MA Stay Legit 00:15:19
All right, what's up, ladies and gentlemen?
Welcome to the Paranautica podcast.
It's just me, Coop, your dutiful host, here as usual.
Just me today.
Cricket is out on a sickness.
I was just like, yeah, all right, dude.
You're not getting paid for today.
All right, dude.
Don't expect to get paid today.
But take the day off, rest up, eat some chicken noodle soup, drink some broth, drink some water, drink some fucking, I don't know, propel or get some electrolytes.
Get some electrolytes in there.
You know what I mean?
Anyway, today, I'm going to discuss a few cases here.
Basically, a handful of times that innocent people, just innocent individuals hanging around doing the thing in the daily, you know, their daily routine.
10 times, innocent people murdered for a mistaken identity.
But before we get into the stories, let me just scroll here through Twitter and see what bullshit's fucking brewing.
You know what I mean?
Let's see, like 100,000 people show up to praise Charlie Kirk's memorial.
Look, some really, really, really big high school football player literally just Superman body slams himself onto another player that's already laying on the ground.
Where is this?
A teen lineman breaks spine.
Oh my God.
A 15-year-old with intentional slam during Lake Short High School game.
Wow.
That's incredible.
Crazy stuff right there.
What else we got here?
Bullshit turning point.
Bullshit.
Stephen Miller lying to the public again, as usual.
Elon Musk being a dumb fuck as usual.
Trump being a piece of shit as usual.
This investigation of Charlie Kirk, that's ongoing.
Obviously, the FBI is lying their asses off to cover up their own little agenda because the official story is complete bullshit.
I'm sure most of you can see that.
I mean, if this Kyle Kidd or Tyler, whatever the fuck's name is, if this guy is the quote-unquote suspect, he didn't work alone.
And obviously he was not the one that took a shot.
He's got two fucking eyes that go different directions.
Looks like a fraud.
That guy's not shooting a fucking 30 out 6 at 200 yards at a direct hit to a neck.
Not going to happen.
I think we can all agree on that.
Pete Hagseth being a piece of shit as usual.
What else we got here?
Fuck, dude.
It's like seriously, just all a bunch of nonsense.
Oh, Elon Musk is all alone at the Charlie Kirk Memorial.
Play the violin.
Play the violin.
What a douchebag.
I fucking hate that guy.
You know, ever since I had a dream about him, like trying to, like, I don't know what the dream was.
It was a weird dream, but he was in my dream and he was acting like he was my friend.
He's like, oh.
It was like this compound thing in the woods somewhere.
And I'm like, I do not belong here.
Like, I am not like all these other fucking assholes here.
Like, these guys are fucking dumb motherfuckers.
But then Elon Musk is all that cozy and up to me.
He's like, come on, dude, just open up.
It's cool here.
You know, we're friends.
I'm just like, dude, I don't like you.
Like I straight up, like, looked at him like, Elon, I don't like you.
I hate you.
It was a really weird dream.
And ever since that dream, it's just like, every time I see this fucking guy, I just want to punch him in the face.
Seriously, I do.
I just want to punch him in the face.
Laura Loomer works for Mossad, as we know.
Yeah, yeah.
Laura Loomer, just another piece of shit.
What else we got here?
Trump, Elon Musk, and the guy that owns the UFC hanging out again at the memorial.
Well, that's the gayest shit I've ever seen.
The Tate brothers standing in the rain, their shirts off, trying to look menacing.
And any second, they could start making out.
I'm just, I don't even want to watch that anymore.
What else we got?
What else do we have here?
Two police officers visit a family home to seize a child's phone for viewing a social media post.
Hate speech prosecution.
Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, we're on our way to full-on tyranny.
They are definitely screening all of our texts, all of our messages to see where we fall in line with the government.
Okay, well, I'm doing this because this is my own house and I am telling you why I'm sitting.
So I just need to know why would she basically viewed a post, which is not an arrestable offense.
Yeah.
Okay.
The only thing is we need to seize the phone at this current moment.
Yeah.
The phone needs to get seized from us, otherwise we will escalate this fiber.
With a voluntary interview.
So have you seized anyone else?
Is she the only child?
You're picking up a voluntary interview.
You'd be able to come up with a picture of the money.
Have you spoken to anyone else?
No, we'll come to the station now.
Do you mind letting her finish her sentence before you have to get further escalation, unfortunately?
That's fine.
We'll come to the station.
The phone isn't seized right now, and we're not able to basically get the phone.
We have to escalate this further.
Which means your daughter will get arrested.
For what?
And you and a social media post?
Is that in order to get it?
No, absolutely not.
What can we do to prepare to happen to spend this ratio of evidence?
I'm sorry.
That's fine.
I would like you to leave now.
I'd like you to leave.
Okay, I have nothing more to say to you.
A social media post.
I've got nothing more to say.
I'd like you to leave.
You've harassed the visual child.
Enough.
I'd like you to leave.
Lisa, that's no worries.
Obviously, I'm one of those at the top of the list to a FEMA camp or just straight up execution.
One or the other.
What's this from the resonance?
Italy is famous for pizza.
Turkey is famous for kebabs.
Lebanon is famous for hummus.
Palestine is famous for olives.
What's Israel famous for?
I don't know.
Let's hear the first comment.
Diamonds.
Man-made diamonds from the ashes of babies.
Yes.
That comes from Miami Patriot.
Patriot Miami on Twitter.
News sucks.
Normie news is the worst.
It's the worst shit ever.
Adam says from Adam E-Media.
It's a long shot, but can we get 20,000 people to reply with?
Quote unquote, fuck Israel.
They would never be able to beat it because he's responding to Mariana Times.
Can we get 10,000 people to reply with fuck Palestine?
Dr. Anastasia Maria Lopez.
Can we get 2,000 people to reply with?
Fuck Israel.
You got 20,000 likes on that one.
Adam, so far, has got 97,000 likes, 12,000 comments, 11,000 reposts.
I think we can all agree, fuck Israel.
Fuck Net and Yahoo.
And I have been very, very, very, very vocal against Netanyahu on Twitter, personally just tagging him and everything I say negative about Israel, the government, the IDF, not the people.
The people can change.
The government, it can't.
It won't.
They're hard set on world domination.
They're hard set at controlling all the porn industry.
They're hard set on controlling the vaccine industry.
They're hard set on just destroying everything that is good.
All right.
Laura Loomer.
Let's see.
We will have another 9-11 in our country probably within the next six months to a year.
I mean, that was a while ago.
Gentile News Network asks, is that a threat?
Well, Laura Loomer is Mossad.
So I think that's a threat.
Yes.
There's supposed to be some crazy terrorist attack coming pretty soon here, but we can all understand that it isn't going to be some splinter group that just kind of domestically grew out of nowhere and decided to be these terrorists.
No, no, no, no.
It's never like that.
It's never like that.
It's always some three-letter agency within the governments all around the world, not just the United States.
The United States can do their own little missions, but when there are these terrorist attacks that they blame on, you know, the Muslims.
But it's never Americans.
It's always these gangs.
These little gangs, these thugs that are paid by Source-funded money or not just Soros, but just straight up the U.S. government.
Obama.
Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump.
JD Vance.
You know, J.D. Vance is the mouthpiece of Palantir.
And what's Palantir doing trying to take over the entire world with all the who?
You guessed it.
Anyway, not get bogged down with all this bullshit news, right?
All a bunch of bullshit.
Oh, here's old Benji Netanyahu Milakowski himself.
Giving a speech.
We own all your cell phones.
I think you guys have all seen this by now.
We own all your cell phones.
We feed you.
He literally says they grow the food that we eat.
They make all the cell phones that we use.
They do this that we all like.
I forget the word, the term for it, but it's like when you go on a rampage of saying these certain things to try to get this point across, it's always the opposite.
when it comes to these people.
Always the opposite.
I think I'm getting kind of sick, guys.
It's getting cold now and getting a little stuffy.
But anyways.
Anyways.
Oh, I'll say this one last thing.
MA Stay Legit, Bag D Milk So What on Twitter says 40 minors gave sworn testimonies that they'd been raped and trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
Cash Patel under oath says, quote, there's no credible information that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked minors.
End quote.
Yeah.
I'm very vocal against this motherfucker too.
Like, he's there for a reason.
They put him there because people, he's likable, right?
Everyone likes him.
Oh, you guys are like taking down all the gangs, all the drugs.
You guys doing good job.
He's not doing a good job at all.
Whoever thinks Cash Patel and the FBI, Dan Bongino are doing a good job, they're not doing a good job.
You guys are fucking retards.
Just saying.
Just saying.
These people are put into place for a reason.
Anyone looking at the state of the country and where this shit's going knows nothing's going good.
Okay, Trump's up there saying this is the best the country's ever been.
Fucking idiot.
No, it's not.
We are getting worse and worse and worse.
Oh, not to mention that Social Security is going to be gone here pretty soon.
Yeah, we're just, quality of life is just really improving.
Really improving.
All right, enough France.
I'm going to get heated up.
And this isn't supposed to be a heated up show.
This is literally just going to be a quickie.
10 times innocent people were murdered for mistaken identity.
So.
Vigilantes often believe they are righteous individuals who take justice into their own hands to punish criminals that law enforcement either cannot or will not address.
In their perspective, they are the heroes, taking action and defending the vulnerable when no one else dares to.
However, the issue arises when justice is administered without due process as it can quickly devolve into mere violence directed at anyone who appears suspicious.
This is when innocent individuals can suffer tragic consequences.
The victims in these 10 cases that follow were not guilty of any wrongdoing.
Yet, they still bore the brunt of others' crimes.
And ladies and gentlemen, we know this prison system, man, people run on emotions so much that it's like anyone can say anything about anybody, like an accusation, something they did that, you know, is against society, against morality, against ethics.
And people will be quick to believe it because they're emotional savages.
And they'll just, oh.
Oh, he's a rapist.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh, you said he's a rapist?
Then he must be a rapist.
You know, it's the dumbest fucking shit.
People need to step the fuck back and try to understand the situation before they just are quick to judgment.
Because, you know, we all will be judged accordingly.
You know, this bubble we're in, this living, living space.
But I do think I'm not a devoted Christian.
I'm not a Catholic.
I'm not any religious, you know, religious person at all.
I try to be spiritual, I try to see the good in all things, but holy fuck, there really isn't.
I mean, there is, but you know what I mean.
Anyway, this first story here.
A passing electrician lynched as a thief.
Mohamed El Zahra was a 30-year-old electric repairman from the suburbs of Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 2017, he was confronted by a mob of furious men who accused him of theft.
Tragically, the items he was alleged to have stolen were amplifiers from a nearby prayer room.
Despite El Zahra's insistence that he was innocent, the mob was unrelenting.
He was brutally beaten to death right there, even as he uttered his final words, I'm not a thief.
I'm not a thief.
Following this horrific act, the mob set his body ablaze, alive, celebrating as he burned.
Fortunately, the assailants were apprehended, and in court, they expressed deep remorse and hung their heads in shame, only because they got caught.
They struggle to justify their savage treatment of Alzorah.
Yeah, of course.
There is no justification for that shit.
Christians?
This incident may be indicative of a growing vigilante culture in certain regions of Indonesia, where a lack of faith in the police and judicial system has prompted individuals to take justice into their own hands.
This often results in excessive violence as mobs of citizens deliver swift and sometimes lethal retribution to minor offenders.
And this is what's gonna shut when the shit goes down, like when the shit really goes down and it's going to be like mob rule, you know.
Authorities will be overwhelmed and people are just gonna take matters into their own hands and it's going to be ugly.
Because anyone who hates anyone are going to go after those people they hate and it's just who's going to stop them?
Police?
No, I mean the police are going to be busy trying to fucking maintain some control, which is going to be impossible at a certain point.
The Mysterious Lynching of Hardell Haynes 00:02:20
It's going to be literally impossible for them to maintain control.
All right, what's this next one?
Number two here.
The mysterious lynching of Hardell Haynes.
Hardel Haynes is a second electrician featured on this list and he met a similar tragic end as Mohamed Alzara.
Residing in Guyana, Haines experienced a community where vigilante citizens often took matters into their own hands, capturing and assaulting thieves and other offenders.
In light of this, local law enforcement issued a directive that any criminal apprehended by citizens should be handed over to the police, ideally without any injuries.
Regrettably for Haynes, this directive was implemented after the police mishandled his case.
And in 2008, the severely injured Hardell Haynes was left in front of a police station in Guyana.
His wife, a special constable with the Ministry of Home Affairs, faced immense difficulty in discovering her husband's condition and whereabouts.
Initially, the police station did not answer her calls.
When she attempted to reach her husband on his cell phone, the man claiming to be a police officer instructed her to contact the station.
After finally getting through, she was met with rudeness and evasiveness.
They claimed they could not transport the gravely injured Haynes to a hospital due to a lack of available vehicles.
They also stated that they had not apprehended those who had abandoned him there because of insufficient manpower.
See what I mean?
At times, they even hung up on her.
And ultimately, Haynes was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A local newspaper later uncovered that the individual who had left Haines at the station was a retired senior police officer.
This may all appear to be a conspiracy.
It seems evident that the retired high-ranking officer assaulted Haynes while the other officers were concealing the truth, which we see quite often.
Yet, that is not the reality of the situation.
Not here.
In fact, Haines was simply riding his bicycle home late at night when he was unexpectedly attacked by a group of men who mistook him for a burglar, was unexpectedly attacked by a group of men who mistook him for a burglar who had taken their neighbor's television.
Vampire Hunts in Malawi 00:03:04
Sons of bitches.
Ultimately, two individuals from the mob faced charges of manslaughter.
Although the retired police officer was part of the mob, he was not a perpetrator of violence.
Rather, he was the one who advised the others to take Haines to the police.
Poor fella.
Hearts go out to his family.
Third one here.
The Vigilante Vampire Hunters of Malawi.
Malawi?
Malawai?
In 2017, Malawi faced significant issues with vampires, or more accurately, with individuals hunting them.
Numerous vigilante groups began to roam the nation on the lookout for supposed vampiric villains who consumed blood as part of their dark magic rituals.
There are dime a dozen, right?
Those whom the vigilantes suspected of being vampires were either stoned or stoned and burned to death.
The mobs even established roadblocks to filter out potential bloodsuckers.
By October 24th, these mobs had already taken the lives of nine individuals and over 200 people had been detained for their involvement in the vigilante actions.
The chaos escalated to such an extent that both the United Nations and the U.S. Embassy designated certain areas of the country as no-go zones.
This is not the first instance of vampire mob hysteria in Malawi.
The previous occurrence was in 2002.
The triggers for these vampire hunting episodes remain unclear, but some attribute it to the low educational standards in rural regions, coupled with the prevalent belief in witchcraft, you know, hoodoo and voodoo, throughout the country.
Others speculate that the recent vampire rumors may have actually originated from neighboring nations.
Next one here.
Number four, the WhatsApp vigilante attacks.
Social media rumors can be distressing, yet they typically do not culminate in tragedy or loss of life.
However, in 2017, Central India became a notable exception to this trend due to rumors spreading on WhatsApp.
The harmful message took the form of a viral video depicting a motorcycle rider kidnapping a child, warning of strangers abducting children in the vicinity.
In truth, the video was a segment from a Pakistani child safety awareness film, but that fact is irrelevant.
As panic escalated, furious crowds began to gather.
Mobs grew to over 500 individuals within just mere hours.
And that's when the violence truly erupted.
Laws and Loose Ends 00:08:22
In two separate mob assaults, seven individuals labeled as child abductors were brutally beaten to death.
Occasionally, police were present but merely observed the chaos.
And see, this is what I'm talking about.
One little accusation.
Emotions run wild.
People get killed.
That's why we have laws.
That's why we have a system to protect from this sort of thing.
The amount of innocent people in prisons, just in the United States alone, is astronomical.
Astronomical.
And anyone out there who thinks that, oh, well, they're in prison, they must deserve to be in prison.
Fuck no, man, you got the shit all wrong.
I mean, there have been multiple, multiple research papers published by universities.
I think most of you have heard that, like, one of these professors or whoever these professionals say every single day the average person breaks like three to seven laws, you know?
Like at least three felonious charges could be pressed against them on any given day because of the laws they break.
I mean, that's a fact.
Traffic laws.
I mean, people think they're saints, but they're not aware of the laws.
Apparently, because everybody breaks laws on a daily basis.
Crosswalk, you know, jaywalking.
It's just one instance.
I mean, there's a town here around me.
Well, that's pretty far away, I guess, at this point.
But you can't ride a bike across the main road.
You have to walk your bike across the main road.
And if you get caught riding that bike, you get a ticket.
I had a cop come up to me, stopped me on my bike.
I'm just trying to get to work.
Pulls me over on my bike.
Tells me I can't ride my bike across the road.
I have to get off and walk my bike across the road.
Luckily, he didn't give me a ticket.
I probably wasn't an asshole at that particular time.
Who knows?
But yeah, fucking retarded.
People break laws all fucking time.
All the time.
Anyway, at least one of these incidents was recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
Perhaps because someone believed that a campaign of terror ignited by a viral video should conclude with another viral video.
The seven victims of the mob were entirely innocent bystanders who found themselves in the wrong place, most unfortunate time.
There were no documented cases of child abductions in that area anyway.
And the police quickly initiated an investigation into the origins of the WhatsApp messages.
They soon discovered that combating social media and dispelling widely held rumors is a formidable challenge.
Just one month later, a similar mob, fueled by child abduction fears, killed two men whose only offense was stopping in their village to ask for directions.
That's how bad it is.
That's how bad it is.
One accusation.
You just don't like somebody, make an accusation?
Everybody hates that person now.
Unless people already know who that person is, of course.
But depending on the geographical locations, man, it can get pretty bad.
It can get pretty bad.
Alright, number five, I think.
Mob mistakes two innocent bysiders for terrorists.
In 2015, a splinter terrorist group linked to the Taliban known as Jamat Ular dispatched two suicide bombers to launch an attack in Lahore, Pakistan.
These bombers targeted two local churches in horrific assaults that resulted in the deaths of 17 individuals and left 80 others injured.
My God.
Understandably, the local community was engulfed in panic and anger following the explosions.
However, with the bombers deceased and no clear target for their rage, the younger members of the community formed a mob, seeking out individuals they believed were responsible for the tragedy.
The mob quickly located two innocent biasators whom they chose to blame.
They confronted garment worker Babar Noman and glass cutter Mohammed Salim, brutally beating them into unconsciousness and dragging their limp bodies through the streets.
Subsequently, the mob covered the men with wood sourced from a nearby shop.
Tragically, these innocent victims were set ablaze.
Their suffering met with cheers from hundreds of onlookers.
And you may question why the police failed to intervene during this horrific display of violence.
Surely, you know, surely they must have been present at the scene of the terrorist attacks, right?
They must have been there, knowing what's going on.
And indeed, yes, they were.
However, they found themselves so vastly outnumbered that they had no option but to stand by helplessly as the men were savagely murdered.
Again, my whole fucking point.
Overwhelmed.
The police are overwhelmed.
They can't do a goddamn thing.
And I am not a person who's like, fund the police, give police more money, give them military equipment.
I am not like that.
I think, I don't want to say defund the police, but I think the police should just have like a cap of what they can get, you know, financially throughout the year.
But like flooding the police with as much money as they want to buy like military gear is just insane to me.
Insane, because that's a stepping stone to a full-on military country, like, you know, run by the military.
Which we don't want.
We don't want that.
We don't want a junta here.
We don't want a military-controlled government.
We do not want that.
Unfortunately, at some point in this country's history, it will happen to an extreme degree.
That's why we have FEMA camps in every state.
Every state FEMA camps.
They say they're not FEMA camps, but the barbed wire is facing in.
Not out.
So if these are camps to like help people and like save them, why would you put barbed wire facing in?
You know, at the top of fences.
Like around prisons and things.
You would want facing out so people can't like come into their little FEMA camp and fuck shit up.
But instead, barbed wire is keeping people in FEMA camps.
Like prisoners.
So once again, Homeland Security is lying their asses off.
We all know this.
Anyway.
Next one here.
What is this?
Five, six, I think?
Six?
The tourist who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
That could have been me many times.
Bastion Judelette was a French bus driver and a devoted father.
In 2013, he embarked on a journey to Nozebe, an island close to Madagascar that he cherished and frequently visited.
He likely anticipated a serene getaway in a tropical paradise.
However, his vacation turned into a horrific ordeal when a throng of several hundred locals encircled him.
That would be fucking scary.
They believed Judilette was the pedophile responsible for the recent murder and mutilation of an 80-year-old local boy, and they sought retribution because their emotions were running high.
The chaotic moments of confusion and sheer terror that led to Jutilette's demise were captured on video.
On the video, you can hear the victim say, quote, I, I, I am the victim of a conspiracy.
But the crowd accuses and interrogates him.
But the crowd doesn't give a shit.
And they just toss accusations and further interrogate him.
He quotes, Judile quotes, I do not like children, absolutely not, and I don't like people who have sex with children.
Mass Lynching of Italian Americans 00:06:43
End quote.
I think, yeah, I mean, right on at this point, I think we can all agree with that sentiment.
And this statement may have sealed his fate.
As one of the vigilante then inquires, quote, so you don't like children?
End quote.
Isabri and Judilet replies, quote, I love children.
Yes, I have a little girl.
I'm telling the truth, strictly the truth.
End quote.
And this was apparently sufficient for the mob to reach their verdict.
They then dragged the unfortunate Judilette to a nearby beach where he was then stripped of his clothes, brutally beaten, and then burned alive.
He maintained his innocence until his very last breath.
And unfortunately, two other innocent men met the same tragic end.
The man who was found innocent nearly a century later.
In the year 1906, Ed Johnson, a young African-American man hailing from Chattanooga, Tennessee, found himself beneath a metal girder of the Wana Street Bridge, a noose tightly fastened around his neck.
Confronted by a mob of white men, women, and children, he proclaimed, quote, God bless you all.
I am innocent, end quote.
Moments later, they executed him by hanging and then mercilessly shot his lifeless body as it hung.
Savages Johnson had been condemned to death for allegedly raping a white woman.
Yet, doubts surrounded the case.
The victim was unable to accurately identify Johnson, and a member of the all-white jury had openly threatened him.
Consequently, the Supreme Court recognized that the verdict lacked credibility and issued a stay in Johnson's execution, allowing him to appeal what was evidently a breach of his right to a fair trial.
However, the citizens of Chattanooga disagreed and took justice into their own hands.
It would be an understatement to say that the Supreme Court was displeased with this flagrant violation of their orders.
Their anger led to the initiation of the first and only criminal court case in their history targeting the town's sheriff, law enforcement officials, and various mob participants.
Several individuals were found guilty of contempt of court.
And as for the unfortunate Ed Johnson, he became an innocent casualty of the area's troubling tendency to resolve crimes by swiftly accusing an African-American man, which happened far too often for far too long.
Nevertheless, his official exoneration did not occur right away.
It was not until the year 2000 that two white attorneys, after thoroughly investigating his case, successfully cleared his name in court.
And I give those two white attorneys a round of applause.
Good job.
Good job.
Far too late, but you know, good job.
Number eight?
Nine?
Number eight?
I'm losing count here.
The mass lynching of Italian Americans.
The narrative of the United States is marked by numerous instances of mob violence and lynchings.
Surprisingly, one of the most targeted groups in these hate crimes was an ethnic community that many today perceive solely as white, Italian immigrants.
In the late 19th century, however, they faced such intense animosity that the victims of one of the largest mass lynchings in American history were Italian Americans.
Believe it or not, people, Italian Americans.
In 1891, the police chief of New Orleans, David Hennessy, was murdered.
Nine Italian immigrants were apprehended and brought to trial for the crime.
The court acquitted them, however, which incited outrage among the citizens of New Orleans.
They were dead to rights.
They were like, hell no, these motherfuckers are guilty.
But they weren't.
The court acquitted them, which incited outrage among the citizens of New Orleans.
Shortly after the verdict, an enraged mob stormed the jail, seizing all nine men along with two other Italians who were detained for unrelated reasons.
Can you imagine?
Look.
All 11 men were horrifically lynched.
While the Los Angeles Chinese massacre of 1871 resulted in a higher death toll of 18 victims, the New Orleans incident was merely the beginning of a tragic chapter for the Italian-American community.
This violent episode unleashed a wave of animosity.
There were widespread arrests of Italians in the New Orleans region, along with attacks against them across the entire nation.
Most disturbingly, the media narrative aligned with the aggressors.
The New York Times, yeah, the New York Times, referred to the victims of the initial mob assault as, quote, sneaking and cowardly Sicilians, the descendants of bandits and assassins.
And New York Times, ladies and gentlemen.
In stark contrast, the publication portrayed the murderers as heroes, claiming that lynch law was the only course open to the people of New Orleans.
Future president Theodore Roosevelt deemed the lynchings, quote, a rather good thing, end quote.
Can you believe that shit?
Old Teddy.
Old Teddy.
People think he was like one of the best presidents.
There are no good presidents, people.
Trump, no.
Biden, no.
Bush?
Hell no.
Clinton?
Hell no.
Obama, hell no.
Another Bush hell now.
All of them just suck.
They suck each other's balls dry.
But perhaps most shocking of all, John Parker, who played a key role in organizing the mob, later ascended to the governorship of Louisiana, despite his blatant hatred towards Italians as recently as 1911.
And I think we see that today, with many of our congresswomen, congressmen, Senate, House, all of a man, like the Muslim thing popping off right now.
Not looking good.
Not looking good.
And I'm not against Muslims, but I am against Muslims taking over the United States.
Just as much as I am the Jewish people taking over the United States.
Which, some would argue, they've always been in control of the United States in some way or another.
Rumor's Deadly Grip 00:10:41
But who am I to say?
I'm just some random fucking asshole, alright?
With opinions.
Lots of opinions.
Lots of opinions.
Where are we?
It's the next one.
I think it's nine or eight or something.
I don't even know anymore.
I don't even know anymore.
I think it's eight.
Could be nine.
The rumor that took Bajan Ibrahimi's life.
Yeah, I got that name wrong.
So what?
Don't yell at me.
The tale of 44-year-old Bajan Ebrahimi serves as a stark illustration of how a malicious rumor can lead to devastating outcomes.
Ebrahimi resided in Bristol, UK, where those who knew him attested to his gentle and caring nature, particularly his passion for gardening.
I love gardening.
I had all these sunflowers this year, and the deer swooped in and ate all of them.
Ate all my all my sunflowers.
Ate all of them.
Motherfuckers.
However, there was one issue that troubled him.
Local children persistently vandalizing his hanging baskets.
Those little fucks.
In response, though, he formulated a strategy.
He began photographing the unruly kids as they wreaked havoc on his beloved garden, intending to present the images to the police as proof.
Tragically, before he could follow through, someone spotted him with his camera and reported to the authorities that Ebrahimi was photographing children.
Emotions.
The police brought Ebrahimi in for questioning and the local gossip mill quickly went into overdrive.
As he was taken away, several neighbors were already shouting, BAGO!
BAGO!
at him.
Although the officers soon recognized that he had committed no offense and released him, the environment he returned to was now very hostile against him.
Again, this is in the UK.
The entire neighborhood had come to believe that this unemployed, disabled man was a child predator.
Even worse, some neighbors were so enraged that they felt compelled to take physical action.
Just two days after the incident, Ebrahimi's 24-year-old neighbor, Lee James, assaulted him at night.
He brutally beat Ebrahimi into unconsciousness and, along with his accomplice, Stefan Norelli, dragged the defenseless man into the street.
And in a horrific act, they then poured alcohol all over Ebrahimi and set him afire.
A later investigation revealed that Ebrahimi had faced harassment previously, with both the local council and police consistently siding with his tormentors.
9.
A lot of you have heard this one, of course.
The lynching victim who became a symbol for the civil rights movement, Emmett Till.
This case is like crazy graphic and gruesome.
I'm not going to like cover the graphic and gruesome details in this because this is a short episode.
But at some point, because Emmett Till deserves his whole show.
A whole show to himself because that case is just gnarly.
At any rate, in 1955, a 14-year-old African-American boy named Emmett Till departed from his hometown of Chicago to spend the summer with his cousins in Mississippi.
Tragically, he never made it back home.
On August 4th, after a long day of cotton picking, Till chose to buy bubblegum at a local store run by Roy and Carolyn Bryant, a young white couple.
Carolyn was alone in the store when Till entered.
Now, the exact events that unfolded remain a mystery to this day, hence why, like, he deserves his own show, which I'll dig deep into at some point.
Carolyn Bryant alleged that Till flirted with her as part of a dare, but her account has inconsistencies.
Till's cousin reported hearing him whistle at Carolyn, but that is the extent of the details we have.
What is certain, however, is that Carolyn Bryant soon exited the store and approached her car where she kept a gun.
Coming from a relatively safe neighborhood in Chicago, Till was unaware of the peril he faced.
But his cousins, familiar with the local dangers, quickly took him away.
Sadly, danger was not far behind.
Just four days later, Roy Bryant and his half-brother showed up at the house where Till was staying.
They announced they were searching for, quote-unquote, the boy who did the talking and forced their way in at gunpoint and abducted Till into the night.
His lifeless body was discovered three days later, so severely mutilated that he could only be identified by the signet ring on his finger.
It's so fucked up because there are pictures of his body, open casket, and his family is looking at him.
It's rough.
It's rough.
His murderers were acquitted of all charges.
Shielded by Double Jeopardy, they celebrated with cigars and posed for photographs while bragging about the crime.
Till's mother was understandably outraged and wanted the world to witness the horror that had befallen her son.
And this is where she arranged for Till's remains to be sent back to Chicago, where she organized a large open coffin funeral for him.
And for four days, she displayed Till's mangled, mutilated, uninvolved body, drawing over 100,000 visitors, many of whom left in just tears.
And photographs were taken of this.
Fortunately, a significant number of them were equally committed to ensuring that no one else would endure the tragic fate of Emmett Till.
A lot of them, I can't say most.
A lot of them are white.
Because not all white people are evil.
Believe it or not.
Ultimately, the case resonated with countless individuals, leading Reverend Jesse Jackson, who is now a stick figure of what he once was, to later refer to it as the Big Bang of the Civil Rights Movement.
And I. He looks crazy today, man.
It's like that cartoon with the football head kid, the hell Rugrats.
I mean, that's when I look at Reverend Jesse Jackson these days.
He is so thin, but his head is so huge.
Maybe that's just because he might have a normal head and he's just so fucking skinny that it makes his head look like a blimp.
I don't know.
I don't know, but he looks weird.
I know, he must be like 100 years old or something.
He's old.
I don't know.
He's fucking old.
Um, was that nine?
No, this must be ten.
Must be ten.
This must be.
Last one: Brazil's vigilante epidemic.
In Brazil, punch mobs have become so prevalent that they are referred to as an epidemic.
A report from The Guardian reveals that these mobs were responsible for the deaths of 173 individuals in just 2016 alone.
It's nuts too, like the gangs down there that run the show.
I mean, up to 300 people are murdered or go missing every month.
Every month.
Fucking nuts.
The reasons behind these killings ranged from accusations of child assault to minor offenses like stealing a bicycle or even just a pair of sandals.
The only consistent factor is that a mere accusation suffices for a crowd to assume the roles of judge, jury, and executioner.
Alarmingly, around 57% of Brazilians believe that a good criminal is a dead criminal.
Just scary.
In poorer neighborhoods, Graffiti often proclaims, quote, you steal, you die, end quote.
And man, I don't like thieves.
I think thieves are some of the worst human beings that are out there.
Thieves, burglars, not a banks.
Go rob banks all you want, but don't rob individual, like, private homes.
Well, poor people, especially who are just trying to get by, who are barely scraping by.
You know what I mean?
Leave them.
Leave the people alone.
Leave Brittany alone.
This reactive mindset significantly increases the likelihood that innocent bystanders fall victim to these mobs.
Researchers have examined Brazil's inclination towards widespread vigilante justice and have come to some crazy conclusions.
But this phenomenon seems to stem from the extremely challenging times the country is currently facing, which has faced for quite some time.
But in just a few years, in a time frame of just a few years, Brazil has experienced the impeachment of a president.
You know, this is back when the Zika virus was going around, which most likely government, just like Ko.
Oh, it I had to break it up, otherwise, you know what happens.
The largest corruption scandal in its history.
And to top it all off, the worst economic recession in 80 years.
Caesar or Cesar, is this Caesar?
Cesar?
Cesar Barreria?
Cesar Barrera?
Cesar Barrera, director of the Violent Studies Lab at the University of Sierra, notes that the fear and despair generated by these events create a breeding ground for vigilante mobs.
Quote, a lynching is a communal act in response to a sense of impotence.
It's a hunt for an infection inside a social group.
End quote.
Yeah, it is.
That's exactly what it is.
Emotions.
In Brazil, the absence of vigilante justice in the penal code does not hinder these mobs.
It's almost a free game.
So consequently, there is no official data on this issue, and the government does not monitor mob violence as a widespread occurrence.
It's usually outside publications, newspapers, and journalists, independent journalists who figure these things out and report on them.
Take Care of Yourselves 00:03:45
And then they risk their lives doing so.
And most fear for their lives.
And a lot die for speaking out against this stuff.
It's kind of scary.
But anywho, like I said earlier at the beginning, this is just going to be a short show.
Cricket's not here to give me feedback and all that good stuff.
So I'm left to my own devices.
And it's probably extremely boring just hearing me rattle on about things.
Opinions.
Shit talking.
Anywho, it's Sunday.
I've got chickens to take care of.
Girlfriend and I are about to juice a bunch of stuff.
The boys are here.
We're going to be playing some video games.
You know, doing family things.
Cricket's not here, and I don't want to wait another week.
Because you guys have to wait another week.
I don't, I hate doing it.
I want one show out every week.
But man, good God, the winters.
I mean, the summers, it gets overwhelming.
Like, I have things to do.
Kayaking.
Which I haven't done in a while because I've been so fucking busy.
So wore out.
Just trying to get shit done.
Barely scraping by.
I had to buy brand new tires.
I bought two sets.
$2,000.
You know.
All out of my own pocket, ladies and gentlemen.
I don't make a dime off this show.
I do not make a dime.
It's crazy.
And I've been doing it for three years.
And no ads.
No sponsorships.
Just straight up out of pocket.
So if you guys would like to help me out, Patreon and there's another one.
Ko-Fi.
So if you guys are super cool and want to help me out, buy me a coffee, whatever, five bucks, five dollars.
You can look down below in the link in the description here.
Down in the comment section or whatever.
And I have, you know, a link.
Many links.
Multiple links.
So if you guys want, you don't have to.
I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
It would be really cool.
I would greatly appreciate it.
So, till next time, ladies and gentlemen, take care of yourselves and take care of each other.
It's family that matters.
We live in a community.
Help each other out.
We can do much better.
We are.
The people are much better than the government, first off.
But within the community, there are good people, there are bad people.
People who only care for themselves and people who care about everybody.
And those people are what matter because without helping out everybody, what are we?
We're nothing.
We're useless.
We're nobodies.
Anyway, take care of yourselves.
Take care of one another.
I want you to get ready.
I am doing hot joy in this different child of another podcast running wild in the dreams of the way you're doing another influence.
We know we have this love to have.
I want all of you to get up out of your chairs.
I want you to get up right now and go to the window and kick your head out yellow.
I was banging hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore.
You've got to say, I'm a human being.
God damn it!
