Christ is king!
There's going to be a lot of irate citizens when they find out that they're paying for water that they're not going to get.
Oh, that's all taken care of.
See, Mr. Gitz.
Either you bring the water to L.A., or you bring L.A. to the water.
What is the situation with the water?
Obviously, Palisades ran out last night in the hydrants.
I was trying to find the firefighter in this block.
They left because there was no water in the hydrant here.
The local folks are trying to figure that out.
I mean, just complete overwhelm of the system.
I mean, those hydrants are typical for two or three fires, maybe one fire.
Do you owe citizens an apology for being absent while their homes were burning?
Do you regret cutting the fire department budget by millions of dollars, Madam Mayor?
Have you nothing to say today?
Right now, if you need help, emergency information, resources and shelter is available.
All of this can be found at URL. What's happening in California is a true tragedy.
I know those areas very well.
I have many friends living in those houses.
That is a true tragedy.
Virtually Beverly Hills and areas around Beverly Hills are being decimated.
The biggest homes, some of the most valuable homes in the world are just destroyed.
I don't even know.
You talk about a tax base.
If those people leave, you're going to lose half your tax base of California.
This is a true tragedy, and it's a mistake of the governor, and you could say the administration.
They don't have any water.
They didn't have water in the fire hydrants.
They don't have water.
There was some interest in the fire departments and the firefighters in California.
And the interest was that there were too many white men who were firefighters.
And we need to have a program in California to make sure we don't have enough white men as firefighters.
So we have BDI, we have BDI, we have budget cuts.
And yet, I'm wondering now, if your house was burning down, how much do you care what color the firefighters are?
Go home Jake.
I'm doing you a favor.
Come on Jake.
Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily here, January 9th, 2025. Anno, Domini.
What you just saw were some clips from the 1974 Jack Nicholson movie, Chinatown, starring John Huston.
Of course, John Huston, the father of Angelica Huston and...
Danny Huston, who plays the evil developer in Yellowstone, by the way.
But go and watch that movie yet again.
My brother's on a flight today, and I said, go watch Chinatown, because understand what that film was about.
It's about the California water wars, and we're living through the modern California water wars.
Do you think?
That this is all happening by accident?
Do you think this is all happening by, oh, it's just systemic decline, it's just the collapse of complex systems, it's just DEI? And yes, certainly all those things are happening, but do you really think that on some level there isn't someone who's actually thinking about how they can benefit from this?
So what's the plot of Chinatown?
Well, the plot of Chinatown is the manipulation of water resources for profit Powerful elite.
And you see, of course, the elite developer there played by John Hauston.
And what does he say?
He says, oh, yes, Mr. Giddes.
Oh, yes.
You see, we're going to incorporate the city and the valley.
And then I'll have all the power.
You could bring the water to Los Angeles or you could bring Los Angeles to the water.
What does he mean by that?
What he means is...
Is that the property values will go down and then he can come in and buy up all the property.
What do you think BlackRock is doing right now?
What do you think the Chinese Communist Party is doing right now while they're looking at the Palisades, while they're looking at Southern California saying, oh yeah.
Oh yeah, we get in there.
I'll tell you one thing.
President Trump should issue a moratorium that on disaster-affected areas, you cannot allow these massive private equity firms or foreign entities to come in and purchase these distressed properties.
I'm talking for the Palisades.
I'm talking for East Tennessee.
I'm talking about Maui.
Remember Maui and Lahaina out in Hawaii last year?
No.
Absolutely not.
And of course, it's so obvious that's what's going on.
And it's so obvious there's an incredibly famous movie about it that it seems like everybody has forgotten.
By the way, this is based on a true story that took place in California over...
About a century ago, actually, over a century ago, when they were building the L.A. Aqueduct that later became the L.A. River because there were people complaining that it was devaluing their land by diverting the water.
Again, this is what it all comes down to, ladies and gentlemen.
Water and power.
Who has the power of natural resources?
Stay right there, folks.
We'll be right back.
These are influencers.
And they're friends of mine.
Jack Rusovic.
Where's Jack?
Jack.
He's done a great job.
There's going to be a lot of irate citizens when they find out that they're paying for water that they're not going to get.
Oh, that's all taken care of.
See, Mr. Gibbs, either you bring the water to L.A. or you bring...
Incredible.

You can bring the water to LA or you can bring LA to the water.
That's what the plot of the movie Chinatown is all about.
These predatory elites using disasters and using control over natural resources like water in this case.
Kenny Cody joins us now.
Kenny, this is something that we've been talking about here on the program for a long time.
This goes back to Maui.
This goes back to, obviously, the disasters that we saw in East Tennessee and there in Kentucky.
And when we really look at it is, look, I threw out today, President Trump should...
Call for a moratorium on private equity firms or foreign entities coming into these distressed areas and the insurance companies want to get in there, et cetera, et cetera, because we know that that's exactly what these firms do.
Kenny Cody.
Yeah, I mean, we have got to quit letting big-time corporations, we're letting the federal government take priority for people who are actually struggling.
I mean, we saw here in East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, when people are down the list of priority.
In terms of funding, when it comes to Ukraine, when it comes to foreign countries, even when it comes to giving funds to other states for whatever it might be, state government agreements, corporations or businesses moving in, this is what government is for.
MAGA conservatives are not for the abolishment of government.
We're for the right allocation of funds, the right allocation of needs to be able to help people when they need it.
And with FEMA in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, with now the LA wildfires in California, we need to know where government funds are going, what kind of relationships that our governments, local, state, and federal, have with corporations, have private equity firms, and have with those who are preventing these people from getting help and getting out of their homes.
This is going to end up being one of the worst wildfires in the history of California.
It's going to be one of the worst wildfires in the history of the United States.
And unfortunately, the California government has already made too many promises with their water supply, too many lies when it comes to the actual available funds that need to be allocated for the wildfires.
We're seeing the same kind of incompetence that we saw during Hurricane Helene here in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina that cost people their lives, their livelihoods, their households, and their families.
We're seeing the same kind of incompetence there in California because the lack of relationship and the lack of government competence that is needed in all these people to be saved.
And I don't know how much more of a exposure is going to be needed for people to realize that liberal politics, democratic politics, and assigning a priority with corporations and with private interests being prioritized over people's lives.
I don't know if there's been a better exposure of that than what we're seeing right now in Well, Kenny, and that's exactly what President Trump's movement is all about.
It's all about putting the people first.
And you've got a great piece up at humanevents.com talking about some of the team that he's brought in, but also the agenda that he's bringing to Washington, D.C., starting in just a little over one week.
What we're witnessing now really is a regime change.
Talk to me about your piece, 2025 needs to be the year of the MAGA takeover.
I mean, it needs to be a mega takeover of the local, state, and federal government and of its elections and of the culture.
But, you know, Jack, this is something that I kind of alluded to in the piece.
This isn't just the beginning because this is a process.
This is the accumulation of a movement that was starting now 10 years ago on that elevator in New York.
We have now got to the president's getting elected.
This man elected twice.
People have changed the Republican Party based on this man's ideology.
And now we need to facilitate it.
Oftentimes conservatives, libertarians, don't want to use the power that's been given to them by the electoral base, the electorate.
But now we need to use the power that they have awarded us.
If Republicans and the voters in the United States do not want us to actually facilitate change in the federal, state, and local government, they wouldn't have elected us to do so.
But they have.
There is a reason this is the MAGA mandate.
There's a reason that we have a trifecta in Congress and in the executive branch.
We have got to actually use the power that the American people have given us to give back to them, to give the policies, the values, and the culture that they asked for.
It's not the time to be a small government libertarian saying that we don't need to have payback, we don't need to undo things that have been done to us.
We need to use the full power and take over the federal, state, and local governments.
Take over the culture, give the culture back to the American people, restore what we earned years ago when we were a conservative Christian country.
We have to held back to those values.
We have to use the power to pass the Lincoln-Riley Act to ensure that we do have mass deportations, that we are the economic superpower in this world, and we have to have peace through strength in foreign policy.
That's what the American people voted for, and it's time to stop sitting on our hands, have came to be the good guys instead of the status quo, and actually fight back and take over the political realm like the American people have chosen us and voted us in to do.
Look, Kenny, I couldn't agree more.
You look at what's going on in Washington, D.C., or just what went on earlier today, not far from where I'm sitting.
We had the funeral of...
Jimmy Carter today but next week is the funeral of the deep state and the deep state presidents that you saw all displayed next to President Trump and Melania and then of course Biden's there and Gore and Pence and Kamala Dick Cheney kind of a no-show also Michelle Obama a no-show I hear that she and Barry might be a little bit on the outs.
Not too sure about that one.
Not too sure about that one.
By the way, George W. Bush, he was really hitting the Christmas dinner a little bit hard there, George.
You might want to slow down a little bit, buddy.
You want to slow down a little bit.
I know you've been out of power for quite some time.
It hasn't been going too well for your family, but you want to just stop the stress eating because George W. Bush has obviously been stress eating.
Kenny, talk to me about that, the fact that...
The end of the deep state is written on the wall.
Yeah, the end of this deep state is written on the wall.
Like you said, that was a good symbol for the funeral of the deep state.
They're Jimmy Carter's funeral today.
But I think that we need to strive even more.
We need to.
The reason that the people have been trying about President Trump to stop lawfare and to stop these policies and virtue signal to like, oh, we don't really want mass deportations.
Oh, we don't really want tariffs.
We don't really want to take Greenland.
We don't really want to take the Panama Canal.
We need to be making a list of who's opposing it now because this stuff is going to be done now.
They won't hold on.
To the last bit of the deep state that has existed currently in the United States government and in Washington.
They want to grasp pearls.
They want to grasp on to the last bit of power they may have, whether that's in the Senate GOP, whether that's in the House of Representatives, whether that's those that are serving in federal departments before Trump and his cabinet positions take over.
But we need to keep names.
We need to ensure that whoever is advocating against these policies, against these values, and against this culture now will no longer have a role in the Trump administration and hopefully not have a role in the J.D. Vance administration in 2028 because we have to continue this movement.
This is not the end and this isn't the beginning.
This is a process in eliminating the deep state government from society, from American culture, and from our government to finally get the power back to the American people.
And this needs to be the funeral of the deep state.
And the funeral of the establishment politicians that have controlled Washington so long, controlled state government so long, and have controlled all the corporate and private interests for so long.
It's time to give the power back to the American people, give Trump the tool that he needs to bring this country back to revitalization, and ensure that his policies pass.
And that's by rooting out the deep state, rooting out establishment politicians from the federal government, and ensuring that the people are hand in the man that they voted for.
Kenny, what can I say, man?
Happy New Year.
It sounds like you've been waiting to cut this promo for a minute, brother.
I hope it's a good New Year, brother.
2025's got to be the year of the MAGA takeover, and it's time to use the power that the American people have given us.
Look, this is a remarkable time.
I'm going to be at the Coronation Ball here in Washington, D.C. the night before the inauguration.
I'm going to be at the inauguration.
I'm bringing my family there.
I want my children to see this.
And I hope that it's something that a lot of people look back towards for years to come.
That 16 into 17, okay, that was a presidential election.
But 24 to 25, this is an absolute regime change.
The power...
Of the United States government is being returned from the special interests to the American people.
Last minute, Kenny, Cody, where can people go to follow you?
What are you working on?
You know, still working on my articles, Jack.
Just trying to still, you know, give a voice to the MAGA move.
But people can follow me at katiecodytn.
You can find all of my articles archived at muckrack.com.
And I'll pay attention to human events for all of my pieces.
And, Jack, it's an honor to join you, brother.
And I hope you have a great new year and enjoy the inauguration.
Appreciate it, Kenny.
God bless, brother.
We will be right back talking some other regime changes, but a bit further north.
Stay tuned.
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, we are back here.
Human Events Daily, Washington, D.C. Folks, I got to tell you about something.
Thieves have found a new way to steal.
Recently in Montgomery County, where I'm from, a wave of car thefts has hit in Pennsylvania.
What's the new technique?
Cloning key fobs.
And by the way, it's not just in Pennsylvania.
It's happening everywhere in the United States.
But you don't have to be a victim.
You can actually take back control of your security with today's episode sponsor, Silent.
Stop big tech and government overreach.
Protect yourself and your loved ones this Christmas season, on this holiday season, and even New Year's season with the gift of Silent.
Silent's Faraday products block all incoming and outgoing signals so no one can get their hands on your information.
From key fobs to phones to laptops, simply place your device inside, close the sleeve, and that's it.
You are off the grid and you're safeguarded from unauthorized access.

By the way, speaking of the inauguration, you know, when you're looking at the Faraday products, looking at what Silent has, if you're someone who's worried or has a concern about your own personal info being tracked, if they're going to be geo-tracking you, if they're going to be geo-tracking the audience, the crowd that's there, At the inauguration, hey, go throw your device in a Faraday bag and guess what?
You won't have to worry about it at all because you will know that you're safe from all snooping spooks and snoops and secret squirrels and everything else out there.
So when we're looking at what's going on in California, when I see, and I still see people saying, Again and again, they say, oh, I can't believe this is happening.
I can't believe this is just DEI. I can't believe these things are going on.
You know, how could they be so stupid?
How could they be so foolish?
How could they be so inept?
And I keep trying to explain.
The point of a system is what it does.
If you understand the green movement, and if you understand the green movement for who they are, we wrote an entire book last year talking about the far left.
And the extreme left, the people who are completely against civilization itself, who are against, in fact, humanity.
Itself.
Again, the far left greenies actually view all humans as a pestilence.
They view you as an invasive species on our planet and you and by the way, all of us as an invasive species.
You think they care when human property gets destroyed?
You think they care when lives are lost?
No.
They want this.
They want there to be less people.
They think it's beneficial.
That's why they put nature and the environment.
And by the way, here's the difference, okay?
Here's the difference between, you know, an eco-terrorist and a conservationist.
If you want to be a conservationist, which is what you should be, you believe in conserving clean air, clean water.
Clean land, clean grass, clean plants.
We all agree on that.
But an eco-terrorist actually believes that humanity itself should be destroyed.
Actually believes that these systems should crumble so that we can get rid of all of these things.
And maybe, just so maybe, you might support...
A fire department that is not run by the most capable people.
Maybe you would support, say, a government that's not run by the most capable people.
Maybe you would even demonize the most capable people or groups of people that you consider your enemies.
Maybe you would go and put up people who are completely unqualified in your fire department because you want the fires to spread.
I'm not saying they say it publicly, but deep down.
And how do we know this?
Because we've seen them do it in country after country after country for over 250 years!
And then you can go back to the California Water Wars.
And you can go back to Jack Nicholson.
And they talk about it.
They talk about how it's money and power.
It's water and power.
Water and power.
For those of you from Philly, it's water and power.
Water and power.
Because The idea is when you're living in an arid climate like that, they understand that that's where the power comes from.
That you have the ability to control lives, to control the future.
You think BlackRock isn't looking at this and licking their chops right now?
You think the CCP isn't licking their chops?
Wake up!
President Trump should ban it.
Wholesale, he should ban it outright.
There are certain states that do this.
Kansas bans it.
Just go right ahead.
Say black-right can't come in here.
Say this is a disaster area.
This has been declared a national disaster zone.
And as such, there will be certain protections given to the residents.
And oh, by the way, oh, by the way, for the people who do live there, obviously, who have had issues, we'll give them disaster relief.
Then you can have a low-interest loan.
Or, you know, we give hundreds of millions and billions to Ukraine on these loans that are never going to be repaid.
We're perfectly fine, perfectly happy to give those out to the military-industrial complex, to Ukraine, to Zelensky.
They got their billions.
You can't get a couple million for the American people?
Even for, dare I say, even for the people of California who probably aren't quite with me when it comes to politics.
That's what it comes down to at the end of the day.
Who is in charge in this country?
The American people or the elites?
The American people or the special interests?
Guys, can you put that still up of Nicholson and Huston from Chinatown?
Because that's it.
That's the best part of it.
And that's where that famous line comes from at the end, too.
Forget it, Jake.
It's Chinatown.
What they're talking about is, and I'm not going to spoil the end of the movie, and I highly encourage everyone to go see it, but I highly encourage people to understand what the movie is about, what they're saying.
It's, he realizes, Jake, the main character, realizes what's going on.
He realizes the corruption.
He realizes the special interests.
He realizes that's what's going on.
And he's like, how do I fight it?
What do I do?
And they say, forget it, Jake.
Forget it.
There's nothing you can do.
Well, the MAGA movement exists as a response to all of that.
The MAGA movement exists as a response to say, no, we are a populist movement and we are a people's movement and we're not going to forget it, Jake.
We're not going to forget it at all.
We're going to remember the crooked elites.
We're going to remember the special interests.
We're going to remember and we're going to fight.
Back.
In the same way that we talked about It's a Wonderful Life and how It's a Wonderful Life and Mr. Potter, it's just like Mr. Potter all over again.
The corrupt elites, the debt slavery, what are they all trying to get?
They're trying to get your land.
They're trying to get the wealth of love.
What do you think Greenland is about, by the way?
It's about the land.
It's about the resources.
It's about the shipping lanes.
What do you think Panama is about?
Of course, it's about the economic benefits.
It's very, very simple.
These are the things that are wealthy.
These are the things that are valuable.
And those are the things that are not.
And whether or not you can get that and understand how real influence and real power work in this country, that's what the MAGA movement's been all about.
That's what we try to do here on Human Events Daily.
That's what we try to do for the posse to understand that when you're watching the news, right, don't just react to things.
Understand what you're seeing.
Understand the system that's playing out before your eyes.
That's where the DEI comes from.
That's where the wokeness comes from.
That's where critical race theory comes from.
Why do you think they're allowed to flourish?
Why do you think these mechanisms of managed decline are allowed to continue?
That's why, ladies and gentlemen.
And it's also why, by the way, when you see the intentional neglect...
So the intentional neglect of your water supply, the intentional neglect of your firefighting equipment, the intentional neglect of your fire department, then that might lead you to other forms of intentional neglect.
For example, the intentional neglect, say, of adequate Secret Service protection for a presidential candidate that you don't want to see in power.
Someone that you want to get rid of.
Someone who's a thorn in your side.
Someone who doesn't have your interest at heart, but in fact has the interest of the American people at heart.
Well, I'm very happy to announce that just a few minutes ago, I know we've been talking about this for a long time and I wanted to get it out before, but there were some final touches that we had to put on the whole thing.
It has now been set up.
The book Bulletproof that we launched all the way back in October, it was the first book into print regarding the assassination attempts, not one, but two assassination attempts on President Trump.
Myself, Joshua Lysak is co-author.
Ladies and gentlemen, officially as of today, Bulletproof, and I'm announcing this here for the very first time, Bulletproof is now available in...
Audio book.
That's right.
So the audio book for Bulletproof has dropped today.
Yes, I am the narrator of the Bulletproof audio book.
I just went and during the break, I got the email that says it is up.
We've been uploading it in Audible and we were going back and forth a little bit over a few things.
It is up.
It is available right now.
You can go check it out.
And yes, I read all of it, except there's a little bit of a catch.
So you know me.
I like new technology.
I like trying to figure out things.
And people are saying, wait a minute.
Did you do this yourself?
Or did you do this with AI? And here's what I'll tell you, folks.
Here's what I'll tell you.
There is a little bit of an Easter egg in there.
And the Easter egg is this.
One chapter.
There is one chapter in the Bulletproof audiobook.
Which, by the way, as I did the audiobook, because we were able to record it later, all of the updates on Ryan Routh and all of the updates on Thomas Matthew Crooks have been added in this thing.
But there's also one chapter that I did using an AI clone of my own voice.
So the question is...
Can you find which chapter in Bulletproof is the one that has the AI Poso in there?
And I will tell you, by the way, because I checked this, I tested it on Tanya Tay, and I sent her this clip, and I said, hey, I'm testing this new microphone.
What do you think?
And she was at home, and I sent her this little clip of a recording, and she listened to it.
She says, yeah, it sounds fine.
The quality sounds great.
What's the issue?
And I said, well, what you're listening to...
Isn't actually a new microphone.
What you're listening to is an AI clone.
And even Tanya Tay couldn't tell that it wasn't me.
And so, look, that's where the new technology is, folks.
That's where it's all going.
That's where everything's going.
That being said, though, if you want to understand our world, if you want to understand the forces that we're up against, if you want to understand who kicked Joe Biden out of office, then you've got to go and check out Bulletproof, available as of today in audiobook.
So go and check that out.
Go to Audible.
Go to Amazon.com if you've got a membership.
If you want a membership in Audible, it'll be there.
Next, we are going back to the scene of the crime, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Derek Chauvin.
And did the police chief commit perjury during his trial?
See you.
Where is Jack?
Where is Jack?
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting politicians.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back here, Human Events Daily.
So, you know, that's the famous where's Jack bumper from President Trump.
Where's Jack?
And there's something that he mentions at the very end there where he says these are the guys who should be getting Pulitzers.
And the person that we always have on the program and I say is the one who's absolutely deserving of a Pulitzer is Liz Collin from Minneapolis.
She joins us now again today from Alpha News.
Liz, how are you?
Doing well, Jack.
You're always very kind.
Good to see you.
Well, I'm trying to inspire this idea that if we could clone you somehow from AI and just plant one in every major city, then it'd be amazing that all of the truth that we would actually uncover about how our government and our system and our country really works.
Well, that's nice of you to say.
Be careful what you wish for, though.
I don't know.
You've never met me just yet.
But yeah, I'm happy to be on today to talk about more developments really from the land of crazy, it seems, here in Minnesota.
So go with, okay, so we were, and there's two things I want to talk about, but first, right off the bat, tell me about this new document that's come out, this letter essentially, that's been signed regarding a potential example of perjury lying under oath during the trial of Derek Chauvin.
Yeah, so this all comes about, Jack, we were sued for the fall of Minneapolis and my book, They're Lying, The Media, The Left, and the Death of George Floyd, a defamation lawsuit we were served with back in October.
And we filed this motion to dismiss.
As part of this motion, we have...
Had 34 former and current Minneapolis police officers come forward to say this knee-on-the-neck restraint was trained by MPD during the time Derek Chauvin worked as a Minneapolis police officer and also during the time of his trial in 2021. Even more shocking,
14 of these officers go so far as to accuse the now assistant police chief, Katie Blackwell, who is the one who is suing myself in Alpha News, accuse her of committing perjury during Derek Chauvin's trial.
So they go so far in their declarations against sworn court testimony to say that she lied.
And she has been promoted a couple of times since her testimony in Minneapolis, in Hennepin County, during Chauvin's trial.
And amazingly, she's accusing us of defamation after the documentary, saying that it's kind of haunted her.
People have confronted her since.
But we have 49 sworn court declarations in all that were submitted to the court just on Monday.
And so this is some fallout as a result of that.
Okay, so let's break this up into a couple buckets here.
So first off, look, I remember within, I don't know, hours, maybe even minutes of first seeing the video of Derek Chauvin and George Floyd all the way back when it happened at the end of May in 2020. One of the very first things I did was go over to the website, just drive right over there.
of the Minneapolis Police Department and pull up the training and and this was something that I remembered from just being in the military and having been in the Navy and and understanding how these types of trainings and authorizations work is one of the first things you do is you're going to look up okay how was the officer trained how was that restraint is supposed to be applied and was that done according to training and Basically everything that I looked up,
and I guess my question would be to ask regarding these sworn statements, was did they back up that essentially what was done in that video was exactly or as close to as possible in the field, the training that they were given in the police department?
Yeah, so just to let people know, Katie Blackwell essentially says on the stand that she does not recognize what Derek Chauvin is doing with this knee-on-neck restraint.
She's saying that they're trained to use arms in this type of situation.
And we used about 30 seconds in total in the fall of Minneapolis, really drilling down and focusing on this specific MRT training.
So they're saying she lied.
Not only that, Jack, we've included in this brief, Picture after picture of this, in fact, technique being used during Minneapolis police training.
We also have a photo of Katie Blackwell herself that appeared in a Minneapolis police yearbook dating back to 2014, where she...
was restraining a suspect during some rioting that took place after a hockey game on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
And she is in fact putting her knee on a suspect's what appears to be the upper back or neck area, an actual picture.
And so the officer who put together that yearbook is actually part of these declarations to say, here she is doing this exact same thing.
And I believe we have a clip, guys, that we can play that of you asking Chief Blackwell about this.
Hi, Katie.
Hi, how are you?
I'm chatting again.
Fine.
Yeah, actually, I have a few questions for you.
Are you aware that 14 former and current Minneapolis police officers say you lied during Derek Chauvin's trial and perjured yourself?
What's the truth here?
I'd like to talk to you about the lawsuit you filed against myself in Alpha News.
34 police officers have come forward to say that MRT was trained.
By the Minneapolis Police Department.
I've been trying to get in touch with you.
You obviously declined my interview requests.
Don't you think people deserve the truth?
So Liz, have you had any response from either Katie or the department, have you had any response from either Katie or the department, other than of course the lawsuit in terms of
Yes, the police chief issued a statement after all of this to basically praise Katie Blackwell, his assistant police chief, for her moral courage and integrity.
I would still like to know if the chief of police actually watched the fall of Minneapolis or is really fully aware of her testimony.
That is a question we have yet to have answered.
We also have tried to get some questions answered from the mayor of Minneapolis, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry.
He refused to see me this week as I've been trying to actually ask him questions for years.
He came out just about 36 hours after the death of George Floyd.
And he was the first to say this is not a trained technique by the Minneapolis Police Department.
And so again, it seems to be kind of a new day in so many ways, and people are coming forward to really shine the light here and tell the truth.
And I have another question, and look, I was in the military, so I'm not as familiar with the rank structure of police departments, but it seems to me I noticed that when she was giving that testimony, it said Inspector Blackwell, and now when you met with her there, it said Assistant Chief Blackwell.
It sounds like she's been promoted since her testimony.
Yeah, this is what's interesting.
She's accusing us of malice and also how this has affected her career, but she has been since promoted twice.
She was at the time of her testimony.
She was in charge of training for the Minneapolis Police Department.
But you're right, she's basically the second in command now at the Minneapolis Police Department.
In fact, in her career, she has even skipped over ranks from what we understand in the past.
She started as a community service officer.
But even since these court filings, you know...
You know, pretty big, we're calling them bombshell court filings here.
I've heard from former and current police officers as well basically saying, you know, sign me up.
She did lie.
And they would even now like to be a part of this court record.
We also have a use of force expert who has went ahead and put together a declaration.
In our case, we have a former FBI agent who says that this was part of their training.
As well.
In all, this is about 113 pages, just our brief alone as part of our motion to dismiss.
So she's promoted multiple times.
She skips ranks.
She was the former training officer.
I remember, by the way, this testimony.
I remember watching this case.
I don't even think I missed a single minute of the entire thing.
And I certainly remember being very confused when I saw that testimony because I remembered that you could find the training guides online.
You didn't have to go to the, you know, yearbooks and things like this.
It was right there publicly available for anyone to see that the restraint that was used was exactly as trained.
Coming up on a quick break, but Liz, what is something that people should really think about when they're looking at this?
You know, I think to watch closely here would be the next steps.
We know that Derek Chauvin's new attorney, Greg Joseph, is his name.
He's watching closely, and he has called this a very significant development in Chauvin's appeal.
No, I couldn't agree more.
Stay tuned.
I want to ask more about that and a couple other things regarding Derek Chauvin here after the break.
We're on with Liz Colling.
we're getting the truth about Derek Chauvin and George Floyd. - Jack is a great guy.
He's written a fantastic book.
Everybody's talking about it.
Go get it.
And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
And we're going to turn it around and make our country great again.
Amen.
All right, folks, we're back on with Liz Collin of Alpha News, the producer of The Fall of Minneapolis.
And Liz, I wanted to ask you a couple of things regarding sort of an update on Derek Chauvin.
Of course, we saw before regarding this testing.
The last time I had you on, huge development regarding whether or not George Floyd's heart tissue would be tested.
Of course, we're waiting to hear the results of that for his appeal.
Now you've got another huge development for his appeal, as you just mentioned.
Regarding these officers, current and former officers, by the way, the current officers who could face significant blowback from their careers for having come forward and putting their names to these documents, sworn statements to the court, saying that, yes, these were, in fact, trained restraints.
And, in fact, we believe that our own assistant chief lied.
You know, I don't think you need to be a police officer or a member of the military to understand that going on.
I wanted to ask as well, though, this case regarding the inmate in the federal facility who stabbed Derek, I think it was 22 times.
His trial, and you and I were chatting a little bit offline yesterday, is supposedly coming up for this February, even though it happened, what, like a year and a half ago at this point.
What is the update on that?
Yeah, so at this point, this would be the fourth time that this trial has been postponed and moved.
What's interesting is we've been asking questions since the very beginning, you know, especially who is this guy, this John Terskak, a former FBI informant who was allowed around Derek in the law library the day after Thanksgiving back in 2023 when he stabbed 22 times.
This is the first time that Derek says that he was left alone in that area, and he basically is attacked from behind, stabbed 22 times.
22 times.
He tries to kill him.
That's very clear.
And now, as of now, the trial for Terskak set for February.
But what's interesting is that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has said that Terskak is out of their custody.
So we have been asking, what does that mean?
Where is he?
And that is really the only response we have received.
So is it a security issue that he's been moved to, you know, maybe a localized Facility or a jail or somewhere along those lines.
But as of now, the BOP says that he is no longer in custody.
There's also been a lot of questionable treatment just since the stabbing of Chauvin himself.
He was kept away from his materials, his computer, basically put back in solitary confinement during his recovery.
There's just a lot of very strange things that have taken place since this, even after this horrific attack.
And this individual, John Terskak, so what we're seeing is the Bureau of Prisons website, and this was kind of going viral yesterday as well, and I received a bunch of comments about it, and that's why I reached out to you.
It's saying that he's not in custody, and they won't even give you a basic statement on saying where he is.
I've never heard of, by the way, a trial where someone was Going on, and these are federal charges.
I checked that out.
Of course, it is a federal attempted murder since it happened in a federal corrections facility.
And the idea that he wouldn't be held in federal custody sort of flies in the face of everything that we know about this.
Why would he be given to a state or county?
I think these are excellent questions.
And yeah, we've asked several times, and that is all they say that they have to say.
That's all they have to actually tell us is just that he is out of custody.
But you're right.
I think it creates a whole other layer to all of this.
And remember, Terskak is someone who had just a couple of years left in his nearly 30-year prison sentence, and he was willing to risk that.
He says because he decided to stab Derek on Black Friday, some sort of thing he wanted to do to pay his respects to Black Lives Matter.
I mean, the whole thing was so bizarre from the start.
And the very first person, I should say, as we've reported in the past, to even get word that Derek Chauvin was stabbed in prison was our Attorney General, Keith Ellison, who helped to put Derek and the other officers.
In prison in the first place, he led the prosecution against them.
This is even before Derek's family is even called and told what happened that day.
So, again, you get all these questions of treatment.
You get all these questions of what's going on.
And it seems clear to me, and we're kind of dancing around it, so I'll throw in the obvious opinion piece here, is that it just seems like we're dealing, and I think we've always known, that this has been a politicized case.
The entire thing has been politicized.
And it seems like you've got people from...
Up and down either the chain of command or these various administrations that are involved that are trying to just hide the fact that this was all brushed under the rug because of the politics of the 2020 moment.
Is that your take on it, Liz, or do you see something else?
You know, I think that's an interesting point because even this lawsuit, so I've never been sued before.
I'm a pretty ethical, responsible journalist in my, you know, nearly 25-year career now.
But this was so different.
I have reached out again and again for comment.
I know, you know, how to put these stories together at this point.
But we're basically, in the lawsuit against us, we're defamed.
I mean, I'm referred to as a political extremist in this lawsuit.
And you know what is very interesting, Jack, is the person whose law firm is behind all of this.
This is a personal friend of Attorney General Keith Ellison and also Ilhan Omar.
So we are convinced over at Alpha News that we think that politics definitely played a part perhaps in this lawsuit against us.
I mean, it's just so obvious what they're doing.
You guys are out there telling the truth.
You're exposing corruption.
By the way, in a non-political fashion, nothing that you've ever said or reported has anything to do with politics or support for one candidate or another or anything like that.
All you're doing is trying to find the truth, get to the bottom of what is going on in your state, what is going on in your city, and now here we have a situation where you're even being sued by the people in power, and that's exactly it.
We talked about here on the program today, how the people in power do not like their secrets being exposed.
Liz Collin, where can people go to follow you?
Yeah, check out our work, alphanews.org.
I'm at Liz Collin on X and at alphanewsmn on X as well.
Always good to see you, Jack.
Thanks for having me on.
As always, God bless.
Ladies and gentlemen, one day they will be naming awards after Liz Collin.
