BREAKING: NEW ATF REPORT OUT IN TYLER ROBINSON CASE

Jack Posobiec and Libby Emmons dissect a new ATF report linking the Mauser 98 rifle to Charlie Kirk's murder, with ballistics expert Tom Sauer confirming it is beyond reasonable doubt the weapon fired the shot. The broadcast also covers President Trump's April 16, 2026, address on the Strait of Hormuz blockade, alleging Iran killed 42,000 protesters and attempting covert mining to force tolls near Larak Island. Ultimately, the episode frames these events as part of a broader fifth-generation warfare strategy aimed at decoupling from China while challenging traditional narratives of geopolitical stability. Let's get it.
This is what happens when the Fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posodi.
Christ is King.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
We're here live on Real America's Voice.
Today is April 16th, 2026.
Anno Domini.
Folks, new ATF report out on Tyler. Robinson.
This is a report that many of us have been talking about from the very start.
A lot of us looking at what could come, what could be next, giving into the ballistics.
We're going to dig into that.
Also, Tyler Robinson expected in court tomorrow for a hearing on cameras in the courtroom.
President Trump, though, going out and giving a gaggle right now.
Guys, do we have that?
Can we go to the gaggle?
All right, we'll throw it to President Trump right now.
It's very important that the Pope understands.
Very, very important.
It would be nice not to say it.
Iran killed 42,000 people that were totally unarmed.
They were protesters.
Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
If they did, every country, including Italy, where he's stationed, every single country in the world would be in trouble.
So we're doing very well with respect to that.
Having to do with the whole situation on Iran.
The blockade is amazing.
It's holding up very strong, very powerfully.
And I think we're making a lot of progress on that.
But the Pope has to understand Iran, very simple, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
The world would be in great danger.
Mr. President, would you meet with the Pope to even out your differences?
Because Catholics are torn.
I don't think it's necessary.
Mr. President, you.
I spoke with Prime Minister Modi just a couple of days ago.
What was the conversation like?
What is it that is on the table now?
I had a very good talk with him, and he's a friend of mine from India, and he's doing great.
We had a very good conversation.
Are you considering extending the ceasefire with him?
With who?
With Iran.
We're doing very well, I can tell you.
Maybe it'll happen before that.
I'm not sure it needs to be extended.
Iran wants to make a deal, and we're dealing very nicely with them.
We've got to have no nuclear weapons.
That's a big factor, and they're willing to do things today that they weren't willing to do two months ago.
Do you have any news about Ukraine?
Do you have any news regarding peace in Ukraine?
I think they will.
I think it's going to be actually very exciting because it's 48 years.
We're going to be meeting with Bibi Netanyahu, as you know, and the president of Lebanon.
And I had a great talk with both of them today.
They're going to be having a ceasefire, and that'll include Hezbollah.
And I think it could be number 10 for me.
Mr. President, do you have any news regarding Ukraine?
Do you have any news regarding Ukraine?
Ukraine is moving along.
I wish they could get along, frankly.
A lot of people are dying in Ukraine.
We'll see what happens.
There are things happening there.
We're focused so much right now on Iran, seeing if we can get that completed.
And I think if you look, the stock market is good, the oil prices are coming down, and it's looking very good that we're going to make a deal with Iran.
And it's going to be a good deal.
It's going to be a deal with no nuclear weapons.
What is the latest in Round of negotiations on the war in Iran.
When will the next round of negotiations be?
They're all important.
I mean, it's not a question of a round.
All of them are important.
When will the next in person round be?
Probably maybe over the weekend.
The President, will you send the Vice President?
The President, will you send the Vice President?
The blockade has been incredible.
It's been, it's held.
They're not doing any business.
They're unable to do any business because of the blockade.
And so the combination of having no Navy, having no Air Force, having no anti aircraft equipment, they have nothing.
Everything is gone.
Including their leaders.
Now they have a new set of leaders, and we find them very reasonable.
And Mr. President, on the 20 year minimum to stop enriching uranium, would you agree to any?
We haven't agreed to any.
What we have is we have a statement, very powerful statement, that they will not have, beyond 20 years, nuclear weapons.
That's beyond.
There's no 20 year limit.
I think that Todd Blanch is doing a very good job, from what I'm saying.
All I can say thus far, I think Todd Blanch is doing a very good job.
If there's no deal, would you be willing to extend the ceasefire, or will the fighting resume at the present time?
I would say if there's no deal, fighting resumes.
Okay.
And then on gas prices, how much longer will Americans continue to see these high gas prices?
Well, they're not very high.
If you look at what they were supposed to be in order to get rid of a nuclear.
nuclear weapon with the danger that entails.
So the gas prices have come down very much over the last three, four days.
I know, you know, and that's what ABC says.
But the fact is that if you look at the stock markets up, everything's doing really well.
And the big thing we have to do is we have to make sure that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon.
Because if they do, you want to talk about problems, you'd have problems.
So very important is that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon.
And they've agreed to that.
Iran's agreed to that and they've agreed to it very powerfully.
They've agreed to give us back the nuclear dust that's way underground because of the attack we made with the B-2 bombers.
So we have a lot of agreement with Iran and I think something's going to happen very positive.
Very complicated subject.
I don't think we're waiting.
I think we're moving very fast.
It could happen pretty quickly.
How long you could sustain the blockade on the Strait of Rumors?
The what?
How long you could sustain, keep the blockade on the Strait of Rumors?
We're doing very well with the blockade.
It's very routine for us.
The Navy is incredible.
And I think the blockade is doing very well.
No ship is even thinking about entering.
No ship is going past our Navy.
Why are you fighting with the Pope?
And are you worried it's upsetting your government?
No, no, I don't.
I have to do what's right.
The Pope has to understand that.
Very simple.
I have nothing against the Pope.
His brother's MAGA all the way.
I like his brother, Louis.
You're not fighting with him.
I'm not fighting with him.
The Pope made a statement.
He says Iran can have a nuclear weapon.
I say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
And if the Pope looked at the 42,000 people that were killed over the last two or three months as a protester with no weapons, no nothing, I mean, you take a look at that.
So I can disagree with the Pope.
I have a right to disagree with the Pope.
What do you say to people who see your criticism of that?
Nothing, I have no disagreement with the fact the Pope can say what he wants, and I want him to say what he wants, but I can disagree.
I think that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
If they do, the whole world would be in jeopardy.
The Middle East will be blown up, and the whole world will be in jeopardy.
We're very close to making a deal.
That would be a great thing.
The Pope has to understand, Iran has killed more than 42,000 people over the last few months.
Think of it, protesters without guns, without anything.
They were totally unarmed protesters.
The Pope has to understand that.
This is the real world.
It's a nasty world.
But as far as the Pope and saying what he wants, he can do that.
Now, I know the Pope's brother.
He is a big MAGA person.
He's got MAGA all over his house.
His name is Louis.
He's actually a great guy.
And I'm sure the Pope is a great guy.
I haven't met him.
But I disagree with the Pope.
If the Pope would allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon, you can't do that.
Is it better saying that the Pope is not an antonym of Shatkar?
No, not really.
Antonym of Shatkar?
You never know him?
What?
I would like to ask you regarding congratulations for the 10th war.
Yeah, it's very exciting.
With Lebanon, it's very exciting.
I think we're going to have a deal.
We're going to have a meeting, first time in 44 years, and Lebanon will be meeting with Israel, and they're probably going to do it at the White House.
When do you think, President, when do you think they will.
Over the next week or two.
Over the next week.
And do you think this agreement can reach the Hezbollah agreement?
I think we will have an agreement between Lebanon, and they're going to take care of Hezbollah.
But they're going to be working on Hezbollah right now.
We'll have a degree between Israel, very importantly, and Lebanon.
Will you support our Lebanese army as well?
I would.
Iran's going to.
Iran's going to exit.
Has Hezbollah agreed to the ceasefire?
They're all agreeing.
It's a very nice little package for about a week, and we're not going to have lots of bombs dropping, and we're going to see if we can make peace between Lebanon and Israel.
And Mr. President, because there was a group of bishops that did put out a statement saying the focus is merely exercising his opinion.
Preaching the gospel.
I mean, what do you say to people that do this?
Well, I want them to preach the gospel.
I'm all about the gospel.
But I also know that you cannot let a certain country, which is a very mean-spirited country, have a nuclear weapon.
If they did, they would use it.
And I think they'd use it quickly, and they would kill many millions of people.
So, you know, the Pope could disagree with me on that, but certainly we're allowed to have that.
I'm all about the gospel.
I'm about it as much as anybody can be.
But I can't allow, as President of the United States of America, I can't allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
And here's the story.
They won't have.
They've already agreed not to have.
That's good news, and I think the Pope will be very happy.
The Federal Reserve should wait and see about this Iran war before lowering.
No, I don't agree.
I think we should have lower interest.
Iran is going to execute four more protesters accordingly, including the first woman protester.
What do you tell Iran?
Well, tell that to the Pope.
What did you say?
Tell that to the Pope.
Do you want to pass things up with a headline?
That Iran is going to.
Did you just hear that?
Iran is going to execute four people, including.
I don't know if we're going to have to, but if we need to, I would do that.
Iran needs a headline.
What are you telling the airlines and the oil companies about the way you're going to open up this trade?
So if you look at the oil and if you look at the price we're paying, it's about half what people thought it would be if you did what I had to do.
We had to take this journey to the Middle East in order to get rid of a nuclear weapon.
If we didn't hit it with the B-2 bombers or if I didn't kill the Barack Hussein-Obama deal, the nuclear deal, which was a disaster, we would have had nuclear weapons exploding in the Middle East and beyond.
I believe I've been able to stop that.
I think we have a very successful negotiation going on right now.
And I think it'll be, if it happens, it'll be announced fairly soon.
And that'll give us free oil, free Harmose Strait.
Everything will be nice.
And I think your oil price will go down to lower than what it was before.
And I think a lot of good things will happen.
Just for clarity, you're willing to extend the ceasefire through Iran?
We'll see.
I don't know that will happen.
Ideally, but if I needed to, I would.
What do you think the Lebanese people love you so much?
What's your message for them?
And you will visit Lebanon after this deal?
I will do that.
At the right time, I would certainly go there.
You know, Putin doesn't want to stop it, apparently.
He's bombing Ukraine.
Do you think this war has the potential to go on for years more?
Well, it should have been.
It should have never started.
If I were president, the war in Ukraine never would have started with Russia.
But it's going on.
Hopefully, it'll get over soon.
I guess both of you.
A lady came out last week and said she had no link to Jeffrey Epstein.
Who did?
The First Lady, Melania.
She had none.
Why did she come out and say that last night?
Because the fake news was saying she did, and she had none, and I think that's been proven.
It bothered her that the fake news was being fake news, so she just wanted to clarify.
Who's taking care of Hezbollah?
Do you think that they are destroying the deal that they are trying to make?
We're going to see how it all works out, but they'll be working and coordinating.
If you know, you know Lebanon, right?
So they'll be working with Hezbollah.
If you fire JP Morgan.
What?
Iran Deal Imminent 00:02:19
Are you still interested in acquiring Iranian oil?
Well, we'll see.
I mean, we have a very good relationship with Iran right now, as hard as it is to believe.
And I think it's a combination of about four weeks of bombing and a very powerful blockade.
The blockade is maybe more powerful than the bombing, if you want to know the truth.
Are you going to make the Arab countries pay a portion of all of the contributions?
I think they're going to make that contribution.
I think the Arab countries, because we've done a lot, I think they'd make a.
contribution toward the course.
Not been involved.
We're going to see what happens, but I think we're very close to making a deal with Iran.
You'll be the first to know, but I think we have a chance.
And if that happens, oil goes way down, prices go way down, inflation goes way down.
And you're going to have, much more importantly than even that, you won't have nuclear holocaust.
All right, so folks, you saw President Trump there at the South Lawn, answering a lot of questions.
Iran, Lebanon, so many questions that he dug into.
We're going to talk a little bit more about Iran coming up later in the program and how all of this is directly related to China.
I didn't hear any specific questions about China or the meeting that's had to take place in Beijing one month away from today.
But, you know, when we see.
China Meeting Focus 00:03:41
All of this.
There's the President of the United States.
And by the way, he's got a huge event tomorrow with TPUSA.
We have the event at Dream City Church.
This was Charlie's church.
This is where Charlie would go and speak and have so many of his events.
And now TPUSA being there with the President tomorrow in Phoenix.
So certainly invite anyone in the Phoenix area, Arizona area, if you want to fly in, get in there.
This is going to be a huge event.
You won't want to miss it, President Trump, an event in Vegas tonight.
Perhaps, who knows?
Perhaps we'll be talking.
To U.S. attorneys about Eric Swalwell in the video that I posted of Eric Swalwell in Las Vegas.
We'll see.
So he's on his way there tonight and then to Arizona for TPUSA.
We have an event with him tomorrow at Dream City Church.
But going back from TPUSA, we do have to look into this new ATF report into the murder of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.
And what did we find in this report?
The big headline, which has jumped out to everyone, is that the bullet fragments found.
In the gun, in Tyler Robinson's gun, excuse me, the bullet fragments found during Charlie's autopsy were.30 caliber.
The bullets found in Tyler Robinson's gun were.30 out of 6.
The gun found on the ground was a Mauser 98, was Tyler Robinson's gun, his grandfather's gun originally.
And now they're matching those fragments.
They also found a casing, I believe it was inside the gun, with the markings from the firing pin on it.
Matched to the gun, and then.30 caliber fragments found in Charlie's autopsy.
Libby Emmons is the editor of the Postmillennial and the editor of Human Events.
She joins us to break this down.
Libby, how are you?
I'm good, Jack.
Thanks so much.
So, Libby, this new report is a preliminary report.
Walk us through some of the information and the fact that this is really only a summary of the evidence that is yet to come in the full preliminary hearing, which is one month away.
Yeah, so this was a summary of an ATF report done on the bullet that was found during the autopsy of Charlie Kirk.
We were looking over this report last night.
We had the article out at the post millennial, and the ATF report was part of a motion that was included in a motion.
That was filed by the defense on January 9th.
The exhibits included in the report include one Mauser Model 98 30-06 Springfield caliber rifle bearing serial number 8863 with an optical accessory.
It also included 30-06 Springfield caliber cartridges and a case, as well as one bullet jacket fragment and four lead fragments.
These were all.
Found.
The report states that the Exhibit 1, the rifle, was test fired and found to be in operable condition.
It also states that one 30 out of 6 Springfield caliber cartridge case, which was identified as Exhibit 2, bears Remington headstamp, as did the other cartridges.
Some of these cartridges are found to have tool marks.
Pardon me.
I'm actually just being told that President Trump is back and answering more questions.
We thought he had walked off, guys.
Let's go back to the president.
Show that the Democrat Party is no longer the party of the working class and the Republican Party under your leadership actually.
I love this question.
North Sea Helicopter 00:04:55
This is the greatest guy.
Look how handsome he is.
What a great guy he is.
Yes.
The Democrats don't know what they're doing.
They want to tax everybody out of business.
They want men playing in women's sports.
They don't want voter ID.
They don't know what they're doing.
We've had an unbelievable run and the people getting their tax returns and they're coming back and they're ending up getting $5, $6, $7,000.
More than they thought possible.
Who do you think the Pope was being disrespectful to?
The Pope.
Do you think he was being disrespectful to you?
I don't think about it that way.
The Pope has to understand that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
And the Pope has to understand that you can't let a country kill 42,000 protesters, totally unarmed protesters.
You can't do that.
So, the Pope, you know, I know his brother.
His brother's MAGA all the way.
You know that, Lewis.
He's a great guy.
But the Pope has to understand you're not allowed to kill 42,000 protesters who are totally unarmed.
And you cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon or the entire world could be gone.
And, you know, when the Pope realizes that, I think we'll have a different understanding.
Doesn't our energy providence mean that Europeans should be buying more gas and oil from the United States?
Well, they should be buying more from us.
And what they should be doing is using the North Sea.
I can tell you, UK.
I've been telling that to your Prime Minister.
The UK should open up the North Sea Ocean, one of the greatest in the world, and they should use it instead of buying oil from Norway and other places that use the same source.
They should use it, and they're not doing it.
They're doing windmills and windmills.
Windmills do one thing.
You know what they do?
Put you out of business.
We're not talking to the Prime Minister about all the regional leaders about the peace deal or the peace talks about with the North Sea Ocean.
We're not talking about everybody.
We're dealing with all of the leaders on many different subjects.
We're very close to a deal with Iran.
All right, guys.
And now we have to double check here.
Is the president going to be continuing to talk, or do we have confirmation on that?
Has he gotten on that helicopter yet?
I'm asking the producers here live.
Can we get that shot up just so we can?
I want to confirm this because if he's walking, I want to see it.
Let's get the shot up there so we can see the president.
And this is what he does.
And I should have known better than to cut away from the president initially because when he wants to talk, he certainly will talk.
Talk and talk and talk.
We saw him at the Easter egg roll a couple days ago, and he turned that into a mini press conference as well.
And so, yeah, guys, how's the helicopter looking?
Are we looking good?
He's heading out there, heading out to the helicopter now.
Oh, the camera's getting into position, I'm told.
Camera's still getting into position.
And what I'm seeing is the president seems to be talking, guys.
Can we get audio of this?
Or is it?
Oh, he's taken off.
I see.
Okay.
There's the president, president of the United States.
He's there.
All right.
He's made the turn, he's made the big turn.
He's headed to the helicopter.
And I want to bring Libby Emmons back in here now.
And Libby, of course, we got Trump, we got big Trumped right there a little bit, but that's okay.
And I appreciate, by the way, something the president never really gets credit for is that he is very open with the press.
He always has been.
Yeah, it's amazing actually having covered the Biden administration and we would count how long it had been since he had spoken to the press or delivered any real information to the American people.
He would go on for, you know, weeks and months without saying a word to the press.
So it is really heartening to have a president who's so transparent.
No, and it's a wonderful thing to say because it's something where, you know, we went through four years of this and we were told, you know, again and again and again.
I was at one with Piers Morgan yesterday with Jojo from Jurz, and she was saying, you know, she was saying, you know, she was saying, let's, you know, oh, you know, he was fine with me and this was good, but then we're also told that they hid it from us, you know, et cetera, et cetera.
Ballistics Report Doubts 00:14:56
Yeah.
I also really enjoyed what, Trump said about Pope Leo.
He was saying that he thought Pope Leo should speak his mind, and that, you know, he, of course, as the president, felt that he should speak his mind.
And I think that two leaders who are on a global scale, who want what's best for the world and for America, it's good if they are able to disagree and hash that out without being enemies of one another.
And I really have a lot of respect for that and for what he said about the Pope.
And it's very important.
It's very important to have.
And having the information at our fingertips, when we're doing a show live, it's the kind of information that we need.
It's the kind of information that we need in real time so that we're able to put together what we're doing and making sure that we're making the calls exactly as they need to be made.
That's why, and I can understand the frustration when we look at this ATF report with Tyler Robinson and this initial preliminary report that's come out.
And Libby, I want to just double check.
That report, even though it's just, you know, we've just gotten this information yesterday, when was that report actually done?
When was it conducted?
That report was done in the fall.
That report was done months and months and months ago.
And it revealed that the bullet that was the fragment that was recovered from Charlie Kirk during the autopsy, and I'm no firearms expert here, but I read the report.
It reveals that it was.30 caliber and that the gun was also.30 caliber, if I understand.
By terminology correctly.
And so that was.
Can we have.
So you said, wait, I just want to, before you go off on the rest, I just want to be clear.
This report was conducted this week or this report was conducted on September 17th?
It was conducted September 17th.
It was right after Charlie was killed.
So this information, I want to be clear on this.
This information, even though it is new to the public, because I want to talk about the provenance of the information, that even though this information is new to the public, it's not necessarily new.
to the prosecutors and the defense team.
This is information that they would have received the minute that they started in on the case.
The report's completed.
They've gotten it.
And presumably they've received more information as well that has yet to make it to light.
So here we are saying, and I know that there are questions about the ballistics in this case, and rightfully so.
It's perfectly fine.
You should always ask questions.
But now that the report is out, now that the evidence is out, we can now see what the prosecution and the defense team have been seeing since September 17th.
It's this understanding that even though it seems new to us, it's actually been known inside the system internally all the way back since September of last year, only seven days after Charlie died.
I think that's important, isn't it?
Yeah, I think that's important as well.
And it also speaks to what information the defense has, what information the prosecution has that they are using to build their respective cases.
And most of the information that we have seen come through has all been.
Released to, you know, within the court system to both parties in the fall.
And so that is definitely what's been going on here.
So when we hear the defense saying that they need to delay because they haven't reviewed the evidence, they've had the evidence for a very long time.
And when we see people saying, you know, nothing has been submitted into evidence, that's because the trial has not yet begun and we have not gotten to the point yet where evidence is submitted to the court in order to, you know, prosecute the case.
So, yeah, this has been going on for a long time.
They have the information that they need.
They are building their.
Cases respectively with the information that they've had since the fall.
And that's something that we saw in the prosecution's motion, the state's motion against the delay that the defense has asked for.
They have said, you know, you've had this evidence for a long time, you've had all the materials and all the reports just like we have.
So it's time to press on.
That's exactly right.
And so, Libby, just logically speaking, right?
So, you know, people have said, okay, so there's a 30 out 6 casing that was found inside the rifle.
There's the other 30 out 6 bullets and casings which were found inside the magazine, inside that chamber of the rifle.
There were fragments found in the autopsy of a 30 caliber bullet, but that was not able to be conclusively tied directly to Tyler Robinson's rifle.
What does that mean, Libby?
I think what that means is that it hasn't been fully tested.
There are other tests that can be done to make sure that those two pieces match.
But it also seems true that the.30 caliber bullet came from a.30 caliber gun.
And that, you know, I'm not a firearms expert at all.
But those two things are true.
So there's every indication that it would have come from this gun.
And there are additional tests that can be done.
Well, so Libby, let's just use our logic and reasoning here.
That so okay, we can't we can't say or they haven't been able to say and one of the reasons by the way and I explained this to Vita Duffy last week was the fragments are just too small to match to that specific rifle.
It's like saying because the because the way it's identified is through the barrel the rifling of the barrel unique characteristics to each barrel that would be produced if you fired another round through the barrel you would check those markings up against the markings of the bullet and then see if they were a match kind of like fingerprint matching and When we have this situation, it's like it's kind of like having a partial fingerprint where you say, Well, we can tell that it's similar, but we can't go all the way down the road of saying that it is a 100% match.
And so, and that is because of the degraded fragmentation of the bullet itself.
But they could tell, though, that if you constituted it or reconstituted it together, it would be a 30 caliber bullet.
But when I say use our logic and reasoning, Libby, is there any other evidence?
Of a.30 caliber style rifle anywhere in the vicinity of Charlie Kirk on that day?
Yes or no?
No, this was the one.
This was the one.
It was a Robinson family rifle.
This is the one that they found.
This is the one that was used, you know, from what they understand.
And there were no other rifles found at the scene.
This was really it.
It does look to me like the defense's opportunity to say that Robinson was not the guilty party here.
It that's definitely closing, right?
Their window of opportunity to do that, I believe, is closing.
The defense, so we're gonna dig into this a little bit more.
Libby, can you hang on for a little bit because I know we got cut off a little bit.
I'd love to just put a pin in this if you can hang on just past the break.
We're on with Libby Emmons, Jack Vasobic, even events daily.
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting bullishers.
All right, Jack, we're so back live.
Human Events Daily.
We're on with Libby Emmons, walking through this new ballistics report regarding the ATF bombshell ballistics report that's come out here in the Tyler Robinson case.
And so, Libby, just to put a pin on it, You know, this is going to be something that will be discussed at length in the preliminary hearing.
What are the dates currently of the preliminary hearing?
Also, we have a hearing tomorrow about media in the courtroom, and that is April 17th.
And then May 18th, we are starting preliminary hearings, and that is set to go every day, and we'll see what gets scheduled after that.
But May 18th looks to be when we start to get into the meat of it.
And so, Libby, walk us through just real quickly.
Tomorrow, we have a hearing.
In the Tyler Robinson case as well.
This is one that you and I have really been focusing on.
This has to do with cameras in the courtroom.
Tell us about that.
Yeah, so Judge Tony Graff is going to have to finally decide whether or not he's going to allow cameras and digital media in the courtroom to record what's going on in this case.
That includes live streamers and that includes, you know, camera people who are taking photographs or video.
And he's going to have to decide if he's going to allow that.
The defense has been opposed to that and they are opposed.
Because they don't like what the press has written about their client since Charlie Kirk was murdered.
The media also has an attorney, so that media attorney will also be speaking about the necessity of transparency and truth in this case.
I think that's exactly what we need to get into.
Libby Edmonds, where can people go to get access not only to this report, but all of the reports?
Because I know that the post millennial is releasing so many of them.
And Libby, it just By the way, as a thought that occurs to me before I, you know, a little administrative on air, why not?
We should see if there's a way we can make a specific, you know, heading or spot on the postmillennial site where people can just go to get all of the reporting in the case.
And that way you could go through finding the documents, the headlines, et cetera.
Do you see what I'm saying?
Yeah, an archive where you can read everything that's going on in the case from the postmillennial would be very cool.
You can check out what we've got at the postmillennial.
Also, human events.com.
And you can find more from me at the pod millennial, just my podcast, or at Libby Evans on Twitter.
Thank you.
All right, Libby Evans, thank you so much for that.
I want to bring in now Navy veteran Tom Sauer.
And Tom, you know, he's been on.
We've been talking about Iran quite a bit.
But Tom, I'd love if I can get, you know, just sort of your take on this ballistics report.
Tom, how are you?
I'm doing good, brother.
How are you doing, man?
I'm doing very well.
So, Tom, when I look through this report, you know, there are these questions.
So they've recovered the.
Intact bullets that were not fired, right?
Those are in the chamber of the rifle.
And, or excuse me, those were in the magazine well.
Then we see as well the spent casing, which is recovered in the chamber.
The fragments were recovered during the autopsy.
And because they fragmented, they aren't able to be specifically matched to this rifle.
So, Tom, when we see all this, you know, there's this question of, Or is this bullet the same bullet from those, you know, from that rifle?
Because, you know, this is going to be a key question in the trial.
Now, as far as we know, this is the only gun or rifle that was found at the scene.
We know that this was an individual who there's lots of other evidence about.
But just from a ballistics perspective, is it, you know, what would you say the odds are that this was fired by, that you would find a gun in this condition, that you would find the specific 30-odd-6 cartridges and, um, And jackets in this condition with the etchings on them.
But then somehow that also not be the gun that fired the shot.
Do you get what I'm saying?
I totally get what you're saying.
And I'd say it's beyond any reasonable doubt.
Let's just say that, right?
I mean, it's beyond any doubt.
And look, to me, I'm troubled by the fact that there are people who claim to be serious, that the round that killed Charlie did not come from that rifle and that Robinson was not the guy on the roof.
I think it's very troubling just in general.
But I mean, this is one of those things where it's pretty obvious what happened here.
So I just have a hard time understanding.
I just look at it.
I get, you know, take the opinion out of it, right?
It's just what, just from an odds perspective, as an expert marksman, I think you had an E, right?
Yeah, I've had a little bit.
I've done a little bit of shooting in my day.
A little bit of, you got your E, right?
Extra marksman.
Yeah.
Hey, just what are the odds that you'd find a rifle in that condition and then you'd find a fragmented bullet in that condition and that it wouldn't be it?
It's next to impossible.
I mean, was there another shooter just feet away who fired the exact same type of round and that Robinson was a patsy or something?
No, but just like the simple forensics and the ballistics report, I mean, that's enough right there.
Look, if it turns out.
That Robinson had a, you know, he had his 30 odd six, you know, rifle, hunting rifle, and then Charlie had been killed with a nine millimeter pistol round.
Okay, that would be some sort of doubt, I suppose, obviously would be, but that's just simply not what happened.
So it's, to me, it's just, it's so painfully obvious and frankly, really unfortunate that these types of, you know, look, I don't blame the defense attorney for doing their job.
Actually, Tom, let me ask you from a ballistics perspective, from a ballistics perspective, and, and, and, Obviously, I have lots of emotions about this one as well.
There's no question.
But from a ballistics perspective, do bullets always do the same thing when fired?
Do bullets always travel in the exact same pattern, in the exact same way, just like they do on the range in real life?
Is that something that you can always perform a test again and again and again?
No, it's never consistent.
I think that's a great point because there are so many variables.
When you're dealing with a piece of metal or lead that's going, oh my God, fast at various conditions, various densities of a bullet that has You know, like it's not every bullet is perfectly uniform all the time.
It's close enough, but you know, with different wind conditions, how it strikes and just the angle of the strike.
Like, look, when rounds impact things, they do very strange things in a manner that is not scientifically predictable.
So it's just like, yeah.
Is there a certain phrase that you might hear in the community that captures this?
Yeah, bullets do weird things.
Bullets do weird things.
Killer Evidence Analysis 00:03:35
And so the idea that, in this case, that it did fragment and those fragments, which of course came out during the autopsy, will play a significant role in that autopsy.
Is that something that you would see as consistent with the firing of a 30 out of 6?
Yeah, absolutely.
100%.
And the thing is, the fact that it's obviously very clearly came from the rifle in question, it's very clear.
Yeah, bullets do strange things.
Absolutely.
They do weird things when they enter the body, when they hit a metal target, when they hit wooden targets.
They all do all sorts of strange things.
But at the end of the day, look, we know the type of bullet that killed Charlie, and we have the rifle, where it came from, where it was recovered, everything there.
It's pretty open shut case, as far as I'm concerned.
Well, and that's, but you know, I think it's important to go through the evidence and to prosecute the evidence at the same level that.
it's going to face of the scrutiny at the trial, right?
Right.
And so that's why we look at these things.
And as an investigator, you have to say, okay, you know, what else, what other, right?
What else, what other?
And if you look at it and you say, okay, well, I know that it was a .30 caliber round.
I know I've got this rifle.
I don't have any other rifles around.
I, you know, I have this spent casing that is inside the round, you know, inside the chamber.
I have all these other rounds.
We know that one shot was fired.
I find a rifle that always one shot fired.
I mean, again, Tom, what I'm talking about here is.
You know, you're just ratcheting up the probability over and over and over that this is the rifle.
Yeah, I mean, let's just say, for instance, yeah, that's absolutely the rifle.
Now, for let's say Tyler Robinson hadn't turned himself in, which, by the way, he turned himself in, right?
Had he not done that.
And let's say the killer was still at large.
Then we might not know who the killer was, but we know the murder weapon.
So, I mean, we already have it.
It's right there.
Well, and then Tom can't remember.
Right.
And Tom, as you say, we, you know, having the weapon, you know, there are, you know, there are then these things called, and I know that through EOD, Work that you've done, and I'm certainly when I was attached to your unit, you know, there's these things called fingerprints that can then be lifted from that rifle and touch DNA in many cases that can be lifted.
And then further investigation can be done to that piece of evidence to be able to tie a certain person or, you know, in the past, a terrorist group or other group, a military unit, whatever it may be, to that specific item.
And so these are the steps that.
you would then take if you can't get an exact match you say well let's see what fingerprints are on this let's see what dna is on this etc etc tom sour united states navy veteran here joining us human events daily we'll be right back So, we're gonna call this the Jack Posobic Appreciation Hour.
I can say confidently, I believe, I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential nominee if it wasn't for Jack Posobic.
And that is, I'll be honest.
Ship Mining Threats 00:09:24
All right, folks, Jack Psobik back live here at Human Events Daily.
Folks, one in three people are going to face a battle with cancer in this life, and most are never going to see it coming.
Well, Dr. Kelly Victory at the Wellness Company did everything right.
She exercised, she ate clean, she avoided processed foods, and had zero symptoms when she went in for a routine mammogram in July of 2023.
Yet she walked out with an aggressive cancer diagnosis that could have been fatal if found later.
It revealed a hard truth.
Even healthy people get cancer and exposed a bigger issue.
Most modern medicine is reactive, not preventative.
You wait for a scare until you start to care.
Every day, our bodies are under constant pressure from stress, toxins, inflammation, and immune strain.
That damage builds quickly, year after year, and quietly, year after year, until diseases start to form.
Dr. Vickery asks a different question.
What can we do daily to support the body before something goes wrong?
That letter to formulate SHIELD.
SHIELD is a two part natural system designed to support immune balance, antioxidant defense, and cellular health.
Exactly the systems you want strong to live a long, healthy life.
In the morning, drink the high dose nutraceutical cocoa mix.
Then, with food, take soft gels with ingredients like medicinal mushrooms, turmeric, green tea, olive leaf, berberine, and black cumin seed oil.
Shield gives your body the tools it needs to keep cells healthy.

So, folks, you know, when we look at everything that's been going on in Iran, it seems as though the war, President Trump's sending out signals that the war is winding down.
And that ultimately, all of this has been about China.
And I have been pounding this for weeks, really since day one of the conflict, that it's all about putting that restriction on China, constraining their ability, and working to upend America's dependence on Chinese goods and Chinese manufacturing so that we can then eventually decouple the United States and China.
This is what the tariffs are about, shrinking that Chinese grip.
The U.S. trade deficit, which is now lowering.
Scott Besant, who I was with yesterday, the secretary, said that in the press conference.
And then we also see as well, it's about reducing reliance on Beijing.
We know that they're working, of course, with transshipments.
They send something to one country, then it goes to another country.
They say, oh, it's from Vietnam.
It's not from China.
But the original source was China.
That's why there are great programs out there.
China Exit Incentive Program is one of those that's really helping.
Tariff relief for companies that have been actively reducing their dependence on China.
So I've said from the start that I think this is all about China.
Tom Sauer, who is here as well, United States Navy EOD veteran, who's with us.
Tom, we've been talking, of course, the mining of the Strait.
That happened to an extent, right?
We're still working on understanding that extent.
Then our big Navy came in, U.S. Navy dominance came in and put the blockade on the Strait.
You say, guys, you know, I understand you talk about Carg Island, but Let's give the U.S. Navy a chance.
And that's exactly who the president relied upon the United States Navy, which is continuing this partial blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and performing absolutely admirably.
Tom, what is the latest?
Yeah, man.
So one of the things that obviously I talk to a lot of folks who are in theater or very close to the action, so to speak.
And one of the things I've mentioned here and on other shows is that, you know, we have not yet found a mine, at least as of a couple hours ago.
We have not yet found any mines.
We have been searching, though.
And we knew that we received what we call, you know, in the intel community, it's indications and warnings, right?
That, hey, we think that the Iranians might have been able to lay a dozen or so mines.
Before we took out all their major mine layers and most of their mine inventory.
However, you could still put a few speed boats with two, three, four mines on them in the middle of the night and just kick them over the side.
So that's what we suspect happened.
It's what we call indiscriminate mining, and that they did so in the main traffic separation scheme, which is like the main part of the strait where most merchant traffic goes through.
So we killed all their mine layers, took out all their inventory, but they still might have gotten a few through.
So now we're searching that actively.
Here's the other thing some of the indications and warnings that I've received from people in the know, and this isn't anything classified or anything like that, obviously.
I wouldn't share it even if I knew what it was.
Is that we do believe, though, that there possibly in the past 24, 48 hours, that there has been some additional covert, surreptitious mining going on.
Same type of thing.
Because, again, you might know, and I know this very well, that the Persian Gulf and the surrounding area is a very, very congested water space.
There's all sorts of like little fishing boats, merchant traffic all over the place.
You know, it's very tough in terms of coordinating between all the contacts and making sure you don't run or bump into anybody else.
So, what that means though is that like, hey, there could have been some bad guys who, you know, got one onto a fishing boat or some, you know, civilian looking boat and in the middle of the night kicked a couple of mines over the side.
So, there could be some more mines that we are going to have to deal with.
However, Again, worth stressing, we are actively searching the area using expeditionary MCM, which is unmanned underwater vehicles, underwater drones, so to speak.
And we're searching the area.
So there could be more.
But again, we still haven't found anything yet, to my knowledge.
Well, and that's interesting because what you could be seeing is, you know, potentially now, obviously, if that would be a violation of the ceasefire, if that were true, right?
So, you know, that, you know, stipulating that.
But also what's very interesting about that is Iran could be potentially trying to slip in, as you say, under the cover of night, cover of darkness and try to because what have they been trying to do all along?
They've been trying to close the main channel of the Strait of Hormuz and enact this new northern route for countries to go through passing Larrack Island.
Where they have to pay this Iranian toll.
So it would, you know, in the strategy of that, essentially, you're closing this wider southern route so that everyone has to pass through that northern route and pay their toll.
Would that be what you're looking at?
Yeah, that's probably what they're going for.
I don't think that's going to work for them, that's anybody going through the strait because we've made it really clear that we're going to interdict any of those ships that are transiting.
And even neutral ships that are not coming out of Iranian port that might be headed somewhere or hoping to pay the toll.
Which doesn't make much sense why they would, but if they tried to, we had the right to interdict them.
And keep in mind, we've got the strength of the entire United States Navy, we've got destroyers out there.
But don't forget, is everyone says, well, also, you can always do the blockade at a distance.
They call it a distant blockade because some people were touting that, oh, the Americans chicken out.
Look at these three or four ships.
They transited the strait and they already got out.
Like, we didn't stop them.
It's like, we don't have to stop any ships in the middle of the strait.
It's much better if we wait until they get on the open ocean away.
From any Iranian capability or anyone's capability, and then they like coastal defense cruise missiles, by the way, and drones, and all the rest of it.
You know, ships can be the United States Navy can interdict ships anywhere, that's kind of the whole point, yeah.
And as a matter of fact, like that's actually what the English did with the Germans, they did a blockade from a distance, they waited until those ships got way out to sea, so we're able to see them.
So then, further, the Germans were mining like crazy, yeah, they were.
And then it's uh, I mean, there's still 80,000 mines in the Baltic Sea now, so from World War II, which is insane.
But then keep in mind as well.
There's actually, if I remember correctly, one of the bays outside of Vietnam has a ton of mines in it that were left by somebody.
I forget who did that.
Yeah, that was us.
Yeah, on Haiphong Harbor.
Yeah, we cleared some of them, but there's still some down there.
That was us.
That was us.
Yeah.
Not that you would know anything about that, Tom.
No, not at all.
So here's the thing, though, is also keep in mind if we need to board these vessels, we will.
Because it's worth remembering there are thousands of Marines on board Navy ships, part of this task force, who are sweating their butts off.
who are waiting and are very upset at the possibility that they might not get to kill anyone this year.
And so, I mean, they're ready to go.
Oh, I'm serious, man.
Like, I mean, look, that's what Marines are for.
That's what they want to do.
Devil dogs.
That's what they're trained to do.
That's what they're for.
We love them.
Simplify to the devil dogs.
Tom, you, of course, are a devil dog as well as United States EOD special operator.
