This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

This is an ICE-related shooting in Minneapolis.
This is at East 34th Street and Portland Avenue, not too far from Powderhorn Park.
This is a live look at the situation here.
Authorities are confirming this was a shooting, an ICE-related shooting.
Again, we know that there is a huge ICE presence in the metro area, the largest immigration operation ever happening right now in the state of Minnesota.
We know some 2,000 agents are here.
They've been here over the last couple of days.
And this is what a lot of local authorities had feared the worst.
They did not want this to happen, talked about it often, that this was the fear that something was going to, something badly was going to happen after this.
We do not know the severity of the injuries here.
We do not know much more other than a shooting has occurred involving ICE in the city of Minneapolis.
Right.
And the governor on X saying under his Twitter account or X account, my public safety team is working to gather information on an ICE-related shooting this morning.
We will share information as we learn more.
In the meantime, I ask folks to remain calm.
We've also heard from several different entities telling people to please stay away from this area.
Obviously, it's an active situation.
It's an active police investigation.
And then there are people gathering.
This does look like it's a residential neighborhood.
You can see homes there.
We are watching this real time here.
Obviously, as agents are walking through, you can see a lot of people, a lot of people shouting things at the officers, the agents, as Corin had mentioned.
People have their phones out.
There's been live streams of this.
So a lot of interest into what exactly happened here.
What exactly is going to happen going forward?
Corin obviously has been on the scene talking to witnesses as quickly as we can.
One person told him it was an observer.
And we've heard about these observers who have been there watching ICE activity, recording it, documenting it.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome toward today's edition, Human Events Daily here on Real America's Voice.
Today is January 7th, 2026.
Ano Domini, I'll get that straight.
We're going now to look into what happened just moments ago in Minneapolis.
ICE was conducting operations.
We know that they've got these massive deployment of agents that are up there, massive deployment of agents that are on the ground conducting operations, one of the largest deployments.
And in this video, which we've now obtained from on the ground in Minneapolis, we can see a woman who is behind the wheel of an SUV is engaged by ICE officers, ICE agents.
And rather than step out of the vehicle when they ask her to, she hits the gas pedal and attempts to floor into one of the officers who's standing directly in front of her.
And we've got an actual, if you guys could freeze the or pause the video at that point, that you can see there is an officer standing right in front of her, right in front of her, as she hits the gas pedal.
Makes no attempt to, oh, there it is.
We put this up on Twitter as well.
So guys, make that full screen real quick.
We're just directing on the fly here a little bit because this is key.
Look at the way her wheel is turned in that image.
You can see the wheel turned directly towards the officer.
Look at the wheel, right?
You can see that it's at a different angle.
That means she is turned directly towards the officer at that point.
You see the way the wheel is turned.
Know that the officer, and you can see his head right there.
So she's pointing directly at him.
She then, now she's at the, on the brakes in this photo, but we know in a minute, directly, you can see the lights that are flashed up because she's on the brake.
The very next instant, she hits the gas pedal and we've got the video there.
So we've got it all on video.
He then makes the move to defend himself.
People have asked me before, what are the rules of engagement for ICE officers, for any officers in these situations?
And the rules of engagement are the rules of engagement.
These are not, okay?
These are not anything that supersedes your right to self-defense.
It does not supersede your right to self-defense.
No.
You always have the right to defend yourselves when conducting operations.
And that's exactly what this officer did here.
He acted upon training.
You can see it on the video.
She backs up.
She has the wheels turned.
She then floors into him, right into him.
And he has to get out of the way.
It looks like she may have actually hit his leg.
And this is an attempted murder.
You cannot blockade or impede operations.
And if you see earlier on in this video, it looks like that.
Why is her car even blocking them in the first place on the street?
She's parked in the middle of the road, perpendicular to the roadway, which is not a way that you're supposed to be parked at all.
So there's no question when she's going to get, when they walk up and they ask her to get out of the way, you can see she's blocking traffic.
She's actually blocking traffic with her SUV.
You can see in the first part of the video right there, there are cars trying to get her out of the way.
There are people that she's blocked.
So you can't block ICE operations and then you can't run over ICE officers.
These are illegal actions.
And then if you attempt to murder a member of law enforcement, they have the right to defend themselves.
This is the real world.
And Jacob Fry, the mayor up there, is committing sedition when he says that ICE should get out of Minneapolis.
No, I'm sorry, Jacob Fry.
Minneapolis is United States territory.
You are a local mayor.
You do not have rights that supersede the federal government conducting lawful behavior.

I want to bring on now, we're on with General Flynn.
He's joining us.
We originally were going to talk about, and we'll get to it, of course, this seized tanker up there at the GI UK gap in the North Atlantic.
But General Flynn, I've got to get you in and your thoughts on the latest that we've seen, the left already erupting in this case up in Minneapolis, where it appears this, and we've got it on video.
This woman charges an ICE agent with her SUV.
He then responds to defend himself.
And we're now told that the woman who is driving the SUV is now deceased.
What are your thoughts on where this is going to go?
Yeah, so number one, it's sad that the woman was killed.
And it's sad that she put herself into a position where she looked like she was going to run that ICE agent over.
I mean, so the guy, these people are up there to do a job, directed by the government, and these are human beings and they're federal law enforcement officers trying to do their jobs and they're directed to do those.
And this woman was clearly blocking the road.
So, you know, I won't sit here and investigate this thing over the air with you, Jack.
But the fact that she's died now, the mayor of that city and the left is going to take this thing and they are going to run really, really hard with it.
And boy, I'm going to tell you, I think over the next 24 to 48 hours, you're going to see a bunch of bundled up, Antifa-like groups, you know, that are going to come out into the streets and start protesting in a big, big way.
They will tie into their left leftist representatives inside of our Congress.
So Washington, D.C. is going to be demanding, at least those on the left, are going to be demanding the president to take certain actions.
I mean, they're going to be looking for Christy Noam to come and testify.
I mean, there are going to be second, third, fourth, fifth order effects from this incident that resulted in the death of a person, don't know who she is yet, trying to run a looks, appears to be running, trying to run over a law, a federal law enforcement officer that I guess is working for ICE on the streets when they were trying to do their job.
So what you're showing on your screen there with people starting to come together, I think that they're starting to rally in the streets here.
I think we're going to see this grow.
And this could get really, really ugly very quickly.
Maybe the weather will tamper things down a bit because it looks like it's so damn cold up there, but not good.
And anything that results in the death of an individual at the hands of our federal law enforcement officers who are directed to do their jobs in the safest and secure way that they can possibly do it.
And it looks like this woman was set to run this guy over.
And I mean, you showed it earlier, just really, in fact, it looked like he might have even been hit.
So it's not going to go, it's not going to be good here for the next year.
And by the way, general 48 hours.
I should mention this is where this took place is just about 10 minutes south of where George Floyd happened five years ago now.
So just about 10 minutes south.
I just pulled up on the map here.
That's 33rd and Portland and George Floyd Square up there.
It's right just up Portland Avenue.
It's practically on the same street.
Yeah, this is really a dangerous time.
This is a really dangerous time, Jack.
And I think that we need to take this very seriously because the summer of 2020, because that fact that you mentioned George Floyd and the relationship were physically where this thing occurred, I mean, the George Floyd incident really was one of the impetuses to start the riots of the summer of 2020, which resulted in a, I think it was 33 or 34 law enforcement officers killed, billions and billions of dollars in damages to property.
I mean, these are the kinds of things that happen.
And the left in this country is trying to work very hard overtime to destroy this country, to stop the kinds of things that we want are trying to have.
They've been waiting for an opportunity like this.
The left use this as an opportunity, don't they, General?
They absolutely do.
And, you know, you have to, sadly, again, this woman's, I guess, has died.
And so we'll sadly have to look, you know, who is she?
What does she represent?
Why was she there?
You know, why did she park her car in the middle of the road?
Why did she look like she was blocking federal law enforcement officers from doing their job?
Why did it look like she looks like she took off knowing that that guy was right in front of her car?
So, yeah, it's a great picture right there.
You know, I mean, a detailed, thorough investigation will determine the outcome of this thing.
In fact, Tim Poole just posted some video as well where we can see that she actually sideswipes the officer as she's driving.
So she does make contact, does look like she hits him in the leg.
That's another video that's coming out now.
So as more and more of this video comes out, I think we're all starting to be able to see what actually happened here.
And by the way, General Flynn, I'd also like to point out that what we saw her conduct prior to this, the reason that they're engaging her, that they're going up to her, isn't just that she was there observing in some peaceful way.
She's blocking traffic.
She's actually blocking the road.
Look at how she's parked perpendicular to the roadway there.
And we can all see this.
So she's blocking the ICE agents from being able to leave.
And that's why they're telling her, hey, you need to get out of here.
You need to get your card of here because she was actively interfering in those operations.
And at that point, you go from being a, you know, a legal First Amendment activity to being an active participant, don't you?
Yeah, you're, I mean, you are in, you are obstructing justice.
You are obstructing a federal law enforcement operation.
And that's an offense.
That's a crime.
So you can't do that.
But again, we're not dealing with normal times.
We're not dealing with normal people here in our country.
We've already, we've been through this.
We've seen this.
We've been there, done this.
And that's why when you mentioned George Floyd and the proximity of where the incident that occurred where he died, I mean, this is a Tinderbox, despite if it's freezing cold up there.
This is a Tinderbox situation, and the left will take advantage of it.
The whole reason why these guys are up there, why are all these federal officials up there, federal law enforcement officials up there?
Because we've got a massive, massive problem that we're learning from the Somali community, apparently, where there's just so much severe corruption.
And so, I mean, there's good reasons why we are there with federal law enforcement officers.
There's been plenty of information put out to the population up there.
The mayor of that city has, to me, his words have incited people that at least support him to stand against and obstruct law, federal law enforcement operations that the president of the United States has the full authority to direct through his Secretary of Homeland Security.
I mean, this is a big, big deal.
And the fact that we now have a situation that resulted in the death of an American at the hands of federal law enforcement officers, it falls into another category.
So there's going to be an examination of the rules of engagement and all that kind of stuff.
And I know, Jack, that we wanted to talk about other things today, but this, to me, I want people to be prepared.
But General Flynn, General Flynn, the question I have as well, rules of engagement, do any of the rules of engagement supersede the right to self-defense?
Never.
And they never do.
And never.
I don't care whether you're on an overseas battlefield, you're on the streets of America.
If you feel like your life is threatened, if you feel your life is threatened to the point where you could be seriously injured or killed, God forbid, then you have the right to self-defend.
And I have to believe that that's what's in the rules of engagement for the Department of Homeland Security and for our ICE law enforcement professionals.
So, yeah, you always have that right to be able to self-defend.
And I mean, the guy, you know, that car took off, and it looks like from the videos that you showed, it looks like the guy was sideswiped.
So, you know, I mean, you know, now, you know, is it the right response?
That'll be under investigation.
But the response by the community and the response by the left, and we've already seen this, Jack, we've seen this in Baltimore.
We've seen this in St. Louis.
We've seen this in Minneapolis.
We've seen this in places up in Michigan.
We've seen this in Seattle.
We've seen this in Portland.
We have seen this show over and over and over.
And until we actually have, until we stand up against this, these bodies of people that are being, as we just learned, I think in the last 24 hours, the amount of money that is coming in from overseas, from the Soros Foundation, the Arabella Group, I mean, all these different organizations that are overseas that are funding the left's creation of turmoil on the streets of America, the President of the United States is going to have to take some action against those groups that fund these things.
Because I have a funny feeling that we're going to see in the next 24 to 48 hours a much greater response to this incident, sadly.
And we'll see what happens, see how the Department of Homeland Security responds, president responds.
Certainly the governor of the state, the mayor of the city.
I mean, these are all questions that are not, but you know, Jack, you know this.
Well, in general, this mayor, this mayor also, a couple of weeks ago, just before Christmas, he said, he said, ICE has brought chaos to our community.
And I fear that next, what will happen is that an ICE agent could be killed.
That's threatening.
That to me sounds like he's inciting people to go and target ICE agents who they're not coming into a community.
This is United States territory.
They're talking about it like Minneapolis is like its own sovereign nation outside of the United States and the jurisdiction of our laws.
Yeah, I'm no longer surprised, and I haven't been surprised for a long time at the actions of the left.
The left in this country, when we say the left, these are communist, Marxist, Islamists, period.
And they have formed an alliance to undermine and destroy the very fabric of the United States of America.
If our political elected representatives in this country in Congress don't get that, what I just said, then we're in big trouble.
And I mean it.
We're in big trouble.
Incidents like these, Jack, what they do is they create opportunities for those that are trying to destroy this country and to tear apart and rip apart the fabric of our constitutional rights and our constitutional system of government.
That's what they're going to do.
And, you know, to lose.
I'm serious, Jack.
And I think that we in the United States, in Washington, D.C., you know, this is not, this is not left versus right or Democrats, Republicans.
These are idealized.

These are influencers.

We're on with General Flynn.
Now, General Flynn, the thing I originally wanted to talk to you about today was, of course, the seizure of this tanker, empty tanker up in the northern Atlantic.
Now, this is an area very familiar with me as a prior naval officer known as the GI-UK gap.
And we've got a map that I want to show everyone to be able to see exactly where this was.
So map break on that.
This is an area directly between Greenland, Iceland, and the UK.
So that's why it's called GI UK Gap.
And all and the key strategic nation, key strategic choke point on the planet for people to understand that all of the transport, the oil, all of the shipments between those northern fleets, between those that northern oil between the for all of the Baltic countries, for Germany as well, that's going through here for Russia.
This is a key strategic spot.
People go back and they watch the hunt for Red October.
That's where that took place.
So this is a key area and explains why President Trump is so strategically focused on what?
Greenland is right there.
So Greenland as being a key strategic potential resource for the United States.
General Flynn, I want to get your analysis on why it was that this area specifically is where the United States or President Trump determined to make this seizure of that tanker.
Yeah, that's a great map that you have up there too, Jack.
So if you could just keep that up there for your audience, because I think that is probably the one that shows the, I would call it vital terrain, right?
Vital terrain in the world of geopolitics.
Those straits through those operational water lanes there, the waterways are very critical.
So, you know, one thing quickly is that Russia is not Venezuela.
Russia is a nuclear-armed powerhouse, you know, that is not going to allow itself to be, you know, quote unquote pushed around like we're able to do with Venezuela, because Venezuela is a much smaller and much less capable nation.
And so this ship is apparently, it was a Russian flag vessel.
It was seized by our special forces in coordination with the United States Coast Guard.
Coast Guard, I guess, has taken responsibility for it.
Russia, I understand elements of the Duma, which is essentially their Congress, have already come out with very strong statements in support of military responses by Russia.
I understand that there may have been a missile test.
If it hasn't occurred, they're talking about conducting some type of missile tests in this area.
For the people that don't pay real close attention to this, those vital waterways, that is the only real strategic lanes or set of lanes for the Russian Navy, particularly with their nuclear submarine fleet, to be able to exit the northern Baltic Sea, right?
So they have to come through the fjords up there through the through the northern tier and into into the Atlantic, because the only other way to get for them to get anywhere is really over in the Far East military district over in a place called Vladivostok or certainly out through the the the the Black Sea.
So this is right.
And the United States and NATO have put so many sense.
This goes back to the Cold War.
It even goes back to World War II because the German Navy, the Kriegsmarine, had the same exact issue.
It just comes down to geography.
So this being the strategic line of communication, sea line of communication, strategic naval choke point that that's where the sonar arrays, the SOSIS arrays are implanted.
So you got about 200 miles between Iceland and Greenland, and then about 500 miles between Iceland and the United Kingdom.
So northern Scotland there, basically.
That's why this area strategically, if you throw the map back up, guys, is so strategic for any of these military operations, strategic warfare.
This is why President Trump has been so focused on Greenland.
And people think that it's, oh, what's the point of Greenland?
No, no, no.
Just go and look at the map and you'll see.
Not only that, but also the Arctic, Jack.
The Arctic has some of the largest amounts of known strategic reserves for energy in the world on the planet.
I mean, beyond what's in the Middle East, beyond what's in Venezuela, the Arctic.
So the Arctic Circle is very critical.
Greenland as a piece of geography, topography is a very critical component.
When you look between Greenland, the United Kingdom and Europe, and of course, the, you know, Norway and the, and the, uh, the, the, the new, the Scandinavian countries.
Incredibly, incredibly important to be able to control those lanes.
And so it's not just what, you know, taking this tanker that had some oil that came out of Venezuela.
It's to me, to me, this.
Well, it's a message, isn't it?
It's a huge message.
It's a huge message.
The challenge here, though, and I'll finish with this, Jack.
The challenge is we are dealing with a great power in Russia, and they will have a response.
This will likely impact negotiations for peace in Ukraine.
This will for a potential long-term either ceasefire or peace agreement.
There will be repercussions for these kinds of actions.
And, you know, and from my perspective as an American, I mean, I want our country to be dominant globally because I do believe that our way of life is where everybody in the world's trying to get to, right?
I mean, let's not kid ourselves.
It's why the people in Tehran are screaming and fighting for their own freedom.
It's why people broke out in Nirvana in Venezuela right after Maduro was pulled out because people want freedom.
And that's what President Trump is trying to say to the globalist community.
Look, we are going to fight for our own nationalism, our own sovereignty, our own peace, and we're going to do it on behalf of the citizens of the United States.
And when everybody goes, well, national security, we have to take care of what's here at home.
Yeah, we do.
There are some things that have to be taken care of here at home.
And one of them is accountability.
But I would tell you that national security and for the United States of America includes places like the Arctic, Greenland, those straits that we just talked about.
Elements, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and the Straits in the Caribbean.
I mean, there's so many elements for us to maintain who we are as a nation for the protection and safety, security, preservation of our Constitution and our way of life.
All of those things matter.
And that's why, you know, that's why we're seeing the kinds of decisions that President Trump is making.
He's making them, you know, and I and I hope that the team around him is in full support of him to make these kinds of decisions.
It appears to be.
I heard Marco Rubio today and Pete Hag set together in a quick press conference, and I thought that their words were right, strong, and matter of fact.
So that's the direction that we're heading.
I would say to go back to the first hit that we had about this incident up in Minneapolis, this is a Tinderbox and the left is going to take, they're going to take advantage of it.

Well, you know, we look at all this, Venezuela, we look at what's going on with the tanker, Russian flag tanker up there in the GI UK gap, the United States asserting sovereignty over, asserting sovereignty over the law of the sea, asserting sovereignty potentially over Greenland as well.
A lot of ups and downs in geopolitics.
How is that affecting the precious metals market?
Well, number one, it's creating a little bit of uncertainty, and that uncertainty provides an opportunity.
Look, what we're trying to do is protect our turf, and rightfully so, because China for the past five years, they've been aggressively investing in Latin America in the name of controlling resources.
This is not about just oil.
China is the third largest producer of silver, but yet they import the most.
And guess where the first two are?
They're right in our backyard.
You got Mexico, you got Peru, you got Colombia.
So what we're trying to do, we're simply trying to squeeze China out of the Latin Americas because this is our turf and this is what we need to protect.
Now, as an American, this is something that we need.
But what will happen is we need to watch what China is going to do and react.
Are they going to continue their de-dollarization path?
Are they going to potentially look what they did?
They minimized the export of silver.
We're seeing war in the background against precious metals.
And it boils down to, Jack, very simply, control, because whoever has it, they're going to be able to utilize it the most.
And that's, it's, it's really part of that critical metal negotiation that President Trump started some middle part of last year.
And so what we're seeing that, and I just got to say, because I was taking a look at this yesterday, I was chatting about it with my wife actually, that we have seen gold and silver hitting all-time highs.
So they just reached a new peak yesterday.
We were chatting about this.
And we're also seeing that also because of the instability, a lot of the things that are going on.
But also, there's been this distinction between real, you know, and real versus paper.
So if you can explain to the audience, what are people talking about when they're talking about potential shortages in the metals market?
Yeah, so let's cover silver real quick.
We use about 1.2 billion ounces a year.
We mine roughly about 850 million, and about 150 million comes from recycling and repurposing.
So basically, Jack, in the last five consecutive years, we've had a gap between the supply and the demand.
That's about 15 to 20%.
So what's been happening is we have three types of strategic buyers that are after the physical.
Let's identify them.
Number one, you have governments.
A few months ago, the U.S. government placed silver part of the critical metal.
What that basically means is when we utilize silver for the military complex, silver is consumed.
It's no longer able to recycle and repurpose.
And when government buys for natural, obviously security purposes, they're not going to disclose how much.
So all of a sudden, we have this invisible hand buying so much silver.
And by the way, this is credit to President Trump.
When he pressured NATO to do their part and start spending at least 5% of their GDP to the defense, all of a sudden you have major, major countries needing to replenish their weaponry.
Number two, you have the industrial usage.
And I want to quickly break that down into three categories.
You have electric vehicles, solar panels.
And right now we have the artificial intelligence.
See, right now, silver is indispensable.
It is required.
You can't take paper in solar panels.
You can't take the paper in electric vehicles or in these data centers.
We've done trillions of dollars in investment into building the ecosystem.
So that way, again, we win the war against China when it comes to the AI movement.
And third, but not least, you have the investors.
It's not about just the central banks.
All of a sudden, a lot of investors are realizing they're saying, hold on a second.
If I have paper, I don't have control.
I have leverage.
I am basically stuck into the system.
Versus if I have some physical, I'm in control.
So if you want some sovereignty and real financial independence, then you have to choose the physical over the paper.
The paper has some benefits.
If you're thinking short term, you may very well have some exposure to it.
But do not make the mistake.
When you have the paper, you only have price exposure.
You have zero ownership.
That's why strategically a lot of investors are.
Go ahead.
Well, and this makes so much sense.

She's, we're working on this because when we see what's happening down there in this in Minneapolis, where this story has completely, once again, this city has just taken over the news cycle completely.
Ice on the ground, everyone on the ground, they are there.
Guys, do we have Liz?
Hi, Jared.
Liz, Liz, thank you so much for joining us.
I know you and I were speaking earlier, even before any of this happened.
What's the latest, what do we know from this ICE-involved shooting there in Minneapolis?
Yeah, Jack, so this all unfolded this morning.
It was about 9.30 here in Minneapolis.
We know that ICE agents have been in town.
They actually have been for weeks now, but we had 2,000, as it was announced by the federal government, 2,000 HSI agents working with ICE sort of come in, move in, as this focus has been on fraud.
And we know that many arrests have been taking place.
So you have protest groups in Minneapolis that, or even outside of the city as well, that have been organized, working in teams of people.
They actually go out to harass these agents.
It appears that that was the case this morning with these groups of cars that are seen on the street.
It's around the 34th and Portland area.
For your viewers, interesting to note, this is actually just a few blocks from George Floyd Square, which is what it's known now as, that 38th and Chicago in Minneapolis.
So you have this maroon SUV that seems to be shouting some things at the officers from the videos that I've seen from the scene.
You have an ICE agent appear to pull on the door handle, ask for this driver to get out of the vehicle.
That person does not comply with that.
Instead, seems to basically drive, step on the gas, according to what you can see in the video.
And there is an agent standing right in front of the car at that time.
This agent then fires his weapon, what appears to be right through the windshield, at this female driver.
And the car then crashes into a telephone pole, it looks like not too far away.
This woman has been pronounced dead.
We have some very tense moments that still are unfolding hours later now in Minneapolis with the people who've gathered at the scene, protest groups that seem to have been there before.
And you have some rhetoric coming from our political class in Minneapolis that I know you know well, Jack, and also from these so-called leaders in Minnesota, but helping to fan the flames, telling ICE to get out of town.
I won't even use their language on your program, but really quite vile the messaging that what we're getting now from the leaders in Minneapolis.
Also, Governor Walls tweeting that DHS is a propaganda machine and not believing their series of events, which basically match up completely with what we see on the video from what unfolded there this morning, Jack.
And so, Liz, you mentioned these groups, and I wanted to kind of drill down on that.
Do you have any more information on, because look, we see in this video that these protesters, they're there before this happens.
They're there before the people thinking, oh, they're showing up in response to the shooting.
They're not showing up in response to the shooting.
They're already there.
They were already massed.
And now, of course, more are coming, but they were already there.
And of course, we see in the video that this driver is blocking and impeding ICE operations by using her car perpendicularly parked across the road so that they can't get the vehicles out to conduct whatever operations they're working on while they're there.
The protest groups were already there.
Tell me more.
What do we know about these groups?
You know, there is a highly active activist community in Minneapolis.
And that was even the case before the rioting we saw in 2020.
But with this particular cause, there's been many, many protests, many community groups.
We've been reporting on this over at Alpha News as well.
In fact, the Star Tribune, this is Minnesota's largest newspaper, actually has a tracking system they were putting online saying, tell us where you're seeing ICE officers and we'll sort of blast out their locations.
Again, it's hard to believe, but this is Minnesota and this is what people are dealing with here.
Really, the fanning the flames.
You had the St. Paul police chief encouraging people after some standoffs took place with some ICE operations not long ago.
He was encouraging people, we want you to come out to scenes.
We want you to make sure that these men and women are doing their jobs and go out and record and helping to encourage these groups, which have just created chaos.
And keep in mind, I believe it's only seven counties out of Minnesota's 87 that cooperate with ICE at all, meaning that these situations are so much more chaotic and tense than they need to be.
If jails were cooperating with ICE, they would simply call them.
They would go to these facilities and pick these people up.
Instead, this is now spilled out into the streets where people are going into homes, going into businesses, and creating this chaos where that certainly does not need to be the case.
And under Attorney General Keith Ellison, he has basically said that local municipalities cannot cooperate with ICE.
And we've seen some sheriff's departments sort of fracture off from what he has told them.
But in many ways, it seems that this is the environment that has been created here.
And it's really tragic to see how clearly this does not have to be the case.
It doesn't happen like this in other states.
Do we have any indication what operation or what enforcement ICE was actually conducting while they were there?
Yeah, this has been ongoing for weeks.
I actually did a ride along with ICE not too long ago.
They, in fact, at that point, arrested a state employee who was working for the state of Minnesota that they went to pick up someone who had been convicted of sexual assault, who is now in the process of being deported.
But they basically said at the beginning of the year, they did expect to ramp this up.
They were kind of short on manpower and with all eyes, it seems, on Minnesota at the moment.
The federal government answered that call and said they were bringing more resources into the state.
And there are reports that there are many of these ongoing in suburbs, in Minneapolis, in the city of St. Paul as well.
So they seem to be working statewide in large groups together.
And what kind of effect does this have on law enforcement?
I obviously know that you've worked a lot with the local law enforcement there in the Derek Chauvin case and many others, but just what sort of effect does the support for these groups that we're clearly seeing from the city's leadership, what kind of effect does that have on law enforcement in general in the area?
Yeah, you know, I can say from the cops that I talked to, they're just so frustrated.
They want to uphold the law.
They want to do their jobs.
Instead, these lines of division have been created by their police chiefs, by the mayor of Minneapolis and other political leaders as well saying, you know, we're not going to cooperate with ICE.
So you're even seeing some of this in video that they're called out to some of these chaotic scenes, scenes that, you know, one would say do not have to be unfolding at all, but they will be sitting back in some cases.
They're afraid something happens to them if, you know, they're captured on camera helping a fellow officer, if it is from the federal government.
But I can tell you that they want to enforce the law and it's frustrating for them.
Those are the people that I've been talking to in many departments, not just in Minneapolis.
And it's just unbelievable, as you mentioned, just a few blocks away from what is now called George Floyd Square.
Guys, I believe we have that audio of the mayor of Minneapolis.
We've had to clean it up a little bit, but I want to play that because it'll give everyone a sense of what we're talking about.
And I have a message for ICE.
To ICE, get the f ⁇ out of Minneapolis.
We do not want you here.
Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite.
People are being hurt.
Families are being ripped apart.
Long-term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized.
And now somebody is dead.
That's on you.
And it's also on you to leave.
Liz, you've been there.
You've been covering the mayor for so long.
Can I just get you to respond to that very quickly?
You know, nothing ceases to amaze me with that mayor at this point, but it's the exact same rhetoric we saw five years ago.
People fell for it then.
I'm hoping a lot more eyes have been opened now.
Rather than just telling the truth, getting out in front of this, stating what the video clearly shows, instead, you have more lies being spewed by the mayor of Minneapolis.
And again, I think that this situation just speaks for itself.
And thankfully that the video, I think, is circulating.
And I know your next guest has done some great work here in Minneapolis, and I'm sure has much more to say on that.

And we'll hold you there as well because so we've got Nick's order on.
Nick, are you on the ground?
You're near the scene right now.
Yeah, Jack, I am now, I plan on doing the vive shot from the scene itself, but I am now in my car.
It has gotten to the point where it's just too unsafe out there.
The situation is devolving, to be honest.
And that's exactly what Mayor Fry wants.
And I'm glad to be on here with Liz, who does fantastic work.
I absolutely love the stuff that she does out here.
And she's like the only real journalist that's out here at this point covering this stuff.
She is.
Nick, can you tell us that?
Can you tell us what you've heard in terms of the situation?
You were one of the first people to put a video up that I saw.
I'm guessing you got that from a witness there.
But people are saying that, you know, here from Mayor Fry that was the ICE agent's fault that ICE caused this.
Is that what you're hearing on the ground?
Did ICE cause this or was this caused by the driver?
I would say it's probably caused by the driver that tried to run over the ICE agent.
I think you, I don't know if you've been showing the front view that we've got an angle from down the street where you can actually see very clearly that that woman run into the agent who was standing in front of the vehicle.
You can see how he gets hit backward because he got hit by the car.
And that's pretty much if Mayor Fry saw that video before he went out there.
And regardless of whether or not he did, he still would have said the same thing, but he would have been totally lying by saying that the DHS story was false.
Because vehicle, as you know, Jack, is a deadly weapon.
She used that deadly weapon against a DHS agent and deadly force was used back on her in self-defense.
What do you expect them to do?
Are they just supposed to allow people to mow them down in cars now?
Is that the Democrat argument?
I want to go back, Liz Collin.
Now, you were there, of course, five years ago.
Another viral video from just blocks away came out involving law enforcement.
That video, of course, involving George Floyd.
Are you concerned that, no, obviously weather may not be permitting right now because we can all see how cold it is there, but are you concerned that this viral video could be taken and create another Tinderbox for the city?
You know, I will say that it does seem that we live in a different world now.
People are asking the right questions and people are seeing this video for themselves.
Nick has done great work over these last few days.
I want to give you a shout out, Nick, to be on the ground telling the truth from here in Minnesota because there is so much to say about what is going on.
But I was just going to say, just getting a text from a cop that is there too, you can clearly see he says it's important to point out, you know, to stop the flames and lies from burning down Minneapolis yet again.
But this agent firing as he's being struck by the car, he's actually pushing the car in the video and one clip that he has sent me pushing the car as contact is made.
So had he not moved and fired, he would have been a drug under the car as it appears as he's been on scene and watching the video as well.
So again, people can see this for themselves.
And in this moment, you know, the mayor did have a chance to tell the truth.
And we're seeing the opposite.
We actually saw some messaging on fraud from Governor Tim Walz yesterday, failing to tell the truth yet again.
And in many ways, you got to kind of wonder with all of these ongoing federal investigations, if these guys are just lashing out in their final moments.
I mean, I think that's the hope for many taxpayers in Minnesota.
But that is a concern.
We do have a very active activist base here, many groups, and that's something we're monitoring over at Alpha News as well.
Perhaps you're right.
The January weather could be on our side here, Jack.
Perhaps.
Nick, you said you were just there.
You said the situation is evolving.
Are you seeing activists now?
They're flocking to the scene.
What happened that made you want to get into your car before we did the video just now, before you signed in for the interview?
So I was trying to be discreet about where I was.
That's why I wasn't posting my, I was very quietly moving around because I'm, to be honest, right now I'm by myself.
And that's a real problem, especially after the news of the past few days.
And somebody recognized who I was and screamed my name and I started being physically harassed.
And so I got the hell out of there and drove pretty decent far away, as far as way as I could because I was worried about being followed.
But man, I will say about Mayor Fry up there and Governor Waltz, what they want, they want nothing more right now than to have rioting in the streets and have Minneapolis burning down again, because then we'll keep talking about this instead of all of the fraud that's been uncovered over the past several weeks.
They are that desperate right now.
And I truly believe that to be the case.
They want mass rioting in the streets.
They're going to keep this issue blowing up as much as it possibly can.
That way we stop talking about all their fraud and stop investigating them.
