♪♪ ♪♪
Good evening.
This is Rudy Giuliani with The Rudy Giuliani Show, and we are awaiting the big boy press conference to figure out, I guess the president's having trouble getting his big boy pants on.
Or this could be regarded as a do-over without Donald Trump around.
Or anybody else.
Just him and a press that fawns over him.
Except, I think they've turned on him.
So this is going to be an interesting press conference.
We'll see how Uh, condescending they are to, to Biden.
It would be the first time I think, except for an isolated person here and there, right?
Uh, that really challenges it.
And I expect they are because their networks want them out.
I mean, the, uh, the times has gone all out to get them out and, uh, CNN pretty much from moment to The debate ended 12 days ago, had King and then everybody else all over him, out, gone.
It was terrible.
They were crying and they were upset.
They weren't crying, but they all expressed their great love for him, but he had to go.
I think they thought at that point it was a foregone conclusion.
It'd be kind of easy to move him aside.
But it turned out to be extremely stubborn.
Not going easily.
We don't know because we don't know the full dimension of his dementia or mental illness, which he obviously has.
And we don't know exactly how much decision making capacity he has left.
So I keep looking over on my left to see if he's out yet.
He's over a half hour late, which is not unusual.
Usually he's been like an hour late or so.
Even when he used to show up with those indentations on his head, which they said was due to sleep apnea, which would make sense, but that also could fit into, although not exclusively indicative of it, of dementia, cognitive loss, loss of brain cells.
This this is supposed to.
I got purpose of this to assure the American people that our president has a remaining brain.
Whereas I think somewhere around two thirds, if not more, the American people have concluded that he hasn't.
And I don't know what the most recent percentages are of his own political party, but it's at least half.
who have decided that he's gotta go.
But he hasn't decided that, nor has his rather ambitious wife, and I don't know how we describe his son, Hunter, indescribable.
They have kind of surrounded him, maybe with a couple of key aides, but they would be the critical ones, and they seem to be urging him not to go, The Democratic establishment that is speaking out, which is a small group, is urging him in very strong language to go.
Well, the Democratic elected officials, in small numbers, are urging him to go.
Some are on his side.
Most, you just assume they want him to go.
They're just afraid.
But they've been afraid forever.
That's their general state.
That's how they've become a party of anti-Semitism.
Because they've allowed for years and years some prominent members of their party to say the most awful, hateful things about Jewish people and Israel and stood by and done nothing about it.
So, in fact, they've now become the party of anti-Semitism.
And you can see it in a reflection of what's happening with the Jewish vote, which we'll take a look at a little later.
because we may be here who knows how long. If you're doing this to assure the American people
that you're up to it, that you can handle America at a time in which two very dangerous wars are
going on for which you bear the responsibility for any clear-thinking person, you think you'd
Keep me on time.
Thank you.
I mean, that's the least you could do.
They don't seem to know how to organize anything.
This is above and beyond his mental incapacity.
This is indicative of a Democrat administration, whether it's Clinton or Obama, not being able to roll out Obamacare, except like a complete incompetent jackass.
I mean, or in New York, every time Adams tries to do something, it's completely all screwed up.
And now he did his pilot program on giving money to illegal aliens, and now he's decided it was a great success and he's expanding it.
At the same time, he thinks he has too many illegal aliens in the city.
But of course, he invited them there and offered them more than other people.
I mean, they don't know how to manage.
And then they have ideas that are unrealistic.
And they seem to lack at least a modern, not even most progressive Democrat, anybody but someone you would describe if there's such a thing anymore as a conservative Democrat.
They seem to not know what they're doing.
Because what they want to do is silly and unrealistic.
You know, like money comes down from trees, that kind of thing.
The reason they can spend money so much is you can just print it.
They don't have to make any decisions about it.
Just spend it, spend it.
Let's give all those kids, let's pay their loans back no matter what the Supreme Court did.
The funny thing is we found out last night that these kids aren't going to vote for him.
So, the campaign polling right now is extremely confusing.
Now, The New York Times, early this morning, put out a piece which they claim has three sources.
It sounds legit that the campaign, I think this is the campaign, is specifically polling Harris against Trump to see if she can do better than Biden.
Now, this is a hell of a time to do it.
You got him out there doing his Hail Mary big boy press conference.
And you're already looking for the guy you're going to trade him for, right?
Going to test her out.
So she did give a speech.
It was rather short in North Carolina today.
It was really short.
I got to listen to the whole thing.
I don't have time to listen to the whole one.
A bunch of people, I guess, were thrown out, but that, you know, okay, that would happen on either side.
Although it was a really measly crowd.
When you compare the Trump crowds or, gee, even the crowds I would get, it looked like a very small crowd and therefore should have been carefully vetted, I would imagine, but it wasn't.
She gave a good speech.
Do you want to hear a little of it while we're waiting for the president?
We don't know what's going on.
Shall we just listen to just a little bit of her?
I'm not able, I can't hear it.
That's it.
We only had a second or two.
Okay.
Well, we just had a second or two.
Well, we don't have anything of her speaking and that's what she looks like.
I assure you she was, uh, uh, not great.
Not bad.
Didn't do anything wrong.
And it wasn't a speech in fairness that would lend to greatness.
It was just a rally speech, uh, in front of a group of small group of partisans.
And she handled it without, I mean, even Biden, Just a little while ago, you know, who did he confuse Putin for?
Who was it, Ted?
Putin for?
He referred to Zelensky as President Putin.
He referred to Zelensky as President Putin.
At NATO.
At NATO.
Can you get any more?
I mean, look, if that was it, you would say, okay, but I mean, come on.
I mean, the really the really the amazing thing is he hasn't fallen yet.
It's not over.
But he gave his speeches, unlike hers.
Now, except for that mistake, I don't think he made it.
Although the other day he read something off the teleprompter that he decided to ignore, you know, like.
Apply metal, or something, or put metal.
But, you know, like when he said, pause.
Now, again, it's the accumulation of all of these things that solidifies the idea that he's in some other world.
Or the turning around, constantly confused about which way to go.
And it looks like if somebody doesn't, you know, get a hold of him, he's going to Go off into the sunset.
But the real problem at this meeting is the affect.
So let's compare it to Harris had a normal affect, like a normal human being.
He looks like there's something wrong with him.
And that could be symptom of a lot of things, nothing good.
So we'll see.
We'll see what his affect tonight is if he ever comes out.
This is I mean, this is.
You might as well not do it.
You're going to get to be this late.
Well, the other the other the other night we mentioned the hostages.
I'm going to go through them one more time.
I'm going to mention even the ones whose bodies are there that have to be returned.
There's Eden Alexander, who's from Tenafy, New Jersey.
There's Itay Chen, who was killed on the 7th, and whose body they are cruelly holding.
There's Segri Dekulchen, who was taken at Kibbutz near Oz.
He had actually beforehand acted as quite a hero.
He made sure that his pregnant wife, Avital, and their two children were safe.
And he did battle with them.
She gave birth to the couple's third daughter in December.
And he was seen alive in Gaza.
He is the grandson of Holocaust survivors.
Hirsch Goldberg-Pollin, who I think you've probably heard the most about, largely because Biden mistakenly said he was in the audience in Washington, when in fact he's a hostage in Gaza.
He originally comes from Berkeley, California.
He moved there when he was seven to Israel, and he was a champion of Arab and Jewish coexistence.
And then we have Gadi Haggai, who also is dead.
He was 73.
He's a retired chef, jazz musician, father of four and grandfather of seven and known as a pacifist.
And at one point he was the first flautist in the IDF orchestra.
His body is also in their possession.
He was a resident of Kibbutz near Oz, which you know is one that they destroyed.
He was shot by terrorists on a motorcycle and his body is being held by the terrorist group Hamas that any number of young Americans protest in favor of.
We now find some of it being supported by the Reign of Terror, the Iranian government.
So we have these Americans walking around Protesting for Hamas being supported by the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world.
And when we get them for committing crimes, serious crimes, that others would go to jail for.
In January, seven people, you know, almost were put away forever, you know, without bail and stuff like that.
They all go out.
People like Bragg, who's prosecuting Trump for nothing, lets them all go.
Judith Weinstein Haggai was born in New York.
She was raised in Toronto.
She went to Israel originally way back in 76.
She taught Israeli and Palestinian students and her body also remains in Gaza.
She was attending to her husband We just described and called the paramedics.
But the terrorists returned after they had killed her husband and made sure they killed her and grabbed the body.
This is what we're dealing with.
This is what we're, you know, everybody's all upset that Israel hit a place that happened.
They claim, they claim, the terrorists claim is a school.
But of course, it's a school that was hiding a major A Hamas terrorist.
Nobody cared about these people being civilians.
Omar Nutra is only 22.
He was born in Manhattan.
Just a month after September 11, 2020.
2001.
It does say here he's a Knicks fan.
2001. It does say here he's a Knicks fan. He knew the stats of every player. He was
serving in the Israeli Defense Force, Tank Brigade, and he was ambushed and
taken as a hostage.
Keith Segal, 64, who originally was from North Carolina, he moved to Israel 40 years ago, and he lived at Kibbutz Kfar Ava, and he was a therapist, an occupational therapist.
He has four children of his own and five grandchildren.
He and his wife were taken hostage.
They were driven to Gaza in their car with a neighbor and her two children.
Aviva was released on November 26 as part of a hostage deal.
Keith remains there, his ribs broken, which happened on the 7th when he was captured by the terrorist murderers.
So that's the group that Biden pays no attention to.
Let's see if he mentions them tonight.
Nor has he done anything real to get them back when he has massive ability to apply pressure to Qatar, for example, that has a great deal of influence over Hamas.
It would seem to me that an American president would have stopped at nothing to make sure that he got them back.
The Israelis have actually engaged in a rescue mission In which they got four of their people back alive.
He's done nothing of any kind that means anything because otherwise they'd have been released.
There's no question that he has enough suasion over Qatar.
Qatar is a lifeline for Hamas.
Otherwise, they're major billionaires that will all be captured.
And, uh, could have wanted them released.
All could have had to do is get the Americans out of there, dammit.
But Joe doesn't want to use that leverage.
Maybe he could do it in exchange for all the money that he gives to Iran.
Who knows how many billions he's given.
He's made them into a wealthy country again.
Trump had them sucking wind.
Which could lead to the overthrow of their government.
Not impossible.
Everybody who, you know, says it's impossible to overthrow dictatorships is eventually proven wrong.
And then they say, oh, gee, we always knew they were going to be over.
And I'm telling you, Iran is closer to that than you think.
A lot closer than most of the others that we're dealing with.
And Trump, by the time he was leaving, had that place Carrying signs around to get rid of the Ayatollah.
I'm in pain of death.
I've seen him with my own eyes by being able to look into Iran.
Like that.
I've done it more than a few times.
And by the end of 2000, even into rather 2020, but even about starting in about 2019,
even earlier, their protests were getting extremely close to the kind of protest that
happened before you had the overthrow of a government.
When people are brave enough to call for kill Hitler, kill Stalin, kill Mao, or kill the Ayatollah, or get rid of the Ayatollah, you're getting close.
So we're going to take a short break while we wait for the big boy to come out for his big boy press conference.
Here we are pretty much at the beginning of the process here at this pristine,
I call it a laboratory.
It's not like a factory, it's like a hospital.
This is the beginning of the process for roasting.
Deep green, very good quality.
Most people don't use this quality.
We deal with small farmers because they like to know who we're dealing with.
They give us the highest quality, all organic, non-GMO.
You should know, all Arabica beans.
No Robusto.
All Arabica.

Welcome back.
We're still waiting.
Now, they just described it as two hours late.
I think he's an hour late.
I think it was 6.30 was the time for the press conference.
Now, at least they should give some explanation for the delay.
I mean, is it possible that the conference is taking longer?
I mean, I doubt it.
But I just find it extraordinary that they can't even get it on time.
I mean, you start off already with questions about, you can't even run a press conference, you want to run a country.
I mean, one of the countries is in this terrible shape.
Well, this has really turned into the major arbiter here is not Obama.
It's not who you might think it would be like Pelosi.
I mean, she's sort of been cute.
Is this an episode or a condition?
Let you decide.
Obama's been hiding somewhere probably.
Maybe he's down in Biden's basement.
Who knows?
Everyone thinks he really supports Kamala.
But the most extraordinary thing is Clooney has been like the number one protagonist.
And a lot of problems with what he did.
Because his observations of the president go back to, I think it was June 15th, at that Hollywood multi-million dollar ridiculous event.
From there, he has told us in his op-ed piece, he found the president to be basically non-compos menace.
Except they never bothered to tell us.
That was 12 days before the train wreck.
At the press conference.
Plenty of time.
I would probably raise money for him in that period of time.
He certainly didn't say anything about how the president was a danger to the United States of America or the national security of the United States, because that doesn't even come up at all.
Nor did he seem particularly worried that he couldn't beat Trump.
Now, I see someone coming out there putting out what he's supposed...
His directions that tell him, you know, turn right, turn left, don't touch your nose, that sort of stuff.
So maybe he's getting ready.
So I'm not going to go start showing you anything, but I was going to show you that piece that I probably just have to just recall for you, which is where he walked off.
First, he froze for about four minutes or so with that Facial stare that several doctors now say is indicative of Parkinson's disease.
I think you see it now, right?
That's strange.
And then, like, Obama wants to get him out of there.
And it looks like Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, where, you know, he's taking the puppet off the stage.
Now, this to me, look, look at him walking.
Now, this is a sick man.
And I don't know if Obama did this on, I don't know that he needed, I don't know what that hand on the back did.
It seemed to me like he was actually walking very, very rigid, but he wasn't like going in the other direction like he often does.
So I thought right from the very beginning that Obama was screwing him, you know, make it lead to what it turned into, which is any number of critics, But particularly here, the right wing critics said that this was an indication of his senility.
And then they were attacked bitterly by all the people that are after him now.
Although I think he's going to be out there now.
Is he?
Is he out there now?
Shall we put him on?
I see him, I see him.
Are we able to switch to him?
on the free and democratic nations.
Is there a way to switch to him?
To a compact of collective defense.
Standing there is, they knew we'd all be safer.
Attack on one would be treated as an attack on all.
And it's worked because a would be aggressor knows they attack one of us, they'll be attacked by all of us.
Sending that message is the best way to deter aggression and prevent wars in the first place.
For those who thought NATO's time had passed, they got a rude awakening when Putin invaded Ukraine.
Some of the oldest and deepest fears in Europe roared back to life, because once again, a murderous madman was on the march.
But this time, no one cowered in appeasement.
especially the United States.
Yeah.
We collected intelligence that Russia was planning to invade Ukraine months before the invasion.
I directed the intelligence community to be a significant amount of intelligence
to be declassified so I could start building an international coalition to oppose the invasion.
Then in February, some of you remember, I warned the world that the invasion was imminent.
I rallied a coalition of 50 nations from Europe to Asia to help Ukraine defend itself.
Many foreign policy experts thought, as Putin amassed Russian forces just 100 miles north of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, but Putin thought it was the mother home of Russia.
The capital would fall in less than a week.
But the Ukrainian people, backed by a coalition to help build, stopped them.
Today, Kiev still stands.
And NATO stands stronger than it has ever been.
During the week at the summit, some United States made it a point in their statements to thank the United States and to thank me personally for all that NATO has achieved.
NATO is not only stronger, NATO is bigger because we led the charge to bring in Finland and Sweden into the alliance.
And it makes a gigantic difference.
Excuse me.
Meanwhile, My predecessor has made it clear he has no commitment to NATO.
He's made it clear that he would feel no obligation to honor Article 5.
He's already told Putin, and I quote, do whatever the hell you want.
In fact, the day after Putin invaded Ukraine, here's what he said.
It was genius.
It was wonderful.
Somebody forgot that, but that's exactly what he said.
It was wonderful.
But I made it clear, a strong NATO is essential to American security.
And I believe the obligation of Article 5 is sacred.
And I remind all Americans, Article 5 is invoked only once in NATO's long history.
And that was to defend America after 9-11.
I made it clear that I will not bow down to Putin.
I will not walk away from Ukraine.
I will keep NATO strong.
That's exactly what we did.
And exactly what we'll continue to do.
Now, the future of American policy is up to the American people.
This is much more than a political question.
It's more than that.
It's a national security issue.
Don't redo this to the usual testament that people talk about issues of being a political campaign.
It's far too important.
It's about the world we live in for decades to come.
Every American must ask herself or himself, is the world safer with NATO?
Are you safer?
Is your family safer?
I believe the American people know the answer to all those questions is yes.
And I believe the American people understand that America is stronger, stronger because of our alliances.
I believe the American consensus from Truman to Reagan to me still holds today.
America cannot retreat from the world.
We must leave the world.
We are an indispensable nation, as Madeleine Albright wrote.
Now let me turn to three other key issues.
Just this morning, We had a great economic report showing inflation is down.
Overall prices fell last month.
Core inflation is the lowest it's been in three years.
Prices are falling for cars, appliances, and airfares.
Grocery prices have fallen since the start of the year.
We're going to keep working to take down corporate greed to bring those prices down further.
Meanwhile, Trump's calling for a 10% tariff on everything Americans buy, including food from overseas, vegetables, and other necessities.
And economists tell us that that would cost the average American working family another $2,500 a year.
This isn't a NATO speech.
This is a political speech, isn't it?
Of $2,500 a year.
What does this have to do with NATO inflation?
What does this have to do with NATO's relations?
The purpose is to secure the border. The southern border is working.
After Trump killed the bipartisan effort to secure the border,
which the Republicans and Democrats had worked on, Because he thought it would benefit me and make him a loser, Republicans walked away.
So I took executive action last month.
As a consequence, working with Mexico, border encounters have gone down over 50%.
The current level is lower today than when Trump left office.
No, it's not.
Not even close.
The United States has been working to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, to bring the hostages home, to create a path for peace and stability in the Middle East.
Six weeks ago, I laid out a detailed plan in writing.
It was endorsed by the UN Security Council, the G7.
That framework is now agreed on by both Israel and Hamas.
So I sent my team to the region to hammer out the details.
These are difficult, complex issues.
There's still gaps to close.
We're making progress.
The trend is positive.
And I'm determined to get this deal done and bring an end to this war, which should end now.
Let me conclude where I began.
We're the United States of America.
We are the indispensable nation.
Our leadership matters.
Our partnerships matter.
This moment matters.
We must rise to meet it.
With that, I'll take your questions.
I've been given a list of people to call on here.
Reuters, Jeff Mason.
List of people to call on.
He's admitting.
He's got the list.
Mr. President, your political future has hung over the NATO summit a little bit this week.
Speaker Pelosi made a point of suggesting that your decision on whether to stay in the race was still open.
George Clooney and a handful of lawmakers have called on you to step aside.
Reuters is reporting tonight that UAW leadership is concerned about your ability to win.
UAW just endorsed me, but go ahead.
Thank you.
My question for you is, how are you incorporating these developments into your decision to stay?
And separately, what concerns do you have about Vice President Harris's ability to beat Donald Trump if she were at the top of the ticket?
Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President until I think she's not qualified to be President.
So let's start there.
Yeah.
The fact is that the consideration is that I think I'm the most qualified person to run for President.
He said that.
He said I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump.
And I will beat him again.
Secondly, the idea, I served in the Senate a long time.
It's like fumbling the ball on the first play of the game.
Senators and congressmen running for office worry about the ticket is not unusual.
And I might add, there are at least five presidents running or incumbent presidents who had lower numbers than I have now, later in the campaign.
So there's a long way to go in this campaign.
And so I'm just going to keep moving.
Keep moving.
And because, look, I got work to finish.
We've made so much progress.
Think about it.
Think about where we are economically for the rest of the world.
Name me a world leader who wouldn't want to trade places with our economy.
We've created over 800,000 manufacturing jobs, 1.5 million jobs.
I mean, so things are moving.
We got more to go.
Working class people still need help.
Corporate greed is still large.
He couldn't finish the number.
Their prices, corporate profits have doubled since the pandemic.
They're coming down.
And so I'm optimistic about where things are going.
Danny Camp, AFP.
Yeah, who?
Who?
Thanks.
Thank you, Mr. President.
I wanted to ask you about your mixed up Presidents Zelensky and Putin earlier today.
And you now have sort of your key allies, including the British Prime Minister, the President of France, and the German Chancellor having to step in and make excuses for you on that.
Officials here are saying off the record that your decline has become noticeable.
Hasn't this now, frankly, become damaging for America's standing in the world?
Thank you.
Did you see any damage to our standing in my leading this conference?
Have you seen a more successful conference?
What do you think?
And the Putin piece, I was talking about Putin, and I said, and now, at the very end, I said, here, I mean, Putin, I said, no, I'm sorry, Zelensky.
And then I added five other names.
Look, guys, the idea, anybody suggests that we haven't had an incredibly successful conference.
How many times did you hear in that conference?
I know it sounds too self-serving, but other leaders, heads of state, in thanking me, saying the reason we're together is because of Biden, because Biden did the following.
Look, folks, this is a... Well, anyway, I thought it was the most successful conference I've attended in a long time, and find me a world leader who didn't think it was.
Next one.
Sorry, Nancy Cordes, CBS.
Thank you, Mr. President.
You mentioned other instances in history where presidents have faced a challenge, but what makes this moment in history so unique is that it is not your enemies who are calling on you to reconsider your decision to stay in the race.
It's your friends, supporters, people who think you've done a great job over the past four years.
Have you spent time thinking about what it would mean for your legacy, which you've worked decades to build, if you stay in the race, That's a ridiculous question.
If you want to take a break now, you can.
have, and you lose to someone who you yourself have argued is unfit to return to the Oval
Office.
Well, look, let's get the break in, I guess.

Well, we're back.
Guess what?
He just announced that he's going to do rent control should he become president.
So let's go back and watch him now that he's running with President Trump.
But how, for example, when I went... Remember when we talked about getting the computer chip industry back in the United States?
Used to be 40% of the industry.
We invented the chip.
40% of the industry is in the United States.
And former presidents decided that the best way to do it is to find the cheapest labor in the world, send the product over there... Probably the greatest economic disaster in the history of New York City.
And so, what did I do?
I was told not to go over to Europe, I mean to Asia, including Europe, but Asia.
And I remember going to South Korea.
Where?
What are they talking about?
To invest $20 billion in the United States to build computers.
Isn't this that same question, Ted?
And I asked why when they finally decided to do it.
It's that same question.
And the answer was because you have the safest economy in the world.
He won't stop.
And you have the best workers in the world.
So the whole idea here is None of you thought that would happen.
None of you thought that would happen.
But it's happening.
It's happening.
It's going to grow economies.
And by the way, red states and blue states Matter of fact, there's as much in red states as in blue states.
I've made no distinction.
So my generic point is that the idea that we can't continue to build and grow the economy is an endless run-on answer.
You know, a run-on sentence.
From my standpoint, when the middle class does well, that's when the whole economy grows.
The poor have a shot, the wealthy do well.
What he's doing right now is a complete symptom of dementia.
of dementia.
Secondly, her ability to handle almost any issue on the board.
This was a hell of a prosecutor.
She was a first-rate person, and in the Senate, she was really good.
I wouldn't have picked her unless I thought she was qualified to be president, from the very beginning.
I made no bones about that.
She is qualified to be president.
That's why I picked her.
Felicia Schwartz, Financial Times.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Presidency is the most straining job in the world, and it's 24-7.
How can you say you'll be up for that next year, in two years, in four years, given the limits you've acknowledged that you have today?
The limits I've acknowledged I have?
There's been reporting that you've acknowledged that you need to go to bed earlier and you're eating around 8.
That's not true.
Look, what I said was, instead of my every day starting at 7 and going to bed at midnight, it'd be smarter for me to pace myself a little more.
And I said, for example, instead of starting a fundraiser at 9 o'clock, start at 8 o'clock.
People get to go home by 10 o'clock.
That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not talking about it.
And if you look at my schedule since I've, since I made that stupid mistake in the campaign, in the debate, I mean, my schedule has been more.
I've done, where's Trump been?
Riding around in his golf cart, filling out his scorecard before he hits the ball.
I mean, look, he's done virtually nothing.
And I have, I don't know how many, don't hold me to it, roughly 20 major events.
Some of them with thousands of people showing up.
And so, I just think it's better, I always have an inclination, whether I was playing sports or doing politics, just to keep going, not stop.
I just gotta pace myself a little more.
Pace myself.
In the next debate, I'm not going to be traveling in the 15 time zones a week before.
Anyway, that's what it was about.
That's what it was about.
And by the way, even with that, I love my staff.
But they add things.
Add things all the time.
At the very end.
I'm catching hell from my wife.
Anyway, um, I'm sorry, uh, Zeke Miller, Associated Press.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Two questions for you.
First, on the NATO summit, President Zelensky, in your meeting with him, he pressed you to lift your limitations on the Ukrainian use of American weapons, saying that, in his public remarks afterwards, saying that Ukraine cannot win the war unless those limitations are lifted.
Are you reconsidering your position on that?
And then secondly, following up on Felicia's question there, leaders of your own party have said First thing about Zelensky asking for the ability to strike deep into Russia.
They're worried about the next bad night and the bad night after that.
How can you reassure the American people that you are up to the task and that there won't
be more bad nights at a debate stage or somewhere else?
First thing about Zelensky asking for the ability to strike deep into Russia.
We've allowed Zelensky to use American weapons in the near term, in the near abroad, into
Russia.
Thank you.
Whether or not he has, he should be attacked.
For example, should Zelensky, he's not.
If he had the capacity to strike Moscow, strike the Kremlin, would that make sense?
It wouldn't.
The question is, what's the best use of the weaponry he has, the weaponry we're getting to him?
I've gotten a more long-range capacity, as well as defensive capacity.
And so our military's work, I'm following the advice of my Commander-in-Chief, the Chief of Staff of the military.
Your Commander-in-Chief?
As well as the Secretary of Defense and our intelligence people.
And we're making a day-to-day basis on what they should and shouldn't, how far they should go in.
That's a logical thing to do.
I thought that was him!
The second question related to Bad nights, sir.
How can you reassure the American people that you won't have more bad nights, whether they be on a debate stage or as a matter of foreign policy?
Well, I'll tell you what.
The best way to assure them is the way I assure myself.
And that is, am I getting the job done?
Am I getting the job done?
Are you getting?
Well, you're not.
Can you name somebody who's gotten more major pieces of legislation passed in three and a half years?
I created 2,000 jobs just last week.
So if I slow down, I can't get the job done.
Yeah, Lyndon Johnson, and he ruined our country.
That's a sign that I shouldn't be doing it.
But there's no indication of that yet.
None.
Yeah, you got an endless war in Ukraine, an endless war in Israel.
You're not getting the job done.
Can you read it?
Merrick.
You having trouble reading it?
Pulaski Radio.
Merrick?
Thank you, Mr. President.
How are you?
I'm well.
The elections in the U.S.
have consequences around the world.
You have pretty high standing in Europe.
I just asked President Macron about you, and he said we are happy to have him as the President of the United States.
But there is a concern.
Many people in Poland and across Europe are worried that the former president May win the election.
And there's a lot of concern that Donald Trump may weaken NATO, stop supporting Ukraine.
Oh, is this a shut-up question?
To give up territories to Russia.
They're correct.
And you yourself was warning just two minutes ago about it.
So my question is, Do you think that Europe will be left on its own if Donald Trump wins the election?
And what's your advice to European leaders to prepare for possible US disengagement?
Well look, I think, how can I say this without sounding too self-serious, I'm not handing European allies come up to me and say, Joe, don't run.
What I hear them say is, you've got to win.
We can take a break, though.
It'd be a disaster.
And go back here.
It'd be a disaster.
I mean, I think he said in one of his rallies.
Might as well break it so that I can make a few points.
First of all, Right at the very beginning, it's like, you know, fumbling on the first play of the game.
I believe he said that his vice president is Donald Trump.
Which, I mean, maybe you just should have ended the whole thing and said, what are we doing here?
This is completely ridiculous.
The question now, you tell me this wasn't a setup and I'll eat my hat.
I believe he had the questions in advance because the second reporter, Used his confusion of Zelensky and Putin to point out his senility.
Now, any sentient reporter, you know, using his head, would have used his most recent ridiculous statement that Trump was his vice president.
But probably it was an agreed-upon, set-up question, so he was stuck with it.
He was stuck with Zelensky-Putin, which, you know, is a little bit more understandable because he actually corrected that.
He doesn't realize He doesn't realize that he called Trump his vice president because he's senile.
He has dementia.
And then the run-on answer would, I wish I had a doctor here, like the ones I talked to.
That is exactly one of the major symptoms of serious dementia.
You just go on and on and on and it doesn't relate to the, and you don't remember exactly what you said before.
So I don't see how this helps him except buries him even further.
And look, as a Republican, would I like to run against him?
Yes.
I saw Kamala Harris today, who I think we can beat, but it wasn't this.
This is absurd, but I'm an American first.
This man shouldn't be president of the United States.
Shouldn't be there a day longer.
It's ridiculous.
I mean, he actually came out here and said that Donald Trump was his vice president.
Shouldn't that end it?
How much more of this are we going to go through?
The man has dementia.
He's had it for a long time.
It can get worse, and I don't even know why we have to watch the rest of it.
Well, pray for the people of America.
Pray for the people of Israel, who he's double-crossing terribly.
The question about holding Ukraine back is absolutely correct.
He's got him in an endless war without end, and he was given a war at peace, and he's given us a war at world.
A terrible, terrible wars that could lead to world wars.
