Look at that.
Sean is not here today.
William is filling in for him.
He used to do my Saturday night shows here.
And he knows, even if Sean told him, I don't know, he didn't tell you, wow, you put on the song that makes me comfortable.
That was one of my specials when I used to do Saturday nights here at our local station.
So it just puts you in a comfort level.
What's the name of the song?
I even forgot the name of the song.
The sun.
You don't have to say it slowly.
Weezer, island in the sun.
Once you say it a little bit, I get it.
So it's Mark.
I'm back with you again, filling in for Dennis.
This is my 13th year of doing so.
I think I was getting a little nervous because I'm talking to the screener.
I'm talking to Christian, who does a great job, too.
And let's start the show.
That's how I used to do my local shows.
I used to say I could call it in.
That's almost a pun.
Anyway, it's always a special filling in for Dennis.
And you can follow me on Facebook at Mark Eisler.
Or write to me at markisler.com, M-A-R-K-I-S-L-E-R at AOL.com.
There's a lot I want to talk to you about today, and you can reach me at 1-8-Prager-776 to let me know your take.
After hearing a lecture by Dennis explaining why he feels the way he does on an important life issue, in simple but easy and important terms, most people forget to do it that way, I thought I would do the same with my basic political philosophy.
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, which made me a liberal by inheritance for no other reason that everyone else around me was also liberal by birthright.
That's what you did.
I don't think people questioned it.
You just were a Democrat and certainly liberal.
It was only when I grew into adulthood that I realized that liberalism and leftism doesn't make sense.
As a kid, You want to have a perfect world where everybody loves everyone and there's peace everywhere.
I guess epitomized by John Lennon's Give Peace a Chance.
Never a great song, but what does it keep repeating lines over and over again?
That's the idealism as a kid you have.
If you're a good person, you just want everybody to get along and everything to be great.
But when you grow up, you learn that there are genuinely evil people in the world.
And that government, as Ronald Reagan used to say, Is not the answer, but the problem.
It took a while to understand that after that inheritance growing up in New York.
We never thought about it.
We were never told otherwise.
In fact, that often divides conservatives from liberals.
The leftist idea of thinking people are born basically good allows you to blame society and everyone else and everything else when things don't turn out the way you wanted them to.
And you'd be more likely to want government to fix things.
I always think of single women voting bigger numbers for Democrats than married women do, because they want the government to take care of them.
But this country was founded on the idea of limited government.
After all, the founders had left tyrannical and oppressive governments, and they wanted to create a country that was ruled by the people and not by some faraway ruling class.
When I teach government, I try to get across that our two founding documents were the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Those documents were so important because they codified the belief in limited government and giving power to the people whenever possible.
Which leads us to where we are today.
I think, what did someone write to me, Mark?
How did the left take over?
I don't want to forget to answer that one.
How did this happen?
It happened mostly because of the schools.
They got indoctrinated there, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.
So, for the first time in history, the left has taken power in this country, even if illegally.
You know, I've been saying this on the air now for months, so you know I believe Donald Trump won, and convincingly at that, at least in the Electoral College.
But the left doesn't respect our founders, nor the Constitution they produced, no matter how many times they mouth the words.
They say, oh, it's in the Constitution when it is in their interest.
Otherwise, they want to overturn it or say it needs to evolve when that is in their interest.
They will say and do anything to get power.
We found that out, right?
This battle we're in now is for the soul of our country.
Or as Dennis says, we're in a civil war, even if not always violent.
Actually, when he first said that, I thought it was, you know, it's not violent.
Oh, maybe these days it is.
The battle.
Is whether we will continue to have limited government or just become another socialist or communist country, all of which have failed throughout history, which is embodied in the coronavirus shutdown battles.
Think about it.
Does government have a right to take away our civil liberties in the name of our health?
Do they have a right to close down businesses or mandate masks or vaccines for us to live our lives?
These are questions you have to ask yourself.
Do they have the right to change our election laws when the Constitution clearly states that the states determine their election law?
Remember Pennsylvania?
They totally, their Supreme Court, their states, whatever secretaries, you forget who did it after a while.
But only the states can change the election law.
But it didn't matter.
Do they get to use, this is the left, the Justice Department and FBI to close down legitimate debate and destroy their opponents?
This is new.
It's not always scary.
I mean, it's not only new.
I should emphasize the word scary.
Having government institutions choose sides in our political debates and prosecute those on the other side and do nothing about the breaking of laws by their political allies, right?
To add states to our union for political advantage, to pack the courts to get concurring opinions, to spy on their free speech opponents.
Did you see what?
They've done that with Tucker Carlson.
I don't think there's any doubt that they spy.
I think they even admitted it.
I forgot the reasons.
You know, this is all crazy.
I never believed this could happen.
To divide our children as they are doing with, as a teacher, boy do I know this one, as they are doing with critical race theory or the 1619 Project.
To produce a woke culture where people lose their jobs when they exercise their free speech rights.
Many foreigners coming to America from tyrannical countries can't believe what is happening here in America.
They ran away from it.
That's what they fled for in their native countries.
You probably don't need many more examples.
The left has taken over the reins of power, and they believe in as much government control as possible.
And I didn't mention the abrogation of our borders to allow unlimited entry for friend and foe alike.
The vaccinated or the unvaccinated, can you imagine that?
With COVID or without, who knows, and they don't seem to care.
We are watching the destruction of America unless we fight back.
So, let me know if you agree or disagree at 1A Prager 776. Specifically, a resident in the White House has gone far left.
I didn't think of that, but when I read it somewhere, I thought it was a great term.
William, have you heard that used about them?
Only about me.
I'm a resident here for this day.
God, he was good on my Saturday night show that way, too.
You never found that clip I wanted to play.
They don't have it anymore.
William used to introduce himself on the show.
But in any case, some people have called him the resident of the White House, and I think that's more than apt.
He has never had any real principles except getting power and influence.
And doubtless, he is one of the most corrupt residents in our history.
How did he and his family get rich on a government salary?
How did his son and other family members use influence to get such lucrative deals?
You've got to wonder.
How do the well-connected like the Clintons and Bidens get away with such corruption?
The founders never want the new kings and queens to rule over us in this new country.
And that goes for the Bush family, too.
This is not a partisan issue.
With over 330 million people, you would think we don't need family dynasties like the Bushes or Clintons or Kennedys to rule over us.
People were supposed to serve and then go home.
Not use the government to get power and influence and wealth.
So let's start with our resident of the White House who, after six months, has been worse than even I had ever imagined he would be.
He, or whoever is filling out his notes, you notice that, has gone far left.
Maybe it's the notes that are doing this.
From ending the pipeline to open borders to unbelievable spending, leftism has taken over.
At the rate they're going, America will be unrecognizable.
And this says nothing about foreign policy.
We have shown profound weakness.
And tyrants always fill a vacuum.
You know that.
Whether China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea.
Maybe all of them will fill this vacuum.
Good luck to America until we can replace all of this in 2024 or sooner.
Actually, you know my opinion.
As I said, we never lost this election.
There was huge fraud.
And by the way, once you're assigned, the fraud is how this administration is fighting any audits to see what really happened in the contested states.
As I said, Trump won overwhelmingly, and the American people lost.
Hopefully the truth will come out at some point.
But in the meantime, we must do everything we can to save our country.
Let me know what you think at 1-8-Prager-776.
Later on, you'll like this.
We're going to talk about saving our state.
When we talk about Larry Elder running for governor of California.
He's going to be on with me probably in the last hour.
Ah, the music again to calm me down.
Let me know what you think.
Mark Eisler filling in for Dennis Prager.
Trending now on the Mike Dilliger Show.
and then you want it to fit better.
So one of the ways you could do it, if you would like to, is put a cloth mask over, which actually here and here and here, where you could get leakage in, is much better contained.
Are you a double masker, Dr. Fauci?
Look like you are.
Now, Alicia, I think probably has a good reason.
To reject her doctor's explanation that that's the guy that we should all listen to.
Matt Taibbi, in this report, or his column that I saw at New York Post, said he writes, Politifact, which now basically exists to deflect criticism from the Biden administration, rated false the claim that Biden and Harris actually had reservations about the safety...
But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I'm not taking it.
Hmm.
Matt Taibbi says PolitiFact's excuse is that the then-candidates, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, were raising questions not about the vaccines themselves, but about then-President Donald Trump's rollout of the vaccines.
But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I'm not taking it.
Uh-huh.
PolitiFact said it's false to Kamala Harris.
Matt Taibbi says, wait a minute, PolitiFact says it's false.
What the hell does that mean?
That it's okay to have reservations, not just about the White House, but about the CDC, FDA, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and every other institution involved with the vaccine effort if you don't like or trust the president?
But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I'm not taking it.

Trending now on the Eric Metaxas show. - I mean, if you're going to censor yourself in deference to that power that's above you, that's telling you what you can and can't say, you know, then you are the joke.
You're not making jokes.
You are the joke.
Comedians, in our situation, what we look at is what we're doing.
We're often accused, we lately have been accused, of punching down.
We're punching back.
We're not punching down.
This is a situation where conservatives are literally on the ropes in the culture battle, and they're defending themselves against this top-down attack, this top-down tyranny from progressive ideology that's coming from celebrities, it's coming from corporations, it's coming from politicians.
We're not punching down.
We're punching back at that stuff.
So how big...
It's grown dramatically, but give us some numbers so we have a sense of where you've come from in the last four years.
Well, so in the last four years, I mean, we just reached, we've crossed the one million follower threshold on most of our social media.
You know what?
I believe I was the one million follower.
Were you?
And don't I get something?
You get something.
You get like a million, what is the currency in Venezuela?
Zloty?
No, that's another country.
Yeah.
It's worth almost nothing.
I think you get 30 cents.
But you know what?
That's better than nothing.
It's almost nothing, but it's not nothing.
A million followers on Twitter, a million followers on Instagram, a million followers on Facebook.
Oh, on all these platforms.
Yeah, on each of them.
But here's the thing.
That million is worth more than the normal million.
What I mean is...
Anybody who appreciates the humor of the Babylon Bee has to be sophisticated because it is brilliant humor.
It's not broad.
It's not stupid humor.
It's brilliant humor.
You have to be aware of who you're making fun of and whatever.
The funniest thing I ever go for the low-hanging dumb jokes.
This insane reversal.
We've been told by Biden, by Fauci, if you're vaccinated, you don't need a month.
PragerU.
And all the good work of his terrific team.
Go to PragerU.com or call 833-PRAGERU. And let me tell you something.
The other part of my life is teaching.
And I'll go some places and they may have heard of me, whatever, and they'll start talking.
And you wouldn't believe the reach of PragerU.
And when I'm saying students, we're talking about people that are not necessarily liberal.
It is making such a huge difference, you can't imagine.
We need those outlets.
There's no doubt, because the left has got everything else.
So you've got to support PragerU.
It is making a huge difference.
And let's see.
I think it's in New York, but I don't recognize the town, even though I'm from there.
It must be upstate.
What is that, Van Effen or something?
Hi, John.
You're on with Mark.
Hi, Mark.
What's the name of your town?
It's Van Etten.
Oh, Van Etten.
It's a small upstate New York town.
And the issue I'd like to talk about is how everyone, I hear it 100,000 times a day, get vaccinated, it's safe, and it's become a political issue here.
People up here seem to think that if you're not vaccinated, you're a Republican, and if you're vaccinated, you're a Democrat.
And I will never get vaccinated myself, and it has nothing to do with my politics.
I have a friend.
And I'll use his first name, Tom.
And this guy was in excellent physical health, and he walked a minimum of 10 miles a day.
He walked a couple of thousand miles on the Appalachian Trail last year.
And a short time, a few days after he got the Johnson& Johnson vaccine, he woke up paralyzed from the neck down.
He was in the hospital in Syracuse for three and a half months and diagnosed with Bell's palsy.
And I'm not a doctor.
I can't say that it was 100% the Johnson& Johnson vaccine that did it, but it seems to me like it's more than just a coincidence.
And he's going through hell.
And I don't know that he'll ever walk again.
Yeah, I've heard these stories.
It's obviously somewhat discouraging.
The other side says, well, it's such a small percentage.
And of course, labeling people politically, that's ridiculous.
You still have choice in this country.
I don't argue that.
By the way, you might appreciate this story.
I was waiting forever for the Johnson& Johnson vaccine to come out because of that one shot, less chance for side effects.
And this went on for a while, waiting for it to come out here.
So this was months ago, right?
And then I heard...
From one of my doctors and also family members.
I said, wait a second.
They say Johnson& Johnson prevents severe illness, but does severe illness include lack of loss of smell and taste?
And I said, no.
And another doctor, too, a friend of mine, Dr. Levin, said, no, that's not part of it.
Oh, so I could still lose a sense of taste and, what did I say, taste and smell.
And that's not, it doesn't prevent?
I said, no.
I said, oh, there goes Johnson & Johnson.
So I'm with you with checking these things out, right?
We don't know for sure what's really scarce.
We don't know what's going to happen in six months, a year.
Not only that, Mark, but, you know, my point, I guess, in this call is that I never hear anything.
about the side effects.
Not a thing.
And I called up the local paper.
I don't know if you're familiar with it.
The Owego Penny Saver, and they have a Reader's Right column, and you can call in.
And three weeks in a row, I called in just to warn people that one of the side effects might be Bell's Palsy.
I had heard that there was like 37 other incidents.
I think I did hear that's a side effect.
You know, and it doesn't matter to me.
If you tell me, oh, it's only one in three million, well, I'm going to tell you something.
The one that gets it, them numbers don't.
That's correct.
That's correct.
It's a tough one because one of the news topics I want to discuss later on in the show is we can't believe these people anymore anywhere, right?
They've been all over the place.
That's the bottom line.
Yeah, who knows what to do?
I actually, with Dennis, I think I'm going to take the ivermectin before I take a third booster shot.
Because you do hear young people heart problems.
You didn't even mention that, right?
By the way, I've got to say this.
Are you going to be insulted if I never heard of the Oswego whatever?
Oswego is a different place.
No, I'm not insulted.
No, I don't mean the city.
I meant the newspaper.
I'm with you politically 100%, and I bought a place out of this state.
I can't move out of here fast enough.
Yeah, we have the same problem here.
We have the same problem in California.
So this is a tough...
I lived in San Diego for five years.
I understand.
You've been running away.
Well, I am.
I'm running away from insanity.
That makes sense.
At our local synagogue, we had a great family leave for Texas.
And I was talking about the left, so let's get back there.
And thanks for your call.
He said, I saw this in the Soviet Union or Russia, whatever he said.
And he and his wife are such good people.
They said, I'm getting out of here.
Maybe there's more hope in Texas.
That's what the left has done.
Because you can do everything you want.
As I said, you can run, but you can't hide.
It's gone all over the country if we don't put a stop to this.
Let's go to Jim.
I think we have time.
Jim in Chicago, you're on with Mark.
Hey, Mark.
Hi, Jim.
Hi, great show, buddy.
Thank you.
All I can say is I just tuned in.
I was tuned a little late.
And you said if you think that America is being dismantled, we're in the process of that right now.
And all I can do is tell the people like you and me to just keep spreading the word because some people can't see it.
And it's a very scary thing what's going on right now, in my opinion.
Maybe I should go back to what I started to say quickly.
I just looked at some emails this morning.
One of the ladies wrote and said, Mark, how did this all start?
Now it can take a little more time.
Bill Ayers had said, Obama's, I don't know, what do I want to say, mentor in some ways, said many, many years ago that if we could take over the schools, we could kind of take over the society, and I'm paraphrasing.
But they did.
They took over the schools.
If I had to point to one thing besides the media, of course, but they are a product of the schools also.
I would say it's the school systems, where if they could take it over, they could produce the next generations learning that America was evil, the critical race theory, the 1619 Project.
They know that if they could indoctrinate these students, they would take over the society.
So that's where it started.
That's why, PragerU, I could fit that in, and maybe pulling your kids out of public school, and I'm a public school teacher, although I teach adults.
And they don't know who I am.
It's a good thing I keep my job because they don't listen to our side.
I've said that a lot.
That's the only reason I keep it, although I'm pretty good at what I do.
That's where we train or at least allow future generations to learn how great America is.
Learn about our history and what made this country so special.
They never learn that!
So, Jim, you are right.
We have to spread the word and we have to do it in every way possible to turn this country around.
This is it.
Well, there's no question, and I couldn't agree more with you.
The school system, I thought it was a great idea.
Get the kids out of the public school system, homeschool them.
Charter, private, whatever works, right?
Take the country back.
Absolutely.
Thanks for your call.
And we're talking about, eh, this is the day.
We've got a country to save, as Larry would say.
We've got to take our country back.
Let me know what you think.

Don't you get tired of commercials screaming at you to buy gold now with inflated promises on future values and In an unregulated industry, you need honest, real experts to give you solid advice to protect your wealth and top picks on the best coins in bullion based on real-time data and historical trends.
For example, as environmental policy becomes a hot topic, one precious metal that's been significantly undervalued for years is potentially set to surge.
Nick Grovich, owner of AmFedCoin and Bullion, has long recommended this precious metal.
Up to 600,000 ounces of this rare metal will be needed by 2030 to produce green hydrogen.
Nick is doubling down on this pick, and you should too.

Turning now on The Charlie Kirk Show.
Well, according to the CDC's own documents, right here.
Thank you.
Barnes Stable, or is it Barnes Stable?
Whatever.
County, Massachusetts.
Outbreak.
In all bold.
No difference in mean CT values in unvaccinated and vaccinated cases.
In fact, the vaccinated cases were 0.4% higher.
That's the CDC's own data.
That vaccinated Americans in Massachusetts, and this is, I'm just reading from the document, in Barnstable County, that the median among vaccinated was N equals 80. I'm not sure what that value represents.
But 21.9, unvaccinated N equals 65, 21.5.
I'm guessing that's how many people they were testing.
I need to go look at the, what the values represent.
It says here that risk of infection, reinfection with the Delta variant may be higher, compelled to the Alpha variant, but only if prior infection is 180 days earlier.
It says this, that the Delta variant may cause more severe disease than the Alpha or the ancestral strains.
So they're already going to now mandate indoor mask mandates.
And in fact, certain sources that cover the White House very well, including Jack Pasebic, who has been wrong about almost nothing with his sources, say that lockdowns are coming to blue states in the next couple of weeks.

Democrats have doubled down on radical indoctrination in schools with their embrace of critical race theory.
School boards and teachers unions have rushed to implement CRT into their curricula, in some cases while avoiding parental notification.
Even as these education leaders refuse to reopen schools to children, they now plan to use their near monopoly on education to push this highly controversial ideology.
It's already begun to backfire.
Parents have begun demanding answers from school boards and campaigned to unseat their members.
Political reports that even Democratic voters are repelled by these plans and that the radical efforts have fired up independent and conservative.
Music Mark Eisner, sitting in for Dennis Prager and always a pleasure to do so.
We'll take your calls in a little bit.
I just want to finish some thoughts.
1-8-Prager-776.
On the national level, this is always disconcerting.
It doesn't help when we have Weasley Republicans who support massive amounts of increased spending.
If you've been following...
The infrastructure bill, which I don't know how many Republicans signed on for that.
That's outrageous.
They don't get the idea about limited government.
Oh, and they say, well, signing on because this will prevent the bigger bill yet to come.
I mean, that's not what we send you there for.
And our children and grandchildren will have to pay for that.
Or worse, turncoat Republicans like Liz Cheney.
And Adam Kinzinger.
You wonder if they do this for the publicity, right?
Like Kinzinger.
He's an unknown congressman.
But now they join the Pelosi-corrupted commission meant to destroy our movement, right?
The commission on 1-6 or whatever it was.
Do you believe there are still people who think that the officer was hit by a fire extinguisher?
That's the old...
If you tell a lie often enough, people start to believe it.
It's unbelievable.
Or don't know that some police officers waved them in.
Or FBI collaborators, Tucker's done a good job on this, may have urged the crowd on.
Or that Trump supporter Ashley Babbitt was killed by an officer who still remains anonymous.
Why is that true?
Or that some of these protesters still sit in jail, even in solitary confinement.
Can you imagine that?
These are a bunch, I'm not condoning it in any way.
They didn't come in with guns, you know, or bombs or anything like that.
While the American people still can't see thousands of hours of videotape showing what will really happen.
That is what this commission should be investigating.
But they won't, right?
McCarthy, I'm not in love with McCarthy, but he appointed Jim Jordan.
I forget the other guy's name.
And, of course, Nancy Pelosi would want them on because she doesn't want the truth to come out.
But you have Kinzinger and Liz Cheney.
Oh, there's a piece of work.
Liz Cheney.
I mean, condemning Trump from the beginning.
I have no use for these people.
You know, they let their hatred get in the way of what's best for this country.
It's clearly a show trial to damage President Trump.
And those who really did destruction, like BLM and Antifa, will never be investigated.
You know that.
I mean, this is what's so discouraging, to believe that this country is turned into where the left is taking power and prosecuting their enemies.
We might as well be a banana republic.
Worse, it may not just be that.
It could be a tyranny headed towards socialism or communism.
That's why I say people coming from other countries think, well, I left this.
What is taking place in America?
This is what you get, by the way, when you voted against President Trump's tweets, for those people who did that.
You didn't want Trump to win, so America lost.
And we have Republicans, I didn't mention Mitt Romney.
You've probably heard me say this over the years.
I was a delegate for him.
Well, his wife waved at me.
That really was exciting.
Nice-looking woman.
I sound chauvinistic or whatever.
No, I'm just saying that I was a delegate for him.
And he went off the deep end because another one with no principles or no values.
He just wants the title.
He wants the job.
He wants to go to the Hollywood parties.
And Mitch McConnell, another real loser, wants to be part of the Washington establishment who will sell us out of the drop of a hat to keep their privileges.
I told a story, I think, when I was on for Larry last or Dennis last, I don't remember who.
Did you know that we had the chairmanships of all the Senate committees and the Senate went to a 50-50 tie?
So theoretically, if he was a fighter like we want him to be, like the Democrats are, he didn't have to relinquish that.
He relinquished that in a deal with Schumer.
And the deal was that they wouldn't end the filibuster that Manchin and Sinema of Arizona Would never vote to end the filibuster.
He made a deal with them.
You trust these people when the country's at stake?
That's Mitch McConnell.
That guy's got to go.
And even McCarthy's got to go.
I know a lot of people out here in California especially like him.
Now I want some fighters.
I want some people to understand that this is for the soul of the country.
So you have those guys too.
So how do you see it?
Is the American experiment over, as the previous caller kind of alluded to, and he's going to fight?
Is the left here to stay?
You've got to let me know what you think at 1-8-Prager-776, and when we come back, I am going to take some more of your calls.
I have never, I'm both, I want you on both sides, I've never been so discouraged what's happened, but I never give up on America.
How could you?
With all those people who died for us, gave up their lives, or just got injured, or served for us.
I mean, this was the special place on Earth.
We can't let it go.
So you can never give up.
You can be discouraged, and then every day is a new day, and you keep on fighting.
Let me know what you think.
Thank 1A Prager 776.
I'm Mark Eisler sitting in for Dennis Prager.

And I know so many people who are resistant to the vaccine.
It's just a fact of life.
And there are people in all walks of life.
White people, black people, Hispanic people, members of the military, the healthcare profession.
You know how many nurses and, dare I say, doctors?
Physicians assistants?
Unwilling to get the vaccine?
It's more than a little.
So what do we do with them?
What do we do with those people?
In fact, that's been one of the most unreported stories of the whole crisis of this pandemic.
healthcare workers who are unvaccinated.

Steven, let's pretend like you were president for a day.
What do we do to get this economy back in shape?
So the first thing we do is we actually do exactly the...
Think of everything Biden has done and do exactly the opposite.
And I'm not kidding, Paul.
I mean, we do exactly the opposite of what Biden is doing.
You know, we don't need...
We need to be, after a crisis is over, and COVID is basically over now, thanks to Trump and the vaccine, usually after World War II or after the Cold War, we actually cut spending.
We need to be aggressively cutting government spending.
By the way, government spending, you know this, Carl.
Where did this crazy idea come from that government spending stimulates?
All that government spending stimulates is government.
Let me put it very simply, because this is really important.
I know you know this as a businessman.
The only way that the government can give you $1,000 is to take $1,000 away from me, right?
It's a zero-sum game.
And all we're doing is taking money away from producers and giving it to people who don't produce.
That's that formula for disaster.
You know what?
It's so funny that you mention that.
I talk about that often on my show.
And one of the things, it's frustrating to hear Biden talk about it, but it's even more, it's scary to me.
That people believe it.
That there's such a lack of understanding when it comes to economics.
It completely baffles me.
It completely scares me that he could say the things that he says about inflation and just completely get away with it.
Now think about somebody like Joe Biden.
What has Joe Biden done in his life?
Well, he's never had a job.
I mean, he's been in government his whole life.

And the whole point of it was to do comedy from a Christian conservative perspective that wasn't cheesy.
That didn't make us the joke.
Isn't it funny that we always have to start there?
It's really brilliant, but it's not cheesy.
Like we're making films, but it's not cheesy.
It's a TV program, but it's not cheesy.
And it is an amazing thing.
I said it.
It reminds me of I was doing a TV show many years ago.
I had my own local show in Los Angeles, and the person giving me the cue showed me two minutes.
So I did two minutes, and I kind of wrapped it up.
And then I wrapped it up, and he showed me another two minutes.
I thought, okay, I could be flexible.
This is all part of the inside stuff to radio, which it's always a lot of fun to do this stuff.
Let's go to your calls, as I said I would.
Let's go to Alex in Los Angeles.
Alex, you're on with Mark.
Hi, Mark.
Thanks for taking my call.
First, just to establish who I am, I identify as liberal.
I am also a Zionist.
I don't agree with the policies of the squad, and frankly, I think maybe a little bit less of the rhetoric is exactly what this country needs.
The reason I'm calling is because of the discussion about vaccines and just the inane nature of what personal responsibility seems to mean right now among the entire right.
Because I understand 100% the argument that people can take personal responsibility for themselves.
What I don't see is them actually doing that.
And to me, at this point, it seems to me that not doing the research and reading up and actually investigating things for yourself is the antithesis of personal responsibility.
And it goes along with just about every other platform that you have been standing for and which the Republican Party can't even seem to put onto paper because there is no party platform.
So I'm a little curious to you where personal responsibility comes in in actual action as opposed to just words.
First of all, I don't know people who ever read these party platforms.
I've been an activist.
Excuse me, there is no Republican Party platform.
There is officially every four years at the convention.
There is not.
Excuse me, there was not released a Republican Party platform.
It doesn't matter.
That wasn't my point.
My point is no one ever looked at it anyway.
It's meaningless.
So you get it right from the representatives and the people who are in office, right, who represent us.
That's why I pick on my own.
You know, from the Romneys to Liz Cheney and so on.
But in terms of vaccines, I think I'm being very consistent.
I think everybody has the right to make that decision for themselves.
There are people who don't want to take other vaccines, right?
But the schools have a right and interest, I think, is where you're going to say, hey, every kid's got to take the diphtheria vaccine or this vaccine or that.
I get it.
Let me just finish.
I'll give you a chance.
Let me finish.
So there are always kinds of competing interests, and people could come down on different sides.
Go ahead.
I understand what you're saying.
Completely.
And I agree that getting a vaccine is a choice.
If I dyed my hair blue and wasn't hired for a job, then that's my own choice.
Why is it that choosing to not get a vaccine does not preclude you from the choices the rest of society makes?
If we as a society agree that you can transmit a deadly disease and you decide you don't want to, to me that tells me, okay, I don't want to be a part of society.
I'm going to ride this out at home until I'm six.
I'm fine with that decision.
Would you endorse that?
Yeah, people can do what they want.
I agree.
I even said to you, but you come into school, right, or a public place, Dennis says the same thing.
I don't believe these vaccines.
The masks really work, but I wear the mask where you want me to wear the mask.
I get it.
Is there a reason you don't believe that?
Yeah, because the CDC and Fauci has been all over the place.
He said March of 2020, I think I got the month right.
Masks don't do any good.
Then I went to one mask.
He even said at one point, I think said two is better, three is better.
They've been all over the place.
I don't know about you, but it's a very good call.
Give me a chance, Alex.
But the evidence has been all over.
What's his name?
Berenson.
I think Tucker has him on a lot.
Who used to write for the New York Times in the right-wing paper.
Said the masks don't work.
He says them emphatically.
I don't know if he's right, but it's clear that this dispute about whether...
And by the way, you're very good, Alex.
How do you feel about people who get to do what they want?
In their own car, wearing a mask.
Do you find that ludicrous at all?
I'm sorry.
I do find it ludicrous that people...
I mean, I understand what you're saying, but sometimes it's hard to find accurate information, Mark.
And I understand that people are busy.
And they're busy, of course, too.
But the fact is, there's information out there.
And I do understand that at one point Fauci said something, and then maybe he changed, and the CDC goes back and forth.
But I think we can all be intellectually honest with ourselves.
And realize that sometimes science changes, sometimes we have more evidence, and that doesn't mean that we should throw out everything that's said.
That means we should take a look at it with a critical eye, doesn't it?
Yeah, and I think I am.
I think if you're...
And you sound very good.
I've been saying that twice now, so you're a good caller.
And I used to have a show with two Democrats and two Republicans, and we kind of did this stuff very professionally.
Think about it.
The cloth masks are really in dispute, because you can get things through there.
It doesn't hold out the virus.
I think that's pretty clear.
Maybe, what is it, the N95s?
They may work better.
And, you know, the nurses and doctors wear them sometimes, I guess, or all the time.
But this real dispute about the mask, so we can wear it, we don't need to wear it?
Yeah, go ahead.
Mark, respectfully, I don't think there's a real dispute.
There's a distortion of facts and a rewriting of things, just like you're rewriting also January 6th.
I am?
And frankly, yes, absolutely.
That's a different topic, but you're good enough.
Stay on the mask thing.
Actually, you're so good.
What do you want to say about January 6th, that I got that wrong too?
It's not so much that you've got it wrong, but frankly, I find the lie that you're telling your listeners is dangerous.
Which one?
I'm a Jew.
You're a Jewish person.
Tell me which one.
What did I say about January 6th that wasn't true?
I'm sorry?
What did I say about January 6th that wasn't true?
I can list off quite a few things.
Number one, they weren't on.
It's factually untrue.
Just the fact that you're calling them protesters shocks me.
I mean, these are insurrectionists.
That was a...
They weren't trying to take over the government.
- Weren't they a bunch of kooks? - If Black Lives Matter had stormed the Capitol, and I know this is the argument frequently, if Black Lives Matter had been there that day, they would have stormed the Capitol too.
I think they were there a little bit.
I think you're going to think I'm crazy.
I think they were involved a little bit.
What did you think of Tucker's expose on FBI informants maybe being a part of this in some way?
Yes, that's another good topic to bring up.
That's factual and accurate as well, because it is illegal to list FBI informants.
I guess we'll find out over a period of time.
We've got to go, Alex.
No, Mark, that's just a lie.
Mark, that's just a lie.
Alex, Alex.

Robert in Marin County, California.
You're on with Mark.
How's it going?
Yeah, so I've been listening for a while.
You know, it's just interesting that I kind of caught that bit of that conversation about masks.
And I just feel like you're going to need to take a step back and look at the beginning and what the data we have, which we're talking about cases.
If you, in fact, believe the number of cases and the number of deaths are being reported around the world and the percentages of those based on those who have actually had COVID.
And you really look at those numbers dropping and then you kind of ask yourself, like, for example, in California, you know, right now it's saying 2% of all cases that had an outcome ended in death.
And you're talking about the CDC saying, well, if you think it's COVID, call it COVID.
Right.
And then you add in there the way that deaths are being reported.
You've got to say, you know, plus the PCR tests aren't 100% accurate, but that percentage is probably even lower than, But then you had California recently, I think a few months back, they took off the demographics of the age groups.
And another piece of information that's really important is you don't know, you can find it on the CDC's website, but they talk about people with two or more pre-existing conditions.
And then also people on medications that really, you know, lower your immune system.
And if you take all that into consideration, someone of my age group is probably like 0.5% chance.
You know, out of the closed cases that I would die if I were to get sick.
Gotcha.
We got to go, but I think you kind of made your point.
Yeah, the deaths is the real question.
I care about it, and it sounds like that's what Robert cared about also.

All of these things that we can see unraveling this most exceptional nation.
It's time for the real believers and the real conservatives to step forward and be absolutely fearless in doing so.
But I think a lot of Americans have woken up.

These people were on fire to take back.
And I had people come up and say, I never thought I'd run for city council, and I'm going to do it.
And I had a couple of law enforcement who said, you know, I didn't have any interest in actually being the sheriff, but our sheriff won't enforce the rules.

Universal masking is going to be mandatory for source control and prevention.
But most amazingly in the new CDC leaked documents that we have here on our program is that they model the vaccine only being 75 to 85% effective.
That's their own internal modeling.
Is that a vaccine or is that a therapeutic?
Have you ever heard of a vaccine only being 75% or 85% effective?
That's their own modeling.
That's their own assumptions.
And it says here, given higher transmissibility and current vaccine coverage, universal masking is essential to reduce transmission of the dental variant.
Basically, they're saying, look, you want to talk about people who are sowing vaccine hesitancy?
You want to talk about people that are sowing discord and losing trust in the vaccine?
It's the Center for Disease Control.
Joe Biden and the federal government is now running interference at a very aggressive pace.

Yeah, California Dreaming was one, and not anymore.
That would be appropriate to third hour.
I actually saved that for when Larry's coming on later in the hour.
But I'm trying to think of, you had me, oh, something Saturday night, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Oh, what a night!
That was one of them because it was Saturday night.
So I'm trying...
For me to remember better than you, William, is a bad sign because William did the show for a big time, a long while, and he was pretty good at it.
And speaking of pretty good, you guys have a lot of great calls.
And I'm not even going to do my monologue this hour to start on a lot of news stories.
I'll let you take over.
Minister Rich, you're on with Mark.
Yeah, I'm Mark.
How are you?
I'm fine.
I just wanted to, do you consider November 3rd, 2020 the biggest fraud in American history?
I haven't thought in those terms.
I just know in terms of election fraud, it was way up there.
Yeah.
Well, we witnessed that any sentient human being, I believe, saw it in real time, on video.
Thousands of testimonies.
It's the most blatant thing in the history of our country, in my opinion.
What say you?
I agree.
You may not have heard of me in the past, been on for a lot of years, but around the election...
I made it clear.
I stayed up till 3 a.m.

And I was looking at Wisconsin.
I was looking at Michigan.
I said, okay, he's up by enough.
We're going to take this.
And Georgia was in dispute, whatever was going on.
I mean, I mentioned on one of the fill-ins for Dennis, maybe it was Larry, I don't remember.
I think there were 21 anomalies.
Dennis did something like this last week, or one of the weeks, and he mentioned five, I think.
I had 21 written by, don't ask me the newspaper right now, the magazine.
It was The Stream, I think.
Mark, can I say this?
Mark, can I say this?
I would be screaming from the housetops, bloody murder, reciting the very jot and tittle of every instance of election fraud to gin up the base, a dispirited, confused, conservative base that needed direction.
We don't need quizlings in the media.
We don't need people writing books as, you know, the Statue of Liberty.
It's decapitated, right?
We don't need people pointing out that the people are bad that are doing the decapitation.
We need action, not quizlings.
Now, I don't know what Mike Lindell was going to do, but one of my news stories was he's dropped his ads from Fox News.
I don't know if it's temporary or permanent.
Because they won't let him air his expose, I guess, I don't know exactly what he's doing, on the election fraud.
And I'm glad to see, well, it doesn't matter, air it.
I mean, let's see what he's got and what he doesn't have.
To you and me, it's clear there was no doubt there was election fraud.
You may have heard me say earlier, it's resonant.
I can't even call him president.
I don't think he won.
I mean, I don't want to go through all the anomalies now.
You and I know it.
No, we don't have to go through that.
Let me, if you don't mind, another comment.
We need Paul Revere's, like Mike Lindell, willing to sacrifice everything you have because we're in occupied Marxist territory right now.
We don't need books.
We don't need ratings builders.
We don't need that.
We need action.
If it's civil disobedience, so be it.
If it has to get worse, we'll see what happens.
But we are in trouble here, and we need that clarion call.
I agree.
Thanks for your call.
And I don't know the methods that are necessary, but I will say this.
The fact is that we need to make sure that the election laws stay the way they are, where the states determine...
Election laws.
That's what the Constitution says, Article 2, Section 1. I don't remember the numbers.
And that's why the Democrats are fighting so hard against it.
And another news story I was going to mention is, if there was nothing to hide, why is the administration fighting the audits in Arizona and elsewhere?
It seems obvious to me, if you want to legitimately, you'd totally be on their side.
What would you have to hide?
So, I agree that it was stolen.
It was more than depressing, and you're right, we need some kind of action, although I need it to be peaceful.
Let's go to, I think Amy disagrees with me, but let's see.
Amy, you're on with Mark.

I just wanted to say, a couple of callers ago, you had someone saying that there's a right not to be made ill by other people, and that is complete perversion of what a right is.
If you had that right, you also have a right not to get hot in the sun and not to get wet in the rain.
And we can't allow that to become what a right is.
And these people are trying to do something.
It's a similar thing to when they do the triggering argument, that your speech hurts my feelings, so I have a right to shut you up.
Those are all the same fallacies.
Yeah, with speech it's clear to me.
But look, I never wanted the seatbelt law when it first came out.
But I understand that government, you know, they get around.
If you asked me, I'd say no, it's up to the individual.
But they did it, and now I guess I'm used to it.
But I agree with you.
We're not sure.
That's why I started the show an hour or so ago, mentioning the basic idea of this country is limited.
Government.
Stay out of our lives and leave us alone.
And the basic idea of the left, not that any students would know this unless you help them see it.
And I don't say this disparagingly.
The basic idea of the left is more government and the government knows what's best.
And we can do this.
Added to that, they often become elite, like Nancy Pelosi, right?
Not wearing a mask when it's convenient.
Or Gavin Newsom eating at a restaurant without his mask on.
Because they really think that they're privileged, that they have a right to live different than the rest of the people.
That's not what this government was founded on.
That's not what this country was founded on.
So it's a basic difference between conservatives and liberals.
Go.
Well, does it make any difference, the fact that they are saying it is true that the variant is still spread?
When people have been vaccinated, they're still spreading it.
So that whole argument goes out the window.
And the fact that they're always talking about conservative this, conservative that, about not getting the vaccine, that proves that this is about politics, not about health at all.
Yeah, I think they're going to keep coming up.
It looks like more variants, right?
And then they'll have to do that.
And Dennis had a right a year or so ago when he said, this is just the trial run.
They'll use global warming the same way, right?
It's a crisis, and we can tell you what to do and shut you down.
Yeah, these people are disingenuous.
They call up talking about how they're scared for their health.
They're worried that they're going to get hurt or we're going to hurt someone.
Those things are all lies.
This is about silencing people they don't like.
That's all it's about.
I agree with you.
I love it, Amy.
I bet you do, too.
So I walk every day unless I'm playing tennis.
And I see these some people, not a ton, they're alone, walking on the other side of the street.
And they've got this mask on.
I was like, what?
Outside, too?
Oh, but if Obama, right, has a party...
I don't know.
How many people did he have?
500 people?
I don't know how many he had.
And that's okay.
Because he's on the other side.
They get to do that.
Or if it's Antifa or Black Lives Matter.
Do you ever feel, Amy, that you're living on another planet?
I think at the end times, I think that people get scared when you start talking that way.
But the planet is being converted into a battlefield, and there's nothing really stopping it at this point.
And I wish Trump had done more.
I get upset because...
He was there when all this started.
When the riots started, he didn't hire the best people, and he certainly didn't fire enough people.
And I hope if he gets back in there, he does it right next time.
Boy, are we in sync.
You know, no one's perfect, but I thought his hirees also were bad.
I hope Barr would be better, but what was he up to when at the end he kept saying there was no election fraud?
You know, he doesn't see anything.
And then we hear, I think there was an assistant prosecutor somewhere, maybe it was Pennsylvania, said that's not true.
He didn't want us to find it.
He didn't let us go investigate.
I mean, he really did.
That's one disadvantage of coming in from the outside.
That, you know, you're going to appoint people.
These are the in people.
You've got to have him for secretary.
Yeah.
Who was the secretary of state?
His first one.
I thought he was lousy, too.
I can't even remember his name.
So he did.
That's Sessions.
No, not Sessions.
That's attorney general.
I'm thinking of secretary of state.
But anyway, I think.
Yeah, Tillerson.
Tillerson.
Yeah, I thought he was awful.
I mean, there were so many that didn't know.
You could say it's a huge government.
How does he know?
And I guess you've got to trust some people to guide you in this thing.
But a lot of them have institutions, right?
When, you know, you seek power, you've got to wonder about that.
That's why, you know, I think you've got to have a lot of friends on your side that you can trust, right?
If Larry were lucky enough to win this for the governor, I'd love to work for him.
I'd be glad, too, if he ever asked me.
You've got to have people who are loyal to you that protect you.
Yeah, they tell you when you're wrong and they disagree with you.
That's important, too.
But you can't have them with these different agendas.
So if there's one thing besides the tweets sometimes and stuff like that, but that's what you get, the whole thing with Trump, I don't think he appointed sometimes people in his interest.
Look at Nikki Haley.
She turned on him.
The Secretary of Labor, McConnell's wife turned on him.
It's too discouraging.
How many people...
How many of these people...
How many of them are getting paid by China?
For instance, you've got this wife, Mitch McConnell.
We've got to go.
Great call, Amy.
Amy, I love talking to you.

So the first thing we do is we actually think of everything Biden has done and do exactly the opposite.
And I'm not kidding, Carl.
I mean, we do exactly the opposite of what Biden is doing.
You know, we don't need $4 trillion of spending right now.
We need to be, after a crisis is over, and COVID is basically over now, thanks to Trump and the vaccine, usually after, like, World War II or after the Cold War, we actually cut spending.
We need to be aggressively cutting government spending.
By the way, government spending, you know this, Carl.
Where did this crazy idea come from that government spending stimulates?
All the government spending stimulates.
You know what?
It's so funny that you mention that.
I talk about that often on my show.
And one of the things...
It's frustrating to hear Biden talk about it, but it's even more...
It's scary to me that people believe it, that there's such a lack of understanding when it comes to economics.
It completely baffles me.
It completely scares me that he could say the things that he says about inflation and just completely get away with it.
Now, think about somebody like Joe Biden.

That didn't make us the joke.

Yeah.
It's really brilliant, but it's not cheesy.
Like we're making films, but it's not cheesy.
It's a TV program, but it's not cheesy.
There's so much that we do that's cheesy.
And it is an amazing thing.
I said it before, but you guys, it's not just not cheesy.
It's brilliant.
And actually in the world in which we live today...
It's almost the only stuff that's happening at that level.
I mean, there's nothing on the left that can compare to it.
Well, I can tell you why.
The reason there's nothing good on the left right now, and I've followed The Onion for years.
They've been around for 20-plus years.
They used to be very funny Did you know all this?
It sounds a little by living with you.
What a miracle!
Mark Hesler filling in for Dennis Prager and that was the Four Seasons, Oh What a Night, which we played one of the hours on our Saturday night show.
We did pop culture, we did two Democrats, we did two Republicans.
It was a different show.
People loved that.
Maybe I'll bring it back as a podcast someday.
Anyway, as you know, August is fundraising month for PragerU with over 5 billion views.
That's unbelievable.
PragerU has been educating college and high school students all over the world.
And now PragerU is reaching grammar and junior high school kids with new PragerU kids content.
Education got us into the mess, just what I said, right?
When that person emailed me or Facebook, whatever it was, and said, Mark, how do we get into all this?
My friends, education is the only way out.
I agree.
We need to support Dennis and his terrific team.
Go to PragerU.com to donate or call 833-PRAGERU. PragerU.com or call 833-PRAGERU. And Alan probably doesn't like to say this, but it was Alan's idea as far as I know.
Start PragerU.
To do that kind of good, and of course Dennis agreed right away, is amazing.
But what these two gentlemen did, and all the people that have followed them, I know it's a great organization.
And speaking of people in an organization, William gave me this article I want to mention.
It's amazing.
Talk about loss of freedom.
Ohio judge orders a man to get COVID-19 as condition of probation.
He ordered a man to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or face jail time.
It doesn't matter his name, but Judge Wagner told the gentleman at a sentencing hearing in a Hamilton County courthouse Wednesday, he must get vaccinated within 60 days as condition of his probation for possession of fentanyl, the news station said.
I'm just a judge, not a doctor, but I think the vaccine's a lot safer than fentanyl, which is what you had in your pocket.
Yeah, maybe it is a lot safer.
No one's arguing that.
Who are you?
To tell him he must get vaccinated.
It's unbelievable.
And the question is loss of freedom.
That's where I started.
What was this country founded on?
Liberty.
Get rid of kings and queens and you get to make the decisions wherever possible.
That's what makes me a conservative.
Constitutionalist.
It all makes sense.
Alright.
A lot of great calls.
I have no idea exactly.
Carl, in Portland, Oregon, what do you want to talk about?
Oh, hey, yeah, just something you mentioned a little ways back was the infrastructure bill.
I'm a big fan of it.
I think it's what our country needs.
China's building infrastructure every day.
And our pretty much useless government cannot seem to get this done.
Also, you mentioned Adam Kissinger.
And he is one of the politicians I like most.
And the reason is, is I seek politicians from either party, I don't care what party they're from, who put service before self and put country before their party.
And he's a classic example of that.
Tulsi Gabbard's an example of that.
And there are many others from both sides of the aisle.
So the infrastructure bill, maybe not the first one, I'm not 100% sure, but certainly the one they're about to come up with after this one, is loaded with things that are not infrastructure.
I think the number, I could be wrong, 6% or 10% is on real infrastructure, like bridges and roads and so on.
Most of the rest is pork and nonsense that you throw in from the Green New Deal to other kind of stuff.
Yes, the other one that they want to put on top of it.
I'm not supporting that.
Supporting hard infrastructure, and I'm glad to see that the two parties can get together on that.
So who's going to pay for this?
How are we going to pay for this, Carl?
Okay, here's the thing.
I have no problem even running a deficit if it's an investment in the United States, and infrastructure is, because these are all jobs that cannot be exported.
I'm in construction.
I'm a union electrician.
I'm a Navy vet.
Thank you, sir.
This is the type of stuff that we need to invest in our country.
All this other pork stuff, I totally agree with you.
Okay, then maybe you and I... But if we cannot have safe water systems, safe bridges and roads, the infrastructure, you know, to have business and converts, then...
We might as well give up.
Because China's beaten on that every day.
Carl, if that's all it was...
That's my point.
Yeah, good.
If that's all it was, I'd be for it.
But everything they've done, I don't know what, $6 trillion we're up to now?
With the original first bill in January, February, whatever it was?
And so on?
It's our children, grandchildren going to pay for this.
You can't spend your way out of this.
So if it was just that, and nothing else, you and I might be in agreement.
We're certainly not in agreement on Kinzinger, what he's up to.
This is not about putting country ahead of your party.
There was no insurrection on January 6th.
We were a bunch of morons and others involved.
We don't know who was involved.
I hope that comes out at some point.
It was nonsense.
It was ridiculous.
Should they be responsible?
Absolutely.
But don't make this into something it wasn't.
And Nancy Pelosi, are they going to show us thousands of hours of tape of what really happened?
No, they refused to do that.
Are they going to question?
She was in charge of the police, the Capitol Police, and so was McConnell with her, to decide about providing protection for the Capitol.
The best evidence looks like they turned it down.
For the National Guard or anything else.
There was a lot going on.
I watched policemen.
I wondered about this when I first saw it, Carl.
I watched policemen, some of them, waving these people in.
We don't know the truth about January 6th.
But this commission, that's not what it's about.
It's about to get Trump and his supporters, people like me, to make them look like the biggest insurrection wall in Antifa.
And BLM actually took lives and burned down buildings.
And none of those people have been prosecuted.
This is a show trial.
I agree with you on that point, sir.
I live in Portland, Oregon, and my spouse works for the police department.
I'm not defending anything radical on the left nor the right.
I'm an independent.
Some of my views would definitely seem left to you because I support national health care, but other of my views are farther to the right or more conservative.
That's fair.
Some of your points I agree very much, but the problem is the divisiveness in our country and labeling, you know, you could say, oh, all Trump supporters are, you know, all these bad things, racists and that.
That's not true.
I work with them every day, their friends or family members.
Other people say, oh, the people on the left, oh, they're all for defunding the police and they're all communists.
Well, that's not true.
I work with these people every day, their friends and their family.
I work with them on the job site.
This is what's hurting our country.
It's taking people and putting them in a box and labeling them as this because they happen to maybe support one of these two parties or the other.
These two parties produced for us candidates for president in my choice was a choice between cancer and polio.
I voted for Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.
There again, someone that serves our country.
See, that's where we agree.
Somebody that puts country before party, as Kissinger does.
Carl, no, no, no.
I agree with Tulsi Gabbard.
You and I are in agreement on that.
Whatever his name is.
He's not doing that.
They wouldn't allow McCarthy, the leader of the Republicans.
They got rid of two of the people he recommended.
Can't you see what a show trial this was?
They only took the two people who agreed with him and didn't care about what really happened at the Capitol.
They're out to get Trump and his supporters.
That's what this is.
It's a show trial.
He's not a patriot.
He's a fool.
He just wants publicity.
I have no use for him.
I disagree with that about Kissinger.
He served our country honorably.
He's a highly decorated congressman.
I don't argue that.
I don't argue that.
And just because his opinion may differ from you.
No, it's not different.
He's an outstanding person.
I will go for him in a heartbeat.
This is like a communist show trial, but call.
Good call.
Let me know what you think.

He says, if you want to convince people to get a vaccine, writes Matt Taibbi, pretty much the worst way to go about it is a massive blame campaign delivered by sneering blue noses who have a richly deserved credibility problem with large chunks of the population and now insists they're owed financially besides.
Matt Taibbi says, I'm vaccinated.
I think people should be vaccinated.
But the latest...
Moral mania we're witnessing, and make no mistake about it, he writes, the pandemic of the unvaccinated PR campaign is the latest in a ceaseless series of such manias dating back to late 2016. Lays bare everything that's abhorrent and nonsensical in modern American politics.
Isn't that—I think that's such a smart— In fact, those panelists on The Five yesterday were very wisely pointing out, Greg Gutfeld said to Geraldo, if you're trying to be persuasive, buddy, it ain't working.
It ain't working.

Help you make up your mind about the vaccine?
Totally, totally.
Now, I'm really pissed off because my sister is a state worker, and she doesn't want to get the vaccine, but she has to do it.
So I was gonna basically get it to help her move on, okay?
But after hearing him, I'm not going to do it.

This is America's moment, what's taking place in our schools, the crime in our cities, all of these things that we can see unraveling this most exceptional nation.
It's time for the real believers and the real conservatives to step forward and be absolutely fearless in doing so.
But I think a lot of Americans have woken up, and so we don't even know what is going on on the grassroots level because you can't keep track of everything.
But I think people are rising.
And they're looking for folks like you and the handful of others in Congress, and they're saying we can no longer do business as usual.
But, I mean, ten years ago, you were not thinking like this.
No, no.
You nailed it.
You absolutely nailed it.
And by the way, I can give you two data points from the last 48 hours.
I was in southwest Missouri at the Ashcroft Family Farm.
It was a picnic outdoor.
Horde rain right about an hour before the picnic.
Nobody left.
They left.
They gave me a chance.
They gave former Attorney General Ashcroft a chance to talk about the Bible and America and what we were all going to go do.
These people were on fire to take back.
And I had people come up and say, I never thought I'd run for city council, and I'm going to do it.
And I had a couple of law enforcement who said, you know, I didn't have any interest in actually being the sheriff, but our sheriff won't enforce the rules.
I'm going to go do that.
No, this is different.
I was in Iowa at an event that was very similar to that.
People are engaged in their civic life, in their churches.
And they're community in ways that I have not seen.
I've been at this now nine, ten years from the time I first lost my mind and ran for Congress when Obama was the president and we had to throw Nancy out the last time.
Who to believe would have to throw her out of speakership again?
But here we are.
And this is a moment where people are being tested, they're being challenged, and my observation is people are rising to that challenge.

Well, Darren.
Going back to when the Reverend called in and, you know, the statistical anonymity on the election, which you've identified 21. 20-something.
Yeah.
But the one that really gets me...
Is that when we all went to bed at 3 o'clock and Trump was up, let's put it in the terms of a football game, at halftime, Trump's up 13 to 10, and then you come back at halftime when no playing had been done because supposedly they were stopping the county.
That's right.
You come back from halftime and suddenly it's 16-13.
Yeah, right.
But a couple of, to me, anecdotal, but when you look at all the MAGA cruises and stuff, you know, where people were organizing car drives and whatnot and people joining along the lines and the boating armadas, the enthusiasm for Trump was huge.
And to tell me that the Biden people that couldn't get 20 people at one of his rallies were that enthused to, you know, outdo Obama even, eh, just kind of makes one scratch their head.
And by the way, they didn't outdo Obama and Hillary for that matter, except...
convening how that worked out right so bomb and hillary beat biden in all these other counties but not the ones that was a battleground states or at least some of them isn't that curious how that happened right now just one of so many it's it's incredible right now unfortunately not been going to come comment and go
Yeah, hopefully we can make it until 2022 and get the House and Senate back and then, of course, get one of our people in, whether it's Trump or anybody, good.
We've got to hang in there and keep up the good fight.
Thank you.
We're totally in sync.
Thanks for your call.
Let's go to Brent in Los Angeles.
Brent, you're on with Mark.
Hello, marvelous, magnanimous Mark!
What do you want from me?
Well, I wanted to respond to the death-head Democrat who called you a liar for not submitting to his Democrat Now masks or fascistically forced injections, but who would forbid Americans to take safe, simple, successful, and inexpensive hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin as an alternative to saving lives.
And his Democrat dictators have proven themselves to have zero regard for human life, not only in our country, but around the world.
And I could start listing them.
Did you take ivermectin, or are you thinking about it?
No.
I'm just taking vitamins, washing my hands, and keeping good hygiene, and staying away.
You take vitamin D? Yes.
And I take vitamin D, too.
And C and zinc.
Yeah, and the worst part, I think, with this whole thing, American people want to believe their government and so on, but they've been all over the place.
You can't believe the CDC anymore.
The World Health Organization was bought out by China.
That one's obvious.
Fauci is hopeless.
I now feel about him like I do about Biden and Obama.
I turn the TV off as quickly.
We're still listening to this guy?
This guy should be in jail.
He's cost a lot of lives.
There he is at a baseball game, taking his mask off.
How can you trust this guy?
Isn't it obvious that everybody's after the power and the fame?
Well, he's after something, and I think Dr. Zelenko should be, you know, if we actually cared about life, Dr. Zelenko would replace him.
And Dr. Zelenko thinks that the government is actually knowingly engaged in a mass murder policy.
I appreciate your call.
I don't go that far, but I'm not Dr. Zelenko.
Let's see how much time is left.
I won't give Anthony too much time, and he disagrees.
Go ahead, Anthony.
Let me have it.
Okay, so here's the thing.
At this point, I think we have to stop.
And I think one of your previous scholars said it.
The truth behind all of this is, I'm hearing stuff like Trump won the election.
That's why Trump has $102 million that he could spend.
He's had all kinds of investigations.
Nothing's been proven.
No, we haven't had all kinds of...
What are you talking about?
What kind of investigations?
No, no, no.
The audits are still going.
Like in Arizona, as an example, they're trying to stop it.
Right, but what I'm saying is, with all the money, if there was something that would be found, then, number two, if Dr. Fauci's responsible for the deaths, if Cuomo's responsible for 15,000 deaths for sending people to rest homes, what do you call the guy that stood on the stage and told America that it was all a joke, it was a hoax, don't worry about it, it'll wash through?
Is he responsible for 700,000?
No, he's not responsible for the deaths, and that wasn't his total position.
You're misrepresenting his position like they did with the Clorox.
Hold on, I'll give you more time, okay?
Just hold on.
Okay.

We've been told by Biden, by Fauci, if you're vaccinated, you don't need a mask.
Now you do, perhaps for the rest of eternity.
That this decision is based apparently on an unpublished, unpeer-reviewed publication from India about a vaccine that you can't even get here in America.
Yeah, and it's actually even better than that because they didn't even understand.
The study, because in the CDC slide deck, they refer to it as a study in healthcare professionals, when in fact it was a study in simulated persons in the laboratory.
It was not a study in actual human beings.
It was a simulation?
Yes, it was a simulation.
It was a lab simulation in India using vaccines that are not used in the United States.
That failed peer review.
So it had already been rejected for publication at the time that they relied on it in this slide deck.
And now they are sort of, you know, scrambling for other justifications for the policy, having already rolled it out.
And just an hour or two ago, they rushed out a new study out of Provincetown, Massachusetts, that I suppose is now the new justification for it, the India study.

So you said all these investigations, they didn't have any investigations.
The courts almost always turned it down.
Things like no standing.
And in fact, the Supreme Court was outrageous not to take some of those cases, like Pennsylvania, where they changed the law, despite what the Constitution says that the states get to do it.
So almost all the cases were turned down.
And then you said Trump calling it a hoax or something.
Yeah, Trump sometimes says things that I wish he wouldn't say.

There's no question that I'm saying.
We're going to blame one guy because he made a mistake and did 15,000 people's lives, maybe.
That'll be able to, you know, come back over to the other side and say maybe a few died because they were following their advice to just, you know, let it pass and so on.
Anyway, moving on.
Wait a minute, I want to compliment you.
No, no, I want to agree with you.
So, but I just, and I want to ask you a question.
So, in terms of Fauci, Dr. Fauci, Do you trust him?
Hasn't he been all over the place?
It sounds like you're a decent guy.
Wouldn't you admit that?
He's been everywhere.
How do you know what to believe?
Okay.
Here's what I'll tell you.
He is a doctor.
I have gone into many doctors.
And they try things and they don't work because things change.
I mean, we're talking about a virus no one knew about.
To have a doctor tell you one day, you know, I want you to do this.
We hope this works because we don't know what we're doing right now specifically.
This is the best advice we have.
It works or it doesn't work, and then something changes.
So they put you on a different medicine.
And then, you know, that medicine works for a couple of weeks, but it loses its effectiveness.
So we say after the fourth or fifth medicine that was given to the patient, that that doctor didn't know what he was talking about, he was wish-washy, it's not a true, it's not a fair assessment.
But he continues to be disingenuous.
I'll give an example.
I was looking for my story while you were talking.
No, you're fine.
He said he's worried.
I don't want to misstate what he said.
He's worried about this vaccine and what's to come.
People have to be concerned.
And when asked about Obama's gathering, wasn't that a super spreader event?
He either ignored it.
It didn't say much.
I don't want to misrepresent it.
But it's so clear he's not being your honest local doctor that you go to.
You're right, Anthony.
You go to your doctor and something.
We tried that.
That didn't work.
I don't see that in Fauci, although I don't want to make him the issue.
It's really the CDC, and the World Health Organization, they've become political.
No one trusts them.
That's unfair of me.
A lot of people don't trust them because they've been all over the place.
And it's not just because they don't know.
A lot of it's about power.
Well, I think what we're saying about it becoming political, it was made political almost the first day when it was said it was a Democratic host.
That made it, you know.
Political right there.
Moving with that, you got McConnell who said point blank, we will give them nothing.
We won't work with Joe Biden.
He said it point blank.
Then you got Graham who came behind him and said, I don't care about anything else but winning.
No, I think Biden actually, Biden was a friend of, let's be fair, Biden was a friend with McConnell for years they worked together in the Senate.
He didn't say what he did about Obama.
You can pick on me and people like that.
McConnell, when he said, I want him to lose, I want Obama to lose too, not to be successful, because of what he believed.
But McConnell's on the other side.
He wants to work with him.
I don't trust McConnell for that very reason as a conservative.
So I don't even think you have McConnell right.
Well, here's the thing.
I'm glad you said that because I keep hearing about if you don't total line with Democrats, do you know how many people you guys have eaten because they said something bad about Trump or they didn't agree with Trump?
You've eaten them alive.
No, that's not why.
That's not why.
That's not why.
I just want them to be principled.
There are a lot of Republicans that ran against Trump.
By the way, I didn't support him.
I was just in sync with Dennis on this.
Trump was my next to last candidate in the primary.
The only one worse was Kasich.
I didn't even trust him at the beginning.
You know, because of his bravado and TV persona and so on.
But I go by what they do!
He was a great president, so you can disagree with the president, but although I must admit, Anthony, you're bringing out some great points, I care about loyalty, too.
Tucker Carlson is my last one.
Are we using for the Republican Party?
We're using Tucker Carlson, the guy who had a case thrown out of court, because the judge said, if I can have it right, maybe you can correct me, but no reasonable person could believe that this guy...
Is that the guy that we're using to carry the mantle for the Republican Party?
No, I used him because he's on the media, he's on the air, and he's brought out, and let's see what happens, that I believe it is true that the FBI was involved in some way with that January 6th uprising, if not only to have informants.
Anthony, did you watch, like I did, policemen waving some of these protesters, whatever you want to call them, into the Capitol building?
You know what?
I believe that there was a possibility that, yes, some police officers saw a big crowd coming and said, come on in, but I'll tell you what, you can listen to another 4,000, you can watch another 4,000 hours with a video if you choose.
That's still not going to take away the video where you saw the men being crushed indoors, where you saw flags that said blue lives.
You still can't take that away.
So you can watch another 4,500 hours of video.
Which they won't let us watch, by the way.
Anthony, why won't they let us watch the videos?
You know what?
To be honest with you, I don't know.
I don't have a good answer.
I'll be honest.
Maybe they're using it for something else.
But the truth of the matter is, I do know what we did see.
And there's no way you can take away that guy getting crushed in the door.
There's no way you could take away...
People spraying bear spray.
There's no way you could take away feeding police officers with flags.
No, no.
How many guns were there, Anthony?
How many what?
Guns were there.
Guns?
Yeah.
Here's the thing.
Probably from what I understand, just with the police officers, you don't have to have a gun to riot.
When you throw bricks, Black Lives Matter rioted.
They went out.
They went downtown.
They didn't have guns.
They threw rocks through windows.
They threw motel cocktails through the window.
So did we have that at the Capitol?
They righted.
Anthony, I kept you on a long time, because you're reasonable, and I have a feeling if you were on my old show with the two Democrats, two Republicans, after a few shows, I think I'd move you a little my way.
What do you think?
Okay, Anthony, you were a great call.
It was a great talker.
It's a pleasure.
Thanks so much.
He was a good guy.

We've had 11 homicides in the last 13 days, but zero deaths with COVID.
Maybe they should ban homicides, Phil.
Or at least maybe have a little bit more vigorous enforcement of the existing laws against them.
But look, it's just completely bizarre.
I looked up the most recent percentage of emergency room visits.
They post every couple of days that had COVID in the District of Columbia, and it was 0.25%, which has got to be like one person, basically, that showed up at an emergency room.
But the CDC says mask.
The Democratic mayor says absolutely.
We're on board.
A couple days later, it comes into effect.
I expect other liberal areas will follow suit because there doesn't need to be any basis in the metrics of the data or the facts of the science of the play.
So let's talk about this for a second.
So can you confirm or deny, or do you have any other visibility, that apparently this insane reversal, we've been told by Biden, by Fauci, if you're vaccinated, you don't need a mask, now you do, perhaps for the rest of eternity, that this decision is based apparently on an unpublished, unpeer-reviewed publication from India about a vaccine that you can't even get here in America.
Yeah, and it's actually even better than that because they didn't even understand the study.
Because in the CDC slide deck, they refer to it as a study in healthcare professionals, when in fact it was a study in simulated persons in a laboratory.
It was not a study in actual human beings.

The way I answer my phone call, I get a lot of gunning calls.
The way I answer my phone call is, I'm an American Italian.
I'm really worried what's happening under the Biden administration.
It looks an awful lot like what happened in Italy in the 1930s.
And this point has got to be pounded in again and again with people who do not realize.
What happened before World War II. Yeah, and I teach history and government, and George, they have no clue.
They've never heard it before.
They don't know our history.
They don't know what makes America special.
They don't understand it except from a perspective.

Let's see if this person agrees with me.
Oh, Trump is no conservative.
Let's grab that.
John, you're on with Mark.
Well, I'm sorry I don't have much time for me, but I will say this, sir.
A few years ago, being a conservative was defined by the Tea Party, which was about deficit reduction in family values and free trade and supporting NATO. And as far as I can see, Donald Trump doesn't support any of that.
You know who does?
Liz Cheney.
Oh, jeez.
All right.
I said I'd put you on at the end.
Along with Kinzinger, she's one of my least favorite, the Bush crowd.
They're back again in the name of Liz Cheney.
No!
If nothing else, she took Trump's words and made them into insurrection.
It didn't happen.
He said, go peacefully protest over there.
She just...
They hated Donald Trump.
The Bushes still do.
Look what he did to Jeb Bush.
Look, he's not always the most tactful guy, but in terms of behavior, I think he's one of the greatest presidents we've ever had.
Stay on the air.

It's just a fact of life.
And there are people in all walks of life.
White people, black people, Hispanic people, members of the military, the healthcare profession.
You know how many nurses and, dare I say, doctors?
Physicians assistants?
Unwilling to get the vaccine?
It's more than a little.

Steven, let's pretend like you were president for a day.
What do we do to get this economy back in shape?
So the first thing we do is we actually do exactly the...
Think of everything Biden has done and do exactly the opposite.
All the government spending stimulates is government.
It doesn't.
The only way, let me put it very simply, because this is really important.
I know you know this is a businessman.
The only way that the government can give you $1,000 is to take $1,000 away from me, right?
It's not, it's a zero-sum game.
And all we're doing is taking money away from producers and giving it to people who don't produce.
That's that formula for disaster.
You know what?
It's so funny that you mention that.
I talk about that often on my show.
And one of the things It's frustrating to hear Biden talk about it, but it's even more...
It's scary to me that people believe it.
There's such a lack of understanding when it comes to economics.
It completely baffles me.
It completely scares me that he could say the things that he says about inflation and just completely get away with it.
Think about somebody like Joe Biden.
What has Joe Biden done in his life?
Well, he's never had a job.
He's been in government his whole life.

And the whole point of it was to do comedy from a Christian conservative perspective that wasn't cheesy, that didn't make us the joke.
Isn't it funny that we always have to start there?
Yeah.
It's really brilliant, but it's not cheesy.
Like, we're making films, but it's not cheesy.
It's a TV program, but it's not cheesy.
Well, there's so much that we do that's cheesy.
And it is an amazing thing.
I said it before, but you guys, it's not just not cheesy.
It's brilliant.
And actually, in the world in which we live today...
It's almost the only stuff that's happening at that level.
I mean, there's nothing on the left that can compare to it.
Well, I can tell you why.
The reason there's nothing good on the left right now, and I've followed The Onion for years.
They've been around for 20-plus years.
They used to be very funny.
They're less funny now, and they're less funny now for a very good reason.
You know, the left has made all these rules about what you can and can't say.
And they also have this idea that you can't offend anybody.
So in enforcing these rules, they even do this on comedians.
They try to make comedians follow rules.
You can't say this.
You can't say that.
You can't joke about this.
You can't offend this people.
You can't punch down.
Never punch down.
And so they make all these rules.
And comedians, by their nature...
Flout rules.
They make fun of people who make rules.
That's what comedians are supposed to do, right?
That's really their role in all of this.
And so to handcuff comedians in that way, leftists are actually creating, by trying to kill comedy and strangle it, they're creating an opportunity for people on the other side of the aisle to say the things that you're not supposed to say, make the jokes you're not supposed to make.
It's fascinating to me to see people who might previously have identified as on the left or something.

Sean's sick today.
He's not in, so William's doing a great job.
At the break, he was taking the elevator to leave, and I thought, oh great, I can do a lot of stuff, but I can't do the engineering.
But he's back, so whatever he went to get, we're in good hands.
But he played California Dreaming.
So many years ago, many, many years ago, when I first came out here, I remember looking at a big banner that American Airlines had of California, and my former girlfriend, Roberta, I'll say her name, she was just one of the nice ladies I ever met, we looked at that and thought, California, where dreams are made.
And we'd love to go out there someday.
And to see what's become of it, it's hard to believe.
In any case, it's a microcosm of what happens when the left takes over.
By the way, those of you on the line, you know, just hold on.
I'll try to get to you.
So when I talk about California, this may very well happen to the rest of the country if we're not careful.
You can run.
I said this before.
You can run away from the left, but you can't hide.
They're coming after us.
In that context, my special guest, Too long, this hour, is my good friend and colleague on Radio Larry Elder.
As you probably know, by now he's running for governor of California, and in my humble opinion he will win, but we all must help.
Californians have two things to vote for come September 14th.
The rest of you around the country just understand this is a crazy state.
Number one, whether Governor Newsom should be recalled, and if the yes vote, some people say 51%, no, no, just 50% plus one vote, say yes, he's recalled, and he's not on part two.
And then the vote who should replace him is question number two.
And if Larry Elder gets a plurality, he becomes the next governor of California, and the repercussions will be felt far and wide across this country.
Can you imagine if California were to get a conservative like Larry?
He's the best chance, by the way, of getting a plurality in question two.
And I urge everyone out there to coalesce around his candidacy.
Newsom, you know, you don't see the commercials if you're not in California, like to make this a partisan race.
They have Elizabeth Warren saying the Republican attempt to take over, that kind of stuff.
But that's all he has.
He doesn't want to talk about the schools or the homeless or the thousands of businesses he has destroyed or the shutdown of electricity or the unpredictable fires.
Or the surging crime.
You don't want to talk about any of these issues.
So forget what party you're in.
As Larry would say, we have a country to save, starting with saving the state.
So for all of you around the country, you can all give at electelder.com.
This is important.
Now, Larry can say this.
Here's where, as a talk show host, I can say what I want almost just about.
But I can say this.
There was a recent poll that showed Larry with 23% of the vote.
Part 2. But a Democrat, I don't know his name, he was drawing 27% of the vote.
I have no idea if that poll was accurate, if they did it correctly or whatever.
It doesn't matter.
But the so-called experts always said there was no Democrats who could win, and that may still be true.
But we need to cover our bases.
And I never worried about Republicans splitting the vote, but now I am worried.
We need some.
Or all of the Republicans who participated, there was a recent debate, to withdraw their candidacy in favor of Larry.
None of them are coming close to his vote totals.
And none of them can articulate conservative principles to independents and some Democrats, especially in the minority community, to come to our point of view like Larry can.
There's some people who can do that.
Larry does it great.
Dennis does it great.
I do it pretty fairly well myself, too, because many times people, after they hear me speak, I never heard that, Mark.
I never thought about that before.
I actually think, if people are honest, he might even win a new four-year term if he could explain our values.
In other words, this recall will only last until November next year.
We have a new election, and a new government takes over the year after that in January, I guess.
Even he has the courage to talk about his 0.00 minimum wage to people who've never heard our ideas before.
I know.
Because when I give both sides as a teacher of minimum wage, they say, Mr. Eisler, I've never heard that before, that the government has no money of its own, that who are they to decide what wage people should get.
And when they do that, people, especially minority communities, lose their first chance at a job.
Because there's a huge percentage, like I say, who've never heard our ideas, and they sign on.
None of the other candidates could do that.
Defeating Newsom and saving California is much more important than their egos.
Maybe they could help in some way after he wins and serve as administration.
Now, he can't offer a quid pro job for their withdrawal.
I assume that's illegal.
Excuse me.
But I can suggest they do the right thing and leave the race.
We have lost thousands and thousands of good people leaving the state because of the disaster that California has become.
If you truly care about saving the state, you will recognize this and withdraw to make sure Larry gets a plurality.
I'm not working in Larry's campaign, although if he wins...
I'd be glad to be in this cabinet.
William, what do you think?
You and me in this cabinet?
And say, I'm a teacher all these years, and I've got such a great background, a master's degree, all this kind of stuff.
If you offered me an education secretary, something like that, to make a difference, like get rid of critical race theory, go for school choice, all that kind of stuff, I'm in.
And you guys, the candidates running, could serve in some capacity if you really care about the state.
And no one's offering you anything.
I'm just suggesting it.
I've never talked about any of this with Larry.
This is solely my idea, as far as I know.
I am not working on his campaign, and this is unsolicited advice.
Leave the race now for the good of the state, guys.
Can you imagine if Larry barely loses because you stayed in the race and took away from his needed vote totals?
How could you live with yourself?
How could you do that to all of us who are still living in California?
So, for our listeners across the country, Bear with me for a little bit.
You won't know any of these four individuals, but don't worry about it.
No one in California knows who they are either, which is why they can't win.
So, here we go.
Four of them.
Hey, John Cox, you have no chance of winning, especially with that bear commercial.
You know what?
If you haven't seen his bear commercial across the country, you need to see it.
It's perhaps the worst political commercial of all time.
It's way up there.
Keep your dignity and earn our respect by withdrawing in favor of Larry.
I don't know, we could put you in charge of small business relations in some way in Larry's administration, and you wouldn't have to keep running for office.
That's what he's done.
That's what he's famous for.
I know about that stuff.
California, you run as a conservative, you never win.
And losing.
Hey, Kevin Faulkner, he was mayor of San Diego.
We could make you in charge of...
City relations throughout the states, and you can live in San Diego, beautiful San Diego, where you once served as mayor.
You have no chance of winning.
Give it up.
Hey, Kevin Kiley, a young guy, you could be legislative liaison or become a legislative leader for Larry, where you wouldn't have to talk faster than me.
William, have you watched him?
This guy talks way faster than me and Larry, or mention you graduated from Harvard.
I have this thing about graduating from Harvard.
Hey, William, did you graduate from Harvard or was it Yale?
I can't keep up.
He's stuttering.
He said LA Valley College.
I guess he didn't go to Harvard or Yale.
Hey, Doug Osi, I think he's the final guy.
You could be California's representative in Washington where you once served.
Only this time, maybe people would know who you are.
You have zero chance of winning.
Okay.
I didn't really mean to insult these gentlemen.
But they do need to withdraw from the race.
And if you are one of their president's supporters, you must tell them to withdraw to save our state.
I hope you believe me on this.
If Lowry were pulling much less than one of his opponents, I believe he would withdraw in their favor, and I would urge him to do so.
Do you realize, have you thought about this?
Do you realize what tyranny we will have if Gavin Newsom doesn't get recalled?
He will get...
And feel vindicated.
And things will only get worse here.
so gentlemen you could all serve your government in some way and help save the state William do you think they're gonna take my advice just curious no well he's just he said quickly didn't think about that what about my idea do I have a career as a political consultant is that a quick no also I'm striking it I'm going to come from William He said, I'm good already.

We're not punching down.
We're punching back at that stuff.
So how big has the Babylon be?
It's grown dramatically, but give us some numbers so we have a sense of...
Where you've come from in the last four years.
Well, so in the last four years, I mean, we've just reached, we've crossed the one million follower threshold on most of our social media.
You know what?
I believe I was the one million follower.
Were you?
And don't I get something?
You get something.
You get like a million, what is the currency in Venezuela?
Zloty?
No, that's another country.
Yeah, it's worth almost nothing.
What I mean is, anybody who appreciates the humor of the Babylon Bee has to be sophisticated.
Because it is brilliant humor.
It's not broad.
It's not stupid humor.
It's brilliant humor.
You have to be aware of...
Who you're making fun of and whatever.
The funniest thing is sometimes we go for the low-hanging dumb jokes.
This insane reversal.
We've been told by Biden, by Fauci, if you're vaccinated, you don't need a mask.
Now you do, perhaps for the rest of eternity.
That this decision is based, apparently, on an unpublished, unpeer-reviewed publication from India about a vaccine that you can't even get here in America.
Yeah, and it's actually even better than that because they didn't even understand the study because in the CDC slide deck they refer to it as a study in healthcare professionals when in fact it was a study in simulated persons in a laboratory.
It was not a study in actual human beings.
It was a simulation?
Yes, it was a simulation.
It was a lab simulation in India using vaccines that are not used in the United States.
And that failed peer review.
So it had already been rejected for publication at the time that they relied on it in their slide deck.
And now they are sort of scrambling for other justifications for the policy, having already rolled it out.
And just an hour or two ago, they rushed out a new study out of Provincetown, Massachusetts, that I suppose is now the new justification for it, the India study.
Having been discredited.

And as you know, August is fundraising month for PragerU with over 5 billion views.
PragerU has been educating college and high school students all over the world.
And now PragerU is reaching grammar and junior high school kids.
I say elementary.
I can say grammar.
But elementary and junior high school kids with new PragerU kids content.
Education got us into this mess, my friends.
Education is the only way out.
We need to support Dennis and his terrific team.
Go to PragerU.com to donate or call 833-PRAGERU.com or call 833-PRAGERU. I've got to tell you, I've met a number of these people who work at PragerU.
Their enthusiasm and their dedication to the values we believe in is unbelievable.
It's a great organization.
As I said the second hour, Alan and Dennis, Co-founded this.
You know, you want to leave this place a little better than you found it?
And boy, what they've done with PragerU.
Besides their work on the radio, these guys are something else.
And so, that's why I always say it's a privilege to fill in for Dennis.
Now we'll go to your calls.
We'll get back to officially about Larry.
We're hoping to have him on in the next, not this segment, but the segment after that, if we connect.
And let's see, is my mouse?
William, you touched the mouse.
There it is.
Okay.
Great calls.
Let's see if Greaves might be opinion.
Let's go to Roseanne in Los Angeles.
You're on with Mark.
Hi, Mark.
I have been waiting for a whole week for someone to say what you just said.
Those other Republicans have to get out and have to throw their support to Larry.
I mean, can you imagine if we successfully recalled Newsom and then the Republicans split the vote and another Democrat sneaks in there?
Those other four guys have to get out.
To be fair, I was always feeling, eh, what's everybody worried about because Larry's going to win it, you know, in part two, and they can stay in and enjoy themselves.
But no, that poll just triggered to me, if it says Democrats, you may have a lot of Democrats voting.
For one, now maybe they only put his name in, is what I heard, but it doesn't matter.
How would you feel?
Oh, you know, I'm afraid to answer my own question.
You can help me, Rose.
I think they care more about being involved and getting their ego, getting invited to debates, than they care about the state.
That's what I said.
I believe Larry would get out if he was pulling, like, some of these people up 2%, 4%.
I don't think anybody's pulling 10%.
Get the heck out.
Imagine if it comes and Newsom stays or another Democrat replaces him.
How could you live with yourself?
That's right.
I agree with you totally, Mark.
Thanks for saying it.
Absolutely.
And to be fair, I would tell Larry to do that.
You could say, oh, you're making that up.
You mean if Larry was polling for it?
I think Larry would get out.
He would say, you know what?
Good try.
I'm making a huge difference on the radio.
I'm helping people not be victims.
All the other stuff that I love about Larry.
I'm getting out.
I'm not doing this for my ego.
That's what I worry about.
These guys doing it for their ego.
When the numbers show this, you guys got to get out.
And that's why I said I was being facetious almost, picking on them in different ways.
You know, you could serve probably.
If you're good guys, I think I can't do it.
I'm not in the campaign.
It's illegal to offer, you know, quid pro quo of any kind.
But if you're good, people will offer you things.
How would you like to be remembered that you helped save the state?
When you see the numbers.
You've been in it a while.
Nothing's going to change.
Nothing is not, what are there, five weeks left, six weeks?
I think it's, get out of the race.
It's so obvious.
All right, I said I'd go to your calls, even if it's not just on this.
Benjamin, you're on with Mark.
Hey, good morning.
Good morning.
Good morning.
I have a few points I want to discuss.
Try to do one.
We got that full board, yeah.
Yeah, I'll try to keep it short.
You know, the big issue is in regards to what's happening in the politics.
This country was based on co-equal participation of the government.
But I've noticed, especially the past few years, it seems like the FBI has a lot to say about everything.
And most of these votes, it always ends up with them putting their firm on the scale.
The question becomes, how do you regulate the FBI? There doesn't seem to be any way for the government, as we see right now, to have any sort of power over the FBI. Yeah, thank you for your call.
I'm really discouraged.
The FBI, as a kid, was...
The FBI, wow, that was amazing!
I even had a neighbor across the street who was in the FBI. That is so...
Not anymore!
What are they doing when they start to take political sides?
I'm not saying the average daily FBI agent, but I'm saying certainly the upper levels of the FBI. It sure looks like they were part of this attempt to overthrow the election, or at least not to investigate it.
I don't trust them.
That's pretty sad.
Let's go to Coldwater, Michigan, and Raymond.
Raymond, you're on with Mark.
Oh, I'm doing good, sir.
I have a political question on Larry Elder, who I hope wins, but is that high enough in the power of politics to do anything?
I mean, can the overriding mayor in decisions, and could a senator override him as just a governor?
No.
He can't override a mayor, and he can't do anything about it.
The senator can't do anything to him in terms of their jurisdictions.
But he will have the bully pulpit.
And that's why I said, I don't know if you heard me, he's got the ability to put things in terms that people have never heard before about our point of view.
As I think Dennis does very well, and I think I do okay, too.
And if you do that, you'll bring a lot of people to our side.
Because in my opinion, maybe yours, too, our values, our philosophy makes sense.
Stay off my back, government.
Get out of my life, except to do the stuff I can't do.
Like, right, the military weapons and defending us against the evil people around the world, which is just what I want the police for.
I was going to talk about defunding the police.
I never got a chance.
I remember Bill Bennett said this years ago when he was Secretary of Education, so much for your call, especially with minority communities, to say, no more excuses.
You can't be a victim.
This is an unbelievable country that you live in.
You can be almost anything you want within your talents.
Stop taking the time to worry about whether the police are stopping you because you're black.
Maybe they're stopping everybody.
Maybe they cop had a bad day.
Just follow the instructions and there'll be no problems.
Almost always.
And if there's a problem, you've got a court system to take care of that.
Everything will start to align up.
We'll get so many people to our side.
That's why they're so afraid of Larry.
They're so afraid because he makes sense, and almost always our philosophy makes sense.
And once presented to the people in California, they're afraid he's going to win again.
Not just this time.
He could actually do it.
Let me know what you think.

And I know so many people who are resistant to the vaccine.
It's just a fact of life.
And there are people in all walks of life.
White people, black people, Hispanic people.
Members of the military, the healthcare profession.
You know how many nurses, and dare I say doctors, physicians assistants, unwilling to get the vaccine?
It's more than a little.
So what do we do with them?
What do we do with those people?
In fact, that's been one of the most unreported stories of the whole crisis of this pandemic.
Healthcare workers who are unvaccinated.

Steven, let's pretend like you were president for a day.
What do we do to get this economy back in shape?
It's scary to me that people believe it, that there's such a lack of understanding when it comes to economics that it completely baffles me.
It completely scares me that he could say the things that he says about inflation and just completely get away with it.
Now, think about somebody like Joe Biden.
What has Joe Biden done in his life?
Well, he's never had a job.
I mean, he's been in government his whole life.

And they also have this idea that you can... ...his family
so well.
I may not be the first, but let me try.
Welcome, Governor Larry Elder.
Well, Mark, thank you for that.
We're a little premature, but I'll take it.
Am I the first to say that?
No, you're not the first to say it.
I kept failing.
I was trying.
Yeah, but it has a nice wing to it.
I'll give you that.
You'll go with it, right?
It'll work after a while, right?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Larry's part of what I always call the real American family.
I knew his dad and his brother Kirk.
But I was especially close to his mom, Viola.
She was like a member of my family and came to family events.
I miss her terribly.
Larry, your mom never allowed you to be a victim, did she?
No, she never did.
And you were very, very close to my mom.
She adored you.
My dad adored you.
My brother adored you.
And thank you for being such a great friend to my family.
But you're right.
My mother always told me, nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission.
And so every now and then, someone would say something, something racial.
And my mother always told me to put it in perspective.
Consider the source.
Most people don't care about that.
Most people want people to realize their God-given ability.
And don't assume that because somebody said something, you can extrapolate that to the white people or to the white race or anything like that.
Tell the story about when you came home from school one day and you thought your teacher was a racist or something like that, because of what the teacher said and then what your mom's reaction was.
Well, Mark, we read a poem in class by a man named County Cullen, and it went like this.
While riding through Baltimore, small and full of glee, I saw a young Baltimorean keeper looking straight at me.
Now, I was young and very small, and he was nowhere bigger, and so he smiled.
So I smiled, but he poked out his tongue and called me, you know what?
I saw the whole of Baltimore from May until September.
Of all things that happened there, that's all that I remember.
The teacher was upset.
She made the class upset.
She even made me upset.
And so when I was walking home, I said, you know, I know my mom's going to have a different take on this poem.
Let me find out what it is.
So, Mark, I walk into the kitchen.
She was serving a big pot of greens and frying fried chicken wings, my favorite.
I said, Mom, we read a poem in class.
It got everybody upset.
I want to get your reaction to it.
She said, Go ahead.
So I'm reading it.
And I said, Well, riding through old Baltimore, so small and full of glee, I saw a young Baltimoreian keep looking straight at me.
Now, I was young and very small, and she was no whit bigger.
And he was no whit bigger.
So I filed.
But he broke his tongue and called me.
You know what?
I saw the whole of Baltimore from May until September.
Of all things that happened there, that's all that I remember.
My mom took the spoon out of the side of the pot, hit it on the side, and said, Larry, what a shame he allowed something like that to spoil his vacation.
How many wings do you want?
Oh, your mom.
The love you had for each other always shined through.
Like on Fridays, for people who don't know, you always would have her on the show as the Supreme Court Justice dispensing advice on so many issues in her inimitable and endearing way.
Do you know how many people believe she was a real Supreme Court Justice, including for a while my mother?
You know, I got a letter from somebody once, Mark, and said, I've searched all 50 courts to find out where your mom was a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and I can't find it.
I said, are you kidding me?
My mom had one year of college.
She went to a school called Talladega, and that's it.
And people thought she was a lawyer and a Chief Justice of a Supreme Court of a state.
I mean, it's hysterical.
I said to my mom, you believe that too?
And I'm sure the left, when they said that to you, oh, we got Larry, he's claiming his mother was Supreme Court justice.
But I loved whenever the show ended, you would say, love you, I think toots, and she would say, okay, or something like that.
It was like a running joke that she wouldn't respond back that she loved you.
That's right.
She never, I can't, I can maybe count on one or two fingers at a time she actually told me she loved me.
And one time I asked her why she never...
She loved me.
She said, Larry, after all I've done for you, if you don't think I love you, your eyes aren't open.
Now, my dad and I, as you know, we had an estrangement for 10 years.
And after I was 25 years old, we became the best of friends for the next 35 years.
And my father and I always told each other we loved him.
And one time my mother said, why don't you guys just get a room?
Knock it off!
Well, you know, Larry, that was the other time in our history when people, you just saw your dad especially, what they did.
They worked so hard for you.
You were supposed to know they loved you.
They didn't have to just tell you all the time they loved you.
Well, that's right.
And I think a lot of kids want to grow up with that Lever the Beaver kind of Ward Cleaver dad.
And that just was not that generation.
My dad is a Marine, as you know.
He did not wear his emotion on the sleeve, and he expected you to do the right thing, and he didn't need to run around telling you how much he loved you.
That didn't happen until we became adults, because we were kind of making up to the 10 years we didn't really speak to each other.
But no, my mother and father never said that.
And I have a lot of relatives, and I would visit them in the South, and they were all the same way.
Just matter-of-fact people did their job, and they expected you to respect them, and they expected you to appreciate them for all the work that they're doing.
If you don't appreciate them now, maybe when you get a little older and get a little wiser, you will.
You're on radio, Larry.
We've got to go to the break.
Can you stay a little more with us?
I can.

We've got masks are mandatory again in Washington, D.C. as of 5 a.m.

Since the District of Columbia last reported a death with COVID, we've had 11 homicides in the last 13 days, but zero deaths with COVID. Maybe they should ban homicides, Phil.

No difference in mean CT values.
In unvaccinated and vaccinated cases.
In fact, the vaccinated cases were 0.4% higher.
That's the CDC's own data.
That vaccinated Americans in Massachusetts, I'm just reading from the document, in Barnstable County, that the median among vaccinated...
Was N equals 80?
I'm not sure what that value represents.
But 21.9, unvaccinated, N equals 65, 21.5.
I'm guessing that's how many people they were testing.
I need to go look at what the values represent.

One more story about your mom.
And Sean, when I fill in a few on the air, he'd say to me, boy, the listeners just love the stories.
Do you remember when you two were on my television show many years ago?
Oh, yeah.
And the first half hour ended, and your mom thought she was done.
And she'd gotten through it.
And then she, I don't know if you noticed, she had this priceless look of fear on her face when I said, there was another show to do.
And I don't know if you remember what you did.
You put your hand on her knee, firmly but gently, so she couldn't get up.
And she and I would laugh at that memory with her unbelievably infectious laugh.
Do you remember that?
I do remember that.
It was just amazing.
I'm sorry, go ahead, Larry.
I'm going to say, and Mark, my mother, as you know, was a natural comedian and did not know it.
Do you remember that time there was the streaking fad that was going on?
People would just take off their clothes and run?
Well, there was a newscast on.
My mother was sitting on the couch and she was sewing and not really paying attention to it.
And the newscast comes on and my father said, you know, I'm thinking about taking up streaking.
And my mom, without missing a beat, Mark, not even looking up, she said, you won't draw much of a crowd.
She was!
I mean, and we, I don't even know, we would talk at least once a month, and I would wait for that laugh.
Even if she was down about something in her family life, she would eventually laugh, and it was an unbelievable laugh.
But she so loved you, Larry, and would be so proud of you because of what you're doing and what you have accomplished in your life.
What do you think she would say about this race?
Well, I will tell you, whenever anybody says something like what you just now said, my mother always says, I love all my boys.
I have two brothers, as you know, Kirk and Dennis, both of whom are gone, but she never, ever, ever allowed somebody to gush over me without her saying, I love all my boys.
But she would love, love, love what I'm doing, love my running for governor, my My father would not.
My father would be concerned about my safety, concerned about the exposure of my private life, very cautious about politics.
He probably would be very, very guarded about it.
And by the way, I'm urging all people to go to electelder.com, throw something in the tip jar before I forget about it.
Yeah, me too.
My mother always liked politics.
She liked politics more than I did.
And she would have been the first one encouraging me to run.
And I was told my mother, if she'd ever gone into politics...
She would have been Senator.
If he got into crying, she would have been Jack the Ripper.
And I was going to say that about you, Dad.
I thought of him as Mr. Class.
That's what I remember about him.
And I don't think he would have reacted in many words, but it's interesting to hear your take on him.
How about your brother Kirk, a Democrat, that was part of your feature, Phonobro, and one of the times I filled in for you, Sean tells me, he said, oh no, they wait.
Larry's game show for hours just to talk to your brother Kirk.
I couldn't believe it.
I know he would be in your corner, but as a Democrat especially, what would he say?
My brother would have got a kick out of this.
And as you know, he is a Democrat, registered Democrat.
So was my mom.
And I worked on him and worked on him and worked on him.
I got them both to vote for George W. Bush, but they wouldn't change their party affiliation.
But no, my brother would be very proud of me.
He was always proud of my achievements, came to my events.
And people loved him because he was so down to earth.
As you know, he was a military vet, as was my dad.
My dad was a Marine.
And both of them were proud of their service, but they never carried it on their sleeve.
I talked more about it than they did.
But Kirk would have been very happy.
Well, one of the reasons I bring up your family story is because you have such a message of hard work and never giving up and not complaining to take those who may temporarily be down on their luck.
Tell us about that.
And by the way, I think that's why I knew some of the Democrats are so afraid of you.
I believe you could win the general election after people around the state heard you.
I hope so.
You know, assuming I win this thing, and of course I'm going to be able to fill out the rest of the term, there'll be another election in 2022. But by then, people realize I don't have horns, I don't have a tail.
Even though I have an R at the end of my name, I want people to realize their God-given potential.
And that's what my mother was all about.
That's what my brother was all about.
And that's, frankly, Mark, what I think America is all about.
We really want people to live their God-given potential.
And you can do that right now in 2021 to the greatest degree ever.
We just elected a black president.
We just re-elected a black president.
The idea that America is systemically racist is a crock.
There was a Gallup poll back in 2007. They asked, would you never vote for a black president?
5% of Americans said they would not.
11% referring to Hillary said they would not vote for a female.
24% referring to Mitt Romney said they would not vote for a Mormon.
And mark 42 percent that they would not vote for somebody who would be as old as John McCain would have been had he become president.
He would have been 72 years old.
My point is, Barack Obama as a black man had a lower barrier than these three white politicians.
So the idea that America remains systemically racism is absolutely not true, and it's a defamation on this great country.
One of the issues besides that I want to talk to you about is education.
You may know, besides being a talk show host, I've been a teacher for over 20 years, I've always been talking about school choice.
And I think I have a line you may want to use in your campaign.
School choice should be redefined as schools the public chooses, be it private, charter, home, or public schools.
And with competition, all the schools will get better.
Tell everybody your position.
Absolutely.
I've been talking about this to the black president in particular.
There's a black newspaper called the Sacramento Observer.
And I pointed out that 75% of black boys educated in public schools in California cannot read at state levels of proficiency.
And Mark, you and I both know those levels are not high.
Half of third graders cannot read at state levels of proficiency.
My high school, Crenshaw High School, I just checked, only 2% of students at Crenshaw High School are math proficient.
The majority of black and brown parents living in the inner city want school choice.
You know who's opposed to it?
The teachers' union.
Yet black and brown parents, every single year, pour that lever for the very party that's not giving them the first step toward leaving poverty, which is to get a high school education, presumably one where you can actually read, write, and compute at grade level when you do, in fact, graduate.
I think we have time before the break.
Tell people your position on the same thing, critical race theory in the 1619 Project.
It's unbelievable.
I'm not sure we could tell people this with language that you can play on the radio.
I'm not even sure what critical race theory is other than it's telling white people that they're oppressors and black people that they are victims.
And the same thing with reparation.
Reparation is the extraction of money from people who were never slave owners to be given to people who were never slaves.
Look, the major problem facing black America, indeed facing America, is the growing number of kids who entered the world without a father married to the mother.
In 1955, there were 25% of black kids entered the world without a father married to the mother.
Now that is 70%.
And what we've done with the welfare state, we've incentivized women to marry the government and allowed men to abandon their financial and moral responsibility.
And that is the conversation we ought to be having, not critical race theory, not reparations.
We've got to go to the break, but I want to ask you three basic issues that you're running on.
Electelder.com.
It's a short segment, as you know.
Can you stay on with us?
Sure.
Crime?
Okay.
Yeah, no, hold on until the next segment.
And I want to say electelder.com.
I don't know.
This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to elect someone who's so special, and it's hard not to love him.

And I know so many people who are resistant to the vaccine.
It's just a fact of life.
And there are people in all walks of life.
White people, black people, Hispanic people, members of the military, the healthcare profession.
You know how many nurses, and dare I say doctors, physicians assistants, unwilling to get the vaccine?
It's more than a little.
So what do we do with them?
What do we do with those people?
In fact, that's been one of the most unreported stories of the whole crisis of this pandemic.
Health care workers who are unvaccinated.

Steven, let's pretend like you were president for a day.
What do you...
What do we do to get this economy back in shape?

Mark, I'm the first of Dennis Prager.
I couldn't do the show without the great help of William, Roslyn, and Christian.
And my special guest is Larry Elder.
Let's get Larry back on the air.
And Larry, I've got to say this, and if they don't have time, they can go to your website.
I told your campaign I'm willing to help by filling in for you when you can't make an event, which makes sense, because I've been filling in for you ever since we were on that other local station many years ago.
But did I get it right?
It's electelder.com.
They can find out your positions and how to contribute.
That's correct, Mark.
Electelder.com.
What's important is because my opponent, Gavin Newsom, is going to be able to raise and spend an unlimited amount of money.
Believe it or not, I have campaign expenditure limitations for reasons that I think are unfair.
But you asked me about the major issues, and they are crime, homelessness, the out-of-control cost of living, and the arrogant way this man ignored science and shut down this state to the point where a third of all small businesses are now gone forever.
Yep.
And I want to get this idea.
How much can they contribute?
What's the maximum?
The maximum in any individual can contribute mark is $32,400.
And if you don't have that laying around, I'll take anything you got.
But again, he's probably going to spend about $50 million minimum to defeat me.
He's already raised around $39 million just the other day.
The teachers union gave him $1.8 million.
And when it was clear that I was going to enter, the service employees union gave him $5 million.
So altogether, he's already raised about $39 million.
And one final thought I want to get out there.
I watched one of your interviews with the Sacramento Bee and other publications.
They were hostile to you, even in their questioning.
I have to tell our audience, you didn't let them get away with anything.
One of them referred to your answer as a torrent of words, and you said something to the effect about his phrase didn't bode well for his question.
I love the way you didn't take it, and I dare say, few people on our side have your courage, but of course you've never backed down in your career, and you won't back down with your opponents when you win.
That's why it's important for everybody across the country to help you.
Well, I appreciate that, Mark.
By the way, the guy backed down.
He began his sentence with, you know, I just heard your torrent of words.
And I said, torrent of words?
When you start a sentence like that, it's not going to end well.
And later on, as you know, he came back a few minutes later and apologized.
Yeah.
And you can't say this.
I can say it.
There's nobody like you.
Your opponents are nothing.
They're not like you at all.
He's not going to back down people listening all across the country.
You've got to contribute to his campaign, electelder.com.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
So on September 14th, come out and vote yes on number one, and vote for Larry Elder number two, no matter what your party.
Governor, anything else you want to say?
Just, Mark.
Thank you so much for the time.

Throw a little something in the tip jar.
I'm going to need it.
Terrific.
And this is so special for all of us.
I always finish my show the same way.
It's a privilege to have a microphone in the greatest country in the history of the world, and we can keep it that way.
Can you imagine if Larry Elder is the next governor of California?
It's, boy, we'll all stay here.
Hey, you know what?
A lot of people will come back, right?
Because that was the dream that was California.
Larry Elder for governor.
