America’s Mayor Live (617): Previewing President Trump’s Address Before a Joint Session of Congress
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
- - Right ahead, because it is a special night, right?
It's the night of the president, first speech to the nation, which would normally be the State of the Union speech, but because this is technically his first term.
I know that's strange because he had another term, but it wasn't continuous.
So he gives what would be called a joint address rather than a formal State of the Union speech, but it's effectively the same thing.
He is going to cover...
His accomplishments take about 15 days.
Then he's going to spend time on the economy and show us how his plan for not just reducing prices, that's the only part of the economy, to give us the strongest, best, and most inclusive economy we've ever had, which he did once before and he can do it again, this time I think much better.
He's off to an unbelievable start.
Because the press doesn't give, I mean, they don't attack him the way they used to, but they still don't give him the credit that he deserves.
The deals that he has made are ingenious.
So they complain about the tariffs, right?
So he's got two Japanese automobile companies moving to America to build cars in America to avoid the tariff.
Isn't that why he did it?
He's got the president of Mexico, I think, with 10,000 troops coming to the border or at the border trying to stop fentanyl.
That's why he did it.
He even got the silly guy up in Canada to get 15,000 troops or whatever the heck they are to work in a task force under a drug czar to stop fentanyl.
When they first send people back...
Well, we can't send Biden and his communist counterparts in the government.
We can't send people back to Venezuela.
They won't take them back.
Until Trump said, you're going to take them back.
And they went back.
And they're going back.
And Tron de Uruguay is going back.
Not only that...
Not only that, when the president of Colombia, Petro, Petro, I think it's Petro, guy's terrible president.
I love Colombia, worked in Colombia a lot, and did a lot of work there and a lot of success there, which someday I'll brag to you about.
But the president, when the first group of Colombians were sent back, said, we're not going to take them.
Our president said, good, we're not going to do any business with you.
He called up and he said, well, I'll send my own plane for him.
Now they're paying for the planes to take the people back to Colombia.
And they just did a poll in Colombia.
Do you know this?
Trump is more popular than the left-wing communist president of Colombia, who I think has got just one term in office.
That country is essentially not a crazy, wacky South American left-wing country.
It's extraordinarily...
Well-educated, very, very substantial group of people, including, you know, the country is made up of what they would say indigenous people, and including extremely well-educated, both the ones whose trace of pure Spanish lineage and people who are either more mixed or indigenous people, pretty much across the board in terms of...
In terms of how industrious the people are.
It also has what I would regard as the best police force in South America.
It was the easiest one for me to work with.
And did a remarkable job of breaking up the FARC until a couple mistakes were made.
And now this latest president is a left-wing communist fool.
But Trump intimidated him, and he's doing what we want.
He's taking him back.
The border numbers?
They're down 95%, and Congress hasn't passed a single law, which means Biden could have done it any time.
It was a choice to allow our country to be invaded.
Pretty damn obvious.
The only thing that he is very realistic about is you're not going to just snap your finger and get rid of all the criminals that came in here or Chinese spies.
Or terrorists.
And since the FBI didn't pay attention to this until about a year ago, when the criminal who was running the FBI tried to protect his ass by telling us, there are many, many terrorists in this country, many more than ever before, and we don't know where they are.
Well, you don't know where they are because they didn't try to stop them from coming in.
I mean, any sensible head of the FBI would have complained about that immediately.
Gone to the president.
What the hell are you doing, Mr. President?
Every terrorist group, every organized crime group sees this as a great invitation to get their people in.
Trans de Uruguay, the Mexican cartels have developed, particularly the Mexican cartels, have developed agents in every city, every state of the country.
Talk about that, I'm sure.
And he should definitely spend some time explaining.
The two incredible deals that he's just made to have cars built here in the United States.
And maybe, I don't know, it's hard to say, maybe the biggest of all, Taiwan's biggest, the biggest manufacturer of incredibly sophisticated chips, and I don't mean for a casino, I mean for the supercomputers, is Taiwan.
They have a monopoly on it.
They have control of it.
And China has to get them from Taiwan, which increases maybe the desire for China to take Taiwan.
It increases our necessity to protect Taiwan.
Because whoever wins the tech war, the super tech war, wins the war.
Because it's intricately connected with the military.
You can have the most...
The biggest military expenditures are...
We're talking about sophisticated military.
You have old-fashioned rockets.
This artificial intelligence will find them and blow them up before they even take off eventually.
But if you're way ahead in supercomputing and quantum computing and artificial intelligence, you can stop all that.
And there are several very, very good pieces.
Note them for you tomorrow night that you can read.
This is a two-pronged battle.
It used to be military spending and military hardware.
It is that, but it's also who's going to win the high-tech war.
Whoever does be the dominant country on earth.
Trump is very aware of that.
The jerk before him wasn't, or maybe on purpose was giving it away to China.
China gave him an awful lot of money.
To act like a traitor to the United States, which on several occasions he did in a very dramatic way.
I'm talking about Biden.
So I hope he does explain the deal for chips because, as I understand it, the biggest company in Taiwan is going to start off with a $100 billion investment.
$100 billion investment.
Can they hear that?
Can you turn that off?
Can you hear that?
Can you hear that?
So, I mean, this is really quite remarkable to have this investment in the United States by Taiwan.
And in a way, it's a very, very, it's obviously a very prudent decision by Howard Ludnick and the president.
And I'm sure the military was involved in this also, in having these chips now made in the United States.
Now, obviously not all of them.
Taiwan is still going to be the major manufacturer.
But anticipating, this is the kind of thing that Biden couldn't do at all.
And by and large, Democrat governments don't do well.
Clinton didn't do it well.
Carter didn't do it well.
And you look at all those mayors and governors.
They don't anticipate.
They don't think down the road.
They think money comes on trees.
You can spend as much as you want and you face problems, you know, the day they start, which is why you look at, I mean, they can't manage.
You look at Obama when he did Obamacare, the biggest thing he was going to do, the computer went down the first day because they don't know how to run anything, among other things.
So the president is anticipating a lot of things here by moving this massive amount of chip manufacturing.
And I think it's going to be centered in Arizona.
But they're developing five different...
They're developing three different factories for three different types of, let's call them superchips.
And then they're developing two distribution centers.
So this is a five-part project.
It's thousands and thousands of jobs.
It's not going to be exclusively in Arizona, but it's going to be mostly in Arizona.
They picked the place.
And they intend to, if this works, to do a lot more of it.
Now, what does this do?
This gives them a backup if, God forbid, China invades.
And they've got to move those ships out of there really, really quick.
Eventually, I think they're going to want to be able to want to transition all that on a dime.
Which you can't do right now, but down the road you can.
And have it, you know, in the middle of the United States, across an ocean that China's going to have to cross, even with one of their super-duper rockets.
Because if we have the technological advantage, our super-duper rockets will be more super-duper than their rockets.
So I hope you get the whole plan here.
You've got a president like this who's doing this for the good of America, and we have a bunch of Democrat jackasses, and you know what their contribution is?
What are they going to do tonight?
How can they disrupt the speech?
Are they going to have noisemakers?
Or, you know, how are they going to follow their vote of yesterday, which basically said men can participate in any kind of women's sports or walk into ladies' rooms?
And they're going to put on, as their answer to Trump, somebody who was so cowardly they couldn't even vote on this yesterday.
Every Democrat voted against a bill but two.
The woman who's going to speak tonight couldn't figure out her position on it.
I mean, just what we need, another Democrat weasel.
A Democrat who, remember John Kerry?
Well, I voted for it.
Before I voted against it, and then I voted against it.
But I don't remember what my final vote was.
This exactly typifies why their party is so useless.
Yeah, they got some really evil people.
They got some real criminal types in the party.
But the real problem is that they're made up...
It's a party of...
Reprobates?
No, coward...
After yesterday's vote, I would have to say, I can't think of a person there that has a single bit, even an ounce of courage.
I don't know.
So Elise Slotkin, who's a one-term, first-term senator who won a very narrow victory in Michigan over Mike Rogers, and obviously has real difficulty making up her mind.
On a crucial question of both religion and science, he's going to give the speech.
Let's see.
Maybe she doesn't know how to define women, like the Supreme Court justice.
Trump has cut off aid to Ukraine.
So, Zelensky has gone, ran off.
Right before the meeting with Trump, Zelensky met with all of Trump's Democrat enemies who developed the completely illegal, in some ways traitorous plot, to remove a legally elected president based on forged documents and information.
So he had breakfast.
He prepared for meeting with Trump by having breakfast with Trump's biggest enemies.
Now, he walks into the Oval Office with Donald J. Trump knowing that he's got a very crooked background.
He's the product of one of the two or three most crooked oligarchs in Ukraine, Karl Moisky.
He is covering up massive amounts of crime.
Let's just focus on Ukraine, involving people in Ukraine where he could recover the money and help his country.
He doesn't.
He's covering up all of the crooked deals with Democrats, because it is a Democrat enclave.
Remember, do we have the video or the news article about, you know, you're talking about interference in the election.
So when I first found out about Biden's criminality, it came to me this way.
The call was, they are doing in Ukraine, the Democrats are doing in Ukraine what they are falsely claiming Trump did in Russia.
And the Ukrainians are interfering much more in the election than the Russians.
Now, you don't have to take my word for it.
I mean, they were so overboard for Hillary that the Ukrainian ambassador...
To the United States, endorsed her.
And so did President Poroshenko, who was considered at that time the biggest crook in Ukraine.
Eventually voted out of office because he was a crook.
And sitting somewhere happily with his billions and billions that he took.
That's the story of Ukraine.
And Zelensky...
Zelensky is very much a material part of it.
And most importantly, he's covering it up.
So when he asks for more money, you've got to be suspicious.
That money is going into one of the most corrupt countries on earth.
It's impossible that some of it isn't being taken by the sick oligarchs that have run that country into the ground.
The Ukrainian people deserve a lot better than this comic actor who is a stooge for the oligarchs.
And whatever kind of peace you put together in security agreements, it's about time for the Ukraine to have an honest government.
Since they emerged from the Soviets, they've had only about three or four years of an honest government.
And the rest of it's been some like Zelensky, some worse.
Not too many better, except for Victor...
I've got to get the right pronunciation of his name, because it's a lot like Yadashenko, because he ran against Yadashenko and defeated him, but we'll get it for you.
Very, very fine man that was poisoned.
Allegedly by Putin.
So he goes to...
So he finishes with the Democrats.
He goes in there and he completely...
He completely...
He acts like a little punk.
He looked like a little punk.
And I think, you know...
And they kind of...
They attacked Vice President Vance for standing up to him.
Vice President Vance took 40 minutes of that before he said anything.
It's not as if, I mean, 40 minutes of him...
Who the hell does he think he is?
You know, let's start off with the fact that we don't owe Ukraine anything.
Ukraine's never done anything for us.
They're a wonderful country, wonderful people.
I mean, the government's a horrible government.
The people are wonderful people, and they've been through terrible things.
But they've never done anything for us.
This isn't Israel.
It's not Japan that's now our ally and has done a lot for us over against China or South Korea or Taiwan.
I mean, they put a lot on the line to help you.
Or Israel.
You know, we've given Ukraine 20 times more money than Israel.
And you can be sure in Israel it's being used the right way.
I mean, Netanyahu threw...
Zelensky's patron, or as we say a New York rabbi, out of Israel.
So, the guy comes in, acts like a...
I want the war to go on.
When he leaves, he doesn't apologize, even though he knows he's wrong.
Then he goes and makes a statement.
What exactly did he say?
He thinks the war is going to go on for a long time, Ted?
Was that his exact quote?
His exact words are...
Is that recorded anywhere?
We have the...
Bring up the...
We have Zelensky's words.
Because Trump really...
I think Trump really...
That would be cut.
I believe it's under topic 4. So yeah, we have, of course, President Trump saying that we're pausing Ukraine aid.
And Zelensky, of course, in response...
And if we can bring up, what cut number was that?
Well, I see the...
What cut number was that?
That was 10. Let's go to cut 10. If we can bring up 10, there it is.
It's not ending anytime soon.
Oh, that's ridiculous.
I think the quote is, it's not ending anytime soon.
Yep, and we should have that as cut.
Now, he comes to the United States.
It's not ending anytime...
Doesn't he look like a punk?
Now, that's a hell of a thing to say, and there's a lot to that that has to be analyzed because it'll show you what a bad man this is.
If the war isn't ending anytime soon, hasn't he been lying?
Didn't he say a dozen times he's ready to make peace?
And didn't he lead the president to believe that he was coming to the White House in order to sign?
An agreement on mineral rights so that America would have access to a vast amount of minerals that we're going to need in our effort to stay ahead of China, which, by the way, is the only way they're going to have to stay free because there's much more of a chance that they're going to be enslaved by the Chinese than even the Russians and all the rest of us.
And quite obviously, you've got to count on us.
To lead that battle because, well, you'll see what happened.
After he made that statement, I think the president quite rightly said, well, we're cutting you off, pal.
Because all that statement means is he wants the war to go on forever.
He didn't come to the White House or anyplace else or Europe with a plan to end the war, with a plan to win the war.
He came to make peace.
Then decided he's not, and now the war is going to go on for some time.
Like war without end.
Now, let's get real.
That means money without end.
War ends, the big bucks end.
It might be a lot of people, a lot of oligarchs, crooked ones around him who control the little weasel.
And they say, oh, what a great defender of his people.
He doesn't know where $100 billion went.
He doesn't know where it went.
What, do you want to admit you're a crook?
Let's just get up and tell us.
I mean, how could you not know where $100 billion went?
I can give you a couple of good ideas of where some of them went.
You want me to start naming the oligarchs?
The old Democrat crew?
The ones that donated more of the Lincoln bedroom I was thinking about.
Yes, one of them spent a lot of time in the Lincoln bedroom.
The biggest contributor to the Clinton Library were the Ukrainians, and one of them was Viktor Pinchuk, who was the son-in-law.
Of Kuchma, who was the president of Ukraine that really kind of started the corruption and also is the one who is alleged to have chopped the head of at least one reporter off.
That's Victor.
Victor, very big Democrat, in love with the Clintons, in love with Obama, and the ambassador to the United States in 2016 endorsed Hillary.
They used the American Embassy as a Hillary fundraising enterprise.
They spent a great deal of money there producing false evidence against Manafort, Trump, Donald Trump Jr., as part of trying to derail the specific plan using the Ukrainians and the phony book that they put together to derail Trump during the campaign.
And it didn't work.
And then they just carried it over into the presidency.
So now they didn't derail them, but they were going to remove a lawfully elected president with a paid-for story that was absolutely untrue, much of which emerged from Ukraine.
So then you get to the 2020 election, and when Biden gets up and says that the hard drive...
It was the product of Russian disinformation in which both myself and President Trump were complicit.
This little weasel has a file that proves that everything on the hard drive is true.
And about two times that.
He knows where the offshore bank accounts are.
So from the beginning of this war, when he was dealing with Biden, he could lean over and say, hey, Joe, I need that money now.
Or they'll get to see the pictures Giuliani doesn't have.
And they'll get to see the transactions that Giuliani doesn't have.
Oh, and by the way, there's a hell of a lot of recordings between your father and Poroshenko, which the State Department is covering up.
Your State Department is covering up.
But, you know, two of them have leaked from here.
I can't even guarantee they're all going to remain.
But if those 16 hours go out, they'll probably execute your father.
I mean, don't they do that with traitors?
And of those, they'll execute you.
So Joe would say, you want another 60 bill?
After all, it wasn't Joe's money.
He made bare minimum 10 million, more likely 20 million in Russian bribes, in Ukrainian bribes.
And that 3.5 million from Russia came from one of the people closest to Putin.
And the only oligarch in Putin's list that Biden hasn't sanctioned.
I think that was a bribe.
So, Zelensky knows all this, and he kept it secret in 2020, which helped the Bidens and the Democrats carry out their fraud.
And then in 2024, he went so far as to come here and campaign with the Democrats in Pennsylvania.
Do we have that, Ted?
We have his campaigning in Pennsylvania with the Democrats?
14?
That's so...
Yeah.
You know, there's one guy.
It looks like he may be taller than Shapiro.
That may be the one guy he's taller than.
That's right.
So here's Zelensky in, I believe, October of 2024 at an ammunitions plant in the state of Pennsylvania.
And there's Shapiro.
But not only Shapiro.
There's Casey.
There's Bob Casey.
And there are two candidates for Congress.
That's right.
And he will not tell us who paid for the trip.
And it's alleged the Democratic National Committee paid for the trip.
That's called election interference.
And by the way, how about that?
A Democrat signing a bomb that's about to be sent.
I wouldn't be surprised.
That's not the Democrat party I remember.
I wouldn't be surprised if USAID paid for this trip somehow, to be honest with you.
Well, that's right.
They followed it, I'm sure, through a group like that.
But who's really paying for it?
Well, I mean, the last thing that Zelensky is has the transparent government.
In fact, he's not even the president anymore.
He's a hangover president.
Yeah, I wonder how he'd do in an election right now.
He's a hangover president.
Do you think these people running away from being conscripted to die on the front lines would vote for Zelensky again?
I don't know.
I don't think so.
Well, Mayor, I think there's some truth to this, right?
Part of him keeping this going...
I mean, look, this works out beautifully for him.
He can be president for life without another election if this war goes on forever.
What does he care if another 100,000 of his people die?
Is it interesting?
President Trump seems to care more about the dying and the death.
Please, don't get confused here.
This war is going nowhere.
These are needless.
Every person who dies now, this is like the people who died in the old days who didn't find out the war was over because we weren't able to communicate it.
Well, now we can communicate it.
This isn't going to change.
The only thing that's going to change is Russia's going to take more territory.
I'm sorry, pal, but, you know, Biden wouldn't give you the weapons that you needed if you had any chance to win this war.
You think Trump's going to give it to you?
You think Europe doesn't have them?
Like I said, Keir Starmer announced that the British military will support you.
And one of the press idiots said, what military?
We haven't seen a military around here in a long time.
And the other guy, Macron, has a very interesting suggestion.
A partial truth.
These left-wingers are absolutely wagging.
What is a partial truce?
So I don't know.
It means some people will be...
Some people will be singing Russian and Ukrainian folk songs together, and other people will be killing each other.
Because it's partial.
If it was a complete truce, everybody would be shooting.
If it was no truce, I mean, if it was a complete truce, nobody would be shooting.
If it was a truce, everybody would be able to live.
And what are you dying for now?
You are not even making significant demands for land.
Trump is.
Because Trump understands that there is a part of this country, meaning a part of Ukraine, that is very valuable.
And what he's taken.
He didn't get what he wanted.
I don't know if he wanted Kyiv or he just wanted to destroy it.
But he wanted a much bigger portion than he took of Ukraine.
Because Kharkiv, which is to the north of what he controls, Kharkiv is the second most profitable city in Ukraine.
And he has spent...
Enormous amounts of effort trying to get Kharkov.
So now if you look at the map, you can see what he has there.
So you see the pink or whatever color.
What color would you call that there in the southern?
I want you to look at it because this is what the war was all about.
Before he invaded under Biden, because he didn't invade under Trump, ever.
Okay, so he had 96% of this already.
He had the real prize, Crimea.
But what he wanted was an unobstructed land bridge to Crimea.
And he's accomplished that.
Now, all land is not equal.
Not when you have a country that has massive amounts of minerals.
Two-thirds of the minerals are in the Ukrainian part.
That part that isn't the lighter, tanner, whiter.
Two-thirds of the minerals are there.
But one-third are here in that area.
That's called Donbass.
I believe, because I'm very smart and can understand things that other people can't, I believe Trump is the one who's putting, I'll get your territory from Putin.
Trump is doing that because he's trying to do something for him.
He's trying to get him back.
Actually, the most critical part of what Putin took.
The rest of it's going to cost them money.
So you know what Putin did today?
Putin said, well, if he doesn't make a deal, yeah, I will.
For the minerals.
I don't have a problem making a commercial deal with the United States for minerals.
Of course, it would screw China.
But, I mean, Putin's capable of playing two sides against the middle.
If he's capable of killing people, he's capable of two sides against the middle.
And don't tell me we shouldn't do that.
How the hell?
I mean...
Any number of people, particularly the Communist Orient, will tell you we won the Second World War by having to do business with Stalin.
And Putin may be bad, but he's not Stalin.
If we have to do business with Putin to cut off China, we just won.
Because Putin may be awful, but China is multiple times worse.
There's no Communist Party, no Nazi Party.
No party that's ever killed more of its own people than the Red Chinese Party.
Maybe 80 billion, maybe 100. This guy alone, probably about 10% of that.
So, they are serious competitors for being the most powerful country on Earth.
Russia...
Russia wouldn't even be a competitor if it didn't have a very, very substantial nuclear fleet.
Their economy is too weak and they're too small.
So we're going to take a break and we'll be right back.

Welcome back to America's Mayor Live.
And we have on the line, we have on the line, Cara Caranova, who, as you know, covers the White House, but she also covers Washington.
And as I believe she's at the Capitol, just a half hour away from the speech, you look like you're getting more excited, like it's a New Year's celebration.
It is a celebration.
Who doesn't look forward to hearing President Trump speak?
And he said tonight he's going to really tell it like it is that came out in a press release.
So I'm looking forward to it more than any of the speeches he's done in front of Congress in the past.
I think there's a lot to celebrate.
We've been through a really hard four years.
I think this is a completely different presidential term than it's ever been before, especially with President Trump, even in his first term.
So I think this one is going to be very different than any we've seen before.
Well, I think it is going to be a historic speech because he's gone through a historic period of time in overcoming.
I mean, they did everything to him, including trying to kill him.
He survived.
And now he's not surviving.
He's thriving.
He's leading our country in probably the biggest revival we've ever had.
The amount of money invested in the United States in the last four weeks, you can't even count it.
It's ridiculous.
A hundred billion from Taiwan?
I'm listening to you, Mr. Mayor.
It's very loud here.
There's a lot of people here kind of clearing out, getting into their seats at the speech right now.
Everybody's very excited, like I said.
And you were talking about survivors, and people are trying to figure out.
I don't know if you've heard of the designated survivor, and who your prediction on who that would be, where they pick really somebody generally in the cabinet.
And they put them at a remote location whenever they have events like tonight where everybody in Congress is here or the Vice President is here in the Cabinet.
They'll generally take one person and put them sort of in a bunker and in a hideaway just in case anything happens.
They have that person who is the designated survivor.
So I was wondering who your prediction would be that person would be tonight.
Who is it?
I don't know.
They haven't announced it yet.
They generally announced it at the very beginning or at some point or right before, but they have not announced that person yet, so I didn't know if you had a prediction.
You know, they did a television cable series on that with Sutherland, the son, where the designated survivor was like a completely apolitical choice of the president near the end of his term, and everybody...
Died and he had to take over and he never wanted to be president.
And it was fascinating.
It was fascinating.
Of course, it was a shame because they blew up the entire Capitol.
Yeah, that would be terrifying because we're here in the Capitol.
But I just think it's a fascinating concept that they take one person, you know, to I guess this person would have the responsibility of running the entire country without Congress, without, you know, the cabinet, without anybody really.
The first two or three episodes of that designated survivor.
is worth is worth watching because it does it does present you you know before September 11 I probably would have said that something like that can never happen now I stopped saying something like that can never happen because everything has happened and look at and the stuff that he survived oh thank god thank god can you imagine if we were in a second term of our being delivered over to communism oh my god Can't imagine.
I wouldn't be here in Washington, D.C., number one, because I felt for the past four years like it was occupied territory every time that I was here, covering a court hearing, which was kangaroo court hearings, as you know.
But now there's positivity here in Washington.
There's people here that are patriotic, thank God.
And everything has changed really a lot, obviously, since last year when the Biden administration was around.
So it's a different Washington, D.C., and I myself cannot imagine.
You know, they'll be watching this maybe even more intensely all over the world.
I just came back from Italy and Eastern Europe, and they were already talking about this speech.
What's he going to say?
They were asking me, what do you think he's going to say?
He's got a lot more support in Europe than the press lets on.
The people in the streets came up to me, and they wanted me to give messages to President Trump.
The Italians and the Serbians.
Amazing.
Yeah, no, right.
You're absolutely right.
He has fans all around the world, really.
I think this is probably the most popular president in history, not just here in the United States, but around the world.
I have done a lot of problems, and I get the same from reception.
Everybody wants to know about him.
They want to talk about President Trump no matter what country you're in, so it's fascinating.
Well, thank you very, very much, Kara.
You're doing a great job.
We'd love to have the insight, information, and the presentation, and we'll be looking forward to the speech.
God bless you.
God bless you, Mr. Mayor.
Thank you, Kelly.
Kara played a very big role.
In the president's election, remember when the president went up to the Bronx and he got a tremendous reception?
You know who Idara was?
It was her idea.
She was working with Newsmax then, and she did it just on her own.
She decided to do a piece to see how popular is Donald Trump among the Hispanic people.
Remember, I think he might have gotten half of them eventually.
And she went up there, and then she did a piece on Newsmax, and everybody is saying, we love them, we want them.
Now, I know Cara, you know, quite well for quite some time, so I called her up, and I said, Cara, did you orchestrate that piece?
You know, you just put the people on.
She said, no, I didn't.
I was actually trying to find somebody that would be contrary.
I couldn't in the time that I had.
So she said, can you get in touch with him?
He should come up here to the Bronx.
I mean, this was just an absolutely natural reception.
And of course, a few weeks later, when he had some time from the trial, he went up there and she interviewed him.
And I think that was, of course, it wasn't the only thing, but that reception kept being talked about all throughout the campaign.
He got a wonderful reception in the Bronx, which is the most...
Well, it used to be the most democratic borough.
Manhattan may be now.
Because he actually did better in the Bronx.
And in Queens.
And in Brooklyn.
And of course, Staten Island, he won.
The only place, in fact, one of the few places in the country, he didn't do better this time than last time.
Now, he didn't win every place, but every place he did better.
You know, he did better most in Chicago.
He did better in Boston.
He did better most in New York, except Manhattan.
Manhattan, he did a little worse.
He only carried one election polling place in Manhattan.
And some other places, like in Staten Island, he won.
And he did better than any Republican since Reagan in the other boroughs.
And he won the surrounding suburbs.
But Manhattan?
And that's where they prosecute her.
Think there was some skullduggery there?
Of course there was.
It's a crooked judicial system.
Of course there was skullduggery.
So I want to show you these.
I've been wanting to.
These are rosary beads.
These rosary beads used to belong to St. John Paul II. They were his personal rosary beads.
And they were given to me by Bishop Christopher, who was his aide, also from Poland.
Who took me around the Vatican.
See the beautiful beets?
Look how beautiful they are.
Beautiful rosary beets.
And I, of course, am a tremendous admirer of Pope or Saint John Paul II. Not only for his leading the universal religion of Roman Catholicism so brilliantly.
And so beautifully and so inclusively, no Pope had ever traveled like that.
I met him twice when he came to New York.
He blessed my children.
Both Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II blessed my children.
And, of course, he helped deliver us from communism, along with Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher.
I would say that that triumvirate Played the role, various different roles, but they're the combination that delivered this world, Eastern Europe, from communism.
Look how many people they liberated.
Look how many people they liberated.
Unbelievable.
So, when the bishop gave me this, probably the nicest thing I've gotten from a saint.
You don't get too many things to belong to a saint.
Wow.
So I'm going to be interested in the Democratic response, too, from Elise Slotkin, who maybe she will have made up her mind by now, after 24 hours, on whether men should participate in women's sports or should be allowed to go into ladies' rooms.
Because I think if she can't make her mind up on that, since 70% to 80% of the American people think men shouldn't be allowed to do that, most of them are just going to read her off as just another, you know, you know what, licking Democrat.
I mean, it's a party of cowards.
It's a party made up of a certain number of dedicated Marxist ideologues.
Who are driving it.
Nihilists who just want to destroy everything.
Stupid idiots who just repeat that ideology.
And then a lot of regular people who should be standing up against it.
And who knows?
It might be 50-50 or not even.
But they're cowards.
Complete cowards.
All the time.
It's not as if, you know, how do you vote against a bill that says men should not go into a ladies room if you're an intelligent person and not how do you vote against a bill that says men should not go liberal jackass?
Thank you.
Because they've been turned into automatons.
Yeah, but they don't believe it.
You think this Slotkin lady really believes that?
She was told by Schumer.
If we don't stand together on this, anybody who votes for this thing is not going to get any money.
And that's all they care about.
She's an ambitious deep state operative, so she'll probably go whichever way that wind wants to blow.
Yeah, she has no soul.
She has no soul, nor does she have any love of the country.
Because if you had love of the country, you'd say a country going in the direction of allowing men to destroy women's sports.
And a country going in the direction of allowing perverts to go into ladies' rooms.
Come on.
Now, okay, there may be very legitimate transgender people, but it opens an opportunity and has already been exploited by people who have raped girls.
I mean, all a perverted rapist has to do is pretend he's a girl.
And then if he sees a girl that he wants...
The way the guy went after Lakin Riley and followed her into the forest or whatever it was, the trail.
Because he knew there was an opportunity.
He was actually, and poor Lakin and her family, she was the one pick.
He was, for several days, looking for a girl to rape.
That's what we get from Venezuela.
And when the president says that Maduro is sending us all his criminals, this guy wasn't just a criminal.
This guy was a pervert and a criminal.
He's doing what Castro did.
And we're going to hear tonight how it got stopped by a real president.
And I want you to pay close attention to the speech because it'll give you a sense.
I think a lot of it will give you the sense that a lot of these things that he's doing...
These have multifaceted parts to them.
Like the acquisition of the mineral rights in Ukraine is a brilliant thing.
First of all, we need those minerals to compete with China.
Number two, it gives Zelensky something better than a security guarantee.
It gives him an economic interest of the United States and a crucial one relating to our national security.
So that it becomes easier to convince the American people to protect you.
I mean, we really are a democracy.
You're not.
I mean, I don't think we could declare martial law on America and suspend an election because we're a democracy.
You can do it because you've never really been a democracy.
You've been led by seven crooks and one honest man that almost got killed.
And every election of yours, nobody knows who really won.
And then, all of a sudden, you can become president for, well, I guess if this war goes on, forever.
Is that another reason why you want war without end?
Amen?
I actually think it's the money.
Like Arafat.
How's he going to get billions of dollars flowing in there?
He's not smart enough to do it legitimately.
He was a comedian.
Of course, he made a lot as a comedian because he was employed by a crook.
Massive crook.
The politicians are opportunistic and the voters are automatons.
Well, okay.
But that's too general a statement, isn't it?
Kind of, because it's a multi-tiered problem.
Well, if voters were automatons, the guy up there tonight would be blubbering, blathering, and what we'd be talking about is, what did they shoot him up with to get him up there?
Yeah, I should point out not all of the voters.
Or it would be, or we would listen to a State of the Union speech, which would be what they call word soup, which really is the product of an irrational mind.
They want voters to be in the same way.
Imagine.
Members of Congress and my fellow Americans, I came from a middle class family.
And in that middle class family, we had middle class people who were definitely middle.
They did have a class.
And it was a middle class.
And that's where I came from, which is why I'm running your country.
And could you move that teleprompter a little slower, please?
Thank you.
What was she?
She was a terrible mistake.
That's what she was.
She's one of the biggest political mistakes in American history.
Absolutely.
You know, they talk about what a shrewd politician Pelosi is, but she ended her career doing really one of the dumbest things imaginable.
First of all, I think we have, I think we have, there he is.
That's Rob, who I'm talking to.
You think we tell you where the cameras are?
After all, I used to do...
Really the FBI, so...
I'm an intelligence expert.
Our cameras are all over the place.
We like the hat, though.
Notice that's the...
That's the hat that...
Black with the gold.
I fell in love with it right away when I saw it.
Yeah, you look like a general or something there.
Give me this hat.
Are we in break?

Tired of volatile stocks and tiny dividend yields?
Here's something different.
Imagine collecting steady monthly income.
This is Rudy Giuliani back again with America's Mayor Live.
And I'm looking over here at the screen watching the Congress, and I seem to think that Justice Sotomayor didn't show up.
No, I didn't.
I did not.
Hi, Mayor.
Mayor Giuliani, if you heard him there in that moment, as he's watching the feed in Congress, saying that perhaps Justice Sonia Sotomayor has not shown up.
That would obviously be in some kind of, well, one would think protest to Donald Trump.
Interesting, if true, that's something that we'll have to look and find out.
Hopefully we can get the mayor to To talk more about it with us, as I was saying, speaking of rule of law, if Justice Sotomayor did not show up, that would...
