right about that.
Here's Pelosi.
It's what she said yesterday after it became clear that the Turkey-Armenia resolution had fallen short.
Whether it will come up or not or what the action will be remains to be seen.
Right.
Well, just three days before that, she was on Stephanopoulos' show and said this.
I said if it passed the committee, that we would bring it to the floor.
Yeah.
Well, it passed the committee, and you didn't get it to the floor.
And everything that they have tried has just been an abysmal failure.
And now Pelosi starting to shoot arrows over at dingy Harry because he can't get anything done over there.
It was the House, I think, that had to pull their...
Yep.
House Democrat leaders had to pull a competing version of the FISA bill from the House floor because they lacked the votes to prevail over Republican opponents and Republican parliamentary maneuvers.
So while Pelosi is aiming at Dingy Harry and blaming him, her bill was so pathetic and so utterly without a chance that she had to pull it.
So they are in disarray.
And we all know why they're in disarray because the things that they're attempting to do are not right.
I mean, just in a decent world sense, right versus wrong.
The things they're trying to do are wrong.
They are harmful if they were to pass, damaging and harmful to this country's national security.
So it's poetic justice here.
Grab a quick phone call here.
Sean in San Jose, California.
Nice to have you, sir.
Welcome to the program.
How are you doing, Rush?
It's a real moment to you, longtime listener.
I'm both a Republican and an Armenian American, and I've kind of basically pissed a little bit of the Turkish government, but also the Democrats.
Some people might find that surprising, but the Turkish government's never going to this genocide happened.
It was a long time ago.
But I think that the Democrats are kind of acting.
They're appealing to the Armenians, most of whom are, and most Armenians are very Christians.
We're conservatives.
We don't share the Democratic values.
And I think this is another case of them trying to angle for votes, push a cause and just front and try to disrupt the warrant error.
And I kind of, it's clear for everybody to see.
And it's just something that from day one, when this got brought up and the Democrats and Pelosi were doing it, you could just tell that it was just a front.
Exactly, but I don't even think it was about votes yet.
I think this is all about.
Remember, they are still getting hammered behind the scenes and in phone calls and so forth from their wacko base.
Get out of the ruck.
That's what you promised.
They're getting hassled and hammered about that all the time.
And this was an attempt to destroy a relationship with an ally.
As far as getting the Armenian vote, I don't think they're even thinking about that right now.
I think they're singularly focused on destroying this presidency.
Hell, folks, I got this thing.
It's from a blog, ProteinWisdom.com.
There was an anti-war activist meeting in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Congresswoman Diane Watson, Democrat from Culver City, spoke in front of an audience of some 150 activists from various L.A. anti-war organizations at an Iraq Town Hall meeting in Los Angeles on the 14th.
It was hosted by California Assembly Majority Leader Karen Bass and the 47th Assembly District's People's Council at Hamilton High School.
Now, the audience, according to an eyewitness who was there, responded angrily when Watson responded to a call for the impeachment of President Bush by saying, we simply don't have the votes.
It says anti-war bunch pressuring a big lib, Diane Watson, to move forward with the impeachment.
We don't have the votes.
After groans and booze, at least one cry of at least do something from the audience, Diane Watson went on to say this.
Right now, Speaker Pelosi is working very quietly and very effectively behind the scenes.
We need 285 votes to uphold an impeachment.
So far, we have 260 members telling us that they support impeachment.
Now, if Congresswoman Watson was telling the truth to these activists, these anti-war kooks, then the question is raised of Pelosi's control over her own delegation and even her awareness of what's going on in her own party.
I mean, does Pelosi know that Diana Watson's out there revealing what Pelosi's working on in secret, very quietly, very effectively, behind the scenes?
If this is the case, if Diane Watson is telling the truth, this means that Nancy Pelosi is not leveling with the American people because everybody in the Democrat Party when impeachment comes up.
No, no, no, we don't have the votes.
They don't have the time either.
You think anybody's going to pay attention to an impeachment?
Nobody wants to impeach Bush except these wackos, but the presidential campaign is going to be getting underway at full speed in not too long.
They don't have the time.
They don't have the votes.
So who's telling the truth here?
Is Diane Watson, does she just say this to get these wackos off her back?
Or is it actually the truth?
And Pelosi is, well, she can't be working effectively on this because she's not working effectively on anything.
Might help if I turned on the golden EIB microphone.
Well, just check the eBay total, and we are up to $130,100 for the Harry Reid smear letter and the Halliburton attaché case that is at present housing and protecting that letter.
You'll also get a signed official thank you letter from me, the winner will, high bidder, and a picture of me unveiling for the first time in public the dingy Harry Letter on stage a week ago tonight in Philadelphia at the Academy of Music.
By the way, people have been asking me, and this is a good question.
They've been asking me about, we're going to make the whole video available.
I thought we were going to have it earlier this week.
I know we've got it because we had the video of me making the presentation.
I will check into that and see what the status of making the video of the entire speech.
We get the audio and the transcript are up there.
There's a story here, ladies and gentlemen.
I'll save this for the next hour because I don't have time to do the update theme.
We got a feminist update coming up.
Let me grab this call.
Lee in Oklahoma City.
I'm glad you called, sir.
Nice to have you on the program.
Dittos, Mr. Limbaugh.
You're a great American.
Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for taking my call.
Thank you, sir.
On the Senate letter and the eBay auction, I just want to put a plea out to whoever wins that thing to immediately put it back up and cycle it through for 41 undivided interest owners over the next 41, 42 weeks, whatever it takes.
Keep it up there.
Eventually, it'll become a news story.
And the undivided interest owners, once they all come together, could send that thing to the Supreme Court and ask the Senate and House boss, the Supreme Court, to issue their opinion about what wouldn't happen.
The Supreme Court wouldn't touch this.
If anything, the Smithsonian might be interested in it someday.
But whoever is going to be the high bidder on this is going to be paying a pretty high price.
And I don't think the high bidder is going to want to recirculate this because then after that, who gets the letter?
If they wanted to do that, they could just make that donation to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.
No worry, we'll get, this is going to pop the drive-by media.
But look, folks, this is my point at the beginning of the program.
It doesn't matter.
We're doing this without the drive-by media.
That's the great thing about this.
We have turned this attempted smear based on a total fabrication lie.
We have turned it totally around on them.
I'm here.
You have 41 United States senators sign a letter that is based on a lie, the letter itself filled with falsehoods.
It is sent to my syndication partner.
The whole point is to intimidate both of us, Mark Mays at Clear Channel and me, and look where this is without one push from the drive-by media.
You think that doesn't irritate them?
You know, they hope that ignoring this thing will make it seem like nobody knows what's going on, but this is not the case.
So, you know, learn what I have learned.
Don't seek validation in the drive-by media.
Don't seek them covering it as a sign of success.
We've got robust success here without them.
That's the story.
By the same token, don't look to the drive-by media to ever start liking conservatives and giving them a fair shake.
Ain't going to happen.
They lost their monopoly.
They're livid.
They're angry about it.
They're not going to treat conservatives and Republicans ever with the same idolatry and respect and sainthood-like approaches that they do the Democrats.
It just isn't going to happen.
And if you look for that as a measure of success and happiness, you are going to be forever disappointed.
All right, first hours in the can.
We're up to $131,300 for the Harry Reid letter on eBay with the proceeds of this auction going to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation, which the auction will end 24 hours, 1 o'clock tomorrow, 24 hours from now.
Also, a big feminist update coming up in the next hour.
Headline alone should tease you enough.
Feminists have more fun.
Yeah, but with who?
That's the question.
And we'll answer it.
All that in your phone calls.
Much more straight ahead.
