When you look at the events unfolding yesterday, nothing happens by accident.
It felt coordinated and calculated as one-by-one news broke of different Democratic leaders calling for the president to step aside.
Absolutely.
I spoke to one Democratic lawmaker who said it feels like the ground is shifting.
This does feel coordinated.
Gordon asked the president if there is anything, including family members, that would make him reevaluate staying in the race.
If there is some medical condition that emerged.
If somebody, if the doctors came to me and said, you got this problem, that problem.
Breaking news, President Biden is tested positive for COVID.
It is this dehumanization that has sort of overtaken the Republicans, that overtook the language.
And it's just been accelerated by being anonymous and mean on social media.
Let me just say, Don Jr., Donald Trump Jr.
is speaking right now.

just did an endorsement for a book that's called Unhuman.
For the last eight years, President Trump has given everything he has to fight for the people of our country.
about what the left is and why we can't think of them as human and why we need to treat them as vermin.
And he's endorsed it.
And he's the former president's son and the Republican nominee.
And namesake.

Yeah, this election is the most important of our lifetimes.
This will not only determine what's going to happen in the next four years, this will determine what's going to happen for generations going forward.
It's hugely important.
Now, we've seen obviously the events of Saturday night.
We've also seen the current status of Joe Biden.
I've got to ask you, do you think Joe Biden is going to be the one that Donald Trump is going?
You know about matches.
Do you know, do you think it's going to be Trump v. Biden?
I don't know.
The Democrat Party is in complete disarray right now and it's fractured.
I have the Biden people are fighting with the Harris people.
Then today Obama weighed in before he was saying we need to support Biden.
Now he's saying that questioning Biden's viability.
So I don't know what's going to happen going forward.
The problem that they have is they don't have a viable candidate.
And obviously Biden isn't going to win.
Harris can't win either.
So I don't know what they're going to do.
I look, I see it as this, it's very clear to me, I think Kamala Harris at this point will be the nominee.
The question on my mind though is, if Joe Biden isn't strong enough to be the candidate for the United States, then how can he be the President of the United States?
This is a national security crisis.
It is.
I mean, we have the political issue of the campaign, but then we have the issue affecting every single American, and really the rest of the world is, who's calling the shots in the White House?
And if you don't think that China, Russia, Iran, all of our adversaries around the world are looking at this, just...
Rubbing their hands in anticipation, but also our friends around the world, you know, what are they doing right now?
So you're exactly right I mean this this is a huge issue and it's not just what happens and we talked about November and then going into January with the new president But what happens for the next six months who's actually calling the shots at the White House?
Well, and when you have a situation where not only can he not run the White House, he can't even run the Secret Service.
He's got a director up there who can't do her job, and when she doesn't do it, she doesn't get fired.
Not only is the national security crisis overseas, but here in the United States, someone just died at a political rally.
You've got someone else getting shots taken at him.

Folks, we've got Glenn Jacobs here from Knox County, Tennessee.
Glenn, I have to ask you.
J.D.
Vance, you were in there for the speech last night, right?
Yes, I was.
So, he talked a lot about a forgotten part of America.
He talked about the heartland.
And he said, you know something?
We got problems in the heartland.
And problems that have been overlooked for far too long.
And he spoke about an America That a lot of people don't see.
Now he was focused more on, I think, you know, obviously the Rust Belt and where we are right now.
But these are the same types of things that he was talking about coming from that working class background.
Dealing with the opioid crisis, living through, surviving.
Getting out from a barely bad situation.
What was it about his speech you think that is really causing this new realignment of the party from your perspective?
That's a story for millions of Americans.
That's my story.
Not quite as dramatic as his.
But I came from very humble beginnings and was able to have a Extraordinarily blessed life, you know, and then you have these Hollywood elites and coastal elites that have no idea what's going on in the rest of the country, right?
And they call it flyover country.
It's actually a very derogatory term because just like we're flying over it, but we'll never stop there.
And it's like that missing middle has been completely forgotten in this country.
And there are millions of people that Just want an opportunity to better their lives and instead and everything that the federal government does literally keeps them down and they just never get those opportunities and I've just been so impressed by this convention because that's what it's been about and that's the message that the Republican Party should be putting out there is we are the party of opportunity.
We're the party that is going to allow the free market to flourish and allow people to work hard and to achieve their dreams.
You know, and you mentioned, by the way, and J.D.
got into this as well, and I know this is something that you're big on, in what ways has the federal government really played a huge role in that hollowing out of middle America?
Oh man, just their taxation policy, the Federal Reserve, I'm big on monetary policy, the inflation, Promoting everything that they do culturally, all of those things have had a huge impact on the middle class.
You know, people think that the Republican Party is about big business.
Not so much.
It's actually the Democrats that are all about big business.
We're about free enterprise, which means that people can pull themselves up and sometimes they go down.
But nevertheless, it's up to you, the talents that you possess, as well as how hard that you're willing to work.
And unfortunately, instead of being rewarded in this country, it's punished.
Well, that's right, and he talked a lot about, as well, about the role of previous, by the way, not just Democrats, but even Republicans, that he trained fire on.
He didn't do it by name, but it's kind of rare, and I'll just put it on, it's like, this is a Republican convention, but he was critical of things that previous Republicans have done.
You don't usually hear that kind of stuff at a party convention.
Yeah, you look at $35 trillion national debt, that's been a bipartisan effort.
You look at the wars that have gone on around the world, and it is not Rich people that are out there fighting.
You know, one of the 13 soldiers that was killed in the disastrous evacuation from Afghanistan, Army Staff Sergeant Ryan Knauss, he was from Knox County.
He was one of our kids.
You know, so when I think about things like that, and you have Biden saying that no soldiers were killed under his watch.
That was one of those times I almost threw something through the TV when I heard that.
They are so out of touch with what the common person is going through.
And again, it's the average person out there that's paying the price for all these horrible policies.
Well, and J.D.
talked about that, too, and he talked about his own story of going to serve, and he said, look, you know, patriotism means that you're willing to go fight for your country, that you're willing to go.
And you guys saw the 98-year-old veteran.
He came up there and said, if Donald Trump's the president again, that I'd reenlist and I'll go fight wherever my country tells me.
He said the same thing.
I'm willing to do that for my country.
But the question is, has our government taken that goodwill and taken that good faith from a lot of these good old boys that just want to do the right thing for their country and then send them thrown into the maelstrom of the Middle East, or now we're talking about potential war, direct war, with the Russian state.
And it seems that they're so headstrong about these things when they're not thinking about the fact, and J.D.
kept talking about it.
He talked about the graveyard on the mountaintop of Kentucky, that graveyard.
I could see it.
I could picture it in my mind.
What about those families?
What about the families in middle America that are paying the price that the coastal elites just don't seem to know about?
To me, I think Mark Twain said this, but to me, a patriot always supports his country and countrymen.
But he questions his government.
Yes.
And sometimes you actually have to oppose your government.
And we're seeing that now.
And the way that you do that, though, is by, through the electoral process, which we still have in this country, thank goodness, is by taking control.
So I think that what we're seeing is people like J.D.
Vance, myself, actually, and many others, who have decided, you know, talking about it's not enough, we actually have to seize the levers of powers and taking away, in some cases, from literal psychopaths who Have no regard for people like us.
I absolutely do.
I absolutely do.
party with JD Vance with this new push into a new generation do you think this is a transformative moment for American politics?
I absolutely do.
I absolutely do.
You know before the assassination attempt pretty sure that Donald Trump was going to win the presidency.
Now, I'm positive that he's going to win the presidency.
But, what we've seen, which is an even bigger story, is at this convention, I feel just a complete transformation.
You know, the neocons aren't here, the war pimps aren't here, they won't even come!
Glenn, what you were just saying about how this is a transformative moment, you know, I was talking to Russell Brand earlier, just a few moments ago, I was on his show, and it occurred to me, and I hadn't even had the thought yet, We've got two anti-war candidates running, I think for the first time in any ticket in American history.
It's absolutely glorious.
You know, when J.D.
Vance was named as the vice presidential candidate, the running mate to Donald Trump, all of us just threw our fists in the air because this will be the most anti-war, non-interventionist administration that I can ever remember, frankly.
And I want to point that out again, by the way, folks.
Anti-war does not mean weak.
That does not mean weak either.
It actually means strong.
You have a strong military so you don't have to go out and fight these stupid endless wars.
Think about it, man.
What happened in Israel would have never happened if Donald Trump had been president.
We should have gotten out of Afghanistan.
Donald Trump had a plan to get us out.
And if you think that the Taliban would have been crazy enough to launch that attack with Donald Trump as president, He would have bombed them back to the Stone Ages.
Ukraine wouldn't have happened if Donald Trump was the president.
So it really is peace through strength.
It's not weakness through capitulation.
What is your biggest hope for this new form of the Republican Party?
Well, again, let's worry about the problems at home.
We need to be involved around the world, obviously.
Maybe, as someone put it the other day, we can be the world's guard dog, but we don't need to be their milk cow.
That's absolutely true.
And then we need to take care of our own people, first and foremost.
Taking care of your own people, putting people first, putting Americans first.
And I see veterans here.
How many veterans do we have here right now?
Right there, sir.

What is your message to everybody watching at home?
My message, I'm just really excited.
This is a transformational moment for the Republican Party.
It's really a transformational moment for America.
I came up here, I was very pessimistic because I thought the country was going to tear itself apart after what happened Saturday.
But now I feel that we're all coming together in a very good way.
And I think a lot of people have been woken up about what's really happening in this country.
And I'll throw it again.
Unity comes through victory.
Unity through victory.
And so if you want to unite this country, Let's all get behind this team and this ticket and let's get out there.

Wouldn't this also be something that they could be investigated, that they could be indicted for?
This is a perfect example of the Deep State's weapon of choice, the two-tier system of justice, and a weaponized form of intelligence.
Three CIA directors, one NSA director, a Secretary of Defense, and 44 other people signed this letter.
And to this day, every single one of them refuses to take it back.
This is the perfect example of election rigging.
And the mainstream media doesn't want to report on that because the mainstream media was in on it because they wanted to deprive you of the truth and they wanted to rob Donald Trump of his presidency.
But what happened was a reverse effect.
We have now shown the American people day in and day out that if you're Catholic, they're coming after you.
If you're a Donald Trump supporter, you're a domestic terrorist and they're coming after you.
They illegally surveilled me when I was doing the Russiagate investigation.
Chris Wray used the FISA process to illegally wiretap 278,000 Americans and what did he get?
He got rewarded with more warriors, more agents, and more law enforcement authorities to come after you.
So the essence of the 51 Intel letter to me is the biggest, biggest con job by the projection artists in the radical left-wing media.
And we have to go out there and not say I told you so, but tell your communities that the truth is the only thing that matters on November 5th.
If we deliver the truth on November 5th, we will deliver this presidency for Donald J. Trump.

I do not trust the FBI, Merrick Garland and Chris Wray at DOJ to come in and investigate this.
Our majority in the House of Representatives Speaker Johnson must stand up a committee immediately.

I literally gave you the roadmap on how to conduct a congressional investigation, and I told the Speaker it's your turn to act, not DOJ and FBI.
You are not subservient to them.

And we need to know why, why, why, why the FBI and DOJ refuse to go after and prosecute those involved with this case with the force and speed they have gone after you in the MAGA movie.

I think he emails and, you know, communicates with us more now than he did when he was out.
No, I feel the same way, but I want to go.
