Antifa Ruthlessly Attacks Families, Children With FLASH BOMBS At Christian Prayer Event | Ep. 162

Hello, this is Rudy Giuliani, and I'm back with another episode of Rudy's Common Sense.
Today, we're going to talk about something I've wanted to talk about for some time, and an incident really is the proximate cause of our getting into this.
But this is something that really is a matter of grave concern, and it fits exactly in what we're trying to accomplish, which is to alert Americans to how our rights are being taken away from us.
And we're standing by and watching like sheep going to the slaughter.
And at first, we must locate, identify, and call out these attacks.
How exactly we deal with them, how we overcome them, well, that'll reveal itself, and it is.
But most importantly, they cannot be ignored.
And this one is being ignored, and it's a major one.
It's a major one that should have been on the front pages of every newspaper if we're going to defeat this terrible, terrible infringement of our rights.
And it's our right of freedom of religion.
It's our first right.
It's the first right guaranteed to us in the Bill of Rights.
The right to free exercise of religion.
It's one of the main reasons the United States is here.
Not like the liars and the communists and the socialists who are trying to destroy our nation who say, we were born in slavery.
No.
We were born in the plight of people escaping religious and political persecution.
People who couldn't practice their religion without being interfered with, tortured and killed.
People who could not have a right of speech, could not exercise their right to explain to the government what they wanted.
And that's why those are the first two rights.
That's why it's the First Amendment.
The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion.
It also protects against the establishment of religion, so not one religion will dominate.
But that all religions are free to be exercised without interference by government.
And it guarantees the right of free speech.
Probably those are the two rights under most assault over the last two years by President Biden and the Democrat Party.
Well, just this last weekend, there was a horrible incident in, of course, the place that's become not even America anymore.
The incident took place in Portland, Oregon, I guess appropriate because Portland, Oregon last year was a disaster.
Something you would never have thought could have happened in America.
The city had its own independent I don't know what they were, terrorists, Antifa people, overgrown hippies that threw legitimate people out, took over their businesses, they were part mafia, there was violence, there was death, and the government stepped back and did nothing.
A useless Democrat mayor, a useless Democrat governor, Might as well not even have a mayor or a governor under situations like that.
A police department that became completely immobilized and did very little, and was told to do very little.
Well, the other day, on a weekend, a group of very, very devout Christians organized, for some time it had been organized, a rally, a prayer rally, a Christian prayer event.
And the Christian prayer event was going to take place in Portland, right near the Willamette River, and a beautiful location for it.
It started peacefully, and there is a lot of footage of this taken by Andy Ngo.
I think you might remember Andy Ngo as the person who was beaten almost to death by Antifa.
wrote a very famous book about it.
Andy and others got substantial footage of this.
So it's easy to see what happened.
What is that?
She has to get...
I just want another one, boy!
Get back, get back.
Calm down.
No, no.
You're against the system.
What?
Calm down.
We're good, we're good, we're good, we're good.
All cops are bastards in the name of Jesus, amen.
You're already messing with us.
Hands up, don't persecute.
These people were praying and they were singing and they were under the guidance of a pastor from Canada who brought them down to do this, and all of a sudden Antifa set upon them.
Kind of like the Roman troops used to do to the early Christians, huh?
And they were in their black gear, made to look frightening, If you ever want to know how Antifa dresses up, go get the now probably hidden video or text, video text done by
John Sullivan, the Antifa member who is indicted in both Utah and Washington for inciting a riot, and the one who took the videotape of the completely not yet justified shooting of Ashley Babbitt.
Somehow he happened to be at the scene and took the whole thing and was paid for it by two of our disreputable networks.
He has done a video showing you how Antifa should dress up in order to evade detection, maximum fear and fright, and then how they should do harm to people.
Well, they showed up that way.
Looking like, I mean, to very religious people, they probably look like devils, and they're designed to look like devils, and in some ways, symbolically, they may be.
So they began throwing concrete, they began using flash bombs, they began using mace.
The lead pastor is a pastor that I don't know, but is quite famous, I guess, in Canada.
His name is Artur Pawlowski.
And Artur Pawlowski became famous or noteworthy in Canada because he resisted the intrusions on freedom of religion during the pandemic, for which I respect him.
In fact, you may have heard me say many times in talking about this that my first reaction to the pandemic was when the churches were shut down for Holy Week, for Good Friday, and for Easter Sunday, and the synagogues were closed down for the High Holy Days, or rather for Passover, I said, my goodness, they're going along with this too easily.
They're going along with this way too easily.
So this attack took place.
They threw a flash bomb into a group of kids who were anywhere from four months old to ten years old.
As I said, they maced Pastor Pawlowski.
They did great violence, actually, to this Christian group.
And then clearly, the focus was on Christianity, where they yelled out to them, again, reminding one of the Roman persecutions, where's your God now?
Remember, they said that to Jesus.
You know, if you're the son of God, where's your God now?
Why isn't he saving you?
This persecution that's going on with these Antifa people brings two things to mind.
It does bring to mind the Roman persecutions of the first three centuries of Christianity, where Christians were taunted, tortured, sacrificed, killed.
Some of the great martyrs of the church emerged during that period of time for 300 years from Nero to Diocletian.
And they withstood it.
And then in 313, the Edict of Nance which was announced by the Emperor Constantine, made the Roman Empire tolerant.
They accepted all religions.
And then, later on in the century, Christianity, Catholicism, was the official religion of the Roman Empire.
But it was 300 years of torture, and the Romans, watching the example of these Christians, loving each other, that converted them.
It wasn't armies.
It wasn't attacks.
It wasn't force.
It was the power of love and prayer that converted the entire Roman Empire.
If these Christians can love each other so much, if they can die for what they believe in, Then this must be the true God.
That was the conclusion of ultimately the Roman leadership, the Roman emperor, and ultimately the Roman people.
Now, Lars Larsen, who is one of the most noteworthy radio hosts for many, many years, particularly in in Washington and in Oregon and on the West Coast, and happens to be right there in the scene of all of this going on.
He covered this very extensively and talked to many of the people directly involved.
So because the major media is trying to sell this as a, well, this was just really an attack and a fight between the Proud Boys and Antifa.
Because they cover for Antifa so much, I thought we'd get Lars on to tell us what he knows directly about what happened.
So it's an honor to have Lars Larsson on this podcast.
I've been on his show a number of times.
Now it's time to take a short break.
I accomplished a lot in 2020 exposing the truth, establishing the relationship with you, working tirelessly for America.
And I came to know the work and value of the people at American Hartford Gold.
You see, you buy gold, not only for what you know, but you buy gold for what you don't know.
American Hartford Gold is the company you can trust when it comes to buying gold.
They sell physical gold and silver delivered right to your door or inside of your IRA.
In the precious metals industry, they are the highest rated firm in our country with an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau and thousands of satisfied clients.
Give them a call and tell them Rudy sent you.
And be sure to ask them what I bought.
And if you call them right now, they will give you up to $1,500 of free silver on your first order.
Folks, these are uncertain times.
The one thing you can count on to protect what you have worked so hard for is physical gold and silver.
So don't wait.
Call them now.
Call 833-GOLD-777.
That's 833-GOLD-777.
Or text RUDY to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777.
833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Thank you for returning.
Well, we're very, very honored to have with us Lars Larson, who is one of the great voices on radio.
I've been honored to be on his show several times, so I'm very honored to have him on my podcast, particularly since He's got to be an expert on this.
He's right there, right in the middle of what happened last weekend.
And I thought we'd ask somebody who is with direct knowledge of the people who were involved, what happened?
Because it's trying—it's being ignored by the major media.
And it's being painted as some kind of a fight between two extremist groups.
But then when I see all the video from Andy Ngo and others, it looks like, almost looks like something in the first century of Christianity, with the Roman soldiers attacking the Christians, these people all in black.
They look like devils.
And they're throwing things at these people, throwing their equipment in the river.
Mr. Mayor, I have to say I'm honored to be on your show and for everything you've done for New York City, for America, for Donald Trump when he was president, and for everything afterward.
But I'll tell you where I got the word.
I wasn't at the event, but I got a call from a very close friend of mine.
He's a former state representative, Jeff Krupp, and he was present at the event.
And that's why I immediately sent a note to our friend Andy.
No, I've known Andy since he was a local journalist.
And I knew that Andy would bring the kind of attention to this that it deserves.
Here's what happened.
A group of people, a group of Christians, decided that they would hold a worship service.
They had their own preacher.
He's from the state capitol in Oregon.
It wasn't a gigantic event, but they brought some loudspeakers and some microphones so that they could be heard.
And they showed up at a battleship memorial right on the Willamette River, which was north-south through the city of Portland.
And it's only a few blocks away from all that ugliness you saw for the last year and a half when Antifa and BLM would do battle.
over trying to burn down the police headquarters in Portland, trying to destroy the federal courthouse,
trying to kill cops, and in the end, murdering at least one citizen. An Antifa member did that.
So when this group was told by the police, you know, we really think you'd be better if you moved
from the Battleship Oregon Monument down Waterfront Park, a little ways away, to another location.
And they were cooperative.
They said, sure, we'll move there.
When they got to that location, somehow Antifa had learned that they were moving there and Antifa showed up and they began assaulting these people.
They threw explosives.
They've been described as flashbangs.
They may have been M-80s.
The difference is immaterial.
You're throwing explosives at a group of women, children, a baby.
And the Christians in this group said, we're just worship.
Please don't do this.
There are women and children here.
And Tifa continued their attack.
They also, one of them grabbed a microphone, and I ran the sound by yesterday.
He said, all cops are bastards, ACAB, which is, of course, the marching slogan of Antifa.
In Jesus' name, amen.
Totally sacrilegious.
At another point, one of these Antifa types said, where's your God now?
And they were clearly staging an attack on a group they knew was a group of Christians.
Now, Mr. Mayor, you know that in American cities, if leaflets are left at a Muslim mosque
or at a Jewish synagogue, the police will say we're launching
a full investigation of leaflets.
This was a physical attack on Christians and it was being done clearly aimed at their Christianity
and their ability to gather in a public park, to worship publicly.
Now, later on, after the whole dustup had happened and after the physical attacks,
there were a few problems.
Excuse me, one moment.
Was there any police response to this?
What happened was the Christian group called 911 and said, we're under attack.
There were police cars in the distance.
They stayed in the distance.
There's a major thruway that goes right by the park and it's only a hundred yards away or so.
No police actually showed up to intercede between these groups.
And the police bureau itself put out a statement that night saying we've had no interaction with either of the groups.
How long did the incident take place?
It was relatively short.
I would say that it was less than 20 minutes.
But what they did was they physically attacked some of these people who suffered injuries.
Nothing, fortunately, to put somebody in the hospital.
They destroyed equipment.
They took the group's speakers and their microphones,
and they did damage to all this personal property.
As I said, they threw an explosive, and thank God that didn't hurt anybody.
But having explosives thrown at you, being physically attacked for simply giving voice
to your faith is just not America.
This would be a good time to take a pause.
How much equity do you have in your home?
50,000?
100,000?
More?
Cybercrime experts are alerting homeowners that the more equity you have, the greater the chance foreign and domestic criminals will come after you.
Title theft is one of the fastest growing crimes.
Home Title Lock, America's leader in home title protection, is alerting homeowners they could already be a victim and not know it.
Here's how it goes down.
First, cyber thieves search hundreds of public databases for high-equity homes.
Next, they pull your home's title that's online.
They forge your signature stating you sold your home, and they take out loans using your equity.
You're not covered by insurance, your bank, or common identity theft programs.
Protect your most valuable asset.
Register your address now to see if you're already a victim and receive a complete title history of your home.

That's hometitlelock.com.
Thank you for coming back.
I'll ask you this because you were there, of course, all last year.
It almost seems like Portland has left America.
Mr. Mayor, Portland left America a long time ago.
We have a mayor, Ted Wheeler.
He's Harvard and Stanford educated.
He's from a longtime timber family.
He's very wealthy.
He's a multimillionaire and he has done nothing.
He is spineless.
I call him feckless Ted because For about five or six years, he has allowed Antifa and BLM to do what they want.
You say, hold on Lars, five or six years, George Floyd was last May.
I said, no, but Ted Wheeler, when Antifa surrounded the ICE, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement headquarters, and literally laid siege to it, like something out of Game of Thrones, Ted Wheeler said, I'm not going to do anything because I agree with Antifa.
I think our immigration laws should change.
So he's allowed these groups, during his tenure as mayor to do whatever they want and he's told the police to back down and Mr. Mayor, you used to be a prosecutor.
We're very proud of what you did as a prosecutor.
Multnomah County chose a new prosecutor.
His name is Mike Schmidt.
I call him the social justice warrior DA because he came into office last August right in the middle of a summer of riots and announced publicly I will not be pursuing most of the criminal charges against most of the rioters out of the interest or in the interest of justice.
So almost a thousand criminal charges against rioters were simply—he doesn't dismiss a charge.
It's called decline to prosecute.
He declined to prosecute the charges.
And what do we get?
More of the same.
Was he sponsored by George Soros?
Yes, he was funded by George Soros.
I was wondering if there are a group of about 30 Soros-funded prosecutors that are trying
to undermine, I believe they're trying to destroy this country and just ruin our criminal
justice system so we become socialist.
And Mr. Mayor, I've worked with real prosecutors and former prosecutors to alert the public when these people come up as candidates.
But you know that, was it Kim Foxx in Cook County?
Look at her and the kind of job she isn't doing.
These prosecutors are everywhere.
They're in big counties and small counties.
This is an entire, almost a conspiracy, because Soros funds About 20 or 30 prosecutors—Kim Gardner in St.
Louis, who prosecuted the McCloskeys and framed the prior governor.
She's being, I think, investigated herself now.
But there's one after another—Los Angeles, Philadelphia—crime rates going through the roof.
Soros was their major funder.
He's also the major funder of Black Lives Matter in Antiva.
So he buys the prosecutors that then set them free.
So here, Mr. Mayor, you have a billionaire like Soros, and people have said, well, what's his aim?
I said, it's very clear the only aim can be the destruction of American society.
Because when you have mayors who will tell their police to stand down, as Ted Wheeler did, when you have prosecutors who refuse to prosecute, you have governors who refuse to step in, and the governors of Oregon and Washington have refused to step in.
When Seattle's chop zone was taken over, the governor, he actually told reporters, I don't know anything about this.
A six square block area of a town had been taken over by rioters.
We all remember it, and we remember the pictures of it and how... I remember interviewing people and actually meeting people in New York who lived there and had left, and they described in great detail the horrors of it.
It was like, I don't know, you might have been living in Nazi Germany or Communist Russia or something.
Well, you made a good comparison because while we don't have mass murder yet, and I hold back on the Nazi comparisons because Hitler was a mass murderer, but beyond that, the brown shirts and the activities of the brown shirts in terrorizing a population, that's what we've got right now.
I'm talking about the Nazis in the early stages when they were the brown shirts and the communists in the early stages of Lenin and Trotsky.
I mean, that's how they took over.
And they killed a few people, not the millions they killed later, but that's the way it starts.
And the other thing that strikes me is, this is right on the communist playbook, on the Marx playbook.
Take out religion.
The main thing you got to take out first, according to Marx and Engels, religion, family.
Because religion and family will argue against the state being superior.
Religion will argue in favor of your rights come from God, so the state fits.
But there are greater rights and obligations than just the state.
And the family will tell you basically the same thing.
So the state won't be paramount.
And it seems to me that Antifa is clearly a communist group.
Black Lives Matter is run by communists.
And they're all sponsored by George Soros.
Oh, there's one other group that George Soros is the major sponsor of.
It's called the Democrat Party.
Well, I don't know how you live there, Lars.
Can you explain to me how you live there?
People ask me that about New York now.
And, you know, it is getting a little tough in New York, so I should be the last one to ask, but how did you take all of last year?
Mr. Mayor, my wife is a saint because she hates the politics of this place.
She loves the place.
We love a lot of the people here.
But the Pacific Northwest, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an extreme far-left liberal.
And the policies show it.
And the damage is now starting to come home to these people.
Because, Mr. Mayor, you know this as a prosecutor better than I do.
And that is, when crime rises, it's not the elites, it's not the affluent that get hurt first.
It is the poor and it's people of color.
So the very people who say we're advocating for people of color are doing damage to them.
So is there a large number of people in Seattle, in those areas, in Seattle and in Portland, Yes.
In fact, Mr. Mayor, in downtown Portland, I've talked to real estate folks who say real estate is going crazy, it's going up everywhere, except the one big housing area, and it's the stoniest neighborhood in Portland, it's Pearl.
And he said, these real estate people have told me that's the only place in the Northwest
where prices have actually gone down for multimillion dollar condos.
I know multimillion dollar condos are no big deal in New York City.
But you have a million dollar- Well, they're gonna start to be,
because they're going down, big time.
Yeah, and the prices, they're not just flattening out, they're going down.
And let me tell you something, in the Pearl, one of the people who used to live in the Pearl
is Ted Wheeler, as I told you.
He got his money the old-fashioned way.
He inherited it from his granddad, who actually earned it.
But he had a multimillion dollar condo in the Pearl.
Antifa, months ago, set up in his lobby.
They began to trash the lobby of the building, and Ted Wheeler moved out, I think,
before the rest of the people in the condominium said, get out of our building.
You've drawn this bad element to us.
So he even comes under attack from the very people he's befriended.
Time to take a short break.

Now, there's no question, I assume, that from everything you've seen of Antifa, it's clearly a terrorist group.
I mean, there's not even a question about it.
I would say.
And that's international in scope.
There are Antifa groups in Europe, not just in the United States.
Why the coddling of them by the Biden administration?
Remember Biden during the debate said they were a thought?
They were a thought?
They're a thought that kills people and destroys businesses and tries to wipe out religion.
Mr. Mayor, I think you and I had the same reaction to that crazy dog and pony show, the January 6th committee hearing, because it was just kabuki theater.
But one of the things that stuck out to me was when the police officer from the Capitol Police read the federal definition of terrorism.
And if you boil it down, you're a lawyer, I'm not.
It says if you either hurt people or do violence or threaten to do violence in order to achieve a political goal.
That is exactly what the mob in the streets has been doing in America now for a solid year and a half, threatening violence to achieve a political goal.
And unfortunately, it seems to be working.
has immunity to do it in, not just in Portland, but in many, many parts of the country.
They virtually have immunity in New York.
They have immunity in D.C.
I mean, they played a role in the January 6th, whatever you want to call it.
I call it the insurrection without a shot being fired, except one.
And no one will tell us about that.
No one will tell us why Ashley Babbitt, an unarmed woman, was killed.
And the person taking the film is a member of Antifa, John Sullivan, who was encouraging Antifa people to come to disrupt that protest.
But the press never reports that either.
That there is no explanation for why that as yet unnamed police lieutenant shot Ashley Babbitt.
But I've told my audience, I always back the cops unless they break the law.
But when a police officer shoots somebody, there has to be one thing present.
An imminent threat of harm or death.
And that was not present when Ashley Babbitt was shot.
Well, Lars, thank you.
I've taken enough of your time.
We have to do one on how do we get through this and how do we point to the solution, because this could be the worst time, and I see if you agree with me, in my lifetime, this is the worst time my country has gone through.
I've never seen this level of censorship.
I've never seen this level of just complete disregard for due process, double standard.
I mean, it's not America anymore, and we're going to lose it if we don't in the right way, peaceful way, fight back.
Mr. Mayor, it'd be my pleasure to do that. And by the way, you've identified something
important. And now with this attack this past weekend in Portland, open attacks on Christians
in a Christian country that was founded by Christians based on Christian principles and
And while I don't want a theocracy, we all know that Christianity and a belief in God, that our rights came from God.
As you said, as John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural speech back in 1961, he said, we have to fight against the notion that our rights come from the generosity of government and not from the hand of God.
The fact is, he was right, you're right, and the Constitution is right, and we cannot have a country where Christians are attacked for merely practicing their faith.
Well, Lars, you have my admiration.
You've been a voice that's protected free speech for a long, long time, and I know it has to be hard in your community to do that, and you do it nationally, but you do it from the home of the enemy.
God bless you.
You know, Mr. Mayor, that's what you got to do.
You got to go to where the people need you most.
And I feel like I'm needed here in the Northwest.
You sure do.
You're doing a great job.
So I will continue to be a thorn in the side of liberals.
I'm so honored to have you on the show.
Thank you, Loris.
Thank you, Mr. Mayor.
Take care of yourself.
And you as well.
So I think this incident in Portland is much bigger than just the incident.
And I also think it's disgraceful that it hasn't been covered by the national news.
It's part of their censorship And it's part of their not really informing you of how your rights are being jeopardized so you can understand it and know what to do about it, which is part of the role of a free press.
This is not a free press any longer.
This is a government news agency for Biden and the Democrat socialists.
This is tantamount to you know, Pravda during the Soviet Union or the news agency
in China. They're basically going to print what helps the Democrat socialists and going to leave
out anything that helps the other side or balances it. This was a major indication that things with
regard to religious freedom in our country have become very, very serious. Now, there are
other things that suggest that, and we're going to keep on this theme.
We've been on it a few times in talking about the pandemic and how the pandemic very much seriously limited religious freedom, but we haven't talked about it in the detail that it deserves, because it is our first freedom, and from it derives a lot of our other freedoms.
Let me give you just a little context before we conclude, and then rest assured, we'll be involved in this for quite some time on The Alert, on Rudy's Common Sense, on the radio show, and then hopefully on communications on Rudy'sCommonSense.com.
Religious freedom, freedom of religion, the establishment clause, the first phrases in the Bill of Rights really were not an issue in the United States at the beginning and for many, many years.
For the first 110 years of our republic, The United States Supreme Court decided only three questions concerning religious liberty, and there were only 14 cases brought to the Supreme Court, which means we had a consensus of opinion.
On religious freedom, and we didn't disagree about it.
Because although the court has been good in defending religious freedom, the fact that we fight about it so much shows that our elected officials, a lot of our elected officials, primarily Democrat, and a lot of our people are in tremendous disagreement over it because we need the court to come in to decide it.
So in the first hundred years of our republic, there were several cases, a few.
And finally, the first Establishment Clause case wasn't heard until 110 years after the amendment was passed.
And that was in 1940.
All this litigation about religious rights and all this disagreement exploded.
And since then, we've had 70, 80 cases?
School prayer, legislative prayer, release time education, religious land use, distribution of religious literature, conscientious objection, wearing religious head coverings in military service, the Pledge of Allegiance, religious beard length, prayer in schools, It was actually more than 75 cases since 1940, and 11 altogether, and only three that actually got decided before that, which means we are in serious disagreement over the right in the United States.
One side sees it as a very full plenary right, and the other side sees it as a more or less secondary right.
That was sealed during the pandemic.
This is where the pandemic did tremendous damage.
The Democrat governors made it clear that they consider the right of free exercise of religion a secondary right.
Because in terms of essential function, the freedom of religion was put down at the bottom of the barrel.
People were not allowed to return to church before they were allowed to return to business When they were allowed to return to church, they had to be in lesser numbers than in businesses, lesser numbers than in restaurants, lesser numbers than in strip joints and bars.
It gives you a sense that we had lost the consensus.
That the right of freedom of religion is an essential right of Americans, not one that is not of the same priority as conducting a business, going to a strip club.
Let's look at a couple of examples.
In the state of Washington, Governor Inslee imposed a ban on religious gatherings of any size during the pandemic, even prohibiting two people from meeting together to pray and read scripture.
And he criminalized all religious gatherings outside of family members.
criminalized. Insulae finally backed down and ended up allowing these small religious services,
In Kentucky, another Democrat, Governor Beshear, wanted to issue an executive order Nobody else!
against religious services and they had to be strictly based on CDC compliance or there'd be
criminal penalties. That applied to drive-ins and outdoor religious services. Governor Pritzker in
Chicago, who is probably one of the biggest authoritarians of all, demanded that places
of worship keep their doors closed until a vaccine is developed. Nobody else took places of worship.
So, and that doesn't mention what Governor Cuomo did, reversed by the court in New York.
Mark.
Thank you.
There was a clear indication that the right of freedom of religion was now a secondary right,
not as important as, as I said, the right of assembly, the ability to go to bars,
the ability to go to restaurants, the ability to go to strip joints,
the ability to go to pornographic places.
This is also not just happening in the United States, and this will devote a separate podcast
to, but the violence against Christians around the globe is at a level that in some places,
there are people that consider it genocide.
But.
The latest statistics on attacks against Christians shows that there were 13 Christians killed every day in the world because of their religion.
This has been done by the non-governmental organization Open Doors, and it's been audited.
It's been out for quite some time, and it's considered quite accurate.
And this is as of 2021.
This is the 2021 World Watch List annual report.
Produced by Open Doors, a non-profit organization that chronicles persecution against Christians.
Every day, this is their review, 13 Christians worldwide are killed because of their faith.
12 churches are attacked and usually destroyed.
At least 12 Christians are unjustly arrested or imprisoned.
Another five are abducted.
One in eight Christians worldwide is facing political persecution.
And the COVID-19 situation made the situation, according to Open Doors, much, much worse.
So that places like Sub-Saharan Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon, just exploded with anti-Christian violence.
India, entered the top 10 nations for anti-Christian violence.
China moved up dramatically in anti-Christian violence, maybe increased their violence more than any other country where churches were closed and demolished.
And Nigeria is at the point where there are human rights groups that consider Nigeria is either engaged in or on the verge of a genocide against Christians.
With the government playing a role where they are not particularly helpful.
Here's an article from August of 2020 saying Nigeria is becoming the world's biggest killing ground of Christians.
And then, of equal concern, when you've got China, the world's largest country, you've got Sub-Saharan Africa, which is one of the fastest growing Christian populations in the world, being attacked, killed, imprisoned in increasing and very alarming numbers.
You've got Nigeria possibly being the worst place for Christians in the world and on the verge of genocide.
At the same time, India has increased attacks on Christians so that for the first time in the last several years, it's among the top 10 countries for killing and persecuting Christians.
A lot of this driven by the Hindu nationalism of the government.
And And a general sense among Hindus that Christians can't be trusted, which is, you know, which was the whole basis to a large extent of the attempt to eliminate Jews and at times the attempt to eliminate Muslims.
Brutal attacks in Indonesia target Christian families last year.
It's debatable if Christians are the most persecuted religion in the world.
At times they are, at times Muslims are.
But the situation for the largest religion in the world, and the religion that's predicted to be the largest religion even 40 years from now, is dire.
And it is being ignored because it's taken for granted.
It's not being given the attention it deserves.
It's not being given the attention that even like the genocide of the Uyghurs by the Chinese is being given.
And I'm not saying it shouldn't be given attention.
It should.
But that's one group.
This is an entire religion worldwide.
The attack on Christians is worldwide.
It's at different levels in different parts of the world.
In the United States, it's at the level we've talked about, including that attack we saw in Portland and all those governors.
This is a very, very difficult time for Christians all throughout the world.
It's time that they realized it and they came together as one.
We don't fight back.
We don't fight back, but we stand as witness and we don't back down.
And what I'm proud of the people in Portland, Oregon is they went back the next day and they said, we don't back down.
We never back down.
Let me read to you from, it's the first, this is the first letter of Peter to Christian communities located in the five provinces of Asia minor, which happened to be areas where violent attacks on Christians over the last three years have increased dramatically.
This was written, you know, 2000 years ago.
Be sober and vigilant.
Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resistant, steadfast in faith, knowing that your fellow believers throughout the world undergo the same sufferings.
The God of all grace who called you to this eternal glory through Christ Jesus.
will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you after you have suffered a little.
To him be dominion forever. Amen. Isn't it amazing that these words written almost 2,000 years ago
about the persecution by the Romans that ended in the Christians incorporating the Romans,
but it took 300 years of suffering.
Let's hope it doesn't take it here.
But isn't it amazing that these words could be written today with Christians being attacked on every continent?
Christians being persecuted on every continent.
And what it has to do is strengthen your Christianity.
It has to strengthen your belief in God.
It has to strengthen the witness you give to others of why this religion is a religion of peace and of love.
And a religion that only seeks doing good for people, as Jesus Christ taught us.
So please keep aware of what's going on.
The only way we are going to protect our rights, the only way we're going to make sure they aren't taken away from us by the freight train to socialism and communism that is the present Democrat administration, and much of our establishment, is by being vigilant.
Knowing what's happening to us.
Getting beyond the censorship.
We're one medium for doing that.
There are others, and there are good ones, like Lars that we had on.
But pay attention to that.
And we will be back very shortly with more information.
So you keep listening.
RudisCommonSense.com.
You listen to Rudi's Alerts.
And also to the ABC radio show that I have on wabcradio.com.
It's on from three to four every day.
And then on Sundays with Dr. Maria Ryan, I do Uncovering the Truth between 10 and 11.
I think it'd be helpful for you to keep up with us because you'll learn the things that you need to know to protect your rights.
That's what I try to dedicate ourselves to.
And thank you very, very much.
And let's all end this by saying a prayer to God to deliver us from this and make America as a result of this an even stronger country.
