In back of me, you see another iconic moment in American hockey, this time women.
And isn't that wonderful?
The American, and it seems to me all players who love America, none of these political idiots, has whipped Canada in a, in, we have to say, for the Canadian team, they played much better than anticipated.
This American team was going into this, considered the greatest team in the world, the best team in the world.
Of course, they proved that just now.
But this was the experts predicted this to be like, oh, maybe if not a shutout, someone predicted like 5-1.
Canada?
Us.
Oh, us.
Us, yeah.
So, I mean, I guess we have to give credit to the Canadian team.
Look, the players aren't.
They have a half-wit moron idiot.
I'm not allowed to say that for Lent.
They have an inadequate prime minister.
Let's put it that way.
They have an inadequate prime minister.
But that doesn't mean the hockey players are.
A good many of those hockey players played for American colleges.
Did you know that, Ted?
And they were teammates of the American players.
Okay, I did not know.
Now, I don't know.
I don't know.
So America came back to win this.
When we first put on the hockey game, which was, I think, sort of the middle of the second period or maybe toward the end of the second period, America was losing 1-0.
And then didn't they score both goals in the third period?
I think so.
No, no, we had one and then one in overtime because it was one nothing.
Oh, yeah, one in the third period and one in overtime.
The third period with two minutes left, I believe the goalie was pulled.
The American goalie?
Yes.
You pull a goalie at the end to get an extra skater.
Right.
Is that at one?
At 1-1, we pulled the goalie.
No, at 1-0.
We were down 1-0.
Until when?
Two minutes left in the third.
So we're doing this, and the mayor is obviously working on the show.
Somehow.
Getting ready for the show getting ready for a video call with my little granddaughter, who was going to do who was going to do ballet for me, which she did.
She was fabulous, by the way.
So I thought it was earlier in the first period that we tied it in the third period.
No, it was the very end.
We were running out of time shorthanded because so we pulled the goal and scored the goal.
Yes.
Now, who Keller scored the winning goal?
The captain Hillary Knight scored the goal to take us into overtime.
She's apparently also very and Keller scored record now.
And did she set a record?
Not Keller.
Hillary Knight did.
What you see on the screen now is that's Megan Keller.
I'm proud to say she's from Michigan and won the game in overtime.
Well, the gold hockey players are from Michigan, like Ted Goodman, I mean, right?
Yeah.
Thank you, man.
So she scored that goal in the last couple of minutes.
Yes.
And she's the captain of the team.
And is she a center?
Not her.
Megan Keller is not the captain.
We'll get a picture of Hillary Knight up there.
Oh, this is confused.
That's Megan Keller.
Yeah, put up.
She scored the winning goal.
Yeah.
Here's the team.
And she's 28, 29 years old.
I remember.
Yes.
Yes, 29.
Yeah.
I just thought you should propose to her.
Yeah.
Hey, look, good looking, talented, just won a gold medal.
I mean, come on.
One never knows, you know.
Yeah, Michigan.
Hey, we're from Michigan.
You're from Michigan.
You love hockey.
Talk to her about it.
Yeah, I watch her.
You love hockey.
I understand it.
You explain it to me.
I mean, I've been a hockey fan almost all my life.
I just don't know the game that well because I never played it.
It's like watching my son play.
Yeah, please let's do that.
And then we'll go, then we'll go to our, to our very, very terrific reporter.
Excellent.
Well, that will be a moment like in the 1980s the great win by the American amateur team against the corrupt Soviet Union professional team that had won something like four gold medals in a row, had beaten the American team during the summer at Madison Square guarding something like 10 to 2, Ted.
Yeah.
And America.
That's it right there.
That's the miracle.
Well, the game was basically at the end of defensive game because the winning goal was scored by the captain of that team, Mike Aruzzioni from Massachusetts.
And Mike scored it with about eight minutes left, if I recall correctly.
So basically, it was defense right to the end.
And they were boys, so they were playing against men.
Except they had an unbelievable coach, Herb Brooks, an unbelievable coach, who had given them what is described often as a St. Crispin Day speech, which is the speech that was given by Richard II.
I think it was the Battle of Agincourt, I think.
And he also, the trick was they were better conditioned.
They were younger, and he knew that, and he took advantage of that.
So when they got to the third quarter, could say that they, that the Soviets, were getting tired, and they weren't.
They were getting, they were.
If anything, they looked like they could play another three periods.
Yep yeah, great coach, one of the greatest coaches in the history of sports her uh, so now we're going to go to Kara Castranova, also an athlete also um, pretty happy about the um, American women.
Huh, It was.
It was amazing.
I haven't gotten a chance to look at the, I know that there was a big clip where they, right, they won in the finals.
There was a time overtime in overtime.
I haven't gotten a chance.
Right.
I haven't gotten a chance to look at that, but I can't wait because that's a really great Olympic moment, especially for female athletes.
He has to be heavy.
They're also, they were behind until the last two minutes.
And then the captain of the team scored a goal with two minutes to go.
That's crazy.
Yeah, that's like a great story, really.
I'm sure people will remember that in years to come with that Olympics.
Olympic Miracles00:15:10
And today was a big day, as you know, Mr. Mayor.
So many things going on in Washington, D.C. President Trump's so busy.
I don't know how he does it.
You probably have a better insight into how this man has so much energy.
Today with the Board of Peace meetings throughout D.C., they literally had D.C. shut down because there were so many world leaders here.
Then he literally jumped on a plane and went down to Georgia, where he visited very, it's crazy.
He went to Rome, Georgia.
He visited local businesses, toured a steel production facility, delivered remarks on his administration's progress to deliver prosperity to America.
So this guy like literally doesn't sleep.
And I just have a really fun clip of President Trump dancing in Georgia at a rally.
This is the Trump dance.
I think you need to have a Rudy Giuliani dance.
I was thinking you have to patent your own dance, Mr. I am.
You got to like challenge the president into a dance.
Yeah, a little different, but definitely, I'm sure it will be just as adorable and endearing, I'm sure.
But President Trump spoke to some of the voters in Georgia.
And as you know, Fulton County, rife with corruption.
I'm actually here with General Flynn at a event that he did for election integrity.
So a lot of interesting stuff happening.
I'm hearing in the undercurrent with election integrity and a lot of things that were going to get exposed very soon.
But President Trump basically asked a crowd of voters in Georgia who likes voter ID, take a listen to what they had to say.
Who likes voter ID?
Who likes proof of citizenship?
Who likes no mail-in ballots except for military illness, disability, or like you're on vacation.
Absolutely.
Agreed.
Absolutely.
No mail-ins to get thrown into the river, right?
We're going to explain it.
Well, I guess they weren't Democrats.
No, they weren't.
But actually, a lot of Democrats do, believe it or not, polling-wise, support voter ID.
So I think there are some normal Democrats out there in this country.
I think they said it was close to 75% that do support voter ID.
So the fake news is lying.
And so are Democrat lawmakers when they continue to say that it's racist and that black people aren't intelligent enough to acquire a voter ID.
That's all fake news.
I've spoken to many African-Americans, Hispanics that are actual citizens, and they find that to be very offensive, as you know.
And President Trump had a lot of supporters out there.
It was just like he likes it.
Trump supporters wearing red hats coming to support the president.
Take a listen to what this Georgia voter had to say when asked what he thinks the most positive effects of Trump being back in office is.
Been, in your view sir, the most positive effect with him being back in office?
Uh, lower prices, inflation down uh, groceries going down, getting the world config straightened out, getting everything resolved and economic situation getting better for everybody.
So that was pretty much covers it.
Huh, it does.
And uh, you know, like I said, that was his trip to Georgia.
Today he's pretty much back, I believe, at the White House already, so in a full day but, as you know uh, such a tremendous day when it comes to president Trump's Board OF Peace, which had its first meeting today here in Washington Dc.
Like I said, traffic was shut down.
There were delegations from all over the world here to participate in this historic event.
Uh, here is president Trump's uh initial remarks today at that meeting of the Board OF Peace.
Today is a tremendous honor to welcome you all to the United States Institute OF Peace for the inaugural meeting of the Board OF Peace very important, I believe.
It's the most consequential board, certainly in terms of power and in terms of prestige.
There's never been anything close, because these are the greatest world leaders almost everybody's accepted and the ones that haven't will be.
You know, some are playing a little cute.
It doesn't work.
You can't play cute with me, but they're playing a little bit.
But uh, they're all.
They're all joining everybody with most of them very immediately.
Uh, a few that we really don't want because they're trouble, take care of them.
But uh, this is the most prestigious board ever put together.
You know, i've seen some great corporate boards, i've seen some great boards period.
It's peanuts compared to this board because we have virtually everyone is the head of a country other than Johnny, but he's the head of soccer, so that's not so bad right, john.
So when president Trump mentioned those quote-unquote snubs, um, France flat out declines to be represented.
They publicly criticized the European Commission's decision to send a commissioner.
Germany and the Uk sent ambassadors instead of top leaders uh highlighting, I guess, how these major western capitals are still keeping Trump's new forum at arm's length.
I think they're a little fearful that this might take over the?
U.
But at least Trump is trying.
In my opinion, the president is doing something that no other president has done in trying to bring prosperity to the Middle East and Gaza, where the?
U. Has sadly failed.
So a lot of kind of uh, I guess, jealousy coming from these European leaders, you could say, and president Trump sort of calling them out on it, but a lot of nations were there.
There was Indonesia Albania, Saudi Arabia Jordan, to just that's just a few that i'm naming.
Um Susie Wiles was there, of course, Steve Witcoff, Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner, so everybody made speeches.
Uh, it was a really good day.
Uh, Marco Rubio really shined.
The president really praised him for all of the work that he's doing.
Yeah, he did a great job.
He was, and I think if you keep up doing so, i'll have to get rid of you.
Exactly, and Marco was sort of blushing because he is, you know, he's a smart guy, Marco Rubio, and I think he's giving a Jd.
JD Vance runs for his money because JD Vance, a lot of people are saying it might come between JD Vance and Marco Rubio.
We have three years to find out.
But, you know, I think it makes him a little nervous because Marco Rubio does do a lot of work for this administration, that's for sure.
And Iran, of course, Iran came up and President Trump said a number of things.
You know what?
Nothing better than to listen to the president himself and what he had to say today on Iran.
Now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing.
And if they join us, that'll be great.
If they don't join us, that'll be great too.
But it'll be a very different path.
They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region.
And they must make a deal.
Or if that doesn't happen, I maybe can understand.
If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.
But bad things will happen if it does.
So that's the president's message.
And he's saying that he's signaling a 10 to 15-day timeline for where this is headed and reiterating that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
So a lot of messaging in there today about Iran, as you know, on top of everything that they're planning to do with reconstructing Gaza, Mr. Mayor.
And a really quick, really, I think, significant moment.
Carolyn Levitt sort of presiding over this signing ceremony of this resolution.
This is President Trump and the rest of the, I guess you could say, founding committee members of the Board of Peace signing a resolution.
In advance of today's meeting, members of the Board of Peace were asked to vote on a resolution establishing the principles of financial integrity and transparency that will guide the board's work.
And that resolution has passed unanimously.
So now President Trump, as chairman of the board, will sign the resolution in the presence of a quorum of the board.
Wow.
That is really historic.
Where was it, Cara?
I couldn't.
Where do they hold it?
That was at the Institute of Peace here in Washington, D.C., where some are saying it was renamed the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace.
So I guess wherever you get your news, it has a different name.
But it is called the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace, and it's here in Washington, D.C.
So you almost had a feeling, though, of being like you're at the UN.
I've been in Security Council meetings in the UN.
I'm sure you have as well.
Sort of that really international feel.
And President Trump does have a lot to be proud of himself.
I know a lot of people are fearful because he's the chairman of the board.
He's the president of the United States.
I don't think he needs to keep, you know, people have this misconception that President Trump wants to keep putting his name on things, but he's the president of the greatest nation on the planet.
So I think that naming himself chairman of the board is not a big deal.
And furthermore, the president announced and the board announced that $7 billion will be pledged towards relief and reconstruction, while leaders and senior representatives from nearly 50 countries, like I said earlier, gathered as members or observers.
So they're pledging $7 billion.
And I think the United States will be chipping in an additional $10 billion towards this reconstruction.
So big news today, and I guess more news to come.
Is it on top of the $10 billion that he pledged the other day?
No, I believe it is the $10 billion that he pledged the other day, but that was again talked about today, how the United States is chipping in.
And then these member states combined will be $7 billion.
So as usual, the United States shipping in the most, but this is something the president is really proud of.
He really worked hard, as well as his team of Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and hopefully it pans out.
I guess time will tell.
This is something that no one's ever done before, obviously, to bring peace to this region.
It's been in calamity for many, many decades, if not, you could argue centuries.
So the president is giving it a fair shot.
I always think back to a debate, Mr. Mayor, one of the original primaries in 2016, when the president literally said on the world stage that one of the biggest honors of his lifetime would be to facilitate a deal that brings peace to the Middle East.
So here we are, 10 years later, and he's still trying to do that, sir.
Yeah, but he doesn't give up, which is one of his great strengths.
Doesn't give up.
And also, I mean, the reality is the United Nations has been useless.
Oh, gosh, since the Korean War.
They haven't solved the war.
And you can go back to President Clinton, who was asked why he didn't use the UN in Eastern Europe.
And he said very candidly, well, they're useless.
Right.
And that's about 30 years ago.
I mean, so they've had no impact on the Middle East.
They never have.
They never solved any of the wars there.
All they ever did is steal money and turn it over.
Most of the people they had working for them were Hamas.
Right.
So I know there were a lot of people worried that the UN might fold, but gosh, if they were gone, we wouldn't even notice.
We'd just save a lot of money and there'd be less crime in New York.
And there would be less traffic for sure on those days that they meet.
As you know, they closed down the whole highway over there in New York.
So they spend a great deal of time.
They spend a great deal of time beating up their wives and children, too, as the NYPD could tell you.
Wow.
Well, thank you very much, Kara.
Thank you, Mr. Mayor.
Have a great show.
As usual, I am very upset that the Vatican turned down being on the board.
Now, I'm not upset that the Pope turned down being on the board.
Don't know that it's appropriate for a Pope to be on a board like that.
I mean, you can go either way on that.
The president did invite him, and I kind of expected that he would turn it down.
But what we did need is the comment by Cardinal Paroline.
The last one who should be making comments about anything, by the way.
The Cardinal said that this is one concern the Cardinal, who seems to be a friend of Red China, said is that at the international level, it should above all be the UN that manages these crisis situations.
Cardinal, are you out of your mind?
The UN hasn't managed a situation.
I mean, some people say, I mean, it was the UN forces that fought to a draw, if that, in North Korea and South Korea.
They like to take credit for the peace there.
I like to think that, unfortunately, they're the tragic ones that allowed communism to take hold in North Korea.
But at any event, that's the last time they did anything to solve a war.
There are wars all over the world.
Trump solved eight of them in four months, none of which they had any impact.
Some of them going on for 20 years.
The UN is completely useless.
Some people say, oh, it's a place where people can go and talk out their differences and avoid war.
No, it isn't.
When that happens, there are bilateral or smaller trilateral conferences.
Russia and the United States are not going to go in front of the UN and solve their problems.
Neither is China in the United States.
It really is a place where these crooked countries can exert themselves and steal a lot of money and support terrorism and condemn Israel and condemn the United States.
It's a tremendous waste of our money because they never support us ever.
And nor do they support Western countries or Western civilization.
So, I mean, I know people would just be nervous if you did away with the UN.
I could tell them that I've been in favor of doing away with the UN since the 1990s when I was mayor because I had to deal with all the crime they committed.
You cannot believe the amount of crime these delegates commit.
I mean, a lot of these countries are just plain crooked countries.
And who do you think they send to New York?
Crooked people.
And they steal.
They don't pay their bills.
That's the least of it.
And they have a tendency, like a lot of these illegal aliens, to be perverts.
You get a tremendous number of child beatings, child sexual misconduct, raping the kid, beating up the kid, and beating up their wives.
And if they have immunity, they let them go.
In fact, they let them go very often.
The Democrats do, even if they don't have immunity.
I insisted that they produce their credentials.
Two Carriers, Massive Buildup00:15:16
I also enforced a rule that was pretty much ignored, which is a lot of these people don't really have official credentials.
They don't bother and they don't get it certified by the State Department.
They don't have immunity.
So Clinton and Albright and all those suckups used to get angry at me, but I would prosecute them, have them expelled.
I would take very, very strict action to collect their parking tickets if they didn't comply.
And I concluded on a pretty careful analysis that even though they bring a lot of, you would say, international traffic to America, to New York in particular, we get that anyway without them.
And they cost us a fortune that isn't reimbursed.
And they cost us a fortune in an enforcement.
But in any event, the Board of Peace is a great idea.
If it doesn't work, nothing lost because the UN doesn't work.
And second, Cardinal Paroline was passed over for Pope because there was a fear that he was too favorable to Red China.
So I can only conclude that the guy has a very, very warped view of international relations.
He may be a great theologian, but he sure as hell is a terrible, terrible political analyst.
And I also find it very, very strange as a Catholic that he's the one who kind of agreed that China could have a role in appointing cardinals and bishops.
What are you crazy?
Are you crazy?
So the College of Cardinals, he was like the most, he was the guy that would obviously get it as the Secretary of State.
And they passed him over because they think he's too sweet on Red China.
So, yeah, fine.
The Pope doesn't have to be a member of the board.
I actually don't think he should be.
But I think it's an absolutely idiotic statement to say this jeopardizes the UN.
I mean, does this guy really think the UN does anything valuable except act as a, I mean, in many ways, as a tool of the country that he allows to participate in the appointment of Catholic prelates, Red China.
I think they stopped that.
And I know this pope got selected because he's against that.
So I don't know if this pope is watching him carefully or not.
But it would have been perfectly fine just to say, you know, I don't think it's appropriate or we decline.
The shot about, you know, it's trying the UN and taking over for the UN betrays a bias on the part of the Vatican that is very, very odd and very disturbing to Catholics that are still very anti-communist.
And the Catholic Church was in the lead in dealing with anti-communism for decades.
Not that I want to get into too much history of religion, but that was the message of Our Lady of Fatima.
I don't know, I guess the Blessed Mother has been reversed by Cardinal Parolin.
The buildup in Iran is here's an analysis from a group that is largely very anti-Trump and very anti-Republican, the Atlantic Council.
And so I'm going to point to them, not because it has to do with favoritism or not about Trump, but sort of like their observation of what's going on, because they do have a lot of foreign policy experts.
And the person speaking for them was a gentleman that I don't know, Alex Putsas, who is a fellow of the Atlantic Council.
And he was observing that it is very, by and large, saying, you're not building up these forces there in the Middle East to get a suntan.
This is a massive, massive buildup.
Two carriers, two carrier groups.
The numbers are astounding.
So his conclusion is they're there for some real purpose, which is to conduct, and he is predicting that this will not be a singular or one or two day strike.
This will be a very, very, I wouldn't say very long, but compared to that, a much longer campaign.
Otherwise, they wouldn't bring that many resources there.
The military footprint, I'll just read this quote of his in the post here.
The military footprint tells us that the option is quite large.
This is sufficient firepower for a sustained and very, and for a sustained and very large air and naval strike campaign.
The only thing that any of this tells us for sure is the range of options on the table is very, very large.
Diplomacy is always his first option.
And Iran would be very wise to make a deal with President Trump.
This is Carolyn Levitt, and with this administration.
And Vice President Vance said on Tuesday that Iran had failed to meet several of Trump's negotiating red lines.
Despite some progress in talks that day, Vance was actually putting cold water on the report that this talks had gone very well or had gone well.
And that statement did not come from us.
That statement didn't come from Steve and Jarrett, from Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
That statement came from the Iranians who want to give that impression.
I don't know if they made an actual public statement, but the report that was leaked that they made to the president is that things didn't go very well.
So I think they're all together.
I don't think Vance is off the reservation here.
I think Vance, the two of them and the president, are pretty much on the same page here, which is they were not at all satisfied with what came out of it.
They came up with a so-called framework.
And the Iranians said it was a framework for an agreement.
The Americans described it as a framework for continued talks.
Now, that's, you know, if at this stage we're still talking about how we're going to talk, we're not very far in getting to the goal, which is a very serious one, of taking away every form of nuclear power from them and of their ceasing to support terrorist groups and giving us the ability to verify that, which means giving up a portion of their sovereignty.
And that's the only way to be able to create a safe world.
The other way is to get rid of them.
And I think they're, I, I can only attribute their conduct to the very reason why they shouldn't be allowed to have nuclear weapons, because they're irrational, religious maniacs with the harshest interpretation of the Quran and the things that Muhammad said.
Now, Muhammad did say them, but a lot of Muslims now ignore it.
So you got to sort of have a problem that also has to be solved within the Islamic religion and the source material.
It isn't just a Quran, it's the Hadiths that contain a lot of this unbelievably militaristic language.
And of course, it is a religion that was largely spread by murder, by conquering Iran, wiping out the Zoroastrians, killing massive numbers of Jews and Christians, which they continue to do.
The naval buildup is the largest in the Middle East, and maybe the largest ever.
I don't remember.
I mean, I remember most of the problems in the Middle East.
I don't remember an, if you want to call it an armada, as the president does, an armada of this length.
There are also well over 40,000 troops in the region.
I don't think there's any probability that the troops are going to be used for offensive purposes, but they may be used for defensive purposes.
There are two aircraft carriers, the Lincoln and the Ford.
There are 12 at this point, destroyers, 12.
And they are spread out in the Indian Ocean, in the Arabian Sea, in the Persian Gulf.
They have a couple of destroyers, at least, I know they had the coal in the Red Sea, and they have some in the Mediterranean.
That's all within easy striking distance of just about all of Iran and any place you want to think about.
We also have, what is it, 14 bases within striking distance of Iran, which is of course part of the defensive issue.
The chances that Iran could succeed in getting through to one or two of them, I guess you can't really be completely sure that you can eliminate that.
But I do think he's going the extra mile to make sure as far as he can that we don't lose anyone.
And God willing that that'll happen that way.
But it's just, I mean, you just can't control that.
You can just do everything you can to prevent it.
There are three literal combat ships.
Now, they would allow for amphibious landings.
The USS Santa Barbara, the USS Canberra, and the USS Tulsa.
Now, I guess that would be used if they had to rescue people.
I do not think there's going to be an amphibious landing in Iran.
I can't even count how many fighter jets.
They just brought 50 more.
So all I can do is tell you we have every form of fighter that we own in the region.
Many of them that will take off from an aircraft carrier, many of them will take off from bases as well.
And of course, we have the gigantic aircraft that I describe it as it goes down to hell.
And you should also know that we have picked up a great deal of intelligence that the Iranians are digging.
There you see a map of the distribution of some of them.
Those are the U.S. bases that surround Iran.
So those are all within easy striking distance of Iran, which is a problem both ways, right?
I mean, it makes it very possible for us to hit Iran from those, but it also makes it possible for Iran to hit them, depending on what Iran has left.
And I suspect, Rudy suspecting, right, as opposed to anything official, I suspect they're not going to be used offensively.
I think those bases are going to be on total defense.
They don't have to be with the aircraft carriers that are there.
And the drones that come from all kinds of different places, including the unbelievable infiltration of Iran by the Mossad.
When you remember back to the war, the last war, 12 days of Israeli pounded them in one night of unbelievable destruction by America.
When you saw those apartment buildings in which here's an entire apartment building and one unit is taken out, one window, two windows, three windows, boom, rest of the apartment building, okay.
That's extraordinary.
And that wasn't being done from those bases or from aircraft carriers or from America.
That is being done by drones that were probably within a mile, two, three miles of that because of the Mossad long-term penetration of Iran.
Now, that had to shake the hell out of them.
That had to shake the living hell out of them.
So, and also, the USS Gerald R. Ford is without doubt the largest carrier in the world, much larger than any Russian or Chinese counterpart.
China may have built aircraft carriers, but no one knows what they're worth.
We have to assume they're worth what appears on paper.
But that would be the first time that was true about the communists.
One of the great surprises after the Cold War was that we had very much overestimated Russia's capability, as you see in Ukraine.
I mean, you compare their invasion of Ukraine.
Even if you compare them in Afghanistan.
I mean, we captured Afghanistan in four months.
They never did.
Now, a problem in Afghanistan was nation building, not military conquest.
And of course, the last couple of years under Trump, we had it like locked down completely.

FBI's Role in Kidnapping Cases00:14:41
So this is quite a thing.
I mean, today in London, formerly Prince Andrew, now Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was arrested.
And the way that charges, I mean, the charges obviously stem from the Repstein revelations and what appears to be, as to him, you know, what they would regard as very strong proof that he was involved with underage girls.
The charge is a charge that has to do with crimes against the government.
And I suppose that's crimes that involve his being, I don't, is that Virginia Truffery, who died?
That's her.
And I think she was 14 when that picture was.
I think she was certainly underage.
I'm not certain if she was 14.
And of course, she was very, very clear about his having violated her.
I think numerous times.
She also was very, very clear that no such thing happened with Trump.
And in the earlier part of her experience with Epstein, she had, I think she had worked for a short time at Mar-a-Lago and that he was a perfect gentleman.
And she emphasized that three different times, maybe four, including one deposition in which the lawyer was leading her to say that Trump, he said, well, in addition to your affair with Donald Trump, and she interrupted, said, well, there was no such thing.
Things like that.
Now she was very candid about the people that she did know about.
And she also had no, I should say, in fairness, she had no evidence about Clinton and made that point, not as strongly, because I don't know that.
Well, she had been in the company of Clinton, but she had no evidence that Clinton had had sex with underage girls, although there are some very compromising pictures of Clinton similar to this picture, at least two that I they take out the face of the young lady.
So you can't make your own determination, but the reports say that the young lady was below the age of consent.
Now, I really, I guess it's unfair to show the girl.
You don't want to show her.
But given the press, even with Clinton, I don't, I mean, I just don't think he can make a determination.
So he's now charged with crimes.
That picture is a picture of him being arrested.
Is that what he's saying?
What's him leaving?
Him leaving the court or the police station?
Yes.
And I wonder how this guy's going to support himself.
And I don't know that he's left with any.
I think they took, well, they certainly took any continuing income from him.
I don't know what he has, but it's quite a thing.
I mean, it's quite shocking.
And there are experts on the crown that say this is the end of the monarchy, the beginning of the end of the monarchy.
As a honorary knight who I should tell you was first notified of the Queen's desire to give me an honorary knighthood, he's the one who came and sat with me and told me about it.
And I've met him two or three times at golf tournaments and other events.
And he was at the dinner that was given to me the night that I was given an honorary knighthood.
I mean, he seemed like a, for a, I mean, I don't know that I had ever met a prince before.
I mean, a real prince.
I had met Obama.
Seemed like a regular guy.
I guess that's something you really can't pick up.
That's something you don't, you know, people aren't going around telling you I'm a pedophile, right?
Jesse Jackson's laws is a sad one.
I mean, there are many things I could say about Jesse Jackson where I disagreed with him or things about him that were questionable in his use of the Rainbow Coalition and that sort of thing.
But Thinking about current Democrats, we could use a young Jesse Jackson right now.
Yep, yep, he would border on going too far with white racism and that sort of thing.
Although he did grow up in an era in which there really was white racism.
So you'd have to say that even if he didn't make the transition, given the changes that were going on in society, he had to grow up under very different conditions than the people who are making the charges today grew up under.
And on the other hand, he was, he, you might not know this if you listen to his speeches, because they were, they were very, very emotional and very, and I think everyone would acknowledge, friend and foe, that he was a great speaker, particularly for that style of speaking.
But I guess this is a long way of saying, I thought he was a pretty nice guy.
And I know the president did, and president knew him better than I did.
And it is remarkable that the family just reached out and invited the president to his services.
I mean, Democrats don't invite the president to anything.
And I am unclear on whether they invited Obama.
He and Obama did not get along.
That was not a big secret, and it was not, they both come from Chicago, and I actually hardly am an expert on exactly why.
But I really would like to follow up on whether Obama has been invited by his family.
And it was a close family, so I have to assume that they're carrying out his, they're carrying out his wishes to a very, very large, to a very large extent.
I think they are.
Now, in the Guthrie case, I guess before we sign off, we should say that the chicken is finally coming home to roost in the sense that people are now starting to see what a horrible job the so-called sheriff did in handling this.
And it's a tragedy.
It really is a tragedy.
I mean, the first time I heard him speak, I was with Ted, and both of us came away with a feeling that we thought might be a little hasty and unfair, that he seemed kind of like a publicity-hungry jerk.
I'm sorry, I'm not supposed to use names.
You know why I'm saying that?
The Pope gave a Lenten message, and he suggested things that we should all give up for Lent.
I'm giving up ice cream, which is pretty damn hard for me.
That's a big one.
But apparently, what's even harder, he said, you shouldn't call people names.
We should be more cordial or more humane with each other, even if we disagree.
So here I have already violated that three or four times, although I didn't have ice cream yet.
I'm sure the God-fearing left is.
But I'm going to try very, very hard not to do that.
So I take back that, and I will just say that, but I am entitled to say that the sheriff did a terrible job, which is a very professional opinion since I used to do that kind of work.
And messing up, screwing up, defiling, however you want to call it, the crime scene was only the least of it.
It is incomprehensible that you don't bring in the FBI from moment one.
I make the point that the New York City Police Department, which is the largest in the United States, the most experienced in the United States, and two and a half times the size of the FBI.
And I don't think it was just me.
When I was the mayor or an assistant U.S. attorney, the FBI was called in by the New York City Police Department, moment one of the kidnapping.
And not because the NYPD is unable to handle a kidnapping, because the FBI is valuated in a kidnapping.
And that hasn't changed even if even if all of the problems in the FBI haven't been cured yet.
And their laboratory in Quantico, I got to believe the only reason to avoid them and go to a laboratory in Florida, you have some kind of a corrupt deal with them.
I mean, it's insane that you avoid them.
Now, it may not be a corrupt deal because this guy had some kind of a vendetta with the FBI because the FBI, when he put his predecessor sheriff in jail and conducted a long investigation of his police department.
And believe it or not, that was, he's a Democrat.
That was under Obama that they did that.
And so I have to, there's nothing, there's nothing that you could arguably say was political about it.
It was a Democrat administration investigating a Democrat sheriff's office.
So whatever it is, it's not political.
And as a result of that, he's basically frozen the FBI out all these years.
But okay, there are probably a lot of things that they can do without the FBI.
And there are probably a lot of things they got hurt on independent of this by not bringing in the FBI.
But the one where it becomes absolutely unquestionable is in a kidnapping.
And you will never know, or maybe we will when we find out exactly what happened.
But at least at this point, you just don't know how much they lost because we don't know what they obliterated by defiling the crime scene.
And you don't know what was lost in not going to the FBI immediately and having them bring these things into their laboratory.
And certainly the DNA analysis would have been expedited.
And you would have had a much bigger database in which to use them immediately.
So I see that the criticism now, the criticism now is coming from the local law enforcement that basically say that they're pretty much a terrible sheriff.
Well, what a shame.
What a shame.
And you can't redo it.
right and isn't it this is not you don't get it you don't get a makeup uh on on a kidnapping But you really don't know what a man's made of, right?
You can't really prepare for it.
It happens and a leader is either prepared for it or they're not.
That's the tragic.
Yeah, I guess that was apparent immediately.
Before we knew there was, when we first saw him, I could see there was a small problem.
There was an ego problem and a narcissist problem that exists in law enforcement everywhere else.
And it was going to get in the way.
But I had no idea it would be at this dimension.
And it's a terrible, terrible thing.
And the FBI should take over the investigation.
But believe it or not, that can only happen if the family demands it.
And maybe the family has been conned by them in some way.
Well, we're going to go over to X now, and We'll have more on Iran in particular there and cover a lot of the other stories, as well as show you a couple of studies that are now out showing you just how unfair your American media is and how ill-informed we are as a result of it.
So you go over to X, eight o'clock we start, which is coming up.
And thank you, those wonderful women who play hockey on the American hockey team.
You made America proud today and you gave us a source of joy and unity and several members of your Olympic team have acted almost like traitors to the United States.
And it was very, very disheartening, particularly to see that woo-goo girl who is an American-born American theoretically, and she's skiing for China because they paid her money.
Well, God bless America.
God Bless America00:00:06
We'll see you tomorrow night.
