Greetings and salutations.
Welcome to the Dennis Prager Show here on the Salem Radio Network, six minutes after the hour.
Thanks for being with us.
Dennis, of course, is not here.
Otherwise, you'd be hearing the familiar tones.
But rather, I am Bob France, and I am live in the ReliefFactor.com pain-free studios of AM 1420, The Answer.
That's right, Cleveland, Ohio.
That's the home base.
So it's good to be with you for the second consecutive day speaking to this incredibly intelligent and aware audience.
I will call you aware.
I will call you awake.
I will not call you woke.
Believe me when I tell you that.
There is a big difference.
So much news to get into today.
We've got a couple of great guests that are going to be joining us on the broadcast.
At the top of the next hour, we're going to be speaking with one of the most prominent conservative voices in the U.S. House.
Congressman Jim Jordan will be with us to talk about the top stories of the day.
Including the swap.
You remember the swap from seven years ago that we told you would come back to haunt us.
We told you that would come back to bite us.
When?
That day is today.
We're going to talk to Jim Jordan about that.
I'll give you more on that in just a moment.
That'll be at the top of the second hour.
At the top of the third hour, did you see what happened to J.D. Vance?
J.D. Vance, the author of Hillbilly Elegy.
The Appalachian-raised, kind of half Appalachian, half Middletown, Ohio-raised young man who went on to become, went to Yale Law School.
No, I take that back.
I think he went to Yale for his undergrad, got his law degree at Ohio State.
Beg your pardon.
Anyway, J.D. Vance is now a Senate candidate.
J.D. Vance is one of the top Senate candidates, at least according to polls.
He's rising.
He's got a lot of very powerful people behind him.
Not a lot of which, by the way, or not all of which are full conservatives.
He's got some Silicon Valley support.
But J.D. Vance is a Senate candidate to replace Rob Portman, who is retiring and is not running for re-election here in the state of Ohio, again, in which I reside.
So I will cast one of the votes in this election.
J.D. Vance's campaign account was suspended from Twitter.
Twitter is not now just censoring conservative individuals like, you know, the former president of the United States.
Now they're actually practicing election interference.
The campaign account for J.D. Vance was suspended.
Without any rhyme or reason being offered, you just can't have a place on Twitter anymore.
They're still trying to find out why.
To my knowledge, they have not found out why.
But it's an issue.
It's a massive issue.
Free speech, the ability to communicate, the ability to use modern tech the way everyone else is using modern tech in campaigning, all of that now is up in the air.
The top of our number three today, we're going to be talking with Patrick Wood, the Executive Director of Citizens for Free Speech.
That organization, to which I belong, by the way, that organization is working very, very hard against the big tech oligarchs and technocrats who are trying to essentially decide what can be said, by whom, and who can hear it.
By way of, you know, essentially five companies, five tech gurus running and deciding what information is available.
So we're going to talk to Jim Jordan at the top of hour two, Patrick Wood at the top of hour number three.
And before I talk to you at 877-243-7776 or 8Prager776, let's start our day the way we started our day yesterday.
I made a big deal of it yesterday to explain why I do what I do when I start my radio programs, even the ones for which I am filling in, like Dennis's.
So I'm going to ask you if you're a patriot to stand, wherever you may be.
I'm going to ask you if there's a flag nearby for you to face it.
And if there's not a flag nearby, at the very least, put your hand over your heart and join us in starting our broadcast with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Leftists, Obama voters, Biden voters, Taliban supporters, you can go ahead and take your knee.
For the rest of us, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands.
One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Now, you certainly remember the swap, right?
It was June of 2014. I was on the airwaves in Cleveland, Ohio, and I, like many others in conservative-minded media at the time, told you we would rue the day.
Told you that when Barack Obama swapped five high-value Taliban leaders who were being held at Guantanamo Bay, who were captured through the great sacrifice and courage of American servicemen and women,
captured when we went into Afghanistan to avenge 9-11, captured when we wanted to make sure that the Taliban could never, ever Wage such terror on the rest of the world again.
We captured these high-value Taliban leaders, and we put them at Gitmo, which was against, by the way, my advice, not that anybody asked for it.
To me, when you capture terrorists, you kill them.
You don't hold on to them, or at least you hold on to them long enough only to get what information you can about other terrorists, and then you execute them.
I don't know when that became such a taboo thing in war, to not kill your enemy who is trying to kill you.
I didn't know that was a big no-no.
But it became one, so they captured these Taliban and they kept them at Guantanamo Bay until an American deserter by the name of Bo Burdahl decided he just didn't want to fight anymore.
He didn't want to fight anymore.
He abandoned his post.
He went off wandering somewhere.
And then depending on what story you believe, either he was captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan and held captive for five years, which is one side of the story, or because of pictures that were leaked after the fact of him wearing full Muslim garb and flowing robes, including the headdress.
He either was being held captive or he was a deserter who joined the enemy, who literally flipped sides, who literally said, you know, maybe there is something to this Islam thing.
I don't know which.
To this day, I still don't know which.
But what I do know is that he deserted his post.
He left his fellow platoon members in grave danger.
They risked their necks trying to find and save him.
And when it was finally time...
The Taliban said, we'll let this guy go.
Again, if you believe that part of the story.
If you'll release our leaders.
And you may recall June of 2014, when Barack Obama made that fateful decision.
With respect to the circumstances of Sergeant Bergdahl's.
Captured by the Taliban.
We obviously have not been interrogating Sergeant Bergdahl.
He is recovering from five years of captivity with the Taliban.
He's having to undergo a whole battery of...
Tests and he is going to have to undergo a significant transition back into life.
He has not even met with his family yet, which indicates, I think, the degree to which we take this transition process seriously, something that we learned from the Vietnam era.
Regardless of the circumstances, whatever those circumstances may turn out to be, we still get An American soldier back if he's held in captivity.
Period.
In terms of potential threats, the release of the Taliban who were being held in Guantanamo was conditioned on the Qataris keeping eyes on them and creating a structure in which we can monitor their activities.
We will be keeping eyes on them.
Is there the possibility of Some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us?
Absolutely.
That's been true of all the prisoners that were released from Guantanamo.
There's a certain recidivism rate that takes place.
I wouldn't be doing it if I thought that it was contrary to American national security.
Do you still have eyes on them, Barry?
You still have eyes on the five Taliban leaders that you released in exchange for an American deserter?
I do.
And Qatari eyes aren't on them anymore.
The world's eyes are, because they are now the leaders of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
They have now returned to lead the battle against you, me, and everything West.
Well done, Barack.
I've only trusted you to start with this.
Let's do it.
Promises, promises.
Don't you get tired of commercials screaming at you to buy gold now with inflated promises on future values?
In an unregulated industry, you need honest, real experts to give you solid advice to protect your wealth and top picks on the best coins in bullion based on real-time data and historical trends.
For example, as environmental policy becomes a hot topic, one precious metal that's been significantly undervalued for years is potentially set to surge.
Nick Grovich, owner of AmFedCoin and Bullion, has long recommended this precious metal.
Up to 600,000 ounces of this rare metal will be needed by 2030 to produce green hydrogen.
Nick is doubling down on this pick, and you should too.

Not one mistake.
I want you to understand that we're dealing with wokesters in the White House, where the rest of the world is trying to build warriors.
Our American soldiers have no fault of their own.
Our leadership is...
We just have bad leadership.
It's as simple as that.
And our leadership is trying to build wokesters while the rest of the world is trying to build warriors.
Because places like China, places like Russia, perhaps now even Afghanistan, obviously they don't have the resources to do so.
But these other places want to be number one, China specifically.
So while they're looking to build their militaries and to strengthen their militaries, we're...
We're looking to brainwash ours.
And it's a sad commentary, but I want you to understand what we're dealing with.
If we can't count on the Biden-Harris administration to conduct even a safe and orderly troop withdrawal or leave just a small residual amount of troops behind to keep the country stabilized, what else can we not count on from the Biden administration?
Look at our open borders.
Do you really believe that the Biden administration We'll be able to fix the borders, perhaps even once to fix the borders.
I don't even believe they want to fix the borders, frankly.
I don't think there's any doubt about it that the vast majority of us wanted to get out of there.
No one wants our soldiers to go to war in perpetuity.
But I don't believe in handing our soldiers a loss.
I don't believe in doing that.
I believe that if we send our soldiers to war, we need to send them to war to win.

You know, the irony should not be lost upon any of us.
That as I played that Barack Obama clip from 2014 in which he said that we went and got Bo Bergdahl because Americans don't leave men behind.
Paraphrasing.
We don't leave men behind, said Barack Obama, in justifying his trade of five high-value Taliban leaders from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for the return of the American trader Bo Bergdahl.
Bo Bergdahl, in my view, was never a victim.
Bo Bergdahl was a traitor.
At the bare minimum, a deserter who put his fellow troops in harm's way.
And for Barack Obama to go out of his way to get that traitor back in exchange for these five high-valued Taliban, the irony is that his vice president at the time, Joe Biden, is president now.
And he just completely abandoned that principle.
That long-standing American principle of no man left behind.
Because he left hundreds of Americans behind.
And thousands of Afghans who were either sympathetic to and loyal to the American cause or are family members thereof.
He left plenty of people behind.
Meanwhile, the five Taliban...
That we said back in June of 2014, and I remember having this conversation on the air in 2014, like many others, I'm not proclaiming to be a prophet here, but like many others, I said, if you don't think we're going to see those released Taliban back on the battlefields or back in the command centers...
In Afghanistan or wherever they may try to launch new terror attacks from, then you're just delusional.
You're not thinking it through.
You're a shallow thinker.
You're not a deep thinker.
Because there is no way they're going to get released from their constraints in Guantanamo and come out changed men.
And you know, boy, that time inside that Guantanamo facility really made me rethink my commitment to radical Islam and killing the West and killing infidels and nonbelievers.
I really think that whole thing's a lot of hooey now.
I'm going to come out and just be a normal guy.
If you didn't think that this was coming, like I said, you just don't think.
Four of the five ex-Gitmo detainees exchanged for Bo Bergdahl now have senior positions in the new Taliban's resurrected Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
That's what they're calling it, the resurrected Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Now, the names I'll try to pronounce properly, but if I get them wrong, who cares?
Karula Kirakwa, the acting minister for information and culture.
One of the five Taliban detainees traded by Barack Obama.
Excuse me.
I don't think maybe just saying that name forced the cough.
Nurullah Nouri is the acting minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs.
Abdul Haq Wasik is now the acting director of intelligence for the new Taliban government.
And Mohammed Fazi.
Is the Deputy Defense Minister.
The fifth is Mohammed Nabi Omari, who has reportedly been named the Governor of Coast, the Coast Province in Afghanistan.
So all five of these detainees in Guantanamo, but now again, I have to point out the obvious just because it deserves it.
Those who lost their lives.
In the initial invasion of Afghanistan, on the heels of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, we went right in, in October and November, into Afghanistan, and we lost lives.
And for the next several years, we spent all of that time, that blood, that sweat, those tears, that treasure, trying to destroy the Taliban, to make sure that they could never again.
Fund, train, and operate a terror attack, the one that al-Qaeda carried out.
And all of that blood that was spilled was spilled either killing or capturing people like these five guys.
Now, these five cold-blooded, savage Taliban terrorists are free and running the resurgent Taliban, and will be doing so three days from now.
When we celebrate, not celebrate, when we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the terror attack that they sponsored.
Can you try to wrap your brain around that?
20 years ago this Saturday, September 11th, 20 years ago, the Taliban watched as the plan that they helped sponsor, they watched it get carried out.
A month, two months after that, we went in there to make the Taliban pay, and we spent blood capturing these guys, and we threw them into a dark hole in Guantanamo Bay.
Now, 20 years later, they're back in charge of the Taliban, and they have American hostages behind their lines.
They have American citizens.
Still in Afghanistan, under Taliban Sharia law control.
Americans who were abandoned on direct command by the Commander-in-Chief, Joe Biden, who said, we're going to get everybody out of there, and then said, too bad, we didn't get everybody out of there, but we're out.
So let's talk about climate change.
Let's talk about the California recall election.
Let's talk about anything other than Afghanistan, please.
And by the way, nobody, please, nobody mentioned the name Bo Bergdahl.
My former boss, Barack Obama, Joe Biden would say, traded these five guys who are now running the Taliban, who now have American hostages, for an American traitor.
And oh, by the way, when I mentioned that Bo Bergdahl, the American traitor, who was traded for these...
Traded, T-R-A-D-E-D, traded for these five high-value Taliban detainees who are now back to commit more atrocities against the West and against America.
When I said that he put his platoon mates in harm's way, in jeopardy, here's a story, and thank you to William, working here as part of Dennis' crew, who reminds us of a retired Army National Guard soldier from Atlanta who died two years ago.
He died in 2019, 10 years after he was shot in the head while searching for Bo Bergdahl.
Master Sergeant Mark Allen was injured in a June 2009 search mission for Bergdahl, who walked away from his military outpost and was either captured by or joined the Taliban.
He died, finally, of his wound after that traumatic brain injury two years ago.
And meanwhile...
Bo Bergdahl's trading partners, if you will, are running the Taliban.
All right, 29 minutes after the hour.
I'm Bob Franson for Dennis Prager.

As the kids would say, OMG. Yeah, we have an extensive vetting process.

I'm so tired.
This is the left, and we've heard this so many times, that the word is fluid for the Constitution.
Oh, it's fluid.
It changes in meaning.
So there's no real specific definition.
Well, that's not true.
The hallmark of our Constitution is not just separation of powers, but limited specific powers.
And so on the federal level, the Biden administration and the executive branch and even Congress are limited to the specific enumerated powers that are given in the United States Constitution.
Ninth and Tenth Amendment reserve all powers that are not enumerated to the states and to the people.
So that doesn't mean then that the states are just unlimited in their authority either.
And so the federal government has absolutely no authority to tell the states what to do with respect to vaccine mandates, with respect to, you know, any of these things that infringe upon our liberty and freedom.
We're no longer in a state of emergency.
The state legislatures can absolutely meet and they can.
We can determine whether or not to implement some of these things if they're even constitutional.
And there's a lot of reasons that they're not.
But that is a specifically legislative designation.
So for these executive branch officials to say, hey, we're exercising our emergency authorization, we're going to force every individual to show a vaccine passport before they can take advantage and exercise their rights with respect to going into restaurants, gyms, hotels.
I mean, all of these things.
That is a violation of the separation of powers.
Our government is not tyrannical.
They can't just decide what's best for you and me in the interest of, quote unquote, public safety.
But this is where, Eric, the left wants to go.

What would you be doing right now if you were the commander-in-chief?
If one U.S. citizen were hurt in Afghanistan, what would your response be and how would you use our special forces?
Well, we're in a much worse position right now than we were.
When I had it, it was absolutely—we had it so locked down, we would have been able to leave so easily.
And so, I mean, it would have just been a beautiful process.
And then...

That is the home base, again, here in Cleveland.
I don't know how many different ways Democrat leadership can possibly let us down.
But I'm running out of ways to count.
I'm running out of fingers to count them on.
Seriously, Barack Obama, we knew it was going to happen.
He released those five Taliban who are now back in the government leadership positions of a nation that is doomed, doomed to be enveloped by a civil war amongst various terror factions.
And that might be the best case scenario.
Best case scenario is that they're at war with one another.
That Al-Qaeda reconstitutes and is at odds with ISIS-K and that ISIS-K is at odds with the Taliban.
The best case scenario is that they're all competing with one another to carry out jihad.
The worst case scenario is that they get along and that they coordinate and that they share their resources.
That's the worst case scenario.
Meantime, American citizens are trapped behind enemy lines.
And what happens when they try to escape?
What happens when private contractors try to go in there and bribe Taliban checkpoints and use whatever back channels that they have to get airplanes off the ground with Americans in them to get them out since Joe Biden can't and won't do it using our military?
Then we have the State Department.
Tony Blinken.
Who might be the most ineffective, ineffectual, weak-kneed, little weasel of a Secretary of State that we've ever had.
Compare that guy to the strength projected by Mike Pompeo and his boss, Donald Trump.
I mean, it's night and day.
The State Department, led by Tony Blinken, obstructs and stops private rescue flights from leaving.
According to information contained in a leaked email, the State Department refused to grant official approval for private evacuation flights to land in third countries, even though the department conceded that official authorization would likely be needed for planes to land in those nations anyway.
Furthermore, the State Department, the Biden State Department explicitly states that charter flights Even those containing American citizens would not be allowed to land at the Defense Department airbases.
U.S. officials have pointed to possible security threats from landing charter planes at military bases, saying they lack the resources on the ground to fully verify the flight manifests.
Meanwhile, the very same Biden administration has allowed as many as 50,000 unvetted Afghans to be amongst Unvetted Afghans to be amongst the 120,000 that they are bragging to have airlifted out during the chaos of the last two weeks.
Unvetted, brought to the United States, and yes, delivered to various parts of our country, likely never to be seen or heard from again until perhaps they're heard from in a negative way.
Now what does that mean?
You know exactly what it means.
I am not accusing any one of the 50,000 of being Taliban loyalists, being Al-Qaeda loyalists.
But until we know, we don't know, do we?
I'm pretty sure that...
What did they say?
123,000 they bragged about people were airlifted out in this massive evacuation.
Joe Biden called an extraordinary success.
Never been done before.
Only 6% of them were Americans.
That means 94% of 120,000 were Afghans or third country expats.
And those individuals may all be interpreters, right?
Maybe there's 100,000 interpreters who worked for the Americans and helped us out.
And welcome all to the United States, the land of opportunity.
Welcome, my friends.
Or since we couldn't vet them and have no earthly idea who they are, they may be infiltrated by or even made up as a majority of individuals who are not necessarily looking for the American dream, but looking to destroy America's dreams.
Do you understand what I mean?
They won't let Americans land at DOD airbases because they're afraid that the people on board haven't been vetted.
But yet they have allowed thousands to come in by way of those airlifts and hundreds of thousands by way of our southern border to come in completely and fully unvetted.
And they have no concern about that whatsoever.
This is extraordinary.

That's on you.
You should have gotten out.
So Americans are abandoned.
There are hundreds of them.
Private contractors are going in trying to extricate them from their circumstances behind the Taliban's enemy lines.
And the State Department blocks them from leaving, making sure that they stay hostages.
Meanwhile, the press secretary comes out and tells the media that the Americans are not being held hostage.
So that's an important thing.
I thought you were talking about the Build Back Better agenda.
No, that is not what we would characterize it as.
Those were comments made by a Republican congressman this weekend, so let me be very clear.
We're in touch with American citizens.
We're working to get them out.
There are four who were able to depart over land.
Four who were able to depart over land because of private contractors.

And what we have seen is that individuals who have documentation are able to depart, or that is what we have seen.
But again, we don't have a...
Of course you don't.
And you didn't have a great deal of understanding of every individual on the cargo planes that you sent out, 120,000 strong, and brought to the United States, only 6% of which were Americans.
I mean, I don't know that I've ever seen anything this chaotic, this Embarrassing and, quite frankly, this dangerous for national security.
All right, let's go to you as I promised that I would.
We're going to go to Hazlitt, Texas.
That's where Roger is.
Roger, you're on the Dennis Prager Show.
Thanks for joining us.
Well, thanks for taking my call.
Let me say this.
We have to go back and realize that we're playing it.
We're in a chess match.
But the Republicans and most of the Republican speakers on radio are trying to play checkers.
What happened is Obama would not send military help to help our ambassador.
In Libya, in the hopes that he would be captured, thereby giving the terrorists a large enough bargaining chip so that he could release five generals back onto the battlefield.
Trouble is, he got killed.
The ambassador got killed.
Now they had to go back and follow Plan 2 and do Bergdahl.
They still let five generals back on the field.
There's a traitor in the mix.
Let's figure out who it is.
That Obama deliberately sent Bergdahl to depart his base and go and get captured by the Taliban so that he would have a boarding ship.
No, I didn't say that.
Bergdahl was captured.
I don't know how he was captured.
I don't know if he knew anything was going on.
I think he was a useful idiot.
But in the final analysis, with the ambassador murdered...
Now they have to fall back on page two, or option two, which is release Bergdahl, get Bergdahl released, and trade for five generals.
So in other words, plan B is to find somebody that we can sacrifice up in order to get these generals released.
So what's the endgame, then, if this is chess?
And I'll take you at your word here with what you're describing.
But if this is Chess and you're Barack Obama and you get five high-value Taliban generals or leaders back out of Gitmo and eventually on their way back to Afghanistan to continue to run things, what's the benefit?
Okay, I'm going to give you an opinion.
Just an opinion.
I think that Barack Obama is a Muslim.
He's always been a Muslim.
His name's Hussein for a reason.
Nothing's changed.
He hates America.
He wants to fundamentally transform the United States of America into a socialist dictatorship.
That's the goal of the Republican Party.
I mean, the Democrat Party.
And so what do you think they can do to help destroy America?
Let me try to cut through some of this, Roger.
If he's a Muslim, wouldn't he want the United States to become an Islamic nation, not a communist dictatorship?
Well, what's the difference?
Well, there are differences.
They're both dictatorships.
That's true, but Sharia law is not necessarily, for example, compatible with socialist theory and Marxist theory or communist theory.
I don't know if that's true or not.
I don't know.
And again, I'm not arguing with you about that.
I mean, I don't know, but I don't know.
Nor am I. I'm just trying to put your theory to the test.
If your belief is that, and thank you, Roger, for the phone call, if your belief is that Obama is trying to essentially establish an Islamic caliphate here in the United States as well, and this is one way to do it, because you believe he's a Muslim, okay, I'll play the game and have the discussion, but then I'll have to ask, what do you mean when you say he wants to create a socialist nation?
To say that those two things are wholly incompatible would be incorrect.
I've got a friend who's very well known.
His name is Jim Simpson.
He ran for Congress, by the way.
He has served in the White House.
Jim Simpson has written two books on the red-green axis.
Now, if you don't know what the red-green axis is, in fact, I think I may have even had him on Dennis' show before.
I have to double-check that, but I think I had Jim Simpson on these airwaves before.
But at any rate, his books on the red-green axis are very, very important, very, very informational and educational.
The red-green axis is the unholy alliance between the red, communism, and the green, Islamism, and that there is a shared goal.
Now, does that mean that somebody like Barack Obama is both of those things?
I'm not saying that.
But there is a shared danger to the West.
And to Christianity and Judeo-Christian nations like ours, from those who are, like I said, the red-green axis, that alliance between the two.
If you've never read those books, I would highly recommend them.
There's two versions, Red Green Access and the sequel to Red Green Access 2 2.0, but you're going to want to check those out and educate yourself on those because I think there is a lot of important information there.
I may have to have Jim back on these airwaves.
Speaking of Jim, I will have a Jim on the airwaves at the top of the hour.
Jim Jordan, who's a congressional representative in Ohio, ranking member of the Judiciary Committee as well.
He's always got something to say about this news, and we're going to talk to him about the Afghanis, Afghans.
That have been freed now to run the Taliban as well as the State Department holding back Americans will be released.

witnessed in the last three weeks.
Maybe the greatest, most embarrassing disaster we've ever witnessed in our country.
The difference was almost...
First of all, it was the opposite.
It was the exact opposite.
We knocked out ISIS when I took in...
When I took over, ISIS was all over the Middle East.
We knocked out 100% of the ISIS caliphate.
I notice now they call it ISIS-K, so you'll explain that.
But we knocked out 100% of the ISIS caliphate.
We took out al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS. Trending now on The Hugh Hewitt Show.
General McMaster and Secretary Esper are blaming you for the Doha agreement.
They're saying that you empowered them.
What do you make of these criticisms from General McMaster, who was your second national security advisor, and Secretary Esper?
Yeah.
These are two guys.
You know, I had great people in my administration, but those two were stiffs.
McMaster was not a smart guy.
All he liked doing was talking to the press, and I rarely listened to him, and then ultimately fired him.
And Jesper, I called him Jesper because all he did was say yes.
Jesper was like a little boy.
All he did was say yes.
No matter what you asked him, he was a lightweight.
And honestly, should not have been in that position.
We were rushed because there was a difficulty with a good man who was in there prior to him.
He had some...
Family difficulty.
And I gave Jesper a try and put him in there for a short period of time.
He didn't have what it takes.
The men and women, the people within the military, did not respect him.
And McMaster, all he did was like to write things and write books and complain.
And he wasn't a smart person.
Just so you understand, they're complaining about the agreement that I just talked about with you, which had strong conditions.
And when the reason, as an example, I wanted to be out as soon as possible.
We had to get out strong with all our equipment and no death.
The reason nobody was killed in the last 18 months was because of what we did.
Beyond the agreement was because of the relationship I developed with the leaders, and in particular with Abdul.

There's six minutes before the top of the album.
Don't forget, after the top of the hour, we're going to talk to the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee who's got some serious questions and issues with the way the Biden administration handled not only the withdrawal of troops but also the evacuation of civilians and the fact that civilians left behind enemy lines.
Are not being allowed to leave now, even when being given opportunity by private contractors.
And Jim Jordan will also have thoughts on the Bo Bergdahl swap as well.
That's what Charlie wants to talk about.
In Ohio, the Bo Bergdahl swap for those five high-value Taliban detainees.
They're now back to lead the effort against the West, from which they led back in 2001.
Having a little hard time with the screen here.
Now I got them.
Charlie in Westlake, you're on the air.
Go right ahead.
Thanks, Bob, for taking the call.
Absolutely.
I called a couple weeks ago about this bulldog thing because it wasn't adding up.
Like Roger said before me, there's a traitor amidst us.
They're trying to govern us by crisis.
They've learned that never let a crisis go to waste.
So they're creating these crises to change the government, change everything.
And if this is the truth, if Bergdahl was traded and, you know, Obama's a traitor.
You don't take somebody out of prison and not think they're going to come back as a leader.
It always happens.
Napoleon, Hitler, all of them, you put them in prison, they come back as leaders.
They did this.
This was created.
This is created.
And, you know, if it's the truth, then he's a traitor.
Yeah, and, you know, one could if you wanted to be generous.
And thank you for the call, Charlie.
I'll try to be that here.
I'll try to be charitable.
And give Obama the very best benefit of the doubt here when he traded those five Taliban detainees for Bill Burdell.
One could argue being charitable here that this is just Obama truly living up to the belief and the age-old American custom and standard of never leaving a man behind.
This is just what we do.
We've got an American who's been captured by the Taliban.
If we can get him out, we've got to get him out.
Now, in order to live up to that American standard and custom, you have to violate another, which is you don't negotiate with terrorists.
He negotiated with terrorists.
And the price of Bo Bergdahl, a traitor and a deserter, was the five high-value Taliban detainees.
So if you're being charitable at the very best case scenario for Obama, he was just trying to not leave a man behind.
Especially in 2014, which is just two years after, we left Americans behind in Benghazi to fend for themselves.
And the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did nothing about it.
And the President Barack Obama washed his hands of it.
And then after they were killed, after Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods, and Glenn Doherty were killed, they blamed it on a videotape here in the United States.
You understand the point here.
They are all over the place in their foreign policy and I don't know if they necessarily have an agenda or if they're just that incompetent.

I want you to understand that we're dealing with wokesters and the White House where the rest of the world is trying to build warriors and Our American soldiers have no fault of their own.
No fault of their own.
Do you really believe that the Biden administration We'll be able to fix the borders, perhaps even wants to fix the borders.

I think this is a crisis that we haven't faced since 9/11.
I think it's worse than 9-11 because we ran towards the danger and tried to save people.
Then now we're abandoning them.
Is the president going to stick with this?
It seems like the president is doubling down.
And what is shocking to me, we had a brief with Secretary Blinken, Secretary Austin, General Milley, etc.
And there was very strong bipartisan pushback.
On the August 31st deadline.
In fact, some of the strongest statements pushing back on that came from my Democratic colleagues, particularly those who are veterans who've served in Afghanistan in a uniform and other parts of the world were very forceful in telling the administration to their face that this is a disaster.
And I think there was a recognition by the administration that we can't Get all of our people, let alone the thousands of SIV applicants out, and yet a few hours later...
The President of the United States went on TV and doubled down on the August 31st deadline, which is completely arbitrary, or let me rather say is solely intended to get us out before September 11th, 2021. And as we've discussed before, Hugh, whoever in the White House decided it would be a good idea to try and get everyone out by September 11th, 2021, and thinking that that would be some positive PR win for the United States.

But you were very important, and the great job that you did, you have a knowledge.
I heard the word strategist mentioned in the opening, that you were a strategist, and that's really what Biden needs.
He needs somebody to help him, because our country is embarrassed.
Our country has never been embarrassed like they are right now.
In the speech in Alabama where we had a massive crowd, they say 68,000 people showed up in the rain.
It was rain and thunder.
And we put up, I put up, I had the idea the morning of, this was Saturday, the morning of, put up the General Patton, the opening monologue that he does in the movie Patton, which I don't know if it got the Academy Award or very close.

Sitting in for Dennis today, Bob France, once again, from the home studio here in Cleveland, Ohio, AM 1420. The answer, and I want to begin our number two.
By welcoming Congressman Jim Jordan to the Dennis Prager Show.
Congressman Jordan is Ohio's 4th Congressional District Representative.
He is also the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee.
Okay, Congressman, let's dive into the issues here.
What we are hearing, and it's being denied by the State Department, but we are hearing from multiple sources.
When it comes to the Americans that have been abandoned, not just stranded.
I know Jen Psaki hates that word, stranded, so let's use a more accurate one.
Abandoned on direct command of the Commander-in-Chief who kept his August 31st and, in fact, upped it to August 30th timeline to get all Americans out.
We are being told that there have been planes ready to leave the runway with private contractors getting American citizens out and that they have been stopped by the State Department.
I cannot believe this.
I don't want to believe this, because now it's more than just a man, and now it's a refusal to allow them to be rescued, because it's not being done by the State Department, I guess.
What can you tell us?
Yeah, look, I don't know for sure, but just step back and ask me, what would common sense tell you?
Are you going to believe the administration that oversaw an evacuation where 13 service members lost their lives, where Americans were left, where allies were left, where billions of dollars of equipment, And weapons were left.
And some of the people they brought in, we know, weren't properly better.
Are you going to believe that administration, who called all that an extraordinary success?
Or are you going to believe Mike McCall, the ranking member in Congress, who was on Sunday, who said that he thinks exactly what you described is going on?
So I don't know for sure.
I'm like you.
But my gut tells me you probably believe Mike McCall, my colleague, over what this administration has told us, and particularly in how they have handled this whole situation.
What should we do?
What should be our policy now going forward as it pertains to getting these Americans out?
Now, I'll repeat, Chuck Schumer, in fact, you probably heard this, Chuck Schumer told a small group of reporters and constituents, I believe it was yesterday, that all Americans who wanted to get out have gotten out, thank God, or praise God.
And then he went on to say, what we should be concerned about is getting more of our Afghans out who were loyal to us.
Last time I checked this, The State Department is admitting to 100. Others who have been a part of rescuing Americans have said it's more like 500. Chuck Schumer says no Americans are stuck there right now.
The only ones who are there are the ones who want to be there.
Well, we know that's not accurate because we've had people, private sector people who have a military background, like Corey Mills, a guy I know and a friend who went over there.
One of the things we could do is quit hindering efforts like that.
What Corey's doing...
He's got some Americans out of the country, so quit making it tough on people like that who are doing the Lord's work.
That would be a step in the right direction.
Everyone knows what Chuck Schumer said is not accurate because we've had all kinds of reports from other Americans who say there are, in fact, Americans stranded, abandoned in Afghanistan.
So let's not hinder the folks who are risking their lives and are doing heroic work.
That would be step one.
And then State Department quit trying to take credit for it and actually just help those individuals who were doing the kind of work that Corey Mills is doing.
So policy-wise, what would be your prescription right now?
Lindsey Graham said on a program, again, I believe it was last night, that we're going to be going back in.
We're going to have to re-invade Afghanistan, if not just to rescue Americans, but to stop what we stopped back in October-November of 2001, and that is to stop the reconstitution of the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS-K, and some unholy alliance between them.
Do you think that'll be necessary?
Well, what will happen...
See, what I do know is we should be doing things to reassure our allies.
We should be, you know, making sure that folks around the world who are our friends and allies know that we're still the United States.
Now, it's going to be tough in light of what we've seen from this administration, but it's always tough when Democrats are in control.
I mean, I think we said this last week, you know, tell me when Democrats have done foreign policy right.
I mean, Carter gave us the Iran hostage situation.
Clinton was Mogadishu.
Obama was Benghazi in the Libya situation.
And, of course, now we have...
President Biden with this debacle that was the evacuation of Afghanistan.
So they never get it right.
And the people who were in charge for Libya and Benghazi, those same people are the ones running foreign policy in this administration.
I mean, it's Susan Rice.
It's Bill Burns.
It's Tony Blinken.
It's Wendy Sherman.
It's Jake Sullivan.
The exact same.
I deposed some of these people.
We deposed them when we were on the Benghazi Select Committee.
Jake Sullivan, Susan Rice, same people making the same crazy decisions.
You know, what we've got to try to do is reassure our allies, but it's going to be tough in light of what this administration has, how they've handled this entire situation in Afghanistan.
Two more questions on Afghanistan, and quite frankly, we could do more and we should do more, because Joe Biden wants nothing more than for us to turn the page and talk about climate change or anything else other than the stranded Americans, which is why we're going to focus on Afghanistan, because there are Americans in peril because of his direct command.
So here's the next one.
Back in 2014, I was on these Cleveland airwaves, and I said, we will rue the day.
We will pay a price.
It will become a day when we have serious regrets for Barack Obama's decision to trade for an American trader and deserter named Bo Bergdahl, five high-value Taliban detainees from Guantanamo Bay.
Here we are now.
It is September 8th, just three days before the anniversary of 9-11, and that day has come.
Four of the five are now leading the Taliban's resurgent, quote-unquote, government-slash-terror organization.
Barack Obama, you complained about it, too.
Barack Obama back then in 2014 said, no, no, no, no.
These people aren't going to be allowed to go back to Afghanistan.
We're releasing them to Qatar or another third country, and we trust that they'll stay there.
Did it really take a crystal ball for us to figure out this day was coming?
No.
I mean, look, you were a visionary.
You were prophetic, and you're seeing this in your assessment of it all, and it's come true, and it's a sad thing.
But, again, this is what happens when you have liberals in charge of foreign policy who think that, oh, because they're, quote, so smart, they don't have to project strength.
They don't have to project toughness.
They don't have to project confidence from the Oval Office and from their administration that everyone's just going to do what they want because they're the smartest people in the world.
I mean, the arrogance of these folks drives me nuts.
In fact, they said all kinds of bad things about President Trump.
But I'll tell you one thing about President Trump.
He projected confidence and strength from the Oval Office, and people around the world understood when he said something, he meant it.
And when Mike Pompeo said something, they knew he meant it.
And Mike Pompeo certainly didn't get treated like Tony Blinken did up in Anchorage.
A few months ago from his Chinese counterpart.
We never saw that in the Trump administration.
And that's the fundamental thing that's wrong with the foreign policy of the Biden administration.
And now we're seeing a playoff.
The same thing was wrong with Obama and why we got these four guys now, these four terrorists running the Taliban organization.
Four guys we had under control.
We had.
But no, no, no.
He trades them, and here they are running it.
Yeah, well, and four guys, five guys, quite frankly, that should have been executed.
Sorry, I didn't know that it was a bad thing to want to call for the death of terrorists.
These are the people who were responsible for the death of 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001. Why were we holding them in Gitmo anyway instead of disposing of them the way you're supposed to with human garbage?
One more question on Afghanistan.
Because of the chaos of the withdrawal slash evacuation, because they went ahead and removed the troops first, and then...
When the Taliban came surging in to take everything over, we had to hurry up and try to herd as many people as we could to into C-17 cargo planes as we could.
Now, the Biden administration is bragging about lifting 120,000 people out of there.
But 50,000 of them, at least, according to estimates from the experts, are Afghans who are unvetted.
And they have been flown not just to other countries, but to this country.
how do we vet tens of thousands of Afghans, some of whom may be American interpreters or family members loyal to us, but some of whom may be loyal to the Taliban?
How do we now vet them once they've already been released into the United States?
Bob, you mean you're telling me that they weren't all interpreters?
They weren't all people who helped us?
I mean, look, this is crazy.
But this is, again, it goes back to the start.
When you plan it so poorly...
When you say we're going to give up the Bagram Air Base and we're going to just have the one airport within, what, like a $4 million population, or a 4 million people population center, that's where we're going to stage all this.
When you make this many bad decisions, have so many of the troops leave while you're still trying to get Americans.
When you do it this wrong, of course you're not going to be able to properly vet people.
And then when you couple the fact that you aren't properly vetting a hundred and some thousand people who are coming from Afghanistan.
And you couple that with what's happened on our border the last six months, where month after month we set record levels of illegal crossing, so much so we had $212,000 in the month of July alone.
loan, when you put all that together, that is a recipe for all kinds of bad things that can happen to our homeland.
Jordan, I've got to interrupt right there so that we can take this hard break, but we've got a few more questions for you if you'll stick with us right here on the Dennis Prager Show about the incident.

They can't just decide what's best for you and me in the interest of quote-unquote public safety.
But this is where, Eric, the left wants to go.

Mr. President, the lying legacy media is supporting the Biden administration narrative that this is your plan.
This is what you would have done.
It is clear you've just communicated you had a conditions-based withdrawal plan you would have kept, Bagram.
What would you be doing right now if you were the commander-in-chief?
If one U.S. citizen were hurt in Afghanistan, what would your response be and how would you use our special forces?
Well, we're in a much worse position right now than we were.
When I had it, it was absolutely, we had it so locked down, we would have been able to leave so easily.
And so, I mean, it would have just been a beautiful process.
And then the only question was probably you bombed the bases, because why should we give those bases to others?
So we would bomb the hell out of the bases, the various bases other than Bagram, which we would have kept.
But if you think about it...
How can it be worse?
So now it's a much more difficult position because they have thousands of hostages, American hostages.
You know, Jimmy Carter had a small number of hostages.
Now they have thousands of American hostages, so it's much different.
I would absolutely have a plan, but I don't want to say what the plan is because I think it would be inappropriate.
But the idea that you would be taking orders from the Taliban like Joe Biden is?
Ridiculous, because I dealt with Abdul and everybody else, and we were totally in charge.
And they would have never come in.
They wouldn't have even tried to come into Kabul, even though Ghani, I always said he's a crook, 100% crooked, a bad leader, but a crooked guy.
And he had the United States Senate wrapped around his finger.
That was his only strength.

It's in theaters and on HBO Max for 31 days.
This Friday, rated PG-13 may be inappropriate for children under 13. Now, as we continue our conversation with Congressman Jim Jordan, Ohio's 4th Congressional District Representative.
Congressman, let's talk about American health.
Over the weekend, we saw tens of thousands of people, collectively hundreds of thousands, collectively probably maybe into the millions of college football fans attending college football super spreaders, according to the American left.
You tweeted with a photo of University of Wisconsin, Madison, your alma mater.
They were jam-packed.
And you tweeted, Real America is done with COVID-19.
God bless.
Joy Reid, over on MSNBC, decided to use that and declared that, I doubt God blesses anything that you stand for, Assistant Coach Jim.
I mean, here you are celebrating freedom, celebrating Americans not hiding in their rooms, in their bubbles, with their masks on, spraying spray all around them to keep every germ in the world away from them.
And she says, God doesn't bless what you stand for, Jim Jordan.
How do you respond?
Well, that's today's left.
I mean, today's left is so authoritarian.
They don't want to have any fun.
They don't believe in freedom like we're supposed to in this great country.
And, you know, I thought it was pretty cool.
You had the same reaction that Barstool Sports and Clay Travis had when he posted that bit.
But when you saw every stadium full, like the big game between Clemson and Georgia, Pack Stadium, no one had a mask on.
The game at Madison, they did to jump around at the start of the fourth quarter like they do.
I mean, it's like...
It was good to see, and I think so many Americans are truly saying, God bless America.
This is as apple pie as it gets.
That's a good thing.
Why not be happy?
It always gets me.
Why is the left always so angry?
They're always mad.
We live in America.
We live in the greatest country in the world.
In spite of Joe Biden, it's still the best country gone.
So why not celebrate, and particularly college football, which is as apple pie as it gets in this country.
I think you know the answer to that, sir.
I think you know the answer.
Why are they so unhappy and angry all the time?
Because that is American freedom on display.
Because that is American capitalism.
They don't believe in capitalism.
They don't believe in freedom and liberty.
They believe in doing what you're told.
They believe in controlling people.
And I don't think I'm being melodramatic here.
They believe in controlling the people.
And when they see the people breaking free of control and doing their own thing, it upsets them greatly.
Yep, it sure does.
And now we couple that with the fact that it's almost now, we're almost for sure that Fauci knew this thing came from a lab, and Fauci knew that was gain-of-function research that was going on in that lab, and they have been misleading us.
They have been misleading us for a year and a half.
We're almost sure now that that's the case.
But no, they continue to tell us that, oh, no, no, it didn't happen that way.
And I'm to the point now where I think, and so many Americans are, why would we believe anything Dr. Fauci tells us?
Why?
He's been wrong so many times, and he's misled us from the get-go.
We've talked on this show.
He got that email at 10.32 p.m.
on January 31st, 2020, a year and a half ago, that said virus looks engineered, virus not consistent with evolutionary theory, which is a nice way of saying this thing most likely came from a lab, and he's been misleading us ever since that day.
And meanwhile, he looked Rand Paul directly in the face and on national television during a congressional hearing and said, you don't know what you're talking about.
Said that I have never lied to the Senate or to the Congress.
I have never lied, and you don't know what you're talking about.
I want to know when is he going to apologize to Rand Paul, and second of all, most importantly, when is he going to tender his resignation as the chief epidemiologist or whatever his actual...
He's the highest paid federal government worker, more than the president of the...
The United States.
And he's been wrong every step of the way.
Yeah, highest paid.
He's got his own little fiefdom there.
Hands out your tax dollars, my tax dollars, your listeners' tax dollars, American tax money to all these virologists around the world.
They're the ones who's sending that email that night, one of them saying it looks engineered, not consistent with evolutionary theory.
Over the next 24 hours, he goes into overdrive to cover his backside and make sure they get their story straight.
So they tell the world that it didn't come from the lab, but no, no, it came from animals.
It came, as I said this morning, from a bat to a penguin to a hippopotamus, and then to people like, you've got to be kidding me.
No one buys that anymore because it just doesn't make good common sense.
But no, that's Fauci.
I saw you on Fox& Friends this morning.
You left out Joe Rogan.
Yeah, from a bat to a penguin to a hippopotamus to Joe Rogan.
The left went crazy on poor Joe Rogan.
I saw the Babylon Bee had a funny tweet.
They said, Rogan survives COVID. Somehow that's anti-science because Rogan survives COVID. It was what they've done to him.
It's ridiculous.
They've demonized.
They have demonized ivermectin just the way they did hydroxychloroquine.
And, you know, it's only now being revealed to people that ivermectin actually won the Nobel Prize in 2015, for crying out loud, for its incredible effectiveness in a variety of ways for humans.
And now it's being called by the left, it's horse dewormer.
That's it.
And if you take it, you're taking a horse dewormer.
That's what they said about Joe Rogan.
Congressman Jordan, thank you for the time.
I appreciate it.
Keep up the good work, sir.
All right.
We'll see you.
He is easily one of my favorite people to talk to.
And I talk to him every week on my local program in Cleveland, Ohio.
So for those who, you know, are not...
You probably do get enough of Jim Jordan because he is on television a lot.
He's the face, honestly, as the founder or co-founder, rather, with Mark Meadows of the...
Of the Freedom Caucus in the House, he is kind of one of the faces of the conservative movement, one of the staunchest supporters of America First, of former President Trump, and obviously of the truth.
And what he said, particularly about, you know, it's time for us to get past COVID-19.
We are done with it.
He's not just speaking out of frustration.
He's speaking out of true analysis, if you will.
And after a break, in the next segment, I'm going to play a clip from somebody that I wouldn't ordinarily feature on the Dennis Prager Show.
And that is Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who is the regular COVID expert, if you will, medical expert on CNN. And the reason I'm going to share him with you is it's a message that I'm going to want you to kind of think about, too, and call me with your answer to the question, and that is...
Are we going to be okay just accepting life with COVID-19?
Do you understand the meaning of the question?
You will, like I said, after I give you the clip.
But what Sanjay Gupta and others are talking about is there's going to come a point, very likely, where we have to recognize we're not going to, quote-unquote, get past COVID-19 and have it not be a part of our existence anymore.
It's going to be one of those viruses that lasts a very, very long time, maybe forever, in some variant or some later version thereof.
Just like influenza.
And at some point we're going to have to decide, do we just live with it and go about living our lives?
And some of us are going to get the flu and die?
Some of us are going to get the flu and not die.
When it comes to COVID-19, some of us are going to get COVID-19 and die, and some of us are going to get COVID-19 and not die.
Do we want to live our lives in a bubble, afraid of that particular reality, or are we going to live our lives the way they did at the college football games?

On the largesse of the Taliban to get our people out.
And I guarantee you, we're going to leave thousands of people behind.
And that's unacceptable for the United States of America.
Congressman Gallagher, I'd like to point to two lies.
The first lie is that we were obliged to leave by May 1. The Taliban broke the agreement at least as early as March when they attacked forward operating base Chapman and wounded seven Americans.
So they violated the agreement.
We're already beyond the May 1 deadline.
There is no agreement and there is no need to go.
Secondly, there's a terrorist threat.
Every American who's been in Afghanistan, including you, has been under a terrorist threat whenever they have been there.
We've got 6,000 of our finest Marines and the 101st Airborne.
I know.
I don't want any of them hurt either.
But what do you make of those two arguments that we've already extended the deadline and we're under a terrorist threat?
Well, of course, the Doha agreement was conditions-based, and one of the conditions was that the Taliban not allow al-Qaeda to operate from their territory.
And, of course, they did.
I believe even the UN pointed that out at one point.
And if you don't think that's true, then there's evidence in the form of the fact that we've killed al-Qaeda operatives on Afghanistan soil.

Talk to our millions of listeners across the country about your plans for Afghanistan, the conditions-based withdrawal, and what we have witnessed, the disaster we've witnessed in the last three weeks.
Maybe the greatest, most embarrassing disaster we've ever witnessed in our country.
The difference was almost—first of all, it was the opposite.
It was the exact opposite.
We knocked out ISIS. When I took in—when I took over, ISIS was all over the Middle East.
We knocked out 100 percent of the ISIS caliphate.
I notice now they call it ISIS-K, so you'll explain that.
But we knocked out 100 percent of the ISIS caliphate.
We took out al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS. Okay,
so let me drop this Sanjay Gupta on you, as I promised I would, because it's going to be kind of the lead to the question that I have for you.
And that is, how are you ready and willing to live?
Once again, if you just turned your radio on, it's Bob France sitting in for Dennis, live in the ReliefFactor.com studios of AM1420, The Answer in Cleveland, Ohio.
It's so good to be with you.
Thanks to Congressman Jim Jordan, who we had on last half hour.
But now we're talking about...
What kind of life you want to live?
Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the CNN COVID expert.
He's their lead medical guy.
Fine.
I don't like him.
I don't agree with a ton of what he has ever had to say.
But he is kind of, rather than being his typical liberal hysterical self about this, he is acknowledging that pandemic may only be here for a short while.
Endemic may be the endgame with COVID-19.
What does endemic mean?
Well, it means that it's here forever.
I want you to listen to this segment.
It's about two minutes long.
And then I want to take your calls on it.
877-243-7776.
That's 8 Prager 776. This is Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN. We also discussed, and I'm curious what you think about this, the idea...
At the end of the day, COVID-19 is not going away entirely, that it will become what's known as endemic as opposed to a pandemic or an outbreak that we live with as one of many diseases and infections.
And I wonder if you believe that's where it's going and how soon, I suppose, is the next question.
Yeah, well, look, you know, I have so many conversations with scientists all the time.
I was doing it all weekend, and invariably the conversation goes to this.
Are we in this endemic phase?
And many scientists believe we are probably there in the sense that this virus is here to stay.
Dr. Redfield even said in the spring of last year, he said this is likely to become an endemic virus just because it is so contagious.
Let me show you something I think may make the point.
Flu.
We talk about flu all the time.
Let's look at what flu does in any particular We're talking about flu.
Some of the flu viruses that are from the 1918 flu pandemic, the great, great, great descendants of some of those strains still circulate today.
Clearly an endemic virus.
The tough part of all this, I think, at some point, is going to be a conversation where we as a society, certainly we as a country, say, what are we willing to accept?
What are we willing to accept?
Are we willing to accept numbers like that, like flu?
Are they willing to accept higher?
Will we only accept lower once we actually sort of really sit back and think about it?
We know it's within our power to bring those numbers dramatically down with vaccines and masks and stuff like that.
But at some point as a country, we may just say, you know what?
We're willing to accept tens of thousands of people dying every year because of this, like we do with flu.
Less than half the country gets a flu shot every year, despite the fact that we have numbers like that.
So that's going to be, I think, the most difficult part of the conversation.
Less than half the country gets flu shots, even though we know that there are 45 million illnesses with flu every year.
Even though we know there are hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations with flu every year, and there are up to 60,000 deaths from flu every year.
We know that the vast majority of those who die of influenza are the very old or the very young.
They seem to be most susceptible to most of these strains of flu.
We also know that the flu isn't the same from year to year.
There's a new variant.
There's a new strain of it.
And they try to create flu shots or quote-unquote vaccinations against whatever they think the most popular variant is going to be.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn't.
We don't live our lives like house cats as a result of the flu.
Trapped in our houses, looking out the window like a house cat.
Watching life go by.
Saying there's too many chances of catching what could be fatal flu out there.
We don't do that.
We also don't strap muzzles on our children because there might be a dangerous flu out there.
We don't strap cloths to their faces.
We don't tell them to not smile and express themselves to one another that way.
We don't do it ourselves.
We don't mandate that people show their flu shot Card or passport in order to go into a restaurant or a movie or to get on board an airplane We just say we know flu is out there.
We know it's gonna hospitalize hundreds of thousands We know it's gonna kill tens of thousands and we are okay with that because that's life and our bodies adapt to it with antibodies That's what we have always done.
What are you prepared to do when it comes to COVID? Shall we accept it like flu, or shall we become house kids?
Why don't you tell me your thoughts?
877-240-H707. General McMaster and Secretary Esper are blaming you for the Doha agreement.
They're saying that you empowered them.
What do you make of these criticisms from General McMaster, who is your second national security advisor, and Secretary Esper?
Yeah.
These are two guys.
You know, I had great people in my administration, but those two were stiffs.
McMaster was not a smart guy.
All he liked doing was talking to the press.
And I rarely listened to him and then ultimately fired him.
And Jesper, I called him Jesper because all he did was say yes.
Jesper was like a little boy.
All he did was say yes.
No matter what you asked him, he was a lightweight and honestly should not have been in that position.
We were rushed because there was a difficulty with a good man who was in there prior to him.
He had some family difficulty.
And I gave Jesper a try and put him in there for a short period of time.
He didn't have what it takes.
The men and women, the people within the military, did not respect him.
And McMaster, all he did was like to write things and write books and complain, and he wasn't a smart person.
Just so you understand, they're complaining about the agreement that I just talked about with you, which had strong conditions.
The reason, as an example, I wanted to be out as soon as possible, but we had to get out strong with all our equipment and no death.
The reason nobody was killed in the last 18 months was because of what we did.
Beyond the agreement was because of the relationship I developed with the leaders, and in particular with Abdul.

Does the president have a sense that most of the criticism is not of leaving Afghanistan, it's the way that he has ordered it to happen, by pulling the troops before getting these Americans who are now stranded?
Does he have a sense of that?
First of all, I think it's irresponsible to say Americans are stranded.
They are not.
We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home.
We are in touch with them via phone, via text, via email, via any way that we can possibly reach Americans.

So what say you?
Sanjay Gupta says, and other, he said Dr. Redfield, who was the CDC director when President Trump was in charge.
Gupta said that this is very likely to become endemic, which means it's not a pandemic that will be here, sweep through, and then sweep out.
It'll be here forever like flu.
Gupta said that there are variants of the 1918 Spanish flu that still exist today.
Great, great descendants of that actual flu pandemic.
It's still here today.
It's endemic.
Flu is endemic.
It circulates.
It changes its strain, its variations, etc., etc.
So they're saying this is going to be the same thing here.
What do we do?
Do we continue to force people to reveal their vaccination status?
Force them to get vaccinated to keep their jobs?
To keep their place on campus?
To force them to give up their own medical privacy?
To wear face masks?
We don't do that for flu.
Flu is far more dangerous, particularly to children.
Kills far more children than COVID-19 ever has or could.
What are you willing to accept?
That was the question that they were asking on CNN of all places.
And I want to see what you think about it.
We're going to go to Alan in Tampa, Florida first.
Alan says he's a doctor.
And let's see what he has to say about this.
Alan, thanks for joining us on the Dennis Prager Show.
Go right ahead.
No problem, Mr. France.
I can tell you through personal history, I've had COVID twice.
I've been vaccinated, fully vaccinated.
I'm still in the healthcare industry and still providing care.
That being said, I also realize that the mortality rate associated with COVID-19 is pretty insignificant.
If you take the total number of deaths at this point, the total number of Americans in this population, I think it's somewhere around 0.04%.
The regular influenza virus is obviously more deadly to young and elderly, although there are certain subgroups of people with morbidities that are very susceptible to the COVID-19 process.
So we need to get on with our lives and learn to live with the virus.
That's my opinion.
You need to try to wash your hands, stay out of contaminated areas if possible, do the best you can to reduce the risk involved in your life.
But you have to live life.
You have to have football games.
You have to have baseball games.
You have to have parties.
You have to go about your business and accept the fact that every year there's going to be people that die from COVID. There's going to be people who get sick from COVID. And every year there'll be people that survive COVID. And we'll just keep marching on.
And that's how I think it needs to work.
Alan, I'm so glad that you identified yourself as a physician.
I agree with every word, and I'm not a doctor, and I try not to play one on the radio.
So to have somebody who kind of backs up and buttresses all the points that I'm trying to make is very, very reassuring.
So I appreciate that, and I appreciate your phone call, too.
Let's go next to Jim in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jim, it's Bob Fran sitting in Cleveland, Ohio.
I hope I'm not your enemy for that.
In for Dennis.
Go right ahead, sir.
Hello, my friend.
I want to tell you, I listen to Dennis every day, and yesterday, first of all, we'll get to the subject, but yesterday, we had a great show yesterday.
You made some points that made me stop and think they were terrific.
You did one hell of a job yesterday and today.
I heard that doctor just called.
Everything he said, we have to live with it, and as the years go on, our doctors will get better, our technology will get better, and it'll be not as serious.
10-15 years not come now as it is today because we'll have better knowledge of it.
I thank you for that.
Well, I thank you for your kind words, and I agree with you, sir.
You know, five years from now, they're probably going to have a better feel for what the new variant looks like, kind of like flu season.
And they're going to make those vaccinations or COVID shots, maybe they'll start calling them.
They don't call them flu vaccinations.
I think they, well, maybe they do.
Maybe sometimes they'll call them inoculations.
But essentially, we just call them flu shots.
If you want to get a flu shot this year, remember, as you know, there's no guarantee that that shot is actually going to be the one to stop whatever the strongest strain of flu is each year.
And that'll be the case with COVID.
And they'll make it available.
And you know what?
I'm glad it's available.
And I'm glad if you choose to take it.
I am not glad if you try to force it upon me, because I may not need it.
Now, that doctor said he's had it twice.
I've had it once.
Everyone in my family had it last November.
And I'm sorry, I do the antibody count.
I've had my antibodies counted nine months after infection, not three months after when they say natural immunity is going to wear off after a couple of months.
Nine months after my infection, I had an antibody count.
To give you perspective here, on the antibody test, which is a blood test.
This is a legitimate blood test.
It's not about blowing on some swab or anything of that nature.
It's a blood test.
The antibody count...
For being positive for having COVID-19 SARS-2 antibodies that will fight and combat other coronaviruses that come into your system.
You had to have a count of.8 or higher.
If you were at.7 or lower, you did not have active antibodies.
And again, I'm not trying to play doctor here.
I'm just telling you what the lab said.
All right?
.8 and higher is positive for the COVID antibodies to protect yourself against future potential infections.
My antibodies count was 1,442.
Alright?
I'm not making that up.
How would I pick a number like that out of thin air?
.08 is positive for COVID antibodies to fight off infection.
I had 1,442.
I'm a walking vaccine.
Don't tell me I have to be forced to take a Moderna or a Pfizer or Johnson& Johnson version that is a pale comparison to what God already gave me, which is the immune system to build up the antibodies to fight off any future potential recurrence here.
And that is what I think people need to understand.
That's why these shots have to be choices and not mandates.
Tony is in Spring, Texas.
Tony, I've got 30 seconds.
I want to give them to you.
Go right ahead.
Hi, thank you.
I'm actually home with COVID right now, but I'm taking ivermectin and all my vitamins, and I'm feeling pretty good.
Good for you.
That is a great point.
I'm sorry.
Continue.
These are your seconds.
Oh, sure thing.
I just want to say that it is my responsibility to take care of my health.
It's my responsibility to wash my hands and to eat right, to be as healthy as I can, not just for myself, but for my family and my community.
So it shouldn't be the government's job or anybody else's job to tell me how to handle my body.
You are smart and you are reasonable.
I wish you were a best friend.
Thank you.

This is the left and we've heard this so many times that the word is fluid for the Constitution.
Oh, it's fluid, it changes in meaning, so there's no real specific definition.
Well, that's not true.
The hallmark of our Constitution is not just separation of powers, but limited specific powers.
On the federal level, the Biden administration and the executive branch and even Congress are limited to the specific enumerated powers that are given in the United States Constitution.
Our 9th and 10th Amendment reserve all powers that are not enumerated to the states and to the people.
So that doesn't mean then that the states...
are just unlimited in their authority either.
And so the federal government has absolutely no authority to tell the states what to do with respect to vaccine mandates, with respect to, you know, any of these things that infringe upon our liberty and freedom.
We're no longer in a state of emergency.
The state legislatures can absolutely meet and they can determine Whether or not to implement some of these things, if they're even constitutional, and there's a lot of reasons that they're not.
But that is a specifically legislative designation.
So for these executive branch officials to say, hey, we're exercising our emergency authorization, we're going to force every individual to show a vaccine passport before they can take advantage and exercise their rights with respect to going into restaurants, gyms, hotels, I mean, all of these things.
This is a violation of the separation of powers.
Our government is not tyrannical.
They can't just decide what's best for you and me in the interest of, quote unquote, public safety.
But this is where, Eric, the left wants to go.

Okay, I'm not a flaming leftist, okay?
Okay.
But vaccines do not have an RRD next to them.
Masks do not have an RRD next to them.
I'm a pragmatist.
Whatever works should be embraced.
Okay.
Now, as far as mandates for vaccines, you have rightly said that somebody who has already gotten COVID already has a level of immunity that's equal or better than the vaccine.
And I agree that they should be given credit for not being forced to take a vaccine or anything like that.
For example, somebody going to school.
I mean college, something like that.
Okay.
I believe that the conservative movement has kind of made some missteps here as far as the anti-vaccine, anti-mask.
As far as vaccines concerned, every conservative out there should say, if you haven't had COVID, you haven't had a vaccine, please take a vaccine.
It's not mandated, but please.
Save your life.
Save the life from others.
It's because the COVID is about 10 times worse than the flu.
It's not equal to the flu.
So trying to minimize...
Not in terms, Jeff, of mortality rate.
Not even close.
It is not 10 times more lethal than the flu.
It is literally, and this is according to the CDC, and you just heard it from Congressman Jordan as well, it is literally less than one-half of 1% of people who are infected by COVID-19 who die from it.
Now, mind you, I say die from it, not die with it, not die of a heart attack or die of something else that they had and they had contracted COVID-19, and then they called it a COVID death.
Dying from it is a very, very, very, very almost insignificant number compared to the millions of people who actually get it.
So let's be fair about that.
Okay.
Okay.
Now, that's an argument that I've heard.
I don't believe it.
I argue against that.
Why would the CDC misstate that if they're pushing vaccines like you are, like you are right now?
No, no, no.
Let me say what's happening in San Diego.
Just give me a few very straight statistics.
The typical flu season, the maximum in the last 20 years has been 380 deaths.
In San Diego County, this year with COVID, we've had 3,800 deaths.
That's 10 times.
So people can put out whatever statistics and twist the statistics.
The mortality is about ten times.
Jeff, here's the thing, my friend.
I apologize.
I've got to go.
I've got the heartbreak here at the top of the hour, but I don't think the CDC would twist statistics.
that would actually counter their vaccine argument.
Thanks for the call.

American federal.com not one mistake trending now on the Larry Elder show I want you to understand that we're dealing with wokesters and the White House where the rest of the world is trying to build warriors Our American soldiers have no fault of their own.
No fault of their own.
Our leadership is...
We just have bad leadership.
It's as simple as that.
And our leadership is trying to build wokesters while the rest of the world is trying to build warriors because places like China, places like Russia, perhaps now even Afghanistan, obviously they don't have the resources to do so.
Do you really believe that the Biden administration We'll be able to fix the borders, perhaps even want to fix the borders.

I think this is a crisis that we haven't faced since 9-11.
In fact, some of the strongest statements pushing back on that came from my Democratic colleagues, particularly those who are veterans, who've served in Afghanistan and in uniform in other parts of the world, were very forceful in telling the administration to their face that this is a disaster.
And as we've discussed before, Hugh, whoever in the White House decided it would be a good idea to try and get everyone out by September 11th, 2021, and thinking that that would be some positive PR win for the United States.
should be fired because that's a huge, huge propaganda win for the Taliban.
And as far as I'm concerned, if I may, as a former insider, the key question is going to be personnel.
We need to build the bench that helps staff you and doesn't subvert you.
What are your plans?
What would the second term look like?
And who's going to build that bench for you, sir?
Well, first of all, for you listeners, you did a fantastic job.
You were terrific.
I deal with you a lot.
And I dealt with you after you went out and made a fortune.
I hope you're making a fortune anyway, but I think you are based on your ratings.
But I dealt with you a lot.
And that's why I do your show.
And I don't do a lot of other shows.
I do people that I respect and people that have been fair.
And you've been really I congratulate you.
But you were very important and a great job that you did.
You have a knowledge.
I heard the word strategist mentioned in the opening that you were a strategist.
And that's really what Biden needs.
He needs somebody to help him because our country is embarrassed.
And I think George E. Scott did get the Academy Award.
But we put up the opening monologue.
And I said, that is not a woke general, but it's a general that knows how to win.
And we have guys that are more interested in things that have nothing to do with our military.
It's really what's going on now is crazy.
With our whole country, with our whole country, what they're doing now to our country is absolutely frightening.

We'll come back to the idea of COVID-19 as an endemic, not as a pandemic, but it is going to be endemic.
It is going to be with us.
Essentially forever, in the same way that the flu is.
We just had a caller who said he thinks it's much, much worse than the flu, and unfortunately, the clock expired on us before I could ask him what does that mean to him.
Is he willing to live his life in a plastic bubble?
Is he willing for all of the population to wear masks over their faces?
We've never done it for flu!
We've never done any of those things for flu.
Are we going to be willing to do that if COVID-19 or some variation or variant of it is here to stay?
We'll get back to that conversation in a bit.
But for now, I want to talk about free speech.
We spend an awful lot of time talking about the outsized, disproportionate control of the flow of speech and information that resides in the hands of just a few powerful people in Silicon Valley.
Out in California, the creators, founders, moderators, CEOs, etc., of the largest social media organizations, including Zuckerberg at Facebook and Dorsey at Twitter, and you've got Google and you've got Amazon's servers run by Jeff Bezos, who controls who and what can use their servers, and on down the line.
Well, we're seeing another example of silencing, not just the silencing of a conservative voice in this case, But the silencing of a candidate's campaign.
Twitter has suspended the official press account of J.D. Vance, his campaign account.
J.D. Vance, you probably know, is the author of Hillbilly Elegy, and he is a candidate in the Ohio Senate race to replace Rob Portman.
While his personal account remains active, his campaign account is gone.
No warning, he said.
No explanation of what rules were allegedly broken.
But, as J.D. Vance said, this is what happens when we allow five companies to control what we're allowed to say.
And I would add to that quote, what we're allowed to hear.
Joining us now with reaction to this is a man who takes free speech very, very seriously.
Patrick Wood is the executive director and the founder of Citizens for Free Speech, which you can find online at citizensforfreespeech.org.
He founded this organization and this movement.
It's a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Founded it in 2018. It has never been more important than it is right now.
Patrick Wood, welcome back to The Dennis Prager Show.
How are you?
Patrick, can you hear me?
Patrick, can you hear me?
Yes, I can.
Okay, sorry about that.
A little glitch.
My apologies.
Okay, so Patrick Wood, we've talked at length.
You've written many articles.
You've done many videos.
You've done a lot of media on the death of free speech in America or the threat that it's under right now, largely from social media companies and big tech.
Technocrats and autocrats.
Now they're not just censoring the voices of people with whom they disagree, they're censoring the campaign accounts.
This almost rises to election interference.
If I'm being honest, what say you?
Well, it is election interference in a very real way.
You know, people might excuse Twitter for banning President Bush back in January.
He never got back on at all.
But he wasn't running for any election at that point.
So it wasn't election interference.
This is.
However, we need to state that Twitter did reverse his policy pretty quick on Vance.
And they gave a lame excuse that they believed his press account to be an impersonator.
In other words, a fake...
Vance account, and they nailed him, but my guess is they took a lot of heat really fast and figured, uh-oh, we're in big trouble here, and we better turn this baby around.
But whether they did or not...
For those who believe that, for those who believe...
That they just turned this around because they thought it was a fake account.
You probably believe the Taliban when they say, no, no, no, we're not going to sponsor any terror this time around.
We're brand new.
This is a brand new reformed Taliban.
I mean, come on.
They have been censoring conservative voices, including conservative candidates, for a very, very long time.
And now, like I said, they go right to a campaign account.
I agree with you, Patrick.
Clearly, they heard a massive pushback from Vance supporters and just free speech supporters.
Well, that's right.
And there are, of course, legal constraints on election interference.
I think they know that full well.
And I think they probably have an idea they'd better stay away from that if they want to keep out of legal trouble with states.
And, for instance, down in Florida, there's already an executive order on the books there that DeSantis put in that any legitimate candidate that gets banned by Twitter or Facebook is going to face a huge daily charge, whether they make a stick and court is another story.
But still, they're sounding off.
The fact that they could get away with this is just amazing to me in the first place.
And this is all done by artificial intelligence.
So I want to tell you, it's not some guy, some monkey sitting there, you know, with a finger on a button.
I'm going to nail that guy.
This is all by artificial intelligence.
The problem is artificial intelligence is designed by mankind.
It's not some kind of independent intelligence or program.
It's written by man, and it's going to reflect the biases of man.
And in this case, the programmers at Twitter that wrote the algorithm that nailed Vance, this simply just reflects their bias.
And you know what?
Most of this artificial intelligence stuff is just trash.
In my opinion, it's trash.
We see even cars, you know, like take Tesla, for instance, they're driving their cars with artificial intelligence.
They crash.
They burn.
The fire department can't put them out.
They sit there for six hours throwing water on the fire and they can't get it out.
And artificial intelligence is faulty.
It will always be faulty.
And these people, these knuckleheads at big tech companies, they think they are infallible and their program is so wonderful and never make mistakes.
Yet it does make mistakes, and it's mean-spirited when it cancels people outright, not just dance, but other people.
Many people have been cancelled from Twitter for saying the wrong word.
Whatever that trigger word is that triggers their algorithm to shut something down.
No, and the thing is here, maybe this is the cynic in me, Patrick Wood, of Citizens for Free Speech, but I don't know if I would even call it a mistake.
I would say that the program acted exactly as they wanted it to do.
They set their algorithms up to silence voices they don't like by using trigger words or phrases or titles that they know they want to limit the reach of.
I wouldn't even call it a mistake.
I don't think their machine, their AI, their algorithm malfunctioned here.
I think it worked perfectly.
But then they got hit with enough complaints.
Oh my gosh, how dare you do this?
They probably got threatened with a lawsuit from the Vance campaign saying you are now officially interfering with an election and a campaign that they had to say, oh, well, it was a mistake.
Our bad.
Here's what we thought happened.
I think it was working perfectly.
I do, too.
And, you know, this is a shot across the bow.
If nothing else, this is a shot across the bow for all the other political candidates around the country.
They're going through the same thing that Vance and his opponent are going through right now.
And, you know, Twitter just, it seems to me, they're just letting everybody know, hey, we're here.
We're watching you.
We're watching you.
Be careful what you say.
Be careful what you do.
And then you enter into self-censorship, where all of a sudden candidates are going to start toning it down.
Whatever they do want to say, they're just not going to say it because they don't want to get triggered on Twitter.
This could be a very clever employ to send a message to all the other conservative candidates in the country.
We're talking to Patrick Wood, the founder and executive director of Citizens for Free Speech, online at citizensforfreespeech.org.
Patrick, only a minute left in this segment, but we'll have another segment after this.
What does it say to you that this same organization with their algorithms, Twitter, does not allow Donald Trump to have a platform, does not allow him to have an account, but the Taliban?
The terrorist-sponsoring organization that led and trained and sponsored the 9-11 attacks on this country and now have routed the democracy seekers in Afghanistan and taken over that country.
They're allowed to communicate and coordinate online on Twitter.
Yes, they have, and they haven't done anything about it.
At least I haven't seen anything that they've done anything about it.
This is kind of reverse censorship, isn't it?
It's censoring the people that really have something to say, and people that are flat-out dangerous, it's allowing them to continue having a voice on Twitter.
And this is absolutely mean-spirited, in my opinion.
It's not just happenstance.
You know, you want to say maybe the artificial intelligence doesn't understand Arabic or something.
They don't know.
Because they've been called out on it, too, by a lot of people, including Trump supporters, saying, how dare you?
and they have stood by saying until they violate one of the rules on our platform, they get to stay.
Patrick Wood.
Yep.
Thank you.
Thank you.

This is the left, and we've heard this so many times, that the word is fluid for the Constitution Oh, it's fluid, it changes in meaning, so there's no real specific definition.
Well, that's not true.
The hallmark of our Constitution is not just separation of powers, but limited specific powers.
On the federal level, the Biden administration and the executive branch and even Congress are limited to the specific enumerated powers that are given in the United States Constitution.
Our Ninth and Tenth Amendment reserve all powers that are not enumerated to the states and to the people.
So that doesn't mean then that the states are just unlimited in their authority either.
And so the federal government has absolutely no authority to tell the states what to do with respect to that.
our liberty and freedom.
We're no longer in a state of emergency.
The state legislatures can absolutely meet and they can determine whether or not to implement some of these things if they're even constitutional.
And there's a lot of reasons that they're not, but that is a specifically legislative designation.
They can't just decide what's best for you and me in the interest of, quote-unquote, public safety.
But this is where, Eric, the left wants to go.

Mr. President, the lying legacy media is supporting the Biden administration narrative that this is your plan, this is what you would have done.
When I had it, it was absolutely—we had it so locked down, we would have been able to leave so easily.
And so, I mean, it would have just been a beautiful process.
And then the only question was probably you bombed the bases, because why should we give those bases to others?
So we would bomb the hell out of the bases, the various bases other than Bagram, which we would have kept.
But if you think about it— How can it be worse?

Patrick Wood is the Executive Director and the Founder of Citizens for Free Speech, an organization to which I belong, and full disclosure, with whom I am working.
I am the Director of the Ohio Chapter of Citizens for Free Speech and the National Communications Director as well, so many of the questions I'm about to ask Patrick Wood, I already know the answer to, but I want you to know.
Patrick, first of all, over 35,000, 36,000 strong and growing.
Tell us more about Citizens for Free Speech.
And also, since we've been talking about the censorship of these social media platforms, being a member and a volunteer with Citizens for Free Speech gives you access to a different type of social media, doesn't it?
Well, it does.
We're really focused on local activism across the country.
We're trying to promote local activism, to train people on how to be a good local activist, how to communicate, how to find out information that they need to know before they step into the civic arena.
And there's very few people doing this across the country, but we're convinced that if anything is going to be won back in this country, it has to start on a local basis.
So we're focusing on all kinds of tools to give to local activists to help in their own community.
And we do have a private social network of our own, believe it or not, and we can censor all we want.
If we want to keep the trolls out, we can just do that, and we do.
But it's only four people engaged in local activism.
We're not entertaining anybody else to join.
But you have to be a volunteer at Citizens for Free Speech in order to get into that platform, into that program.
Otherwise, we have, as you say, we're up to 36,000 members, I think, nationally.
It's growing rapidly.
And, you know, the big thing on our plate right now is censorship.
That's what we're talking about on this program today.
Censorship is the most existential threat we have in America today.
And we're looking to address that this next September 23rd with a national town hall.
It's going to be a live presentation, live performance.
People will be dialing in from all over the country.
Some of our volunteers are inviting people into the living rooms, et cetera, to have local groups watch the big screen.
And we're going to address some of these things head-on and get the discussion kick-started again on how can we deal with all the censorship stuff, especially on a local basis.
Yeah, I know I and everyone else working with you at Citizens for Free Speech are looking forward to the National Town Hall, and I'm sure a lot of people hearing about this for the first time would like to be a part of that, too.
Tell them how they can do so.
Well, all they have to do is just go to citizensforfreespeech.org, and the first banner that appears at the top of the screen, just click it.
It says National Town Hall.
Just click on it.
It'll take you to an RSVP page where you can put in your intention to attend, and we'll take it from there and keep you informed on how, when, where, why, and all that kind of stuff.
And all the details are there, though, basically, in the time of the day.
It's going to be September 23rd in the evening.
Be broadcast nationally, so we'll have time zones to account for, Pacific Coast to New York.
And it's going to be a great time.
We've got some great speakers lined up and presenters that are involved in the censorship issue in a huge way.
So it'll be something everybody should really participate in and find out, hey, what really is the story?
How can we fight back?
We've got to do something, Bob.
We can't just sit here and let these people whoop us to death.
Well, it's going to take courage.
And, Patrick, this is one of those questions that I already know the answer to, but I'm going to ask you as if I didn't because I want you to explain it to people.
Why is it that when I go to certain pages, online pages of Citizens for Free Speech, and in particular the local activist social media site that is available only to Citizens for Free Speech members and volunteers, Why do I see pictures of white roses everywhere?
What does that mean?
That's a good question.
We are promoting the cause of the white rose, which points back in history to 1942, where a couple of young students at university in Germany decided to stand up, as a matter of conscience, to stand up against the Nazi domination at that time and, you know, talk about free speech and talk about freedom and liberty.
And they did.
And it ended up costing their lives.
And it wasn't a really big movement at the time.
But the young lady that did it, she died when she was 21. She was executed.
Her name was Sophie Scholl.
She named the little movement The White Rose.
And you know what?
It was so successful.
Well, not by itself.
The sixth and last brochure, leaflet, that was passed out by these people was discovered by the Allies, the Allied forces, and got somehow smuggled into, I think, Great Britain.
And the Allies were so impressed by the sixth, the only one they had, they printed up millions of these things, Bob, and they airlifted them and dropped them over the entire nation of Germany.
And this was...
This was a call to resistance.
Now, Sophie, your brother, and all the other people were dead at that point because they'd all been tried and executed for who knows what spurious charges.
The Nazis didn't like them, obviously.
And you know what?
Sophie Scholl and her crowd, they speak down to us today through history.
We have to stand up against this stuff.
We have to have courage.
And her dying words, she went to the guillotine.
She said, how can we expect righteousness to prevail when there's hardly anyone willing to give themselves up individually to a righteous cause?
I'll tell you what, that just brings tears to your eyes.
And, you know, she knew she was going to die when she said that.
And, of course, everybody said, oh, we want righteousness to prevail in America.
Oh, we want to turn the hands back.
We want to, you know, we want to save America.
And then they sit there and turn the TV on.
There's something wrong with this picture.
People need to stand up and give themselves individually to a righteous cause.
If you think it's a righteous cause, now's the time to stand up.
It's just that simple.
So we're promoting the white.
I'm sorry.
I just want to follow up on that because we're short on time here.
But there is a movie.
I don't mind if people turn their TV on or their computer screen to watch the movie that you and almost all of us with Citizens for Free Speech have watched.
It's a 2005 film.
It's a German film, so it's got English subtitles.
I don't normally like to watch foreign films with English subtitles because it's annoying, but it is absolutely worth it in this case.
you'll learn what true courage and support of free speech and free expression and free ideals looks like in the face of one of the most sadistic regimes in human history.
And that's what's inspiring Citizens for Free Speech today.
So, Patrick, as we wrap this up, I want to remind people to go to citizensforfreespeech.org, become members, become volunteers, and join us for that National Town Hall on September 23rd.
Patrick Wood, founder and executive director, thank you so much for the time.
Thanks, Bob.

Our American soldiers have no fault of their own.
No fault of their own.
Our leadership is...
We just have bad leadership.
It's as simple as that.
And our leadership is trying to build wokesters while the rest of the world is trying to build warriors.
Because places like China, places like Russia, perhaps now even Afghanistan, obviously they don't have the resources to do so.
But these other places want to be number one, China specifically.
So while they're looking to build their militaries and to strengthen their militaries, we're looking to brainwash ours.
Do you really believe that the Biden administration...
We'll be able to fix the borders, perhaps even wants to fix the borders.

In fact, some of the strongest statements pushing back on that came from my Democratic colleagues, particularly those who are veterans, who've served in Afghanistan in a uniform in other parts of the world, were very forceful in.

For your show, Bob Brinson in Bob Brinson in for Dennis.
Just two more segments on the broadcast, and I welcome your calls at 8 Prager 776.
That's 877-243-7776 on any of the issues we've been discussing.
Or if you want to be a wild card, you can go off the board as well.
Apologies, by the way, if you've been watching the show on townhall.com or on the Dennis Prager site.
By way of the video feed, we had a little bit of a snafu there with our connection between Cleveland and Los Angeles as I come to you live.
From the rock hall capital of the world, the rock and roll capital of the world in Cleveland.
So apologies for that.
And before I go back to the phones, a reminder, please, at some point when you have a keyboard in front of you, not while you're driving, perhaps, or not perhaps, but certainly do not do that.
But perhaps when you have a chance and you're not driving, log on to citizensforfreespeech.org.
Citizensforfreespeech.org.
We need more members.
We need more activists.
We need more people interested in protecting and preserving the First Amendment.
Because it is under full attack every single day by the American left.
There is just no other way to say it.
Patrick Wood said last half hour that it's the most fundamental issue of our time, our loss of free speech, the loss of our right to say what we want and to have it be heard by whomever we want.
It was sacrosanct.
That's why it was the First Amendment put into the Constitution by our founding fathers, and it is under serious attack right now.
So please join us at citizensforfreespeech.org.
Become a member.
It's totally free.
It costs you nothing.
We won't share your information.
You will just join a nation of defenders of the First Amendment, and we need to do that right now.
Okay, we're going to go to who's been waiting the longest year?
I believe Debbie in Pasadena, California is up next.
Debbie, you're on the Dennis Prager Show.
Bob Fran sitting in.
Go right ahead.
Yes, hello, Bob.
Thank you for taking the call.
I would first like to express that I believe that the mask is a subliminal message to muzzle us and to silence us, which is completely effective.
So also regarding Governor Gruesome, I have 100% inside track.
He's going nowhere.
Hold on, hold on.
Did you just call him Governor Gavin Gruesome?
That is correct.
I must be late to the party.
I must be late to the party.
I did not know that was a moniker for him, but I love it.
That is outstanding.
I made that up last year in March of last year, and that's no joke.
And I also have Bruce Gender.
Bruce Gender, because Bruce Gender...
It's unfortunate because the guy, or whatever, no disrespect to him, his platform, it is not advised.
It's equivalent to not liking your nails and cutting off your hand.
He removed his private parts.
I don't think that that is someone who should be...
No, he didn't.
He absolutely did.
No, he didn't.
He didn't have the surgery.
He said he never intends to have that surgery.
He just dresses in the clothes and takes the...
I beg to differ.
The lady who's performed over 8,000 of them who was a former It's a man, and he's now a woman, and he performed the surgery.
And yes, we can look into that, but that's almost 100% certainty.
Okay, okay.
I remember an interview in which he said, you know, once he made his announcement that he wanted to be Caitlyn and he was going to wear the clothes and stuff, he said he did not want to ever have the surgery because he's not gay.
He still wanted to use his private parts.
So maybe that changed since I saw that interview.
That's okay.
It did, sir.
Yes, of course.
With 100% confirmed accuracy, it has been removed.
Now, here's the problem.
Larry Elder, bless his heart, he had a very good chance.
However, he lost the elder vote.
That same elder vote put the cadaver in the White House.
That elder vote was scared into voting for Biden.
And what has happened is his platform and his agenda was to remove masks and go back to some type of normalcy, which we absolutely do need, and I agree.
However, he lost the elder vote.
They are rushing to the polls to keep Governor Gruesomen for that exact reason.
Now, the one gentleman who is very, he's articulate, he's so knowledgeable, that's the Kevin Kiley gentleman.
He has an outstanding agenda, and he's just been pushed to the back.
But anybody's better than what we have, but unfortunately, he will remain because the Demo rats are in there cooking the books.
I don't feel confident for Larry because of the cheating and because of some other circumstances.
I will tell you this.
You gave me the best laugh I've had in a long time with Governor Grusome and with Bruce Gender.
And I'm told that our producer, Sean, has volunteered to jump right on this and do the research to find out whether or not Bruce Gender still has his Bruce parts or if he does not, or if he is now makeshift Caitlin parts.
So let us...
Oh, boy, you jumped on that fast, Sean.
Sean's got an answer for us.
He says it looks like he has had the surgery.
I didn't know.
I remember, and this shows you how much I pay attention to Bruce Jenner.
None at all, obviously.
When he first made the announcement that he wanted to be called Caitlyn and had the whole big to-do, he had said at the time he has no plans to have the...
Sexual reassignment surgery, in other words, to lop it off and replace it with some sort of clay creation.
He said he's never going to do that because he said he's not gay.
In one of this weird amalgamations of the LGBTQ alphabet, he's something to the effect of where he's a guy who thinks he's a woman, but he's a woman who's attracted to other women and still wanted to perhaps engage.
Let's phrase it that way.
Oh, okay.
So there you go.
Sean says that he has done it.
He told Diane Sawyer he did it.
So he changed his mind after making that original announcement.
So like I said, the surgery was a success.
He has no regrets and none whatsoever.
So he went all the way.
Okay, well, you know what?
He at least had the, well, he doesn't anymore to go through with it.
There are so many ways that I want to say this that I can't.
And I'm not even trying to be funny, nor am I trying to be rude or trying to be crude, but there are only so many ways you can describe this.
I will say this.
I have refused to change pronouns for males who dress as women and say, I'm a woman because I feel like one, and vice versa, and I will not do so with their names or anything else.
However, if you go all the way and have the surgery, and biologically, not biologically, but anatomically, you have taken that step a little bit closer.
We'll be back.
We'll be back.
This is the left and we've heard this so many times that the word is fluid.
For the Constitution.
Oh, it's fluid.
It changes in meaning.
So there's no real specific definition.
Well, that's not true.
The hallmark of our Constitution is not just separation of powers, but limited specific powers.
And so on the federal level, the Biden administration and the executive branch and even Congress are limited to the specific enumerated powers that are given in the United States Constitution.
or 9th and 10th amendment reserve all powers that are not enumerated to the states and to the people.
So that doesn't mean then that the states are just unlimited in their authority either.
And so the federal government has absolutely no authority to tell the states what to do with respect to vaccine mandates, with respect to any of these things that infringe upon our liberty and freedom.
We're no longer in a state of emergency.
The state legislatures can absolutely meet and they can determine whether or not to implement some of these things if there is Even constitutional, and there's a lot of reasons that they're not.
But that is a specifically legislative designation.
So for these executive branch officials to say, hey, we're exercising our emergency authorization, we're going to force every individual to show a vaccine passport before they can take advantage and exercise their rights with respect to going into restaurants, gyms, hotels, all of these things.
That is a violation of the separation of powers.
The government is not tyrannical.
They can't just decide what's best for you and me in the interest of, quote unquote, public safety.
But this is where, Eric, the left wants to go.
So we would bomb the hell out of the bases, the various bases other than Bagram, which we would have kept. which we would have kept.
How about that?
That's a good day.
I think it's a good day on the Dennis Prager Show.
I learned a couple of new names, and I'm going to remember them forever.
And I will probably refer to them in those ways forever.
Final segment of the Dennis Prager Show.
Bob France sitting in just a little while longer, and I really appreciate you being with us today.
I want to get another call here from Erie, Pennsylvania, a little bit close to where I am, only a couple of hours.
Ruthann, thank you for joining us.
Ruthann, go right ahead.
Hi.
I was notified yesterday by email that somebody in our ballroom dance group that teaches dance will not let me take the lessons because I haven't had the shot.
And the biggest disappointment on this lockdown for me was I loved to dance.
It was my only outlet when I took care of an elderly parent.
And I believe we were born to dance.
Celebration and ballroom dance is so elegant.
And I'm just really grieved that I have been dancing with these people for 30 years.
If I haven't made them sick by now, I hardly doubt if I'm going to start.
And I just see my freedoms taken away, you know, right up front and personal.
So tell me why you have chosen not to get the vaccine with them.
Because I watched Shot in the Dark by Dr. Sherry Tenpenny.
And it changes your DNA, and it's made from aborted babies.
And if the shot's so wonderful, why are we wearing masks, why are we distancing, and why do we need boosters?
I've had the measles shot, the chicken pox shot, the rubella, all those shots.
I never needed a mask, and I never needed a booster, and I don't see how people cannot have the common sense to see this.
And, what's that idiot's name?
The one that's our doctor.
Whatever his name is.
But he said back in February that it was going to get worse in September.
How does he know that?
Only God knows what's going to happen in September from February.
So I just have too much common sense to believe this.
We were all going to die from the mad cow disease, and poof, it went away.
And it went away because they were putting rapeseed in the cow feed, but nobody...
They just took it and made it sound like the world was ending.
Well, here's the question I would have, Ruthann, for your dance partners and your people in your dance group or club or troupe or whatever they're called.
I would ask them, are you all vaccinated?
And if you are, why do you care if I am?
The vaccine is supposed to be life-saving.
The vaccine is supposed to minimize symptoms.
So if you have it, and you have the vaccine, and Ruthann does not.
Why are you afraid to dance with Ruthann?
What's the worst that can happen?
She could give you something that you say won't hurt you because you have the vaccine.
Why are the vaccinated afraid of the unvaccinated if the vaccine, in fact, is effective?
And the reality is, it's not effective, which is why they're pushing boosters already.
And you better accept the fact that this is endemic and it's going to be with us forever.
How do you choose to live?
Free or like a house cat?
Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day today on the Dennis Prager Show.
I appreciate it.
My name is Bob Franson, Cleveland, Ohio.
