I wanted to let you know that we're starting a new push for subscriptions here on Human Events Daily.
So make sure that when you're listening to this podcast, you hit subscribe, you download it, and you share it with five of your friends.
Make sure they're all going and downloading as well because we need to get the signal out as much as possible.
Look, we've done so much over the past couple of years since this show started, and we're only going to do so much more.
Let's get it.
This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Pisovic.
Christ is king.
It's been nearly three weeks since 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was last seen by her family in Tucson.
So right now, investigators say they might tap DNA genealogy databases to try to find her.
If unidentified DNA evidence can be connected to someone, it would give investigators more information and possibly lead to a suspect in her kidnapping.
The billionaire, former Victoria's secret CEO, Les Wexner, testified today in the House's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
New pressure on the former Prince Andrew this morning as UK police now say they're examining flight logs at a UK airport used by Jeffrey Epstein's private jet.
Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown wants Andrew to face police questions and says Stansted Airport in London was used to flight girls from Eastern Europe, saying his messages link at least one to Britain and the former Prince Andrew.
The former Prince Andrew has been arrested, presumably in connection with his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Donald Trump is today set to preside over the first meeting of his Board of Peace.
Unresolved questions on the future of Gaza still hanging over the event, expected to include representatives from more than 45 nations, the disarmament of Hamas militants, the size of the reconstruction fund, and the flow of humanitarian aid to the war-battered populace of Gaza among the major questions.
President Trump sticking by diplomacy with indirect nuclear talks with Iran.
But fierce power is on the way.
Everything is on the table.
The president is adding a weapon to the U.S. aircraft carriers, fighter jets, and weapons that he's already sent to the Middle East.
He's called it an armada.
And now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing.
And if they join us, that'll be great.
If they don't join us, that'll be great too.
But it'll be a very different path.
They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region, and they must make a deal.
Or if that doesn't happen, I maybe can understand.
If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.
But bad things will happen if it doesn't.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's episode of Human Events Daily.
It is Thursday, February 19th, 2026.
I am Benny Wright Harmony, filling in for Jack Bosobic, who is on assignment.
He's currently embedded with President Trump during his trip to Rome, Georgia.
Now, there, the president, he will tour an American factory.
He'll visit local businesses and deliver some really powerful remarks on the economy, which we've seen so much of these past few weeks.
Now, American affordability is the biggest conversation right now.
Earlier today, Jack was front and center for the historic inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace, which was held right here in Washington, D.C., with over 40 different countries.
Now, tensions are remaining high in the Middle East.
Millions are praying for peace and that Iran chooses that diplomacy.
And it is President Trump, he's unequivocal.
Iran is the biggest conversation right now.
We know with this Board of Peace happening, it's really suffice to say the stakes could not be higher.
The country and the world are hanging in the balance.
Now, we do have a stacked show lined up for you today.
Joining us later will be Joe Lavorno, who is the counselor to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant.
We will have Human Events own Kenny Cody and my co-host for the program, none other than Kevin Pesovic.
Kevin.
How you doing, Benny?
Nice to be here with you again.
Yeah, you too.
So Kevin, you have been watching this morning this Board of Peace meeting.
Talk to us a little bit.
What were your thoughts on the meeting with tensions so high in Iran?
Right, yes.
So that is a bit of a talking point there.
So we saw initial meeting of all the leaders there.
As we seen posted, a group picture of sorts.
We've seen Victor Orban from Hungary and Javier Malay as well.
And this is a initiative set by President Trump from, I guess, you know, he has some tension with the UN.
And so he took this initiative.
He said, the United States is coming out with $10 billion towards this.
Collectively, another $7 billion on top of that.
This is the peace president.
We're going through peace through trade and whatever we can do.
I mean, he's stacking up peace deals all around the globe.
So he wants to continue on this mission for sure.
So we're looking forward to the follow-up on that.
Yeah, and Kevin, one of the biggest takeaways that I thought was Trump said you will be finding out in the next 10 days what action the U.S. will take on Iran.
Now, this piqued a lot of people's interest because, you know, you have Fox News reporting that it could be as soon as this weekend that something happens, or it could be as late as, you know, mid-March.
And so, I mean, with 10 to 13 U.S. warships heading to the region, the Middle East is the main conversation.
Do you have a projection as to when you think something will happen from what we've seen, from what Jack has been reporting, and just overall?
Well, I mean, popular vote really is to really not get involved, I mean, with Trump and what he's doing here.
So I think we'll have a bit of a showdown.
I mean, obviously, everybody knows we're there now.
We're stacking up aircraft carriers, and it's a show of force.
I don't know, to give an estimated guess would maybe be this weekend, okay, maybe.
So, yeah, I mean, nobody wants boots on the ground.
Nobody wants anything, really, but we have tensions from this nuclear threat that's been ongoing for several years now, if not decades, depending on who you source.
So, yeah, so hopefully we can come to some compromise negotiations.
The president is a master at that.
So, I believe right now what we're seeing is just a show of force to get any active operations in Iran to back down from what they're currently escalating.
Yeah, I agree.
Well, we up next are going to be talking to the counselor to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, Joe Livorno.
And this is going to be a really great conversation.
We're going to talk economy, all those things, tariffs, what we can expect, and especially from this historic economic tour that President Trump is on.
So we'll be right back here after the break.
In our way in our golden age has just begun.
This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
Now it's time for everyone to understand what America first truly means.
Welcome to the second American revolution.
Welcome back to Human Events Daily.
I am Benny Ray Harmony filling in for Jack Posobiec today.
I'm joined by my co-host, Kevin Poseovic, the very one and only.
And we are actually joined right now by Joe Lavornia, who is the counselor to Secretary Scott Bessett.
And he's here to talk to us about the economy, Trump's historic visit to Georgia, and the American working man.
So Joe, thank you for joining us today.
Thank you for having me.
Glad to be with you guys.
Of course.
So Joe, let's get right into this.
This historic tour that Trump is doing, visiting factories and really putting the American working man on his back.
He is fighting for him.
What can we expect in the coming months to the coming years when it comes to how Trump is standing up for Americans all over the globe and just the work that he's doing?
Talk to us a little bit about that.
We saw in the first Trump administration, when we looked at real median household income, you had over a 6,000 over the prior 16 years under both Democrat and Republican presidents.
You saw a real increase in living standards across the board with the lower income people outperforming the higher end in percentage terms.
That was very important and very historic.
And President Trump, having had so much success in his first term, brought that forward into the second term by making sure that we didn't have the biggest tax hike in history, that that was fixed.
And then all these other tools to encourage capital investment, to encourage building, as the president is a builder, we could talk more about that, to galvanize the U.S. economy.
And what this will do is this will lower the inflation rate.
It will improve affordability.
Affordability is going to get better because of the actions President Trump has taken.
If you look, for example, stopping private equity firms from buying large swaths of housing, that is a very, very powerful tool to try to help get prices down.
As inflation moves lower, mortgage rates will continue to come down.
We're down about 1% from where they were last year.
And we expect rates to come down further because what the president is doing by unleashing a reindustrial boom, you're going to get lower inflation.
So this will all work together to raise workers after tax wages, raise their take-home pay, and the president is going to be highlighting this in his multi-state tour over the coming months.
And Joe, talk to us a little bit about that industrial manufacturing base.
Now, we're seeing manufacturing plants.
We're seeing jobs come back in troves that we've never seen before.
What do you think contributes to this?
And specifically what President Trump does for those people?
Where did this come from?
This passion for that American working class.
And yeah.
The president's a builder.
He's built many buildings over his full career and he's working with laborers.
He could relate to the average Joe, so to speak.
He's very comfortable around those people.
You see it.
And producing and building things.
But the Trump economic doctrine really includes many things and they're all integrated.
One is you need tariffs because tariffs incentivize high value added production to come back to the U.S.
That gets married with prudent pro-business, pro-growth deregulation, combined with low tax rates and cheap and abundant energy.
So the president, his policies effectively create an environment where people want to come in and do business.
They're incentivized to do business.
And we see from all the various announcements from both countries and foreign companies alike that they want to come into the U.S. to bring their capital in.
That will help rejuvenate the industrial base.
And we are seeing it in data.
Things, again, your viewers may not be aware of this.
This gets a bit geeky, but things like the Institute of Supply Management had its highest reading in months as the industrial boom kind of is just starting now.
Expect is it'll become more noticeable, as you hinted at, in jobs, high-paying jobs.
That is coming.
And Joe, I'm really glad you brought up tariffs because I want to talk to you about this.
So there was just a thing that was released that says that the tariffs that President Trump has put into place have actually contributed and helped the deficit by, what, 80%, something along those lines.
Talk to us a little bit about those tariffs and how we're seeing that money come back to the U.S.
So the tariffs have created a tremendous, they've raised a tremendous amount of revenue.
And the hope is that as more companies come in, they produce higher, the tax revenues will rise, you know, get more on the domestic tax base from more production, a reindustrialization, revitalization of the manufacturing sector.
And the tariffs ultimately will move lower.
But in the short term, they've added a tremendous amount of money to the Treasury's coffers.
It's one of the reasons that the U.S. bond market, the Treasury market, had a very big rally last year.
It was the best performing market among all its industrial peers.
And the tariffs on the revenue side are very important.
But I also want to add something else, forgiven the time, and that is that there was a report earlier this week that came out.
The New York Fed said that tariffs are being borne by U.S. consumers and businesses.
That's not the case.
If you look at the share of consumption that's coming from imports, the math that the New York Fed shows is not correct.
There has been a de minimis amount of consumption impact from those tariffs.
And what's happened, as you alluded to, is a lot of revenues.
That's allowed rates to come down.
Mortgage rates come down.
They'll come down further.
And again, really improve this affordability issue, which began under the last administration.
Say, Bendy, if I could touch on that too.
So Trump's first administration, he imposed some slightly lower tariffs against China.
And, you know, we all remember when he said he was probably the first president to sell rice back to China.
But so the second administration here, so Jack and I were with Secretary Besson in Minnesota last month, and we toured the Cambria facility.
This is engineered quartz.
So that is a major win for tariffs.
And, you know, they have a gigantic warehouse all about the American worker.
It's family-owned for generations.
And so that directly competes with China in such a way that they have these incentives and subsidies to sell us like low-grade quartz, whatnot, while we get it.
And we have to take the hit for that in this market.
So these tariffs are really, really punching back against them in this way.
And we were there to witness it.
We toured it.
It was a fantastic warehouse.
And yes, so I think that is what we might see a follow-up on today in Georgia.
Tariffs Punching Back00:03:52
Exactly correct.
The U.S. is the biggest economy and the most important consumer.
So we sort of, to use the president's word, hold the cards.
And that's why when people say the U.S. consumers and businesses are bearing the brunt of the tariffs, it makes no sense.
It's actually being borne by the exporter.
They're the ones that are predominantly paying the vast majority of this tariff.
And that's what we saw, as you alluded to the first trade negotiations.
We saw that with China.
China essentially ate the tariff.
U.S. consumer prices were low, low and falling.
And we're moving back to that same sort of scenario.
It's taken a little bit of time.
I think we realize that there was a lot of damage that was done before, but the trends are improving.
There's a lot more work to be done.
Things like energy costs, certain select food products are moving lower.
We are seeing shelter costs, rents, things of that sort move down.
That's important because that typically means that your cost of housing will fall.
Again, improving affordability.
So we're moving in the right direction.
And as the president goes on more tours and does more events, it'll be much more evident that our policies, which work extraordinarily well in the first term, have been rejuvenated and accelerated in a way that will have even a better economy.
You're even seeing that in the GDP data.
And importantly, the jobs will follow from this.
I think that's what people want.
People want the jobs, and that's what's going to be delivered.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's exactly right.
Especially we have these incentives from the Department of Labor.
They are posting these Art Deco things talking about apprenticeship programs.
So affordability, though, Joe, is, you know, this is courts, okay?
Engineered courts for countertops.
I forgot to say that at first.
So all the things you see in commercial hotels and even residential, very nice products for our countertops.
And these are mined in North America.
So just simply, you know, we don't want to pay for the shipping around the world for courts.
We could get better quality courts right in North America here, in America.
So that is definitely the review of Trump's tariffs.
What does this look like?
If the Supreme Court rules in favor against Trump, will we have to pay back those tariffs that were put into place?
Talk to us a little bit about this.
The Secretary sat in on the court ruling.
He was confident that we made a very powerful argument and that the Supreme Court will not overrule the president's signature policy or one of his signature policies.
He's accomplished a lot, and we'll have to see what happens.
But we're confident that tariffs, there's been such a powerful tool to encouraging foreign capital to come in to deal with these emergencies, which are significant.
Fentanyl, the decaying of the U.S. manufacturing base, which only President Trump integral and necessary part to essentially deal with this emergency.
So we'll see when the court rules them.
Obviously, it could be very soon, and then we'll take it from there.
But the tariffs in some form or fashion will certainly be here.
It's essential for the U.S. economy to grow and to produce things again like the president wants and to create these high-paying jobs, which are starting to come back.
And again, I'm confident will continue to grow and expand in the months and years ahead.
Well, Counselor, thank you so much for your time today.
I do just want to point out that Secretary Besson will be giving a speech tomorrow at the Economic Club at around 2 p.m.
That will be during this show.
So make sure you tune in.
Joe, thank you so much.
Thank you, Joe.
So, Kevin.
Yes.
Border Drama Unfolding00:07:38
Let's talk.
Let's talk about this.
We have about 40 seconds left, but how about that economy?
I mean, just knowing that President Trump is surrounded by people like Councilor Joe and like Secretary Besson, it's great.
It's fantastic.
I mean, so Besson is also going after fraud and all this.
So that's a major thing we got to stay focused on.
But also, Trump's asking, you know, for this, the gold card thing.
So he's pulling in businesses too from overseas.
So we've got to follow up on that.
I mean, if they're, you know, pulling them in and also implementing tariffs, that's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
Yeah.
We will be right back here with more Human Events Daily.
We'll be giving you an update on the Guthrie case.
Let's stay right here.
We'll see you soon.
Talk about influencers.
These are influencers.
And they're friends of mine.
Jack Russell.
Where's Jack?
Jack?
He's done a great job.
Welcome back to Human Events Daily.
Up next, the story that is gripping the nation.
This story has not just traveled across our nation, but overseas.
The Nancy Guthrie case, this is one that has truly wrecked many and has created many questions.
Now, my co-host today, Kevin Bisobic, he has been on the ground for the past seven days in Tucson, Arizona.
Now, Kevin has been doing some amazing reporting on this case, giving us those facts, those opinions, what he is seeing.
And so, I want to bring him in on this.
And, Kevin, talk to us.
What have these seven days been like on the ground in the desert in Tucson?
What is it like?
Well, I can say confidently that we have some waves of information coming.
We have sometimes, you'll know, the press release, and sometimes FBI says something, and Christopher Nanos, the Pima County Sheriff, he comes in and he doesn't give a press conference, but he gives an exclusive interview to some other people.
So, it's been a bit of a back and forth.
It's a classic who done it.
You know, I won't say murder mystery because we really don't know, but it is this classic kind of thing which is gripping everyone's attention.
And, of course, the Guthrie family and Savannah herself, they've produced about four videos, you know, pleeing for her safety and for everyone to do the right thing.
And so, I'm on that camp.
You know, I'm hopeful.
I still believe that she's out there and hopefully she's being attended to.
So, I could give you an update as far as today.
So, currently, I've been giving daily updates for Real America's Voice here.
So, we're having word of some polygraphs with people in question.
We don't know who their names are, but that's the latest for the polygraphs.
Also, we're getting reports in sources telling me that some of the media is traveling over the border down to Nogales in Mexico.
So, it's a bit of a split town there on the border.
So, there's an American, Arizona side, and then also the Mexican side to get questions from any locals there.
I don't know what that will produce exactly because it is so high-profile that some people might just not be willing to talk.
And that's what we're seeing with the neighborhood locals too.
Some of them are disgruntled.
Some of them are in favor of having the media there.
And just yesterday as well, law enforcement became a little not irate, but they were making claims that media should leave, okay, leave the scene.
And so, what I saw on the ground there, I mean, I'm just a field correspondent, so I have a small setup, and you know, but some of these people are like parked out front, they're sleeping out in their cars, like media, salaried people.
And so, I get that, but also the neighborhood is also saying they want the media to be there to cover, just to be respectful of the road.
It's a narrow road.
So, that's probably today and a bit of yesterday's updates.
But, yeah, we've seen a SWAT raid as well on Friday the 13th.
I live streamed that.
I was one of the first people there on the corner where we saw a bomb truck go in and two SWAT trucks come out and the whole convoy.
So, you mentioned, you know, the SWAT trucks and the different things, the different agencies that you're seeing around there.
I think one of the most kind of confusing and thing that's throwing a lot of people for a loop is the fact that, you know, the federal authority versus the local authority, right?
Is it Pimo, Pima?
The sheriff there, you know, that person, that individual knows that land.
That person is around.
That person has lived there for a long time.
And then you have those federal authorities coming in.
Do you think there's some sort of maybe, are there conversations being done between those two organizations and groups?
You know, what has that it kind of seems like a little drama going on.
What do you have to say about that?
Well, there's there is definitely a little bit of drama going on to as an understatement.
So, Sheriff Chris Fernanos, he's been in there for decades.
He's the head honcho.
Pima County's huge.
Okay, this is 9,000 square miles.
That's bigger than most East Coast states.
And, you know, so he's on record in 2016 saying that he does not like the FBI getting involved.
So, you know, fast forward, that was about 10 years ago.
So initially, he said, no, guys, we got it pretty much.
Like, we don't need your help.
And in the initial days, but lo and behold, that famous video now that we see of this suspect in front of Nancy's home, that had to be acquired by the FBI to even get that footage released.
So that wasn't even credited to the Pima County.
So moving forward, though, moving forward, to be fair, they have been forced into these joint operations.
As we saw, the signal sniffer with the helicopter tracking Nancy's pacemaker.
And also Border Patrol even was even assisting in surveillance with their helicopters, tracking down gloves, articles of clothing, whatnot.
And so, yeah, now they are working in conjunction, but still, Benny, I mean, we have just a lack of official press conferences and statements.
So we're being trickle-fed into this information.
Well, but yes.
So the final point is, yes, there's very much tension and there's a bit of an ego clash.
This guy wants to build his legacy, maybe have a statue built out of himself or something like that.
It's very unsettling.
The whole thing, in my opinion, it's very unsettling.
But you mentioned the media situation and how some of these members of the media may be traveling down to Mexico.
Now, one of the biggest conversations that I am seeing on social media and stuff like this is the media will be the these independent journalists like yourself, you know, Kevin that is out there with an iPhone and shooting these things.
They are saying these, this is how this case will be solved.
It will be the people with eyes.
It will be the Americans that are just normal people.
They will be the ones that solve this.
Now, your brother, actually, Jack, he tweeted just the other day.
Negotiation First, Firepower Last00:14:37
It's obvious that traditional media keeps attacking new media covering the Nancy Guthrie case because they are losing tons of market share.
Can't compete with the views the independents are getting.
Would you agree with this?
Absolutely.
Yeah, I agree with this.
So I'm still on the train of, you know, mainstream media is fake news, right?
Last time I checked, we had a president that famously said that.
And so we're providing that still.
I had a hip piece written on me because I'm just a field correspondent.
So I have a smaller setup.
So whatever reason, therefore, I've been bullied around on the scene there.
So, but either way, you know, we're kicking butt here.
We're getting the views.
We're pumping content out.
And we're actually ending up helping more than they are.
Yeah, you are.
You're doing a great job out there, Kevin, on the ground.
Now, we do have Kenny Cody who will be coming up next, and we're going to do a deep dive into the big Iran question.
So stay right here.
Will there be peace?
Will there not?
right here, Human Events Daily.
Where's Jack?
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news in the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys that be getting public.
Welcome back to Human Events Daily.
I am your guest host today, Benny Ray Harmony, along with my co-host, Kevin Pasovic.
And we are joined right now by a good friend, Kenny Cody of Human Events.
And we are going to be talking all things Board of Peace, Iran.
There is a lot to break down, Kenny.
First off, I want to hear your perspective, your opinion on the Board of Peace meeting that we saw this morning over 40 different countries here.
What was your take on this?
Well, it's what President Trump's been campaigning on over the last 10 years instead of, you know, intervention, instead of war, instead of this idea of an interventionist mindset, it's Trump collaborating with foreign leaders and trying to bring peace not only to the United States, but to the world.
You know, the United States has been the police of the world for such a long time and has gotten itself intertwined in different kinds of conflicts in the Middle East and across Europe and all over the world in times where it probably shouldn't have happened.
But I think the best thing that can be prioritized is negotiation, is diplomacy.
And I think Trump's not only bringing peace to the United States and bringing peace to the military, but trying to find solutions and trying to find, you know, end games that will benefit the United States, benefit the military, benefit these families that are sending their kids overseas to potentially put themselves in harm's way.
And I think that's the most important thing we could take away.
You know, being from Appalachia, being from Tennessee, you know, I see a lot of people.
One of my best friends in the world is a 10-year veteran in the military currently in the Air Force.
And I don't want to see him shift overseas for no reason.
I don't want to see him shift overseas to get intertwined in conflicts he shouldn't be intertwined in.
So I think, you know, the Board of Peace and these kinds of negotiations and these kinds of collaborations with foreign leaders are the best solution and the America First mindset that President Trump campaigned on went on in 2024 and originally come up with in 2016.
So I think he's continuing to carry on promises and continuing to fulfill all the promises that he's been campaigning on for the last 10 years.
And Kenny, along with your work that you do right here, you are also, you're an Appalachian Republican running for Tennessee's 11th House District.
We want to know, what's the word on the street about war there in good old Tennessee?
Well, I think most people here, I think I've gone along with the Republican Party over the last 10 years in changing the mindset.
And because I think they see a lot of young men around my age or a little bit younger that are getting sent overseas.
And they know veterans.
They know military families.
They know people from around here.
And they want to know that they are safe.
They want to know that they are, you know, the wars they're fighting for are worth it.
You know, they're not getting intertwined in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
They're not getting intertwined in the Middle East war that are not necessitated by force.
And I think that they know that they voted for a president that's going to prioritize those young men, are going to prioritize those people that are going straight from either high school or college or the workforce into the military and not wanting to put their lives at risk.
You know, I know so many veterans here in House District 11.
I know so many people that are currently my age that are currently enlisted in the military.
Like I said, one of my best friends is listed in the Air Force.
And, you know, I pray for him nearly nightly because I don't want him in harm's way.
But I feel comfortable in being a constituent here and being a citizen here in Appalachia, knowing that my best friend's life is protected by the decisions that President Trump is making, such as the board peace and such the anti-interventionist mindset that he has brought to the United States.
And I know that he is putting veterans first, he's putting Americans first, and he's putting the people of Appalachia and House District 11 first.
And that's why I'm a strong supporter of him and will continue to be in the Tennessee State House if elected.
Yeah.
And Kevin, you or Kenny can chime in on this, but the big question is, you know, we're hearing lots of, okay, we're talking about peace.
We're talking, we're negotiating, you know, no nuclear forces from one to the other, things like that.
But what do you think those conversations really look like when it comes to peace and coming to making sure the Middle East has peace, not just for now, but for decades and the future to come?
Yes.
So the anti-interventionalist mindset, that is a good one.
So what I, you know, I'm going to stick by what I voted for is no new wars, peace through strength, peace through trade.
Okay.
So my take is that, you know, Iran seems to be a little behind in their technology, their culture.
Everybody's talking about nuclear bombs being developed, this and that.
But we're over here developing all kinds of new technology, AI and potential laser weapons nowadays.
So they're just a little behind us.
Okay.
And really, I mean, so you take that and nuclear energy comes to my mind, you know, so maybe we could do this kind of trade negotiations.
I mean, we're already basically out front of their house right now in Iran staging these warships.
So we're definitely imposing on them or what do they say nowadays?
Azumar say they're mogging them.
We're mogging Iran.
And so I think it's just an intimidation tactic and that Trump will get correspondence.
And obviously, I mean, we can barely get information out of the Guthrie case.
So there's obviously intel that the public isn't being told.
I mean, justifiably so.
This is a very high stakes global, a global event.
So I'm relying on the president to handle this as he does.
He's a master, you know, negotiating deals here.
So that's where I stand on it.
Yeah.
And Kenny, it appears we heard this morning that there was this 10-day clock.
President Trump said within 10 days, we're going to hear something.
You're going to see something.
What does the world look like if Iran chooses defiance over diplomacy?
I mean, it's a really genuine question.
I mean, what would the future look like?
Well, as Trump has done with any other country that has opposed the United States or opposed its allies, I think he would try negotiation first or at least try the threat of the United States firepower first and then later negotiate.
I mean, you saw even a year ago in the Iran negotiations last year and the threat of war last year, it was used as a negotiation tactic.
And now that we have the board piece, I think those negotiations can be facilitated even further.
And the United States is going to lead those negotiations.
Of course, that threat, with Pete Hegseth leading the Department of War, I think there's a reason it got named the Department of War is because that threat of war needs to be there.
That threat of firepower needs to be there, but only in necessity.
And I think that's the main thing that Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump and Marco Rubio are all prioritizing is not just getting the military involved when it can be, but when it has to be.
And I think using that as a negotiation tactic will be the first thing that they probably do, as has been used in the past.
But this new board and this new organization that has been formed will necessitate probably a quicker response than Iran was willing to give maybe even a year ago and maybe even sometime last year.
But now we're going to be able to see, I think, a lot more negotiation tactics, the use of firepower, the use of collaboration with allies that we can probably rely on.
And Trump has obviously relied on with this board to facilitate those kinds of talks, to facilitate this kind of peace.
And I think by that threat of firepower, that threat of kind of unpredictability that Trump has been so consistent about during foreign policy, I think that it's going to be more successful than ever before when it comes to those foreign policy negotiations with Iran.
Yeah.
And then the question, Kevin, is the cost of war, right?
We just had Joe Livorno, and he's a very vocal American sentiment that he said this.
He said that forever wars don't benefit the American working man.
What do you say?
What do you say, Kevin?
No, they don't benefit the American working man, and that includes soldiers, okay?
These are men in uniform.
So if we play the tape out a little bit, I mean, okay, so we bombed Iran, you know, their nuclear facility with the bomber, the, you know, the stealth bombers, and we, we, we stopped them.
Okay, we blew it all mid-night hammer.
And yes, yes.
So if they are being defiant and they want to just, I guess they, I'm assuming, again, we don't know the intel, but they rebuilt everything or they just continued on.
So we played the tape out.
Okay, Ayatollah Khomeini, okay, he's pushing for this or whatever.
If we're going to take him out, whatnot, you know, and then bomb infrastructure.
So you're talking about a corrupt government and, you know, broken infrastructure.
How do we pay for that?
Right.
How do we pay for that?
When in reality, back here at home, we still have our own problems with our own government with anti-ICE measures and this and that.
And we have our own infrastructure problems with bridges falling down and boats crashing into them.
And we got H-1B drivers crashing into people, illegal immigrants.
So we have all these problems at home.
So are we going to be able to foot the bill for that over there when we have all the bills over here?
I don't know.
Well, Kevin, I think, and Kenny, I want you to chime in on this, but I think that's one of the biggest things.
That goes back to the America First, the whole aspect of the Trump presidency is America first.
And he knows that there has to be peace in order for America to be put first, right?
You have to make sure that those other countries aren't a threat to you.
And so I think that by the way he's doing it with this Board of Peace, I think this is a great indicator of what is to come.
And hopefully Iran takes some tips from this.
Kenny, we have 20 seconds.
Do you have anything?
Any final thoughts?
I mean, I think you saw with the Venezuela actions that firepower and that threat of firepower helps out Americans.
It helps out our country.
And I think Trump's going to be able to do that here in the next few months.
We'll be right back here with more Human Events Daily.
We'll see you soon!
He's written a fantastic book.
Everybody's talking about it.
Go get it.
And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
And we're going to turn it around and make our country great against him.
Amen.
Welcome back to Human Events Daily.
I am your host today, Benny Ray Harmony, along with my co-host, Kevin Posobic.
And we are joined by Kenny Cody, who is another family member here at Human Events, but he is also running for Congress in Tennessee.
But we are, we have some breaking news as of right now.
So this morning when we woke up, we got the news that Prince Andrew was arrested in connection to potentially using that public office to share confidential information in regards to Epstein.
But some breaking news right now, it does appear that he was released from being held, but he is still under investigation, our Kevin Posobic said.
So, Kenny, let's talk about this.
What is your take on this entire Prince Andrew situation?
And in my opinion, this just goes to show no one is above the law, even royals.
Yeah, no one knows about the law, even roles.
And, you know, I think I wish some things would happen here in our own country to elitists like Bill Clinton and literatists like Hillary Clinton that had connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
You know, President Trump was basically exonerated and anything and has been proven to be somebody who actually took Jeffrey Epstein down.
And I think these elites that have anything to do with Epstein, such as Stephen Hawking and others, Bill Gates or whoever else, needs to be held accountable.
I mean, I think that that's pretty obvious.
You know, I think it's been a hoax in the direction that, you know, President Trump called it one because it was protecting the elitists like Prince Andrew and not cost turning on the people that need to be concentrated on.
And I'm glad to see some accountability by Prince Andrew.
I mean, I just got to quit calling him Prince because that title was removed after these allegations came out and these files came out on him.
But I'm glad to be seeing him being held accountable.
And I think that even though he's been released, the investigation is still ongoing.
Hopefully this is the first string of many actual accountability arrests that we see.
And nobody was above the law as Benny just said.
And I think we need to see the same accountability for the elites that have been, you know, corrupting our country, have been abusing children, have been abusing the system for so long.
And that's mostly Democrats.
That's mostly the elitists that have been propping up the Union Party in our country.
And I think that this is the first of many that we need to see.
Kevin, I want to come to you next.
We were chatting earlier.
Accountability Tour00:07:24
It has been, what, 400 years since a member of the royal family member was arrested.
And actually, Andrew Colvet, he just put out on X in 2010, Andrew appears to have forwarded government reports from visits to Vietnam, Singapore, and China to Epstein, Kevin.
Files relating to the late financier recently released by the U.S. Department, they appear to show.
So he was sharing those state secrets as a member of the royal family.
Your thoughts?
Yes, exactly.
And that's what the initial charges were, that it is a misconduct in public office.
These are forwarded confidential trade documents as he was a trade envoy in his previous roles.
So I got to say, I mean, we've heard rumors about Prince Andrew over the years, and this is in America.
I can't imagine what they're saying about him in the UK.
So they have intel of what his whereabouts and what his dealings were, okay?
But it seems that they were kind of waiting because America had the files here.
And this latest dump has really more or less confirmed what they had in the UK.
So that is to me a direction that they took in order to apprehend him today and hold him in Norfolk.
But yeah, it's been since the 17th century, about 400 odd years since this has happened.
So, and that's big, that's a big deal.
Okay, that's a big deal.
This is a royal family member.
So this is not going to look good overall.
It's already global news.
And, you know, he's been stripped of his titles and military honors just last year.
So with all that, I mean, this guy, he's dealing with world leaders, World Economic Forum types.
Yeah.
And so there's plenty of scandals.
And last, I want to touch on, I mean, he's still under investigation, but I was also thinking maybe earlier, like if they did arrest him and hold him, like, you know, with all this talk to Epstein, I mean, we know what happened to him while he was being held in jail.
Oh, that's a good point.
It's an interesting development.
But yeah, we're going to stay on this as much as we can today.
We actually, we just got a video from Jack.
He is on the ground with President Trump in Rome, Georgia.
Hopefully we'll get that up here in a few minutes.
But yeah, this just continues.
You know, one of the big things, the big takeaways I took this morning when watching all of this was Prince Andrew said he doesn't remember the photos being taken of him with Virginia, the one, the one Epstein victim.
He says he.
Oh, we got pozo.
We got posto ready here.
We're going to take a look.
Jack is on the ground in Georgia with President Trump.
Let's roll the clip.
All right, Jack Soviet, we're here traveling with the president today.
Just wrapped up the Board of Peace inaugural meeting.
We're here doing FaZe Andrews.
You can see behind me multiple frames of the world leaders that are here on the air trip today.
I'll see you.
Turn around.
See the president there.
He's getting on the plane.
Members of the senior staff now also arriving, not taking time for any questions.
So we'll see if you have the opportunity for him to take any questions on the plane.
Of course, we want to know.
Questions, obviously, about Gaza, about this purported military base that's going to be put down, the International Security Force.
We're going to staff that.
Questions, of course, about Iran.
President Trump is saying 10 days.
We will know within 10 days.
What will we know?
What does he know?
What's coming out?
Jack Le Sovier here for two minutes events daily.
We're on our way down to Georgia.
We're on Air Force One.
We will let you know everything that we can as soon as we get.
Jack Silva.
There you go.
You can see right there on the screen, President Trump is getting off Air Force One, greeting those people right there on the tarmac.
We're following this.
Let's watch this here as he arrives.
Take a look.
I can't see exactly who he is talking to at the moment.
But Kevin, take it.
Wow.
Yeah.
So we see Trump coming down.
It looks to be probably leaders of Georgia warehouse managers, you know, of the sort.
He's going to be doing a tour of warehouses and small businesses.
I mean, I love when I saw him, you know, go through Philadelphia and get a cheesesteak or up in New York and a little bodega.
This is classic Trump we're seeing.
This is iconic Trump.
This is what, you know, we all love to see.
I mean, on the ground talking to the American workers.
This is small business that we love.
This is also, you know, what we see up in Appalachia.
And I think the Appalachian Trail goes down through Georgia, too.
I'm pretty sure that's an East Coast mountain range here.
So, yeah, we're looking forward to it.
You know, maybe we'll see some of the Georgia Peaches who are going to be here.
Kevin, Kevin, I just want to point out this is a historic moment right here on the screen.
I mean, there has never been a president, a president that has fought so hard for the American people.
It is absolutely incredible.
You watch him.
He doesn't sleep.
All he does is fight for the American people, whether it's in Georgia, whether it's in Texas, everywhere across the United States.
This man is fighting for us, and that is what this tour is all about.
It sure is.
It sure is.
I mean, so, yeah, again, I mean, he's going through.
This is probably tariff-related.
We're hoping to see another successful story come out of this.
Like I said, when we were at the Cambria company in Minnesota, so if we could do a little check here to see, you know, what is a major producer out of Georgia?
And yeah, Kenny, you are in, you're in, you are in, I mean, you are in the actual American.
I mean, I would say Tennessee is as American as you can get, right?
Appalachia, all the things.
Talk to us a little bit more about the work that President Trump's doing, your home state of Tennessee, and that run for Congress and how what Trump is doing encouraged you to do that.
Yeah, you know, I'm running for the Tennessee State House of Representatives.
It's such a great honor.
You know, trying to represent the Appalachian Mountains, represent where we're from in the Tennessee General Assembly.
But, you know, that's one of the reasons that I'm running is to see that Trump cares about the modern American worker.
I mean, all of our district is nothing but hardworking blue-collar Americans.
You're not going to find any elitist millionaire billionaires in Cock County, in Jefferson County, or in Hamlin County that I'm running to represent.
You're going to find the same people that he just shook hands with there.
You saw Herschel Walker.
You saw leaders from Georgia that he was just shaking hands with there at a manufacturing plant and these businesses that he has promised to protect and using tariffs and bringing manufacturing back from China, eliminating outsourcing green companies back here and benefiting Appalachians and benefiting the southern region.
That's exactly what I'm running to do to help him do that.
