Massive Military Build-Up In The Middle East, Is War With Iran Imminent?
Jack Posobiec warns of a potential U.S. military strike on Iran, citing naval buildups in the Persian Gulf—including the Ford carrier strike group—and air assets mirroring Operation Midnight Hammer, possibly targeting missile sites and leadership under Trump’s "surgical" approach. Emails from supporters (like a 21-year Navy vet) and critics (e.g., an Iranian citizen opposing war) clash over humanitarian risks and strategic necessity, while Posobiec ties Trump’s red lines in Geneva to past failures like the Shah’s removal. Diego Garcia’s strategic value for long-range bombing is emphasized, alongside warnings about foreign-backed regime change backfiring. Rising gold prices and Allegiance Gold’s America-first investments hint at broader economic implications tied to geopolitical tensions. [Automatically generated summary]

This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posovic.
Christ is king.
President Trump is the friend of the forgotten American.
Obesity is a disease of poverty, and these drugs have only been available for people who have wealth.
What about the people in urban areas who live in food deserts and are suffering from obesity and are locked into that system where they can only get ultra-processed foods, which are aggravating the problem?
This will be a lifesaver to them.
Mayor Mamdani is saying that if the state doesn't tax the rich, they'll have to raise property tax here in the city.
In laying out his $127 billion fiscal plan that, despite the gap, increases spending by over $14 billion, the mayor offered a strategy that offers Governor Hokul and state lawmakers a Hobson's choice.
Either pass election year tax hikes on the rich and corporations, or he will raise property taxes on everyone.
All right, take a look at this.
This is bizarre.

18-year-old Kartok Macho of Smyrna, Georgia, arrested after running toward capital with a loaded shotgun.
Iran's supreme leader is throwing threats around as nuclear talks with the U.S. resume, but Tehran still won't meet Washington's core demand to stop enriching uranium.
Now, the White House is giving Iran two weeks to close the gap, but Trump's also ramped up military pressure in the region.
I think the president has a lot of options.
We do have a very powerful military.
The president's shown a willingness to use it.
He also has a remarkable diplomatic team.
He's shown a willingness to use that too.
And so what the president has been very clear with the Iranians, and actually I just talked to Steve Woodcoff and Jared Kushner this morning about some of their negotiations, is the United States has certain red lines.
Our primary interest here is we don't want Iran to get a nuclear weapon.
We don't want nuclear proliferation.
If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, there are a lot of other regimes, some friendly, some not so friendly, who would get nuclear weapons after them.
That would be a disaster for the American people because then you have these crazy regimes all over the world with the most dangerous weapons in the world.
And that's one of the things the president has said he's going to prevent.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
We're here live, Real America's Voice.
Today is February 18th, 2026.
Anno Domini.
Is war with Iran imminent?
Well, as we've been reporting for the last couple of weeks, we know that the president's team is meeting with Iranian diplomats and Iranian team up in Geneva right now.
That's Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner.
They're there on the scene.
But what do we also see on the ground?
We see massive naval artillas, massive naval armadas on the way to the Middle East, to the Persian Gulf, to aircraft carriers in the vicinity, as well as a number of options for the president should he choose to launch a bombing campaign of Iran.
Know that Israel has been putting pressure on the administration saying that they want to see a bombing run done on Iran's ballistic missile capability.
This, of course, coming on the backs of those widespread protests that took place in Iran, which, of course, were in response to the maximum pressure campaign.
This idea that if you can hurt Iran's military, if you can hurt them economically, that it will lead to people, it will lead to pain in the streets, and that will lead to people coming out against the regime.
With those protests, that's largely what was seen.
People were protesting because of the economic conditions on the ground.
But again, when you look at the amount of material, not only in terms, I mentioned the Navy Armada, the Naval Armada that was sent over, but also in terms of the air assets that the president is sending over that are currently en route.
And if you look at just some of the stuff that you can find in open source reporting, you can see the tactical refuelers, the air-to-air refueling, much of the same type of equipment that was used in Operation Midnight Hammer was also being sent over to the Middle East yet again.
Put out a question earlier today.
I said, this is my email, you know, 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at humanevents.com.
Question of the day.
And the question of the day was: Should the United States embark in a war with Iran this year?
Should we conduct another military campaign with Iran?
And the emails are coming in.
I'll just pick a few that have been sent to me.
First one is from INT in Pennsylvania, says absolutely against it.
Next one from Nate says, War with Iran clearly is not in our best interests.
I'm in the Midwest.
I've seen zero appetite for it.
Absolutely zero.
This one from Alex.
Yeah, I believe we should do something, but it should have been done weeks ago when we still had the faith of the Iranian citizens.
We will face much more headwinds toppling the regime and replacing it with a U.S.-friendly leader if they believe we abandon them to their oppressors after promising delivery.
He goes on.
It's a long email.
You guys send the best emails.
This one from Lovana.
And anyone advocating to leave the Islamic regime in place after the 47-year history of them is a fool.
If they ever have a chance to nuke America or hit us with ballistic missiles, they will.
This one in from Robert.
Wow.
This is incredible.
I live in the UAE.
I'm a U.S. citizen.
I've been associated with the region since 1971.
My first visit to Iran was in 1970, 71 during their 2,500th anniversary.
I saw with my own eyes while doing some sport fishing near the Strait of Hormuz, the Marine Corps vessel ordered by Carter to rescue the embassy hostages.
I watched in horror later on television the crashed helicopters, shocked and embarrassment for that folly.
Many Iranians fell for the lies.
I hope the current U.S. administration will show the world again who we are and what we stand for.
I am MAGA, but I know if the U.S. doesn't kick some butt, our butts will be kicked by the world.
I hope that Trump can delay the book of Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation and kick butts.
So getting a lot of emails in here, 1776 at humanevents.com is war with Iran imminent.
We'll be back.

So by the way, your guys' emails, these are phenomenal that are coming in.
And we have our next guest lined up and I'll take a pause on the emails right now, but I'm going to get back to them because these are just incredible.
I love interacting and you guys are so fired up on this.
And you can see that there is a wide range of opinions in that 2024 coalition on whether or not the United States should do this.
Some people say, well, you know, Trump ran on peace, so he needs to stick with peace.
He can't start new wars.
Other people saying this, you know, a limited operation, something like that would be in the good of the world and for the good of the United States.
Again, we're just, we're getting everything.
We're getting everything.
And we, by the way, are going to report everything at the same time.
We are not going to sit here and tell you, you know, what we're supposed to say or something.
No, you know, we don't, I don't get talking points from the admin or anything like that.
That's not what's going on here.
What's going on here is we're going to give you the truth about what people are saying.
And in order to also provide some ground truth, I want to bring on a good friend of mine and a friend of the program.
It's Tom Sauer, U.S. Navy EOD veteran and someone I served with in the Navy.
What's up, Tom?
What's going on, brother?
Good to see you again.
Good to see you again as well.
So Tom, what I want to get into on this is, you know, you're someone who served in combat.
You're someone who served overseas.
When we're looking at the potential for what looks to me like we could be seeing a bombing run come up on Iran, another bombing run, but perhaps more, you know, with the nuclear sites already being neutralized, this one predominantly looking at ballistic missile sites, you know, enemy radar sites, of course, coming off the backs of the successful Maduro raid, that special forces operation,
possibly some special forces action on the ground.
What do you think that the American people should be looking for from the military side if it does seem as though President Trump gives the green light to this operation?
Well, I think we're seeing a lot of it right now.
Like seeing all the tankers, the cargo flights heading over there.
I mean, it's really, we all know that it's all about logistics and getting the infrastructure there.
I think that tells us a lot that, and I'm not saying that any sort of a strike is imminent, but also this is part of a negotiation and us letting Iran know that, hey, we're willing to talk with you in Geneva, right?
But at the same time, we've got carriers steaming in, the Ford carrier strike group.
So they need to know that bluffing isn't happening now.
Now, we can all remember throughout the years where we say there's a buildup in Iran.
It's going to happen this time.
And then for some other reason or another, it doesn't really happen.
But also it's really key to point out that like that, you know, Trump's strength, when we talk America first and peace through strength, it's the strength is really through deterrence and not entanglement.
So, you know, it's not about boots on the ground in Tehran on Tehran or anything like that.
And you know that's true because you're not seeing major troop movements heading over there, right?
This is primarily air and naval assets.
So it's also about forcing any sort of zero enrichment or anything like that.
And like no more, you know, Iraq style, you know, forever wars.
And I think when we're talking about, hey, now is like the best thing for them, as Trump would say, would be a regime change.
The thing is, it's only going to be if the Iranians do it themselves.
Now, do we have assets that are probably in Iran?
I don't have any special information, but I'd be really surprised if we didn't.
And we're backing that's backing proxies, that's cyber operations like we did that supported the Venezuela operation.
And, you know, hey, maybe we let them rise up like in 79, but smarter.
And the thing is, is the neocons out there, they're the ones that they want us finishing this mess, but Trump's not going to play with that.
And I'd say that diplomacy is going to be dead if the Iranians decide to cheat again.
Might, you know, the Geneva talks might be a nice photo op, but, you know, enriching uranium all the time, it's like, hey, if they walk or if they bluff or if they cheat, then that means we should probably strike them hard to let them know that we're not messing around.
That means, you know, hitting that, you know, hitting what's left of their nuclear program, all their missile sites, and then possibly pull back, but not any sort of occupation or anything like that.
So, I mean, those are some of the big ones.
But I got to keep in mind that like, yeah, there are risks with this, but I think us showing complete and total weakness to Iran is actually far more dangerous.
Well, and of course, look, this is, that comes off the backs of the Venezuela operation as well that President Trump oversaw.
I mean, they just saw the entire world just saw Maduro get pulled out of his bedroom in the middle of the night by United States special forces and essentially just, you know, frog marched all the way back to the waiting, the waiting Hilo and then off to a naval asset and then to Washington and eventually New York City.
So the idea, I think, here is that Trump's looking to run the table.
I think that's the way that I look at this.
He's coming off of that.
He's saying this worked really well.
Operation Midnight Hammer worked really well.
Let's go see if we can roll the dice again and take another bite of one of the problems that he views as something that he can really take off the table.
And again, this, and I'll put this, you know, just my analysis of where I think the president's coming from is that he really does view this as a threat to world stability.
He views this regime as a rogue regime.
He views their power, their influence as a malign influence in the region and wants to take them off the table.
He's meeting with the Board of Peace tomorrow.
I'm going to be at the meeting of the Board of Peace tomorrow.
So I think he's signaling the intention.
But Tom, to your point, I think it's these red lines that we keep being told about when it comes to enrichment, when it comes to various programs that they have, that if they don't want to meet the red lines, if they don't want to meet what President Trump is saying at Geneva, then he's showing very clearly that he is willing to swing the stick.
Absolutely.
And the thing it comes down to, like, hey, this is Trump playing the game of negotiation, but with like, you know, this is the, with a big stick behind it, right?
Threaten Big, Negotiate Bigger00:02:20
So it's threaten big, but negotiate bigger.
And hey, if Iran folds, then that means that we win without firing a shot or hardly any shots, right?
And if they don't, you know, then if they don't fold, we can surgically end their program with no trillion dollar quagmire and hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed or thousands of Americans killed, and which I think that's really the true Trump America first foreign policy.
I think that's a really important aspect of all this.
And I do agree with you that we could be seeing a maybe Maduro-style operation, but not the same because Iran is a much larger country than Venezuela in many ways in terms of its governments, infrastructure, et cetera.
I'd be very surprised if there was some midnight raid and we go ahead and steal Khomeini in the middle of the night.
But I see that us actually hitting them with a lot with their military sites, completely weakening them and also hitting some of the government infrastructure, government buildings, strikes against decapitation strikes against leadership.
That could happen.
But always remember, though, is there's still risk to this.
A very real risk.
Iran could hit our bases.
Before we destroy theirs, they could attack us elsewhere in the world via proxies.
But the real problem is, hey, if we have a nuclear Iran and look, we don't know how far away they are for our program.
Israel, of course, is going to say it's going to happen next week or something like that, like they usually do.
We don't really know the answer.
But I mean, right now, I feel that there are, this is a big risk that we're taking here, but it feels that inaction or sticking only to diplomacy is riskier than if we are forced to take some sort of action.
I really do hope that the Iranians see the writing on the wall and they back down or fold or take a deal.
I think that's better for everyone.
It's better for the Iranian people.
It's better for the individuals in the Iranian regime because they probably don't want to get hellfired themselves.
And it's better for America.
It's better for the region.
It's better for the world if we actually just force them to some sort of a deal or they're walking away from the regime or some sort of their option.
Because again, it's America first, but it's peace through strength.
And strength also means deterrence, not foreign entables, not boots.
And you see any serious person saying that.
Iranian Diplomacy Crisis00:03:23
Yeah.
And the one thing I'll throw out as well is as we know that, you know, we know that the administration is trying to pivot towards economic issues.
This is an area, right?
You get a flare up in the Middle East.
That's going to do what?
It's going to drive gas prices through the roof.
And that's certainly something in an election year that I don't think any administration is going to is going to want in, regardless if you're a Republican or Democrat.
This, of course, as we know, is what threw Jimmy Carter out of office in the 1970s when he had the original, the original Gulf crisis.
So a lot to look at in terms of this.
And to your point as well, I think President Trump and a lot of people in the administration are looking at this, knowing the story and the legacy and the aftermath of Iraq, Afghanistan, saying, look, the boots on the ground option is not an option anybody wants to get into.
Tom Sauer, I want to say thank you for joining us.
I know it was a short notice, but we threw this in because we saw what was going on in the Middle East and wanted to get some expertise on this.
Where could people go to follow you and see what you're up to?
You can always find me at Thomas B. Sauer, T-H-O-M-A-S-B-S-A-U-E-R on X.com.

Dietary Guidelines Debate00:14:38
Support American jobs.
Celebrate 250 years of freedom.
Drink coffee that tastes incredible because every sip should feel like a win.
All right, going back now to our emails.
We're also looking at this.
You know, we're seeing, by the way, a new Axios is coming out.
Huge report saying that Trump is very close to ordering a military strike on Iran.
A Trump advisor says the boss is losing patience.
I think there's a 90% chance we'll see military action against Iran in the coming weeks.
Washington sources say that this would be a joint U.S.-Israel campaign lasting weeks, quote, more like a war, and quote, completely different than the Venezuela scenario, quote, more significant and closer than the American public believes.
President Trump out with a new tweet right now, blasting Prime Minister Kier Stahmer.
He's talking about what?
Diego Garcia.
Why does this matter?
Well, guys, I wish I had set this up.
So Diego Garcia lies in the Indian Ocean, but it's almost, it's like south of the Persian Gulf.
And so it is within range of long-range military strikes for what?
B-2 bombers, for long-range bombing runs into the Middle East.
So Diego Garcia is a place where those bombers can be run.
However, the UK, which controls Diego Garcia, is currently looking at giving it away.
They're going to give away Diego Garcia, which of course would affect what?
The UK base there and the ability for the United States to stage their air assets there.
So President Trump very upset about this.
And here's what he's saying: that the island, Prime Minister Starmer is losing control of this important island by claims of entities never known of before.
In our opinion, they are fictitious in nature.
Should Iran decide not to make a deal, it may be necessary for the United States to use Diego Garcia and the airfield located in Fairford in order to eradicate a potential attack by a highly unstable and dangerous regime, an attack that would potentially be made on the UK as well as other friendly countries.
So he's describing Iran as a hostile actor here.
Prime Minister Stahmer should not lose control for any reason of Diego Garcia by entering a tenuous, at best, 100-year lease.
This land should be not taken away from the UK.
And if it's allowed to be, it would be a blight on our great ally.
We will always be ready, willing, and able to fight for the UK, but they have to remain strong in the face of wokeism and any other problems put before them.
Do not give away Diego Garcia.
And of course, the UK made the disastrous mistake in the 1980s, which was codified in 1997, 1997, of giving Hong Kong over to the Chinese Communist Party, which again is a blight on British history.
It's a blight on the history of humanity.
It should never have happened.
It should never have rewarded the Chinese Communist Party by giving Hong Kong back over to them.
And you've seen the way that the CCP has treated the people of Hong Kong ever since.
You appeased, you appeased Beijing.
You appeased the Chinese communists.
And how did they repay you?
With more communism.
And by the way, they broke every single promise that they made to the UK.
What would they do with Taiwan?
The exact same thing.
But of course, AOC doesn't know anything about that, so she would not be able to talk about that in a smart way if she were asked about it off the cuff.
Let's see.
Wow, here's an email that came anonymously, but hey, it says, hi, I'm currently in ISC.
So that's an intelligence specialist chief in the Navy.
My answer is this: Chiefs of the Backbone of the Navy.
Don't really care.
I've been in for 21 years, straight GWAT vet.
Know for a fact Iran is guilty.
GWAT was a lot of BS.
This is more straightforward.
Hopefully, more free tax money.
Have a great Navy day.
Get this one in from Lawrence.
Hello, not a single American should be put in harm's way.
America is being overrun by third world colonists.
There are no tech jobs available.
Housing prices are out of control.
College graduates with STEM degrees can't get jobs in their fields.
Inflation is running rampant.
Has anyone in the cabinet seen the price of milk or a pound of ground beef?
We can't even arrest and deport Somalian fraudsters.
Frian Waltz, with the help of, I can't say that word on air, an orc army cub, curb stomping ICE.
We need to prosecute the members of the Epstein client list.
And yet people associated with this list, like Les Wexmer and Larry Ellison and many others, et cetera, et cetera, are trying to push for many people to die for their foreign policy delusions.
AHS, I'm probably going to stay home for the midterms.
I can't bring myself to vote for another time for this administration.
But if they attack Iran, I might just vote for the Democrats so we can burn the whole thing down and rebuild from the ashes.
Okay, that's from AHS.
Here's one in from Chase.
This is terrible.
The country's going to hell in a handbasket.
Rick, I don't think it will be a war.
I think it will be like Iraq in 1991.
So again, we're getting this from all across the entire spectrum.
These emails are incredible.
Here's one from Lynn.
This is an incredibly volatile situation.
I don't want to put our soldiers in harm's way.
My ex-husband spent two and a half years in Iraq and our three kids suffered, as did I.
However, I believe the Persian people have suffered for two generations, are being slaughtered by the IRGC.
So for humanitarian reasons, we should help.
We're the only ones who can help free these people.
Now, with that said, where do Russia and China stand on this?
To me, that's a bigger question.
We don't want to fight either of those powers.
I'm glad I don't have to make the decision.
It's a very tough one, but I keep thinking of these poor people suffering though.
So guys, you know, this is just, it's across the gamut.
You guys are fired up over this.
I love seeing these emails.
I love hearing from you guys.
I love hearing from doing this.
We're going to do more of these, by the way.
1776 at humanevents.com.
Please, please, continue senior sending in your emails.
right back human events daily where's jack where is he jack i want to see you great job jack thank Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys should be getting public.
President Trump is the friend of the forgotten American.
Obesity is a disease of poverty.
All right,
Jack Posobiec.
We are back here, Human Events Daily.
Wanted to take a second to bring on our Assistant Secretary of Health, who I got to meet at some of the HHS meetings earlier this month.
Huge guy explaining Maha, bringing the Maha agenda to the American household and to, of course, everyone's dining room table.
It's Dr. Brian Christine.
He joins us now, the Assistant Secretary of Health.
Dr. Brian, how are you?
I'm great, Jack.
I hope you're doing well today.
Happy Ash Wednesday.
I love the fact that you have the ashes on your forehead.
I'm going to service and going to mass after I get off today, but it's great to be here with you.
Well, phenomenal.
And I think it's a day where we're all Christians to just, you know, just mount up and throw them up there and get it out.
And that's, you know, that's what it's really about.
You know, when you look at Maha too, that's what it's all about.
It's about taking what you believe and actually putting it into practice.
And that's what HHS is really pushing for.
I know you guys have, of course, a lot of this new media that's coming out, the Kid Rock videos.
And, you know, they asked me to be in that, but I was going to do it.
But, you know, I just, I, you know, my schedule was a little busy.
You know, I just couldn't make it when they were shooting.
You know how it is.
I got you.
I got you.
Well, Secretary Kennedy, I tell you, there's no one like him.
That is a man who lives the lifestyle that he advocates for.
He eats in a healthy way.
He exercises.
He's outside.
Listen, he is for all of us Americans.
He wants to make America healthier than we've ever been.
He's leading the charge.
And so talk to us about this new real food initiative.
Of course, working with Mike Tyson as well and other celebrities.
I mean, Bobby Kennedy, of course, himself, Secretary Kennedy, is a celebrity in his own right.
But what is the push when it comes from a policy perspective that people can expect to see?
Yeah, our message is simple.
Under Secretary Kennedy and under Secretary Rollins, we work together to develop our new dietary guidelines.
But our message is simple.
Eat real food.
avoid highly processed, ultra-refined carbohydrates in food.
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Reduce sugar.
Avoid sugar, especially in our kids.
Avoid added sugar.
That's our message.
It's a simple message.
But if you eat this way, if you approach nutrition this way, then you're going to have a healthier lifestyle, but you'll also have a more affordable lifestyle.
The message is simple, but the effects are profound.
And it's really as smart as that.
And so, you know, Dr. Brian, I say Admiral Bryan, I should say, as part of the commissioned U.S. Public Health Service, that one of the things that we also see, this is something that I talk about with my wife all the time.
And you actually got to meet her at one of the public receptions that was being held down at HHS.
She comes from Eastern Europe.
They don't talk about farm to table.
To them, that's just food.
They don't do processed food the way that we do.
And so for her, she came to the United States as a teenager and said, you know, I love the United States.
I love the freedoms that I have here, but what is going on with the food?
No, my wife is from the United Kingdom, and she will say similar things.
Listen, the truth of the matter is prior food guidance, prior food pyramids really were built upon the highly processed, the ultra-refined fruits, the sugary foods, the sugary cereals.
What we've done is we've taken that pyramid and we've really flipped it on its head.
And so what we are emphasizing is real food.
We're emphasizing protein, nutrient-dense food like protein from fish, from eggs, from beef, from poultry, from seafood.
We're emphasizing that you need healthy fats.
You need some saturated fat in your diet.
You shouldn't be afraid of that.
That's healthy.
And we say carbohydrates should come in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Again, this is the kind of food that our body craves.
It's the kind of food that we were always meant to eat, except that our guidelines had really been captured by corporate America.
The guidelines previously were guaranteed to put money in the pockets of the corporations, but they weren't guaranteed to make Americans healthier.
With our guidelines, we've placed America and Americans first.
These are a seismic shift, but they make complete sense.
Well, I've got to ask, too, that, you know, we've all heard the story about how that original pyramid that got rolled out in the 1980s was really constructed by the lobbyists, by the food industry.
You know, when it came to this time around, what kind of pressure, can you guys tell us what kind of pressure did you guys at all come under from industry when you really worked to just flip the whole thing?
Right.
Well, the leadership of Secretary Kennedy and Secretary Rollins at USDA, strong leadership going forward.
They were told by the president, we have a mandate from the people.
The people want us to make America healthier than we've ever been, healthy again.
And the dietary guidelines are an important part of that.
And so what we did is we marched ahead with science.
Science supports our guidelines.
The best science there is.
Support our guidelines.
And we marched ahead and we knew, yes, there would be pushback.
But listen, we were bold.
We were strong.
We moved ahead under their leadership.
And now we have dietary guidelines and an approach to nutrition that truly are gold standard.
These are the best thing I've seen.
And listen, I'm a surgeon.
I've practiced for over three decades.
I know the results.
I know what happens with obesity in this country.
Every time I took a patient to the operating room who was obese, I knew there was a greater risk of death and complications because of their obesity.
And I knew their obesity was at least in part because of poor dietary guidance.
These guidelines, like I said, are a seismic shift.
If we eat this way, we're going to be healthier.
And again, this is a more affordable way to eat.
The leadership of Secretary Rollins, Secretary Kennedy, and of course, President Trump has been rock solid.
Well, and one of the keys here as well, and when we had Casey Means on, this is a big piece of it as well that we talked about is, you know, working with some of the big partners out there, not just the companies, but working with the government, particularly, by the way, the military.
Look, I can remember being in the Navy and eating on ship or eating on base.
You know, when you look at those meals, those purchases, what goes into them, the guidelines that go in, this is actually a place where the federal government can make direct changes, isn't it?
More Affordable, Healthier Eating00:02:44
That's exactly right.
So the guidelines and the recommendations for better nutrition that we put out, these affect Americans at large.
However, they also have a direct effect, like you've said, on how we feed our warfighters.
The guidelines are going to dictate that.
They have a direct effect on how we feed our children in schools.
The guidelines will guide that as well.
So yes, these guidelines have far-reaching effects in this country.
You know, when you look at the guidelines, I told you that we emphasize protein, we emphasize healthy fat.
We say fresh fruits and vegetables.
If you look at what's going on in our economy, food prices under President Trump are down across the board.
Eggs are so much less expensive now than they were a year ago.
Poultry less expensive.
Fruits and vegetables and seafood less expensive.
If you eat per our guidelines, listen, I've done the experiment.
We've looked at it.
It will put money in the pocket of the average Americans.
These guidelines are more affordable.
They're healthier.
They are exactly what America needs.
And when you look at that, look, I'll just say it.
You know, my family's been noticing as well.
My wife has been noticing it as well.
Food is starting to taste better out there.
It's just got this quality to it that you're starting to see just little bit by bit that actually is richer, it's more nutrient dense.
That people, I believe that that's in part due not just to the federal government pressure, but also I think to the public awareness campaigns.
And, you know, people can, you know, laugh at some of the videos that go out, but they're actually highly effective when it comes to that.
So we're just about out of time, Dr. Brown, but I have to ask, when will you be doing your workout video with Secretary Kennedy?
Listen, I am ready to do that anytime.
I would love the chance to work out with the Secretary.
He is an inspiration to all of us here at the Department of Health and Human Services every day, but I would love to do it.
I'm sure he'll whoop up on me as we say in Alabama.
But listen, I welcome it.
Oh, God bless, Admiral.
Happy Ash Wednesday to you as well.
Thank you so much for joining us here on Human Events Daily.
Thank you so much, Jack, and bless you and bless our president, Secretary Kennedy, and bless the country.
God bless.
Amen.
We'll be right back, Human Events.
Great, guys.
He's written a fantastic book.
Everybody's talking about it.
Go get it.
And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
And we're going to turn it around and make our country great again.
Amen.
All right, Jack Posobiec here back live, Human Events Daily Folks.
Multi-Front Scenario Prep00:08:28
I got to tell you, you know, and I will tell you, pay attention to what is happening with the dollar debt and central banks.
It's all piling up.
And when things get rocky, gold has always been the safe haven.
And when wars and rumors of war come, gold is not just defensive, it's an offensive asset.
That's why I've been working with my partners over at Allegiance Gold for the past three years.
They help you protect your savings and your retirement with real physical gold and silver, not paper promises.
And now Allegiance Gold is making it even better.
They will donate 1% of qualified investments from this audience to Turning Point USA or another great America-first organization, in addition to the 1% you already qualify for.
So you can protect your wealth and support the movement at the same time.
If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it.
Don't overthink it.
Don't wait until it's too late.
See what's going on with gold today.
And we know, just go look, folks.
Gold is now back over 5,000 as reports of a potential military strike, another military strike, or a bombing campaign in Iran are imminent.
Call 844-577-7676 or visit protectwithposo.com.
That's 844-577-7676, protectwithposo.com.
Protect your future and stand with me fighting for America.
By the way, I wanted to get you guys this map and we're working on pulling it up of exactly where Diego Garcia Island is to give you a sense of where it is that we're talking about, what it is that we're getting into in terms of all this.
We're working on pulling that up because this is important, right?
Maps cut through the rhetoric.
Why does this island matter so much?
Why is President Trump tweeting about it?
Why does it, you know, why does it matter?
This is why, by the way, the chief of the Israeli Home Front Command, Major General.
Oh, wait, there it is.
There's the map, actually.
So Blame I asked.
Here's the map.
So if you look at the red dot, the red arrow, that is where Diego Garcia Island is.
It is currently in control of the British, which allows the U.S. basing rights there.
Then, if you look at it, like I said, it's not directly south of the Gulf, but in relative terms, it's much closer than the United States.
And it allows, because even though it is over 2,900 miles away from Iran, that is still within range, especially if you use those mid-air refuelers, still within range for long-range bombers to be based in Diego, right?
Where that arrow is, fly the 2,900 miles north, be able to conduct their strikes and then turn around.
They may need one refueling within time and then make it all the way back.
And of course, we saw that.
And then you could have sustained runs.
You could have all sorts of optionality for the president for these strikes.
That's why the president is tweeting about Diego Garcia right now.
And so it's why you think one of these little islands out there in the middle of nowhere might be might be a place like, oh, I don't know, the name of Guam, or it might be the name of Diego Garcia, or Midway, or the Philippines, or Hawaii, suddenly can become extremely important for military air operations.
If you understand, it's all about logistics, logistics, logistics.
This is also why, by the way, Puerto Rico became a U.S. territory because of naval logistics for naval assets, those patrols in the Caribbean Sea and the now Gulf of America.
I want to go back to your emails because they are so good.
But before I do, I promise you this breaking update.
So word out from the chief of the Israeli Home Front Command, Major General Shea Calper.
We are preparing for a large multi-front scenario, multi-front.
So potentially, you know, looking at something that could be more than just Iran, if you're talking about multi-front, or perhaps would they, you know, consider Iranian proxy, southern Lebanon, going back to those elements of Hezbollah that are there.
Again, Shia militias in Iraq, a lot of different potential that could mean.
So that's the word that we're getting right now out of Israel.
This is interesting.
Tucker, just seeing this headline.
Tucker Carlson is claiming that he was detained in Israel, dragged into an interrogation room, and claims that this happened following an interview with Mike Huckabee.
So more to come on that.
I have no idea what that means.
And in fact, the last I had heard that he had left Israel.
So perhaps this happened before all of that took place.
So again, I promised you guys the email, 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at humanevents.com.
A little bit of housekeeping.
So tomorrow, just come out and say it.
I will be traveling with the president all day tomorrow at the Board of Peace meeting as well as traveling with him down to Georgia where he's expected to speak.
on economic issues.
But of course, you know, if more military issues do come up, if he does decide to make a decision with Iran, perhaps we may get a speech regarding that as well.
So I'll be in and out of Human Events Daily as best I can.
I'm not going to try to leave you guys hanging.
So we're going to bring on some incredible support from some folks that are in the family.
But of course, I'll be able to come in as best I can.
But of course, you know, with the president's travel, with his schedule, it's always as literally up in the air.
But we'll give you guys the latest from inside the room where I will be one of the only people in terms of new media allowed in the room during the private part of the Board of Peace meeting tomorrow morning, Washington, D.C. at the Institute of Peace.
I'm going to get back to these emails and keep sending them in.
Keep sending them.
We're going to read them.
We're going to keep going through them.
Here's one from Kimberly in Michigan.
She says, hello, Jack.
No, I don't think we should get involved in Iran.
We need to worry about our home.
There's too much going on in this country.
This one from Matthew, who says he is a Christian author, pastor, and servant.
I wanted to write in to share that I believe the buildup in Iran is prophetic to Ezekiel 38 and 39.
See, the nations mentioned that Ezekiel mentioned in the picture below.
Oh, he's got an attached picture.
I see.
I believe the Lord is about to move very soon.
And I believe that we are fully in a pre-tribulation rapture.
And this is pre-tribulation dispensation theory and believe that all of the military buildup is exactly as foretold.
And of course, we talked about that in our Tales of Regime Change series with Joshua Lysak.
Dear Mr. Posobik, I am an Iranian citizen who strongly opposes war and military escalation.
The financial, human, and social cause of conflict are immense, and they are borne almost entirely by ordinary people, not by political actors.
I'm also concerned with certain opposition movements that appear to prioritize foreign support over domestic legitimacy.
Political change that depends primarily on external backing risks undermining national sovereignty and public trusts.
History shows that such arrangements often serve external interests more effectively than the needs of local populations.
So he's really talking about how the Iranian people should determine the future of Iran.
And of course, when we look at the history of regime change in Iran, done going back to the United States, getting rid of the Shah, going back to the British and British petroleum and everything that happened there years even before that, you really get this sense of when you push for a regime change.
I'll say this.
When you push for a regime change, you never know what's going to happen on the other side.
This has been the story of regime change from every single one that we've looked at.
Does it get better?
Does it stabilize the situation?
I'm not saying that it can't.
What I'm saying is you can't determine that and you can't know that.
Nobody can know that.
So going into one of these things, that's absolutely something that needs to be measured.
Trust In Measurement00:00:45
And I trust the president to measure those things and to understand those things.
He's seen the Iranian people.
You've seen his tweets about this, his support for the Iranian people.
He's also, of course, looking at the situation through a lens that we don't all have.
And so, when he makes his decision, and of course, based on what we're seeing, it does seem like his decision is either going to be imminent one way or another and really contingent on these Geneva deals.
So, folks, please keep your emails coming and we are going to read them.
We're going to pass them on wherever we can.
As you know, I mentioned I'll be spending the day with the president's team tomorrow from the White House en route to the Board of Peace as well as down to Georgia.
