	There's protesting going on in the streets outside.

	Very weird stuff that's going on.
	Some stories with the Big Beautiful bill.
	We'll get into that.
	Trump says Israel agrees to conditions of 60-day ceasefire as proposal.
	Leads heads to Hamas.
	And then Trump administration halts some weapon shipments to Ukraine to put America's interests first.
	Tom's some thoughts on that as well as Adam.
	Next thing we have CNN's Harry Enton says Trump is more beloved among Republicans than any other GOP president in modern times.
	Then in the Big Beautiful bill, people are asking what's in it.
	We'll talk about that.
	Three Republican senators voted against it.
	U.S. Senate overwhelmingly rejects plan to stop states regulating AI.
	That is a very big story.
	The 10-year marker they put on there.
	It's almost like a patent law they put on there that some people are not supportive of.
	I have my own opinions on that as well.
	Mamdani on Trump's deportation threat.
	We want to accept this intimidation.

	All right, let's get right into it.
	What is in Donald Trump's giant tax cutting bill?
	Rob, I think you have a video on this.

	All right, America.
	Let's talk one big, beautiful bill.
	We've heard you loud and clear.
	With a bill this big and this beautiful, it can be hard to understand exactly what's in it.
	So let's go through some of the most important pieces of the bill.
	This bill modernizes and overhauls our nation's air traffic control system so you feel safer when you are flying.
	It gives a 15% tax cut to working families like yours, amounting to $5,000 per year.
	This bill increases the child tax credit for more than 40 million American families, ends taxes on tips, cuts taxes for overtime workers like law enforcement officers, slashes taxes on social security for our seniors.
	And that's just the start.
	We must pass this big, beautiful bill and usher in a new golden age for all Americans.
	Okay, so that's that.
	President Trump's $4.5 trillion tax bill passed by the Senate Tuesday with a tiebreaking vote by Vice President JD Vance, which extends the 2017 tax cuts and eliminates taxes on tips overtime.
	But the CBO estimates it'll add $3.3 trillion to the national debt by 2034 with the Committee for a Reasonable Federal Budgeting Budget projecting a 130% debt to GDP ratio.
	The bill, criticized for its regressive impact, reduces after-tax incomes by 2.3% or $560 for the poorest, 20% while increasing incomes by 2.1% or $32,000 for the top 1%.
	Tom, what do you see in this bill that just passed?
	So I see a couple things here.
	And I like to get past the numbers in the headlines and get to what is really the numbers in the wallets.
	So they were saying, oh, it's going to reduce after-tax income by 2.3% or $560 for the poorest.
	Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
	$560 a year is $47 a month, $46 a month.
	Okay.
	So that's $10 a week.
	Okay.
	Well, a poor person, you know, $10 is $10, but it's not like you're taking $3,000, $4,000 off of it, number one.
	Number two, the president is betting on growth and putting things in.
	So let me explain how this works.
	If you've ever been working for a business, it could be a small business or be a big business.
	Around November, Pat, you do this.
	You tell people to get together, hey, we need to do the budgets for next year.
	And it's not a wish list.
	It's a fact-based analysis of what do you need in your department to do this, this, and this so that we can meet our 15% growth.
	Okay, fine.
	Well, guess what?
	The president is betting he's going to get growth.
	Well, same way that a business owner would say, okay, Vinny, I'll let you hire one more person in your department because we're hiring it, assuming we're going to get about 15% growth next year.
	So we're going to be able to cover that.
	And that person is going to help us with that growth.
	It's a very simple thing.
	So the president is betting on growth.
	That's what's in here.
	And he's keeping his promise to eliminate taxes and tips on overtime.
	That will help people working in the hospitality industry.
	He's extending the tax cuts.
	He's keeping that promise.
	And how can I understand how the mainstream media can say, oh, we're so worried about Newark Airport.
	It's so unsafe.
	We're limiting flights.
	Do you remember Easter weekend, Pat?
	In Newark airport.
	Remember, they were saying, oh my gosh, we may have to stop half of Newark airport.
	Everybody's traveling Good Friday, especially here in the Northeast, where there's so many Catholic people.
	Oh my gosh, air traffic control.
	What a problem.
	And now he comes out.
	One of the things in the big, beautiful bill is to overhaul air traffic control.
	Suddenly, he's spending us into the poorhouse, right?
	Wrong.
	Look, I understand the concerns people have about the spending, especially the healthcare spending.
	But you have to remember, what's in these talk about the Medicare cuts, but the Medicaid and excuse me, Medicaid cuts, but the Medicaid restrictions come handcuffed to you got to work 20 hours a week.
	Remember that?
	We talked about this almost immediately after the inauguration when he said, hey, Medicaid changes are going to come with the requirement to work a little bit.
	And we all talked about it on this podcast.
	I'll say, well, wait a minute.
	That's not 40 hours a week.
	It's not 50 hours a week.
	Can you figure out how to work 10 hours a week, 40 hours a month, and then we'll figure out something on Medicaid?
	So I see both sides of it.
	If the growth doesn't come true and the Medicaid spending just happens and they're raising the debt ceiling, then yes, it's going to add to debt.
	But the president is saying, just like he said on the tariffs, you got to trust me.
	And now we've got tens of billions of dollars of tariff revenue.
	He's betting on growth.
	Here's a clip I want you to watch that has to do with the bill.
	Go for it, Rob.
	What we are saying is that if you are able-bodied and working age, you need to be either working or seeking work in order to receive Medicaid.
	That is common sense.
	In other words, if you're a 32-year-old guy, you cannot sit on your couch and smoke weed all day and expect taxpayers to fit your Medicaid bills.
	That's wrong.
	That's something the majority of Americans agree with Republicans on.
	We're also saying that if you're an illegal alien and you shouldn't be in this country to begin with, you should be deported.
	You shouldn't be getting taxpayer subsidized Medicaid.
	That's what we're looking at.
	We're looking at expanding eligibility checks so that whenever somebody shouldn't be on Medicaid anymore, we take them off.
	These are the common sense solutions that we're putting into this big beautiful bill.
	And these are the things that Democrats are against.
	Very common sense.
	Vinny, your thoughts on that.
	Yeah, well, well, I mean, listen, anytime the Democrats are on MSNBC, CNN, and they're calling it the big bad bill.
	That's what they're saying.
	And they want people to be melting down over it.
	They want the media to be going nuts because, you know, all I kept saying on social media was cutting Medicaid, Tom, cutting Medicaid.
	No more free stuff.
	Yeah, it's weird.
	And by the way, these are the three cuts.
	So, one, like he said, illegal immigrants don't get free health care on our dime.
	That's it.
	Only citizens qualify.
	Guess what?
	That should already be the rule.
	All right.
	And if you're mad about this, you're either stupid or you're lying to yourself.
	Number two, it eliminates taxpayer bailouts for unpaid hospital bills, aka bad debt.
	So right now, if someone with Medicaid skips out on their bill, guess what we have to do as American citizens?
	We pay 65% of it.
	That means hospitals jack up the prices on purpose, knowing that we, the taxpayer, are going to foot the tab.
	And then the cut three, the third cut that the Democrats are losing their mind, are saying, excuse me, hospitals can't change Medicare or Medicaid can't charge them more than they charge private insurance or cash customers.
	Simple and fair, which saves us $148 billion.
	And just from those three, guess how much we're saving a year?
	$200 billion.
	Okay, but the Democrats are all emotional and they keep feeding us all these headlines.
	You know what it is, too, Tom?
	It's the same thing that they did with the border bill.
	Remember the border bill?
	They're like, we'll close the border, but the Republicans are stopping us.
	Yeah, because you guys snuck in $60 billion to Ukraine, $14 billion to Israel, and $4 billion to Taiwan.
	It's the big, beautiful bill.
	Yeah, the Inflation Reduction Act that was the War Increase Act and the Immigration Increase Act.
	Yeah, exactly.
	So the big, beautiful bill, not the big, bad bill, puts America first, and that's why they hate it.
	Anything that's helping us, Pat, the Democrats are going to fight it.
	Peter, your thoughts.
	So I feel like we lose a lot of sight during these bills, conversations of one key fact, that the government will not save you.
	If you're relying on the bill or what's going to happen, are they going to pass this?
	Are they going to pass that?
	You're losing the big picture, which is you got to do it yourself.
	I don't know anybody that's rich, maybe aside Elon Musk and government subsidies, who's like, how'd you get rich, bro?
	Dude, the government got me.
	Straight up, government.
	It's all that.
	Obama hooked me up, Bush hooked me up, then Trump.
	Zero people who are successful give credit to the government.
	It comes down to four things.
	Work, earn, save, and invest.
	And if you do those four things, you're going to be okay.
	So a lot of people are excited about the extension of the 2017 tax cuts that are going to expire.
	Corporate tax rates, I believe, are going to stay at 21%.
	That's great.
	PBD always tells that story about the Trump tax cuts in 2017, 2018 when you gave, what was it, like bonuses for every year they were there, month they were there.
	Child tax credit, help families, no tax on tips, stop funding immigrants.
	And then, you know, critics will say, well, what about the Medicaid?
	What about this?
	What about that?
	If you're working and you're earning, you're going to get taken care of.
	So the biggest concern that I have and a lot of people have is, is this actually going to add $3 trillion to the deficit or not?
	I guess we'll see if dynamic growth happens or if we're actually going to go deeper into debt.
	Yeah, and all of that is time will tell, right?
	Time will tell on what's going to happen with this bill here.
	The reality of it is this.
	This is the part where I'm not very comfortable with.
	One time I was having a big debate with a guy's two, very close friend of mine.
	The debate was, if the government is giving you any kind of entitlement programs, welfare, Section 8, whatever it is they're giving you as a handout, unemployment checks that they were given during Obama for almost 24 months, should the government have the right to drug test you?
	He says, no.
	So really?
	No.
	Why not?
	Well, you can't drug test, and that's America's free.
	I said, no, no.
	We're giving you free money from taxpayers.
	Us.
	From workers.
	Workers are paying you the money.
	We almost have to replace the word taxpayers to the American people.
	We got to stop saying the government's paying you.
	The government's paying you.
	No, no.
	The American people are paying you.
	So American people, you got kids.
	If a kid after 18 years old lives in your house and does nothing for you in return, rent-free, no chores, doesn't clean the bed, you're either a terrible parent or your kid's a freeloader.
	No parent's going to sit there and be okay with that.
	If you are, you're raising somebody that's going to have those habits grow into wanting the government to take care of them and American people to take care of them.
	I am very comfortable with the 20 hours per week.
	I am very comfortable with any of that stuff.
	I would even add drug tests and all the other things to it.
	If you're not taking care of yourself and your life and your health, why should American people pay you anything?
	Nothing.
	You make better decisions in your life.
	You make better decisions in your life.
	You know, you have a higher likelihood of good things happening to you.
	But Tom, I'm going to give you the last word here on this topic before we, because I feel like you want to say something.
	No, I said, and let's remember that Medicaid is a state problem, and the federal government is cleaning up the mess of the state.
	And let me give you one example.
	Our good friend Gavin Newsom.
	And I meant, I wish he could come and sit right here.
	I'd love for him to come sit right here and talk about this and say, look, dude, you took Medicaid in California.
	And the first thing you did is you took the current budget, which couldn't be expanded because you only had so much money in the bucket.
	Then you said, more of you can get Medicaid.
	More of you that just got here, you know, illegal aliens, you can get Medicaid.
	And then secretly, he and the state assembly, remember they got together and they spent the money on other things?
	And then he went crying to the federal government, oh, my California Medicaid bucket is empty.
	Well, of course it's empty.
	You said that more people could put their ladle in the bucket, and then you spent, then you drilled a hole in the bottle of bucket and drained it off to use other things.
	I'd love to understand legislatively what was going on.
	I know he's trying to run the state, but I disagree with this.
	And I wish he would come on and talk about things like this.
	But the number one thing I think everybody needs to remember is Medicaid is a state problem that the government is having to clean up.
	Let me read one part of the bill that is causing some challenges for some people, and I'm kind of in agreement with them.
	U.S. Senate overwhelmingly rejects plan to stop states regulating AI.
	It's Financial Times.
	They voted 99 to 1 on Tuesday morning to reject a 10-year ban on states regulating AI models, removing the provisions from President Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, with Senator Marshall Blackburn stating it was an honor to lead this fight until Congress passes federal legislation like my No Fakes Act and the Kids Online Safety Act.
	We cannot remove those projections.
	And this is a proposal backed by lobbies from Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta OpenAI, Sam Altman, Trump's AI team, David Sachs, and others, aimed to prevent inconsistent state rules, but faced by partisan opposition over concerns about stifling oversight of AI social and economic impact.
	Republican Senator Thomas Tome Tillis, the sole dissenter planning to retire, had told the Financial Times the provision was necessary to keep the U.S. the number one country in the world for innovation.
	Tom, your thoughts on the story here.
	Well, so you basically, there's a couple things here.
	If every state made a different test for the number of miles per gallon of a car, then that sticker on the window when you go to buy a car would be madness.
	California, you know what I mean?
	Like if they all made different standards.
	So that's the argument the government is making.
	The argument that people like me are making for the states is, wait a minute, what about when DeSantis said, no, we're not going to do trans stuff in our schools, and we don't want a federal mandate on that.
	We know our people locally.
	No, I am not going to close all the beaches.
	I got people saying that UV is really good for killing bacteria and viruses.
	So why can't people be at the beaches in Florida during COVID?
	No, I'm not going to get behind that.
	That's the tension we have here.
	What worries me is the proposal was backed by lobbyists.
	That scares the hell out of me.
	And then look who's lobbying?
	Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI.
	So guess what?
	If all of those are lobbying the Senate, they only need to get 100 people together and get 51 of them to go their way.
	Make sense?
	If it's in the hands of the states, all of those companies have to work with 50 different states, 50 different governors, and they don't want that.
	And they're claiming, oh, it's going to be like miles per gallon.
	The sticker in the car would be madness.
	No, I get what they're saying.
	And trust me, I get from their perspective because it lowers the speed of growth and innovation.
	When we were in the Department of Insurance, we didn't just deal with the federal government on getting one license.
	We had to get a license in 50 states.
	50 little governments.
	And we dealt with every single one of the states.
	And trust me, it was super annoying.
	So I fully get that part.
	But for me, if I'm a state, I want to be able to govern and create certain laws with AI that may be different than somebody else's to be able to attract better talent or to say, no, I'm not okay with you doing that.
	Is this DeSantis Clip talking about the same issue?
	Yes, this is DeSantis late last month, late June, where he discusses why he was not in favor of the AI provisions in the Big Beautiful bill.
	Go for it.
	Go for it.
	Here's the sentence.
	Raises the issue of this whole artificial intelligence.
	You know, they're talking about in Washington banning states from being able to regulate it at all for the next 10 years.
	And as governor, I want to be able to provide protections for you working with the legislature if that's warranted.
	This stuff is progressing so quickly, but you will absolutely get to a point where they can just take you, they can put words in your mouth and do a video, and you're basically saying something that's the opposite of what you actually believe.
	And they can make you do, they can have you depict you doing awful things.
	That's not the world that we want to live in.
	And so I think that the states need to be able to retain their ability to handle the emerging AI issues.
	So this is a really significant positive right there.
	I'm with it because, again, if a state wants to be a little more liberal, guess what they do?
	They attract the people that want to have their AIs being done there.
	If somebody wants to be a little bit more aggressive, a little bit more conservative, then you may say that may not be a place for me.

	It's pretty sexual.
	I've seen Taylor Swift sitting on Trump's lap.
	We've seen these deep fakes, as misinformation is disinformation.
	We're getting to the point where we are not going to even know what's real and what's not real.
	They're talking about some of the highest earning women online are not even real women.
	They're AI bots.
	So this might not be the number one issue right now, but so this might not be the number one issue right now.
	But if things turn out to go this way, we're going to circle back in five years and see if this turned out to be true.
	And by the way, I don't even think that's what it is, though.
	I don't think they're worried about the deep fakes.
	I think they're worried about other type of regulation that they go above and beyond.
	Like, let's just say Palantir is trying to do something.
	They want to be able to say, as long as the federal government says it's okay, it's okay.
	And Florida wants to be able to say, no, no, we're not doing that in our state.
	We're not going to be doing this in our state.
	I think it's a little bit more than that.

	This was with Peter Thiel sitting down with Ross Duthat, and he's talking about the Antichrist and how the Antichrist could be ushered in through AI because he was warning this guy about it.
	By the way, Peter Thiel looks kind of odd, but listen to the, look at how awkward he turns, Pat, once he mentions the Antichrist and him basically being able to usher him in if he's really going there.

	Like, wouldn't the Antichrist be like, great, you know, we're not going to have any more technological progress.

	In Arizona, Republicans and Democrats were worried about it because in Arizona, it was on their front lawns.
	So what he's talking about is peace and safetyism has been something that the voter and the citizen has wanted for 50 years or more.
	Look at how Germany agreed to things at the end of World War II because the Germans that were still alive in villages that weren't even connected to the Nazis, they just wanted it to stop so it could get back.
	And so they agreed to things, including, you know, they didn't really protest and understand what was going on with the split of Germany that was happening.
	And so they went with peace and safety.
	So what he's talking about is very accurate.
	People look for peace and safety, and the Antichrist will come offering peace and safety.
	Now, I disagree.
	I do not think AI is going to hasten the arrival of the Antichrist.
	The sin of man will hasten the arrival of the Antichrist and hasten the return of the real Christ, Jesus Christ.
	However, along the way, the deception will be great.
	And I think that's the point he's trying to get to.
	But the other gentleman was making, I think, was a good and fair point.
	Aren't every advanced tool, you know, like if you go look at all of the technological tools, you look at the DVD, you look at video games, you look at things that were going on, you look at the multi-camera angles that were on DVD.

	Trump says Israel agrees to conditions of 60-day ceasefire as proposal hats to Hamas.
	President Trump revealed on Tuesday that Israel has agreed to the conditions of the 60-day ceasefire with Hamas.
	My representative has, is this the one, Rob, if you have the case?
	representative had a long and productive meeting with Israel's Israelis today on Gaza.
	Israel has agreed to the 60 days and the conditions during which time we will work with all parties to end the war.
	The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring peace, will deliver this final proposal.
	I hope for the good of the Middle East that Hamas takes this deal because it will not get better.
	It will only get worse.

	Adam, your thoughts on this?
	Well, Trump's trying to run the table and work out all these deals that he's been working on.
	It first started with India and Pakistan a couple weeks ago.
	We see that the ceasefire between Iran and Israel is holding and now he's moving on to Gaza and then hopefully he can run the table on Russia and Ukraine.
	But Trump is a deal maker and he's trying to cut a deal.
	So what's happening here, in my opinion, there's a proposal, there's conditions.
	And what's the title of the article that Israel has agreed to the conditions, is it not?
	So Israel has agreed.
	Now, Israel, in my opinion, they have two stipulations.
	Number one, can we get our hostages back?
	You know, those people that you just kind of like ran up on and stole and hijacked and killed a lot of people, you know, that whole thing.
	And then number two, this is kind of important.
	Yeah, stop terrorizing us.
	We'd like that.
	We'd like to just live in peace and prosperity and not have missiles from Houthis and Hezbollah and Hamas and Islamic Jihad and all the terror crew out there just terrorizing people because, you know, that's what terrorists do.
	They terrorize.
	Meanwhile, we're literally negotiating with terrorists.
	And the whole phrase about not negotiating with terrorists.
	And then Hamas comes back.
	And what did Trump say that they basically gave an unacceptable counter offer?
	So the story kind of goes like, all right, yeah, we'll give you the hostages back.
	Some are going to be dead.
	Sorry about that.
	But the second part, the whole like stopping jihad, yeah, we can't do that.
	Like, Diddy, we can't stop, won't stop.
	That's just kind of what we do.
	It's kind of in our charter that you can't live.
	So in my opinion, this is one big poker game.
	And, you know, you talked about the word tilt the other day, Pat.
	You know, when you're throwing good money after bad money.

	Well, in poker or in cards, it's all about who has the leverage.
	Now, Hamas using a Trump quote, Hamas don't got the cards.

	So meanwhile, Israel has a full house.
	They got three kings, two queens.
	They just eliminated all the terror proxies surrounding them.
	With the help of America, eliminated Iran's nuclear capabilities.
	And Hamas is basically holding a pair of twos and maybe an ace up their sleeve, which whatever that is, which doesn't exist, they're like, yeah, we're going to negotiate here.
	If this were a real negotiation, like an actual business negotiation, Israel would just run over Gaza and Hamas and just say, better luck next time.
	But they're trying to sort of play the geopolitical nice guy without wiping out this entire community.
	We'll see what happens.
	How do you sit there and say, second request is dismantling Hamas?
	How do you?
	What does it mean to dismantle Hamas?
	What does that ask mean?
	How does a Hamas organization get dismantled?
	So I think there's really only one angle I can think of, and it's cutting off all of their money and supply.
	But the money and supply has always flown black market for these guys.
	I mean, the whole, I mean, Adam said it very well.
	Their charter is, you shall not live.
	How do you dismantle that charter when that is at the core of their belief in existence?
	And if you cut off their arms supply and you cut off their dark dollars that are coming through Iran and others, then, okay, you still have a group of people who believe in their heart in the charter, even if you tear up the charter as a piece of paper.
	So dismantling Hamas, I think, really means disrupting and disorganizing where they have their bases and where they're getting their money.
	I think that's probably the angle, because unless you go out and systematically figure out how to kill each and every Hamas and then wait for their 13-year-old sons to grow up and get worse, right?
	Which is what happens, is what happened with Al-Qaeda.
	You know, I don't know how you dismantle it.
	I only know how you dismantle, you disrupt the hell out of it for now.
	It says, number one, disarm, give up all weapons, including rockets, guns, and other military capabilities.
	You think Hamas is going to do that?
	No.
	Number two, disband its military wing, dissolve the Izadin al-Qassam bridges, the armed wing of Hamas.
	And their money.
	Yeah.
	Number three, relinquish political and administrative control, step down from governing Gaza, potentially handing over control to other authority like the Palestinian Authority or international body.
	Four, end all hostility, cease planning, supporting, or carrying out attacks against Israel permanently.
	And five, accept Israel's right to exist a broader long-term.
	I mean, they're not going to do that.
	So Vinny, what do you think about this ceasefire?
	I don't know.
	I know Adam mentioned something about, you know, because Israel could just go over and get rid of everybody if they wanted to.

	I saw a video of just what Gaza, what Rafah looks like in Gaza on the Gaza Strip.
	And this is a five-month-old video.
	This is five months ago.
	I mean, I understand they were going after Hamas and they were hiding in buildings and stuff, but this looks like Hamas was literally everywhere.
	There's going to be another shot of overhead.
	My question is, like, where is Hamas?

	This is one section of Gaza where it's decimated.
	I understand they're talking about a ceasefire, but where's Hamas here?
	They're what's known as living in the tunnels.

	Instead of taking the billions of dollars that the UN and all the other people.

	This is wiping out the entire city.
	And Israel, I think, is technologically advanced.
	They could go in those tunnels, put your boots on the ground, and go get these guys and go get them.

	You're negotiating with terrorists.

	So if Israel is going to do that, go finish it.

	So if you look at the title of his article, what two countries are negotiating with Israel-United States?
	It's Egypt and drumroll Qatar.
	So Egypt, in my opinion, a lot of the Arab states actually don't actually care about the Palestinians.

	There's more people in the West, the Greta Thunbergs of the world, the woke mobs of the world, even the Candace's of the world, that care way more about what's going on in Gaza than the actual neighbors.
	Because have you ever seen the fence in between Egypt and Gaza?

	Egypt don't want these people.

	Lebanon is taking in zero people.
	Why is that?
	But why is Qatar involved?

	He noted the party's budget is $1 million to $3 million annually.

	While Musk spent over $250 million in 2024 in his pact to support President Trump, he added, once the capital is there, the doors get blown wide open.
	He emphasized the Libertarian Party's established ballot access in nearly every state, stating that there's no way independent or new party can actually do this.

	It is taking away the titles that were incorrectly given to men.
	It has stated that it will not have anything on its website other than the fact that they are complying with Title IX.

	Okay, and this is from Politico.
	So, what do they mean they want more action when it comes down to housing?
	So, a University of California Irvine School of Social Ecology poll found that 70% of registered California voters considered the state's housing shortage a major funding priority, with 33% of likely voters naming housing as their top issue, nearly twice as many as school of uh twice as many as those prioritizing health care.
	Per the survey shared with Politico, John Gould, the dean of the School of Social Ecology, stated the lack of affordability of housing as the state continues to vex most Californians, and they don't feel like it's being addressed.
	The poll conducted before Governor Newsom and state lawmakers approved a plan to accelerate housing construction by exempting most urban projects from environmental reviews, reflect ongoing voter frustration with California's affordability crisis, which has worsened homelessness and driven residents to more affordable Sunbelt states.
	Tom, thoughts on the story.
	Do you know how many houses the state of California believes it needs to build?
	And by the way, this is a correct analysis they've done.
	And I just use California and correct in the same sentence.

	California believes they need to build 2.5 million more homes.
	And this is everything from a 1,000 square foot one-bedroom apartment for a couple or a person to a 1,400 square foot apartment, two-bedroom, two-bath for a small family, to condos, townhouses, you know, high-density, more higher-density single-family units.
	They believe they need 2.5 million more homes today.
	And now they're saying, oh, you know what we're going to do?
	We're going to skip environmental reviews.
	You know what that means?
	That means they're going to stop having the phony inspectors that would go out to Palisades that said, we need to do a coastal environmental impact study before we can allow you to rebuild your home because we didn't want your home here on the coast in the first place.
	And you remember what people were saying, whether they were wealthy people or not, saying if that house burns down, they won't be able to build the one next to it for rebuild it for five years because the Coastal Commission of the things.
	So now California, finally looking in the mirror and going, you know, all this permitting and all this other stuff we've got and all these phony environmental studies, gosh, maybe we should hang back on some of that so that allows developers to build this because we need two and a half million houses and it's going to take a hell of a long time to do with it.
	So guess what?
	The California voters are saying you moved a lot of illegals in here that squeezed out lower and then you built a multi-million dollar condo for the illegals in downtown LA that they trashed over the course of four months.
	I don't say.
	No, wow, shocking.
	Give somebody something for free.
	They didn't value it.
	That's odd.
	Never heard that before.
	You know, you know, a child has to pay, a child saves money all summer to buy themselves a skateboard.
	They took better care of it than the one you just gave them free because they lost the first one because they were irresponsible.

	One of the reasons that these affordability is coming to number one on housing is because on a national level, immigration has slipped to like number three or four in polls.

	Because the president's fixed that part and has put a dent in it.
	Right now, you've got Californians, Pat.

	If they need 3.5 million, what is the realistic number that they're going to get in 2000?

	Of the money that came to them, do you know of all the 16 homes, 16,000 homes and structures, do you know how many have been rebuilt so far?

	Of the six that we're talking about, they are saying that if the homes are not rebuilt within three years, they're out.
	When it comes down to permits, this is the craziest number out of everything that we're talking about.
	When it comes down to permits, do you know how many people fires happen when, Rob?
	When was the exact date for fires?
	Can we find out when the exact fires were in California?
	It's been five months.
	It's been six months.
	When was the fires?
	January, I want to say, right?
	What was the exact date that we were looking at this?
	It was, I want to say right before election is what it was, or right after election.

	Okay, January 7th is when it started, and it was finally contained January 31st.
	Do you know what percentage of the people that have been wanting to rebuild their homes got permits?
	What percentage do you think have gotten permits?
	2%.
	14%.
	86% have no permits.
	So, you know how Newsom is going?
	I'm going to sue what Fox was for $787 million.
	President Trump is, hey, brother, Mr. Newsom, Gavin Newsom, Governor Newsom, you realize all those homes that were burned, all the structures, everybody, only 14% have permits.
	Only six have been rebuilt.
	You realize a couple billion dollars was given to traffic.
	These are people that are living in RVs.
	You realize how embarrassing that is?
	How terrible?
	No one's talking about that.
	So you want to talk about building homes?
	Three and a half million of them?
	If of the homes that were burned, and we're only talking 16,000, watch this here.

	With that kind of a regulatory environment, how long do you think it's going to take California to be able to build those homes?
	Now, I mean, this state is in shambles.
	The speed of execution is insane.
	Trump at the top is moving like this.
	Boom, State of California is just keep trying to get to the next campaign to be on the limelight, where Tom says it best.
	I think Newsom is deep down inside worried because the Democrats have chosen Pritzker over him.
	Because the moment he tried to show that he's a little bit more on the center, the moment he went there, they're like, the moment he went center, you know who he lost?
	He lost the left and the right because he went to the center, had a bunch of these conservatives on the show to act like, yeah, you know, Democrats, we didn't mess up.
	And so Republicans are like, whoa, maybe he's being a little bit reasonable.

	The left can't trust you.

	This was an article from Tuesday that actually I'm glad we're commenting on that talks about how basically to live in America, it's completely unaffordable in 47 of the 50 major metro areas.
	So when you're doing your monthly budget, which I encourage everybody to do, which is you take your income and you minus your expenses and then you have your net savings each month.
	Hopefully you're saving that money.
	You're going to have a major problem doing that budget in one city in particular.
	And that city is, of course, LA.
	So what they say, general rule, when you're doing your housing costs, which is your biggest part of your budget, something called the 30% rule.
	Does it say that in the article by any chance?
	About how 30% of your monthly income should go towards housing.
	Here's the problem that you're going to run into.
	47 of the 50 top metro areas, people are spending more than the 30%.
	The only cities that it costs less are Pittsburgh, Detroit, and St. Louis, which is basically hovering around 27 to 29%.
	But here's where it gets good.
	In New York, people are paying 67% of their total budget towards their housing.
	Okay, so that's more than double.
	In Boston, it's 64%.
	So a little bit less than double.
	LA, you ready for this?
	Make this make sense to me.
	104% goes towards housing.
	You're supposed to be at 30%.
	Okay?
	Most cities nationwide are averaging 45%.
	So there's a 15% delta.
	In big cities like Boston and New York, you're at 66, 67%.
	In LA, you have to spend 104% of your total budget on housing.
	How do you live?
	And by the way, that's not because it's beautiful and there's the demand to live there.
	It's because there's a supply shortage.
	And just like toilet paper was a dollar a roll at Costco during the early part of COVID when all the shortage happened.
	Remember that, Adam?
	People were going in there buying the big pack of toilet paper and it was very expensive.
	It's a supply shortage.
	It's not because they love the beach and the weather or they love the regulatory environment or the traffic or the lack of jobs or I'll stop with the list or the high insurance or no insurance.
	It's because there's no homes to buy.
	And those that are buying it are bid the price up and that's where the value is.
	Well, everything's always a supply and demand problem, right?
	Obviously, you're right here, but they also have a math problem.
	It's just not adding up and they have an affordability problem and it causes a living problem.
	LA, I continue to remind you, show me a good story that's coming out of California these days.

	Well, let's go to another story, which is not necessarily good news for LA.
	New Jersey poised to soon become the top three film destination, says the CEO.
	Now, in the history of this, if you're familiar with it, I did a video on this about a year and a half, two years ago, about the fact that the headquarters, Hollywood, used to be in New Jersey, and Thomas Edison ran it.
	And now it looks like it's going back to New Jersey.
	New Jersey film industry has surged since Governor Phil Murphy signed a film and digital media tax credit in 2018 with 547 projects filmed in 2023, generating $592 million and up from $67 million in 2017, Per Variety, prompting Tim Solomon, CEO of New Jersey Economic Development Authority, to state film and TV started in New Jersey way back in the day under Thomas Edison in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
	We were Hollywood before there was a Hollywood.
	He's right.
	We're bringing ourselves back to the top of the pack with major investments because we see a huge economic opportunity here.
	Major studio developments, including Netflix's $1 billion, half a million square foot production studio at Fort Monmouth, announced in May, Lionsgate's 300,000 square foot facility in Newark, announced in 2022.
	In 1888, Studios 1.6 million square feet space and Bayon are rare set to boost real local economies.
	Tom, thoughts on this story?
	Guess what?
	New Jersey saw an opportunity to say, we live in the shadow of New York.
	We need economic incentives.
	You know what?
	There's a lot of actors and actresses that are up in New York.
	There's a lot of good people here in New Jersey that would like jobs.
	Tell you what, what if we gave a tax credit to these people?
	Because we're not blue.
	We're kind of light blue.
	And by the way, I believe the answer is 4.5 points was New Jersey was not far off from going red in the last election.
	And so I think New Jersey just spoke up and said, hey, guys, tell you what, here's an economic, you employ a bunch of people.
	We'll give you some economic incentives, like some startup costs.
	And we're going to call it the Film and Digital Media Tax Credit.
	And guess what?
	547 projects.
	That's huge.
	That's like 547 little startup projects that are out there.
	And you know what?
	And guess this is where people that are operators that join government and get it done.
	And I'm going to, I don't even know this guy, but I read about what he's been saying and doing.
	And it feels like I agree with him.
	Tim Sullivan, the CEO of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
	And when you have those people that have the ear, it's like, who's in your ear?
	Is it a bunch of crazy liberals want to give away free crap with a mayor coming into New York?
	Or is it people that are whispering in your ear and saying, hey, maybe we should do this incentive, Mr. Governor?
	Maybe we should do this.
	And the Economic Development Office here, we could bring this stuff here.
	It's going to make jobs for people in New Jersey.
	And by the way, this is a growth orientation.
	This is the same thinking that Trump has on a national level.
	If we get growth and more people paying the tax that there is today and buying groceries and using cars and doing all those things in our city and getting haircuts and all that kind of stuff, guess what?
	They're part of the local economy.
	We can help grow New Jersey without having to tax during the Exodus, which is the current California plan or the Chicago plan.
	And this is a sign of when an operator gets in the ear of a governor, Phil Murphy, and something gets done to help things grow, jobs happen, and good things happen.
	And the loser is California and Hollywood.
	And it is so ironic that in the annals of history where Thomas Edison was, we're back where we started.
	It's pretty wild when you see this happening.
	But the great thing about competition is the fact that it's going to end up taking place.
	Meaning, if you're able to produce a better product to attract the people coming to you, it doesn't matter where it is.
	People are going to come to you.
	Adam, your thoughts on the story.
	Yeah, well, I remember we talked about it.

	And so this would have been in early 1900s.
	This is how Hollywood kind of got started.

	So then you had all these people that were like, well, I can't do what I want to do.

	But good old Thomas Edison is basically telling us everything.
	He controls everything, you know, so people don't like control.
	So they moved out west.
	Now, a lot of these people that moved out west that started Hollywood happen to be Jews.
	I don't know if you know this, but Jews happen to be kind of good at writing, kind of good at banking, kind of good at finance, kind of good at telling jokes.
	I know.
	I know it's hard to hear, guys.
	I know.
	But they were the ones that moved and took the risk and disrupted the original Hollywood and moved out to California.
	And they were the ones that started and founded, I think it was Warner Brothers, Paramount Studios, Columbia Pictures, MGM.
	That's why we know while Jews run Hollywood, well, they do because they started Hollywood.
	So that's sort of the story that I recall.
	I thought we were talking about New Juzy.
	So that's true.
	That was just Adam.

	But it was any of that.

	It's the challenge is now sometimes when you get too much power in an industry like they did in Hollywood, and then the state thinks they're going to own them forever and they're never going to leave, and they start abusing those privileges and the gratitude of having Hollywood, the creative guys being there.
	Other states, there's 49 other states that will be more than happy to accept them.
	Some states are saying, by the way, you know, some states had the opportunity to do the same thing as well.
	They didn't do it.

	They're like, we actually don't want Hollywood here.
	We actually don't want you to come to us.
	Go to Atlanta.
	Go to New Jersey.
	Go to Austin.
	Please don't come here.
	Please do not come here because the track record shows that the moment Hollywood moves to a certain city or state with the way they vote, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 years from now, they destroy that great state.
	So we'll see what's going to happen with New Jersey, but I don't like now.
