Next, that is the big question today after President Biden's historic announcement Sunday afternoon that he is dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.
Pennsylvania's Governor Josh Shapiro is being discussed as one of Harris' potential running mates.
He also endorsed her tonight.
He's certainly under consideration.
I know that from key Harris allies.
He's a first-term governor.
He's Jewish.
There could be some risks in putting him on the ticket.
Also told O'Anderson that some other governors, Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona, are on the list of the Harris team.
So now you say you are not running and your preferred choices have endorsed Kamala Harris.
Will you endorse Vice President Harris?
Well, I want to see what her platform is and her positions.
I want to see where she ends up on that, which I think is rational.
And since we're not going to have any type of a primary process, I don't fault these very accomplished governors and people that have been considering and maybe now are being considered as a VP.
You know, that's the new generation.
So look, I say this as somebody who a year ago predicted Joe was not going to be the nominee.
I'm going to predict that Kamala Harris is not going to be the nominee either.
I think there's a lot of open possibilities.
I would not write off the possibility that it ends up being Michelle Obama.
The hate campaign against Kamala Harris has begun.
You'll notice.
They purposefully pronounce her name wrong.
They say Kamala.
They do it all the time.
It is on purpose.
The early investigation into the shooting reveals that there were key choices made by the service that led to the venue where Trump spoke less secure.
Including a decision to leave the roof where the shooter was perched from, unguarded.
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheadle will say, quote, The Secret Service's solemn mission is to protect our nation's leaders.
On July 13th, we failed.
As the director of the United States Secret Service, I take full responsibility for any security lapse.
The assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13th is the most significant operational failure of the Secret Service in decades.
What the hell did I do for democracy?
Last week I took a bullet for democracy.
Crazy.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, live here from, let's just say, an undisclosed location.
Today is July 22nd, 2024.

You guys might be able to guess the location, but we'll leave it at that.
Folks, President of the United States, Joe Biden, as we all know at this point, is resigning from office, at least in terms of running for the presidency, but he has not yet resigned from office.
The real question is, as of this point, We do not have any evidence of the current status of Joe Biden.
We have mysterious letters that are penned in his name, but they're signed with signatures that don't match or don't comport with his previous signatures.
We are shown stories that were told are from Joe Biden's hearing and his thinking and his listening and his discussions.
We haven't seen him.
We haven't seen Jill Biden.
We've seen Kamala Harris, and yet she hasn't barely remarked on any of these things.
There's been no Oval Office address.
And at this point, it has now been a full half a week since we have actually seen the sitting president.
And I will tell you something, Leviathan has revealed itself.
That's what's going on now.
The actual power, the machine, the oligarchy, the blob, the permanent state, whatever you want to call it, whichever fanciful name, everyone's got these different names for it.
This is what's showing itself, revealing itself.
Like layers of an onion.
That's who is actually in control.
It's not Joe Biden who's in control.
It's not even Kamala Harris who's in control.
It is the system that is in control.
And they are switching out their candidate the same way that North Korea would put out election results.
Oh, the North Carolina delegation votes for Kamala Harris.
What vote?
What mechanism?
What delegation?
What convention?
None of this actually took place.
Well, I'll tell you what's going on right now, is the levers of power are being shifted in the direction of a preferred candidate, but they're not doing so by their own will.
They're doing this because they have to, and they certainly would never be doing this right now if the bullet had not missed on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, Joe Biden would still be in the race.
But I'll tell you something, the other dirty question is, the dark question is, Where is Joe Biden?
The American people serve a right to know.
Where is this man that you say is our president?
Where is this man who's ordered the proxy war against Russia in the Ukrainian state on the territory of Ukraine?
Where is this individual?
Where?
Someone tell me where he is because we haven't been able to see him.
We have no proof of life.
We don't have a selfie.
We don't even have images from going around his beach.
Why not go to the beach?
Why not go hang out?
You have the Secret Service.
You've got plenty more Secret Service protection than Donald Trump does.
Why don't you just go to the beach and have a nice day in the sun?
Catch some waves.
Catch some rays.
It's not happened, and something is amiss.
This sinks to high heaven, and Congress, by the way, needs to do more to get to the bottom of it, and I don't like the job that they've done so far.

Folks, there's a lot of questions as to what's going on with this assassination attempt, an attempted murder of Donald Trump, and an actual murder of a firefighter, Corey Campatore.
We know very little about who this killer was, or attempted killer.
We know very little about the investigation.
The Secret Service is not giving us answers.
Kimberly Cheadle gave no answers whatsoever.
This guy was able to fly a drone.
By the way, Senator Johnson's office has put together a preliminary report and included new information in which, that has not yet been fully promulgated, of a suspicious bike and backpack that were found on the grounds in the same area as this building, this AGR building.
We're doing great.
crooks took this shot.
We're also told that he had a minivan full of explosives that was about a mile away.
So the question is, did he ride the bicycle from the minivan to the AGR building?
All of these questions need to be answered.
We're not getting any of them thus far.
But someone who has a knack for asking questions and digging for answers joins us now.
His name is Darren Beattie of Revolver News.
Darren, how are you?
Doing great.
Great to be with you, Jack.
Well, Darren, I must say you were one of the few people, I think, early on that really zeroed in on Kamala Harris.
And now here we go.
The regime has their girl and Kamala is her name.
What is it about Kamala that she's able to just get the regime and wrap them around her little finger?
How is she able to do so, Darren?
It is an amazing development and, you know, it was also
One of the first to identify the Secret Service as a major agency of culpability, and as it so happens, and I'm sure we'll get into this together as we go further and further down the rabbit hole, but as it just so happens in this incredible timeline that we're in, there's a convergence between Kamala Harris and her secrets, the Secret Service and their secrets, the January 6th ops, And the July 13th op.
All of these things seem to be connected.
And I suspect over the course of the next several weeks, this will develop into the biggest and most scandalous story in the country.
So where do we start?
I like to start just the hearings today were amazing.
The fact that Cheadle hasn't resigned is amazing.
And I think we can put it this way.
It's either Criminal negligence or treasonous complicity?
It's either criminal negligence or treasonous complicity.
Or put it another way, as so many failings of our crumbling empire, the question is, was it diversity or was it the deep state?
Was it DEI incompetence or was it a coordinated setup in order to get President Trump assassinated or some kind of interesting combination of all of these factors.
To me, I think it's really critical.
It's so important to manage the Overton window and assure that the public is allowed to ask the most uncomfortable question.
In this case, we need to make sure that they can't foreclose in the Overton window that we're allowed to speak About the deeply uncomfortable possibility, not saying certainty, possibility that the July 13th assassination attempt was a setup with the complicity of certain elements of the Secret Service.
That has to be on the table because it would be one thing if it were just some kind of oversight that, frankly, you'd expect the Secret Service actually to be zero fail, given the amount of money and training and everything.
You wouldn't even expect a blink In terms of an oversight.
But this is far more than a blink.
This isn't even the Reagan assassination thing that the Secret Service had resigned over.
This is a case where you have a 20-year-old with a rifle who's able to just climb up on a building 130 yards away with a direct line of sight.
That's not a blink.
That's not an oversight that is even remotely conceivable.
And then you add to that reports that there are audience members identifying this threat, pointing out this threat well in advance, and the Secret Service made a determination not even to end the rally or to remove Trump, take him to some safe place until the threat could be identified and neutralized.
This is not really, even with all of the DEI incompetence, I am not, like, as a weird way to put it, I'm not misogynistic to think that this can be explained simply by virtue of female Secret Service agents.
This cannot be explained simply by female Secret Service agents.
It boggles the mind, this kind of glaring oversight.
And to think of the convenient timeline Just after the regime was in holy crap mode in relation to Biden, we're going to lose mode.
You have this desperate attempt.
How many rallies were there before then without anything remotely this close?
And then it just happens to happen at this timing.
And of course, this is all not even to say a word yet about the broader context, the broader context of the Secret Service and its rabid degeneration.
Well, there's no question in my mind, and of course the answers that we're getting make no sense.
with deeply suspicious behavior going back a ways.
And so I've been rambling for a bit, so I'm gonna stop, but I suspect the audience will want to hear more about the history of the Secret Service and its relation to Kamala, January 6th and July 13th. - Well, there's no question in my mind.
And of course the answers that we're getting make no sense.
Also, how was this guy able to fly a drone on the day of the shooting when it took over?
How was he able to bring, and by the way, again, we've got these photos of a bicycle with a long rifle bag.
I don't even know how else to describe it.
It looks like a rifle bag or perhaps, I don't know, a long telescope that's under there who just rides his bike up.
And says, Hey guys, I'm going to climb the roof here.
Don't worry about me and my range finder and my drone and my rifle bag.
Everything's totally fine.
We're also told.
And so Darren, that's number one.
Number two, no one was on the roof to begin with, but number three, and perhaps most damning for the secret service is that when they got the information
That there was a threat on the roof when police, local police, were radioing in, when local police intercepted the guy, and actually one officer stood or sat on the other officer's shoulders and tried to intercept him, and he had the gun pointed at him, the barrel pointed at him, that they never once informed Trump's detail.
Why would Trump's detail not be informed of this, and why wouldn't it have been so hard to pass on the radio Hold Trump.
Hold him.
Don't let him walk out on that stage.
So, uncontested fact that Donald Trump was allowed to walk onto the stage when there was a known threat to law enforcement that he was not prevented from coming back out, which this easily could have been taken care of by simply asking him to not yet walk out on stage.
And this is something where I haven't seen I've been recording some things today, and I haven't seen every minute of the hearing, but I'm not getting very good detailed answers on that from Congress.
What do you think about that, Darren?
Yeah, I mean, there are so many questions here, but I think sometimes it helps to have focus on the main question.
There's simply no explanation, no conceivable, innocent explanation for how one This individual was able to get on the roof with a gun, with a line of sight, and second, let's suppose the infinitesimally improbable event that somehow he was able to do that, but now we have a situation where the crowd identifies the guy, points him out well in advance, and they don't stop the rally.
Those two things together pretty much foreclose the possibility that this was an innocent oversight.
It's not even conceivable how those two things could have happened together without seriously entertaining the possibility that this was a setup.
That is a very dark possibility.
You know, people, in a way, people talk about it cavalierly, talk about, oh, the CIA, this or that, but this is real.
It's not, it's not a drill.
And there is a non-negligible chance that the president, the President Trump, who is You know, frontrunner.
He's going to be the nominee at that point.
He's likely going to go back into the White House.
Very, very possible.
And he's a former president.
That he was set up for assassination by elements within the own government, including the Secret Service.
That is the reality that we're in right now in this moment in the country.
And I think almost the regime benefits from This psychological defense mechanism that the population has that people don't really want to confront possibilities that are that dark.

Let's talk about the use of explosives in domestic, violent, extremist situations.
Because of course, you are first and foremost, the reporter focused on the pipe bomb outside the DNC, which was found on the morning of January 6th, yet placed the evening of January 5th.
One piece of information that doesn't seem to get a lot of attention is the fact that it was concealed from the public.
The Kamala Harris, the vice presidential candidate at the time going for president Was herself in that building, that there was a potential life-threatening situation for Kamala Harris.
She's running for president now, and yet you never hear the phrase, Kamala Harris escaped an assassination attempt.
It certainly would be a way to respond to the things that happened to President Trump at this Butler rally.
And yet we're also told that this individual, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had remote control explosives, so remote detonated.
Explosives are CIDs inside his van that he had similar bomb making materials in his house.
Is it possible that he planned to blow the van when he left and then escape on the bike?
Was the bike supposed to be his escape route?
It's again, just very interesting to me that a lot of these elements seem to coincide as well as this mysterious individual that Senator Ron Johnson and again, his team was kind enough yesterday to send us their full preliminary report on all of this.
But there was a mysterious ATF individual who was at the scene wearing a gray suit.
So he was not dressed in an ATF uniform.
Does that mean that he was there in a sense incognito?
And if he was there incognito as a federal agent, how many other federal assets were there at this event in Butler, Pennsylvania?
Again, we just don't know.
Darren, explain to us.
So here's where things start to get really interesting.
Now, for anyone who's not familiar with the backstory of the pipe bomb, you're going to want to get informed on this now.
So, we have the piece right up at revolver.news.
It's a refresher on Kamala Harris, the Secret Service, and the pipe bomb, and I encourage everyone to read it and share it now.
Now, what's so important about this case?
I just want to walk through some of the salient points here.
So, number one, let's focus on the Secret Service.
There's this pipe bomb that was planted outside the DNC the evening before.
Kamala Harris is in the DNC building on January 6th.
She arrives there sometime in the morning around 11 o'clock in the morning, 11 something.
The Secret Service is on record as having swept the entrance area right where the pipe bomb was eventually found.
Now that's the first weird thing.
Because you see from that picture itself, the pipeline's fairly conspicuously laying there by the foot of a bench outside the DNC.
It's right by the parking garage, right in the area where the Secret Service is on record as having swept.
How do you miss that?
That's very strange in the same way that it's strange that the shooter was able to get up on that rooftop in Butler, Pennsylvania.
That's the first strange thing.
But when you look at the context, it gets even stranger because by not finding the pipe bomb at 11 a.m., that allowed for the pipe bomb's eventual discovery at a very suspicious moment that was totally synchronized with the unfolding attack on the Capitol.
So synchronized that then head of the Capitol Police, There was a perfect synchronicity between the discovery of those pipe bombs and the unfolding attack on the Capitol around 1 p.m.
as their excuse for not having enough personnel guarding the area where the Ray Epps breach occurred.
There was a perfect synchronicity between the discovery of those pipe bombs and the unfolding attack on the Capitol around 1:00 PM.
If the pipe bomb at the DNC had been discovered earlier by the Secret Service, that would have necessitated beef up security and the whole January 6th plan could have been foible and things wouldn't have developed the way that they did.
So that's number one.
Very suspicious and weird that the Secret Service would miss that pipe bomb.
But now here's where things go from suspicious to downright scandalous.
Thanks to the efforts of Thomas Massey, we have surveillance footage of the DNC pipe bomb actually being found.
Now, there's a lot of bizarre stuff around that, but for the full story, you gotta read the piece at revolver.news.
The most salient point here, though, is that upon being informed that there was a pipe bomb just feet away from their protectee, while Kamala Harris was in the building, the Secret Service's reaction was utterly damning.
The Secret Service's non-reaction, I could say, because they stayed in their vehicle over a minute before even bothering getting out.
Whereupon they stood around in the most lackadaisical fashion imaginable, and the real cherry on top, the real smoking gun here, is there's footage.
This is all in the footage, all in the piece.
They allow a group of school children to cross the street in the direction of the pipe bomb.
After that happens, they go through the ceremony of getting a bomb-safe robot To diffuse the pipe bomb, right after allowing a bunch of kids to walk right by it and standing right by it themselves.
So you could either say that they're utterly not concerned for their own lives, for the life of the bunch of kids, for the life of their protectee, and they just had a death wish.
Or you can conclude, which I think is far more likely and far more suggested by all the evidence, that they somehow knew that the pipe bomb posed no threat, which Raise the question, how did they know?
How would they have been in a position to know that this pipe bomb didn't pose a threat?
So again, you have really bizarre behavior with the Secret Service.
One, that they didn't find it during the initial sweep.
And two, judging from their behavior, it was very clear that they knew the pipe bomb was not a threat, despite going through all the ceremony afterward.
Now you combine it with what you pointed out, which is really bizarre.
Kamala Harris hasn't said a damn word about this.
Now think about how weird that is.
From day one, the regime has been shoving down our throats this idea that January 6th was a domestic terror event.
They've gone to the lengths of lying, outright lying, in order to support that narrative.
For instance, the case of Brian Sicknick.
They said, oh, he was bludgeoned to death with Fire extinguisher.
We proved that wrong.
New York Times had to correct it.
So they've gone through the lengths of lying to support this narrative of domestic terror.
In the case of Kamala Harris, they don't even have to lie.
She actually was in the DNC building when the bomb was there.
In fact, you'd expect this not only to be talked about, you'd expect this to be the number one talking point about all of January 6th, that the vice president narrowly lost her life To the MAGA pipe bomb of January 6th.
But instead, for some reason, what should be the number one talking point about January 6th is the most carefully guarded secret.
Kamala Harris to this day hasn't even acknowledged her presence in the DNC building.
How dark does the secret have to be For her not to say a word about it, for her not to milk this politically.
Now, it would be one thing, we would just be in speculation mode if it was just for not mentioning it.
But now with this surveillance footage indicating it's severely suspicious to the point of unbelievable behavior on the part of her Secret Service detail.
I think that compounds things to a level that it's very clear that there is indeed a very dark secret being covered up.
And guess what?
It's the very same agency, the very same Secret Service, the very same type of fact pattern that you see in Butler, Pennsylvania.
And I'd like to conclude these remarks by saying, it's one thing for the Secret Service to be controlled by Biden, at least until very recently, Biden, who's on record as saying Trump is a threat to the country, a threat to democracy, on record as saying that Trump incited January 6th, one of the worst domestic terror attacks in the country, in the country's history, according to him.
And Biden is in control of the person's security, his political rival, whom he says is a threat to the country.
And even worse, the Secret Service is housed within the Department of Homeland Security.
Of all agencies in government, the most aggressively compromised and politically weaponized national security bureaucracy in the country, at the tip of the spear when it comes to the deep state's war on MAGA, and this of all agencies, just happens to control the Secret Service.
I think the audience by now has a pretty good idea of what the actual context
What I think for the audience too, as we go through the timeline, as we get out the details, and this again, by the way, Darren, this has been, and it's going to continue to be until this changes, one of my biggest criticisms of the House hearing that we saw today with Kimberly Cheadle, this director, is that they're not asking detailed questions.
They're asking questions that are sort of softballs.
They're sort of pontificating about DEI, but they're not actually digging into some of these glaring holes.
How did he get the gun thing?
How did the drone go up?
Why were none of these things cited?
Why was the Secret Service not at the 9 a.m. sync meeting with the local police?
And why was President Trump allowed to walk on that stage when they knew there was a threat?
These are very basic, simple security questions not getting asked.

And you're looking at an unhuman play called A Queen's Gambit, which is also seen in chess, of course, takes its name from chess, whereby in The Leviathan, which actually controls all power and all government in Washington, makes a move to sacrifice one of the pawns, maybe one of the pawns that you thought was very important, but it turns it isn't, isn't important at all, and moves the Queen into power, who is essentially, in this case, another pawn.
Would any of this be happening right now?
Would Kamala Harris be magically anointed the nominee of the Democrat Party overnight Had that bullet in quarter of an inch to the right?
I don't think so.
I mean, I tend to think, and again, it's very dark to think about, but I tend to think if Biden had nailed that critical debate performance, if he had performed the way he did, for instance, in the State of the Union address in which he surpassed expectations, he did well.
If we got that Joe Biden at the debate, there would not have been A narrowly avoided assassination attempt on Trump.
And had that assassination attempt succeeded, we would not have Biden stepping down.
We would have had, in all likelihood, again, this is obviously speculative, but it seems like there would be some kind of anointing of Nikki Haley as a unity type figure.
And the system would be glad to allow Joe Biden to lose to Nikki Haley.
I think that's something like that is what would have happened had the assassination attempt succeeded.
And I don't think the assassination attempt would have happened at all had Biden had a strong debate performance.
The system saw that debate performance.
They got their holy crap, we're going to lose moment.
They You know, in likelihood, in possibility, and we don't know for sure, but it's a real possibility, that Butler tragedy and near catastrophe was the last desperate throw, last throw of desperation on the part of the regime.
I mean, it's really insane to think how close that was.

A piece of this would be simply that it would certainly lead to a mass uprising in the United States.
There would be calls for civil war.

That would be the effect of it.

There would be a full court press, massive censorship, massive mitigation strategy combined with an extremely full-spectrum aggressive push For something like Nikki Haley as a uniparty consensus candidate, and the consolation prize would be Nikki Haley gets to beat Joe Biden.
That's what would have happened.
That's, I mean, something like that is what would have happened.
And again, it's simply insane to think that we were within less than an inch of that determining the destiny of the country.
Truly insane.

I think that something otherworldly, and people can put different definitions on it, but for me, you know, the word we use is miracle.

And there were these two would-be ISIS assassin types who roll in and try to shoot up the place.
They're taken out by Texas law enforcement.
But what was hidden for years and later only revealed in the prosecution of a third potential member of their cell was that they had been communicating with an FBI employee, someone who had been paid over $130,000 over years to befriend these individuals, to radicalize them,
And who was, that fateful night, sitting in the car directly behind the Garland, Texas, shooters when they opened fire.
Someone who never radioed law enforcement ahead to tell them, hey, this is the car you need to look out for.
No, someone who instead tried to drive away as fast as possible and was arrested on his own.

But at the very least, the optics of it are deeply disturbing, if not downright
It's just a creepy thing for an announcement of this historic magnitude, after all of that buildup, for Joe Biden to release a letter on social media with no accompanying video, no way to see or hear him himself to get a sense of the condition he's in, all the way until the next day, still not a word.
It's just very creepy and very disturbing.
It's like he's a ghost now.
At the very least, there should be some visual in order to reassure the nation, reassure the world community that he's in some kind of state resembling something like functionality.
This kind of thing where he's just totally AWOL, totally a ghost, is extremely unhealthy.
And extremely bizarre.
And I hope that he comes and makes some kind of announcement soon.
But the fact that it's been this long is, it's very strange.
And it does invite one to think like, you know, there was some comment like, the sovereign is the person who holds the social media passwords.
What's to prevent?
We know, we know that he didn't write that letter.
And we know that he doesn't manage his own Twitter account.
So given those things we know, it's just a little bit unsettling that he would announce something of that magnitude with nothing that confirms that it actually comes from him.
Or even if we don't want to get into whether it comes from him or not, we want, you know, we should at least be entitled to have visual proof of what his physical and mental condition is in at the moment.
And it really just strikes me as, look, back in the Cold War, they used to have this thing called Kremlinology.
And Kremlinology was a study of what was going on inside the internecine workings of the Kremlin.
And, you know, it's kind of like, I don't know, we fought the Soviet Union for so long that we became them.
And so now we need Washingtonology.
And in Washingtonology, you have to study the inner workings of Washington, D.C.
and the oligarchs and the moves to determine who's consolidating power.
That's even how they've described, by the way, Kamala Harris.
They say, oh, she's consolidated support, and she's consolidated the, you know, the Clintons, and Obama, you know, is pushing for this process.
