Time Text
Thank you.
I'm Dennis Prager.
Welcome.
A man I've truly come to dislike, not merely disagree with, is the governor of California, Gavin Newsom.
He's truly a nothing with power.
That's the best way to describe him.
A nothing.
He's a nothing.
He and his partner, he doesn't call her a wife, because that's how woke he is.
Why would he in any way affirm a marriage, even if he's married?
You know, when he went and ate at that extremely expensive restaurant, maybe the most expensive in California, without masks on, while having everybody wear masks all the time, it wasn't that he's a hypocrite.
It's that he doesn't believe anything he says.
He's not a hypocrite.
Hypocrite, it's like charging a person who's done a truly bad thing something violent with hypocrisy.
It's like, it's sort of the minimal accusation.
He's just, he's a phony with power.
And so now his latest is, if you're not vaccinated in California, you're like a drunk driver.
I have never seen in my life the orchestrated hatred to a group of Americans as I am seeing now.
It's orchestrated hatred.
You are allowed to hate the unvaccinated.
Even if the unvaccinated had COVID already.
And there is no scientific reason whatsoever for them to take, as minimal a risk as it is, the vaccine.
You are to hate these people.
They are killers.
They are killing you and themselves.
This is this piece of crap.
Governor of California on television.
That he should be recalled is as obvious as a crook being put in prison.
The man's a crook.
It's truly amazing.
You are allowed to hate a group of Americans.
You should hate them.
They are unser Unglück.
Our misfortune.
Yes.
This is unprecedented.
And yet Americans put up with it.
French don't put up with it.
See the gigantic demonstration against Macron's rules?
People on the left foment hate.
Do you not see that?
Is it not obvious?
99% of the hatred in this country comes from the left.
This has been true all of my life.
It's not new.
They're hate mongers.
You're a Republican?
You should be hated.
You supported Trump?
You should be hated.
You believe America's not racist?
You should be hated.
You are against the vast numbers of people coming in illegally?
You should be hated.
You're not disputed.
They can't dispute us.
So they foment hate.
There's no bigger hate group than the Southern Poverty Law Center.
It's just a hate group.
That's all it is.
It is nothing more than a wealthy hate group.
Can you name a group on the left that you who are on the left would acknowledge as a hate group, or do you have none?
Only right-wingers have hate groups, and the right-wing hate groups, I never met them.
The alt-right.
Who the hell is the alt-right?
Name alt-right that I should know of.
All the hate comes from the left.
But they own all means of communication.
Not all.
I'm communicating.
They own the vast majority of means of communication.
Certainly the only ones that people on the left listen to.
And they're filled with hate.
That's the way it is.
Drunk drivers.
That's right.
While they allow people out of jail, people who do real evil, they're not to be hated.
They're to be pitied.
Yeah, the rapists and the murderers and the burglars, they're part of the, what is it?
What do they call it?
The something to prison pipeline?
What is the first part of the pipeline?
Breathing.
I don't know.
It's fascinating.
Oh, my God.
Yes.
You're allowed to hate.
You should hate a group in the United States.
1-8 Prager 776. 877-243-7776.
Let me ask you a question.
I don't quite understand the answer to this.
We're supposedly at 75% vaccinated in California.
Is that right?
Didn't he say it's 25% that won't get vaccinated?
Anyway, take a look.
And it doesn't matter.
For the purposes of my question, it doesn't matter.
The rates of hospitalization fell the most when we had a lower rate of vaccination.
So now we have a higher rate of vaccination, and the rates of hospitalization have, they're telling us, gone up.
Though I will admit, I believe almost nothing that either the medical establishment or the government says at this time.
Also new in my life, these are new, very sad realizations, that the medical establishment, CDC, NIH, AMA, the journals, they lie with the ease that the New York Times lies.
They are basically medical versions of the New York Times.
If you think the New York Times is committed to truth, then you think that the Journal of the American Medical Association is committed to truth.
That's it.
You have a simple formula for the way things work at this time.
Yes, indeed, my friends.
I welcome you to the show.
What did you have there?
Is there something for me to see?
60% have one shot.
The rest is in hieroglyphics.
What is the number there?
53% have two shots.
Oh.
Why did I hear the number 75%?
So let me see.
So 60% have one shot.
What percentage of the other 40% had COVID? We don't know the answer to that.
By the way, can you tell me...
This is a real toughie.
Can you tell me why if you were vaccinated, excuse me, if you had COVID, you should get the vaccine?
Tell me that there's a scintilla of scientific basis for that demand.
We don't care if you have COVID. Let me say on scientific grounds, I much rather have the antibodies from actually getting COVID. Than the antibodies from an mRNA vaccine.
I have audio of the governor.
You have audio of the governor?
I don't want to hear it.
You see, I know how to protect myself from aggravation.
It's really one of my wonderful self-protective traits.
I fight every day, but that's gratuitous pain.
To hear this lying thug that we have as governor in this state.
A bum.
The man is a bum.
Did you ever hear his interview with...
We should play...
I'll tell you where we should play.
We should play the interview he did with Adam Carolla many years ago when he was lieutenant governor.
You will hear a man who comes across as stupid, as ignorant and stupid.
It's really something.
Don Lemon said there should be punishments for people who refuse the COVID vaccine.
Did you see that?
Is that true?
Oh my God.
I have to tell you, the more these people want to shove this vaccine down people's throats, the more I object to people getting the vaccine.
You thugs!
Are there a reason I am now suspicious of the vaccine whereas I was not in the past?
There's something awry going on that you are prepared to create such hatred in this country based on no science.
Even if it were based on science.
What about the rights of the individual to refuse treatment?
What about the rights of the individual to refuse treatment?
Get back and I'll shoot you.
The only one's left inside for the pastor and his two daughters.
If you run, I'll shoot your family.
Nobody cares whether I live or die.
It's bad.
I'm not gonna stand around and be a part of it anymore.

Some lawyer hit a little girl.
The community is left in shock as former cancer patient Sharon Blackwell was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Take this into evidence, sir.
You've been accused of texting while driving.
We don't make an example out of this guy the public will crucify us.
Before you take your daughter off life support.
Give God room to be God.
You're not guaranteed another day, but you have today.
Get back or I'll shoot you.
The one's left inside for the pastor and his two daughters.

And fundamentally, everything Ben Dominich said was incorrect.
Brandy Love is not a conservative.
If he needs to sit down and really talk about the philosophy of what it means to be a conservative, I'd love to help him.
But it's so foolish.
And to put the honest on you guys to say, like, as a student action summit, you need to let in porn stars.
Did he defend the teacher that was let in at school who taught pornography to the first graders?
Is that the big tent that he's looking for?
We fight this stuff in the education system.
Students need to be protected from this stuff.
Totally.
And you made the absolute right call.
Thank you.
Yeah, thank you.
We're getting...
Mostly positive feedback, I have to say, and thank you for that.
So you shouldn't have let Tommy Lahren speak out for she enjoys Bruce Jenner?
Or maybe to debate her ideas.
I think we should allow a forum to debate, you know, and stuff like that.
But I don't like people saying that they're conservative and like, but I support abortion and I support Bruce Jenner for governor.
It's like, what are you talking about?
And it's this idea of, like, calibrating the programming to reflect what we want to present to these kids, right?
And some people are like, well, what are you, cancel culture?
So what do you say to that if we're like, are we engaging in cancel culture now?
It's not cancel culture.
You have a response.
These are students.
And this is so bizarre to me.
If this was the RNC, I would be totally fine.
I think we do need to allow people, if they're on their path to conservatism, I was on a path.
I was on a journey.
I was once pro-choice.
I was once a liberal.
And, of course, you want these doors to be open to people that are on their journey and wanting to learn things.
This has always been marketed as an event that is for students, that follows a conservative program.
But teach them conservative philosophies.
I think the question should be asked is, what was Brandy Love doing here?
Why did she want to be a VIP at a student event?
And clearly, she's doing a lot of this for attention.
And by the way, to refer to you guys as worse than Antifa?
Like, are you kidding me?
and that theatrics really gets me so mad.

Good men.
It's fascinating.
This is an interesting one.
Your body only makes antidotes for COVID-19, not the Delta variant.
Really?
Where did the person read that one?
And the vaccine presumably doesn't either.
Or the vaccine does.
There are variants, my friends.
You know what is absent in all of this talk?
You want to know who the drunk drivers are?
To use Newsom's despicable analogy of citizens who don't want to take an experimental vaccine.
I'll tell you who the drunk drivers are.
Every doctor, every medical official, every politician who opposed ivermectin.
Alright?
They're the drunk drivers.
They're the killers.
My opinion?
It's my opinion, but it's a pretty severe one.
I wouldn't say it, because I risk my reputation any time I say anything, which is the way it should be.
You risk your reputation if you say something publicly.
That is foolish.
So I will take the following risk.
Tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of Americans who it is claimed died of COVID would probably have lived had they been given ivermectin and or hydroxychloroquine and zinc and vitamin D early enough.
Okay?
The medical establishment killed more Americans than the unvaccinated have by a factor of only God knows how much.
But nobody talks about it.
You can't even print a letter like that in the propaganda sheet known as the LA Times.
I'll use my own local left-wing Pravda as an example.
You know, I used to write for LA Times regularly.
There was a time that the LA Times actually had column right and column left on its opinion page.
Do they have any column rights now?
There are more conservative pieces in the USA today, which is another propaganda.
God, the hatred.
Yeah.
You should read these letters in the New York and the LA Times.
The opening letter is a real hate-filled letter.
Yes.
And under the second letter.
In the U.S. you have the right to make decisions, but then you should have to live with the consequences of those decisions.
We should be doing what France is doing.
There, starting in August, if you refuse vaccination, then you are deciding effectively not to be part of society.
In the U.S., that would mean you cannot use public transportation, step inside public businesses, or work in a job that interacts with the public.
If you would like to rejoin society, then act like a member of society.
Step up and get your vaccine, instead of being a leech on everyone else's participation in making America healthy and safe for our children who cannot get vaccinated.
I, Paterno, M.D. The corruption in the medical world, the moral vacuum that exists there, is quite powerful.
She's really stupid for writing that letter.
I'm sure that there are patients of hers who think, whoa, this is the person that I am entrusting my life to?
If you like what she wrote, She's your doctor.
There you go.
Clearly a person who thinks for herself.
You didn't get vaccination even if you had the COVID virus.
You should not be allowed in society.
For how long, by the way?
How long would she advocate?
How long would Newsom advocate?
How long would Macron advocate this?
At what number of deaths from COVID variant 17. Will they allow the unvaccinated back into society, or will that never be?
It is so fascinating that the same crowd that argued, at any point of pregnancy, you can kill what is in you, because you have to let a woman do what she wants with her own body, are so phony on their own principles.
It's like the feminists who don't side with girls.
When they're racing against, when they're competing against, in girl sports, against biological men.
Leftists don't believe what they say.
They use slogans like they use groups.
Leftists care about blacks like you care about the price of beans in Paraguay.
But you don't do anything to hurt the beans in Paraclet.
They do massive amounts to hurt blacks.
This is quite a moment in American history.
The active campaigning to hate a serious number of Americans.
Did the LA Times report on the girl who was paralyzed from the waist down after being enrolled to take the vaccine?
Did only conservative media report on this family and this fantastic Senator Johnson?
One of the only members of the U.S. Senate actually committed to two things, truth and courage.
By the way, if you're committed to truth, By definition, you're courageous.
The most courageous thing you can do in life is be committed to truth.
I don't think I've ever quite put it that way.
But that's what it turns out to be.

We are living in the age of surveillance capitalism.
That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff, whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of big tech.
The biggest flaw in most tech companies' business models is a general willingness to loot an individual's personal information, and thus his or her privacy, without payment for this data and without informed consent.
Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions?
I imagine your response is like mine.
What?
I'd never agree to that.
I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the party.
Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago.
Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.

And high school kids.
And if these parents are giving their children permission to go to this conference, they're expecting that you're not going to have porn stars walking around.
You have conservatives that defended this.
Ben Dominich, Meghan McCain's husband, who runs The Federalist, because I guess she writes The Federalist.
And he says this thing, which got me so angry.
Conservatives, she's a wonderful conservative.
No, she's not a conservative.
She might be a libertarian.
She might be a Republican.
She might be a nationalist.
She's not a conservative.
The word conservative, it has meaning.

positive We can talk about gun stats, but I can tell you about holding a gun in my hand.
I can tell you that this is the greatest country that God has ever given man because this nation has given me second and third chances.
I was literally arrested, went to jail.
I needed to serve probation.
I was thinking I would go and serve probation.
I, I, I.
Let's get started.
Let's get started.
August is fundraising month for PragerU, but I will be gone for a week in Hungary speaking, leaving next Wednesday, and so we are starting a week early.
There are many fine groups, thank God, in this country, and I support them all, as you know, both on the radio and personally, financially, often.
But nobody is changing the number of minds.
That we are, that PragerU, with a billion-plus views a year, and 65% under the age of 35. Everything is free.
If you ever saw my fireside chat each week, you would know I get questions from young people literally all over the world.
Last week I had just one day, I remember, Canada, England, Russia, India, Norway.
It's really remarkable.
So help us out at prageru.com, 833-PRAGER-U. And once a day, during the fundraising month, I talk to somebody, usually a person in Prager Forest, college or high school student, division of Prager U. In this case, however, Jill Simonian is the director of our huge program called PREP, the PragerU Resources for Parents and Educators.
The director of outreach, Jill Simonian, and it is always a great delight, Jill.
Hi.
Hi, Dennis.
You're always upbeat.
Is that true?
Are you always upbeat or only when I get to talk to you?
I'm upbeat.
Every time I'm at PragerU and I get to talk to you.
Okay, that's fair.
I'm upbeat most of the time, yeah, yeah.
But I have my moments.
Right.
So if I asked your husband, so is Jill always upbeat?
What would he say?
Oh, he would say no.
She's always running to and from.
She's always worried about something.
She's always nervous about something.
And she's always trying to coordinate our kids and our worry that the kids aren't going to get where they need to go.
Fair enough.
That's what my husband would say.
I hear you.
Alright, explain to everybody what PREP does.
Okay, so most of the audience knows by now that we launched our new PragerU Kids videos, resources, content.
We got books.
We launched all of this new programming for children, and we have a membership group called PREP, and that stands for PragerU Resources for Educators and Parents, and it is the...
I want to say PrEP is the foundation that allows our PragerU kids content to continue to be developed and continue to be made.
And our membership group consists of parents and teachers and grandparents and pretty much anyone who cares about the future of America and who cares about our kids learning to be proud to be Americans and to love this country.
And so for the past, wow, six months, We have been toiling away over here.
Our PragerU kids team has expanded, grown into several people, which just started with two in the beginning of the year.
And we are making animated series.
We're making magazines.
We're making our storytime shows.
We have a brand new show launching.
And the prep group are the suppliers.
To keep these programs coming because all of these things cost money, as we know.
This is great.
So what is the educator part?
That's the parents' part.
What's the educator part?
The educator part are teachers, which is really encouraging.
We have almost 20,000 members of PrEP right now.
And the membership, like I said, it's made up of parents, grandparents, but teachers.
Teachers and teachers.
Administrators and principals and a wide variety of people who work in our schools and who educate children are joining our group because they, guess what, they say we don't like what is being pushed through in our schools.
We don't like this work curriculum.
This is not what we believe in.
This is not how we educate kids.
And we are so grateful for all of our members because they're donating their energy to give each other support, but they're also donating And they're donating to keep our programs coming, and they're saying we want more shows to be able to share with our kids to teach them that America is a great place.
So there's thousands of teachers in our group as well, and that really gives all of us here hope, and it fuels us to keep making more videos to really celebrate what America is about for our kids.
This is fantastic, Jill.
You're doing an amazing job.
Folks!
We're trying to do something positive, not just undo the damage of the schools.
Helping PragerU, these are very expensive endeavors we're engaged in.
So God bless you, Jill.
This is major work.
Thank you, Dennis.
We want to encourage everyone.

Joe is now chairman of Champion American Values, PAC, a great organization that is spreading conservatism.
And boy, we need it now more than ever.
You talk about the state of the world.
How about the state of America under President Biden going in a very different direction, a decidedly different approach from the Trump administration?
How bad does it get for America?
It depends.
It depends how quickly we take the rope away from him and we shorten his runway by making sure 2022 is a knockout success for conservative candidates all across America.
And you mentioned CAVPAC. I was a young cavalry guy a couple decades ago, Mike.
The cavalry rides to the sounds of the gun and makes sure everybody knows there's real risk and a real crisis.
That's what we're trying to do.
So everything turns on.
School board races, city council races, people getting out to their PTA meetings, winning back seats in the House.
I'm working on that alongside my colleagues at CAPAC to find conservative candidates who are fearless and effective.
And when we can do those two things, when we do that, and folks are with me today in Florida at Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit.
we're going to make sure that President Biden's runway is very, very short.

I feel bad for a lot of the athletes in the Olympics.
They've trained their whole lives.
It's horrific, the training.
It's horrific.
It takes a certain type of person to devote their lives to running or swimming or weightlifting.
Any of these sports and to reach that level.
That has to be your life for all intents and purposes.
And I'm sure it takes a toll.
I hope it doesn't, but I suspect that it does.
Anyway, you work your life off.
And you finally get to the Olympics.
And you have to wear a mask if you get a medal.
I mean, can you think of anything stupider?
Who are they going to kill?
Outdoors, young people, three of them standing on different levels of a step.
When I see these pictures of them getting their medal, wearing a mask, the contempt I have for the world's government, for the world's media, And the world's medical authorities is so deep.
I would say the pictures of the athletes wearing masks who are getting medals is the symbol of our time, that we have sunk into the irrational.
That's what leads people to hate the unvaccinated.
The swimming in the world of lies that has taken place leading to this idiocy of medal winners having to wear a mask.
Is there one person listening to this show who thinks that's a good idea?
Who thinks it's a real health precaution?
Not one of the Olympic athletes is listening to this show.
Nevertheless, some family members might.
Please tell them, don't wear a mask when you get the medal.
This is the high.
I think it'll be a bigger high if you get married and have a child, frankly.
But it'll be the high of your athletic life.
Very few get a chance to win a second medal at another Olympics.
You really want the picture of you hiding your face behind an idiotic mask?
They're not going to come and drag you off if you take your mask off.
At least when you get the medal and you pose for the photos there.
Don't wear a mask.
I also feel bad for the athletes because so few people are watching the Olympics.
You have a theory as to why so few people?
I'm asking the living martyr.
You have a theory?
Why are so few people watching the Olympics?
It's the same sports events, the same excellence, as in other years, because there are no spectators?
So there's no energy as a result?
Yeah, and because I think there's an anti-American tone that was set.
Oh, the anti-American...
Oh, this is why they're not...
Oh, that's why Americans are not watching.
I agree.
There is an anti-American tone.
The soccer team, the women's soccer team is a perfect example.
Or the NBA players.
Look, the very fact that Greg Popovich is the coach means I'm rooting against the American team.
It's never happened in my life.
I'm a simple patriot.
I love the flag.
I love to root for American teams.
The left is so utterly destructive of everything beautiful in America, like Greg Popovich, who's a lowlife, in my opinion, who's a pompous lowlife, and that they picked this guy who told basically half of Texas, you're scum.
If you voted for Donald Trump, you're scum.
That was his message while being coach of the San Antonio Spurs.
It's unbelievable what they think they could say.
Can you imagine in the other direction?
You know, if you voted for Biden, you're an idiot.
You voted to destroy this country, which is true, by the way.
If you voted for Biden, you voted to destroy this country.
You didn't do it consciously, but I don't give a damn.
It cracks me up.
You didn't mean to allow a million people to come into this country this year illegally.
You didn't mean that.
You didn't mean to bankrupt the country with the printing of money 24-7.
You didn't mean to.
I don't care.
But I wouldn't say it if I were the coach of a team.
You're supposed to represent...
First of all, we don't care what a coach thinks.
About anything other than basketball.
Do you understand that, Greg Popovich?
That's why you're a pompous ass.
Because you think we care what you think about politics.
You're like a deep thinker.
You know nothing from my perspective, having heard you, you know nothing except basketball.
You're an idiot savant.
You're a savant in basketball and an idiot outside of basketball.
Most people are idiot savants, by the way.
It is not Greg Popovich alone.
It's the fact that he thinks he is a savant in life that makes him pompous.
And his willingness to say the worst things about half of the people of Texas.
But of course he still keeps his job.
That's why I'm not rooting for the USA basketball team.
I hope Popovich has a uniquely...
Bad record.
Well, it's the first time an American team has lost an Olympics in basketball since 2004. One, even one game.
By the way, why aren't some of these stars like LeBron James out there?
Do you know the reason?
Which is fine with me.
Another detriment to this country, LeBron James.
Folks, do you understand?
Not to appreciate how good this country is, is to be a bad person, because you're an ingrate, and all ingrates are bad.
It's one of the worst features of badness, ingratitude.

Well, I go from outrage to shock to anger to concern.
But at the end of the day, Sebastian, I'll tell you this, I always come back to my faith.

And then took hydroxychloroquine and left the hospital.
You want to talk about, it's not the non-vaccinated who are killing Americans.
It's the American medical establishment by not advocating hydroxychloroquine.
By coming out and saying that it is okay to be unmasked with massive number of people if you're demonstrating against racial injustice.

Good morning.
Hi.
So there's an article on the, I think from Multnomah County, Oregon, saying that the CDC was warning people because there's a higher risk of COVID.
So they want now the vaccinated people to wear masks again.
And you know what?
People are pissed off.
The vaccinated people are even pissed off.
They're saying, hey, why are we wearing masks if we got vaccinated?
That is a very important point.
What am I supposed to believe from these people?
You're vaccinated and you need to wear a mask?
You're vaccinated but someone who isn't vaccinated threatens your life?
What's the point of getting vaccinated?
Masks don't work, period.
That they are being now told, that it is told to vaccinated people to wear them?
And like lemmings, my fellow Americans, I'm gonna expect it better of.
Take it.

But what we've seen with this open border crisis is, listen, the Democrat Party is trying to replenish their vote.
And they're trying to replenish their vote because there's something that I'm going to share with you at the bottom of the hour.
Trump did a really good job with Latinos, and I'm going to get into the numbers.
These are in-depth numbers that I'm going to read out to you, and it makes you wonder what really happened during the election.
It really does.
It really does.
But here's what Democrats want to do.
All of this stuff is connected.
Like, they try to throw us off, throw so many issues at us.
It may be the LGBTQ community.
The reason why they want to keep adding to the alphabet is because they want to keep perpetual victims.
They need more and more and more victims.
That's what it is.
That's all this is about.
The open borders that the left continues to ignore?
It's about ushering in more victims, more perpetual victims.

Ken Paxton, I want to ask you about the border.
You just said to me off the air that two-thirds of our border with Mexico, two-thirds of our southern border is a Texan border.
Greg Abbott, the governor, it seems to me, under the strange...
The administration that we are sort of having to deal with these days, he has made a decision to try to get the border wall built because the federal government refuses to do the right thing by the American citizens who live in Texas.
How is that going?
Is that a legal battle as well?
It hasn't been so far because we haven't actually started that process.
They're going to have to go into session and fund it.
They feel, I think, have all agreed that that is a good use of our dollars so that they're going to use $250 million.
They're also trying to raise private money because obviously that's not going to cover the rest of the wall.
But I'm hoping that over time we can make progress because I know just from talking to border agents, they believe that the wall makes a difference, certainly in places that they would suggest and with the type of construction that they would suggest.
It is very helpful to the Border Patrol to have these walls in place.
Well, it seems to me that the red states, so to speak, would probably be willing to help you fund that wall because you're doing this really on behalf of the whole country.
So I hope that that's something that somebody proposes.
I don't know how that's supposed to work.

*Music* Hi everybody, I'm Dennis Prager.
I welcome you to the program.

Just remarkable.
I couldn't get over it, actually.
So it actually is the column that I wrote.
Well, what is today?

Oh, so it's out today.
Well, what is today?

It's amazing.
I'm so busy, I'm finishing my Passover Haggadah.
The book, a commentary and explanation.
A lot of Christians now have Passover Seders.
Is it up on Amazon yet, my Passover Haggadah?
It is?
You can pre-order it.
I guess Dennis Prager books.
A lot of...
Great stuff for discussion in the book.
So I'm finishing it because I have to get it out before I go to Hungary next week.
And I read to you something to give you an idea of how...
I never used the word before, deranged.
You know, the Trump derangement syndrome.
So I avoided the term because I don't like to...
Use terms that are widely used.
It's part of me to avoid sounding cliched in any way.
But I had no better word than deranged for this comment by a New York Times reader on a crackpot column by Maureen Dowd.
It's unbelievable how they focus hatred on the non-vaccinated when all they do is preach lies and hate.
The world is upside down, my friends.
It is upside down.
One of the most common things people say to me is that I help keep them sane, and I understand why.
Because we're bathing in true insanity.
Left is right, right is left, two and two is five.
And you're supposed to say it with conviction, two and two is five.
Men give birth.
If you don't say it, you're a hater.

If you don't say men give birth, you're a hater.
Is that something?
So, a woman commenting on the piece, Sophia of Bangor, Maine.

I have one child, a daughter, who told me at age 8, That she would never have a child because of global warming.
She's now 34 and has never changed her mind.
So I will not experience a grandchild.
For her wisdom, I am grateful.
I would be heartsick if I did have a grandchild who would have to experience the onslaught of changing climate.
Now, this is what my column is about.
Please, please, please send this column out.
You don't have to send it out even with anything other than, what do you think?
Is it deranged to be cheerful you're not becoming a grandmother, your daughter won't be a mother?
You know how sick this woman is?
She's sick because she's a New York Times reader.
That's my point.
Sick.
This is sick not to want to be a grandmother.
Not to want your own daughter to give birth.
Because of global warming, these people are sick.
There is no other term.
The gigantic lies of the Times and CNN that the world is coming to an end because of global warming work.
There is at least half this country, they're called Democrats.
Who believe the gigantic lies that are broadcast and printed every single day.
They believe it.
It is frightening to think that people believe everything the media tell them.
Everything.
Men, give birth.
You will die.
It is good not to be a grandmother because your grandchild will die from heat.
They believe it.
They believe it because they are insulated from any other voice.
We, on the right, are not insulated from their voices.
It's all we hear when we go to school.
It's all we hear if we go to a movie.
It's all we hear if we turn on the news.
Unless it's Fox.
That's correct.
That's true.
So now you have to read.
I took out some of the replies.
I cite the numbers here about how few people are dying of any climate issues.
96% fewer than 100 years ago.
It's not an issue.
People are not dying from climate.
Ida Martinak, Berkeley, California.
I weep with you, Sophia.
Whenever I look, My 11-year-old daughter in the eyes.
I feel so many emotions.
Guilt for bringing her into this dying world.
Guilt for bringing her.
Do you understand how deranged a mother must be, a woman must be?
That she looks at her 11-year-old who is the healthiest 11-year-old in the history of Earth.
And has guilt for bringing her into the world to die.
This is so important.
I try to make every column I write each week.
I have a thousand columns on the internet.
I try to make every one important.
But I can't think of a more important one than this.
This is the smoking gun that the gigantic lies of the Times and CNN work.
They distort their readers.
I wonder if anybody at the New York Times is not having children.
I do wonder.
Does Maureen Dowd have children?
Oh, she doesn't.
Oh, that's fascinating.
How do you know that?
Oh, really?
That would be so indicative.
Fascinating.
Next one identified as liberal, Texas.
I feel your pain.
I have two sons.
Neither one will have children.
And their partners, partners, I love that, not spouses, agree.
I will never have grandchildren, but I realize their decisions have in some way been molded by me.
I am proud of their decision.
She is proud of their son's decisions not to have children.
Amen.
Liz in Portland, frankly, as someone who has been concerned about climate change and observing what is happening over the last 10 years with real dread, I do not understand why anyone in the last 10 years would voluntarily have a child.

Undoubtedly all went to college, probably many to graduate school.
This is the effect of the left on people.
It is so damaging, the effect on left on people, they are proud not to have children or grandchildren.

This is the most damaging ideology in American history.
It is the most damaging ideology outside of Nazism in modern history.

And it's this idea of, like, calibrating the programming to reflect what we want to present to these kids, right?

Hi, everybody. everybody.
I'm curious, do you know somebody who is not going to have children or is proud that their child will not have children because of global warming?
I'm only reading to you the replies to one comment among New York Times subscribers.
Do you understand that people who rely on the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NPR, do you understand how sick their views of the world become?
Why is this not a smoking gun?
I'm proud of my child for not having children.
What more do you need?
Everything they believe is sick.
America stinks.
Israel is worse than Hamas, or at least as bad as Hamas.
Biological men should be allowed to compete with girls in female sports?
A biological man who claims to be a woman should be allowed to show his penis to women and girls?
Do you understand the sick world that is produced by the New York Times and the well-educated?
Do you understand?
The brainwash is beyond anything you could have imagined.
25 years ago, if people were told, Americans were told, half of America, most of the readers of the New York Times will say the following, thank God my daughter is not having children, because the child will die in heat.
When nobody is dying, nobody, I mean, not nobody.
Virtually nobody is dying from heat.
It's a gigantic fraud.
It's a lie.
They believe they're lies.
So what can I tell you?
But of course, what I'm saying is called climate denier.
But I'm not denying that it's getting warmer.
I'm denying your child will die from heat.
That it's even a big threat.
The answer to more heat is more air conditioning.
The frightening thing in human history has been cold, not heat.
These people have nothing going on in their lives.
The post-Christian world is a vapid, empty world, and I'm a Jew telling you this.
It's vapid, empty.
Devoid of meaning.
They grasp onto meaning.
And like the most fanatically religious people, they will sacrifice for it.
This is a sacrifice to say, I don't want grandchildren.
Because it's a religion leftism.
That is how much they're prepared to sacrifice for it.
That's why they're bloody scary.
They're willing to tell their child, don't have a child.
The most instinctive thing in a mother is to want her daughter to have a child.
And they've suppressed it in the name of progressivism.
It's a religion.
It's a sick, sick religion.
It is fanatical.
But you only are taught at college that there are religious fanatics.
Never secular fanatics, correct?
There are only religious fanatics.
It's part of the gigantic lie that your child gets going to a regular school.
This is what's produced.
I have not written a more important column in a thousand columns than this one.
I've written equally important, but not a more important one.
Because this is the smoking gun of how sick the left is.
And I mean sick.
When a mother is proud of her daughter for not having a child, she's sick!
Not just wrong, sick!
They produce sick people in the name of their fanaticism.
They are martyrs to their cause.
They write, you know, I feel jealousy sometimes when I see peers celebrating life with their grandchildren.
But I know that I've done the right thing in raising my children not to have children.
You had to go to college and probably graduate school.
This is what the New York Times produces.
I'm surprised they allowed the comments section up on this piece.
But I guess at the New York Times, these people are heroic.
I guess, right?
Your normal human instinct to want grandchildren, you have suppressed it in the name of climate change.
Your normal human instinct to understand that if a biological man competes in women's sports, there are no more women's sports.
Right?
You have to read the New York Times, literally, this is not figurative attack, to believe otherwise.
And they believe it.
That's what's so amazing.
They believe it.
Yeah.
So...
I'm curious.
If you know people like this, or if you are such a person, I won't yell at you, I promise.
I will actually commiserate with you.
I would hold your hand.
A person who has taught their children, sons or daughters, not to have children.
I don't want grandchildren if it means bringing them into a world of climate change.
Thank you, God, that I raised two sons who believe it would be a beautiful thing to have children and who enjoy.
One has children, one is getting married in March, and desperately wants children.
Do you know I remember when I first had my first child?
I really had a big thrill in me.
I didn't express it almost to anyone.
I don't know why.
But I loved when my parents enjoyed my kids.
There is something, and I know that my son loves when I enjoy his kids.
To think that there are people who are so sick that they believe the New York Times and believe that it is better not to have grandchildren because of climate change.
I have to say, it's scary.
But they're heroes on the left.
In fact, they're just doing what's logical.
Why bring a child into a world where they'll die?
They think that.
Time Magazine celebrates that idea.
Does anybody read Time Magazine?
I do.
That's my job.
It's like, you know, people who collect refuse.
It's their job.

This has not happened since the 90s, where the Cuban people have rallied and just said, anaf, mon amas, amas.
What should Joe Biden do right now?
What Americans ought to do?
Put Armando Valladars on the air, go find other Cuban dissidents, focus on Cuba, and pray for the freedom of Cuba.

You've been also really involved in working against human trafficking.
Part of the evil of having an open border is that women and children suffer horrific sexual abuse as a result.
How has that affected you as an AG? What are the kinds of things that you can do to combat that?
It's tremendously frustrating to me because we were already combating human trafficking as a major problem in Texas.
We have the second most human trafficking in any state and country.
Obviously, we have the second biggest population.
But the cartels are getting such an advantage now because Border Patrol is so busy doing the logistics for all the people that they're housing.
Dead. Dead.
Dead.
Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Dead.
All the people writing in how proud they are of their children not having children because of global warming.
This is smoking gun.
If you ever need just one example for someone why you find the left appalling morally, intellectually, It is that people choose not to have children because of climate change.
There's no better example of brainwash.
That's brainwash.
You know how powerful the human instinct is to have children?
There is no more powerful instinct, especially in women, than the instinct to eat.
Is that fair to say?
In the history of humanity, there was no, I mean, historically, there was no greater tragedy than your inability to get pregnant.
Read the Bible, how it gnawed at the matriarchs who couldn't have children, and other biblical women.
Yeah, Hannah.
Exactly.
Sarah got angry at her husband, Abraham.
And Rebecca at Jacob.
Or Rebecca at Isaac, I should say.
Isaac and Rebecca, they didn't have...
No, I don't think they had an issue.
Rachel, excuse me.
Rachel and Jacob.
Yeah, Rachel did.
The left is so powerful.
The brainwash is so powerful in our society that the natural, most...
Basic instinct of the human to own children has been suppressed in the name of leftism.
This was an epiphany.
I don't use the word often.
This was an epiphany to me, reading the comments.
I always read comments to articles.
New York Times subscribers who believe the New York Times have been rendered sick, psychologically sick.
Not every single one.
It depends how much they believe it.

Atlanta, Georgia, and Alan, hello.
Atlanta, Alan, hello.
Dennis.
Yes.
Nice to speak to you again.
Thank you for taking my call.
Right.
Dennis, I want to thank you for keeping front and center over many years now the topic of what I refer to as eco-leftism.
And that is the propensity of attempts by the left to use the environment to accomplish what they have not been able to accomplish at the polls.
And this is basically the control And the destruction of capitalism and industrialization and economic growth and population growth and freedom of things like movement and where to live and how to live.
You're entirely right.
I'm letting you go only because I want to take as many people as I can.
But you're entirely right.
That's what it is.
It is the use of the environment.
It is the use of blacks.
They use every group.
And every cause.
But the higher aim is the destruction of the society that we know.
They gave it away in a New York Times piece that I read to you.
That, what was it?
The ideal, remember that one?
The ideal was, of course, to, oh yes, this New York Times columnist, to drive 500 miles a year, to take one flight a year, that...
You will not live like you currently live, certainly not in a house anywhere near the size of your current house, all in the name of the environment.
That is it.
The celebration of human life is dead on the left.
It's dead.
They celebrate the ecosystem.
Allen and Georgia, you are right.
They hate the car.
They hate the air conditioner.
Oh yeah, it was a big article against air conditioning in the New York Times.
I think people don't want to understand the threat that the left poses to civilization because...
Well, I know why.
Either they believe the left or, my old theory, people do not confront evil because it's too bright.
Evil is not dark.
It's too bright, so they can't stare at it.

Thank God.
I mean, this is an example of something I wish every American would read.
How leftism...
It's such a fanatical, secular religion.
It actually suppresses the human desire to have children.
Is there anything equivalently despicable and sick on the right?
I mean normative right, okay?
This is normative left.
This is New York Times left.
Is there anything the Wall Street Journal or Fox News or my show has that's anywhere Do people who listen to my show decide not to have children?
Do they become better or worse parents or spouses as a result of listening to this show?
I submit to you that people become so much better human beings, healthier human beings, listening to something like this show than reading the New York Times.
Okay?
But I have the evidence.
People want to get married listening to this show.
You know how many people tell me, oh, my husband heard you and proposed?
Do you understand we are life-affirming and they are life-suppressing?
Do you not see that?
The left is despicable.
It's destructive.
There's nothing good about it.
Nothing.
Everything it touches, it ruins.
It even ruins the human inclination to want children.
That's why this subject is so important and why my column is.
Please read it and send it.
Just with, what do you think?
It's really, really important.
Okay, let's see here.
Nick in Orange, California.
Hello.
Nick.
Hello?
Yeah, you're on, Nick.
Okay, Nick.
Dennis, I'm sorry.
I was just listening to your comments and stuff, and I wanted to know what initially the first woman who wrote the article saying that she's proud that her daughter isn't having children.
What was the initial thing that made her have her daughter?
It was a perpetual turning of life, continued going on in life, and not to have your child do that is wicked.
Well, I wouldn't even say wicked.
You might be right.
I say, I use, and I never used the word before, not even with the Trump derangement syndrome.
I didn't use that term.
This is deranged.
That a woman would celebrate her daughter not having a daughter and giving her a grandchild because of climate change.
I want you folks to understand how bad the left is.
How bad the New York Times is.
These are all New York Times readers.
If this doesn't make the case, then I give up.
At least, even if you differ with me.
You have to at least be honest and acknowledge the power of the left to affect human behavior is astonishing.
Celebrating one's daughter not having a child, that is how powerful the left is.
In the secular emptiness caused in the post-Judeo-Christian world, religious people are not thinking this way, right?
They have children.
They get married.
They have children.
You meet somebody with six children, you assume they're secular?
You assume they're leftist?
Case closed, so to speak.
Wow.
This is really something.
BL! Louisville, Kentucky.
Louisville.
Louisville.
Not Louisville.
Louisville.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi, Dennis.
Hi.
You're a great blessing in my life, and I have to tell you that, first of all.
Thank you.
But we have eight wonderful grandchildren, from 22 down to six.
And they were all just here, and that's why this hit me so much.
We just, it was one of those my cup runneth over times when there just couldn't be anything that would make you more thankful for your long life together and the beautiful fruit of all of these children.
And I just, I felt sorry, so sorry in my heart.
For someone who wouldn't even desire to have these blessings.
No, no.
They desire.
That's the whole point.
They admit they desire it.
But there's a greater cause of climate change.
That's why, dear BL, that's the point I'm making.
If they didn't desire grandchildren, I would have no point.
They do.
But like the religious fanatics that every leftist is, they suppress their desire for a child or a grandchild in the name of the idiocy of climate change will kill them.
That's what people need to understand.
They want children.
They want grandchildren.
But they're leftists and they engage in what their religion demands of them.
No children.
Because they believe the gigantic lie.
One of the great lies of human history that their children will die of heat because of climate change.
There is no greater lie except for the blood libel of the Jews, the gigantic lie of the Middle Ages that Jews would kill Christian children and use their blood to bake matzah.
I mean, that was a gigantic lie.
Every Jew in England was expelled from England in the Middle Ages because of that.
So the world has a history of lies.
I wonder how many Christians actually believe that then.
It'll be an interesting question.
It is scary, the ability of people to believe lies, and we're living in it in even a free society.

Everybody, this is the Ultimate Issues Hour. this is the Ultimate Issues Hour.
Every Tuesday, I feel, unfortunately, as it happens, vindicated, taking, and it was a risk, for a daily radio show to devote an hour every week, not to the news, not to what's going on.
To ultimate issues.
That's why it's called the ultimate issues hour.
Turns out that ultimate issues is everything.
I've always known that.
If you're not clear about that, then the daily issues are not clear.
It's the ultimate issues that we need clarity with regard to.
So, I have the Ultimate Issues Hour every Tuesday.
I'm Dennis Prager.
And, by the way, I do want to remind you about PragerTopia because you can listen to every Ultimate Issues Hour we ever had.
It's a life education there.
And every male-female hour, every happiness hour, and every hour you want without commercials.
And I now have a bonus of long-form interviews.
All at PragerTopia.com, which makes a beautiful gift to people as well.
So, Ultimate Issues Hour.
I have said often that there has been one overarching theme to all of my broadcasting.
Some of you know what it is.
Not all of you will, but many of you will.
When I say it, recall that I have said it.
The consequences of secularism.
That's right.
That's been the overarching theme.
We live in a society of so many fools, primarily in the universities, media, and now teachers, unfortunately, beneath the college level as well.
That there is almost no one who asks students the following question.
The West believed in religion, overwhelmingly Christianity.
What are the consequences of the death of religion to a civilization?
Religion is the most important thing to religious people.
It's the most important thing to secular people.
As I devoted the last hour to people who believe in what the religion of leftism, which is a religion as much as Christianity or Judaism is, they sacrifice having children because they believe global warming, climate change, will kill them.
So it shows you people have religion.
It's either a secular religion or a biblical religion.
But people have religion.
So, not all of you who listen to my show are religious.
So, I'm posing a question.
What do people believe in if they don't believe in a biblical religion?
That's how I use it.
Call it Judeo-Christian.
Judeo-Christian and Bible-based are synonymous.
Okay?
So I don't care which term you use.
Once people stop believing in Bible-based religions, Judeo-Christian religions, what do they believe in?
Now, you can't say they don't believe in anything.
There is no human being who doesn't believe in anything.
That human has not been invented.
So my question to you is, if you are one of them, what do you believe in?
What guides you?
I acknowledge the Bible guides me.
My religion, post-biblically, guides me as well.
Even Protestants, who are sola scriptura, who are only scripture, have post-biblical religious ideas.
Which is fine, which they should have.
Otherwise, why read a theologian?
But certainly Catholics and Jews do.
And LDS. 1-8 Prager-776-877-243-7776 Do you realize, talk about ultimate issues, do you realize the ultimate issues that are avoided?
Like, what are the consequences to the death, Of biblical religion in America and the West.
Any consequences?
Or how's the one that I posed last hour and have on occasion over the course of my career?
You can be too religious.
Is it possible to be too secular?
Did you even ever hear about this?
You've heard of religious extremists?
Are there secular extremists?
Do you realize how we have avoided the most fundamentally important questions?
Aren't these important?
Wouldn't you think colleges and high schools would discuss this with kids?
I think it's even more important than drag queen story hour.
Hey kids!
What do people believe in when they stop believing in Bible-based religions, what do they believe in?
How do they guide their lives?
Isn't that a fair and rather significant question?
How do you answer it?
I asked, many years ago, I asked an analogous question on the Ultimate Issues Hour.
If you don't get your wisdom from the Bible, where do you get it from?
It's worth repeating that question now.
And the answers were so ineffective, in my opinion.
Well, I get it from life experience.
Well, if wisdom is only available from life experience, you can't be taught it from others.
Then, why do we allow people to vote at 18 or 21?
They have no life experience, for all intents and purposes.
Why does anybody even say, oh, listen to what young people have to say?
If you really believe wisdom comes from life experience, you should only listen to people over 70. People over 70 should only listen to people over 80. How do people guide their lives in a post-Christian, post-Judeo-Christian world?
This is another example of a spectacularly important question that isn't even addressed.
Is there one course in one college, the consequences of secularism?
Wouldn't you think it's worth it?
You're more likely to take a course in menstrual blood art than you are in the consequences of secularism.
I'm not joking, by the way.
It was a big feminist thing, art for menstrual blood.
Yes, indeed.
That's the biggest question of all.
Do we pay a price?
Nuns.
N-O-N-E-S. What is the percentage of young people in America that say they have no religion?
What is it now, 25%?
It's more?
More like 40?
I don't know.
Do we pay a price?
That's the issue of the Ultimate Issues Hour.
The consequences.
Do we pay a price?
We are so brainwashed, not I, we, meaning collectively, we are so brainwashed as to not even believe it is a question worth addressing.
Raising generations godless, Bible-less.
I think you saw some of the consequences.
Last year, on the streets of this country, you certainly see it in the massive increase in murder and theft.

Let me quote Kurt Campbell to you because I do believe he is the senior Indo-PAC spokesperson person within the White House and the Biden administration, and President Biden has not contradicted him.
Quote, I believe that there are some significant downsides to the kind of what is called strategic clarity that you lay out, Campbell said, in talking to the Financial Times.
I think any conflict with China would broaden quickly, and it would fundamentally trash the global economy in ways that I don't think anyone can predict.
Now, that seems to me to be an invitation to the Chinese Communist Party to attack Taiwan.
Look, I don't know the spokesperson.
I don't know why he spoke that way, but he sounds like he's speaking to some sort of, you know, think tank gathering.
These words are being read in Beijing, and they've already got preconceived notions about this administration.
This is only going to further that.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry yesterday, again, breaking news, Senator, accused the G7 foreign minister's gathering of...
Meddling, and that's the quote, in its internal affairs after those foreign ministers' back participation of Taiwan and the WHO. Is that meddling, and should Taiwan be in the WHO, Marco Rubio?
To turn over the Taiwanese people's health care and health decisions at the global scale.
To the Chinese Communist Party is absurd.
So they should absolutely be a part of it.
And China calls anything that's a criticism of their actions as internal meddling.
That's the code word they use.
And by the way, it's what they go around the world telling governments is, don't worry, we're not going to get involved in your internal politics.

It's a very exciting thing to do.
So this is the Ultimate Issues Hour, third hour every Tuesday.
The theme of all my works, my life's work really, has been the consequences of secularism.
It can best be summarized with the quote attributed to G.K. Chesterton.
When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing.
They believe in anything.
Men give birth is an example of what secular people believe.
When you say believe in anything, the last hour of my radio show, my column this week, all the New York Times readers are writing in that they're proud of their children for not having children.
And as much as they wanted grandchildren, It's a good thing they raise their children right not to want grandchildren.
In their children's case, not to want children because of climate change.
This is all the product of secularism.
Having fewer police makes the world safer.
You know how stupid you are if you believe that?
You are an idiot.
And this was said by mayor after mayor, by journal after journal.
This is all the post-religious nonsense.
Literally nonsense.
Things that do not make sense.
But it's not bad if you believe in nonsense.
It's bad if you believe in nonsense that injures the world.
And that's what happens.
As I've posed the question for so many years, Christianity died in Europe.
We got fascism, Nazism, and communism.
Why do you think we'll get good stuff in America?
Tell me, why?
So, how many times have kids at any university discussed the consequences of secularism?
The answer is zero, and if it's ever discussed, it's always positive.
Oh, we live in the age of reason.
Yeah, the age of reason.
Men give birth.
Biological men can race in women's sports.
It's good not to have children or grandchildren because of climate change.
It's a good thing for society to defund police.
I mean, the list of idiocies that people are to believe.
Most religious people don't believe this stuff.
That alone should have you respect religion.
Or maybe even try a religious life.
Dee in Kansas City.
Hello, Dee.
Hi, Dennis.
I think you raised an interesting question.
And I wonder if a lot of people might be somewhat like myself.
I would consider myself agnostic after having gone to church when I was young.
And decided that I just didn't believe in some of the concepts.
I wasn't sure of an overall specific form of omnipotent being, a god.
I didn't believe in heaven and hell.
But you can't live your life like that.
You have to have a way to interact with other people.
I recognize that I live in a Judeo-Christian culture, at least one that was founded on that, and those are the values that guide my life.
You're terrific.
You see, you understand.
I don't care if people are agnostic or atheist.
I care if they understand the importance of Judeo-Christian values.
And very few religious people say this.
They're so preoccupied with getting people to believe that they're making a big mistake.
They should be preoccupied with getting people to understand the damage done when we drop Judeo-Christian values.
I would agree with you completely on that.
That is clear.
Well, I'm honored to have you as a listener.
Thank you.
That's right.
That's the issue to me.
Anyway, it doesn't mean a damn thing if I hear somebody believes in God.
What does it mean?
Here's my favorite question.
What did that God reveal?
If the God didn't reveal anything, then what's the difference if you're an atheist or a believer?
How do you know what God wants of you?
That's why I'm a big proponent for...
I promote basically one belief.
God gave the Ten Commandments.
That's it.
Express it as a Jew.
Express it as a Protestant.
Express it as a Catholic.
Express it as LDS Mormon.
I don't care.
Or even just not as any of them.
Just believe that.
A lot of the founders were like that.
They're what I call ethical monotheists.
Yes, indeed, as I want to say.
Alright, another atheist.
Dale in Minneapolis.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
I'm honored, number one.
Thank you.
And number two, D took all my thunder.
Basically, I'm an atheist, and I would say everything she said and you said.
The lack of an ethical and moral education and need among people that agree with me, many of my friends, is horrifying.
It's a horrifying landscape.
Again, I don't care where the rules came from.
The Ten Commandments are pretty good rules to follow.
So when you say, what did you refer to when you say horrifying?
Fellow atheists?
Who were you referring to?
Yes, fellow atheists.
Because to them, they take the A in atheists very seriously.
They are against religion or theism.
They're offended by the fact, in my opinion, in my experience, they're offended that these people exist, that people like you exist.
It's not a not-belief.
It's an anti-belief, in my opinion.
Yeah, no, it's true for most.
That is exactly right.
So you're in a no-man's land.
Yes.
Yes, I am.
But again, I... Again, to me it doesn't get...
Just what you said just previously.
It doesn't matter where the rules came from.
People need rules.
And the Ten Commandments and, you know, whatever.
Those are good rules.
Yes.
And so I happily follow them.
I'm curious.
Were you raised in any religion?
Yes, I was.
I was raised as Episcopalian.
Right.
Well, the direction that the Episcopal Church has taken.
Has not made a very strong case for religious values.
You're a good man, too.
By the way, I do think it matters where the rules came from, though.
If they came from man or came from God, there's a very big difference.
Back in a moment.

It was dangerous at the point of inflection, at the point of decision where we could have managed this in a way that had reduced risk to the world.
The World Health Organization failed and it's, you know, you had one job.
They had one mission, one mission to stop pandemics from flowing across the world.
They muffed it, they choked it, and the world is worse off for it.
So I'm glad Dr. Tedros now sees that we may well have been right about this virus origination.
I'm saddened by the fact that I don't think the WHO has any capability of stopping the next pandemic.
Mike Pompeo is now chairman of Champion American Values, PAC, a great organization that is spreading conservatism, and boy, we need it now more than ever.
You talk about the state of the world.
How about the state of America under President Biden going in a very different direction, a decidedly different approach from the Trump administration?
How bad does it get?
For America?
It depends.
It depends how quickly we take the rope away from him and we shorten his runway by making sure 2022 is a knockout success for conservative candidates all across America.
And you mentioned CAV back.
I'm working on that alongside my colleagues at CAVPAC to find conservative candidates who are fearless and effective.
And when we can do those two things, when we do that, and folks are with me today in Florida at Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit, we're going to make sure that President Biden's runway is very, very short.

I'm Dennis Prager.
This is the Ultimate Issues Hour.
And I'm discussing something that ought to be talked about in every single class in America.
No matter what the thinking of the teacher.
What are the consequences of the death of religion in society?
Okay?
With an enormous percentage of young people, larger than ever in American history, identifying with no religion.
You'd think it would be a serious question.
How many parents are discussing this?
What are the consequences?
Will America be a better place with fewer religious people in it, specifically Judeo-Christian religious people, meaning any religion rooted in the Bible?
That's what Judeo-Christian is.
You have the Hebrew scriptures, the Christian scriptures, and you produce the Judeo-Christian civilization.
It's worth asking, isn't it?
Because the foolish, like the editors of the New York Times, all fools, they think that you can destroy and destroy and destroy, and that builds up.
Yeah.
It's like you've got to destroy a village to save it.
You have to destroy America to save it.
I always get the reaction, oh, people, you know, they go to church on Sunday, and then they would act like they wanted on Monday.
I fully acknowledge that not everybody was transformed by church or synagogue one day a week.
But it was a good thing.
It was a good thing socially, humanly, morally.
It was a good thing.
Most people didn't go to church on Sunday and become a worse human being for having gone.
A lot of people were a little better.
What percentage of people go to church each Sunday in America?
45%?
40%?
Used to be something like 70, 80. But let's say 45%.
What percentage of violent criminals go to church regularly?
1%?
Does that tell you something?
Of course it should tell you something.
It means that you're far less likely to murder if you go to church each week.
That's a pretty significant thing.
See the videos of these guys robbing T.J. Maxx in L.A. or Target in San Francisco and then walking out?
They walk because they know that under $900 because the secular world has produced morons.
These are not religious prosecutors who come up with these ideas.
These are not religious editors.
You know, they all keep me religious when I see the products of secularism.
I stay religious.
I need to tell you that.
I've written about it.
I've said this all of my life.
The secular are a major reason I am religious.
When I see the consequences of the death of the Judeo-Christian value system, I stay religious.
Yes.
So you'll say, well, then you're religious for practical reasons.
To a large extent, I am.
That's correct.
I do believe in God, but if it didn't work, I'd believe in God but not be religious.
It works.
I know it works because I see what happens when you drop it.
That's a pretty good litmus test.
Is America better for its radical secularism?
Are the colleges...
Having been transformed into utterly secular places?
Are they wiser places?
Kinder places?

One of the really important, well they all are, so I don't know what to say, truly important, Ultimate Issues Hour, Tuesday's third hour each week.
The overarching theme of all my life's work is really to bring people's attention to the consequences of secularism.
It's a dead end, it's a moral dead end, it's a happiness dead end, it's a psychological dead end.
It's an intellectual dead end.
It's a reason dead end.
All dead ends.

This is a perfect example of something that causes me to be religious.
These are secular morons in the American Psychoanalytic Association.
They're highly educated idiots.
They're bad humans.
I don't mean on a daily basis.
They may be very sweet on a daily basis, but they do bad on a macro level.
And they're stupid.
Really?
Whiteness is a malignant parasitic-like condition?
You have to be secular and well-educated to come up with something that stupid.
Correct or incorrect?
How many of these psychoanalysts go to a synagogue or a church?
I say synagogue because a lot of them are Jewish.
I'm Jewish, so I can say that.
A non-Jew could say it too, but get clobbered.
Because the issue for the left is not, is it true?
It's, who said it?
It's very different from, is it true?
Right?
I mean, think of the nonsense that comes out of the secular world.
Can you name a secular institution that's wise?
I can't.
The most secular institution that exists is the university.
It's the least wise institution in Western civilization.
Colossal idiocy comes out of universities.
Professor at Harvard.
Adam on the show, actually.
He's an atheist.
He's on the left, but he's a liberal.
And he said that the left has made the universities the laughingstock of the society.
Which is true.
It's exactly right.
But they don't ever ask, where does it all emanate from?
You can't drop the bases of your society, the soil that gave your society its flowers and its trees, its life.
And think that those trees will flourish.
We come from a Judeo-Christian soil.
Get rid of that soil.
The trees wither, my friends.
Just the way it works.
Steve in Los Angeles, hello.
Yeah, I don't think you're too clear on differentiating between...
I mean, people have a story behind all this.
There are stories in the Bible.
You can call it the New or Old Testament or whatever.
And the literalness of those stories can be put in question.
The validity of ethics is a different matter, and it doesn't mean that you throw out everything that's called religious.
I mean, there's a built-in prejudice when you, for instance, talk about the left.
There's a history behind that.
Obviously, left-handed people have been prejudiced against.
You have the words sinestro and sinister, right?
And on the right, you have right and righteous.
So there's a built-in within the language, historically, that prejudice.
Now, prejudice is being switched over to race and so forth and so on.
Okay, listen, I'm going to let you go because I didn't understand anything you said.
And I don't mean to be disrespectful.
You made six different points, none of which made sense to me.
The reason the left is despicable has nothing to do with the fact that left comes from sinister.
The left is despicable because it destroys everything it touches.
Okay?
So, I thank you for calling.
It's not meant personally, but...
And I did not draw a distinction between atheism and secularism because the distinction is virtually irrelevant.
Of course there's a distinction.
You could believe in God and be secular.
Correct.
But for all intents and purposes, secular means religion-free, not God-free.
I'm completely aware of that.
And the society was built on Judeo-Christian values.
And there are people who are secular in the sense that they don't go to church or synagogue who hold those values, and I bless their souls.
They're better than people who go to church and don't hold those values.
But the point was not important.
Have a great day, and I'm sorry.
I really am, but I do have to move on.
And let's see here.
Okay.

I had noted that.

Final segment of the Ultimate Issues Hour.
It's a big one because it summarizes what I feel my biggest message in all of my life, not just my radio work, to make people aware of the dead-end consequences of secularism.
It's an amazing thing, the arrogance of people, to think that you can abolish, wipe out, Isn't the moral and intellectual collapse of the university perfect evidence that the death of God and religion leads to idiocy?
Why isn't that the obvious conclusion, unless you share the ideas that the university propagates?
PhD in anything but the natural sciences or math usually means you're a fool.
It does.
I have no joy in saying that.
You should read the speeches of college presidents from the 19th century or even earlier 20th, how they saw the aim of the university.
Do you know that Yale's insignia is in Hebrew?
I'm surprised that they haven't abolished it.
It's from the Torah, from the Old Testament, the first five books of the Torah.
It was what, the words that were written on the breastplate of the high priest, I mean, do you realize how biblically based the founders of Yale were?
Hebrew.
Yeah.
It's a verse from Leviticus on the Liberty Bell.
But, of course, if America is a rotten cesspool, as the left depicts it, then why would we ever want to return to the Judeo-Christian bases of the society?
Right?
