He said there were some times when it was friends and sometimes when it was potential business partners or business partners.
Devin Archer himself said that was an implication of who the big guy is.
I mean, and Archer talked about the big guy and Hunter Biden always said we need to talk to my guy.
We need to see when my guy is going to be here.
Oh, we never saw him talking about business deals.
Well, what the heck was he doing on the phone?
What do you think Hunter wanted him on the phone for?
To say, remember, my dad is the Vice President of the United States.
Joe Biden knew full well what was going on.
I've been saying it for months now.
Hunter Biden was the bag man.
If Joe Biden is not discussing business, that's really only because they're trying to give him quote unquote plausible deniability at best.
Archer testified that there was a value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma's board.
Burisma is the energy company out of Ukraine.
The argument was that then Vice President Joe Biden brought the most value to the brand.
There's that phrase yet again.
Archer also stated that Burisma would have gone under if not for the brand.
This was an Influence peddling brand and the object of that influence peddling was Joe Biden.
He was an essential part of that.
What we also know is that we've had millions and millions of dollars transferred through this labyrinth of accounts that seem really designed to hide these transfers to the Biden family.
That's the sort of apex of corruption.
I mean, I've been a critic of influence peddling for decades.
I've never seen anything like the Biden family.
The word crooked was very pertinent.
I think it was a very good word for Biden.
No, he's crooked.
He's a crooked.
He's the most corrupt president we've ever had.

As we know, the January 6th linked indictments are potentially being looked at by the Department of Justice today, the Special Counsel Jack Smith, but also joining us for the show today, we've got Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has all the details for us on the Devin Archer testimony.

Thanks for having me on, Jack.
Congresswoman, how should we think about this testimony?
Is this something, because you've got your colleague, Congressman Dan Golden, out there saying this is a nothing burger, that nothing came out of this.
Is that true?
Well, you have to remember who Dan Goldman is.
Dan Goldman, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, is basically the trust fund heir to the Levi Strauss family, and they're just huge Levi's Blue Jeans Company, they have a fortune.
So this is a man that's never worked a day in his life.
But he was also the lead prosecutor against President Trump in his first impeachment, selling and peddling the Russian collusion conspiracy lie.
And that's who Dan Goldman is.
And he's also the self-appointed de facto attorney for now Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.
So he was out there tiptoeing around, stammering through his statements, having to admit that, yes, it is true.
Devin Archer said that Hunter Biden put his father on the phone over 20 times with his business partners on speakerphone in these business meetings they were having.
But then he tried to spin it around and said, oh, no, they're talking about niceties and the weather.
Let me tell you something, Jack.
I've been in business for over 25 years.
Every business meeting always starts with the niceties and how's the weather.
That's just how it works.
But the truth is, Hunter Biden put his father on the phone, Devin Archer told us, because they were selling the brand.
And the brand was Joe Biden himself as Vice President of the United States.
The power that he willed with that office and the ability to make problems go away, just like he did for the oligarch that owned Burisma.

Human Events audience, thanks you again for giving us this exclusive interview, this insight into everything.
Now, when we're looking at this transcript that we have, it's sort of an early transcript, there's going to be more that comes out.
Obviously, I assess you know a little bit more than us on it.
He's very clear about actually having not only these 20 speakerphone FaceTimes with Hunter Biden and his father, as well as some of the most corrupt Oligarchs and individuals on the planet.
But at one point, and this is direct from his prepared remarks, he has a phone call with members of Burisma specifically talking about getting the investigation closed.
This, and if you lay out the timeline, they're in Dubai where this exiled Ukrainian oligarch, sounds like something out of a really bad Tom Clancy novel, is hiding, and they're meeting with Hunter.
Hunter puts the dad on the phone.
They have the conversation.
Five days later, Joe Biden flies to Ukraine and gets the prosecutor fired.
You've actually got Devin Archer giving this testimony – I'm reading it going, why am I not seeing the follow-up here from the FBI?
Why are we not seeing follow-up from the DOJ?
I mean, this sounds like Mayor Daley-level machine corruption in our government.
How should we think about this?
You should think about it exactly like what you just called it, because that's what it is.
And here's what's more disturbing to me, Jack, is they had this information in 2020.
Bill Barr as Attorney General of the United States of the Department of Justice held in his hand the FD 1023 form that the FBI brought forward that showed the $5 million bribe given to Joe Biden and the $5 million bribe given to Hunter Biden around that same timeframe.
And of course, Devin Archer told the truth when he was talking about Hunter getting his father on the phone and how they would call, what did he say?
He said they would call in to D.C.
Calling in to D.C.
meant calling in to Joe Biden because Joe Biden was the brand that Hunter and Devin Archer were selling to their corrupt business partners.
with Burisma in Ukraine.
And of course, Joe Biden delivered because he was the product.
He was the service they were selling, and he was making money on it as well.
Remember, he received a $5 million bribe from the oligarch that owned Burisma in order to get Viktor Shokin, the Ukrainian prosecutor, fired.
And just as you stated, five days after that meeting, he went, Joe Biden himself as vice president, went to Ukraine and threatened that he would not hand over the $1 billion in USAID unless Viktor Shokin was fired.
He He waited about six hours and he admitted this himself on video.
And sure enough, he said, son of a bitch, he was fired.
That's what Joe Biden admitted himself on video.
This is a business model That was so easy to sell.
Hunter and Devin simply had to put Joe Biden on the telephone, do a little chit chat with the business deals.
They knew right away who they were talking to, the Vice President of the United States.
And then Hunter Biden would make it clear that they would deliver and help their business partners in whatever they were trying to accomplish.
And that came at a price and it was millions and millions of dollars.
And that's how the Biden family got rich.
Because let's be real, Jack.
We all know how much politicians get paid, and they don't get paid enough money for all those years.
Joe Biden has been in office for 50 years, longer than I have been alive, and I'm not a young person.
50 years.
And look at how much wealth they have.
And what does Hunter Biden have to offer anyone?
He's a crackhead.
He's a washed-up drug user.
He doesn't have the type of experience to be making tens of millions of dollars from countries and companies all over the world.
But he did have one product that was really special that no one else had.
He had the vice president of the United States, and that's his father.
Well, and I think the timeline is also instructive here for us as well because – and this is something Libby Emmons from Human Events and I had a conversation with you yesterday about this.
And there was a phrase where you pointed out, and I think you were exactly right, that they never expected Trump to win and set all of this into motion that it would ever be exposed.
Hillary was supposed to win.
This was essentially Biden's retirement money.
People were kind of looking the other way, saying, who cares?
You know, this is his last hurrah.
He's getting out of politics.
You know, even Barack Obama had people bringing this to him.
And there are reports, I think Politico actually had a report where the administration had concerns about Hunter's business dealings.
But they basically looked away because they never thought that Joe Biden would be in the Oval Office.
This was supposed to be something, you know, a nice little nest egg for the Biden family.
But now they're in there and they're running policy that it seems to me as if our policy is being run as a response to the fact that they paid him off.
And President Trump mentioned this on stage in Erie this past weekend, among a number of things he said on that stage.
But he said no single American son or daughter should ever have to go and die because Joe Biden was taking illegal payoffs from a foreign country.
Oh, that's absolutely right.
Yeah, we were talking on the phone yesterday and I was telling you guys that I felt like this was Joe Biden's retirement plan because Hillary Clinton was supposed to be president of the United States and they just assumed she would be president for eight years.
It was the end of Joe Biden's political career.
And so he went and worked as hard as possible to make these business deals with his son, Hunter Biden, like you said, so they could put away all of this money, this big nest egg, this big retirement.
Joe Biden thought his political career was over, but things didn't turn out that way.
America elected President Trump.
And then the Deep State went into action, and that's where we have all these characters.
They're really important for people to know about.
People like Dan Goldman, a new congressman, freshman congressman.
I serve on two committees with him, and he was the person that people have probably seen all over the news.
You showed the clip as well, where he's spinning and telling, oh no, they were just talking about weather, and it wasn't that big of a deal.
But Dan Goldman, He's a federal prosecutor, and he's still in the prosecutor mode as a member of Congress, and he uses his job every single day to continue to prosecute President Trump.
In our committee hearings, no matter the issue, no matter the topic, whether we're talking about the border, we're talking about fentanyl deaths, we're talking about important oversight hearings, He finds any way possible to attack President Trump in the five minutes that he's given on our very important committee hearings.
Not only does he attack President Trump, he attacks me much of the time.
And for some reason, they always schedule it to where Dan Goldman is usually speaking after me at some point, or possibly right before me.
And I think that's part of the plan.
They're trying to trigger me, make me angry.
But it's always political.
All of his five-minute testimonies and questioning towards our witnesses are always, again, prosecutor mode, going after President Trump.
Or trying to trigger me and others on our committees to be angry and attack him back.
So there's no change at him.
But you have to think about him in a different way.
He's not just a leftist.
He's very progressive.
He's radically progressive.
He's more in the lane of like George Soros and George Soros' son that now controls the Soros billions of dollars.
That's who Dean Goldman is.
Remember, he's a trust fund baby.
He's the heir of Levi Strauss.
He's not connected to real America, and he definitely has a communist mindset.
Well, and Congressman, this is something that I want to explain for the audience directly, that Dan Goldman has not been in Congress for very long.
He's only been there since this January, so it's about, you know, he's just hitting his eight-month mark today, give or take.
But the reason that we remember him is that he was the lead prosecutor in the impeachment, the first impeachment of Donald Trump, when he was on the phone call with who?
Vladimir Zelensky, when he was asking about what?
Ukraine and the payments from Burisma to Hunter Biden.
And that's exactly where Goldman comes from.
It feels to me like he was was rewarded basically for his service by giving him this seat, which, oh, by the way, coincidentally, just just for fun, also happens to represent Wall Street and all of lower Manhattan.
You can't make this stuff up.
We got one more minute until the break.
But just just how amazing is this?
Yeah, there's no coincidences there.
And for the American people that are watching, you need to understand that there's many people like Dan Goldman.
They are filled everywhere in the federal government.
And they're there for a purpose.
It is a purpose that they're working hard on.
And it's to destroy MAGA, destroy President Trump, destroy the America First movement, because these are truly globalist in nature.
That's why we're involved in this Ukraine war.
It's because Joe Biden is on the hook with Zelensky because of him and his son's business dealings in Ukraine.
We have no business funding and fueling a war in Ukraine against Russia.
We should only be pushing for peace.
But most people don't know, Jack, they don't know that this has been a civil war, this has been a fight going on over in Ukraine for seven to eight years.
Most people don't know about the Nazis and the Ukrainian army.
Most people don't know about the corrupt business dealings of Joe Biden because our mainstream media covers this up, and they do not report it.
They'll report all things against Trump, but they never report this stuff against Joe Biden, just like they didn't report much of the explosive information that came out yesterday.

Congresswoman, I want to play for you, by the way, a clip From a recent Joe Rogan episode that I think perfectly exemplifies the dynamic at play that you just described.
Guys, let's play that clip.
It's just, I think that there's repeated corruption.
I mean, like... But there's repeated corruption with the Biden administration.
The corruption with his son, first of all, his son struggling with addiction, that's not my concern.
I mean, it sucks.
It sucks when, if you have a kid that's hooked on crack and is a complete disaster, and he pulls himself out of it, congratulations for him.
It's the corruption.
It's the clear influence by foreign agents.
You don't think Trump has more corruption?
I don't think there's evidence the same way there's evidence right now because of the laptop and because of the recorded conversations.
There's real evidence that they were getting money from other countries.
What about Trump University?
What about his fundraising things?

He's not talking about this because he hasn't even heard of it before.
He hasn't heard of it before because the mainstream media has never really covered it in depth, like they have all of the alleged crimes and alleged conspiracy theories like Russia collusion, the documents hoax, you know, the phone call with Zelensky in Ukraine, impeachment hoax number one, impeachment hoax number two, and on and on.
They cover those 24-7.
They saturate the news cycle with it.
And so this actor, Jim, I don't know what his last name is.
Sorry, I'm not familiar.

But he, Gavigan, he is just like most Americans.
They just don't know.
And I think that's hard for people like you and I and many people that watch your show and follow all your great reporting, Jack.
They don't, we all know all this stuff because we're in tuned and we're informed.
And we get our news from sources that give us this information, but for most average Americans, like, you know, just a lot of people my mom's age, a lot of people that work a job or busy with their families, when they come home at night, they turn on the nightly news that might be like the NBC nightly news, or they may just turn on CNN, or their only news source may be when they're sitting in an airport, and it's on whatever television it's on, it's usually CNN.
Or they're in a doctor's office waiting, and it's MSNBC or CNBC.
They might only see the newspapers that sit on the table, maybe in the break room at work.
And they're busy with their lives, and they honestly do not know.
They do not know.
And so, for people like us, that's shocking.
You know, we're like, how do they not know?
This information has been out for years.
About the Bidens and about Hunter Biden and about his laptop, but they covered it up.
Big Tech actually coordinated with the Democrats and coordinated with the legacy media, and they covered up the story.
They refused to talk about it.
Just yesterday, Devin Archer's testimony was the biggest news that should have been plastered everywhere.
It should be the only thing that every single media company is talking about.
24-7, non-stop, but guess what?
They're not.
They're not talking about it because they're too busy trying to convince people that climate change is real, trying to convince people that the heat that's happening in Texas and across the country is suddenly new and that it's never happened before, that you've got to give up your gas-powered, diesel-powered combustion engine vehicle that you drive, that you've got to buy an electric vehicle That you've got to give up your gas stove because the world is going to explode into a ball of flames any minute now because AOC said so.
This is the type of news propaganda because we are living in a controlled state.
We have state-run media.
And it's unfortunate for Americans.
It's very, very sad that they don't have the information.
So if you're mad at your neighbor or one of your friends that is completely filled with Trump derangement syndrome, kind of give them a break.
They honestly don't know anything else because they've been fed this garbage nonstop for years now.
I mean, we're going all the way back to 2016.
Since 2016, the mainstream media has been flooding the market nonstop with lies about President Trump, but not telling the truth about any of the Democrats or Joe Biden and their family corruption.
So it doesn't surprise me that this guy Jim, Joe Rogan's guest, Even though he's an actor and seemed like he was probably informed, had no idea.
And that's our problem.

Well, no, I was just going to say that it seems to me that, and we can talk about blue and red and left and right and globalist, nationalist, but I do think that a huge part of this, of what we're seeing now, is also people who believe what they see on corporate media versus people who listen to independent media.
And that, by the way, includes independent media on the left, because you can find people like RFK Jr.
who are saying a lot of the same exact things when it comes to, I would say, geopolitics, when it comes to corporate corruption, government corruption that you and I are talking about.
And I'm sure that you and RFK Jr.
aren't exactly from the same side of the aisle when it comes to politics.
But it seems to me that there are issues that we used to be able to discuss in this country, like when you have RFK goes on Hannity last week and points out that just when it comes to Ukraine, that Russia had attempted to sign a peace deal with Zelensky, that they were actually in the process of signing off on it.
But how many people actually know that because it's simply not covered?
Do you think that that is actually what's driving so much of the division in America today?
Oh, of course it is.
The division in America today is awful.
You know, unfortunately, they took a sports model to politics.
You know, I live in Georgia where we love SEC football.
College football is it.
And, you know, among my friends, I'll have friends that are for Alabama.
I'm a Georgia girl.
I graduated from UGA.
I've got friends that went to Tennessee.
And we get along on every single issue and then it comes football season and it's game time and we're all about our team.
That's the model that they moved into politics.
So if you're a Republican, you're Team Republican.
If you're a Democrat, you're Team Democrat.
And they have divided us so much with identity politics.
They've divided us with trying to make Trump appear to be a criminal and he's not.
And if you don't think he's a criminal, well then you're almost a criminal too.
But they've divided America so much that it's like team sports now.
And we can't even talk anymore. - I've actually made that exact same point publicly multiple times.
And I've specifically, and I'm not asking you, but I've just said that I think that actually one of the first people to ever do this in American media was Jon Stewart back when he ran The Daily Show during the 2000s.
And that he, you know, he didn't come from a political or journalistic background.
He came from a background, but he understood sports and he understood sports talk radio.
And look, I come from the Philly area and I think people know that folks in the Philly area are a little bit particular when it comes to our sports teams, you know, and that's exactly how I viewed what they did to media.
They turned it into our team versus their team versus how we're as opposed to What are we going to do for the better of our country or what is actually going on?
And so, yeah, you can say this is a gotcha thing going on with Biden.
I get that.
But if I found a Republican that was doing the same type of stuff, which, by the way, there are Republicans involved in the same type of stuff, that I would go against them just as hard because we need to break this uniparty establishment that's been in charge of our government for so long.

And it's because of the Suspicious Activity Reports I read on the Bidens and the Treasury over months now.
And those are bank reports.
They have to make them.
So if any bank has any kind of customer that is engaged in Suspicious Activity Reports, Right.
Suspicious activity reports.
They have to produce those.
And they've had thousands of pages of SARS reports in the Treasury for years on the Bidens.
But I believe there's probably suspicious activity reports on all kinds of politicians and their families.
So I would like to write a bill and hopefully get it passed where people like me, anyone that is an elected officeholder, anyone that works in the federal government and their immediate family, if there is a SARS report issued on people like me, the president, the vice president, senators, members of Congress,
Anyone in the federal government, because those unelected bureaucrats are making decisions too, that those SARS reports should be public record, you know, of course taking off private data like our addresses and things like that.
But that should be public for the American people on a website, because that's how you cut down on corruption is when everyone knows about it.
And I think it's on both sides of the aisle.

So that's the Soviet thing is what now conservatives in this country like.
They want to eliminate the competition.
They want to merge and buy out the competition so that they're the only company, right?
So we have only like five meetings.
I was thinking that.

I was thinking that the rich people are trying to make us communists.
They're trying to be like the old Soviet Union.
How about this?
When the Republicans voted for impeachment, they voted 225.
Not one dissent, like the old Politburo in the Soviet Union, where everyone agrees, right?
You know, it's like that's how the Republicans are in Congress.
They're like the old commies.
Donald, you cannot let other rich people turn this into a communist country.
Yes.
I don't think we have too much of a problem, but it certainly is an interesting viewpoint.
This is one I have not heard before.
I haven't heard it either, but I like it.
So Congresswoman, that's Donald Trump, Roseanne Barr, and Michael Moore sitting down back in the 90s, and there's so many levels to this, where they were actually having a conversation about what's going on.
And I think what's interesting is, so Michael Moore tries to, he tries to do the Republican Democrat thing on it.
But what Roseanne does, and I think is very smart, is she says, no, I can see what's going on here.
We've got wealthy elites that are trying to push America down the path of socialism.
And then she turns to Donald Trump 25 years ago and says, Donald, you have to make sure that other rich people don't turn America into a communist country.
She warned him about exactly what was going on in real time.
And she understood that it wasn't about red and blue.
It was about up and down.
What's your immediate response to that?
Oh, God bless Roseanne Barr.
I absolutely love her.
Well, you know, what's interesting to me is Michael Moore.
Michael Moore was basically giving the information psyop, so to speak.
He was putting that divide between Republican and Democrats early on.
And that was actually going on back then.
I can remember it.
But his talking point that he put into that conversation was Republicans are the ones Trying to push communism in America.
Republicans are the ones knocking out the little guy, when really that's not true.
Look at Big Tech for an example, Jack.
Look at how these huge companies, they push out anyone small, or media companies.
It's hard for a small media company to compete with the major media companies.
You can look in any kind of industry, and most of the time, if you're looking at the top of that industry, who's running that industry?
Democrats.
It's not going to be the Republicans that are running it.
Most Republicans believe in fair trade.
We believe in fair business practices.
Most Republicans are usually small business owners.
A lot of them were wiped out during the COVID lockdowns, which was communism in America.
So Michael Moore's talking points are so interesting to me, but I absolutely love Roseanne Barr for seeing it just like it is.
She was looking at the power structure.
She was saying, those rich guys, you're not going to let those big, rich companies do this in America, are you, Donald?
And so she didn't label it politics.
Like you said, she saw it up and down, the elites versus all the little people.
But it was interesting how she looked at Donald Trump and said, you're not going to let this happen in America, not communism.
And that's actually what President Trump set out to do, turning our focus back to America first.
That's why he stood out on that stage among 17 Republican candidates for president in 2015 and 2016.
That's why we picked him, Jack, and you know that so well.
We picked him because he was pushing away from the communists that have been trying to take over, actually for decades.
I mean, you have to look when communism started.
It started long ago, back in the 30s and 40s, and infiltrated America, moving into, they figured out they couldn't have a communist party in America, it didn't work.
So now they've infiltrated it into the Democrat Party.
It's easy to look at me and my colleagues and see that.
They just ran this whole movie Oppenheimer trying to tell us that, oh, no, no, no, it wasn't communist infiltration.
It was it was just a bunch of good Democrats.
And even though even though he had friends who were communists and he supported the communists in Spain and his mistress was a communist and his wife was a communist and his brother in law was a communist, he was just a fine, upstanding American.
And the government I went in there.
I thought I was going to watch a movie about atom bombs.
I'm like, I'm a dude.
I want to watch big bombs go off.
It's awesome.
I've been to the Trinity site.
No, the whole movie is about trying to whitewash the history of communist infiltration of the United States.
We did a whole episode on it last week with Roger Stone, who knew some of the people that were actually involved back then in these investigations.
And so it's amazing to me that they won't tell us our true history, but then we look at the stage now as we're facing this primary, and to my To my view, I think that on the Republican side, you've only got one candidate who actually understands and is defining what the situation we're in is, as opposed to everybody else.
I might say that RFK a little bit on the Democrat side, but I think he might be a little bit more of a long shot.
I think Trump is the only guy who actually understands the situation that you're outlining.
Oh, I completely agree.
I should go back and watch that episode that you guys did.
I probably would be interested in it.
The communist infiltration into the Democrat Party is something I've studied for a long time, and it's so easy.
For me, it's like looking through a clear window.
You can see how it's transformed the Democrat Party, how they take over labor unions and use the workers' rights model as well as health care and big government.
And they're just growing their power more and more.
It's really terrifying.
The infiltration of unions was actually testified to by none other than Walt Disney himself to Congress back during those hearings.
He said, Hollywood is becoming communist and they are using the unions to get in.
And he went and testified to the entire world and people can find this testimony.
It's in the congressional record.
The video is out there.
You can, you know, YouTube tries to suppress it.
It's there.
Walt Disney World.
Oh, definitely.
And a lot of the communist movement started in Hollywood.
And think about how much power they had making movies so many years.
It truly is terrifying.
But it's also in the big media companies as well.
And they love their power.
They love controlling people's thoughts and eventually controlling people's votes.
Simply by the way they put on information, the type of stories they cover, and then the stories they refuse to cover, like the Hunter Biden laptop, Devon Archer testimony, and Biden crime family.
But I think this is a really important topic to talk about and educate people It's not just the Democrat Party anymore.
That's why I changed my campaign slogan last year.
My first time, I said, Save America, Stop Socialism.
That was in 2020.
But when I came into Congress and, you know, were face-to-face with Democrats and listened to how they talk and read their bills, I was like, no, this is communism.
It's not socialism.
So my campaign slogan in 2022 was Save America, Stop Communism.
And that's really what we're up against, is true communists.
And it's in our own government, and it's in our government far bigger and wider than people realize.
And, you know, when you talk about workers, I care about workers so much.
That's mainly what my district is, is a lot of just hardworking people.
And there's many labor unions that take advantage of them.
They pay these labor union fees, and it's taking money away from them and controlling how much money they can make, controlling the decisions that are made for them.
And that's eventually, in a lot of cases, not necessarily good for them.
But it's a concept that's been pushed on workers all across America for decades now, that they have believed their union bosses We are.
are the ones that are making the good decisions on their behalf.
And that's just not the case.
If we truly go back to America first government policies, which promotes our own American businesses over the businesses that we compete in other countries in the world, our workers here in America, just along with our American businesses, are going to thrive and make more money and have just along with our American businesses, are going to thrive and make more money and have And I think that's important for us to do.

Congresswoman, there's all this talk in D.C.
right now, and as we record this, about a potential new indictment on President Trump.
This for January 6th, for questioning the election, for filing legal challenges to that election, working to bring together alternate slates of electors, which by the way, many As has happened before in many times with many candidates, including, by the way, JFK in 1960.
What are we to make of all of this?
Well, we're looking at entering the official 2024 campaign for the Democrats, is how I see it.
This is where they use their government power to basically interfere in elections.
And that's what Jack Smith's special counsel is all about.
That's what the weaponized government, the FBI and the Department of Justice have been doing.
It's create as many bad headlines on President Trump as possible.
They're baseless.
They're nothing but allegations.
But they're going further this time, where they're going to be soon indicting President Trump in Washington, D.C., and it's going to be something like we've never seen before.
I think it's going to truly put not only President Trump and his family, all of his staff, put them to a test they've never been tested on, but it's also going to test our nation.
And it's something that I've prayed about a lot, and it's just sad to me.
Jack Smith, he's a terrible attorney.
He has a lot of failures in his career.
But he is abusing his power, the power of the special counsel and the Department of Justice, and he will be doing this all for political reasons.
It's all about the January 6th lie, Jack, and we know the truth.
The truth is that Nancy Pelosi knew ahead of time early in late December.
She knew the threats to the Capitol.
She had been briefed multiple times.
She refused to bring in the National Guard.
President Trump signed off.
He was ready to sign off for the National Guard to come in.
As a matter of fact, requested it multiple times.
But Nancy Pelosi refused to secure the Capitol.
And it was her job as Speaker of the House, not the President.
The President doesn't do security over the Capitol.
It's the Speaker of the House that does security of the Capitol.
And we've seen it unfold ever since then.
President Trump did nothing wrong going into January 6, and neither did anyone else.
As a matter of fact, we should always question election integrity.
That's the right thing to do, because our elections must be safe.
And there's nothing wrong with setting up a group of electors, a separate list of electors.
Just as you mentioned, they did that for JFK and they've done it for other people, but they're going to drag these innocent people, they're going to drag their families through something horrible, and we're going to watch this continue all the way up to the general election in 2024.
Congresswoman, I think you're right, because they want to memory hole this.
They want to memory hole the George Floyd riots.
They want to memory hole everything that took place that year.
They want to memory hole the lockdown, the fact that people were shut in their own homes by the government in terms of this.
And you have one guy and one populist movement that's actually fighting back to do anything about it.
And that's the reason, as far as I'm concerned, that they're indicting him again and again.
If he wasn't... I saw somebody It was Will Hurd, your former colleague Will Hurd, who said, Donald Trump is running for president to stay out of prison.
And I said, I think you've got cause and effect backwards there.
I think the reason they want to put him in prison is because he's running for president.
If he wasn't running, they'd just let him hang out at home.
They wouldn't care.
That's right.
They would give anything to have the Donald Trump that they used to have.
They want him to go away, to stop running for president.
They want him to retire.
They would love to have him back at the parties.
They would give anything if they had another person like Donald Trump.
With his personality and charisma and the fact that he's a leader and everyone just loves him.
But they don't.
They don't have a Donald Trump.
And they used to have him, but they don't have him anymore.
And now they're trying to bury him and anyone that stands with him.
And it's outrageous, Jack.
Now, we're in appropriations, so something that Congress can do.
Something I am focused on doing.
I've said from the beginning of this Congress that I would not fund Jack Smith Special Counsel.
I want to defund it.
And the only way we can do that is through the Holman Rule in our appropriations process.
And America will watch that unfold when Congress goes back in session on September 12th.
We'll be working.
We've only passed one appropriation bill.
We have 11 more to go through.
There are going to be 12 separate bills.
And I'm focused on we have to defund Jack Smith's special counsel.
Matt Gaetz has aligned with me on that as well.
We've both talked about it and are working on it.
But I will not vote to fund the FBI's new headquarters.
I refuse to do that.
I will not vote to fund a weaponized government in any form in the FBI and Department of Justice.
That's the only power that we as Republicans have right now to make a difference.
But I got to tell you, we don't have a lot of people with us.
We don't have a lot of Republican senators on our side.
And we don't actually have enough Republicans in the House to potentially do this.
Remember, we have to have 218 Republicans to pass anything.
In the House of Representatives.
So, looking forward, going from this date, it is worrisome about what's going to happen in our future, but I always have hope.
And that's one thing I just want to mention.
It's important that we put our full faith and hope in God and not anything that we see in the headlines and not anything that we see happening in the news.
Our real hope needs to be in God.
And Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I know He's yours as well.
And God has plans much bigger than this.
And I believe in the American people also, Jack.
I believe their power is much bigger than mine.
I'm only one member of Congress, but the American people, when they really feel like they want to make a difference, I truly believe they can.
