Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
And good afternoon once again, thrill seekers, music lovers, conversationalists all across the uh.
Well, I was gonna say the bountiful fruited planet, and it is.
I'm just wondering.
If these are all the huddled starving masses doing work nobody wants to do and they're all underpaid out there, that's cheap labor.
How in the hell do they afford to go out and protest all this and miss work and the fur so many questions?
And I, you know, we've talked a little a lot about this illegal immigration business for a lot of consistent days here, or consecutive days, and I I actually want to change course a little bit here, but but uh uh just to debrief you, we had a lot of audio sumbites from all of these marches yesterday.
But I've really come to the conclusion if you think that the primary purpose of all of these protests and what and and and the ones that have yet to happen that are scheduled in a future are about illegal immigration, you have missed the point.
Greetings, my friends.
Uh Rushmore here, America's anchor man, America's truth detector and doctor of democracy, general all-round good guy, harmless, lovable little fuzzball here behind the golden EIB microphone telephone number, if you want to be on the uh program today, is 800-282-2882.
All right, I want to start here with the economy because this will set up what's happening in the uh in the immigration debate uh in a in a way.
Hillary Clinton, 2008 presidential perspirant, uh hopeful, uh, is telling upstate New Yorkers that the reason she has not delivered on her 2000 campaign promise to create 200,000 new jobs for the region is because Republicans control the federal government.
Asked about her jobs failure, Mrs. Clinton told the Syracuse Post Standard.
I didn't have the benefit of a Democratic Congress.
But I think given the fact that there uh wasn't the environment that I'd hoped for, we've seen some progress.
In fact, New York State's actually lost 112,000 uh jobs upstate.
Uh well, total statewide, since sending Mrs. Clinton to uh Washington, that's according to the public policy institute in uh in Albany.
And uh yesterday she was on Bloomberg Television as well.
And by the way, it's very interesting here.
Uh Mrs. Clinton's worried about all the jobs that were not created in New York.
In fact, they're down a hundred and twelve thousand.
Uh, and yet she shows up at the emigration rally, illegal immigration rally in New York yesterday, and essentially invited hundreds of thousands of illegals into America to take the jobs we won't do.
Well, what jobs is she talking about?
Uh I mean, she's already led a bunch of unemployed New Yorkers now.
Now she's inviting a flood of illegal immigrants to come in and do what jobs.
But 112,000 jobs down in New York State.
This is because Bush is in charge of the federal government.
The Democrats uh uh, of course, have nothing to do with this.
Yesterday on Bloomberg Television, Al Hunt, Mr. Judy Woodruff, interviewed is that where he ended up?
I've been wondering where Al Hunt was.
Where is Al Hunt?
I have you I haven't seen Al Hunt since Crossfire bit the dust.
Is his hair still shockingly white and all over the place?
That's I don't know if they haven't seen it.
Anyway, Al Hunt's talking to Hillary.
Says you're gonna give a major economic speech tomorrow night, the economic club in Chicago.
The unemployment rate's 4.7%, robust growth, low inflation and interest rates, consumer confidence soaring.
What's wrong with the economy?
The indicators at the present time, uh, as you say, are positive.
But if you look just over the horizon and below the surface, there are some troubling issues.
Yes, unemployment is four percent, uh, but you know, it was four percent of the Clinton administration, and more people were in the workforce.
So a lot of people have disappeared from the workforce.
Replacement jobs for those that are lost are, you know, 20 to 40 percent less in income.
The sort of pillars of the middle class, a stable job with certain benefits if you work hard are beginning to disintegrate.
All right, does Mrs. Clinton know what she's talking about or as usual?
Is she just meandering and wandering in vain search of a cogent thought?
I have here uh ladies and gentlemen from today's Christian science monitor uh a story about the U.S. economy and its latest job output and what kind of jobs they are.
And the summation of this is that uh the newest job numbers show that businesses are expanding opportunities in high-wage fields.
I expect the Democrats to say, yes, of course this is true, but we need low-wage jobs for the average American.
Because they cannot come out and agree or accept good news when their whole template is doom and gloom, disaster, destruction, suffering, thirst, hunger.
News like this is simply cannot be greeted.
And of course, well, of course the economy is good for the rich, they will say.
U.S. economy isn't just producing jobs these days, it's also producing good jobs.
By the way, there's always a template when news like this comes out from our friends in the drive-by meeting of Democrats.
Well, yes, like Mrs. Clinton just said here in a sense.
Well, of course jobs are way up, but what are they?
They're hamburger flipper jobs.
They're not even with the minimum wage.
And yet the Democrats are trying to import that kind of labor into the country.
The kind of jobs that they sit there and impugn and ridicule when they are created and say that they're worthless.
And it's nothing more than the rich enforcing involuntary servitude and poverty on everybody else.
And yet here they're wanting to import just that kind of worker and make legal those who are here illegally.
Along the alongside the ads for jobs handling a cash register or a spatula are these new opportunities.
In St. Louis, AFB International is enlisting both technicians paid 30 to 40 grand a year, and PhD scientists offered 80 now 80 to 100,000 in its quest for the perfect pet food.
In Delaware, Honeywell plans to hire people at 40,000 to 100,000 a year to work in a data storage center in Southern California.
Some of the latest openings involve working on the railroad, $35,000 to $70,000 a year.
Union Pacific plans to add 2,000 employees all together.
Now these reports in the past month symbolize a welcome trend during an economic expansion that at first offered only tepid John Gage, both in quantity and quality.
Every time a Democrat comes out and steps in it and says something bad about the economy, you can count on the fact the news is going to be good.
It's just their their stroke of luck.
Do you remember uh, ladies and gentlemen, the uh uh the two guys who wrote the book, The Millionaire Next Door, Thomas Stanley, William Danko.
They did this many, many moons ago, little uh Indian lingo there.
We interviewed these people.
And uh uh the the book was was phenomenally inspirational.
Where the millionaires are.
They studied Americans with a net worth of one million dollars or more.
They found that affluence is much more attainable and may lurk much closer to home than we think.
More than 80% of millionaires are ordinary people who've accumulated their wealth in one generation.
They also point out that the affluent tend to amass their wealth slowly and steadily and don't necessarily live in the ritsiest neighborhoods, drive the fanciest cars, or bring home million-dollar paychecks.
And in that light, we now have at Kiplinger.com, their their website, a uh a list here of uh where the highest concentrations of millionaires as defined by the million next door, Thomas Stanley William Danko live.
In Los Alamos, New Mexico, it's number one, a concentration of millionaire households is 20.4%.
Number two is Naples, Marco Island, Florida, with a concentration of millionaire households at 17.5%.
Number nine, Washington, D.C. Metro, concentration of millionaire households 12.6%.
And uh number 10 is Honolulu concentration of millionaire households 12.5%.
So more than 80% of millionaires are ordinary people who've accumulated their wealth in one generation.
The wealth continues to expand.
Economy is producing great jobs, not hamburger flipping jobs.
It is a 4.7 unemployment rate, which is actually above statistically full uh employment, and yet here's Mrs. Clinton and the Democrats doing everything they can to water down the good news to get you not to believe it.
I continue uh to just marvel at this as just looking at them as human beings.
Forget that they're Democrats or liberals.
I know you can't do that because that's who they are, but this preoccupation with doom and gloom and pessimism and destruction and and uh the end of good times.
Uh Mrs. Clinton's whole comment was, uh yeah, news is good, but don't be so sure that it's really good, and it's gonna get worse.
The Republicans are messing everything right in the middle of absolutely fabulous news.
So I wanted to lead with that today, because um I love inspiring you people.
I love motivating, and there are countless reasons because we are Americans, because we live in this country to be optimistic every day.
Yeah, we got our obstacles to deal with, and it's not a panacea out there.
But if there's ever been a people to demonstrate we can overcome and we can do things and we can be the best, it's us.
And in the face of this n constant, constant despair and gloom and doom and pessimism and and the almost encouragement to go ahead and fail, fail, we'll take care of you.
In fact, we Democrats love you as victims, which is exactly what they're saying to these illegal immigrants that somehow have the money and the time to spend all of these days marching around the cities of America demanding that they be exempt from the laws of the country.
Also, today want to talk about this this uh supposed rape case down at Durham, uh North Carolina at Duke.
The DNA came back on all 47 members of the lacrosse tree, and there's not one, not one bit of evidence.
There was no DNA on this woman, in this woman, from any of these 47 who have been their reputations have been tarred and feathered.
David Brooks had a great piece in the New York Times about this, said, you know, this is it's purely sociological.
This story was reported.
It was the same old thing.
There must be guilty because of the seriousness of the charge.
And instead of actually honing in on what the facts of this case might be, let's go ahead and look at it sociologically.
It's whites, it's blacks, it's a class struggle, and that's how everything is portrayed.
I there was something on the news that oh, Heinz Ward, you know, I'm a big Steelers fan.
I'm a huge steeler.
And Heinz Ward's over in the South Korea.
He's half Korean and half American.
His father was a black American in the Army, his mother's Korean.
And and and he's over there.
He's a football player, but he made big news because he's now taking up the case to prevent discrimination against uh uh biracial Koreans.
Everybody wants to be a victim.
I didn't know we had a problem with that.
But then what do I know?
I don't look at people as members of groups.
I look at them as individuals.
Quick timeout, stay with us.
Amidst billowing clouds of fragrant first and second hand premium cigar smoke and enjoying every wafting moment of it.
I am L. Rushball here, the EIB Network, and a hearty welcome to those of you watching today on the Ditto Cam at WWW.
A stray Ash, I had to blow out of the way.
Uh WWRushlimba.com.
Great to have all of you with us today.
Phone number 800-282-2882.
All right, the uh the so-called immigration rallies.
Uh it's not about immigration.
Immigration is just a vehicle.
What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is nothing other than the latest incarnation of the left, the socialist left, the Democratic Party in this country attempting to swell its ranks and regain power, uh, and using this issue as a means to do it.
Uh they're also trying to depress the Republican base into not turning out.
They're not getting much resistance on that from the Republicans who are uh mystifyingly absent on this, and I just it's it's it's hard to uh figure this out how they've soak so totally missed the boat on this.
Um I think they've gotten caught up in the notion that we have to have a group of people here and they're gonna be pandered to for their votes, and they gotta, and the competition is to try to show this group of people that hey, we're nice too, we're not the demons the Democrats say we are, and we'll uh we'll be glad to lead you if you'll vote for us.
But of course, that contest is guaranteed to lose.
The Democrats are out recruiting, they're attempting to make this group the next bunch of victims discriminated against by a bunch of white racist elitists, most of them Republicans.
And the uh Republicans don't seem to see this.
They just, it's it's amazing how utterly blind to what is happening in a tone deaf, uh politically deaf, whatever they just don't get it.
The uh the idea that this this is about immigration can be dispelled by simply look at the organizing group.
And I've had emails from uh people who were in New York yesterday.
There were barrels and barrels of American flags that were on hand, and I'm sure this happened at a lot of other places, and they were passed out to the people who showed up.
Um leave the Mexican flags at home, so they showed up and the organizers found as many of them they could and uh and took them and replaced them with American flags.
This whole thing is a show.
The idea that this would intimidate otherwise intelligent and informed elected officials, both Democrats or Republicans, is beyond me.
I'm not a politician.
One of the key organizers of the immigration protests nationwide, including yesterday's in Washington, is a group whose leaders are tied to the workers' world party.
Workers' World Party is a Marxist organization that has expressed support for the dictators Kim Jong il of North Korea and Saddam Hussein of Iraq.
The group is called Answer.
That stands for Act Now to Stop War and End Racism.
Do you know when Answer was founded?
Three days after 9 11.
And it was founded for the express purpose of blaming the United States for the attack that we suffered on that day.
Now, this bunch, Answer, has also proposed a nationwide boycott on May 1st, May Day, this is the Soviet communist holiday, to protest congressional efforts at immigration reform and border security, and it's an offshoot of the International Action Coalition.
That's an anti-capitalism group founded by former Attorney General Ramsey Clark.
What's what's happening here, folks, is this seen by these anti-American groups as a great way to weaken this country and to divide this country.
There are countless leftists, socialists, Marxists, communists, what have you, who are filled with their own self-loathing.
They're generally losers.
They don't matter much to anybody.
Uh and and they they recoil at success, dominance, achievement, and power.
And their objective is to tear it down.
They live under the illusion that capitalism has created by design a certain set of winners and a certain set of losers, and it's the winners that determine who the other winners are and who the losers are going to be.
They are in the losing side.
So they have this false notion that that's that's inherently unfair, and we must all be equal.
But the real objective is not equality.
The real objective is not quality lives for the people they claim to represent.
The real objective is not happiness and the pursuit of happiness for the downtrodden of the world.
It is simply a desire to destroy a country like the United States of America, however possible.
They fully well understand that destroying the distinct American culture is a classic way and perhaps an easy way of destroying this country.
So they launch on glob on to any subject that they think will advance that uh objective of theirs.
This is a perfect opportunity for them.
It's a perfect opportunity to stand with their Democrat socialist brethren and to promote them, and it's a it's a great opportunity to once again condemn this country.
If you'll notice, if you pay the attention, we've got some audio sound bites.
All of these people who are interviewed, and I've got quotes in news stories, they all blame America for making them, these illegals who they are.
They blame us for being selfish, they blame us for uh being uncaring, we have no compassion, we we accuse them of being criminals, and they say we are America too.
And we don't like the fact that you're being so critical of us and democratic politicians who spoke yesterday at the rallies after I'm sure doing a bunch of recruiting, go to the uh podiums and the microphones and basically endorse this attitude that America is rotten.
They endorse it and they encourage that attitude to be felt, to be thought of, and to be increased in in emotional intensity in these people's minds and hearts.
They are fomenting an actual dislike for this country.
They are encouraging it.
They will do whatever necessary, including wreck the country in order to get their power back.
It's their birthright.
It is their entitlement.
They have been stymied since 1994, and they are at their wit's end.
So this is just the latest issue that's been presented to them.
They happen to be playing this one, I hate to tell you this playing this one as far as their objectives are concerned.
This may give them the best chance they've had of anything that's come along in the last five years.
And I'll explain that.
We'll talk about it in great detail after this bottom of the hour timeout.
But a bunch of Marxists, socialists and communists are responsible for these protests yesterday, and they couldn't care less about immigration.
They care about destroying the country.
Back in just a second.
A man, a legend, a way of life.
Learn it, love it, live it.
You saw John Sweeney with Ted Kennedy yesterday in the at the Washington March.
Well, he was Ted Kennedy was there.
Now just last week we had heard that Sweeney was dead set against his guest worker program because he was afraid of the impact it would have on big labor.
Somebody has gotten to him, he's done a big turnaround because the labor unions, and you rank and file members need to know this.
Labor unions want to turn the illegals into citizens.
They're all for that so they can sign them up as members of the union and drive up the wages and benefits.
And I'd say you, you Republican business people who uh uh uh who like the illegal immigrants because of the low wage base, keep a sharp eye on what the libs and a big unions are planning for you.
Because they're going to go out and recruit these people, make them members of the unions for their because they're they're losing the uh uh big union is uh big labor is losing its its uh percentage of the workforce, been declining for years, and it's declining at a rapid rate now, and they need to replenish it so that the union leaders can continue to go out and buy new Cadillacs with union dues.
Now, Thomas Sowell has a uh a great piece today, as he most always does.
His piece is entitled Immigration Solutions.
Activists who are organizing mass marches and demonstrations in cities across America may well be considering themselves and congratulating themselves on the huge numbers of people they can get to turn out to protest efforts in Congress to reduce illegal immigration.
It is a pretty good effort.
Anybody thinks this is all spontaneous.
And anybody who thinks this is born of real anger, forget it.
That's not what the maybe anger.
I maintain to you today that the anger is not over illegal immigration and the anger is not over the Senate bill.
It's not over legislation, the anger is at America itself.
And these protesters have been rounded up.
They have been uh coddled and urged by Spanish language radio and television, uh underground networks, however the word gets out, but this is not spontaneous.
This is not a bunch of people who are emotionally upset about something and are banded together to demonstrate it.
They're being flogged.
One of the funniest things yesterday was Senator Kennedy showing up, and he's got a translator.
He uttered a sentence, and a translator would translate it into Spanish.
Over half the crowd, maybe 80% of the crowd spoke English.
Now, what does that tell you?
They didn't even need a translator, and this was shown later on in Kennedy's speech, uh, where they started repeating what he asked them to repeat before the translator told him what he had said.
Now, if these are really these all these illegal immigrants who have failed to assimilate and so forth, then what the hell?
These are largely English speaking people who've been rounded up by these people.
Everybody wants to matter, everybody wants to be something, everybody wants to be something other than the loser that they are.
When the schools start letting kids out of school to go to these things under the pretense that it's educational, uh you can make book on the fact that you got a bunch of left-wing administrators and the school board people encouraging this kind of thing, not for educational purposes, but rather to advance a political cause.
Sowell says that the releasing of children from school to take part in these marches and the support of the marchers' goals by some religious leaders demonstrate that this contempt for the laws of the land has spread well beyond immigrant communities.
For some, this is just another extension of their general anti-establishment attitudes and activities.
They're ready to protest virtually anything at any time, and that's a large contingent Of the people we all saw yesterday.
At the other end of the political spectrum are said to be staid and sober representatives of business interests who simply want a continuing supply of cheap labor.
They don't march, but they're busy, they lobby politicians.
Both liberals and free market libertarians often see this as an abstract issue about poor people being hindered from moving to jobs by an arbitrary border drawn across the Southwest desert.
I think description of the intellectual, the elites, the so-called smartest people in the room and the way they look.
The borders is something arbitrary.
And these are just decent people.
And all they want is a decent life.
And they come to this country and win a decent life, and by God, I'm not standing in her way.
I'm not gonna do it.
I have been with a liberal who said that very thing.
I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna share a little story with you people.
On one of my many trips to Southern California last year, went out with some friends.
You will know the names, so I'm gonna tell you the names.
The point is not the names.
After golf, my friend said to me, my host said, by the way, uh such and such has been invited to dinner.
He's a guest out here with one of my friends, and I said, Okay.
And I said, You did what?
I said, Okay, I'll do it this one time, but don't start packing the table with liberals every time I come out here.
He said, This is the first time it'll never happen again.
So we're at dinner.
Subject of immigration comes up.
My friend is on the war path about immigration, lives in LA, lives in Palm Springs.
Once the subject came up, that's all that was discussed, and nobody got a word in, and I thought I was listening to me as he went on and up.
Finally, the guest, a big, big media lib, is feebly trying to argue with the fully informed uh host of mine.
And the liberal didn't know diddly squat except what the New York Times has ever said about this issue.
And my friend is peppering him.
You know how many emergency rooms have closed, you know what all the statistics of what's going on in Southern California.
And the liberal buddy had absolutely no response for it.
And finally he got frustrated.
Uh because my friend just kept peppering it with questions, and he was he was on the defensive the whole night, but he didn't know when in what bad shape he was in until near the end of dinner.
And finally he said, Look, let me just put it to you this way, just so you understand where I'm coming from.
If there are poor people anywhere in the world, and they want to come to my country to improve their lives, well then I say let them in.
I'm not gonna stand in the way of any poor person, improving their lives.
And that's all it took.
Host exploded.
You're gonna let any poor person in your backyard to date your daughter?
You're gonna let any poor person come in when you don't know where they're and the guy maintained his position, and so we're driving home after dinner.
The hostess just cannot.
He thought that he had convinced this liberal that his position on immigration was all wrong.
And he was just, I can't believe the guy.
I can't believe the guy.
And I said, Let me tell you what this is all about.
That guy was more concerned that nobody think him cold hearted and cruel than anything else.
At the end of this dinner, he left thinking he won because he showed everybody how much more compassion he has for the world's poor than you did.
You come across to him as mean-spirited, cold-hearted, and cruel.
You don't come across as an American.
He doesn't hear an American speaking gloriously of his country and hoping for more glory in the future.
He hears you and he hears you as a mean-spirited, racist SOB, because that's the only way he can look at you in his template cliched stereotypical way.
The guy banged his wing sheet, says uh steering wheel said, My God, you're right.
Well, when I read Sowell today talking about this, both liberals and free market libertarians often see this as an abstract issue about poor people being hindered from moving to jobs by an arbitrary border drawn across the Southwest Desert.
In other words, there is no America.
There isn't an America.
We just say there is because we've called our states the Southern border, and we've drawn this line on a map.
But who are we to keep the world's poor out of our country?
It's the same argument I heard this liberal make in Palm Springs last winter, well, year ago.
And it just it it's it's true.
It's true.
This is one of the problems that we all face.
These are, I'm telling you, these are all leftist folks, and they are overwhelmed with their own guilt.
Phil Donahue, I'll never for Phil Donahue was discussing this one way back when he had his syndicated show.
And I saw him one day was lamenting the accident of his birth.
He said, you know, if I would have just been born 50 miles south, I would be one of the world's wretches.
And I'm sitting, I'm watching Donahue on TV back when I had that kind of time to waste.
And I said, Phil, you weren't born fifty miles south.
You were born an American.
And rather than feel guilty about it, why don't you do what you can to help people around the world become what you have become by it instead of making them victims and assuming they have no chance that their lives are filled with doom simply because they're born into circumstances that make it impossible in your mind for them to escape.
Well, there are far more people born to poor circumstances than wealthy in the world, and yet there are countless millions of great people doing great things who have escaped whatever these wretched circumstances and conditions are.
But to liberals it seems despite the evidence, it isn't possible.
Once you're poor, you're always poor because some faceless, nameless winner of life's lottery has deemed you forever to be poor.
And they actually believe this sort of stuff.
The way Soule describes this, intellectuals' ability to think of people in the abstract, is a dangerous talent in a world where people differ in all the ways that make them people.
The cultures and surrounding circumstances of those people are crucial for understanding what they're likely to do and what the consequences are likely to be.
Some free market advocates argue that the same principle which justifies free international trade in commodities should justify the free movement of people as well.
But this ignores the fact that people have consequences that go far beyond the consequences of commodities.
Commodities are used up, they vanish.
But people generate more people who become a permanent and expanding part of the country's population and electorate.
It's an irreversible process and a potentially dangerous process, as Europeans have discovered with their guest worker programs that have brought in many Muslims who are fundamentally hostile to the culture and the people who welcomed them.
Unlike commodities, people in a welfare state have legal claims on other people's tax dollars and expensive services in schools and hospitals, not to mention the high cost of imprisoning many of them who commit crimes.
Immigrants in past centuries came here to become Americans, not to remain foreigners, much less to proclaim their rights of their homelands to reclaim American soil as some of the Mexican activist groups have done and are doing and are encouraging.
Now, I know for some of you, like it was when I was very young, it was hard to get my arms around the fact that there were Americans who didn't like America.
It was really hard to understand it.
It's an instinctive thing.
You grow up thinking we're all in this together, we're all Americans, it's a great country, we've all made it what it is.
And when you learn, when you first realize that there are Americans and a lot of them among us who would just soon tear this place down and start over as continue to live in it and have it grow as it is, it stuns you and shocks you.
But for people who are organizing these rallies, the ones that have happened and the ones that are going to happen in the future, and the people who can sit there and look at the southern border as simply an imaginary line drawn by elitist evil Republicans to keep the world's downtrodden out.
You have to understand they have no concept of this country as special.
They have no concept of the thing I refer to as American exceptionalism.
And a lot of these people are found in the Democratic Party.
In fact, the whole concept of American exceptionalism embarrasses them.
The whole concept of American exceptionalism is a problem, makes them feel guilty.
What do you mean we're saying we're better than everybody else?
We're not saying we're better as human beings.
We're saying that our system, our capitalist system, the way we manage our affairs has allowed for more prosperity and greatness and achievement than at any time in human history.
And the fact that you want to tear it down is quite instructive to us.
But they see nothing special about the country.
They look around the world and they see the poor, the wretched, the whatever, and they blame this country for it.
Why, if we weren't so prosperous and we weren't stealing all the resources of the world, why these people wouldn't be as poor.
So it's only right that people from anywhere be allowed to come here and claim and take back what is theirs in the first place because the wretched, evil white European American founders stole it from them.
And that's what's driving this immigration business.
It's not about immigration.
It's the latest chance for the left to wreck and ruin this country.
Back after this.
I'd grab a couple phone calls here before uh uh time gets away from us.
Uh Philadelphia Weston, glad you called, sir.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Rush, good afternoon.
How are you?
I'm fine, sir.
Thank you.
Uh you know, uh a country that no longer relies upon laws to maintain order, will eventually look to the state to restore that order.
And that's ultimately what the left uh tries to do.
It it's been their MO for the last century.
Uh it's why Hillary Clinton talks down the economy.
Essentially, they want to inspire this lawlessness.
Uh they they want a country uh that has fallen into chaos, uh, that is poverty stricken.
Uh that's for what purpose?
So they go in and then write new laws to control behavior in people?
Because yeah, because the country that that's broken, uh uh Oliver Bertha Duran raises his arms and says, no moss.
Uh I I give myself over to the state.
I'm now a ward of the state.
All you have to do is.
I mean, the Soviet Union, Russia, Russia needed to be broken first.
But see, that's the thing.
You know, that that worked for a while, but the bottom line is you cannot find a single piece of evidence.
You cannot find it worldwide for the length of human history where such a system works.
It doesn't work.
And and uh you you can cite the Soviet Union.
I know what the Soviet Union did to imprison its people for 70 years, but what happened?
Bombed out.
East Germany, the whole Soviet bloc bombed out.
The Chinese, uh the Chicoms, you watch that that's that's gonna change dramatically as it already is in the in the future.
Uh the North Koreans, who wants to live in North Korea?
Who wants to live anywhere where those are the circumstances?
This country's not going to put up with it.
Don't think just because these massive protests that the red state base of this country is gonna throw up its arms in despair and give up.
I still believe this is going to backfire on the left, folks.
Don't misunderstand, I'm just I'm trying I'm trying to stir the backfire here.
I'm trying to stir you up.
I'm trying to tell you what this is really all about.
You can sit out there and debate illegal immigration all you want, and I applaud you.
We should do that.
But understand what's really at stake here.
And Weston, you're exactly right.
They want chaos, and if you don't believe it, just listen to what they're saying.
They're acting like it already exists.
The chaos is Bush.
The chaos is the war on terror.
The chaos is the war in Iraq, the chaos is the economy.
They're trying to create, they're trying to stir up this these feelings of uh discontent and anger and rage, and they've done it among their base.
Of course they want chaos.
You're you're a brilliant comment.
You're absolutely right that that's what they want uh want it for.
But the reason they want it, and you're probably right about this, is the citizenry of English says, the hell with this.
We need somebody to come in here with an iron fist and fix this stuff.
And the only people that can do it are the government.
That's they also foster that.
Uh, but it isn't going to get that bad.
It isn't going to get that bad.
They're not winning.
It just looks like it's the same old game.
Their buddies in the drive-by media have fired the bullets now into the crowd and and they've created another mess just like they created down in Durham with this rape story.
Reasonable people gonna have to go in and fix that and straighten that out.
What have we learned?
We have you know, the left has been promising us an agenda.
Have they not?
They've been promising us their agenda.
Well, we now have four planks of the liberal contract with America.
It's becoming clear to me what that contract is.
Number one, cut and run from the war on terror for anti-war votes, invest in America's defeat to get votes of the anti-war crowd.
Number two, amnesty for illegal immigrant votes.
Number three, a slogan, we hate Bush more than you do, and four, oh yes, we are strong and tough on security, too.
But we know what their contract is now, and it's not a winner.
And these people are not going to be voting uh in these mass numbers that they envision in this year's election or two thousand eight, anyway.
Quick well, not as many as they think.
I'm sure they'll get some of them back in just a second.
Okay, first hour in the can, ladies and gentlemen, soon to be shipped over to the secret privately located warehouse harsing housing all artifacts.
