FIXED POLLS Exposed | Rudy Giuliani with Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie| Ep. 75

This is Rudy Giuliani with Rudy's Common Sense.
And today we have two people who were the principal architects, among the principal architects, of that unbelievable historic victory in 2016 for Donald Trump, and probably the two that have the best ideas on how these last couple of weeks can be managed so that he repeats that surprise of 2016.
Corey Lewandowski and Dave Bossie.
Who worked extensively on the 2016 campaign.
They haven't stopped working on the Trump campaign since then, and now they're senior advisors to the campaign.
So Corey, Dave, maybe Corey, where are we right now?
Our supporters are very worried about these big polls that they hear, 17 points, 15 points.
Then there are others that are one or two.
Can you give us a realistic appraisal of where we are and what we got to do?
You bet, man.
Thanks for having us.
Look, as you know, the most important thing is not these national polls, but it's the state by state polls.
And where we are today is we are in a better spot with just under four weeks to go in this election than we were four years ago.
You know, specifically, we're on the offense in some states that we didn't win four years ago.
New Hampshire, Donald Trump lost it by just under 2,700 votes.
We're going to win in New Hampshire this year.
Minnesota, Donald Trump lost it by about a point and a half or just under 45,000 votes.
That's a pickup opportunity for us as well, as is the state of Nevada.
So, you know, the national polls where they say Joe Biden has a double digit lead, that takes into account places like California and New York.
And we know how to win the game.
Winning the game is getting to 270 electoral votes.
You don't have to win the popular vote.
That's not what the rules of the game are.
So our goal is very clear.
Our path is crystal clear.
Donald Trump is going to carry all the states he won last time.
And he's going to pick up a few more.
And he's going to have a bigger electoral margin of victory in 2020 than he had in 2016.
Dave, there was nobody better at picking in those last two weeks.
The right states that he should be in.
Was that luck or skill?
My skill is luck.
Complete skill.
It's better to be lucky than good sometimes, Mayor.
Tell me where you think it stands and what the states are.
Absolutely.
Let me just start by saying the president is who drove both the messaging and the intensity of our 2016 campaign.
And he's going to need to do the same thing in the final several weeks of this campaign.
When he comes out of this, you know, recovering from COVID-19, the China virus, he is going to have to hit the road and hit it pretty hard.
We have a lot of work to do.
But Mayor, you and I and Corey and a few others, remember the dark days Of exactly this week, four years ago.
We were in the worst place of the campaign, of the general election campaign.
We were down 12, 14, 16 points in poll after poll.
You, you Mayor, were the only one who went out on the Sunday shows and did all five Sunday shows the day of the second debate.
Uh, which is right around now, uh, four years ago.
Um, we were in a tough spot, but this president, uh, this, this then candidate came out guns a blazing and he laid it all out there.
So we need to do what Corey's talking about.
We're going to win all those Republican states that normally we win.
The Oklahoma's and Texas is the world, and we're going to win Florida and Georgia and North Carolina and Arizona.
Those are the spine of this election cycle.
Just this week, the campaign pulled down ads in Iowa and Ohio.
That tells us That we are in really good shape there because the president's not campaigning there and the polls are telling us we are fine there.
We're going to take those important resources and expend them elsewhere.
We have to do, in 2016 we won Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
And just barely lost Minnesota.
This year, if we win that spine of our cycle like I was just explaining, we only have to win one of those four, not three of the four as we did.
And Minnesota is this year on the map.
The left is burning down Minneapolis.
They're driving voters towards Donald Trump with his law and order message.
But then there's Nevada and New Hampshire, both of which we just barely lost in 2016.
2700 votes we lost in New Hampshire and about 27,000 votes we lost to Hillary Clinton in Nevada.
Both of those states are in the mix.
We are polling very well there.
We're hanging tight there.
And the demographics of those states Which the polling does not reflect have changed.
And I think that we are really capable of pulling off victories there.
So what Corey said is true.
We're going to win.
We're going to win the Electoral College because that's the way the rules are written.
We have to get to 270.
I personally don't care if we get to 305, if we get to 280.
270 is what I care about.
So we're going to win and this president's going to get reelected.
So tell me, Corey, if you had to pick those states that Dave and you just mentioned, what are the ones that are the toughest, the closest for him to take?
Well, Mayor, you know, the state of Pennsylvania is always a battleground state.
It was considered the great white whale in Republican Party politics.
And no, I don't believe any Republican had won it since Ronald Reagan's reelect in 84, which, as you know, was a landslide.
He won 49 states.
Everybody has tried it and no one could do it except Donald Trump.
And we know that that's going to be a battleground.
It's a state that has a Democrat governor.
It's got a one Democrat Senator, one Republican Senator.
You know, it's a state though that Donald Trump has delivered for over the last four years.
You look at the jobs that he's brought back, the manufacturing that's come back to Pennsylvania.
Protecting the coal miners, the steel workers, you know, Joe Biden claims he's from Pennsylvania.
It's his home.
You know, mayor, I looked it up.
The statute of limitations to call a place your home expires after 66 years of not living there.
So it just ran out on sleepy Joe, right?
The guy hasn't lived in Pennsylvania in 66 years.
You can't keep saying you're from there.
You can't call it your home.
Look, so I'm right.
So the people of Pennsylvania know that.
And so I think our battleground.
Ground zero.
Of course, Florida is the toss-up of toss-up states, but we've got a great operation down there.
We've got Republicans in most of the statewide offices.
So we feel very good about Florida.
Our battleground is going to be Texas.
I'm sorry, our battleground is going to be Pennsylvania for sure.
And it's a state that Donald Trump is going to win as he did four years ago.
Well, you know, I think Pennsylvania, people don't realize is a very, very big pro-gun state.
The first Monday in December is a state holiday to go hunting.
And it's a pro-life state.
I mean, the Democratic senator is the only pro-life Democrat that's been allowed to live.
So, I mean, those themes work for him.
Plus, Joe is the major architect of destroying the coal and the steel industry.
And I think if we emphasize those three and just stick with that, we take Pennsylvania again.
Now, Dave, how does he deal with He may not be able to do these gigantic rallies that he did.
I mean, not necessarily because he'll be sick, but because of all the COVID sensitivities and people have to be six feet apart or whatever.
How do you do the same rallies that we had in the end of 2016, which I agree with you were critical to his wit?
It brought an intensity and an energy to the campaign.
As Hillary was doing less, the president was doing more, then candidate Trump was doing more.
We have to have that same hope and opportunity reflected in this election cycle, using these rallies.
We have to just do them outside.
Look, it's going to be a challenge, but doing these hangar rallies, these airport hangar rallies, where we can maybe get some people undercover
in an open air hangar.
But we're gonna need to do them outdoors.
And I think that people will come.
I know they'll come.
You see, you just saw what happened recently with the president at Walter Reed.
People drove from across the country, mayor.
I was out there.
I saw- You were there, tell us what it was like.
Who had come from, driven from Michigan and Louisiana and North Carolina and Massachusetts.
It was an incredible thing to witness.
People just came to show their love to this president.
And so if we show up in Arizona and in Nevada, and if we show up in that Rust Belt, in the Pennsylvania's, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, people are going to come.
We're going to have different challenges to be able to make them safe.
For the president and his team, but also for the people who come.
We don't want to get anybody sick, but we're going to be able to do that.
But really, it's about the message.
The rallies are just an opportunity to deliver his message to a lot of people, and it really comes down to his message.
So it's about telling the American people And delineating.
Mayor, I don't have to tell you, this election is the most consequential of our lifetime.
It is what Reagan said, bold colors, not pale pastels.
This is a very stark election about big issues.
And so it's about wanting higher taxes or lower taxes, more job-killing regulations or less regulation.
It's about open borders And free health care for illegals or it's about border security.
It's about anarchy in the streets and defunding the police versus law and order.
And I think that the president's message is exactly the same as a majority of Americans on these issues.
And the president has to go out and talk about these issues and he has to get ahead of Uh, the COVID response, and he has to talk to the American people, in my opinion, as somebody who is now a COVID survivor.
Who has gone through it and understands how tough this disease is and how it affects people and how it makes them nervous, especially, you know, those that are 65 plus that are in a higher mortality rate just from their age.
And so I think that if he's able to show that empathy to show people that I went through it, it was a tough battle, but I won.
You can do the same and how medicine has adjusted.
You know, six months ago, when this Chinese virus hit us, we didn't know anything about it.
We didn't have any therapeutics.
Today, we have the doctors and nurses and first responders know what to look for.
They know how to, they know how to treat you very, very quickly and get on top of the disease.
And we have seen the science say, the sooner you treat it, the better it is.
And that's what the President needs to to tell the American people that now we have these
therapeutics and a vaccine is around the corner.
That's how we're going to get by this disease is because the president put forth the greatest
public-private partnership ever since World War II to create this vaccine. And that's when we're,
that's why we're going to see one in record time. And I think that's his message. That's
his closing message for the last 30 days. And now we'll take a short break.
I couldn't believe we were evicted from our home that we didn't even sell.
Those are the words of a homeowner, Deborah, when she learned she was the victim of home title fraud.
It's a devastating crime that can cost you your home, and title fraud is not covered by insurance or common identity theft services.
The only folks to trust, that I know of, to protect your home's title is Home Title Lock.
CyberThings have discovered the titles to our homes are kept online.
They forge your name on your deed, stating you sold your home, and they refile as the new owner.
In Debra's case, she didn't even know she was a victim until the eviction notice arrived in her mail.
Home Title Lock protects you and your home by putting a virtual barrier around your home's title.
The instant They detect tampering, they mobilize to shut it down. Go
online to Hometownlocked.com and register your address to see if you're already a victim and
don't know it. Then use code Rudy, that's me, and sign up for 30 free days of protection. That's

Welcome back and let's continue our interview.
Corey, the reality is that probably after this week, going into next week, and then we'll have
the debate, probably after that, if it all goes the way it's supposed to go, he would be able to
travel again. How do you feel about that? I'm not sure I'm going to be able to travel again.
I don't think that'll be the problem.
The problem will be the criticism, if we hold them the way we were holding them, with people next to each other.
So they're going to have to be orchestrated, I guess, in a way that we ward off some of the criticism, but he still gets the opportunity to go out there.
Can you see that happening?
Being able to do it that way?
You know, I sure hope so, Mayor.
But there's also something called personal responsibility, and people have to be responsible for themselves.
And this president has encouraged mask wearing.
At every campaign rally, we hand out masks.
We hand out hand sanitizer.
But look, 37 states right now have mask mandates.
Some of those are Republican states.
Some of them are Democrat states.
It's not up to the campaign to dictate how people live their lives.
And look, we lead by example, but the president has said, wear a mask, practice social distancing, use hand sanitizer, do all the things that are necessary.
But if you're in a high risk category, don't come to a rally.
If you're possible that you don't feel well and you might have contracted the virus, don't come to the rally.
You're not doing us any favors.
Take care of yourself.
Take care of your loved ones.
Don't spread this disease.
But at the end of the day, Mayor, we have to get our country back open.
You know, Donald Trump will be judged on his leadership at the toughest of times.
And that's where we are right now.
And the greatest leaders, when you look back at them, come through adversity in a way that nobody could have imagined.
Donald Trump contracting this Chinese virus and coming out of it on the other side stronger and tougher and leading our country saying we have to get back to work.
We can't let this dominate us is exactly what the American people need to hear right now.
So I think we're going to have a chance to do rallies after the next presidential debate.
But we have to be careful.
But you know what, Mayor?
He's the leader of the free world.
People want to come see him.
They want to stand with him.
They want to stand next to him and tell him that we are ready to fight with him for the soul of our country, because that's what we're fighting for.
Now, how do you deal, Dave, with the fact that Biden appears.
Biden gives a talk last night, the night before, and they completely skip all the mumbles and the stumbles.
I mean, the last two talks that I heard him give, the second half of it was virtually incomprehensible.
We can't get that out.
But doesn't that argue in favor of the president going a little bit easier in the debate and just let him talk?
Absolutely.
Look, when, you know, when, when, when a, uh, in, in, in sports, when the other team, when your opponent is letting you do something, say, thank you, say thank you and continue to do it.
Cause they're going to lose and they, and they just don't understand it.
We, we, we have to, we look, the president in 2016, in the first debate, everybody said, Uh, you know, oh, it's a draw or maybe, maybe then candidate Trump didn't win and Hillary got the better of him.
But we saw Republican leaders run for the hills.
We saw Paul Ryan, then Speaker of the House, you know, basically tell his membership.
You're on your own.
There's, you know, uh, the sky is falling.
We're going to lose seats.
So don't.
Feel like you have to stick with this president and I gotta tell you, you know, this president got in Hillary's head in the first debate and strategically and tactically I think this president Understands what he's doing with Joe Biden, and I think he just like he did in the second debate with Hillary Clinton He changed his style, and I think that he'll change his style coming into the second debate again And I think that this time Joe Biden is not going to get away with With the lies, but the president Corrected him a lot in the first debate, and I think he'll do that in the second debate, but I think he's I hope that
That he'll have the opportunity to let him speak and that Joe Biden will show the American people exactly who he is.
Look, just this week we saw Joe Biden in a town hall with Lester Holt and he couldn't hardly speak, but he's standing right next to Lester Holt on stage, not wearing a mask.
And at the same time, the president returns from Walter Reed to the White House and he's by himself outdoors.
And the mainstream media condemns him for taking his mask off and there's nobody around him, literally around him at all.
So this is a double standard that President Trump has had to deal with for four years.
The mainstream media is part and parcel now a super PAC for the Democrat Party.
They hate this president more than they love the country.
They're willing to do and say anything to destroy him and his family.
and any of his supporters, and they're willing to do and say anything to defeat him. And we just
have to continue to push forward to get his message out to make the American people understand that
this president's a fighter and he fought COVID-19 and Joe Biden and he defeats both at the same time.
And Chris Wallace.
Let's just talk about the moderator for the second debate first.
Oh, please, would you explain who this is?
Steve Scully, who is a perfectly nice guy.
Corey and I have done events with him over the years.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Very nice fellow, okay?
But how is it that the Presidential Debate Commission, which monkeyed with President Trump's Microphone, remember, at Hofstra at the first debate four years ago.
And is now trying to change the rules after their one-sided debate against Joe Biden didn't work out.
And they're going to try to change the rules.
And the moderator they picked to, you know, enforce the rules is somebody who used to work for Joe Biden.
And by the way, Ted Kennedy.
So how is that possible that the media The pool of talented members of the media is so small that they had to pick somebody who was a Biden supporter.
I find this to be completely outrageous, and I like Steve, but it begs credulity.
You have to have somebody who... Can you imagine what the left would be doing if the debate moderator had worked for Donald Trump in the White House?
Let's just say, Oh, I don't know.
Mercedes Schlapp is going to moderate the debate.
How about Cory?
Cory would be good.
Cory, you can moderate the last debate.
You never worked in the White House.
You're not as closely associated.
You'd be perfect.
You'd be fair.

Welcome back, and let's continue the discussion with my two friends, Corey and Dave.
Do we think that Joe Biden is ever going to sit down with, you know, hey, Sean Spicer, who is now a journalist, I guess, in his own mind, he's a journalist, right?
Is Joe Biden going to sit down with him?
Of course not!
And look, was Sean Spicer considered to be part of the presidential debate moderating team?
Of course not!
Hey, by the way, Mayor, these guys are dinosaurs, the Presidential Debate Commission.
They've hated Donald Trump since he got on the stage.
We asked for a fourth debate.
You asked for a fourth debate.
They said no.
And one before the voting.
I mean, it was a perfectly fair and honest request that we have one in early September before the first person casts a ballot.
And I said, look, circumstances have changed since you made up these rules.
It really is unfair.
I mean, the final debate, you know, 40% of them will have voted already.
Of course, you just stumbled into the right answer.
Cory just stumbled into the right answer.
He said the debate commission are dinosaurs.
And they are.
What you just said, Mayor, is exactly right.
These folks are thinking that it's 1980.
They have debates after millions, potentially tens of millions of votes have been cast.
It is one-sided.
And look, when President Trump wins re-election, he should just disband them and start over.
Yeah, we should start over.
And the reality is, no matter how you analyze it, you try to step back and look at it, Chris Wallace, whether he knows it or not, was completely one-sided in that debate.
For example, when he sort of scolded the president for interrupting.
At that point, Biden had been the first one to interrupt.
And they were about even.
I think the president decided, I've got to take this thing over, because if Biden is speaking, I'm getting killed.
If Wallace is speaking, I'm getting killed.
I'm going to have one third of the time here.
And he felt he had to take it over.
I think next time he'll realize he can get his points in.
And just let Joe talk.
Let him talk for five minutes.
By the last two minutes, we'll be with people touching his legs, the hair on his legs, and his fighting Corn Pop.
Remember Corn Pop?
Pool yard gangster.
Yeah, the pool house gangster, Corn Pop, he used to fight.
Yeah, it's amazing.
Hey, Mayor, he's the only guy in modern history on a presidential debate stage who said, whoops, looks like I'm out of time.
The guy couldn't even remember what the hell he was saying, so he called himself out of time, if you remember.
Well, I think we're going to have a heck of a month.
I think I know you two are going to be very involved.
And I count on you because you're two of the top people that got him through.
You're two of the people that didn't walk away after Billy Bush.
Let's put it that way.
And that's who I count the real Trump loyalists.
Who didn't waver.
And that's what he's like.
You know, to be a leader, you got to be a tough guy.
You can't be sitting in a basement and leading the country.
And this man leads from the front, and that's the only way to lead, because if you lead from the back, you're a follower.
So I think this is our chance to really turn this completely.
There aren't two better guys than you guys.
So you're working on another book?
So we just finished another book.
It's the words that Donald Trump has governed by since he became the president.
It's called Trump, America First, How the President Succeeds Against All Odds.
And you know, Mayor, I know this because you know him and I know him and Dave knows him and we know the people around him and we hear what he's like.
And he wakes up and he says, who are we fighting for today?
Let's put America first.
And when you listen to the left, You would think that that is a swear word or a pejorative term.
All he wants to do is take care of our country.
We've elected him the leader of our country, and he's made our allies pay their fair share, finally.
He's put fear in the hearts of our enemies, which they deserve.
But putting America first should not be something that Anybody should be against, but when you listen to the left, they, you know, they called Donald Trump every name in the book.
So our new book is called Trump, America First, The President Succeeds Against All Odds.
And it's really the reason to reelect Donald Trump.
It's a book about all the successes that he's had and why he should serve four more years.
Plus it's got some great stories in there about Dave and I and our battles, either with Congress or fighting John Kelly or whatever it may be.
But hey, it's a fun, easy read.
Oh, you don't fight with anybody, Corey.
You're so placid, so easygoing.
Just one fistfight with John Kelly in the Oval Office.
It didn't last long.
Well, thank you very much, Dave.
Keep at it.
And I thought it was great that you went to the rallies outside of the hospital.
That was terrific.
And you're going all over the country.
And I think this is the time, maybe for the next four or five days, that we got to pick it up for him a little bit.
Absolutely.
Blazing away.
Yeah, Rudy, you're exactly right.
We have to pick up the flag.
We have to pick up the mantle while the president's convalescing and getting stronger.
Those of us like Corey and you, Mayor, we have to pick up the mantle, get it across the country, virtually or in person, and make sure that the banner is flying high and make sure that the American people get the facts and why President Trump should get reelected.
So we thank you for having us.
Well, thank you.
Thanks, man.
Good luck.
I'll be talking to you very soon.
You know that.
Okay.
Thank you.
Keep doing it.
Thank you.
Yep.
Well, that was about as good an insight as you're going to get into the Trump campaign.
There aren't two guys that know the president, the electorate, And what's involved, then, Dave and Corey, they're really, really unbelievably good.
I'd say the one thing we didn't cover that I want to point out to you is the enthusiasm factor that they both know and I know is a hidden weapon for Trump.
So when you hear these polls, whatever they are, the 12.1s or the ones where they're within the margin of error or the ones where Trump has a slight lead, you've got to factor in more for this reason.
The Trump voter in every poll is anywhere from 10% to 20% more enthusiastic than the Biden voters.
The Trump voters are voting for something and against something.
They're voting for a person they love and a person they believe has been maybe one of the best presidents ever, and one that now has taken on heroic status in the way he's been able to deal with and overcome this disease that seems to have paralyzed his opponent.
The Biden voters are not voting for Biden by any means.
There's no enthusiasm for him.
There's hatred for Trump, and hatred only takes you a certain way.
Love and that kind of enthusiasm, combined with fear of the Democrat, lets you march through a storm.
The other, a lot of them resolve themselves in not voting either early or on the day of the election.
That's what's going to happen.
So if you want to be safe, put in about 8 to 10 points for Trump in almost every poll that you get.
A minimum of 6, maximum of 12.
That worked really well in 2016.
It's worked in other campaigns.
And when I look at all the polls, I can see that enthusiasm number is still there.
And it's getting bigger, given what he's just gone through.
So it's going to be the most consequential election, maybe, that we ever participated in.
So pay close attention.
We'll be back, you know, very soon with another episode of Rudy's Common Sense.
And we'll be talking about this campaign, I suspect.
