Half the Country Knows
00:03:48
|
|
| What exactly about Donald Trump in his four years exhibited fascistic tendencies? | |
| It's as unprecedented as the persecution of Donald Trump. | |
| Taking him to court on trumped-up charges, no pun intended at all. | |
| I'm not the first to note that if in fact he is Hitler and fascist, a fascist, why does that not give the green light to would-be assassins? | |
| I mean, if somebody had killed Hitler in the 1930s, do you know how many lives would have been saved? . | |
| So if he is Hitler, or an admirer of Hitler, be the first admirer of Hitler to have a Jewish child and Jewish grandchildren, I might add. | |
| One of the few things Jews agree on is that Hitler was a bad man. | |
| It's sickening. | |
| Yes, somebody will absolutely be affected by this rhetoric. | |
| Okay, next please. | |
| Tim Walls. | |
| Tim Walls. | |
| Tim Walls: Look, I don't say this lightly because I didn't, in my 60 damn years, I didn't think I'd ever see a candidate for president praising Adolf Hitler's generals or talking about using the military against their enemies. | |
| I mean, it's pretty stunning. | |
| And I said, look, I recognize I'm on the top of his list. | |
| But don't kid yourself. | |
| You're somewhere on that list, too, if you disagree with these people. | |
| That's who they are. | |
| Wow. | |
| 99% of the censorship of dissent in this country comes from his party, comes from the left. | |
| And he's acting like this is all coming from the right. | |
| I have lived to see the truth of if you repeat anything enough times, people will believe it. | |
| People believe men give birth because it's been repeated enough. | |
| But not all. | |
| Half the country knows these people are consummate liars. | |
| The truth is not a left-wing value. | |
| It's a liberal value and a conservative value, but not a left-wing value. | |
| Half the country knows that. | |
| And half the country thinks the opposite. | |
| What are you talking about? | |
| I don't know what he's talking about. | |
| You're on the list? | |
| I know he's on the list. | |
| Of what? | |
| To be rounded up, presumably, yeah. | |
| And don't kid yourselves, you're on the list too. | |
| It's so utterly projection. | |
| That's how these people think? | |
| That's how what? | |
| You mean how claiming that's how right-wing people think? | |
| Please play Hillary Clinton. | |
| Okay, it's not coming up. | |
| And you know, one other thing that you'll see next week, Caitlin, is Trump actually reenacting the Madison Square Garden rally in 1939. I write about this in my book. | |
|
The Nazi Rally Analogy
00:02:42
|
|
| President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo-Nazis, fascists in America were lining up to essentially Pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany So I don't think we can ignore So he's having a rally at Madison Square Garden and therefore the analogy is to a 1939 | |
| Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden Well, they they do have something in common Madison Square Garden That's all you need. | |
| This is all cover for everything that they do. | |
| The suppression of liberty via the political prisoners. | |
| For the first time in American history, we have political prisoners. | |
| The sadism involved with the January 6th people who did nothing but enter the Capitol. | |
| I'm not defending the entry to the Capitol. | |
| I condemn it the day it happened. | |
| But there are people who did nothing, who were sent to prison and put in solitary confinement. | |
| I said on January 7th that they will use it the way the fascists in Germany used the Reichstag fire. | |
| And I said, I'm not calling them Nazis. | |
| I'm just comparing the use of it. | |
| That's exactly what's happened. | |
| How did the Nazis use it? | |
| They used it to suppress liberty in Germany, and they used January 6th to suppress liberty in America. | |
| Do you really fear being rounded up by a conservative government, a Republican government? | |
| If you do, you're paranoid. | |
| But there's every reason to fear being rounded up by a left-wing government. | |
| Well, that's quite a trio, those three. | |
| But when you want to win on the left, you can say anything. | |
| What's happened is, though, the word Hitler and the word fascist, the word Nazi, have been cheapened for the first time since World War II. Now it means nothing. | |
| When I say that Hamas are the modern-day Nazis, It means nothing to most young people, because after all, Trump is a Nazi. | |
| So big deal. | |
