Because I'm doing a terrible job.

You know, I've got to be honest.
I took my spoon out and took some Evo because it really helps bring my brain to present moment.

The three scientists who discovered it won the Nobel Prize in 1996.
We actually started manufacturing it out of our lab here in Houston in 1991, a full five years before they won the Nobel Prize.
This molecule is absolutely amazing.
They absolutely deserve the Nobel Prize.
The molecule performs as well or better than the current best material in almost every application.
So it makes better inks, better batteries, better tires, better photocells, all of these kind of industrial applications that might make you nervous since we're talking about a health supplement.
The story actually gets a little bit worse.
First, this one shape on the exterior of this ESS-60 molecule is reminiscent of benzene.
So it has the same shape and composition of benzene.
Benzene is ubiquitous.
We don't have modern society without benzene.
If you just kind of glance around, everything that's plastic, including this model in my hand, goes away because the foundational molecule is benzene.
Also, much of the medications that we use have a foundational molecule of benzene, including aspirin, detergent.
So absolutely necessary and ubiquitous in our society.
When benzene is on its own, it's known to be toxic and known to be carcinogenic.
So they assumed this ESS-60 molecule would be toxic.
They put it in a toxicity study.
Instead of being toxic, the test subjects that they gave it to, in this case it was Wistar rats, lived 90% longer than the control group.
So the single longest longevity experimental result on mammals in history, and this is peer-reviewed published research, is because of this molecule dissolved in olive oil, really the C-60.

If you'll indulge me, I'll get a little bit geeky and then I have a pretty good analogy.
Before we go there, I'm actually on the live rumble.

So Luna, now she has her answer.
And she actually said, loved Patty on Leak Project the other day.
So I'm glad that she's found us over here.
So yeah, what I'm going to share is called the BOSS theory.
So it's the buffering oxidative stress system.
And we know from peer-reviewed published research, I'm gonna, like I said, I'm gonna get a little bit geeky and then I'm gonna have a kind of a fun analogy to wrap it all up.
So we know from peer-reviewed published research that this ESS-60 molecule gets into the And we'll talk about that here in a second.
We also know from way back in the 90s when it was discovered that it can hold up to six negatively charged particles on the exterior of this soccer ball cage.
And what that means is, well, let's do a little refresher.
the mitochondria is the powerhouse of every cell, and every cell in your body has between 50 and 5,000 mitochondria, except for your blood cells, which have zero, and your brain and neurons, which have 2 million.
That's how much energy our nervous system uses relative to our other systems, which is Like every power source you're familiar with, there's a negative byproduct.
In the case of, like, so your car going down the road has exhaust, a power plant has a smokestack with smoke coming out of it.
In the case of mitochondria, it's reactive oxygen species.
These are negatively and positively charged particles.
The way I describe them is they're like little bumper cars running around and rusting everything they bump into or causing oxidative stress, causing oxidative damage.
To prevent that from happening, mitochondria have internal to them two key antibodies.
Now, those are doing their job.
They're managing those reactive oxygen species, but what happens when our mitochondria get stressed?
You can do this by a tough workout or smoking or drinking or exposure to radiation or a tough email, a tough conversation with a loved one can stress that mitochondria and cause it to produce more reactive oxygen species than is normal.
And that's when the ESS-60 molecule comes in because normally those extra reactive oxygen species would run around like little bumper cars causing a bunch of damage.
Now, the presence of the ESS60 molecule, it can hold on to those negatively charged particles, preventing them from doing any damage until that mitochondria can replenish the glutathione and the melatonin, and they can be managed properly.
So I have a fun little analogy.
That's the science part.
Here's the fun little analogy.
And I love the joke.
Like all good biological analogies, it starts with the end of Mardi Gras.
It's the end of Mardi Gras, and you have these drunk reactive oxygen species running around, causing that rusting oxidative stress, smashing windows, painting cars, whatever.
And you have the New Orleans Police Department, the glutathione and melatonin, come in, handcuff themselves to those reactive oxygen species, and get them off of Bourbon Street.
But what do the New Orleans Police Department do when they're overwhelmed?
They take those reactive oxygen species and they stick them in a paddy wagon.
They attach them to the exterior of this ESS-60 molecule so they can't do any damage.
And then when the glutathione is replenished, when the melatonin is replenished, they can handcuff themselves to those reactive oxygen species and get them off of Bourbon Street.
And that's why we say the ESS-60 molecule is the boss.
And I just want you to imagine for one second.
I mean, every cell in your body, between 50 and 5,000 mitochondria in each cell, except for your neurons, which have 2 million.
If you reduce the negative impact of stressed mitochondria in every cell at the subcellular level in your body, you are going to get...
And Patty has already kind of gone over a number of those.
That is, I'm the chief scientist.
My job is to figure out why do we think these positive testimonials are happening?
It's because we're reducing the negative impact of stressed mitochondria.
