Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Well, isn't this great?
Isn't this just fabulous?
The blowhards at the UN and totally screwed everything up here.
President's supposed to speak at 11:30, and these clowns still flapping their gums about whatever.
I'm not even watching it.
Told that every speaker at the UN gets a maximum of 15 minutes for their speech.
If that's the case, we'll take it when the president starts.
We got an attempted coup going on over in Thailand.
We've got uh mystery objects shadowing the space shuttle in the same orbit.
The return delayed until at least Thursday, uh, they figure out what it is.
Plus, there's weather problems down here at Cape Canaveral, waiting for a cold front to go through.
This time of year, when a cold front goes through down here, the temperature drops in 90 to 88.
Uh greetings, friends, and welcome, Rushlin Ball, the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
Let me ask you a question.
Um are you really?
I mean, really starting to get bothered by all of this insane Islamo fascist stuff, this rioting all over the world, the promise of death threats and slitting of throats of the Pope and all the infidels.
And are you getting sick and tired of everybody else in the world acting frightened and scared and reaching out and wanting to apologize?
Oh, we're sorry for offending you and so forth.
If you're mad like I am about this, do you get even angrier when you listen to McCain and Lindsay Graham and their foolishness on all this?
Uh, which just makes it worse.
I mean, here is my question about all this.
When are we as a nation?
When is the rest of the peace-loving world gonna get mad enough at these savages, militant Islamofascists rioting, threatening death and slitting throats, and when's the world gonna stop capitulating?
We are told that there's so much hate for us out there by our own media.
I am I'll tell you what, folks, I have had it.
I am sick and tired of my country being portrayed as the damned enemy out there, and I'm sick and tired of a bunch of Americans acting like they think it they think it too, and that we've got to revise policy and start apologizing and so forth.
Bunch of stupid idiot Americans joining this chorus because they think there's so much hate for us out there, including in the worldwide media, that our guilt makes everybody want to apologize all the darn time.
Well, screw it.
You know, and a reckoning should be coming anytime soon.
I was I'm this close to exploding this morning.
I I've really had it.
And I realize some of what's going on here is that the drive-by media and the Democratic Party is trying to create a bunch of chaos out there because let's be honest about something, and you've seen the news today about the president's approval numbers at 44% USA today, and you have seen gasoline prices coming down, and you just know that the Democrats and the Libs are beside themselves.
This is not what the election season was supposed to be.
Their post-Labor Day election season was supposed to be an all-out assault, and the country was supposed to be gravitating to them, and there was supposed to be massive love and adoration for people like John Kerry, who, were it not for his varicose veins, would be totally colorless.
And massive love for Howard Dean and massive love for whoever the hell else out there they advance as so-called leaders, spiritual, real, or otherwise.
So there's a lot of chaos being created in the media worldwide.
Now we've got this abject, insane lunatic, Mahmood Ahmadinejad, parading all over New York, and he's not gonna go to the big luncheon today because they're going to be serving adult beverages.
Well, Bush, a teetotaler too, but he's gonna go.
And the drive-by media is just breathlessly waiting for an encounter because to the drive-by media and the Democratic Party, you know who the more moral man is of the two?
Ahmadinejad.
They can't wait for a confrontation.
They want Ahmadinajad to tell Bush what it's like and what it see what it really is.
And that frosts me.
It frosts Me more than I can tell you.
A man who threatens to nuke Israel, a man who is an obvious anti-Semite, a mass murderer, a sponsor of terrorism worldwide, and Americans think that Bush ought to give this guy the time of day that we ought to sit down and talk to this guy.
All that's going to do is elevate him to a status he doesn't deserve, and that's exactly what Americans.
This is what frosts me.
Americans want to happen.
They want our president belittled and impugned in the eyes of the world up next to some puppet of some deranged Ayatollahs led by the grand mufti Ayatollah, whatever they call themselves, Ali Khamenei.
And we sit here and we quake in our boots.
And I'll guarantee you what's going to happen tonight when you tune into certain cable networks.
After the president does make his speech today, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad makes his speech today, you're going to see side-by-side photos tonight, side-by-side video, as though the two men are equal in stature around the world, and whatever it is that...
Ahmadinejad says we are supposed to give equal weight and gravity to what the President of the United States says.
And so certain cable networks tonight will do the AB side-by-side comparison with in-depth analysis.
And there will be the usual ripping of President Bush for insulting this great man who only wants peace in the world.
And of course, we're not the ones who want peace.
We are the ones who are the savages.
We're the ones who want to wipe out anybody who disagrees with us.
We're the ones that want to torture everybody, put them in prison in Club Gitmo.
And after we feed them the flay of fish, and after we let them play soccer and basketball on the soccer fields and the courts that we built for them, after we let them control the temperatures in their own suites, as opposed to cells, then somehow we want to we want to we want to torture them.
Find out what it is they plan on doing to us next.
In the meantime, militant Islamists the world over are rioting, and the world says, you know, what do we need to do to stop making them so mad?
When are we gonna say enough?
When are we gonna say enough is enough?
We're not the ones beheading people.
We are not the savages.
We are not the one hell, you've got you've got Madonna, who uh decency prevents me from telling you exactly what I think of her, is gonna portray her own crucifixion on a cross during a concert on NBC.
NBC says, ah, it's no big deal.
All right, what if a major American network decided to portray some sort of similar thing with the Prophet Muhammad?
What do you think would happen to the GE building at 30 Rockefeller Center in Manhattan?
Are we gonna see Christians rioting in the streets?
We're gonna see Christians beheading, blowing up the GE building, rioting in the streets, threatening death to the people that run NBC.
We're gonna say, No, of course we're not gonna see any of that.
Now the bottom line is that all of this is going to backfire, but it is tough to live through.
It is tough to watch this, because this hate and this disrespect and this cowardice is being led by Americans.
Certain Americans, and you know what political party they're in.
Let me take a quick commercial break because the president's about to get up there and speak.
We'll come back and jip this.
He won't miss much here.
Sit tight, we'll be back right after this.
Don't go away.
And now let's listen to the president addressing the General Assembly of the Star Wars Bar scene, ladies and gentlemen.
Iraq seat in his body was held by a dictator who killed his citizens, invaded his neighbors, and showed his contempt for the world by defying more than a dozen UN Security Council resolutions.
Now, Iraq's seat is held by a democratic government that embodies the aspirations of the Iraq people.
It is represented today by President Talibani.
Amen.
With these changes, more than 50 million people have been given a voice in this chamber for the first time in decades.
This crowd's not happy about that, Mr. President.
Some of the changes in the Middle East are happening gradually.
But they are real.
They don't like it.
Algeria has held its first competitive presidential election, and the military remained neutral.
Yeah, well, when will he get shot?
The United Arab Emirates recently announced that half of its seats in the Federation Federal National Council will be chosen by elections.
Kuwait held elections in which women were allowed to vote and run for office for the first time.
Well, that won't last.
Citizens have voted in municipal elections in Saudi Arabia, in parliamentary elections in Jordan and Bahrain, and in multi-party presidential elections in Yemen and Egypt.
There's not one smile in the room.
These are important steps.
And the government should continue to move forward with other reforms that show they trust their people.
In fact, there's contempt in the room.
I just saw it.
Every nation that travels the road to freedom moves at a different pace.
And the democracies they build will reflect their own culture and traditions.
But the destination is the same.
A free society where people live at peace with each other and at peace with the world.
Some have argued that the democratic changes we're seeing in the Middle East are destabilizing the region.
This argument rests on a false assumption that the Middle East was stable to begin with.
All right.
Take it to them.
The reality is that the stability we thought we saw in the Middle East was a mirage.
For decades, millions of men and women in the region have been trapped in oppression and hopelessness.
And these conditions left a generation disillusioned and made this region a breeding ground for extremism.
Imagine what it's like to be a young person living in a country that is not moving toward reform.
You're 21 years old.
And while your peers and other parts of the world are casting their ballots for the first time, you were powerless to change the course of your government.
While your peers in other parts of the world have received educations that prepare them for the opportunities of a global economy.
You have been fed propaganda and conspiracy theories that blame others for your country's shortcomings.
And everywhere you turn, you hear extremists who tell you that you can escape your misery and regain your dignity through violence and terror and martyrdom.
For many across the broader Middle East, this is the dismal choice presented every day.
I thought he was talking about democrats.
I'm sorry.
Every civilized nation, including those in the Muslim world, must support those in the region who are offering a more hopeful alternative.
We know that when people have a voice in their future, they are less likely to blow themselves up in suicide attacks.
We know that when leaders are accountable to their people, they are more likely to seek national greatness in the achievements of their citizens rather than in terror and conquest.
So we must stand with democratic leaders and moderate reformers across the broader Middle East.
We must give them voice to the hopes of decent men and women who want for their children the same thing we want for ours.
We must seek stability through a free and just Middle East.
Good.
Where the extremists are marginalized by millions of citizens in control of their own destinies.
Today I'd like to speak directly to the people across the broader Middle East.
My country desires peace.
Extremists in your midst spread propaganda claiming that the West is engaged in a war against Islam.
This propaganda is false.
And its purpose is to confuse you and justify acts of terror.
These are the guys saying it.
We respect Islam.
But we will protect our people from those who pervert Islam to sow death and destruction.
Our goal is to help you build a more tolerant and hopeful society that honors people of all faiths.
Now he's insulting them again.
To the people of Iraq.
Nearly 12 million of you braved the car bombers and assassins last December to vote in free elections.
The world saw you hold up purple ink stanked fingers.
And your courage filled us with admiration.
You've stood firm in the face of horrendous acts of terror and sectarian violence.
And we will not abandon you in your struggle to build a free nation.
America and our coalition partners will continue to stand with the democratic government you elected.
We will continue to help you secure the international assistance and investment you need to create jobs and opportunity, working with the United Nations, and through the international compact with Iraq endorsed here in New York yesterday.
We will continue to train those of you who step forward to fight the enemies of freedom.
We will not yield the future of your country to terrorists and extremists.
In return, your leaders must rise to the challenges your country is facing and make difficult choices to bring security and prosperity.
Working together, we will help your democracy succeed so it can become a beacon of hope for millions in the Muslim world.
The people of Afghanistan.
Together, we overthrew the Taliban regime that brought misery into your lives and harbored terrorists who brought death to the citizens of many nations.
Since then, we have watched you choose your leaders in free elections and build a democratic government.
You can be proud of these achievements.
We respect your courage and your determination to live in peace and freedom.
We will continue to stand with you to defend your democratic gains.
Today, forces from more than 40 countries, including members of the NATO alliance are bravely serving side by side with you against the extremists who want to bring down the free government you've established.
We'll help you defeat these enemies and build a free Afghanistan that will never again oppress you or be a safe haven for terrorists.
To the people of Lebanon.
Last year you inspired the world when you came out into the streets to demand your independence from Syrian dominance.
You drove Syrian forces from your country and you re-established democracy.
Since then, you have been tested by the fighting that began with Hezbollah's unprovoked attacks on Israel.
Many of you have seen your homes and your communities caught in crossfire.
We see your suffering, and the world is helping you to rebuild your country and helping you deal with the armed extremists who are undermining your democracy by acting as a state within a state.
The United Nations has passed a good resolution that has authorized an international force led by France and Italy to help you restore Lebanese sovereign over Lebanese soil.
For many years, Lebanon was a model of democracy and pluralism and openness in the region, and it will be again.
To the people of Iran.
The United States respects you.
We respect your country.
We admire your rich history, your vibrant culture, and your many contributions to civilization.
Name one.
You deserve an opportunity to determine your own future, an economy that rewards your intelligence and your talents, and a society that allows you to fulfill your tremendous potential.
The greatest obstacle to this future is that your rulers have chosen to deny you liberty and to use your nation's resources to fund terrorism and fuel extremism and pursue nuclear weapons.
The United Nations has passed a clear resolution requiring that the regime in Tehran meet its international obligations.
Iran must abandon its nuclear weapons ambitions.
Despite what the regime tells you, we have no objection to Iran's pursuit of a truly peaceful nuclear power program.
We're working toward a diplomatic solution to this crisis.
And as we do, we look to the day when you can live in freedom.
And America and Iran can be good friends And close partners in the cause of peace.
To the people of Syria.
Your land is home to a great people with a proud tradition of learning and commerce.
Today, your rulers have allowed your country to become a crossroad for terrorism.
In your midst, Hamas and Hezbollah are working to destabilize the region.
And your government is turning your country into a tool of Iran.
This is increasing your country's isolation from the world.
Your government must choose a better way forward by ending its support for terror and living in peace with your neighbors and opening the way to a better life for you and your families.
To the people of Dafur.
You have suffered unspeakable violence.
And my nation has called these atrocities what they are.
Genocide.
For the last two years, America joined with the international community to provide emergency food aid and support for an African Union peacekeeping force.
Yet your suffering continues.
The world must step forward to provide additional humanitarian aid.
And we must strengthen the African Union force that has done good work but is not strong enough to protect you.
The Security Council has approved a resolution that would transform the American African Union force into a blue helmeted force that is larger and more robust.
To increase its strength and effectiveness, NATO nations should provide logistics and other support.
The regime in Khartoum is stopping the deployment of this force.
If the Sudanese government does not approve this peacekeeping force quickly, the United Nations must act.
Your lives and the credibility of the United Nations is at stake.
So today I'm announcing that I'm naming a presidential special envoy, former USAID administrator Andrew Nazis, to lead America's efforts to resolve the outstanding disputes and help bring peace to your land.
The world must also stand up for peace in the holy land.
I'm committed to two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security.
I'm committed to a Palestinian state that has territorial integrity and will live peacefully with the Jewish state of Israel.
This is the vision set forth in the roadmap.
And helping the parties reach this goal is one of the great objectives of my presidency.
The Palestinian people have suffered from decades of corruption and violence in the daily humiliation of occupation.
Israeli citizens have endured brutal acts of terrorism and constant fear of attack since the birth of their nation.
Many brave men and women have made the commitment to peace.
Yet extremists in the region are stirring up hatred and trying to prevent these moderate voices from prevailing.
The struggle is unfolding in the Palestinian territories.
Earlier this year, the Palestinian people voted in a free election.
The leaders of Hamas campaign on a platform of ending corruption and improving the lives of the Palestinian people, and they prevailed.
The world is waiting to see whether the Hamas government will follow through on its promises or pursue an extremist agenda.
Thank you.
The world has sent a clear message to the leaders of Hamas.
Serve the interests of the Palestinian people.
Abandon terror.
Recognize Israel's right to exist.
Honor agreements and work for peace.
President Abbas is committed to peace.
And to his people's aspirations for a state of their own.
Prime Minister Omert is committed to peace.
And has said he intends to meet with President Abbas to make real progress on the outstanding issues between them.
I believe peace Can be achieved.
And that a democratic Palestinian state is possible.
I hear from leaders in the region who want to help.
I've directed Secretary of State Rice to lead a diplomatic effort to engage moderate leaders across the region to help the Palestinians reform their security services and support Israeli and Palestinian leaders in their efforts to come together to resolve their differences.
Prime Minister Blair has indicated that his country will work with partners in Europe to help strengthen the governing institutions of the Palestinian administration.
We welcome his initiative.
Countries like Saudi Arabia and Jordan and Egypt have made clear they're willing to contribute the diplomatic and financial assistance necessary to help these efforts succeed.
I'm optimistic that by supporting the forces of democracy and moderation.
We can help Israelis and Palestinians build a more hopeful future and achieve the peace in the holy land we all want.
Freedom by its nature cannot be imposed.
It must be chosen.
From Beirut to Baghdad, people are making the choice for freedom.
And the nations gathered in this chamber must make a choice as well.
Will we support the moderates and reformers who are working for change across the Middle East?
Or will we yield the future to the terrorists and extremists?
America has made its choice.
We will stand with the moderates and reformers.
Recently, a courageous group of Arab and Muslim intellectuals wrote me a letter.
And if they said this the shore of reform is the only one on which any lights appear, even though the journey demands courage and patience and perseverance.
The United Nations was created to make that journey possible.
Together we must support the dreams of good and decent people who are working to transform a troubled region.
And by doing so, we will advance the high ideals on which this institution was founded.
Thank you for your time.
God bless.
And there you have it.
President Bush really, really, really taking it to them there at the Star Wars Bar City, and otherwise known as the United Nations General Assembly.
There is applause going on.
There was no smiles from most of the crowd.
There was contempt in uh in most of the faces as uh as I watched this.
The president put the onus on the United Nations and virtually every problem country, cited a resolution that they've passed, said it was up to them to enforce its resolutions and to maintain its viability.
Now, I'm gonna tell you something, folks.
If anybody else spoke these words on this day, they would be etched in stone.
These words would be praised, they would be exalted, the man who spoke them would be exalted, he would be considered one of the great visionaries of our time.
The world would rally to him to a certain degree.
Except these words were spoken by George W. Bush, for whom there is contempt, not only in this country, among Democrats and the left, and many in the drive-by media, but in the very body in which he spoke.
But he took it right to them.
He laid it right on the line.
He told them who they are and what the problems are and how to solve it.
He stood up for the United Nations or the United States' position on all this, did not make one policy reference to the people of Iran.
He told them, we love you, you got a great culture, you've had many contributions, but you are being squashed by a bunch of totalitarian leaders.
That's his answer to all of you people who think he ought to sit down with Mahmud, uh, Mahdijad, and listen to what an insane lunatic has to say.
That was his answer to Mahmud, Madinejad.
And now Bush is going to go to the luncheon where Ahmadinejad refuses to go because they're serving actually serving some pretty good wines.
Look at the list.
They're serving some Bordeaux and Pomero.
Uh uh, not the greatest vintage, but these half these people wouldn't even know what it is anyway, so why waste it?
Um bottom line is for all of these tiny little worthless, irrelevant people in the drive by media who think they're so important, who think they they determine worldwide policy.
The president just squished them like the ants and a roaches that they are.
He just told them what he thought of Mahmud Ahmadinejad and meeting with him.
Praised the Lebanese government, told the people of Syria, hey, you know, your country's making you people the pigs of the world.
Your country's making you uh the uh the enemies of the world.
Um I have to say this, too.
If people think what the Pope said was outrageous, wait till this.
What?
You know.
Uh uh, I know that that is true.
A lot of people, that whole pretty they didn't clear out, but uh a lot of the members of the Star Wars bar scene split the scene after Bush's speech, uh, and uh they apparently came just to hear him.
Uh the hall didn't empty out, but I mean a good good percentage of it um uh good uh did did uh flee the coop, fly the coop, uh, if you will.
Probably be first in line either at the luncheon or uh at the restaurants in Manhattan, or wherever if they don't like the wines being served, if I think they can find some better somewhere else.
Who knows why they left?
Presumably because they're smart and don't want to be bored by a bunch of blowhards talking about a bunch of meaningless, worthless garbage in what will follow George W. Bush.
I would hate to be the one who asked to follow it, but nevertheless, if people got upset at the Pope and what he had to say, uh keep a sharp eye on this.
This is not gonna sit well as it shouldn't in the um in the uh uh extremist parts of the uh of the world.
And I, you know, I watch this, and I I can't help but think of our old good friend Senator McCain.
Have you noticed something in the media today, folks?
There are countless stories.
In fact, let me uh let me uh let's see.
LA Times.
Right here.
Media uh McCain's stand comes at a price.
And this story laments, oh, how this is so horrible.
McCain's principled stand, ladies and gentlemen, his principled stand is harming his presidential aspirations because of mean old conservatives like me.
Right here.
Excuse me a second.
Throat's dry.
Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio talk show host, charged Monday that McCain was part of a cabal in Washington, trying to thwart the policies of the Bush administration.
So the Ellie Times here, part of a big-time media boo-hoo for John McCain, could imperil the media's candidate in 2008.
McCain Camp says they see an upside, though, in this.
Then the Washington Post, McCain's stand on detainees may pose risk for 2008 bid.
Second article of sympathy for McCain.
Senator McCain's bid to position himself as the natural heir to President Bush as a wartime commander, uh has threatened to run aground in recent days as the two men clash over how to detain and try terrorism suspects.
And I think um I think I was mentioned in this story as well.
I even think the New York Times has one today about, oh, poor Senator McCain, oh, poor Senator McCain, it's just so unfortunate.
So the big time media is uh is circling the wagons for Senator McCain.
Let me tell you what I think is going on about that, folks.
I think the more political heat that McCain experiences, and he's gonna get some more today on this program, and he's gotten a lot of heat already.
The more he and his friends in the drive-by media will attempt to portray any compromise as one that's favorable to him.
Have you seen the stories?
Bush caving.
White House caving to demands of McCain.
I don't know that that's true.
Have you seen the deal?
Have you seen the results of any deal?
I'm Telling you the drive-by media loves McCain so much.
They wish he had given this speech today, but he's not capable of making the speech today because the speech, if he gave one today, would be about him.
But they are so frightened, and they're so upset at the uh anger.
Why do you think Bush's poll numbers up to 44%?
It's because he's he's he's rallying the base.
He's opposing these Republican malcontents.
He's hanging tough gas prices are all a part of it.
Up to 44%.
This is also contributing to more madness and insanity on the Democrat side, because this is not the post-Labor Day scenario they had portrayed for themselves.
They thought they were gonna be rolling in it.
Hunky dory, pigs, and you know what, and it just ain't playing out the way that they thought it was.
So the drive-by media circling the wagons now, the more heat that McCain experiences, the more the drive-bys will attempt to portray any compromise between McCain and the White House as one that is favorable to Senator McCain.
After all, as far as the drive-by's are concerned, it is McCain who needs to be seen as getting something out of this mess.
We have a lot more on that.
We have a lot other stuff coming up as well.
Big stacks of stuff, audio sound bites.
We have barely scratched the surface.
Sit tight, we'll be back and continue right after this on the EIB network.
Recognized by millions is the finest radio presentation in America today because it is Rush Limbaugh, the excellence in broadcasting network.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program is 800 282-2882, and the email address, rush at eIBNet.com.
Can't wait till it drive by media gets around to asking Democrats what they thought of the President's speech to the United Nations.
They'll ridicule it.
They'll say it was unrealistic.
It was not helpful, it was unnecessarily confrontational, uh, not useful whatsoever, uh, and unnecessarily provocative, uh, and shows once again why the world hates us.
That's a synopsis and is justified in uh hating us, by the way.
Uh Kofi Annan, or Kofi uh Anon, the uh retiring UN Secretary General made his last address before the 61st General Assembly about a half hour, 45 minutes prior to um President Bush.
Here is a portion of his remarks.
This is the last time I shall have the honor of presenting my annual report to this assembly.
Let's all cry.
Let me conclude by thanking you all for allowing me to serve as Secretary General during this remarkable decade.
What was remarkable about it?
We have pushed some big rocks to the top of the mountain.
Like Al-Qaeda.
Even if others have slipp slipped from my grasp and rolled back.
Like the Taliban.
And while I look forward to resting my shoulder from those stubborn rocks in the next phase of my life, I know I shall miss the mountain.
Oh, yes.
I shall miss what is when all is said and done.
The world's most exalting job.
Sick.
I yield my place to others with an obstinate feeling.
A real obstinate feeling of hope for our common future.
Really?
What is that hope, Kofi?
I'd like to hear you spell out what that uh what that what that hope is.
So there's Kofi Annan saying farewell to the freaks of the United Nations.
He leaves happy.
Uh he leaves rich.
Uh America, what a country.
While uh some of those rocks roll down the hill, uh Kofi uh wishes it stayed up to Hill.
Son Kojo got rolled under the bus on the um now famous, infamous oil for food program.
Grab a phone call quickly.
Brian in Atlanta.
Glad you called and welcome to the program, sir.
How are you doing, Rush?
I just wanted to let you know I thought the president hit the ball over the fence.
Home run.
Listen to the speech, and I think it's about time we had a politician.
Call these people exactly what they are.
Yeah, he did.
He called them out.
He called them out country by country.
I tell you, it's it was it was unbelievable.
I know that the Democrats are gonna have their talking points about this, but how do you repudiate this point by point?
I mean, it was simple.
He said exactly what's going on, that everyone's I'll tell you what they'll do.
I'm gonna I'm I've already told you what they'll do, and let me add something to it.
They will say that it is a silly notion that everybody in the world should have American style democracy or freedom, and that it represents a naivete, and that the press is simply uh the president simply imposing his religious views on the world.
I think exactly what they're gonna say.
I can keep going.
I know exactly what they're saying.
He's gonna repeat what they have been saying.
Unrealistic, unhelpful, unuseful.
Um it is it is childish and naive to assume that everybody in the world wants to be free or can be free, and this is a classic example of why the world hates us and why we've lost our stature in the world to say these things about these great members of the United Nations to call these countries out the way he did, who are sponsoring terrorism and allowing it to happen, and then once again throwing up this year with us or against us, because that's basically what he said.
Uh we have a choice we can throw in with those interested in reform and and and uh and upgrading their countries, or we can throw in with those who want to oppose it.
United States has made its choice.
Once again, they'll say Bush is a simpleton who sees the world unfortunately in black and white, and wouldn't it be much better if we had people like John Kerry up there who could actually talk to the world in a way they would understand and not hate our guts?
Preferably in French.
Yeah, he probably can.
Uh but I mean that that that's that's exactly what he's gonna say.
I mean, Chirac Chirac came out and said, We are totally opposed to any sanctions on Iran.
My question is, all right, what is Iran paying him?
What kind of deals does Chirac and the French have with the Iranians, like they had with Saddam and the Iraqis.
I mean, this is you you you um you really don't expect the president to be credited on this speech, do you by the usual suspects?
No, not at all.
I'm just telling you again, anybody else makes this speech, anybody else, it's etched in stone as one of the greatest.
And it's etched in stone as a guidepost and as a shining light, and is a remarkable vision for the peoples of the world.
Anybody else makes this speech, that's the reaction to it.
Um Dean, Meraldine in Los Angeles.
Uh, I'm glad you call.
Welcome to the program.
Mr. Rush Limba, my pleasure to talk to you.
Um the only decent humanoids that that's on radio.
Uh one thing I want to say over here, and that is uh I'm from Iran, and obviously people don't get it that when Mr. Carter came and brought Ayatollah to power, it was a green light for Muslims uh that uh for a third crusade of Islam to start.
And if you see the pattern that what's happening and uh the pattern that going to these um uh countries like Somalias and turn them to Islam and Indonesians and so forth and Afghanistan's and uh the countries, the European countries, well, obviously you cannot go over there and bomb them and kill them.
And so what they do is uh they uh import people over there and start producing kids.
Pretty soon the government's gonna start uh becoming Islam, and that's how the crusades start.
So I know.
I know, and in the meantime, while all this is happening right under everybody's nose, uh we sit around, let the militant Islamists utter their threats to slit throats, uh, and all of these other things and act like it's our fault.
And we want to apologize, and we want to engage in dialogue, and we don't defend the pulp.
Uh everybody from E.J. Dion Jr. to who who knows who else.
The Pope blew it, Pope should have had more sensitivity, Pope should not be speaking as a theologian, he's not a theologian, he's not intellectual, he's a Pope.
He's got to understand how his words are gonna be heard, blah, blah, blah.
The p I it it it's just it's it's um it really is frustrating uh to see so many people because of their hatred for this country, even people in this country because of their hatred for it.
Um sign up and align themselves with people who want to destroy the world.
Back in just a second.
