And I got to say, guys, I was just watching that Amfest video right there, a little promo right before we started.
And it hit me.
I don't know how to put it, it just hit me that this Amfest, which is starting today, and I'm going to be flying out to Phoenix right after the show here.
Get there, spend the weekend with the Turning Point family, that this really is the first one without Charlie.
And look, you know, I'd be lying if I tell you if it wasn't rough.
This is usually a timeframe where Charlie is texting us and calling us and saying, hey, make sure we blow it out.
Make sure you promote it.
Make sure you let people know about Amfest.
Let everybody know what's going on.
And make sure if people can come, make sure, you know, if there's a couple extra seats, let's get them in.
Let's pack it.
Let's make it big.
And I'm just so used to him.
You know, it's usually, usually that starts about two weeks out before an event.
And it just kind of, you know, it just kind of keeps going.
And then, of course, I'll check in with the events team and I'll say, I'll say, gosh, Charlie really wants us to push this thing.
Are we low on tickets or something?
They say, no, we're fine.
We're totally fine.
We've more than last year.
We're almost completely sold up.
Why is it?
It's just Charlie being Charlie.
It's just Charlie being Charlie.
And of course, right?
Because that's how Charlie, that's how Charlie was.
That's how Charlie is.
Work, you know, work harder, be better, do more, go hard.
And look, you know, here's the thing, right?
Here's the thing, folks.
We know this time will be the first time and the first in a long series of turning point events without Charlie.
But the worst possible thing that we could do for Charlie's legacy would be to stop, would be to quit, would be to surrender to the people who did this unspeakable evil to him, to Erica, to their children, to the movement, because we're not going to quit the same way that Charlie would never quit, the same way that Charlie,
despite knowing the risks, stepped out there anyway and did what he had to do.
Because he had that fire inside him.
He had that dog in him, and he knew what he was going to do going forward, come hell or high water.
And hell did come.
Hell absolutely did come.
And you know something?
There's only one way to respond to hell.
And the way that you respond is with the power of Christ, calling on the power of Christ, calling on the power of our Lord, calling on the power of the kingdom of God to say we will not step down, that we will not stand down, that we will not go anywhere, that in fact we will continue coming and we will come even stronger than ever before.
Because you could take out Charlie, but now you got to deal with all the rest of us.
That's how you honor Charlie's legacy.
By continuing the fight, continuing the mission and saying next man up.
Next man up.
That's what this Amfest is about.
And every single person out there, whether you're watching at home or you're able to actually participate right there at the event itself, you're the next man up now.
You are.
Who picks up the microphone?
I said it the day that he was murdered.

Everyone is.

So you go look, and we're at Christmas season, right?

Dan, we had this sort of undercurrent last night that the President of the United States was going to push a massive invasion of Venezuela.
Now, that may have been a head fake.
I haven't talked to the admin about this, but I was at the White House yesterday.
And I thought that perhaps that may have been a head fake by the administration.
I said on War Room last night that I thought it was, I called it an information operation to kind of potentially see how the Venezuelans might react.
There were a number of people who thought it was real.
There are a number of people who may have been involved in this.
And I'm not going to ask you whether or not that was your take on it, but what really is going on with Venezuela?
Well, I think that you need to look at what is happening with Venezuela on two different tracks: you have a, you can't deny there is a very clear effort by the administration to apply military pressure on Maduro.
Now, there are several different narratives about what the end state is.
Some people are saying it is a regime change in Venezuela.
Others are saying that it is focused on getting the regime to change its behavior.
Whether that means ending the use of their territory as a staging ground for cartels to transport drugs into our country or to get it to engage in a more open and fair manner with American businesses.
But again, you can't look at the current force posture in the Caribbean and say that there's not a real military option on the table.
You don't move all those assets into the region if you didn't want to have that optionality.
But there is still clearly a diplomatic track going on.
The president has talked about speaking with Maduro.
There is efforts to reach some type of deal with him.
Now, what that deal looks like, I am not exactly sure.
There's been a lot of leaks, and to your point, and as you talk about a lot, it could be an information operation in of itself.
There's discussions, for example, of trying to set up a soft landing for him in another country, whether that's Turkey or Qatar, or to get him to change his behavior like we discussed before.
So, again, there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that we may not know about and we aren't seeing.
And that's actually a good thing.
That's how it should be.
Because you don't want some of these things to be public because there's actors in the region and globally and here in the United States that want this to go a certain way.
And it would be bad if they had an opportunity to derail these things.
Yeah, no, and I'll just say as a guy who was a trained information warfare officer, that's the world that I play in and, you know, or played in, I should say.
And that when I see the White House and I see, you know, people who, you know, are in and around Trump world doing certain things, I look at it and I say, you know, that smells to me like.
Now, basically, by the way, what I said on War Room last night was, is that I think the information at play, number one, obviously, the pressure on Maduro ratcheting it up.
Of course, it's so obvious because they're going to read these things as people who are close to the White House hearing things from the White House.
But at the same time, you've also got all of network news and the broadcast news out there that they want to take the, you know, take the speech.
So look, you're getting inside the heads of all of those network news editors saying, you know, maybe we should take the White House.
Maybe we should take this one.
Could be something, you know, they're saying it's just a play to do a year rundown and look ahead, but maybe, just maybe we'll get some big news.
I say we go for it.
And that's a decision that's made in thousands of markets across the country.
So of course, you've got to figure out a way to make people cover you.
And who's better at playing the media than Donald J. Trump?
The question is, I think, to your point and to many others' points, and for those who are serving and those who have served, the question is, of course, that, okay, great news that we're getting bonuses instead of deployments.
But at the same time, for active duty, especially for my 5,000 shipmates that are on that aircraft carrier parked off the coast of Venezuela, I think they really want to know whether or not missiles or jets are going to start streaming in hostilities.
Yeah, look, again, you don't deploy this force unless you are seriously considering using military force against Venezuela.
This is not the type of force posture you would have if you were just focused on killing narco-terrorists or drug smugglers or even just doing a quasi-blockade, which the president has implemented.
This is a type of force posture that you would have if you were going to do a sustained air campaign.
It's not enough to do a forced amphibious invasion or a lot of things on land, but this is somewhat similar to what we deployed in CETCOM prior to launching operations against the Houthis in the spring.
So this is still on the table.
We can't lie about that, that this is still very much an option.
But again, my hope still is, is that the diplomatic track succeeds and that ultimately we have a scenario where we're able to accomplish what we're setting out to do regarding Venezuela,
meaning that we don't have a hostile power in our hemisphere that could potentially be a host to other foreign adversaries and that Venezuela isn't a major hub for drug trafficking in the Western hemisphere.
I also too think, and again, we can get more into this, is that we also need to be mindful too of the risks of what could happen if a military operation is launched.
And specifically, a lot of people are talking about regime change, but there's one scenario I don't think a lot of folks are talking about enough, and that's the risk and possible outcome of regime collapse, meaning there isn't a firm central government in charge of Venezuela, and that poses immense risks, not just to South America, but our whole hemisphere.
Well, look, and this is always a question, and we haven't formally announced it yet, but we're actually going to be doing here on Human Events.
Over the Christmas break, we usually take some time to launch a new series of deep dives into certain things, typically in the past, sometimes current events and sometimes the intersection of history and current events.
We've done communism.
We did the China Files a few years ago, turned that into a massive book.
We did Tales of Christendom last year, Tales of the Christians, or the Chronicles of Christendom, actually, it's Chronicles of Christendom.
And this time around, we've actually pre-taped a whole series of interviews and deep dives on regime change operations.
And so the formal title is, I'm not going to reveal that just yet, but it's all about regime change.
This is going to be dropping after Amfest.
And we're going to look into these.
And we're going to look into the almost unbreakable law of unintended consequences, which comes about through Syria, through Iraq, through Afghanistan, and through Ukraine.
Of course, we talk about the Maidan Revolution.
And we're going to ask those questions as well, because when everyone talks about these potential military operations, diplomatic operations, and efforts in places like Tehran or places like Caracas and Venezuela, you always have to ask yourselves the question that the Bush administration and then later the Obama administration never seemed to want to ask.
What happens next?
What comes next?
And no, that doesn't make you, you know, I hear a lot of people will come out and say, oh, you're a coward if you say that.
Oh, you're not American.
You're an unpatriotic.
No, you're not.
You're someone who actually understands that in the real world, there's something called cause and effect.
There's something called consequences of your actions that will occur.
And yes, in the Afghanistan episode, we do go all the way back to the 1979 Communist Revolution, the U.S. response to build up the Mujahideen, and what that turned into.

I'm gonna get back on now with Dan Caldwell because, Dan, you know, look, you know, I try not to be one of those guys who's sort of like, oh, I'm a professional veteran, you listen to me because I served or whatever.
But look, I'm a veteran, you're a veteran.
We had the dignified transfer yesterday over at Dover Air Force Base of a couple of heroes coming back, National Guardsmen out of Iowa, two guys in their 20s, and then a civilian interpreter who was over there.
Why do we still have troops in Syria, Dan?
What's going on?
9-11 was 24 years ago, and Syria didn't attack us on 9-11.
Why do we have troops there?
Look, let me just say: the Trump administration earlier this year started a withdrawal and consolidation of troops in Syria, and they should finish it.
Because there are no vital national interests at stake in Syria that require us risking the lives of Iowa National Guardsmen.
And we still have troops in Syria because, actually, going back to 2018 and 2019, when President Trump tried to pull him out, he was undermined by the permanent national security bureaucracy, including some of his own appointees at the time.
Now, to be clear, that's not happening in this term, but there's been this inertia with Syria for over a decade now.
And every original objective that we had for introducing troops into Syria in the first place, all the way back in 2015, 2016, has been accomplished.
The ISIS Caliphate was destroyed under President Trump.
Iranian influence in Syria is no longer an issue because the current government of Syria hates Iran.
So Iran can't use Syria as a rear area for Hezbollah and Lebanon, and they can't use the ground lines of communication across Syria to supply them.
So it's this zombie mission that keeps going on and on.
And there are people that keep finding reasons to keep them there.
And again, there is absolutely nothing that requires troops to be in Syria.
Everything that President Trump has laid out as an objective with Syria, defeating the remnants of ISIS, and they are truly the bottom of the barrel remnants of ISIS right now, to ensuring that Syria doesn't lapse into another civil war can be accomplished without hundreds or thousands of troops in Syria.
So my strong belief is that the administration needs to finish the withdrawal they started, the withdrawal that President Trump wanted in 2018 and 2019 and go to zero in Syria.
Well, and this is, look, I like the fact that you call it the zombie mission because, look, when we talk about these regime change operations, that's exactly what we're dealing with.
We're dealing with the after effects, the unintended consequences of Operations Inverse Sycamore and the regime change operation that was pushed by the Obama administration, that was pushed by Hillary Clinton, that was pushed by elements of the governments of Saudi Arabia, of Jordan, of Israel, so many others in the region to get rid of a Turkey, to get rid of Assad.
So, okay, Assad is gone now.
And then ISIS was, you know, popped up in the middle.
So then we had to go fight ISIS because it turns out the moderate jihadis weren't that moderate at all.
And so the weapons started flowing there.
And it's the largest, largest covert operation in CIA history in terms of price tag.
And yet you won't see any Hollywood movies about that.
You won't see Charlie Wilson's war about that.
You won't see, you know, Rambo going over there and helping the Syrians overthrow Assad.
No, won't see any of this because when you don't make Netflix documentaries or Netflix miniseries about something, apparently that just doesn't happen.
Sorry, Rant.
But by the way, and by the way, no, I'm not ending the rant because I have to add something because I'm getting some flack for this online.
You're not going to see any airport novels by Jack Carr about this.
Oh, Jack Carr, Jack Carr.
Oh, we got to follow Jack Carr.
We got to overthrow Assad.
We got to do whatever the neocons want.
We got to do whatever the idiots in the neoliberal space who go on Joe Rogan all the time talk about.
We got to do that.
We got to follow them.
You never actually look at the facts on the ground.
Okay, I lied about the rant being done.
Now it's done.
No, these are all things that get whitewashed or ignored in discussion around Syria.
Here's another thing that I think is relevant because I know you've been talking a lot about left-wing violence here in the United States and the risk of some of these left-wing groups committing terrorist acts.
So a lot of folks like to talk about the Kurds in Syria and one reason we should stay in Syria is to protect the Kurds in Syria.
Well, here's a little unpleasant fact about the Kurdish groups in Syria is that they're Marxists and you had dozens, if not hundreds of members of Antifa go to Syria to get training from these Kurdish communists who, by the way, were supported and trained themselves by American special forces.
Yeah, there's a guy by the name of, we talked about this on the program the other day.
There's a guy by the name with Andy No, there's a guy by the name of Daniel Allen Baker, who is a former U.S. former U.S. military member.
He's the U.S. Army.
He basically left, went over for training with YPG and the Kurds, then got battlefield training, came back to the United States and participated in the armed blockade of Chaz.
He also, it's highly suspected, participated in the shooting of those black kids that were joyriding and now is in prison in Florida, yet has never once been charged with that.
Dan, I could go off on this.
And you, by the way, Peter Zahan was who I was thinking of.
I couldn't think of that idiot's name off the top of my head there, who Jack Carr is just absolutely in love with.
I want to know what is Jack Carr getting Peter Zahan for Christmas?
Are they going to kiss under the mistletoe?

We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys should be getting policies.

And folks, so there's an, as happens typically in my life, a funny thing happened on the internet this week where, so I find myself getting caught up with another side of the internet, which, you know, what can I say?
I'll explain what happened.
That, so Mick Foley, who is known as, he was a great wrestler in the 90s, known as Mankind.
And he had a couple other, you know, different iterations, Cactus Jack, dude, love.
And he came out with this post, said that he's parting ways with the WWE, and he refuses to work with the WWE because he is, you know, he views them as too close to Trump and Lyndon McMahon is in the admin and that, you know, doesn't like what Trump's doing, et cetera, et cetera.
But what's crazy, though, of course, is that obviously Trump has been close with WWE for years.
Battle of the Billionaires was over a decade ago when he was in the ring.
He's in the WWE Hall of Fame.
He was booking events and promoting events with Hogan and the giant decades ago.
So, I mean, it's suddenly all, you know, all of a sudden, mankind is out there.
So I posted this tweet up.
I say, mankind, Mick Foley, who's a guy who's known for being hit in the head and taking more bumps to the head than any single other person in wrestling, who literally has, you know, the most head damage is the guy who's also the most liberal.
Draw your own conclusion.
So I posted that up, you know, slapping back on him, clapping back.
And then Jim Cornette, Corney out of the wrestling world, comes in and he's like, Jack Pesobi, he's a bad guy.
He's Nazi.
He's a Nazi.
We don't like that guy because Trump's a Nazi and Bannon's a Nazi.
Pozo's a Nazi.
They're all Nazis.
It's like this, this, he's a, he's, you know, he uses the dehumanization language.
He calls us a maggot.
So you see this a lot from the left where they will refer to Trump supporters as subhuman maggots.
And I responded that in kind to say, well, actually, Jim, aren't you literally known as a guy who was in, you know, perhaps most euphemistically way I could put it, who had been in an open marriage in the 1980s and was known for using a certain chair in a certain room when people would gather in that room for certain, shall we say, extramarital activities.
So it's, you know, kind of interesting hearing this guy want to moralize, a guy who's used, you know, and by the way, like, you know, I'm not one to sort of like tone police, but here's a guy who walks up and tells, sells us he's all the most righteous person in the world.
And you got videos of him saying all sorts of stuff over the years.
So I call him out.
I say, Courtney, you want to talk?
Come talk.
Come face me on in Phoenix, Arizona.
Come to the Amfest stage.
I'll book your flight because we know you're broke as a joke.
You've been broke since the 90s.
You can't make any money.
Mick Foley's going to be losing his contract anyway, his Legends contract, the WWE.
And I looked at Jim Courney's podcast.
He gets like 5,000, 6,000, maybe 10,000 views on a good day.
All right.
Maybe 10,000 views on a good day.
So, all right, I see what's going on here, trying to clout chase off Pozo a little bit, trying to clout chase off my name, put my name here out.
That's fine.
That's fine.

Of course, Jim Cornette is the other kind of guy.
I mean, of course, we know about his notorious, you know, N-word video.
And look, I'm not trying to cancel him over, you know, saying the N-word back in the day where it was flying around.
However, look, just look back a few years ago.
Jim Cornette was actually fired by the NWA for saying, quote, this guy is so tough, he'd strap a bucket of fried chicken on his back and ride a motor scooter through Ethiopia.
Now, does this sound like the kind of guy who should be judging you on your moral compass?
Does this sound like the guy who should be saying you are a fascist?
Absolutely not.
But again, guys like Jim Cornette, they have to bend the knee in order to avoid cancel culture because of their own skeleton in their closet.
It's sad to see, Jim.
Jim, you should just be your true self and you should accept Pessot's challenge.

I mean, this is ridiculous.
You're talking about Jim Cornette, who's a washed-up Carney from the territory days.

You know, you look at guys like Jimmy Cornet, Jimmy, Jimmy Hart, excuse me, you know, guys like Paul Bearer, Paul Heyman, you know, those are the Goliaths of ring managers.
Imagine you, you know, getting escorted to the ring by Tanya, you know, Pessot, Jimmy Cornette, who's going to be in his corner?
It's just sad to see him try to come out and just defend Mick Foley.
And again, what Mick Foley is doing is also sad.
You got young guys in the WWE, you know, trying to make a living off of what Mick Foley has retired off of.
And now Mick Foley is trying to trash it and destroy it because it's advantageous for him when his contract runs out.
So garbage all around.
And I'm glad you really got into it and kind of slammed him to the mat there.

We got the top billing in the entire country.
Jim Cornette hasn't seen an arena like this in decades.

There's nothing he hasn't seen in decades either, by the way.
No, I mean, Jim Cornett hasn't been drawing a crowd like this since he was kind of reliant on Yokozuma for his clout.
MFest, look, there's 30,000 attendees this year, which is quite literally, you know, 10,000, 12,000 more than we had last year.
You know, you got 400 media organizations.
It's just going to be an all-out Unity Fest, hopefully.
Not just that, also a strategy fest.
You know, you have guys who are headliners, Scott Pressler, Cliff Maloney, who are going to be giving breakout sessions along with other organizations, Moms for Liberty, College Republicans of America.
So look, this is a strategy session, days long.
It's not just a conference, but also kind of a little bit of a concert.
You know, you have your musical artists, of course, country artists performing.
You have a huge faith component, some faith artists that are performing.
You even have a Eucharistic celebration that I heard that you're leading alongside.
I'll be there.
I'll brother Priest leading it, but I'll be there.
I'll be there.
The real deal will be there.
Don't worry.

But RC Maxwell, who's on with us from Red State, but also a Turning Point Action member, is there on the ground.
He's literally standing outside the doors of the Phoenix Convention Center where Amfest is set to begin.
RC, I believe that early registration is already open.
Is that correct?
That is correct.
People can come now.
They had early registration yesterday.
You know, don't be daunted.
It's not going to be, it will be a long line, but it does move quickly because, of course, Turning Point staff knows how to get it done.
Well, and I heard that.
I know Brick Suit was there yesterday.
He said he was checked in in less than 10 minutes.
He said it was really great.
What are we expecting in terms of numbers for the event?
Are you able to share any of that yet?
Yes, again, I can share at this point in time that there are 30,000 attendees that will be here.
I mean, a thousand of them are.
That's what you said.
Okay, 30,000.
Yes, 1,000 of them alone are either they're politicians or they work for politicians.
Just to give you a little bit of an insight to the level of the high level of strategic insight from conservatives that will be here.
Again, there's Christian organizations, there's Fortune 500 companies, 400 media companies that are also here.
There's no other event that quite blends the types of industry the way that AmericaFest does, while also really giving everyone a voice to kind of be a leader.
And of course, our leader, Charlie, is not here, which is something that is certainly felt.
Turning point does a good job with displays.
There are quite a bit of good displays about Charlie.
But, you know, as a member of staff, Charlie would always give us a motivational speech that would quite literally make us willing to run through a wall to make this conference go off without a hitch.
And Erica delivered that speech yesterday.
And I'll say she did a great job.
But of course, we played a Charlie video that did make me tear up.
It's hard to deny and not to acknowledge the void that's left by Charlie, who was quite literally the best among us.
But we're all doing the best we can.
And certainly, Turning Point, we feel the support.
We feel the support from the donor organizations, from sponsors, and from the size of this event.
And our goal, of course, is to continue the legacy of Charlie and make sure that it's something that people will talk about and it's something that people will want to come back to next year.
I also have another interesting stat, Jack, that I can share with you.
Over 80% of people, this is their first time at a Turning Point event.
You know, that's we've been going to, I had been at some like regional, smaller events for Turning Point down Florida, New Jersey, some other spots, ASU, you know, throughout the last couple of weeks, the last couple of months since Charlie's assassination.
And one of the things that I've noticed as well is that you're right, that more and more people are showing up saying, this is my first Turning Point event.
I've never been to Turning Point before, but I heard about it and I want to be a part of it.
And so that doesn't surprise me.
This sold out within minutes, you know, really of us putting it up.
And I can see attendees and workers coming in behind you there for Amfest.
And speak to me a little bit about, you know, and I said in the opening here of the whole show that the worst thing we could possibly do for Charlie's legacy would be to quit and close up shop and shut down operations because that wasn't what Charlie was about.
No, Charlie was about scratching and clawing for every last vote, every last potential donor.
Whatever department you were with was Turning Point.
You know, he certainly motivated you to do all you can.
You know, certainly, Jack, we've noticed how you stepped up in a big way and how you've really embodied that.
And that's what we've all really tried to do on a micro scale as well, is do a little bit more.
And of course, you know, we've always thought that this mission was important.
But when we consider that after the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk, this mission is even more important.
You know, everything we've done is 10 times more important, which means we really all have to kind of dig deep and do all we can, not just in terms of effort that we put out, but also in terms of showing grace to the opposition, to some of our enemies, figuring out a way to persuade in the way that Charlie did.
That's why he was really the best of us is because he would really, he'd always have the words and he'd always have the decorum.
He'd always know the appropriate way to respond to anything.
And, you know, we're all trying to get there like Charlie.
Well, and I think that's right.
And look, Charlie, it's you can't talk about Turning Point without talking about Charlie Kirk.
I mean, they're almost synonymous.
And in a way, you know, I could get very metaphysical with this in the sense that, you know, Charlie has, I will.
You know what?
I just will.
Because, look, Charlie's a believer.
We're all believers.
Fine.
Charlie physically has left us, but Charlie spiritually is still with us.
And Charlie's spirit still lives on.
As Christians, we believe that Charlie's spirit is in heaven right now with his heavenly father, with his creator, with the king of the universe, Jesus Christ.
And what's interesting, though, is that his spirit still animates the organization that he left behind.
And that organization is Turning Point USA.
So in a very metaphysical sense, not a physical sense, but in a metaphysical sense, as long as Turning Point is still going, as long as Turning Point is still strong, as long as the Republic is still standing, then Charlie Kirk's fight is still with us.
And that the Charlie Kirk spirit, I like that.
The Charlie Kirk spirit will never die as long as we don't let it die.
Sorry to get a little theological on a Friday, but sometimes you have to.
You know what I'm saying?
You absolutely have to.
And I think that's absolutely spot on.
I mean, think of the ways that you try to, of course, remember Charlie, the things you try to, I mean, I know in my home, I have on both sides of my office, I have a memento to Charlie in one of his quotes.
And certainly sometimes when I'm under the gun and there's so many things happening, I feel stressed, I feel anxious, or, you know, there's big deadlines coming.
I look at that and I dig a little bit deeper.
So that's just an example of the way Charlie's spirit lives on.
And certainly those of us who are Christian, which is of course many of us, we feel Charlie around us.
We feel Charlie telling us that what we're doing to fight for his legacy is the right thing to do.
And, you know, if we're feeling that, I could only imagine what the Kirk family is feeling.
And with Erica, of course, taking over duties, you know, she's not, you know, she's not hiding.
You know, she's not just appearing to take over duties.
She's quite literally in meetings.
You see her, you know, we see her.
We've seen her at the convention center.
We've seen her at headquarters.
So when you see Erica taking on Charlie's spirit, of course, in that way, it's just a no-brainer for all of us to follow suit because we are 100% behind Erica.
And we know that Charlie's decision and his wishes to have Erica lead this organization so far has been a great decision.
No, Erica is the right person.
And I've said this from the start.
Erica is the right person to be the leader because that's what Charlie wanted.
And Charlie chose Erica.
It's really as simple as that.
Charlie chose Erica.
That's all you have to say.
And look, obviously, and Erica will be the first one to say that she is not Charlie.
Of course, no one's saying that.
But the point is, this is someone who's got the strength, who's got the resilience, and has been, it sounds cliche when I say this, but if she had not stepped up when she had, I don't know if Turning Point would have been able to weather the storm of those first couple weeks, the hardest possible weeks.
And I remember I was there, you were there, we were all there, and everyone was just had been rocked just emotionally, spiritually, physically at their limits.
And it was Erica.
It was Erica who and her strength carried everyone forward.
And people said, you know what, if Erica can do it, we can do it.
And for all the guys around, right, for all the guys around, that's your duty to step up because when one of your brothers goes down, that's what you just do.
It's what you got to do.
You just got to step up and do what needs to be done for the family, for those left behind.
And there's no questions about it.
There's no conversations that need to be had.
You just do what you got to do.
