[00:00:31]  The butchery that will take place because America withdrew from Afghanistan, which many conservatives are for.

[00:00:46]  I don't know if he would have, but in any event, I want to be intellectually honest.

[00:00:55]  The cost to the United States was minimal compared to the cost to the United States and specifically to Afghans, for whom I have a great deal of empathy.

[00:01:10]  It all began because the Soviet bastards invaded Afghanistan.

[00:01:19]  Afghanistan was on its way to Western freedoms and Western culture.
[00:01:25]  It's a very sophisticated people, except for the Muslim fundamentalists, who are so primitive that it gives primitive a bad name.

[00:01:42]  What does it say about America, if you help America and then they let you get tortured to death when they leave?
