00:01:56
|
|
| Kabul poised to fall, is that correct? | |
| Is that what the Wall Street Journal is saying? | |
| Taliban seize Kandahar, prepare to march on Afghan capital, Kabul. | |
| There are times in my life where I realized I had absolutely no impact. | |
| There are times in my life I think I've had an impact. | |
| I had no impact on the Afghan decision. | |
| And I lament it. | |
| The it being, I lament what has happened, that I was right. | |
| The butchery that will take place because America withdrew from Afghanistan, which many conservatives are for. | |
| I believe, didn't President Trump want to do it? | |
| He didn't. | |
| He didn't, but he wanted to do it. | |
| I don't know if he would have, but in any event, I want to be intellectually honest. | |
| I don't care who's for it. | |
| They're wrong. | |
| The cost to the United States was minimal compared to the cost to the United States and specifically to Afghans, for whom I have a great deal of empathy. | |
| Great deal. | |
| It all began because the Soviet bastards invaded Afghanistan. | |
| Yep. | |
| How many people know that? | |
| Afghanistan was on its way to Western freedoms and Western culture. | |
| It's a very sophisticated people, except for the Muslim fundamentalists, who are so primitive that it gives primitive a bad name. | |
| Girls go to school, they should be murdered. | |
| And did we get our translators out? | |
| What does it say about America, if you help America and then they let you get tortured to death when they leave? | |
| I'm sorry to speak like this, truly sorry. | |
| We have to fix this country. | |
