The Video Biden DOESN’T WANT YOU TO SEE | Rudy Giuliani and Eric Greitens | Ep. 125

Text
Welcome.
I'm Rudy Giuliani and another episode of Rudy's Common Sense.
Today, one that I'm very excited about because we're going to interview and we're going to meet with a man who already has become a great contributor to this country and a true hero.
And he's running for the United States Senate in Missouri or Missouri.
We're going to find out from him what the proper, what the proper pronunciation is.
And that is, of course, Eric Greitens.
Eric, thank you very, very much for joining us today.
Mr. Mayor, honored to be on with you, sir.
It is my pleasure.
Great to be with you.
Well, let me just tell people this very, very impressive background.
I'm really shortening it and making it as quick as possible, but people need to know Just pick out the highlights.
Rhodes Scholar, went into the Navy, became a lieutenant commander with the SEALs.
He won so many awards, it takes up two pages.
So I'll pick out the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon.
He was in action four times deployed.
A true hero, before his career even started.
When he left, he remained very, very faithful to the men and women in arms.
He runs the mission, continues, which looks after veterans in a caring and very, very intelligent way.
He's the 2022 candidate for the United States Senate, Republican ticket from Missouri.
He's been the victim of a frame-up that, you know, he's got to do a movie on it.
I mean, it's unbelievable.
Reminds me very, very much of what happened to President Trump.
And then, a very unusual, complete vindication.
He's one of the few people that was able to prove a negative.
He's totally innocent.
And he was the victim of Kim Gardner, who now is the prosecuting attorney trying to prosecute the McCluskeys in St.
Louis for defending their lives.
So you can get an idea that this Soros-selected prosecutor is a political ideologue and, in a way, a political hitman rather than a real, true prosecutor.
As a governor, he was elected in 2016.
He started in January 2017 to June of 2018.
He had only 17 months.
In 17 months, he accomplished more than I'm having a hard time thinking of a governor I would compare him to.
Certainly a lot more than Governor Cuomo in my state who maybe accomplished none of these things.
Just quickly, major ethics reform.
So he alienated all the politicians immediately.
All the establishment politicians.
Right to work.
All the unions.
He reformed the legal system.
St.
Louis used to be known as the worst judicial hellhole.
He did tort reform.
I know what happens when you do tort reform.
All the trial lawyers, they want to get him out.
Just to summarize it quickly, it had results.
The state moved up, what, eight, 10 notches.
It was one of the top states for doing business.
He started drawing new companies into Missouri that hadn't been coming there in a long, long time.
And they had to take him out.
He was an early victim of the cancel culture with a capital letter, like, let's get this
guy out of office before maybe he really straightens Missouri out.
But he didn't stop like the true Navy SEAL hero he is.
He kept fighting.
He vindicated himself.
And now he's running for the Senate.
You never take it for granted, but he looks like the dominant candidate.
So Eric, if you want, let's start with the border because, you know, it's the most pressing
A group of your soon-to-be colleagues were down there just a couple of days ago.
You described to us how you see this crisis.
I mean, this is a horrible thing.
It breaks your heart to see it because everything is wrong with it.
But maybe give us your take on it.
Yeah, well, Mr. Mayor, you're exactly right.
You put your finger on it.
It is a crisis.
And even if Biden refuses to say the word crisis, it is a crisis.
It is an emergency.
You know, you talk to the men and women who are down there on the front lines, you talk to the Customs and Border Patrol agents, and what they will tell you, and there's video now you can see, we have turned control of the border over to Mexican gangs and cartels.
And they're literally running dozens of people from the same spot over minute after minute.
And it leads to hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of people.
Biden has opened the border.
He has created a crisis.
And let's talk about like the kind of crisis that this is.
It's national security crisis.
Okay.
They're picking up people on the FBI's terrorist watch list who are coming through the Southern border.
Three of them, they just picked up from Yemen.
So our adversaries recognize this.
And I will tell you as a Navy SEAL who did deployments overseas, our adversaries will take advantage of our weaknesses.
The Southern border is a national security weakness.
As you know, Mr. Mayor, you've been out there fighting crime.
You took on the mob.
You brought down crime in New York.
This is also a problem that leads to increased crime across the country as you let criminals and as you let the Mexican gangs and cartels Control the border.
It has implications for drugs.
It has implications for crime across the country.
It's a public health issue.
But most importantly, I think one of the things that we have to do as conservatives is also point out the heartlessness of the left.
Joe Biden and the folks around him on the left, they always want to talk about how they care about people, but they don't.
You know, Mr. Mayor, I worked with unaccompanied children who'd survived ethnic cleansing in Bosnia.
I work with unaccompanied kids who survived genocide in Rwanda.
These are some of the most vulnerable children in the world, and the unaccompanied vulnerable children that are being hurt by Mexican gangs, by drugs, by cartels, because of Joe Biden's self-inflicted crisis.
It is a humanitarian crisis.
So what do you think is the thing that triggered it?
He comes into office.
I think some of it started in anticipation of his taking over, because for a year, year and a half, he and his I mean, they almost sound like radical opponents for the Democrat nomination.
Just kept trying to outdo each other.
You know, we'll let them all in.
And then either it was Sanders or Warren who said, we'll give them all health care.
We'll let them vote.
I mean, they might as well have sent a flyer around the world, you know, come in and we'll take care of you for the rest of your life.
And then he immediately reverses The Trump policies that had the border under about as good a control as it has been in decades.
I mean, it wasn't perfect, but under fairly decent control and moving toward the right direction.
So why did he do it?
In a way, it's so counterproductive and so stupid.
Why did he do it?
Well, Mr. Mayor, I think what's very clear is that you have the most radical leftists who are pushing Joe Biden on all of these issues.
And to your question about how this happened, I think there are a couple of things that were at play.
Look, you already had, I'd say, this kind of blinking yellow light after Biden gave all of these signals to the Mexican drugs to the cartels that we were going to stop
enforcing our own border.
But then what happened was he got into office and he did two things.
One was he immediately stopped the construction of President Trump's border wall.
And when he stopped that, that was a signal that was heard around the world.
Eric, that may be illegal.
Yes, sir.
He may not have had the authority because the appropriation was already in progress.
So we'll have to see.
But I mean, that was a massive signal, obviously.
And the other thing, Mr. Mayor, which you and I have talked about in the past, he completely overstepped his bounds as an executive.
When he put a moratorium and he frees the ability of Customs and Border Patrol agents to actually enforce America's laws.
And I think this is so important.
You know, Joe Biden has come in and the left has come in and they've said that they're going to decide which laws they're going to enforce.
And it's a replay of the lawlessness.
This is part of their strategy.
You saw the lawlessness throughout the whole summer of 2020 when you had Soros funded prosecutors and others.
They wouldn't prosecute looters.
They wouldn't prosecute rioters.
They wouldn't prosecute arsonists.
In Missouri, we had peaceful people engaged in prayer who were assaulted, and the Soros-funded prosecutor wouldn't prosecute them.
What does that lead to?
As you know better than anybody, Mr. Mayor, it leads to a massive rise in violent crime around the country.
The same thing happened at the border.
They go to all of our border patrol agents and our law enforcement, and they say, we're not going to enforce the law anymore.
So you stop the border construction, you engage in lawlessness, and then you send all of these signals telling people to come, and you have the Biden-created border crisis.
This will be a time to take a short break.
I accomplished a lot in 2020 exposing the truth, establishing the relationship with you, working tirelessly for America.
And I came to know the work and value of the people at American Hartford Gold.
You see, you buy gold, not only for what you know, but you buy gold for what you don't know.
American Hartford Gold is the company you can trust when it comes to buying gold.
They sell physical gold and silver delivered right to your door or inside of your IRA.
In the precious metals industry, they are the highest rated firm in our country with an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau and thousands of satisfied clients.
Give them a call and tell them Rudy sent you.
And be sure to ask them what I bought.
And if you call them right now, they will give you up to $1,500 of free silver on your first order.
Folks, these are uncertain times.
The one thing you can count on to protect what you have worked so hard for is physical gold and silver.
So don't wait.
Call them now.
Call 833-GOLD-777.
That's 833-GOLD-777.
Or text RUDY to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777.
833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Again, that's 833-GOLD-777, or text RUDY to 65532.
Welcome back.
So he leaves a vacuum, which I think you've already explained to us.
It's not as if there was nobody there to pick up that vacuum.
The cartels became the gatekeepers.
I mean, essentially, you could conceive of it as they put up toll booths to come in, and you've got to make a deal with them, either money Selling your children into bondage, basically, carrying drugs for them, bringing in people that we don't want to come in, hiding it with them, all kinds of deals.
So the border is controlled right now, but it's controlled by Sinaloa, Gofo del Cartel, the Zetas, the whole group of them.
And we don't seem to have a clue.
I don't mean the Border Patrol.
I think they're ready to revolt.
Biden doesn't seem to have a clue that he's done this.
No, look, I don't, I don't even know.
Look, the whole world is watching what's happening with Joe Biden.
There's a reason why, why Putin said that he wanted to debate Joe Biden.
There's a reason for that.
I mean, he sees what's happening and he wants to bring him out and expose him on the world stage.
And also the whole world is watching.
The Chinese are watching, the Russians are watching, Iran and the Ayatollah, they're all watching what's happening and they're seeing this weakness that's coming from the Joe Biden regime and everyone is taking advantage of it.
It's not just the Mexican drug cartels.
Sure.
Right?
You had Iran just recently firing a missile at an Israeli ship.
That doesn't happen, I'm telling you, when you have a President Trump in office, who took a much harder line against Iran.
And keep in mind, I always like to remind people, President Trump's peace through strength, policy overseas, it worked!
For the first time in a generation, we actually got peace.
We had the Abraham Accords, and with his team, with Jared Kushner, with Avi Berkowitz, with Ambassador David Friedman, They were able to create peace, to normalize relations with Israel.
Those things worked.
He took a harder line with Iran.
As you and I have talked, he took a harder line with China.
So what's happening is on the border, it's just one indication of the way that our adversaries see Joe Biden's weakness, and it's bad for the American people.
Yeah, I think that is absolutely true.
I think immediately when Biden answered the question that he said that Putin was a killer, I mean, Putin seemed to be ready for it.
I mean, the guy may be evil, but he's very smart, and we cannot underestimate him.
Immediately, the jab.
Are you healthy, Mr. President?
I hope you're healthy.
Obviously, indicating he had just gone through that horrible performance during his first press conference, where he couldn't remember, he couldn't even read his notes.
And then he said, let's have a debate.
And of course, they went into a shell, indicating the President of the United States can't stand up for us.
But I think you're right.
I think all these things are connected.
North Korea flying missiles over Japan again.
Iran attacking again.
Everybody's pushing.
You know, they want to see what's the breaking point.
So far, Biden's letting them do it.
Now, what would you do—just specifically, from the point of view of the Senate, what would you do in the Senate?
You know, they're also trying to put through this immigration reform, where they would basically make every illegal a citizen.
12 million, could be 20 million.
Probably, if you're ever going to do that, whether it makes sense or not, this is the absolutely worst time to do it.
I mean, if you could pick a worse time, I can't imagine a worse time to do it.
But what would you do?
And it seems like your future colleagues are pretty hot about this.
Yeah, I think one of the things that we need to do is that we need to be very clear about what works for the American people.
And it's very clear that what works are the policies that President Trump put in place.
Of course, we need to construct a border wall.
And instead of setting up our law enforcement officers for failure on the border, instead we need to actually go in and support them.
We need to have the backs of our law enforcement officers.
As you know, Mr. Mayor, it means a tremendous amount from a morale perspective.
When our law enforcement officers know that we support them, that we have their back, that we're behind them, it's an incredibly difficult job.
They have to make dozens of difficult decisions every single night, and we have to find ways to get in there to support our law enforcement officers.
I also think that we need to send a very strong signal to our allies that we're actually going to support them.
President Trump stood strong for Israel, and what happened?
You got peace in the Middle East.
President Trump was also willing to, when he needed to use force, he was willing to kill Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian butcher Remember, remember Biden criticized him for that.
Right.
Biden also advised Obama not to kill bin Laden.
And I really do think that Secretary of Defense Gates, who served with him in the Obama administration, was not exaggerating when she said that Biden has been wrong about every foreign policy decision for the last 30 years.
He's been wrong on all of these foreign policy issues.
And again, Mr. Mayor, obviously you were there.
There was a time when the country and the whole world was kind of, you carried us on your shoulders through 9-11.
The idea that Joe Biden would not want to kill Osama bin Laden, I think that's something that everybody needs to remember and recognize.
That's the kind of man who's in the White House.
And I'll tell you this, as you know, Mr. Mayor, Our adversaries see, they watch intently, they have intel, they're watching every move that Joe Biden makes.
And when they see that he won't even call Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, over a month into his time in office, when they see the weakness of Biden, that is a signal to all of them to move forward and they recognize Biden's weakness.
That's what's happening now and it's dangerous for our troops and it's dangerous for this country.
You know, I think what's going on right now also shows us the need for strong leaders in the Senate.
Obviously, not just to represent your state, which you'll be superb at, you were the governor who did more than any other governor I can think of, but your background in foreign policy.
I mean, for example, what Ted Cruz did a couple of days ago filled a little of that gap.
In lack of leadership, he showed people there are a lot of people in America concerned about.
You have that same ability that Ted has.
Let's take a brief interruption.
Your credit card company found suspicious charges on your card.
That's simple identity theft.
It's annoying, but they cover it.
The type of fraud you really need to worry about is home title theft, a devastating crime that takes you off your home's title.
and you're not covered by insurance or most identity theft programs.
That's why you need home title lock.
Here's how easy it is for cyber criminals to get you.
The title documents to our homes are kept online.
The thief forges your signature on a quick claim deed stating you just sold your home and he's the new owner.
Then he borrows money using your home's equity and leaves you in debt.
You won't know until late payment or eviction notices arrive.
The instant Home Title Lock detects someone tampering with your home's title, they help shut it down.
Let's get you protected.

And enter Rudy for 30 free days of protection.
That's promo code Rudy at HomeTitleLock.com.
Thank you for coming back.
Let's take a look at the video for a moment because it illustrates another thing about the Biden administration across the boards.
This unbelievable anti-democratic censorship with a small D or maybe a capital D. Who knows?
Please give dignity to the people.
Please give dignity to the people.
So you work for the commissioner, your senior advisor.
You were hired two weeks ago, and you're instructed to ask us to not have any pictures taken here.
Please respect the people, the rules.
Because the political leadership at DHS does not want the American people to know it.
Please respect the rules, sir.
You keep standing in front of the pictures.
Please respect the rules.
So you don't want the pictures taken.
The rules are arbitrary, and they're designed to keep the American people in the dark.
Please respect the rules and give the people dignity and respect.
That's all we ask.
Dignity and respect.
Well, no, it's not.
You're asking, is this dignity and respect?
Please give dignity and respect to the people.
I respectfully ask you, sir, with full heartedly, I ask you, please respect the people.
This is not a zoo, sir.
Please don't treat the people as such.
Please don't treat the people like this.
That's all I ask for you, sir.
Please don't treat the people as such.
Please don't treat the people like this.
That's all I ask for you, sir.
That's all I ask of you.
You were instructed when eight.
I mean, that says so many things when you just see that.
the people, give them dignity and respect. I respect them and I want to fix this situation.
We all want to fix this, sir. And the administration you're working for is responsible for these
conditions. Please respect the people with dignity and respect, sir. And I ask you to
respect the people as well. This is not respect. I am respecting you. I am respecting the people.
This is not respect. Eric, what does that say? I mean, that says so many things when you just
see that. Obviously, there's a lot more of it. But what does that say to you about where we are
right now and what our country is doing.
Here's what it says to me, Mr. Mayor.
It says to me that the left is absolutely heartless.
They are absolutely heartless.
You know, when I worked overseas, I worked with young kids who were survivors of the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia.
I worked with kids who were survivors of genocide in Rwanda.
I worked with kids Who had survived landmines in Cambodia, who'd lost links to landmines.
I worked briefly in one of Mother Teresa's homes for the destitute and dying.
And one of the things that I did there was actually documentary photography work to bring those stories home to people.
And what you're seeing here is that the Biden administration is so ashamed of their cruelty.
They're so ashamed of their incompetence.
They're so ashamed of the heartlessness of the left's policy.
That's very powerful, Eric.
And that's happening, sir.
Remember, that's being paid for by your tax dollars.
The people who are standing up saying that you can't see what's happening, you're paying for that with your tax dollars, and then you're paying for the person with your tax dollars to say that you can't see it.
And it speaks to what the Biden administration Propaganda press, the way that the left works, they want to engage in this kind of censorship.
They want to engage in silencing.
They want American citizens to not ask questions and not get the facts.
That's why it's so important that we do bring those facts out, because at the end of the day, the American people are a caring people.
At the end of the day, the American people, they want to do what's right.
What the Biden administration is doing is clearly wrong, and that's why they're ashamed to let the American people see what they're really doing.
You know, a lot of Republicans are somewhat disappointed in some of our legislators.
And the truth is that not everybody in the Senate can do what Ted did.
There are about seven or eight of them, and you would be in addition to that.
I mean, you're someone with vast experience.
You're someone who has no fear.
And for this woman, and I don't blame her, she was just repeating what she was told, to say, you know, we don't want to embarrass these people by showing this.
Well, then you shouldn't be doing it to them.
If you can't show the American people what you're doing, then obviously the problem is the substantive problem of what you're doing to them, not whether we get to see it.
And I think our right to know has been completely eviscerated by the left-wing press And by President Biden.
This is an outrage that we don't get to see what they're doing, the inhumane treatment they're imposing on these people.
This is our country.
We have a right to know that.
I mean, they don't have a right to hide it from us.
It is absolutely outrageous.
And I think we should step back.
I mean, I think one of the things that's great about all of your Common Sense podcast listeners is that they appreciate the big picture.
So let's look at what's been happening over time.
I mean, you, Mr. Mayor, were one of the first guys who was out there talking about the Hunter Biden problems.
Well, what happened?
You had big tech before the election, even before the election, they came in and they censored stories about the son of the vice president then, of now President Biden.
Serious stories.
We now know that he's under criminal investigation for his conduct.
They censored those stories.
They went in and they started de-platforming conservatives.
So they're trying to silence President Trump's voice.
But it's not just President Trump's voice.
It's thousands of conservatives across the country.
Including you, Mr. Trump!
They're trying hard!
Yes!
And then what happens, right?
So they're deciding there are certain stories that you're not allowed to see.
There's certain people you're not allowed to hear from.
And now that Biden's in office, they're going to hide.
They're going to purposefully hide those things that the Biden administration is ashamed of.
And again, this is being paid for with American tax dollars.
And it completely, when you see with your own eyes, and you're watching the boatloads of people coming across the river, being paddled across the river by Mexican gangs and drug cartels, When you see with your own eyes the inhumane conditions that President Biden has created on the border, people recognize this is bad for national security, it's bad for crime, it's bad for the economy, and it is also a humanitarian crisis.
Well, let's go through a few quick issues so people know where you stand.
Among other things, you were a very, very strong proponent of eliminating abortion.
And worked very, very hard and got great credit for the advances you made in Missouri.
You also lowered taxes.
So taking a look at what he's doing with HR1, the expenditures there, The attack on our election system.
I mean, these are things where your executive record is just exactly the opposite.
So you're a perfect advocate, particularly if we can get control of the Senate and virtually we're one vote away.
Yes, and we can't, we can get it, Mr. Mayor.
And as you know, as somebody who fought the election integrity fight and did so, did so valiantly, it's not enough to just have People elected who have an R behind their name.
We need to have courageous fighters who are willing to stand up and fight.
And I think that we can take the majority in 2022.
I also believe that we can bring fighters, people who are really willing to defend President Trump's America First agenda, and who are willing to protect the people of Missouri and the people of America from Biden and Pelosi and Schumer's leftist policies.
I mean, you mentioned what they called a stimulus bill.
That was a $1.9 trillion leftist wishlist bill.
And every single one of your listeners who's listening to the Common Sense podcast, if you pay taxes, You know that Biden just stuck you with another $5,000 in debt to pay for leftist wishlist priorities.
All of those things that we need to have strong advocates who are willing to stand up and fight against the Biden administration.
And the last point I'll make on this, Mr. Mayor, is, you know, when I, when I was governor, I called the first pro-life special session in Missouri's history to pass some very important pro-life reforms.
And after that, We were sued by the Satanic Temple.
And I told all my friends around Missouri, I said, folks, you know what?
If Satan's lawyers are coming after us, we must be doing something right.
And in the same way, in this campaign for the U.S.
Senate, and folks can join us out at ericwrightens.com if they'd like, in this campaign for the U.S.
Senate, we've been attacked by the Lincoln Project.
So, so I'm honored to be attacked by the Satanic Temple.
The Lincoln Project that was disgraced by one of their leaders, obviously being involved in, or allegedly I should say, I know John Weaver, allegedly being involved in pedophilia.
And it's just, and these are the people who are coming after me.
So I know that we're doing something right.
We're standing up, we're fighting for the American people, fighting for President Trump's America First agenda.
And I'm tremendously encouraged by the support that we have all across the state and especially from veterans and police officers around the country.
Let's take a short break and we'll be right back.
My friends, if you want to help preserve America right now, while you still can, join AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, the fastest growing conservative group in America, especially for those age 50 and up.
Joining AMAC gives you access to money-saving benefits, Cutting-edge news and a great bi-monthly magazine.
More importantly, AMAC fights for you.
A socialist storm is brewing.
Our constitutional republic has rarely faced the perils we do today.
Edmund Burke said it best.
All it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing.
If you care about our future like I do, then join AMAC today.
Over 2 million conservatives like you and me have already joined AMAC.
Stand with us by joining right now.
Just go to amac.us forward slash Rudy.
That's amac.us forward slash Rudy.
The benefits of AMAC membership are great.
Well, let me ask you that in conclusion.
You have a very strong identification with people in uniform, whether it's military, law enforcement, people who put their lives at risk every day.
That's how they make their living.
How are things in Missouri?
I was there with you, you know, examining the outrageous McCluskey case.
It seemed like crime was really getting out of control.
Murder, violent crime.
Yes, sir.
Crime is spinning out of control in places like St.
Louis and Kansas City.
We're honored.
The people of Missouri were.
And I know that Alexis Bohannon, the widow of Bobo Hannon, sir, was honored when you came.
Uh, and you were so generous and gracious with the tunnel that I remember.
I remember going to church with you.
Sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You just, you, you did, you did a fantastic job for that, for that family, sir.
And dorm who was with us that day.
She she's endorsed our campaign for the U S powerful woman.
Yeah.
She she's incredible.
And look, the fact is that she and police officers across the, the, the city of St.
Louis and the state of Missouri, I just got a bunch of texts today from guys in, in Kansas city.
They recognize that we need to have leaders who are willing to fight.
And it's not that hard, Mr. Mayor.
You know, because you did this in New York, but perhaps better than anyone.
It's common sense.
And you got to stick to a plan.
When I was governor, I said very clearly, I said, look, we're going to protect everyone's constitutional rights.
I said, everyone has the right to freedom of speech, to freedom of assembly.
And I said, and if you're out protesting, exercising your constitutional rights, you will find that our police officers are out protecting you and protecting those rights.
But I was very clear, throwing a brick through a window is not free speech.
And that if you assault a law enforcement officer, you are going to go to prison.
And that's what we did.
We had clarity.
We brought strength.
We brought compassion.
We brought people together and we were able to defeat Antifa.
By standing side by side and supporting our law enforcement officers.
Is there a chance you could be governor and senator at the same time?
Well, I appreciate that, Mr. Mayor.
I think we'll do this first.
Well, Eric, I have to tell you, just tell us as we conclude, what's the, right now, and this may change a year from now when the election takes place and you get elected, what would be the number one priority that you would see for what you wanted to accomplish as a United States senator?
Uh, Mr. Mayor, the number one priority right now is law and order.
That includes supporting our police officers, and it also includes maintaining the security of our border.
We also have to, as you know, you've been part of the fight, election integrity is essential.
Those things are bedrocks of our Republic, sir.
We have got to protect life and liberty by supporting our law enforcement officers and protecting the border.
And we have to make sure that we have integrity in our elections.
We're going to have to get you back because there's so many more things that I wanted to talk to you about.
The monstrosity of HR1, where it looks like they're trying to create kind of a socialist one-party state.
And the budget basically taking our dollar and virtually destroying it while Well, China is trying to get rid of the dollar as the main currency.
There's so much we need to discuss.
But I wanted people to see with more extensive answers that, you know, sometimes you don't get to give on a television interview.
We've got a very exceptional, intelligent man running here.
And we don't always have that, a person.
And like me, you were a Democrat before you were a Republican.
Like Winston Churchill, my hero.
And I know you know this, but Winston said if you're not a liberal when you're 20, you have no heart.
And if you're not a conservative when you're 40, you have no brain.
Exactly.
You have a brain.
Like Churchill, like Reagan, like a lot of us.
Reagan also, yes.
Trump that way.
Trump!
And then Trump, yes.
So I, you know, I endorsed you, so I should tell people that so they can factor that into the interview.
And of course, I will do anything I can to help you get elected.
I've even offered to support your opponents, if that would help.
Thank you, Mr. Mayor.
I appreciate you.
It's an honor to be on, and I really enjoy this format where we get to dive in.
Yeah, this is what you can do with a podcast, and then the people who can go beyond, you know, the three lines, we get to find out who they are, and they're the ones that have to govern us.
Thank you very, very much, Eric.
And congratulations, and thank you for what you've already contributed to Our country and to your great state.
You've already amassed a record worth retiring on, if you want it.
But thank God you're not.
Thank you, Mr. Mayor.
Honored to be on with you, sir.
Found that one of the more interesting and exhilarating interviews that I've done.
And one that in a time of people losing hope, it gives me hope when we have people like Eric stepping up.
