Going back to this flight, I just grieve for those families.
And they deserve answers.
I don't know if DEI caused this flight or caused that crash.
I don't know.
But I do want to know if it did.
And frankly, let me say this.
Even if it didn't, it is my opinion that the argument needs to be made and put forth anyway.
Because if it didn't cause that crash, it will cause one or two or three or more.
So even if DEI didn't cause that crash, it's going to cause a crash or more.
And it needs to be addressed.
Eliminating DEI isn't racist.
Eliminating DEI isn't going after certain people groups, underprivileged people groups.
It's actually doing the exact opposite.
It's telling those people groups, hey, we're all American.
Hey, you can succeed.
I'm going to raise standards here.
That's what Trump is doing in education.
I'm going to raise standards here.
And you know what you can do?
I'm going to give you some freedom.
And then you can chase after whatever it is that God created and designed you to be.
DEI, how do I put this?
DEI isn't advancing freedom.
DEI hinders freedom.
And your personal freedom.
And I know many people have bought into it because you think it's virtuous and, oh, it's about skin color.
No, it's not about skin color.
It's about racism.
Well, okay, in that sense it is.
But it's about victimhood.
It's evil.
I want you to see my skin.
I already see your skin colorful.
I don't give a damn.
What I care about is when I go on an airplane, I want to know if you can fly the damn plane.
That's all I want to know.
I don't care if you look like Tom Selleck.
I don't care if you look like Denzel Washington.
I want to know when I get in an aluminum can, 35,000 feet in the air, can you fly the damn plane?
That's all I want to know.
I don't give a flip about your skin color.
Are you qualified to keep me alive and get me to my destination?
That's all I want to know.
That's all that counts.
That's all that matters.
All that other crap is nonsense.
I don't want to have...
You know what's so sad, too, for all of you social justice warriors?
How dare you guys make other people think that black people are lesser than?
You claim.
You claim to be standing up for black people.
You're not standing up for black people.
You're telling everybody, guys, we think our own people are stupid and incompetent.
You know, all of these racist whites, all these people that we claim to be, you know, all of these people that call us dumb and all this stuff, you know, you're affirming what you say you're fighting.
I mean, it's the dumbest thing ever.
And it could only, in my opinion, a lot of this stuff...
It was birthed, if you will, in the faculty, the faculty lounges of colleges and universities across the nation where these people exist in bubbles.
Oh, I'm a professional and I'm a professional and I'm a professional and we know better than all of these people out here and you don't know jack crap.
All you know is what happens on that college and university campus and you have no freaking common sense because you're an elite and you're out of touch.
And that's not the case with everybody, obviously, on colleges and universities.
