The Born Again Virgins and The Simps | Pearl Daily

The Born Again Virgins and The Simps dives into the church’s misunderstood role, rejecting attacks on faith while dissecting societal trends through lived experience—growing up in wealth with early solo trips to Germany (age 10) and Japan (age 12), living abroad with nannies from multiple cultures, then interviewing 1,000 London women at 18. Their global, unconventional upbringing fuels sharp observations on power dynamics, marriage, and modern relationships, revealing how privilege and exposure shape radical critiques of tradition. Time Text
YouTube channel, and welcome to another episode of Pearl Daily, where I cover this week's treachery, debauchery, and craziness and really just give my opinions on the world.
So, we have a lot to talk about today.
We have a lot to talk about today.
But, you know, before we really get into the meat, the grind, griminess, the down and dirty of today's topic, which is what do we title this?
The Simps, The Simps, The Born-Again Virgins, and the Controlling Wives.
Today we're talking about the church.
However, I know this is a sensitive topic.
And oftentimes, when I talk about the church, people conflate it to me attacking God and religion.
And before we start the stream, I'm going to give a million disclaimers because I do not want my words to be taken out of context.
I do not want people to tell me that I am saying things I did not say.
But I have to be honest.
And the whole point of my show is to tell you about what I see going on in society.
You know, I have a lot of unique insights.
And I don't think people realize I guess how unique of a life that I've lived.
You know, growing up, I would say I grew up in a pretty well-off area.
And I grew up traveling the world.
When I was 10, I went to Japan by myself.
Oh, wait, no, Germany when I was 10.
Japan when I was 12.
Okay.
I lived in different countries, you know, when I was young.
Like when I was 18, I went to Germany and I lived with my German nanny at the time.
I grew up with nannies from around the world.
I have a very, you know, I would say unique point of view.
I then traveled to London, right, to play volleyball.
And I ended up interviewing a thousand women.
