Tonight is the beginning of the holiest season in the Jewish calendar.
It's Rosh Hashanah New Year.
As Craig Straseri, one of our indispensable elements at PragerU, said to me the other day when I was at PragerU making a video, he said, so I heard you Jews, you have...
Let's see, apples and honey for New Year?
Sounded terribly unexciting.
When you compare apples and honey to New Year's, it does seem to lack some degree of excitement.
He did it really well.
It was a...
It was a very funny sort of routine he went into about, oh, very interesting.
Happy New Year.
By the way, you're home anyway in most cases.
So the video I made last year of the service I've conducted for 13 years is now up.
There's a banner at DennisPrager.com.
High Holidays banner.
You can see a trailer there and get it.
It's also got Yom Kippur, the Holiest Day, 10 days from now.
You know, hundreds of thousands of people saw my Passover Seder.
And the vast majority, actually, were not Jewish.
Are interested.
Religion is religion, especially in the West.
Religion is religion.
Of course there are different theologies, but there is nothing, certainly, that a Christian would object to or did.
I mean, this is their heritage.
And if you're Jewish and you want your kids 15, 25, 35, whatever their age, to finally hear a rational, Compelling case for God and religion and the soul and goodness.
There are no politics.
Most Jewish services, as so many Christians, have become politics in the guise of religion.
Anyway, the banner is at DennisPrager.com.
And for the Holy Days, which begin tonight.
And you can watch this in 4K. On a big screen.
And you will enter a service.
It's sort of like a Jewish version of the Mass from Rome.
But with a lot of me explaining what's going on.
All right, everybody.
I hope to live to see the day.
When historians realistically appraise the lockdown that the world has engaged in outside of Sweden.
And I have no doubt I will be vindicated that it was the greatest mistake, not greatest evil, although it led to vast amounts of suffering, unjust suffering.
That I still cannot enter a restaurant.
In Los Angeles County is criminal.
I don't understand why charges are not brought against Newsom and Garcetti.
Little men with great power, but power they shouldn't even have.
You have the right to drive people out of business?
Saying they can't do business for half a year?
You have the right to do that?
And I live in an America that accepts that?
If somebody would have said, you cannot do business for the next half year, and maybe more, people would have thought, what are you talking about?
This is America.
You can't do that.
The Soviets did it in the name of the worker.
In America, you do it in the name of health.
Can't deny that I foresaw all of this.
Remember I used to say, how often?
Health uber alles?
In Germany, they said Deutschland uber alles.
Germany above all.
In America, they say Gesundheit uber alles.
Health overall.
As soon as you say health or safety, Americans stop thinking.
And stop working.
And stop studying in school.
Everything stops.
For no good reason.
Not one good reason.
It is worthless.
Except for the very elderly.
Or the very frail.
The comorbidity folks.
It is worse than worthless.
I'll tell you one way to verify this.
Let's see at the end of the year.
This will be an important statistic.
What the excess deaths in America number is compared not just last year.
Last year was low.
So the average over the last two, three years.
How many excess deaths?
Right?
More deaths than would have been expected.
According to actuarial and epidemiological data.
In Europe, they have said, Europe is more freedom-loving now than America.
Never thought I'd say that.
Never thought I'd say, look to Sweden as a model of anything.
So the article in the New York Times.
Here's the headline.
Even as cases rise, Europe is learning to live with the coronavirus.
This is what we all should have learned after the first three weeks.
To live with the coronavirus.
It's how viruses work.
They do their thing and move on and die.
In the early days of the pandemic, President Emmanuel Macron, the president on the left, I might add, of France, Exhorted the French to wage, quote, a war, unquote, against the coronavirus.
Today his message is to, quote, learn how to live with the virus.
Why are they capable of doing that in Europe?
Learn to live with the virus.
And the U.S., and by the way, worse is Australia.
Australia in Victoria, state of Victoria, Melbourne, the biggest city of it.
It's a lockdown which they didn't have in the Soviet Union.
I mean, you could leave your apartment in the Soviet Union.
And you can't say what you believe either in Australia.
The English-speaking countries have descended into a totalitarianism that few would have expected.
Europeans have largely gone back to work and school.
Whoa, what do you say to that?
And the cases are rising, folks.
Just so you should know.
Cases are rising.
As if that was ever an issue.
Cases are rising.
So what?
Are hospitals rising?
Are deaths rising?
Permanent injury and deaths.
That's what I'm interested in.
Not cases.
The more you test, the more cases you have.
Europeans have largely gone back to work and school, leading lives as normally as possible amid an enduring pandemic that has already killed 215,000 in Europe.
How many people live in Europe?
Could you just take a look?
Yeah, I thought it's about the same as us.
So they have more deaths than we do in Europe.
You have to take Europe.
You can't go, well, you know, compare America to the Netherlands.
No, no, no.
You compare America to Europe.
We're a continent.
They're a continent.
No, that's right.
Each one is a state.
Exactly.
You want to compare states?
Compare South Dakota.
Never went on lockdown.

Wendy is in Rancho Cordova, California.
Wendy, you're on The Larry Elder Show with Dr. Strom.
Just today on NBC, after work and watching, you got that Rosen report, and he's got these people on Skype having them do their temperature with various things.
They all supposedly have COVID, but they're all not testing with a high temperature.
It's either 98.1 or 97 or...
You know, so isn't that the big key?
Everybody's taking everybody's temperature to decide whether or not they can go through an entrance or something?
Wendy, look, temperature is the only objective thing that we can test.
When I come into the hospital every day, I get my temperature checked, they spray my hands with a disinfectant, and they ask me if I have any COVID symptoms.
Temperature is the only thing you can do objectively because, you know, this virus can be like a cold.
You can have a sore throat.
You can have a lack of taste.
You can have a lack of smell.
You could have some shortness of breath.
I mean, you know, there's fires here.
I mean, everybody can have these symptoms.
So the only symptom we can reliably or the only objective sign is the temperature.
However, frequently, 40% of patients with COVID are totally asymptomatic, don't even have that.
Just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean you cannot have COVID, but it's the only objective measure we can do to determine if somebody may be infectious.
And also, if you have a fever, though, it doesn't necessarily mean you have COVID.
More likely than not, you do not have COVID with a fever.

Ben Shapiro is moving his Daily Wire operation, one of the largest conservative operations on Earth.
From here in LA, it's moving to Nashville.
And he had an interesting thought.
There are more Republicans in California than anywhere else in the country.
If, you know, not even anything close to all, just, you know, 10%.
How many Republicans are there?
There are 40 million people.
How many Republicans?
A third?
So 10 million, let's say.
Minimum 10 million Republicans.
If one-tenth, if one-twentieth of them, 500,000, one out of 20 Republicans left California and moved to purple states, they would become red states.
Or insurers.
A very interesting idea.
Because we're wasted here in California.
It's something people should think about.
It's good for you.
Now you say, why aren't you leaving?
The reason I'm not leaving is that I have a community here of people.
I'm a people person.
I have too many people I care for here.

By the way, the move to Nashville, Nashville seems to be a hot spot.
You know that Nashville changed my life.
I always told you that.
Nashville was the first place I gave a lecture at in my early 20s outside of the New York area, northeast.
And I was raised in New York and therefore assumed, you go south, you know, You'll have to speak slower so that people understand you.
The contempt for the South in the North only reflects on the North.
And I fell in love with Nashville.
Everything about it was better than New York.

How long is this going to go on and what is its impact on the election in your opinion?
Well, Hugh, unfortunately, it's probably going to go on as long as these Democratic mayors and governors do not use the police in force and, if necessary, against the riots at nighttime, the National Guard, to deter this criminal behavior.
And the police are not allowed to arrest these criminals and prosecutors do not charge them with every crime they've committed until these criminals on the streets recognize there are consequences for their actions.
They're going to continue to commit these crimes.
And we don't have to imagine what the Biden administration would do under such circumstances.
They're not going to call for local police departments to be allowed to do their job.
Or they're not going to encourage governors to use the National Guard against rioters.
They're going to spend their time harassing and even prosecuting police departments because that's exactly what we saw in the Obama-Biden Department of Justice.
They consistently blame the police first.
They required police to sign onerous consent decrees in federal court to limit policing tactics, and crime invariably went up in cities where the police were handcuffed by the Obama-Biden DOJ to say nothing of their Democratic mayors.

New infections have soared in recent weeks, especially in France and Spain.

How long is this going to go on, and what is its impact on the election, in your opinion?
Well, Hugh, unfortunately, it's probably going to go on as long as these Democratic mayors and governors do not use the police in force and, if necessary, against the riots at nighttime, the National Guard, to deter this criminal behavior.
And the police are not allowed to arrest these criminals and prosecutors do not charge them with every crime they've committed until these criminals on the streets recognize there are consequences for their actions.
They're going to continue to commit these crimes.
And we don't have to imagine what the Biden administration would do under such circumstances.
They're not going to call for local police departments to be allowed to do their job, or they're not going to encourage governors to use the National Guard against rioters.
They're going to spend their time harassing and even prosecuting police departments, because that's exactly what we saw in the Obama-Biden Department of Justice.
They consistently blame the police first.
They required police to sign onerous consent decrees in federal court to limit policing tactics, and crime invariably went up in cities where the police were handcuffed by the Obama-Biden DOJ to say nothing of their Democratic mayors.
It's just one more reason why it's so important that we re-elect the president.
Only Donald Trump will stand up for law-abiding citizens and law enforcement.
Joe Biden will stand with these mobs.

The whole idea of career politicians is anathema to the United States of America.
From Washington himself, they understood that if we the people are the government, we're supposed to pick From among we the people.
Joe Biden is the definition.
You couldn't, I mean, if you wrote a book and you said, what is the ultimate career politician?
The dude has been a senator, a senator since the early 1970s.
Can you even imagine?
Not in politics, not in politics, a senator.
And he has clearly benefited personally and his family's benefited personally.
And now he says he wants to run for president, and you think, wow, what record are you pointing to?
This is not looking very good for Joe Biden.
But I've looked into Biden, and one of the things I find interesting about a career politician is how they change their mind to benefit them to stay in politics.
It's like, I look back at Joe, all the racist things he's...
Let me give you more here.
I wish we had more time this hour.
This is...
The U.S. and Africa...
The U.S. and other English-speaking countries in Africa have been the worst.
Israel has been no great example either.
Hysteria has governed there too.
Lockdowns imposed to halt the pandemic will this year deprive 250 million children in poor countries of scheduled supplements of vitamin A, elevating the threat of premature death.
Not just premature death, blindness.
There's a whole host of things that vitamin A deficiency leads to.
The amount of evil in the name of COVID. We'll go down in history as the most imbecilic policy humanity has followed in modern history.
And you vote Democrat, you vote for hysteria.
Just remember that.
A vote for the Democrats is a vote to do what Africa is doing in ruining its people's lives.
As the Europeans return, To complete normalcy.
Virtually complete.
Trucks have to wait four days.
Listen, there's truckers between countries in Africa bringing food.
They have to be tested for COVID before entering the country.
They're coming from a country with no COVID. You understand that?
So guess how long they have to wait for the results?
You'd figure six hours.
That's still a big burden.
Four days.
So the food rots.
And then they have to pay police, you know, as we saw in Africa, who are corrupt.
So then they have to pay to get their stuff in.
So it is not any longer worth being a trucker.
You're trucking items, paying off corrupt police.
The items, in many cases, are no longer edible.
Then you get to a place, and there's more lockdown.
You can't deliver your goods.
Can't deliver at night.
Or whatever.
There was some regulation on it.
There's no death in Africa from COVID. There's death from the lockdown.
More people have died.
More.
M-O-R-E. From the lockdown in Africa than from COVID. Way more.
And we're only beginning to see the consequences.
The day they did it in India, I said it was the stupidest possible decision in India.
People are already just above hunger in tens of millions of cases in India, maybe hundreds of millions.
The contempt I have for world leaders on behalf of humanity.
I'm not suffering.
It isn't on my behalf.
I'm eating fine.
I don't know why Americans are not angry with the lockdowns.
I don't.

now on the Hugh Hewitt show Senator, here's Joe Biden yesterday talking about fracking, cut number three I am not banning fracking Let me say that again.
I am not banning fracking.
No matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.
Now, he is for fracking after he was against it, Senator Cotton.
I've played a number of montages where he's been against fracking, new fracking, old fracking, fossil fuels.
How in the world can people ignore this?
Well, Hugh, let's give Joe the benefit of the doubt, and let's not assume that he's lying.
Let's just assume that he forgot when he said that he was going to ban fracking repeatedly during the Democratic primaries.
He did.
I mean, he did.
Okay, translate this if you can.
Cut number two.
COVID has taken this year, just since the outbreak, has taken more than 100 years.
Look, here's the lives.
It's just, I mean, think about it.
More lives this year than any other year for the past 100 years.
Okay, Senator, what's that mean?
Well, Hugh, that wasn't the smoothest delivery off a pre-written speech on a teleprompter.
I'm not sure I can translate it for you.
All right, then he asked the rhetorical question, cut number one.
Ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?
Really?
My answer is yes, because on one side you've got Kamala Harris, and on the other side you've got AOC, but what do you say, Senator?
Well, he looks like an empty suit that for 50 years has gone along with whatever fashion is ascendant in the Democratic Party.

Joanne, you're on with Dr. Strom and Larry.
Hi, thank you for taking my call.
My question is that if you've had COVID and after...
Your doctor releases you to go back to work.
And you take another test because your company requires that.
And you test positive.
Will you always test positive or will you eventually test negative?
That's a great question.
So you can test positive for a while even though after 14 days...
And the test is still positive.
Probably you're not as virulent or contagious.
Now, that test may stay positive for a while.
And there's a real debate in the medical community.
Did you never eradicate or is it a reinfection?
There are studies out in Asia about reinfection and we're all skeptical about that.
So it's probably you didn't eradicate yourself totally from the COVID. And it's ultimately going to go away.
But you're probably just detecting very, very low viral amounts.
Speaking of tests, doctor, last week, University of Arizona said that 13 student athletes had tested positive for COVID-19, which was a single-day record for the school.
Then they said, never mind, three days later, actually the number of positive tests was just two, meaning that the initial numbers were off by a factor of about six.
Yeah, I can't explain that.
I mean, that's the whole thing about the numbers that we're hearing.
I don't know what's right and who to believe.
I just don't think there's any standardization here, so I'm a little concerned about that.

Have you ever seen a story of corruption that just gives as much as their story, John?
No.
And you know what?
We don't have half of it yet.
That's what's so scary about what we're learning.
And I think we ought to bring everybody back to the beginning of impeachment because it's also worth calling out the false narrative that Democrats gave during impeachment.
Everyone who raised questions about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden was a Russian propagandist because there was nothing wrong that happened on Hunter Biden's watch when he was at Burisma.
Well, guess what?
State Department documents we got under a lawsuit this past weekend emphatically show that George Kent, the guy with the bow tie who made himself famous during the impeachment, a senior State Department...
One of the famous impeachment witnesses with his bow tie.
Absolutely.
Yes, yes, he made himself famous with that bow tie.
He wrote a memo delineating that while Hunter Biden was on the board and while Burisma was under corruption investigation by both the British and...
The Ukrainian authorities.
A Burisma representative paid a $7 million bribe to the Ukrainian prosecutor overseeing the case.
And the impact of that bribe was the prosecutor then went and shut down an aspect of the case that killed the British court case that was working its way through the British courts.
And Kent writes, not only did a prosecutor confirm the bribe occurred, so they got confirmation.
He wrote that it wasted a long amount of work by the FBI, which had been helping the Brits make a case against priesthood.
So we learned a lot from this memo.

A time of chaos, absurdity, some degree of evil, some degree of suffering.
We still love the Happiness Hour.
Every Friday, the second hour of the show, which reminds me, if you don't get all three hours, you can, PragerTopia.com.
It's the happy, happy, happy, happy hour!
I very rarely, since 1999, which you realize, give you an idea of how long-standing this happiness hour is.
It began in the 1900s.
Just one year before the 1900s was the 1800s.
Are you following me, Sean?
You missed a very powerful statement.
I'm not telling you.
No, no, no.
That's how long we have been broadcasting.
And...
I welcome you to the show.
In all of that time, I don't recall ever going back to a subject the next week.
But it is so important, and I have more thoughts on it, because it actually hit on a personal level.
I've never done this, you say, and you might know.
You might know, although you weren't born in 1999, but nevertheless.
So, he doesn't recall my doing it.
You don't recall my doing it.
It's very rare.
Okay.
But it's so important.
The issue is fear and how if you're fearful in general, you can't be a happy person.
So, I have a question for you.
I'm sure some of you have given this thought.
And as I said, it hit me on a personal level because there's a couple I love.
That's all I'll say about them.
A couple I know a long, long time.
And I learned, and I was frankly surprised, that one of them is quite afraid of COVID. And I would not have predicted it, to be honest.
And so it made me think, and the other...
Not part of the couple.
I'm not going to say even which sex.
just who loves his or her partner, or his or her spouse, doesn't quite understand why this generally rational person is so afraid.
So I've been thinking about this, and what produces a fearful person?
What produces a person who is rarely afraid?
I'm in the latter category.
And I am very analytic about myself.
I've always looked at me from outside of me.
So why aren't I afraid?
And it's an extremely interesting question.
Is it my upbringing?
Is it my nature?
Is it my commitment to reason?
And so I've come to the tentative conclusion.
It's all three.
Upbringing, nature, and commitment to reason.
My nature is not to be afraid.
But I wouldn't do silly things to take risks.
I wouldn't do what Evil Knievel did.
Take a motorcycle across the vast chasm of the Grand Canyon.
I wear seat belts.
I'm very adamant about wearing seat belts.
I get the latest cars because I like the safety aspects of, you know, if there's one thing cars do keep improving and it's the safety issue.
More airbags, better airbags, better ability to survive a collision, less likelihood of blowing up in a fire.
So, I care about that stuff.
I don't want to get sick and I don't want to die any more than anybody else does.
Although I don't walk around in fear of death.
It's another interesting fear that people have.
But I'm not going to talk about that now.
It might be a factor, I wonder.
You think fear of death and fear of COVID? See, by the way, there are two aspects to death.
Not wanting to die and fearing it.
They're not the same thing at all.
I don't want to, but I don't fear it.
But there are people who do fear it.
So I don't know.
I don't know if that's related, to be honest.
But anyway, there are three aspects.
Your nature, your upbringing, and reason.
So I'm very rationally oriented.
This is why the hysteria engulfing my country so disturbs me.
The irrational...
Reason is not enough to make a good world, but irrationality, governing policy and governing lives, makes a bad world.
That's a very scary thing.
It's a very scary prospect.
I read to you the first hour about Europe.
Europe has just announced, we have more cases, but we're going back to school and we're going back to work.
No more lockdowns.
In Italy, I mean the health minister, Italy, which was ravaged by the disease in the beginning.
No more lockdowns.
End of issue.
What American politician has said, a leading politician has said no more lockdowns?
Other than...
Governor Noem in South Dakota who never had a lockdown to begin with.
And her state has the lowest unemployment rate, I believe, in the country.
So you probably either are afraid or know someone who is afraid.
Tell me what you think.
Is it upbringing, nature, commitment to reason?
So, again, I'm using me as an example because I'm the one you're listening to, so you know me, and because I know me.
So, A, I know that I'm committed to reason.
Number two, it is my nature.
I don't like being afraid, like I don't like being unhappy.
The two are very related.
And an upbringing, I think, I told you, my father's motto to me, you can't keep him in a china closet.
That's what he would say to my mother.
Who was not excessively worried either, by the way.
I did not grow up with helicopter parents.
If anything, I'm just thinking, what metaphor could I use for my parents?
It was not helicopter parenting.
It was more like satellite parenting.
Right?
You know, helicopters hover above you, relatively near to you, compared to other flying objects.
My parents, they were like Sputnik.
That is correct.
Yes, that is right.
In fact, they were more like the rocket heading to Neptune.
Which, you know, we get a transmission from every three years.
I can't tell you, by the way, how grateful I am to my parents for not being helicopter parents.
You have no idea.
I think it cripples you.
It's as if my, you know, thank you parents for not, you know, rendering me handicapped.
The purpose of parenthood is to prepare you to be an adult, not to love you up.
Okay?
Well, you know what?
Let's do that on a happiness hour.
What's the purpose of parenting?
And use the example I just gave.
I can't think of a more, unfortunately, apt subject for the happiness hour at this time than fear.
That's why I'm revisiting it.
I mean, it's almost like an equation, you know.
The more F, the more U. The more fear, the more unhappiness.
Another one of my equations here.
So there are three ways to avoid it.
Reason, upbringing, and nature.
Any one of them should overcome it.
I think you have to have all three against you to be fearful.
Is that an early transmission from my parents?

Wendy, you're on the Larry Alder Show with Dr. Strom.
Just today on NBC, after work and watching, you got that Rosen report, and he's got these people on Skype having them do their temperature with various things.
They all supposedly have COVID, but they're all not.
Testing with a high temperature, it's either 98.1 or 97 or, you know, so isn't that the big key?
Everybody's taking everybody's temperature to decide whether or not they can go through an entrance or something?
Wendy, lookit, temperature is the only objective thing that we can test.
When I come into the hospital every day...
I get my temperature checked.
They spray my hands with a disinfectant, and they ask me if I have any COVID symptoms.
So the only symptom we can reliably, or the only objective sign is the temperature.
However...
Frequently, 40% of patients with COVID are totally asymptomatic, don't even have that.
So, just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean you cannot have COVID. But it's the only objective measure we can do to determine if somebody may be infectious.
And also, if you have a fever, though, it doesn't necessarily mean you have COVID. More likely than not, you do not have COVID with a fever.

The attack in LA County, those two police officers, one a 31-year-old mother of six, Somebody tried to paint this as random violence, a local council member.
Stephanie, walking up to a police car and shooting two police officers in the head isn't random or accidental, is it?
This is not random.
We can thank the Democrats for stoking this.
Violence and hatred against police officers.
They've been doing this for years.
We've seen it escalate as of recently, thanks to this defund police movement, the Black Lives Matter movement.
This video was really shocking.
It made me want to cry to see somebody pull out a gun and just shoot these two police officers point blank.
I mean, just, it's unbelievable.
And there's a lot of silence from the left on this.
And then the ones who are speaking out, like Joe Biden, they're calling for gun control.
What gun control measure would have stopped this criminal from shooting police officers?
Because if they were tougher gun laws in California, I'm sure he wouldn't have shot those two police officers in the head, right, Steph?
Correct, because the gun laws aren't already some of the strictest in the nation, of course.
So Biden is just so out of touch.
If you're going to speak on an issue like this, at least say something intelligent, have some compassion for the police officers who were shot.
And what really bothered me, aside from all of this, is did you see this video that was going viral of a man who was live streaming the aftermath of the shooting?
He had his cell phone out, and I don't know if these were his friends or there were other guys just in the background.
They're laughing.
They're celebrating that two police officers quote-unquote got aired out.

I have a lot to say, and I want to share it with you.
A happiness hour subject is fear, and I'm analyzing it because it struck me.
I did it last week.
I very rarely revisit one a week later.
But it is so ubiquitous at this time.
And it is such an obstacle to happiness that I have more thoughts on it because of a couple that I know so well for so long and I didn't know.
And they're both conservative, by the way.
They're both Republican.
They're both religious.
And one of them is quite afraid of COVID. And one is not.
So, upbringing, nature, and reason.
Those are the three contributors to whether or not you are a frightened person generally, or now, for that matter.
If you follow reason, you shouldn't be frightened.
If you have a non-easily frightened nature, you shouldn't be frightened if you were raised in a non-frighted But, if any one of those three is the other way around, that's enough to keep you frightened.
If reason doesn't guide you, in other words, if CNN guides you rather than reason, and I mean that literally, aside from no commitment to truth, CNN Has no commitment to reason.
They're very much related.
So it's the fear.
It's the fear channel.
You're surrounded by it.
So maybe that's one of the factors.
It seems rational to be frightened because there's so much fear spoken of.
Oh, cases, cases, cases.
So what?
So what?
The death statistics are what most matter.
That's 90% the other 10% is the small number of people who might be permanently injured by it Play this I think that our generation Has raised and even many parents starting with the parents from the the Well, I don't think the baby boomers' parents were fear-inducing.
But I think starting with the baby boomers as parents, and then the next generation, next generation.
Oh, don't do this.
Oh, you can't walk there alone.
Oh, don't go there at night.
Oh.
Well, I'll tell you...
This changed my life.
I know it's going to sound absurd to many of you.
It's okay.
I take that risk.
I believe that I have been...
My original deep suspicion was corroborated for over now decades.
But people are afraid that if they sit in a room with someone smoking...
They are in danger of dying.
Now, if you have asthma, I understand.
I'm talking about, it's like a cat, okay?
I do not breathe well around cats, but I don't believe a cat can kill me.
Now, obviously, you should not smoke around a person who will start coughing and wheezing.
Because of smoke.
It's courtesy.
It's human decency.
You're not going to put a cat on a person who's allergic to cat lap.
Right?
Right.
But the vast majority of people are not wheezing around smoke.
They may not like it.
That's a separate issue.
They're not going to die.
But a lot of people think that.
They'll die.
That is what opened me up to the ability of people on a mission that has little to do with truth.
The anti-smoking crowd lie as easily as Pravda did.
Because there is a new belief in America.
It's now quite old.
It's not new.
If you are on a good mission, you don't have to tell the truth all the time.
The mission to stop people smoking is more noble than the mission of telling the truth.
The mission of having women not have breast cancer is more important than telling the truth about how many breast exams they should get, or how often, I should say.
So there's a lot of fear-inducing.
All righty, everybody.

The country was founded on Judeo-Christian slash biblical principles and has abandoned them, and we live in the age of irrationality, narcissism, hysteria.
Interesting, huh?
You're taught at college that you get all this irrationality from religion, and look at where the irrationality is centralized today.
Anyway, these are important films for you and your family.

This is important.
Francine, Costa Mesa, California.
Hello.
Hey Dennis, how are you?
Okay, thank you.
Great.
My comment was that the people in my life who are now fearful are being pressurized by their children to be fearful.
Their children are saying, I don't want you to die.
You must stay at home.
I'll come to you.
And they're putting such pressure on their families to...
To not die.
And I really resent that, and I told one of my clients whose daughter is doing that to her, I said, this is wrong.
You should not come under your daughter's control like that.
It's not up to her how you choose to lead your life.
What does that mean, one of your clients?
Are you a therapist?
No, I'm a personal trainer.
Hey, by the way, that reminds me, I'm to ask you a question based on something that arose just the other day.
Are most personal trainers left or right politically or apolitical?
The ones that I've met and talked to are right.
More right because, especially during this virus, they're wondering why.
Our wonderful government that cares so much about our health isn't pushing anything to make us healthy.
That's right.
Like vitamins, exercise, eating right.
That's right.
Supplements, vitamin D. They should just be pushing vitamin D and zinc.
It's astonishing.
Amen!
That would do more to help people fight the virus than any other single thing.
Yes.
And you're right.
An exercise.
Exactly right.
I've been working out and I thank God for it.
But there's a very interesting point you make about the children putting the fear into the parents.
That's right.
And controlling them, as you say.
And controlling them.
Yes.
And these children, adult children, are leading their lives, you know, as they want.
Really, it angers me so much that I could just spit nails.
I just think, how dare you do this to your parents?
They brought you up.
They loved you.
Well, no, they would answer.
That's exactly why we do this.
We want to protect them, you know.
Better safe than sorry.
Sean, play that because it shows you how I have seen these things, these patterns for decades.
That's right.
That's our national anthem.
Better safe than sorry.
Yes, all right.
I'm sorry.
I got to take a quick break here.
She's a trainer, and she's here.
Yeah, yeah.
A trainer is somewhat like your hairstylist.
I think people open up to accountants.
It's interesting.
It's an interesting subject.
Who do people open up to?
I know they open up to accountants.
My father was one.
Personal trainers, women to hairstylists.
We'll be back.

Have you ever seen a story of corruption that just gives as much as this story, John?
No.
And you know what?
We don't have half of it yet.
That's what's so scary about what we're learning.
And I think we ought to bring everybody back to the beginning of impeachment because it's also worth calling out the false narrative that Democrats gave during impeachment.
Everyone who raised questions about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden was a Russian propagandist because there was nothing.
Wrong.
That happened on Hunter Biden's watch when he was at Burisma.
Well, guess what?
State Department documents we got under a lawsuit this past weekend emphatically show that George Kemp, the guy with the bow tie who made himself famous during the impeachment, a senior State Department...
One of the famous impeachment witnesses with his bow tie.
Absolutely.
Yes, yes, he made himself famous with that bow tie.
He wrote a memo, delineating.
That while Hunter Biden was on the board, and while Burisma was under corruption investigation by both the British and the Ukrainian authorities, a Burisma representative paid a $7 million bribe to the Ukrainian prosecutor overseeing the case.
And the impact of that bribe was the prosecutor then went and shut down an aspect of the case that killed the British court case that was working its way through the British courts.
And Kent writes, not only did a prosecutor confirm the vibe occurred, so they got confirmation, he wrote that it wasted a long amount of work by the FBI, which had been helping the Brits make a case against priesthood.
So we learned a lot from this memo.

*music* Now, Senator Cotton, yesterday in Pittsburgh, diners were assaulted again.
The President tweeted about it this morning.
That makes Rochester, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., of course, the unrest in Kenosha, the unrest in Portland.

And we go to Debbie in Sarasota, Florida.
Hello, Debbie.
Hi.
Hi.
How are you?
I'm okay.
My country isn't.
That's my standard response.
My general fear is that the left is winning, and I feel like they have been winning for probably over a hundred years, certainly in my lifetime.
And I think all Trump can do is slow it down, and I think that's what he's been trying to do.
So you're calling to say you have a fear, but it's not COVID? Well, that's a slight fear because of the control.
How the tactics of the left, the COVID virus, the virus, the indoctrination of our children and everything in our schools, it's frightening, frankly.
Well, I agree with you.
I agree.
This topic today is about irrational fear.
There are rational fears.
When city after city...
Vast swathes in the downtown area are destroyed, and the mayors and the governors do nothing, literally nothing, except announce that they want fewer police.
If you don't have fear, you are irrational.
See, there's an irony here of too few people fear the left, and too many people fear COVID. Of course, obviously, the left would say the opposite.
People like Prager don't fear COVID and they fear us progressives.
We're kind, open-minded, lovers of free speech, non-violent, lovers of America, left.
Okay?
So, I'm not saying that It's not even desirable to have no fear.
You won't act on it.
If you're attacked by a lion, you should have fear because the adrenaline should run.
And you should figure out if there's any way to avoid being eaten.
But I don't think you'll be eaten by COVID. That's irrational.
As I reported last hour in Europe, they are saying, COVID is here.
It's even flaring up again.
However, we are going to go to school and we are going to go to work.
If, as with spectacularly stupid people like Andrew Cuomo, the view is, if you save one life, it is worth crushing the lives of millions.
That's what they believe.
Or that's what they say.
It's hard to believe they believe it because it's spectacularly stupid.
Every time we raise the speed limit, we are in fact killing people.
Thank you.
But we don't stop raising speed limits because it is better for society to have a 65 than a 55. And a 55, then a 45. But people will die as we know it.
This is a statistic.
It's a true statistic, which is what all statistics should be, but in any event, it is.
This hour is about irrational fear, about being a frightened human being.
And that doesn't mean that there aren't things to fear.
All right, and Dottie in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hello, Dottie.
Hello, Dennis.
Thank you, and I met you during the movie of No Safe Spaces.
Oh, great.
Thank you.
In Scottsdale, a wonderful movie.
I'm calling about a friend.
She's teaching her daughter, adult daughter, Do not even allow her to see the granddaughters because she's, you know, she's taught them from even childhood, five years old about ten years ago, to even stand up against the car with her hands flat.
When she gets out of the car and wants to get her briefcase out.
Why?
I'm sorry.
Why can't you put your hands on the car?
I've never heard this.
Well, my point is she's teaching them to make sure she can know where they're at.
Right.
No, but I didn't understand the car reference.
So she can get her briefcase out and know where the child is.
Not running off, but it's just she's it bothers me.
She will not allow them to come and visit her.
Yeah, of course exactly Look the I See this I've seen this my whole life the way parents raise their children from the early stages about a stranger danger Yes,
there is stranger danger, but is also a danger in thinking all strangers are dangers This is what has happened to the college graduate, because college, I do believe, makes you foolish, makes you stupid, actually.
You don't, because the smallest amount, the minimum intelligence always asks, what is the price paid?
If I teach my child to avoid all strangers, Then they might, in fact, not be kidnapped by a stranger, which by the way is unbelievably rare.
But what is the price that they have paid?
What is the price you're paying?
Big question.

Do you hear what Fauci said to MSNBC over the weekend?
Listen to this.
And I said what I've been saying all along, that I believe that we will have a vaccine that will be available by the end of this year, the beginning of next year.
But by the time you mobilize the distribution of the vaccinations and you get the majority or more of the population vaccinated and protected, that's likely not going to happen to the mid or end of 2021. So in direct response to that person's question,
I said, if you're talking about getting back to a degree of normality, which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it's going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021. Wow.
Now, I debated internally whether to play that clip or not because I know how despondent, how depressed, How much despair Fauci is engendering with that comment.
I thought about a buddy of mine last night who refused to watch the Dallas Cowboys play football.
And I admit, I watched some NFL yesterday.
Because I, like you, want some sliver of normal.
It's not normal to see players take a knee during the national anthem.
And for me, a personal decision was, I'm not going to let them prevent me from having a little bit of entertainment in that venue.
Friend of mine, Mark Davis in Dallas, one knee, I'm out.

Let me ask you very quickly about Senator Harris.
I think when she threw doubt on the vaccine, she did a terrible disservice to America.
Everybody's got to be on the same page when a vaccine is approved, that people who are in risk groups take it.
Were you shocked that she actually threw doubt?
Because that's going to make it much more difficult to get people to become vaccinated.
It's very disappointing to see Senator Harris throw in with the anti-vaccine crowd.
Look, the world's leading scientists and researchers are all racing to try to find a safe and effective vaccine for the coronavirus.
And I am 100% confident that those world-class scientists and researchers, along with our public health agencies, will only put on the market a vaccine that is safe and effective.
This is a classic of the happiness hour.
That's right.
That's the motto here.
You could be happy if you've a mind, too.
All right, my friends.
Let me review your calls.
Don't hang up.
By the way, somebody called and hung up, and they wanted to say that those who believe in God don't have fear.
The issue here is fear on this Happiness Hour and the staggering amount of irrational fear over COVID. I guess that's the only explanation for why people are okay with having their businesses crushed,
their ability to pay their rent crushed, their ability to receive rent crushed, in the name of staying safe.
I never thought I would see this in America.
Six months.
People deprived of being able to make a living and sending their kids to school over essentially nothing.
Oh, 200,000 deaths is nothing?
No, that's not nothing.
It's a virus.
Viruses kill.
The flu kills.
The Hong Kong flu in 68, 69 killed 100,000 Americans, equivalent to 170,000 today, 165,000.
And that killed a lot of young people.
This doesn't.
If we are going to lock down society every time there is a virus, then it is the end of society as we know it, which for some people is just fine.
But not if you actually love people and care about them.
Anyway, somebody called in and said, well, if you believe in God, it's not true.
If you believe in God, you could still have fears, although God says, One thing to human beings in the Bible more than any other.
Do not fear.
That is interesting.
I believe in God.
I fear the left.
I don't fear COVID. I don't fear dying.
I fear America dying.
It's too noble an experiment for me to sit by and watch it destroyed.
Anyway, let's see here.
David in Auburn, California.
Grandma who experienced 1918 influenza taught me not to be fearful.
That's a good one.
Katherine in Chicago.
Her daughter wishes that she would be fearful and not live life as normal.
Too bad for her.
That's correct.
David in Chicago.
Stay on.
I want to take that call.
Bill is right.
In Louisiana, lack of knowledge causes irrational fear.
The problem is they think they do know.
Folks, you want to have a better life?
I mean it.

And what we did, I had an idea.
I said, I wanted to bring all these Democrats in that we're flipping, okay?
Some of them lifelong Democrats.
And I didn't want to meet them ahead of time.
I wanted to be very organic like my pillow ads are.
And I wanted to be the host and ask them, well, why are you flipping?
And it was so powerful when these come out.
Some of the reasons, one of the common things that you just mentioned before was that we had talked about, so many of them said, you know, what I thought the Democratic Party was, where they always made promises for family values and to help people, I started looking back and going, it never came to fruition after they got elected.
But with this great president, he did what the Democrats said they were going to do, and a lot of them said, you know, I don't even, you know, maybe they had something, they didn't like the president for something, but they're going, you know what, I like what he's done, and therefore I'm switching.
One guy, he had never voted Republican in his life, and his reason was, my party, that ship sailed.
It's no longer that party.
That ship sailed.
A thousand years ago, we are now dealing with a party that is absolutely sold out to socialist Bernie and others.

Cut number three.
I am not banning fracking.
Let me say that again.
I am not banning fracking, no matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.
Well, Hugh, that wasn't the smoothest delivery off a pre-written speech on a teleprompter, but I'm not sure I can translate it for you.
All right, then he asked a rhetorical question, cut number one.
Ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?
Really?
My answer is yes, because on one side you've got Kamala Harris, and on the other side you've got AOC, but what do you say, Senator?
- Well, he looks like an empty suit that for 50 years has gone along with whatever fad and fashion is ascendant in the Democratic Party.

Hi, thank you for taking my call.
My question is that if you've had COVID and after your doctor releases you to go back to work and you take another test because your company requires that and you test positive, will you always test positive or will you eventually test negative?
That's a great question.
So, you can test positive for a while even though after 14 days and the test is still positive, probably you're not as virulent or contagious.
Now, that test may stay positive for a while and there's a real debate in the medical community, is that, did you never eradicate or is it a reinfection?
There were studies out in Asia about reinfection and we're all skeptical about that.
So it's probably, you didn't eradicate yourself totally from the COVID, and it's ultimately going to go away.
But you're probably just detecting very, very low viral amounts.
Speaking of tests, doctor, last week, University of Arizona said that 13 student-athletes had tested positive for COVID-19, which was a single-day record for the school.
Then they said, never mind, three days later, actually the number...
A positive test was just two, meaning that the initial numbers were off by a factor of about six.
Yeah, I can't explain that.
I mean, that's the whole thing about the numbers that we're hearing.
I don't know what's right and who to believe.
I just don't think there's any standardization here, so I'm a little concerned about that.

But...
Just the topic, or I've covered it, or I don't know anything about it.
I mean, you know, if you call in and say, you know, so Dennis, what's your take on Golgi Bodies' role in COVID? I wouldn't take the call.

Just...
I'm not going to go further on that, but I just thought I'd share that with you.
And anyway, look it up.
G-O-L-G-I. Yes, indeed.
That's all I remember along with mitochondria.
Mitochondria better known than Golgi bodies.
I might add, as I usually do, that I particularly welcome calls on photography equipment, audio equipment, fountain pens, and, uh, oh, cigars, yeah, that's right, cigars.
Oh, my friends, life.
You know, there's a terrible irony about life in America right now.
It is so tense, and there is no reason whatsoever for it to be tense.
It's all manufactured.
Do you realize that?
We live in manufactured tension.
This should be, I mean, putting COVID aside, this should be, and you say, well, you can't put it aside.
Well, you can.
The tension is partially COVID, but it...
Predates COVID and post-date COVID. The reaction to COVID is a major source of tension.
The crushed lives, the crushed savings, for no reason.
Half a year after it began, I still can't go into a restaurant where I live in Southern California.
It's as close to pure absurd as anything...
No, it is...
Yes, it's closer than anything in American history.
There have been bad things, but I'm just talking the absurd.
Truly absurd.
Anyway, this should be...
America's at peace overwhelmingly.
Massive prosperity prior to the lockdown, not to COVID. Never use the words interchangeably.
COVID crushed the economy, excuse me, lockdowns crushed the economy, not COVID. Or as it was called in the beginning, until the media banned it, the Wuhan flu.
All the flus until now were named after their place of origin.
Hong Kong flu, biggest one.
Now you can't do that anymore.
We live in the world of lies created by the world of lies of the left.
You're a xenophobe if you say the China flu or the Wuhan flu.
That makes you a hater of Chinese.
It's senseless.
It's purely senseless.
If it started in Canada, well, we wouldn't call it the Canada flu?
Or are we xenophobic vis-a-vis Canada?
Alright, this is the hour.
Call in, and we will take the call.
We, I like that.
I will.
Okie dokie.
Milford, Pennsylvania.
Matt.
Hello, Matt.
Hey, Bennett.
How are you?
Okay.
I just wanted to say how much I love your show.
Thank you.
So my question to you is this.
I'm the youngest of seven in my family.
Wow.
Catholic family?
Yeah.
Some of us have, you know...
Left the church.
I'm well aware.
Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, exactly.
My question for you is that brothers who are literally a year apart, all three of us, so they're intelligent, successful people.
They just don't believe a word that...
It comes out of the actual news, they don't even acknowledge that there were any riots, and if there was, it was, I mean, some of the stuff is just preposterous.
I mean, it's unbelievable.
You know, it's Putin and his people brought in by Trump.
I mean, and these are very, and they haven't sent, but, I mean, I understand that's what they're seeing from the news.
I mean, maybe not that far, but how do you approach, I mean, I'm trying to just, You know, let me say,
if your brothers or anyone in your life does not accept the fact that the left produced an unprecedented amount of violence, then Then there's really nothing to be said.
You see, when people differ on facts, there's no hope.
When people differ on opinion, there's hope.
I mean, see, I'll take a silly example.
It's a very bright sun out.
So, two people say, you know, I want sunglasses with the darkest possible sunglasses.
Another one says, you know, it's not a good idea because as soon as the sun goes behind clouds, things will be too dark.
In other words, you both acknowledge it's bright outside.
So the debate is what type of sunglasses are best.
But if one person says, what are you talking about?
There's no sun now.
There's a cloud cover.
Then there's nothing to be discussed.
If you deny that the left has created 99% of the violence of the last six months, and that it's been accepted by left-wing Democratic mayors and governors, if you deny that, There is truly, there's nothing to discuss.
I feel for you.
So talk to your brothers about family life.
And about, well, I was going to say about the Phillies.
On the assumption you're in eastern Pennsylvania.
Or the pirates if you're in western Pennsylvania.
But I wouldn't even do that anymore because I've been alienated from sports because of the contempt for me and for America that they have shown and been proud of.
The left has succeeded in ruining sports because everything they touch, they ruin.
They don't like happy people.
All right, Gerald, also in Pennsylvania.
Hazleton, hello.
Hello, Dennis.
First-time caller, long-time listener.
How are you doing, sir?
Thank you.
Good to hear from you.
Yes, sir.
I'm a big Phillies fan, so I'm disappointed.
But being a fellow Judeo-Christian, in the books of Proverbs, the first chapter, verse 7, it says, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge.
So obviously the biggest fear we have is of the Lord.
My follow-up point is that in order to acknowledge that racism is evil, you have to believe in the Lord or creator of this universe that instilled that morality within us.
And I remember one of my favorite videos from PragerU was from March 2017. You did a video that said, if there is no God, then murder is not evil.
That's right.
That's a very important one.
I'll be back in a moment.

And I didn't want to meet them ahead of time.
I wanted to be very organic like my pillow ads are.

And it was so powerful when these come out.
Some of the reasons, one of the common things that you just mentioned before was that we had talked about, so many of them said, you know, what I thought the Democratic Party was, where they always made promises for family values and to help people, I looked at, I started looking back and going, it never came to fruition after they got elected.

One guy, he had never voted Republican in his life, and his reason was, my party, that ship sailed.
It's no longer that party.
That ship sailed.
A thousand years ago, we are now dealing with a party that is absolutely sold out to socialist Bernie and others.
I mean, can you imagine that Joe Biden, who some people would think of as a centrist, which is why they put him forward, he is partnering with Beto O'Rourke on guns, with AOC on the Green New Deal.

Hey, I want to remind you about Keep America America.
It's a major campaign of the Job Creators Network.
Virtually all my conservative colleagues in talk radio are involved in this.
And it's something that you can do to help Keep America America, which is really what it is entirely about.
Of course, that's exactly what the left would agree.
Conservatives want to keep America, America, but America stinks, so why would we want to keep America, America?
We want to fundamentally transform it.
The foolish ingrates of the left.
Every single leftist is a foolish ingrate with regard to America.
I can't stand ingratitude.
It's the ugliest of the traits.
It's an ugly thing and it's also ignorant.
They don't know how exceptional America is.
They don't know what else there is in the world.
They're so narrow-minded.
So KeepAmericaAmerica.com to find out what you can do to get the vote out.
And you've got to do something and that's one of the things you can do.
KeepAmericaAmerica.com On behalf of America, thank you.
All right.
Let's go on here.
So Gerald and Hazleton, he was talking about a PragerU video and God.
And wisdom and so on.
And let me just summarize.
Part of the BLM mission is to eliminate the nuclear family.
They acknowledge that.
Read their charter.
The left has contempt for the nuclear family.
Ozzie and Harriet, father knows best.
Oh, God.
Oh, phew.
Oh, we are more sophisticated.
We have a village to raise kids.
They don't need parents.
They don't need two parents.
They certainly don't need fathers with their toxic masculinity.
That's correct.
And people who make families and believe in them support the Black Lives Matter movement.
It's quite remarkable.
It's as close to a communist movement of any size as we've ever had in the United States.
And it gets tens upon tens of millions of dollars from corporations.
Okay.
Alrighty, everybody.
We take calls on everything, so I'm going to take this one.
Dale in Detroit.
Hi.
Hi, Dennis.
It's always a pleasure.
Thank you.
Hey, I want to solve your used CD dilemma, purchasing used CDs, so that you can go out and purchase them for you.
So my solution to that is, it's not the buyer's responsibility to know if the seller has done something immoral or illegal like saving a copy of it.
An example of that is...
I'm sure you buy used books before.
Yeah, but nobody does a photocopy of every page of a book.
Well, how do you know that?
Because I live in the real world.
I mean, how do I know that they didn't do that about a book, or how do I know that they did make a copy of a CD? But it's not the buyer's responsibility.
Well, it is.
Why isn't that?
It's the seller that's doing the immoral...
Correct.
Yeah, but that's like saying, if I buy stolen goods, and I have reason to think they're stolen goods, of course I'm morally responsible.
Well, I don't think that you should feel...
Like you're doing something bad if it's not your responsibility to know what the seller did.
All right.
Well, again, I don't know, but I have reason to suspect.
I don't know why anybody would sell a CD if they didn't already simply rip the contents.
That's what people do.
I have thousands of CDs that I bought, and I ripped the contents just for the convenience of listening to them from a hard drive.
Instead of having to put a CD on.
As it turns out, CDs sound better than ripped on a computer, but that's not a discussion for now.
For those of you who don't follow the dilemma, there are still people who buy compact discs.
I am one of them.
Often there is a serious price differential between a used CD and a new CD. Sometimes it's within a couple of dollars.
I almost always prefer to give the artist the money.
But, you know, if the new one is $50 and the used one is $4, then it becomes a very real issue because I'm not going to spend $50 for a new CD. So the issue there is not even which will I buy.
Or will I buy the new one or the other?
I won't buy the new one even if there weren't a used one.
I don't know why anybody would sell a CD if they didn't already take the contents off the CD and then they sell it.
So that's buying stolen goods to me.
That's it.
That's the problem I have.
All right.
Thank you, Dale.
I appreciate it.
You raised an important point.
Let's go to Kristen in Richmond, Virginia.
Hello.
Hi, thank you so much.
I just wanted to talk about the Moderna vaccine that's being in current trials right now.
And Moderna is a company that is known for coming up with the genetically modified organism, their founder.
However, Moderna has never produced...
Anything, no medicine, nothing that they've actually sold.
And with their vaccine, it's actually an RNA vaccine, where it will change people's DNA. They have nanotechnology, luciferase, which is a bioluminescence, as well as the vaccine.
Now, I don't know if anybody has heard about COVID-19, but that is something that I think is going to be coming up.
I've seen it in multiple different governments.
And what it's going to do is act as papers.
Instead of, you know, show me your papers, it's basically show me the COVID Pass app.
It scans with the bioluminescence and the mirror technology, and it allows for them to know that you've been vaccinated.
So doctors, you know, it won't be their word.
It will be show me.
Well, let me just say this, because not everybody knows everything you're referring to, of course, including me.
I know a lot about this.
I follow, but not everything that you've said.
I 100% disagree with the President on his constant talk about vaccines as the solution.
The talk about lockdown till vaccine is criminal, in my opinion, morally and legally criminal.
Vast numbers of people.
I've taken every vaccine there is.
This is not a vaccine I will take.
I am not alone.

show Senator, here's Joe Biden yesterday talking about fracking.
Cut number three.
I am not banning fracking.
Let me say that again.
I am not banning fracking.
No matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.
Now, he is for fracking after he was against it, Senator Cotton.
I've played a number of montages where he's been against fracking, new fracking, old fracking, fossil fuels.
How in the world can people ignore this?
Well, Hugh, let's give Joe the benefit of the doubt.
And let's not assume that he's lying.
Well, Hugh, that wasn't the smoothest delivery off a pre-written speech on a telecompter, but I'm not sure I can translate it for you.
All right, then he asked a rhetorical question, cut number one.
Ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?
Really?
My answer is yes, because on one side you've got Kamala Harris, and on the other side you've got AOC, but what do you say, Senator?
Well, he looks like an empty suit that for 50 years has gone along with whatever fad and fashion is ascendant in the Democratic Party.
Joanne is in Chicago.
Joanne you're on with doctors all right y'all.
Dennis Prager here I will redress this more next week but the president's preoccupation with a vaccine is not mine A rushed vaccine, in any event, is not one I would take.
I am much more scared of a rushed vaccine than I am of COVID. You pick your fear, I guess.
Also, the answer to this is I don't believe a vaccine in any event.
The flu vaccine, and the flu is a variant of COVID-19.
The flu vaccine, everyone acknowledges, is not effective for about 50% of the people who take it.
But I don't care.
I mean, I've taken flu vaccines.
Nothing has happened.
I didn't get the flu, and I didn't get sick from the vaccine.
And one might say, well, they're rushed.
Maybe so.
They must be, I guess.
But my fear on this one is that this will be the road to a dystopian future, wherein if you're not vaccinated, you will not be allowed into a restaurant or on an airplane.
I don't normally have such fears, but right now, I would put nothing beyond the scope of totalitarianism in the name of safety.
My belief is that you act normally, guarding the most likely, that is the most vulnerable, most likely to contract the illness and perhaps die.
And that you work on therapeutics, which already exist in the form of hydroxychloroquine and zinc in the early stages.
There are so many studies that confirm it.
The biggest study that denied it was called a fraud by the place that published it.
The editor of Lancet, the most prestigious science journal in Britain, called the study that debunked Hydroxychloroquine a fraud.
Because it was.
It was subsidized by pharmaceutical companies who make nothing on hydroxychloroquine and make a fortune on things like remdesivir.
Okay, everybody.
Good stuff on board here.
And let's go to Westminster, South Carolina.
Frida.
Hello, Frida.
Hey Dennis, I love your show.
I've learned so much.
Good.
Can you help me understand why the Jews are God's chosen?
I'm not sure I can because we have no idea why.
Are you there?
you Thank you.
Did I lose Frida?
I guess I lost her.
Maybe she fainted.
Maybe the answer just toppled her over.
I have written an immense amount on chosenness.
I believe that the Jews are God's chosen people.
Chosen never even implies innate superiority.
In fact, the Bible itself, you read my commentary on the Bible, the rational Bible, I show this, I mean, I cite the verse.
It's not because you're big or special that I chose you, but because you're so small.
That a very tiny people called the Israelites were chosen.
That is, ultimately, given the Torah.
That's what chosenness is essentially about.
To live by it and to spread it to the world.
If they succeeded, and in Deuteronomy Moses says, if you live by this Torah, you will be a superior nation to all the other nations.
And the fact is, the Jews have influenced the world, not only disproportionately, but But in some ways more than any other single nation.
But it's not because the Jews are any better.
It's because the Torah, the Bible, the teachings are better.
They're the basis of Christianity.
Christians wouldn't deny that.
If you take a very small people, you give them a set of instructions and they become a really important people, then the instructions are what is great, not the people.
All right, Relief Factor.
Relief Factor is the chosen supplement, not just for chosen people, but you too can be chosen if you take Relief Factor.

Hello.
How are you?
I'm fine.
My country isn't.
Oh, gosh.
Sorry to hear that.
I've got family in North Carolina.
I'm wondering if I should tell them to vote twice.
And the basis of the question is?
Would you do subscribe to what the president suggested?
I didn't know he suggested that, and if he was serious, it's ridiculous, and if he wasn't serious, it's hilarious.
Well, I think he was serious.
He said it several times.
He repeated it.
He suggested when he was here that if your tally is not on the ballot, when you go to vote, vote again.
You think that's pretty good thinking?
No.
I don't know anybody who seriously thinks a Republican should vote twice.
Our worry is that the cheating will be in the other direction, because in virtually every case in my lifetime, when votes were found in close elections, there are always Democratic votes that are found.
Well, let me understand, Dennis.
Are you saying that the president said this in jest?
I don't know.
Listen, until your call, I leveled with people.
I took your call knowing what you were going to say, and I did not know what he said.
I have to hear it in context, but I gave you my honest answer.
If it was in jest, it's hilarious.
If it wasn't in jest, I disagree with him.
Okay, fair enough.
Can I ask you one quick little...
No, no, you can't, only because of time.
But I'm glad you called, and it's very fair to ask me.
Look, so this would be twice today.
I disagreed with the President.
Folks, I supported Donald Trump in 2016 because I would support a lima bean against the left.
The left is destroying this country.
If you don't understand that...
See, if you're a leftist, you know that it's true and you support it.
You want to destroy this systemically racist, misogynist, toxically patriarchal country.
You think it's a scummy place.
You want to undo it.
So if you're a leftist, you agree with me.
You just think it deserves to be destroyed.
But if you are not a leftist and you do not recognize that, your ability to self-delude...
is more scary to me than the left.
Liberals are in some ways more depressing than leftists.
Leftists destroy.
Liberals enable them to destroy, even though they don't agree with anything the left stands for.
Trump is not the issue.
America is the issue.
Okay?
That's just the way it is.
In terms of policy, he's been one of the greatest presidents in American history.
In terms of rhetoric, I'm not a big fan.
On the other hand, he has said while he's accused of all these lies, the left is built on lies, as I point out on a regular basis.
And secondly, he also says more truths.
They can't stand the fact that he says truths.
Oh, he's alienating our NATO partners.
No, he's telling the truth about our NATO partners.
You didn't do a damn thing while America is covered for you.
While America has put our troops in Europe.
While America has spent far more on defense than you have, even though you're obligated to spend more on defense.
Good.
I'm glad he said it.
All right.
Let's go to...
Okay.
Eric, Los Angeles.
Hello.
Mr. Prager, it's an honor.
Thank you so much.
How old are you, Eric?
I'm 16. Right.
Are you homeschooled or Zoom schooled?

One of the downsides of being able to turn my mother on to conservatism is now that she's very afraid of the left.
Why is that a downside?
Because she has more fears now than before?
Yes, and she wasn't very politically.
She's scared for me because I opened my mouth and I try to get involved and stick up for what I believe in and she's scared that I'm going to get hurt.
PragerU videos affected your mother?
Yes.

It's usually the mothers or fathers telling me that the Prager videos affected their kid.

about getting back to a degree of normality which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it's going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021. Wow.
Now, I debated internally whether to play that clip or not because I know how despondent, how depressed, how much despair Fauci is engendering with that comment.

And I admit, I watched some NFL yesterday because I, like you, Want some sliver of normal.

Have you talked to Senator Harris yet about throwing in with the anti-vaxxers?
I have not been on her short call list over these last couple days, Hugh.
Everybody?
Phoenix, Arizona, Sue.
Hello, Sue.
Thank you for taking my call.
I listened to Donald Trump say, when you go to Election Day, go to the ballot places and check to see if they have registered your vote.
If they haven't, write down, take a provisional ballot.
And give them that provisional pallet in case your first pallet did not make it through.
I guess at the polling places you have provisional pallets in case of that.
Okay.
I didn't know about that.
I thank you.
And if you're right, then there was a misrepresentation in the previous call, and I appreciate that.
