Sept. 9, 2022 - Part Of The Problem - Dave Smith
53:57
The Cover Up Is The Story

Dave Smith and Robbie Bernstein dissect the alleged cover-up of Hunter Biden's Burisma kickbacks, arguing that intelligence agencies suppressed evidence to secure Joe Biden's election victory. They critique the administration's dishonesty while predicting a pivot from pandemic narratives to totalitarian climate mandates like EV bans. The discussion incorporates Donald Trump's claims that Biden caused more damage than five worst presidents combined, citing energy grid failures and reliance on Chinese battery technology as proof that green energy policies are economically unfeasible and dangerous for industrialized societies. So go check that out.
All right.
So what I want to talk about opening up today was a story that, Rob, you had brought up a couple of days ago as it was beginning to develop.
And I was like, okay, I got to look a little bit more into this, but then we should definitely talk about it.
But there was a real interesting dynamic with what happened here at the FBI.
So basically, there was a resignation of a top FBI official.
They call him a top-level FBI agent is how he was described by CNN News.
The guy's name is Timothy Tybalt?
Timothy Tybalt?
I don't know, something like that.
So he's a top-level FBI agent, and he resigned.
Now, they're trying to kind of play this off like, well, he was of retirement age or blah, blah, blah.
The problem is that he was removed from several of his duties in the weeks leading up to it.
And it just seemed like something was going on here.
And then the real problem is that evidently there had been several whistleblowers who had gone to Congressman Grassley and had said that this guy was a really partisan guy.
A lot of his social media posts back this up, and that he was the guy who really suppressed the Hunter Biden investigation.
And so this has come out now, and there's a couple other pieces to this that I find very interesting.
Any thoughts on just that initial part of it, Rob?
I would just add one thing, which is he was removed from his post about two weeks after the head of the FBI was brought to the Senate committee hearing.
And the guy, I always forget his name, but there's a guy from, I think it's Arkansas, and he just talks like he would own slaves, but he's great.
He's awesome in all of these meetings.
I always forget his name.
I know what you're talking about.
I'm blinking on his name as well.
Yes.
And he's real slow with it, but he was grilling him on this.
And he really could not, not only could he not answer any questions, he refused to address whether or not he was still working on the Hunter Biden thing.
He just kept the head of the FBI kept skirting it and going, well, that's being handled by a different office, but he wouldn't actually say that he's not working on it.
And then suspiciously, about a week and a half, two weeks later, he was just removed from the FBI.
But it was pretty evident that the guy sitting there at the FBI was like, oh, shit, we just got caught.
Yes.
And now, another piece of information that's come out that I thought was really interesting about all of this was that Bobolinski, I believe if I'm saying his name correctly.
Sorry, guys.
I do apologize.
I am really terrible with names when I've just got bad names.
It's on them.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
It is partly on them.
So like you, Smith, you keep it simple.
You're doing people nice and easy.
You can't mess that one up.
Why can't you have, why can't we fucking, why can't we ever just have a society where everyone has to have a name as simple as that?
That's what I'm, that's what I'm pushing for.
Voluntarily, of course, voluntarily.
I want to convince them.
So with this Timothy Tybalt guy being fired, another piece of information that's come out is that this Bobolinski fellow.
Now, you guys might remember him if you recall when this, you know, October surprise of the Hunter Biden laptop story first came out.
This guy went on Tucker Carlson's show and he was Hunter Biden's business partner.
And he went and went on Tucker Carlson's show weeks before the election.
And this was like a big kind of deal, even though this story was so intensely suppressed by the corporate press and by the tech companies.
But he went on Tucker Carlson's show and was like, look, I am Hunter Biden's business partner in all of these deals.
We run the company together.
And I'm telling you that Joe Biden was involved with all of these kickbacks and that I personally met him on multiple occasions and discussed this business and how like he was getting money off of this shit.
And so Joe Biden is on record saying, I've never discussed my son's business with him, which already, look, let's just be real, does not really pass the sniff test.
Like no one could really argue that Burisma or these Chinese companies were hiring, you know, Hunter Biden for any reason other than he's Joe Biden's kid.
And just the idea that that topic never came up between Hunter and his dad seems hard to believe.
But here now you have Hunter Biden's business partner saying, no, no, no, this 100% didn't happen.
Well, what's come out since then is that evidently he didn't just say this to Tucker Carlson.
He also told this to the FBI.
He went to the FBI and told them this entire story.
Now, this guy is a, he's a followed up with the Epstein safe.
Right.
Yeah.
They put, they go, oh, thank you for telling us.
We know just where to put this.
It's his testimony is on the refrigerator at the FBI headquarters somewhere.
But so now this guy was a former naval officer who had like high security clearance.
He's a businessman.
This is, you know, somebody who you would think that this would be a big deal in an investigation that now you have like a major player in this saying that a president at the time, former vice president, presidential nominee is like, no, he's he's connected to this and he's taking money from these foreign countries that his son is trading his name off of.
So this is another very, you know, kind of revealing when you put this all into context, into context.
And there's a lot of context here.
The most important piece to remember with all of this is that the FBI at the time that this is happening is publicly saying that the laptop is Russian disinformation.
Now, clearly, this is at least enough evidence to know that they knew this was not Russian disinformation.
Now, I'm not saying they knew for sure that Joe Biden was in on the deal or that he was taking money.
All they have is one, you know, credible eyewitness, you know, testimony of that.
But they sure as hell knew that the laptop was not Russian disinformation.
And so that's kind of a big story in itself.
And then, of course, let's put all of the rest of this into context.
First off, when we, you know, I'm sorry, me and you, the week of this laptop being revealed, called this puppy 100% right.
So it's clear.
It was clear already that it was, that this was really Hunter Biden's laptop.
That was clear from the very beginning.
We got that story, you know, a year, a year and a half before the New York Times and the Washington Post admitted it.
But it's not that we're so much smarter than all these people.
The FBI fucking knew this too, right?
And now you have, so now you have the same FBI that warned Mark Zuckerberg that there was going to be this Russian dump.
You have the same FBI that's been working to frame Donald Trump for the past four years and the same FBI that just raided Donald Trump's home and is now in the process of drumming up charges against him.
These same guys absolutely sat on this Hunter Biden information while they went out and told the American people that this was all Russian disinformation.
It's like with all these stories.
It's like with the Russiagate thing itself.
It's just like, man, when all this information comes out together and you start putting the pieces together, it's so overwhelming and damning.
Like this is, it's just so clear what's happening here.
And you're like, oh, yeah, you guys fucking buried this.
You buried this story.
And they're very effective with the timing.
So it's like, you know, they ruined, it's like, we get the truth, but it's always too late.
And it's already had its effects.
You can't undo it.
So it's like, you know, Trump didn't kind of, he really didn't get the first few years of his presidency because they made up the Russia collusion story.
He can't undo that.
And then he lost this next election.
Because if this story had come out, he probably would have won the election.
I mean, it would have been the Hillary Clinton thing all over again.
Well, you got to, the thing about it is, right, is that even when you like, let's assuming, you know, there's no voter fraud or anything like that, right?
Like all the votes, even when you look at the difference in votes, or it'll be like, you know, you say, like, oh, Donald Trump, whatever the final tally was, like Donald Trump got 74 million and Joe Biden got 81 million or something like that.
And you look at that and you go, oh, well, that's not that close, you know?
But if you actually look at the way the Electoral College like map breaks down, there's like these key swing states.
And then within these states, there's like these key counties that like when you actually add up what the margin was, it's very small.
It's very small.
It's in the low hundreds of thousands or maybe even tens of thousands of votes that it would have taken to flip that election, you know, even despite, you know, any 2,000 mules view, you know, even without that.
Could a story like this have made the difference?
Quite possibly, you know, I don't know, but it certainly was viewed that it could make the difference and therefore was stifled.
At a minimum, if the media wasn't a propaganda machine, it's at least an interesting story of, oh, is the president being bribed by foreign powers or the potential president being bribed by foreign powers?
You wouldn't instantly just go, oh, we can't report on this because then it's going to change the outcome of the election.
That's not really your job's not to win the election for a specific person.
It's to report interesting news and inform voters.
So at a minimum, you'd want to disprove this story.
Exactly.
And I guess stated differently to make your point in a different way.
The point is that no matter how you feel about the Hunter Biden story, the cover-up now becomes the story.
That's the bigger story in a sense.
Because even if you feel like, well, I don't think that's a big enough thing, which, you know, look, Hunter doing it alone.
I see you could argue, Joe Biden getting the payoffs.
No, that's a really big story.
But even if you don't argue, no, it's not that big of a story.
The fact that the intelligence agencies and the corporate press and social media are all working toward an outcome of an election, that becomes a huge story.
There's no other way to spin it.
It's like you guys are the ones preaching about how you love democracy so much, and all these MAGA Republicans represent a threat to democracy.
Well, if you believe in democracy, then you let people give it report on news to the American people, and then they can decide how important that is to them, right?
Otherwise, this whole thing is just kind of a sham, which it is.
So that's what really becomes interesting, what's revealed from all of this when you put all of these pieces together, that it's like, oh, okay, no, you guys are clearly, there was an agenda here to get Donald Trump in and install Joe Biden as the next president.
And this was a big part of it.
And look, no matter how you slice it, this Hunter Biden thing, no matter what level you put this at, it's a story.
There's no way you can convince any, you can't argue that this is not a story.
At the very least, you have the president's son trading his last name for money from foreign governments.
At a minimum, you have that.
And it seems now that there certainly is evidence that, you know, also Joe Biden was involved in this.
I got to say, to me, looking at it, there's a big difference between Bobolinski going on the Tucker Carlson show and saying this happened versus actually sitting there and testifying to the FBI that it happened.
Those are two very different things.
And that becomes a much more serious allegation now knowing this.
It becomes a very interesting why to me also, because that Bobolinski seems like a shady fucking character.
Shady Characters vs Testimony 00:03:06
I mean, he's also like kind of a deep state kind of guy.
He spends his whole life in the military and then he moves over to like, I don't know, these security or operations energy in foreign countries.
Like that still sounds like deep statey type work.
Like, you know what I mean?
And then why is it that he then turns on the guy running that he's willing to testify against his own business partner and involve himself in the election?
The whole thing is can I well, I'll tell you my honest guess of it, and you're right about all of that, but my honest guess about it is like, well, I don't know exactly if it's deep state, you know, kind of, depending on how you define the term.
Yes, yes, that's true.
It's a relative of it.
It's a guy who was like a naval officer type guy who's in with those type of people and probably got connected with Hunter Biden type of people and was like, oh, yeah, I can make big money off of this.
And my guess as to why he came out and did this, my guess would be it's personal, some personal beef.
Hunter Biden over.
They fucked him over.
Hunter Biden pissed him off.
I mean, imagine being business partners with a crackhead, you know?
Right.
Certain point, you're just fucking furious at this guy.
That's my guess.
He said some fucking shit to him.
They had some bad exchange, fucked him over on some money, something like that.
And he goes, oh, okay.
Well, guess what?
I've fucking met with your father a couple of times and I know for a fact that he was taking kickbacks off this.
So I'm going to go out and tell the world that he is the big guy and that this is all right.
That's just my suspicion.
And then guess what?
The Bidens were so powerful, it didn't matter.
Yep, that's right.
So I guess who won that exchange in the end?
Shit, I still don't get my money.
God damn it.
Anyway, though, it is, it is interesting, at least that there were like these whistleblowers who came forward.
There does seem to be like, at least, you know, there's some dissent within these institutions, which is another interesting piece of information.
Because, you know, you think about it, like so many of the people who like go into the FBI and go into these organizations.
It's not a fucking, it's not a gender studies class at a liberal arts university.
You know what I mean?
I mean, you can get paid for it.
Yeah, right.
There's a job.
It's an actual job.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's a market for it.
Exactly.
But I mean, they're all basically the same in the sense that it's like, no, it's all you're going to get money from taxpayers.
But no, but I'm saying a lot of them are like kind of right-wingy, you know, God bless America types.
And so it's interesting.
Obviously, like the people who are getting promoted at this point and the people who are getting, there's a lot of, you know, the top level is a lot of like partisan, you know, maybe not even partisan isn't the right word to say, but establishment defending types.
But there's a few in there who might be more of the like right-wing kind of patriot types.
And they're like, wait a minute now.
I'm fucking, you know, they might like Donald Trump a little bit more than Joe Biden.
So at least a few of them came out and blew the whistle and went to Congress on it.
Anyway, it's fucking interesting story, man.
Headspace Meditation Promo 00:02:28
Really interesting, especially just like kind of coming off of the heels of what we know about now, what Zuckerberg just kind of let out about how the FBI was the reason why the story was silenced.
So the FBI is leading social media companies to silence this story while they're interviewing the fucking partner in this business who's confirming the story while they're claiming publicly that the story is Russian disinformation and then go on to never bring any charges against Hunter Biden, never release any of the information from the investigation, but they do raid Donald Trump's home.
A lot of interesting information, you know, to all be coming out at once.

All right, let's get back into the show.
Okay, a couple other things we wanted to get to.
Voting Rights and Scams 00:08:25
Okay, so one, I guess we'll do this one kind of quickly, but so there was another great little moment from Joe Biden's press secretary who is, I mean, just, I got to say, that first lady who they had in there, what's her name?
Blanket on her name, Redhead lady.
The first press secretary that Biden had, she was, she had kind of like Sacky, Jen Sacky.
She had kind of like a nasty thing about her.
And she, you know, she had some moments where she said some things that were like, oh, she fucked up there.
But there wasn't that much.
She can handle the job.
You might not have liked her and you might have been able to critique her for lying, but at the end of the day, she was a skilled liar and she could at least handle the job.
Like Spicer could not handle the job.
Yes.
She was ultimately replaced by Huckabee and then that blonde chick who was very, very good at the job.
Yes.
They're still lying to you, but they can at least handle it.
The job is lying to you.
They're the president's spinner.
You know, they're the president's liar.
That's what the job is.
That's why they all get jobs at the corporate press afterwards.
That's why they literally, that's why they go, oh, well, I mean, if you've, you, your resume shows you've demonstrated the ability to lie.
Come on over here to CNN.
Okay.
But this one is just so much more fun.
It's just, I'm really starting.
She's winning me over.
This is what I want is I want entertainment.
I want you just being a liar, but a terrible liar where we can all tell that you're lying and then we can all just like point and laugh and have a good, this is, this is what I like.
I like Joe Biden being the president and this being our press secretary.
It's a great face for the RBI.
They can't unseat her.
Oh, yeah.
They can't unseat her without it being offensive.
I give her like two more months and then there's some other position that she's interested in taking.
So she leaves for that instead.
But it's a nightmare and they can't fire her.
She might be the next president, Rob.
This woman is going places.
Okay.
She's completely unqualified, completely unimpressive, and is a triple minority, female, black, lesbian.
You're looking at the future of America.
Okay.
Instead of a debate, we should have her compete with Kamala Harris to see who's a bigger retard.
God, I'm telling, I honestly would, this is what I want.
This is what I live for is this type of stuff.
The new attention on the MAGA Republicans.
You tweeted in the Trump coming.
Stole an election.
I was waiting, Peter, when you were going to ask me that question.
Well, here we go.
You tweeted Trump stole an election.
You tweeted Brian Kemp stole an election.
If denying election results is extreme now.
Yeah.
So let's be really clear.
That comparison that you made is just ridiculous.
I have been, I have been, well, you're asking me.
You're asking me a question.
Let me answer it.
I was, I was talking specifically at that time of what was happening with voting rights and the what was in danger of voting rights.
That's what I was speaking to at the time.
That's a clip right there.
Just beautiful.
Just beautiful.
It's just, it's, it's so like one of the things that's really interesting, and I will say also kind of scary about the current political like dynamic in America is that no one's even working to keep any pretense going.
It's just like so obvious.
It's so on the surface.
Now, there's something kind of scary about that too, because it's like no one's even trying to convince you that like they, these people really believe in what they're saying or anything like that.
It's just kind of like, yeah, look, they almost want to go like, like, you feel like.
Like you're watching the kindergarten play version of something.
And so you understand it's the kindergarten place.
Like you're very accepting of the fact that they're not doing a good job.
Well, but I feel like they're one, I feel like they're not one step removed, right?
Like what she just said right there is only one step removed from saying, yeah, we obviously don't really believe that.
We're just using this as a fucking tool to beat our enemies.
It's okay when we do it.
It's not okay when you do it.
Deal with it.
We rule you.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, I understand they're not exactly saying that, but it's like not that far off from them just saying that.
It's, it's like two clicks east of just going, yeah, because we're the rulers and you're the fucking serfs.
So deal with it, bitch.
That's your life.
I can say this.
Yes, when you win, it's the election was stolen.
And when we win, you say the election was stolen and you're Adolf Hitler.
Those are the rules.
You know, like it's like they're not even trying to make it.
They go, oh, but you're saying people who deny the election results are like these extremist terrorists, but you denied the election results.
And she goes, ah, that's ridiculous that you'd even bring that up.
That was totally different.
Why?
Well, because I was talking about voting rights.
You were talking about voting rights when you said Trump stole an election.
What?
It's not even plausible.
It doesn't again.
It's not the caricature that I'm making it, but it's really not that far off.
It's really not that far off from that.
And you can just see, you can see where these things are going, where this is going.
It's not good.
It's nowhere good.
Yeah, like at least have the dignity to lie to me.
Yeah.
Give me like a decent lie.
You know what I mean?
Like, give me something that would kind of make sense about that.
I guess at this point, there is no, I don't know what the lie would be when you're your whole strategy here is to just say that like it is just completely illegitimate and beyond the pale to question the results of of an election, which like, okay, that in itself, um, well, okay, I don't believe in any type of blind faith in government, you know, reporting information or something like that.
But if that was your position, like, okay, you could kind of see, you could, you could think of an argument to justify that.
That it's like, look, this whole thing only works if everybody believes that we're governed by the people and the people have control of this and the process is more or less honest.
So there's no way that we can have people just starting to say, hey, I don't believe in this whole process that really undermines the system.
But if you're like, but you said that about the last president, like it's not like we're going back 20 years or something.
It's like, but the last guy won.
And you said the same thing about him.
They go, yeah, that was cool then.
That was totally okay.
You have to at least spin it as I was working off the information from the intelligence community that there was Russian interference.
And after seeing the violence that came from the last time someone played this card, I understand that it's reprehensible behavior and that when Trump did it, it was clearly malicious and to undermine our democracy.
Give me that job.
Yes, something exactly.
That was better.
At least something.
At least you're trying.
But I'm telling you, it almost seems like when they put this lady up and they put it this way, it almost goes like.
Okay, so this is this would be kind of my analogy.
You know, there's a thing I heard this once.
I don't even know if this is exactly true, but for the sake of the analogy, that you know, there's like a email scam or a phone scam where they say like the new Newberian princess needs your money or something like that.
Or even a Newberrier?
I don't know, but there's, there's something, I don't know what it was, but it was something like that.
Like she's trapped in a tower.
And well, they, so I heard someone said Nigerian princess.
Is that what it was?
I thought maybe I've written this all wrong.
Okay.
But let's just say it's that.
It doesn't really matter for the sake of argument that I'm what I'm saying.
But so someone told me this once that they go, so they say this thing and it's the same scam that's been going out forever.
And it's almost like, it's like known as a scam.
Like that's what you'd say.
Oh, what did you get an email from the Nigerian princess or whatever?
Right.
And they go, so why don't they change it?
So at least it won't be, you know, make it a different princess from a different country or something.
So it just, it won't be, you know, so obvious to people to go, no, that's the scam.
That's the thing they say is a scam.
And they say the reason they keep it is because that's the point.
You're targeting the people who are so naive that they don't even know when you use the thing that is the thing.
Does that make sense?
Let Bambi Run Your HR 00:02:52
They're like, no, you keep it because that's the whole goal of it.
And in some ways, it's like, that's what this smells like to me.
It's like, no, you put this woman out there and you basically say, eh, because fuck you.
It's okay when we do it, not when you don't do it.
Because that's the point.
You're letting people know, yeah, we're not even pretending.
We're not pretending this works for you.
It doesn't.
We're telling you, we have the guns.
Do you want to be the enemy of us or do you want to get with the fucking program?
That's it.
We're not attempting to pretend that we're here to convince you.
That's the message I'm getting from the Biden administration.
And it's a creepy one.
It's, it, it's like, it's equal parts encouraging and terrifying.
The encouraging thing about it is like, wow, what an opportunity for like way more people to actually wake up and see what's going on.
And you do see a lot of that happening.
And the terrifying part is that they're like, oh, man, they don't even care.
They're like, they don't even care.
They're just here to like crush their opponents.
I guess it's somewhat true to though their value proposition, which is, look, we're promoting minorities and we're not Trump.
So like we might not offer you facts, reasons, a better economy, a better landscape, but hey, we're promoting women.
This is socialism and we're not Trump.
So it's somewhat true to like their pitch.
Yeah, no, that is true.

Climate Change Energy Crisis 00:13:07
All right, let's get back into the show.
All right, so moving on to the next topic, because there's a couple more things that I want to cover before we get out of here.
So, I think that, you know, much with the Hunter Biden situation that we called from the beginning, and with all this craziness that you're just seeing out of these like officials, government officials here.
One of the things that we called, and you can go back in the show and listen to it, we were on this in March of 2020.
And I'm not like, this isn't like much of a brag.
We weren't the only ones to call this.
A lot of people said this pretty early on.
And quite frankly, I think it was really obvious to see, but that we were like, we were saying, even then in March, when it was really unclear exactly how long this COVID thing would go, you know, it was like, okay, we've done, we're locking down and they're scaring the shit out of everybody.
We didn't know if this is going to last another month or this was going to last another two years or what, you know?
Although we suspected it would be more than a month or a few, or we suspected it would be more than the 14, 15 days to flatten the curve or whatever.
But what we said was that this is going to set a precedent that the climate change activists are going to seize upon.
Because if these type of actions are justified for COVID, then they're really justified for climate change according to the climate change narrative, right?
So that this is really what we're going to see.
And as the COVID narrative started to collapse, we said throughout the whole time that they're going to, they're going to bail on this eventually because you just can't keep this up anymore.
It's just too many people know too many people who know too many people who have all had COVID, who all know someone who's vaccinated and has had COVID, who all were vaccinated and then had COVID, and then know someone unvaccinated who had COVID, and all of them have the same fucking results.
You know what I mean?
And all of them have the same.
And it's just, there's just too much where you just can't keep it going.
The propaganda is just, it doesn't work after a certain point.
So they're going to bail on this COVID thing and they're going to pivot hard to the climate change thing, which is the next thing.
And then a lot of people, and then a lot of like reports and info came out to back this up, right?
I've recently become convinced of climate change.
And that's why I think before we even try and cut back here, we got to go and invade China and India and make an actual impact.
Yes.
Because we can cut back all day here if China and India keep doing it.
It doesn't even matter.
So I think before what we need to do is run our economy hot and be prosperous enough to go invade them, shut down their industries completely, and then go full global warming because it's a real threat.
We got to really sit here and fucking, that's a good point.
We got to really burn for a while fossil fuels just to build up enough money to really be sure that we can beat both China and India in the two-front war.
That is a good, that is a good point.
That's really where we need to go.
But so there's also been a lot of reporting.
I mean, there was, of course, that Project Veritas video where the CNN guy like basically admitted we're going to pivot over to climate change after this.
That has, however you feel about what that guy said, that has pretty much come true.
That is what they're pivoting over to.
But there was one example of this that was just so like I didn't even think, I don't know, I didn't even think I would see this.
As someone who called all of this, I didn't even think we would see this exactly.
But this is from Ursula von der Leyen.
She is the president. of the European Commission.
And this is, I believe we have the clip up.
This is what she said about the energy crisis related to, of course, all this green energy insanity in Europe.
Here's what she said.
And this is what is expensive, because in these peak demands, the expensive gas comes into the market.
So what we have to do is flatten the curve and avoid the peak demands.
We will propose a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours.
And we will work very closely with the member states to achieve this.
So here we go.
I just would have thought that I mean, it really, it really is.
It's the just the tip of totalitarianism is flattening the curve.
That's fucking, that's fucking brilliant.
That's really fucking funny, dude.
It is 15 days to flatten the curve or flatten the curve is the just the tip of totalitarianism.
Come on, flatten.
Oh, come on, baby.
What do you mean you're not in the mood?
Just flatten the curve.
Oh, come on, just flatten the curve.
Yeah, there you go.
That's, I mean, you would think the term flatten the curve has been discredited.
Like, forget whatever side of this you're on.
They literally told us we needed 15 days and then took two and a half years.
You'd think that you'd go, let's not use the same line.
Let's say it in a different way.
At least I guess back to my point.
I guess back to my point before.
Nope, we're just going to tell you the same thing.
But so you're already seeing, this is like a really kind of, you know, a really ominous, creepy thing that's going on all throughout Europe.
It's going on in California right here.
In fact, maybe you got, Brian, if you could even pull up, there was Gavin Newsom addressed this.
This is not one that I had prepared, ready to go, but Gavin Newsom addressed the rolling blackouts in California just last night.
But this is going to do their part.
Yes, that's right.
This is like a glimpse into the future.
And it'll get a lot worse than this.
But this is the idea that we talked about a few weeks ago on the show when Thomas Massey is grilling Pete Buttigieg.
And he's going, you're like, well, you say you want all electric cars by 2030 in just a few years.
But like, you know, an electric car is like 12 refrigerators.
What if everyone had 12 refrigerators right now?
Wouldn't that just like crash the power grid?
And he's like, yeah, well, we need today's power grid, sure, but not tomorrow's power grid.
And it's like, well, what's your plan about how to get tomorrow's power grid in the next few years?
And it's like, think big, do it, investment.
That's it.
They have nothing.
And this is all of the places that are embracing this insane climate change green energy policy.
They do not produce enough electricity for the things that they want to do.
And so you're seeing this all over the place where costs are skyrocketing and people are now losing electricity.
This is, it's unbelievable.
It's like it's unfathomable that you'd think in a modern advanced society, what the most basic thing that we all our entire lives have taken for granted is like food and energy.
Like, that's just all of us, our entire lives have basically just assumed.
And, you know, it's, I suppose, a weakness of our generation or something like that, because this was not true.
And it's not true outside of first world countries.
And it's been not true for many, you know, generations of humans that, you know, that that was a major part of the struggle of living was like, hey, making sure you have enough food.
And many of them never had electricity or anything like that.
But we all kind of grew up in a world where it was taken for granted that like you would have food and electricity.
Now, very basic assumptions, right?
And that is now, this is all becoming like insecure, like not a situation where this is guaranteed.
And this is happening in California right here.
And these same people who are, as we're watching this, are lecturing everybody else about how we have to adopt their policies and go even further.
That's a California is what is their proposal there that you can't sell you can't sell electric calls after 2030.
I mean, non-electric calls after 2030.
Yes, that by 2030, all of the cars have to be electric.
Yet they're asking people not to charge their electric cars right now because the power grid can't handle it.
It's really, it's something to watch.
Here was Gavin Newsom, his message to the good people of California.
California and many other Western states are experiencing simply unprecedented temperatures.
In fact, this heat wave is on track to be both the hottest and the longest on record for the state and many parts of the West for the month of September.
Californians, you've stepped up to help in a big way to keep the lights on so far.
But we're heading to the worst part of this heat wave.
And the risk for outages is the concept of the lights on so far and the way he just glosses over that.
Isn't that incredible?
Just the you've been able to keep like just a big smile.
Hey, you've done your part to keep the lights on so far.
Like, wait, there's a possibility the lights won't be on.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's what you're, yeah.
Well, I guess you've done a great job managing this state where that's where we're at.
The lights may not be on.
Yeah, let's keep playing.
The risk for outages is real and it's immediate.
These triple digit temperatures throughout much of our state are leading, not surprisingly, to record demand on the energy grid.
Everyone has to do their part to help step up for just a few more days.
Individuals, the state, industries, business, all doing their part to help reduce strain on the grid.
Now, here's specifically what you can do in the early morning hours, particularly tomorrow and the next day or so, pre-cool your home.
Run your air conditioning earlier in the day when more power is available.
And we encourage you to close your windows and blinds to keep your home cool as well.
And today and tomorrow afternoon, after 4 p.m., in particular, 4 p.m., please turn your thermostat up to 78 degrees or higher and avoid to the extent possible using any really large appliances.
You can visit flexalert.org to learn more about what you can do.
Californians, you've rallied before and we can do it again.
Keep it up.
Okay.
So look, tell me this isn't our prediction fucking coming true, like already.
That like, what does this remind you of?
Okay, what is it?
Okay, number one, you guys all, everybody's going to have to make a sacrifice, right?
We're all in this together.
He even alludes to it.
He goes, we've done it before.
We can do it again.
And by the way, it's only going to be a few days.
It's only going to be a few days.
So like, what's the problem?
You know, there's a few days.
You don't mind making sacrifice for a few days, right?
For everybody, okay.
So just do that.
Now, of course, over in Europe, they referred to it as mandated targets.
California hasn't quite gone there yet, but this is the guy who locked down his fucking state for like, I think, the longest lockdowns in the country.
So, you know, this might slip into a mandate sometime soon.
And just imagine now when you're saying after 2030, when everyone's using electric cars, how much more of a strain there's going to be on the power grid.
There's something really brilliant here about this propaganda, too, because if you see, you can also blame, like, you can blame climate change for why the demand is so high on the electricity, and then also insist that everybody use your dumb green energy so you have less available fucking energy.
It's really quite a brilliant scheme here.
But this is something it's happening in America.
In California, the once most prosperous state in the union is now has a real concern about you keeping your lights on.
And by the way, it's just, it's the polar opposites of the reality.
We're at war with the planet.
Technology and energy will help us survive.
The more we consume of it, the more technological developments we will have, and the less we will need to consume to survive on the planet.
The solution is burning energy.
Burn it all.
Just use it.
Fucking keep growing.
Technology will figure it out.
Yeah, 100%.
Yeah, no, absolutely.
It's really something, though, to see how this world plays out.
I don't exactly know what else to add to that, but it is really something to see.
All of these, all of the areas, all of the countries, all of the states that are embracing this green energy agenda all seem to be having a similar problem, which is, oh, yeah, energy.
All right.
So I guess that's what we want to do.

All right, let's get back into the show.
All right.
Before we wrap up, I think there was one other thing.
Yeah, there's one guy that actually gets it.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Listen, I did this debate with Styx where I was trashing Donald Trump.
Go check that out.
Please do.
I think, you know, Stake's a good guy, and I enjoy a lot of his content.
I disagree with him on this one very heavily.
I know I saw there was a Twitter poll up about it that I won the Twitter poll, but I've definitely gotten a lot of, I think he won the YouTube comments, which makes sense.
He's got a bigger following on YouTube, and I have a bigger following on Twitter.
So that probably explains that.
But it was an interesting debate.
Go check that out.
But since I was trashing Donald Trump, you said, hey, there's this clip you got to check out where Trump is really nailing it.
I have not checked this out yet, but let's give the man his due.
Here's Donald Trump on this very topic.
Disasters that our country and the world are now suffering would never ever have happened if I was in the White House.
You all know that.
All of this stuff wouldn't have happened.
You could take the five worst presidents in American history and put them together, and they would not have done the damage Joe Biden has done to our country in less than two years.
They could not have done it.
Two years ago, when I was in office, gas was $1.87 a gallon.
And we weren't talking about going to all electric cars, which are twice as expensive.
I mean, the problem is, a friend of mine wanted to do something for the environment.
He went out and bought an electric car.
And he made a certain trip.
I won't say from where?
Kentucky.
I won't say from here.
And he's a good person.
He wants to do what's well.
Now he understands.
Not so good.
And he bought an electric car and he made the trip often from Kentucky to Washington and he made it and he'd drive down and put the car away and drive back.
He was getting like 38 miles a gallon and it was fine.
And then he goes to hybrids and all the other things they can do.
But he wanted to go all electric because he wants to save our country.
He wants to save the atmosphere.
And he called me, he said, I'm exhausted.
Why?
He said, this damn trip took me forever.
I'd drive for two hours and then I'd have to have my car charged.
And in two cases, I couldn't find a place to charge it.
But even if I could, it took me more time to charge the damn car than I could spend in it driving.
He said, it took me two and a half times.
Please, please, let's get rid of this stuff.
Please.
And you see, in California, you see what's happening there where they're going, all electric cars.
Number one, people can't afford them.
Number two, the batteries are made all in China.
All the earth, the rare earth, comes out of China.
And interesting, we have all the gas and the gasoline, the gasoline, when it's refined.
We have it all right under our we don't have any of the other stuff.
And if we did, our environmentalists wouldn't let us take it.
It all comes out of China and a little bit in the Congo, which has guess who controls the Congo?
China.
We play right into their hands.
You see where I'm getting a lot of great press because I told Germany, don't make a deal with Russia on the pipeline.
And they said, oh, that's so funny.
I actually sent during a meeting, G7, I sent Angela, Angela Merkel, a white flag of surrender.
She said, Donald Donald, but why do you send me this white flag?
I said, Angela, because you're going to surrender.
75% of your energy is coming from Russia.
If you look back over the decades, Russia and Germany haven't done too well together.
When there's a war, when there's a problem, they'll just turn off Nord Stream 2 and Angela.
You're not going to be able to defend yourselves.
Oh, that will never happen.
Well, that was about two years ago.
The only thing I never thought it was going to happen this fast.
And now they're giving me great.
Remember, I made the speech at the United Nations and the German delegation was all smiling.
They thought it was so funny.
They're not smiling now.
He said it better than.
He really lives for these moments.
All right, let's pause it here.
Yeah, dude, this is a long video.
Where does it get to the part where he starts nailing it, Rob?
This has all been nonsense so far.
But he just lives for these moments where someone laughed at him and therefore he's got to shove it in their faces.
I think this is why he was president because Obama laughed at him.
Well, he doesn't have too many good moments, but he's nailing it on electric cars don't work.
We're going to be more reliant on other countries.
Russia, I mean, Germany was stupid for getting rid of its nuclear power and being more reliant on Russia.
The nuclear power part is true.
The deal with Russia, I don't fucking know.
I really don't know about that.
I kind of like the idea of Germany and Russia being interdependent on each other.
Let them not fight again.
The problem there is that then Donald Trump went and fucking poured all these weapons into fucking Ukraine because he got rolled by the deep state to do so.
Which whatever, I could get more into that some other time.
But anyway, yeah, look, I mean, he's right on the idea that like, no, we need to use the energy that we fucking have.
None of this dumb environmental shit.
Again, it's like, I'm all for like taking care of the environment and not living in like a dirty, polluted fucking cities.
But somehow the people who are like the environmentalists run the filthiest cities in the in the country.
But it's like, no, dude, this is exactly like you said before.
I think you really nailed it, where it's like, no, look, this is as of right now, all we have that can support advanced industrialized societies is fossil fuels.
So what you do is, is you burn, you burn those fossil fuels, you keep these civilizations like wealthy and stable, and then you allow for the possibility of us to figure out how to do it in other ways.
That's that.
And we'll get there.
It's just, you're trying to rush it.
What they're trying to do is make gas so expensive that the other things are economically efficient.
The problem is, yeah, I guess if gas is at seven or $8 a gallon, we're looking at economic collapse.
You're looking at people that can't eat their homes.
You're looking at 30% bills on energy costs.
Like, so it's not really feasible.
You need the green energy technology to be cheaper than what gas currently is.
Right.
Exactly.
Yeah, exactly.
All right.
On that note, we will wrap things up.
Thank you, everybody, for listening.
We'll be back real soon with a brand new episode.
Peace.
