The Truth About the California Fires: Intentional Incompetence or Criminal Negligence?

The War Room with Owen Schroyer discusses the ongoing wildfires in Southern California and argues that they could be one of the worst fires in history due to failed policies and practices by liberalism and Democrats. They criticize the Democrat leadership for not taking necessary precautions against such incidents, claim that either intentional incompetence or criminal negligence led to these disastrous events as experts should have been able to predict them, and discuss how wildfires could have been prevented with proper forest management. The show also mentions laws passed in California limiting access to water which has led to disastrous consequences during wildfires, homelessness being prioritized over firefighters with funding for homeless housing increasing while funds for fire departments are cut, and the appointment of a lesbian as head of the fire department in California. President Trump criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom and other state officials for their handling of forest fires in the state during a meeting with governors from across the country. He accused them of not doing enough to maintain forests, which he said was leading to more severe wildfires. The president also suggested that climate change could be contributing to the problem. The host discusses the Los Angeles Fire Department launching its first-ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau to ensure fairness in the workplace environment but criticizes this move as unnecessary and focuses on firefighting instead of discussing diversity issues. He also mentions a raffle giveaway at his store that is ending soon. Alex Jones discusses various items available on his website, including a plush frog toy with a Save the Frogs logo that he finds hilarious. He then talks about a California program aiming to change the demographics of firefighters and mentions an incident where homeowners lost their fire insurance due to state policies in California. Jones takes calls from listeners, discussing the ongoing situation in Southern California and sharing stories of people affected by the wildfires. Joe Biden visited California during the recent wildfires and was criticized for his performance in addressing the situation. The speaker argues that Biden's visit was unnecessary and only served to draw attention to himself rather than focusing on helping those affected by the fires. Additionally, they point out that while the US provides aid to other countries like Ukraine, there is a lack of reciprocation when it comes to international support during natural disasters in America. The speaker also discusses California's history of wildfires and how the state has failed to properly manage its resources despite having high taxes and salaries for officials. They mention that California could have been a leader in electronic vehicles but ran Tesla out due to their leftist policies, leading to higher gas prices for residents. The speaker concludes by expressing frustration with the overall situation and questioning whether negligence or incompetence is at fault for these failures. The caller believes that the wildfires in California were intentionally started by politicians who are upset about Trump winning the election. He thinks they knew something was going to happen and made it seem like negligence so people would blame global warming or other factors instead of realizing it's all planned out. Diego also mentions how there have been no fire stops created in California, which he believes is another coincidence adding up to his theory that the wildfires were intentional. Owen Shroyer discusses with callers about a conspiracy theory that suggests the recent wildfires in California were planned by powerful individuals or groups. The first caller, Diego, believes that these fires are part of an effort to sabotage the US economy and cause chaos. He also mentions his friend's company, Protecto Therm, which has developed a flame retardant product but is facing regulatory hurdles in getting it approved for use. The second caller, Bob, shares how he and his team have created an effective flame retardant solution that they believe could save lives and property, but are struggling to get approval from the authorities due to political interference. Shroyer also mentions a theory about wildfires following proposed infrastructure plans in California, suggesting that these fires may be used as a pretext for land takeovers by powerful entities like BlackRock or government agencies. The callers express their frustration with what they perceive as

The silent majority is no longer silent.
This is The War Room with Owen Schroyer.
Please stand by for further details.
We return now to your regularly scheduled program.
Hold your breath and count to ten.
Feel the earth move and then hear my heart burst again.
For this is the end.
I've drowned and dreamt this moment.
So overdue I owe them.
Swept away I'm stolen.
Let the sky fall and it crumbles.
We will stand to our face at home.
Together let the sky fall.
When we crumbles.
We will stand to our face at home.
Together let the sky fall.
That sky fall.
Skyfall is where we start.
A thousand miles and poles apart.
Where worlds collide and days are dark.
You may have my number.
You can say my name.
But you'll never have my heart.
Let the sky fall.
When it crumbles.
We will stand to our face at home.
Together let the sky fall.
Let the sky fall.

Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be doing extensive coverage.
of the California fires today for three hours of the InfoWars War Room.
I do have some other news as well, but we're going to be doing the best coverage you're going to see of it right here.
I've got it all laid out.
You will be completely convinced this is either criminal negligence or intentional incompetence.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's Wednesday, January 8th, 2025. This is the Infowars War Room.
We are 11 days, 19 hours, and 53 minutes until Inauguration Day.
But I don't have too much politics for you today, except the failed policies, the failed policies, the failed politics of all things liberalism, all things Democrat, that have led to, when it's all said and done, What could be the worst fires in the history of Southern California.
And you can look at different metrics as far as how much burned or loss of property or loss of life.
But there is no doubt this one is on pace for the record books.
Now, I've got all these different examples that I've been pouring through all morning.
Of the failed policies and practices that led us here.
And really, the only conclusion you can reach is this was either intentional incompetence or this was criminal negligence.
Those are your two options.
Now, let's put a little context to this.
They started putting out alerts this weekend about heavy winds, dangerous winds.
That started happening, I believe the first reports were on Saturday.
And they kind of ran with those over the weekend.
And then, by Monday, they were...
Fully convinced, and we're sending out emergency warnings.
Well, it's kind of a rare thing you might say.
Wind, extreme wind warnings.
And I don't really, I've never lived in California, so it's not really something I'm familiar with.
So I saw this, and it kept popping up.
Had the news story on my desk, and I said, well, okay, this is interesting.
I keep hearing about this, but...
Let's just see what happens.
And of course, they're saying how it has high potential for wildfires.
So not just wind damage, but wildfires.
Again, I'm not familiar with living in Southern California.
So I don't know.
Is that normal?
Is it not?
I'll be following the story, monitoring it.
We'll see what happens.
Well, of course, fires don't just pop up out of nowhere.
Something causes fires.
Somebody either starts a fire or you have a situation with an electrical wire that can start a fire.
This wasn't the case of a lightning strike, obviously.
So you're talking about either somebody starting a fire, homeless encampment, whatever.
Or power lines being down.
So I'm sitting here yesterday, it was about 4 o'clock.
I have the story sitting on my desk.
My crew comes into my ear and says, hey, these fires in California are getting out of control.
I say, alright, pull it up, print me some stories.
They pull it up and I say, wow.
And so if you were listening yesterday, you probably heard the coverage and I said, this looks really bad, might be the worst.
One of the worst fires ever.
Just from what I saw.
Now, why am I saying this?
If I can sit here in a news studio in Austin, Texas, somebody with no firefighting experience, I'm not a meteorologist.
It's kind of like a little hobby.
I like to pretend like I'm a meteorologist sometimes.
I make jokes around here that I can predict the weather.
But not a meteorologist.
Don't live in California.
Not a firefighter.
It's not really my...
Zone of expertise.
And if I can sit here in an Austin, Texas studio with none of that expertise, hundreds of miles away, and I can say this is going to be really bad, and I can say this is how this is going to go down, how can the experts, with all the funding and all the leadership and all the experience in California, how can they let this happen?
Well, we have the answers, actually.
We actually have the answers to that question.
And before I dive into all of this, I will tell you another intention we have today.
We will be hearing from reporters that are on the ground.
Now, it's obviously a very risky, intense situation for them.
So they can't really guarantee anything because they may have to be mobilized and move and just trying to stay safe.
But we are in touch with some reporters that may be coming on.
I will be opening up the phone lines for people in California that want to weigh in on this, or if you want to weigh in on this with what you think is going on.
But this is either intentional incompetence or criminal negligence.
But at the end of the day, I can sit here and look at the record and show you how this is all bad policy and how none of this is necessary.
And it doesn't take much effort to see that people predicted this was coming because the Democrat leadership and the liberal agenda in California.
So I guess, because I've got, I'm overwhelmed with the evidence here.
Where should we start?
Should we start with the...
D-E-I diversity agenda?
Should we start with the fire department bragging about how gay they are?
Bragging about how they're all females?
You know, I was thinking about we just really don't have the resources or the crew over here, so we can't really do it like we used to.
But, I mean, it's like somebody that actually does comedy.
You should have a tiny little petite girl.
And then like a big burly man sitting there being interviewed for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
And they're getting interviewed and the, you know, big, big burly man, you know, big guy.
Looks like he could probably lift a woman out of a house if it's on fire.
You know, carry a fire hose up 10 flights of stairs.
Maybe even has firefighting experience.
And he's like, yeah, I got all this experience.
You know, I'm really healthy.
unidentified
I'm 25. Like, oh, okay.
owen shroyer
The lesbian fire chief interviewing her, interviewing him.
Oh, okay.
And then goes over to this tiny petite girl, like 5'2", 90 pounds, maybe 95 pounds wet.
Oh, what are your...
You'd like to be a firefighter, too.
What's your experience?
What's your resume?
Well, I'm gay.
I'm a part of the LGBTQ community.
Oh, you're hired!
Sorry, we only have room for one.
We're going to take the 90-pound girl and the guy that could actually be a good firefighter, you're out.
Sorry, we only have room for one.
We're going to take the lesbian.
It's all about diversity here.
And so that's like a funny skit.
That's actually what happens with these liberals when they run these institutions.
Now, let's just start with the headlines, and then we'll just dive into all these different videos, news reports, them bragging about how they did all of this.
But let's be clear.
Again, when the dust settles on this, you're going to be looking at one of the biggest fire disasters in the history of California.
And they knew it was coming.
And they did nothing to prevent it.
And I don't blame the firefighters, whether it's the lesbians or the diversity hires.
I don't even blame them.
This is the Democrat leadership.
This is the liberal agenda.
Without a doubt, it is either...
Intentional incompetence, for whatever reason, or criminal negligence.
And that's the problem here.
They'll get away with it.
Resignations should have already been filed.
And then they should volunteer to help.
Newsom, the incompetent mayor who was in Ghana, Karen Bass, The lesbian fire chief, all of them should have submitted their resignation and then strapped on a fire suit and gone and volunteered to help.
But they'll never be punished.
There should be investigations.
There should be criminal investigations.
There should be class action lawsuits.
But let's just dig into it.
Now, again, anybody could have seen this coming, including one Donald.
J. Trump.
Here's a post from President Trump in November of 2018. And we'll go back in the time capsule too and listen to some other things he said.
Here's a post from President Trump in November 2018. With proper forest management, we can stop the devastation constantly going on in California.
Get smart.
But they didn't have proper forest management.
Did they?
Did they?
And he brings up in past interviews now talking about Austria and these other countries in Europe that have similar situations in California but they don't have the wildfires because they do proper forest management.
I guess they're not thinking about can I hire a purple-haired lesbian to run the fire department?
They're thinking about who can I hire?
That's competent, that can do the job and stop us from having a wildfire.
What do you know?
They don't have the wildfires.
That was November 2018. And we'll continue to go back in the time capsule with other things Trump said because, again, everybody saw this coming.
Now, this was Trump this morning.
He posted this.
Governor Gavin Newsom...
Refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water from excess rain and snow melt from the north to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way.
He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt by giving it less water.
It didn't work.
But didn't care about the people of California.
Now the ultimate price is being paid.
I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to flow into California.
He is to blame for this.
On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes, a true disaster.
Now, we'll talk about why there's no water here and what the deal with the planes is as well, because we do have answers to all of this.
But let's just look at some of these headlines building up to this and how we got here, and then we'll go back into the time capsule and play some of these videos for you.
As well.
This is from last year, summer of last year.
California now has mandatory water conservation in urban areas.
How will the new rules affect your supplier?
So they limit how much water you can have.
They limit if you can even water your grass.
So we're not just talking about, you know, drinking or running a dishwasher or something.
You can't even water your grass.
They signed bills about that.
Gavin Newsom signs law to permanently ban watering grass at certain California businesses.
That's October 2023. Can't even water the grass.
Oh, well, gee.
That puts you in a bit of a situation there if a fire breaks out, doesn't it?
But see, by the way, what's kind of lingering in the backdrop of all of this, and we'll come back to it, is the fact that...
It's not even about spending the money on the homeless that we'll get to, where now they're spending more money on homeless than they are firefighters.
What's the likelihood that this fire was started by a homeless person?
Lighting a fire in the woods, lighting a fire in one of the homeless encampments.
There were all these videos going around.
I mean, who knows when they're from?
But they are from California.
They are from Southern California.
They are from Los Angeles.
I mean, it's not breaking news.
Homeless people start fires.
Whether it's to cook food or keep warm, whatever.
Or, I guess, we won't make a joke about what happened on the New York subway.
But, yeah, people start fires.
Is that how this started?
And they say there's conflicting reports on how it started.
They really don't know.
Was it a power line?
Was it somebody started a fire?
One fire officer said that they...
It was traced to somebody starting a fire in a yard.
So is this an issue where they just allow homelessness to run rampant?
They don't have any respect for society or civilization?
They just start fires and then bing!
The worst fire in the history of California starts?
So you've got the laws where they make it impossible.
To get access to water.
They have laws that make it impossible.
You can't even make the ground wet.
And they have plenty of water.
I mean, imagine they sit here.
I think Florida has the largest coastline in the continental United States, in the 48 states.
Alaska might have the largest, but it might be California's number two.
But imagine they sit here with the largest, one of the largest coastlines in the country, maybe the second largest coastline in the country, and they tell you they don't have enough water.
But it's the hidden in plain sight lie.
It's so obviously ridiculous.
They could get access from the water up north.
They could get access from the water in the ocean.
They say, oh, we have no water.
We just don't have any water.
So you can't water your grass.
You have to limit your water.
And then they drain the reservoirs into the ocean for a fish that's not even indigenous to the area.
Let's continue with the headlines.
March 2024. Will Gavin Newsom's $16 billion water tunnel destroy California's Delta?
So there's all this debate.
They have these deltas, they have these reservoirs, but they have to be environmentally friendly, but they also need them to go into the ocean because that's the natural flow for the fish.
So they end up having empty reservoirs, empty deltas, and pouring the water into the ocean.
So then Trump calls it out multiple times.
I have the clips.
We'll play them coming up.
Trump calls this whole situation out, says he's seen it for himself.
And then they publish headlines like this.
Trump's big vendetta against the tiny Delta smelt.
Oh, yeah.
Trump has a vendetta against a fish.
Trump's lying in bed thinking, that rotten fish, I'm going to get that smelt.
unidentified
If it's the last thing I do, I'll stop that smelt.
owen shroyer
No, he sees these lunatics saying, we don't have water in California.
He drives up the coastline.
He sees how they're pouring it into the Pacific Ocean.
He says, bullcrap, you don't have water.
You're literally on an ocean, and the snow coming from the north, you put into the ocean.
unidentified
And they say, he doesn't like fish.
owen shroyer
And then you get the biggest wildfire ever.
In a drought, California is watching water wash out to sea.
January 2023. So they scrapped multiple dams.
They bragged about how they got rid of the dams.
How they...
Emptied the reservoirs.
How they pumped the water into the ocean.
And they bragged about it.
And they said they're fighting climate change.
And they said they're saving a tiny fish.
Climate costs will only go up if California fails to act.
Voters should back $10 billion bond.
Now this was September of 2024. Proposition 4. And it's all about climate change.
So it's not even really about...
Kind of re-litigating the water situation that's been a disaster.
It's about fighting climate change.
Well, they already passed a bill in 2014, 10 years before this.
Proposition 1, that was $7.5 billion for a water bond.
And the same story.
It totally failed because they have to protect fish and they have to stop climate change.
And so they do all these things to fix the water situation, and then they never fix the water situation.
Then you get to funding at the local level.
L.A. Mayor Karen Bass cut fire department funding by $17.6 million months before wildfires turned city into hellscape.
Now, in that New York Post article, they have this graph.
The library got $14.6 million increase for the fiscal year.
The library, so that's nice.
And then housing, which is mostly homeless, that's really what that is.
It's money for homeless.
There was an increase of $10.7 million for the homeless housing.
So when you talk about an increase of $10.7 million for homeless housing and a decrease of $17.6 million for firefighters, Well, that's about a $28 million difference, prioritizing homelessness, housing over fighting fires.
Well, you're going to have a lot more homeless now, aren't you?
Cannabis regulation even gets an increase of $2 million.
So I can go down this list all day.
There's your failed policy right there.
So they prioritized homelessness.
Housing over the firefighters.
And they, of course, set up a situation where you're due to have a bad wildfire.
And, of course, they put a lesbian in charge of the fire department.
Well, because she's a lesbian, of course.
Maybe she has red hair that looks like fire.
She dyes her hair red like a fire.
So it's, you know, it's cool.
It's trendy.
Building more affordable housing.
Mayor Bass secures funding to build hundreds of more affordable housing units and make infrastructure improvements to produce carbon emissions by an estimated 66,000 metric tons of carbon emissions.
Guys, do you think a fire is a carbon emission?
I got a feeling a wildfire like that probably emits some carbon.
How's that doing?
We're stopping carbon emissions.
Of course, this is all made up.
It's all complete garbage.
So your L.A. mayor...
Decreased funding from the fighting fires, increased funding for housing homeless and affordable housing.
That was her priority.
Well, guess what?
You're going to need a lot more affordable housing now, aren't you?
California officials announced more than $800 million in homelessness funding.
That was October last year.
$800 million in homelessness funding.
Now, there's been some discrepancy over the numbers, but...
It is either $800 million is either the same budget that the fire department gets, or it's more.
So there was some discrepancy over the numbers, but it's basically neck and neck.
But it looks like they spend more money in California on the homelessness issue than they do on fire departments.
And guess what?
They still have the most homeless people in the country.
And now Los Angeles is burning to the ground.
unidentified
Yeah.
owen shroyer
But don't worry.
The mayor, Karen Bass, was in Ghana while all this was going on.
She finally made it back.
I think just an hour ago she finally made it back.
But she flew to Ghana when everybody was predicting this was going to happen.
And she left to go to Ghana.
Meanwhile, Biden was there blocking the airspace so help couldn't come in.
All right, we got more coming up.
All right, we're going to get into the videos now showing what went wrong.
We already saw a lot of policy decisions about what went wrong.
These are heartless people, these Democrats.
I mean, Karen Bass, I don't even know how you describe...
Her going to Ghana other than just entirely selfish.
Like I said, they were making warnings over the weekend about this.
And then by Monday, they were basically issuing emergency warnings.
And she still decided to go fly to Ghana to be a part of a presidential inauguration over there.
I guess, you know.
Because she's black, probably, that she feels she has the need to go to Ghana and celebrate her blackness, is my guess.
She's probably, I don't know if that's her first trip to Africa, but that's probably what was going through her head.
She had to be there.
She's black.
Well, I thought you were an American, but I see.
I thought you were the mayor of Los Angeles, but oh, I see.
You want to be in a state delegation or pretend?
You're in a state delegation with the president in Ghana, even though you're the mayor of Los Angeles.
And they have emergencies, warnings going out.
You decide to leave town.
That is heartless.
That is soulless.
That is a selfish woman who could not care less about her duty or roles as mayor.
And then she wants to come back after the worst of it.
For press conferences and talk about how much she cares.
Hey, this is what they voted for apparently in California.
It's very sad.
It's very sad.
So, the mayor leaves town.
She's not interested.
She doesn't care.
She's interested in her own stuff going to Ghana.
Then Biden flies into town as part of this deal where he was banning offshore drilling and giving all these federal lands and monuments to Native American tribes.
Temporary flight restriction issued as President Biden expected to land in Coachella Valley.
They didn't even lift the flight restriction so that other aircraft could get in to help fight the fire.
And they're dilly-dallying around on the tarmac.
And then there was some weird situation where they're not even sure what plane Biden was in.
It was just a complete, it was just complete chaos.
So they didn't even know what plane Biden was in or what plane he was going to get in, and they're riding around the tarmac, and they've got a flight restriction for the area, and they're calling in for help, and they're saying, hey, we need to open up this airspace.
We need to fight this fire.
We've got to open up this airspace.
And they said no!
Let it burn, they said!
Again, is this intentional incompetence or is this criminal negligence?
Where should we start?
Should we start with Donald Trump being right about this?
Let's start with Donald Trump just a few months ago talking about this situation on Joe Rogan's podcast, Clip 10. I said, do you have a drought?
donald j trump
No, we don't have a drought.
I said, why don't you have no water?
Because the water isn't allowed to flow down.
It's got a natural flow from Canada all the way up north.
More water than they could ever use.
And in order to protect a tiny little fish, the water up north gets routed into the Pacific Ocean.
Millions and millions of gallons of water gets poured.
I could have water for all of that land.
Water for your forests.
You know, your forests are dry as a bone, okay?
unidentified
Dangerous.
donald j trump
That water could be routed.
You know, you could have everything.
Not only dangerous, billions of dollars a year they spend on forest fires.
And you know, there's a case with the environment.
They're not allowed to rake their forests because you're not allowed to touch it.
And all they have to do is clean their forests, meaning...
Rake it up.
Get rid of the leaves.
You know, leaves that are sitting there for five years.
unidentified
We'll certainly get rid of the dead fall.
donald j trump
And get rid of the trees that have fallen.
owen shroyer
That was just a few months ago Trump was saying that.
Now here we are.
But he's been saying it for years.
Here he was in 2018 saying it right next to Gavin Newsom himself in clip 12. Cleaned out and protected.
donald j trump
We've got to take care of the floors.
You know, the floors of the forest.
Very important.
You look at other countries where they do it differently, and it's a whole different story.
I was with the president of Finland, and he said, we have a much different, we're a forest nation.
He called it a forest nation.
And they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things, and they don't have any problem.
And when it is, it's a very small problem.
So I know everybody's looking at that to that end, and it's going to work out.
owen shroyer
So that was Trump with Newsom saying this is what we need to do and it will be better.
Then, after Trump lost the election, Newsom came out and said things would be better now because Trump is out.
unidentified
Clip 14. That's what's different now is we are committed as a team, as a partnership with the legislature and other state agencies, including now.
The federal government, no longer a sparring partner, but a working partner.
Federal government, where we're not addressing headwinds, but tailwinds in terms of the support, a memorandum of understanding doubling our respective commitments to vegetation management and forest management and prescribed burns to support the Biden administration with resources, not just rhetoric, to help this collective cause.
It's a different paradigm.
It's a different framework.
That's what's different now.
owen shroyer
And of course, that just ends up being rhetoric.
So he says, hey, now that Trump's out, it's going to be much better.
We're going to avoid the forest fires.
Biden's going to help us.
Everything's going to be better now.
Thank goodness Trump is out.
Even though just two years prior, Trump sat right next to him in the forest and said, here's what you need to do to stop this.
And then they didn't do it.
And then here we are today.
And by the way, Biden's shuffling around.
I mean, this guy can't even talk anymore.
We'll show you Biden.
But no, it continues.
It continues.
President Trump had a meeting inside of the White House in 2018 where he talked about it again.
unidentified
Clip 17. We're all to do that in California.
Yes, sir.
donald j trump
California is a mess.
We're giving billions and billions of dollars for forest fires in California.
There's no reason for those fires to be like they are.
They're leaving them dirty.
It's a disgraceful thing.
Old trees are sitting there, rotting and dry.
And instead of cleaning it up, they don't touch them.
They leave them.
And we end up with these massive fires that we're paying hundreds of billions of dollars for to fix.
And the destruction is incredible.
So I think California ought to get their act together and clean up their forests and manage their forests because it's disgraceful.
What's happening should never happen.
I go all over the country.
And I meet with governors.
The first thing they say is there's no reason for forest fires like that in California.
So I say to the governor or whoever's going to be the governor of California, you better get your act together because California, we're just not going to continue to pay the kind of money that we're paying because of fires that should never be to the extent.
They were telling me in a couple of states, I won't even mention their name.
It's like...
A flash.
Some grass will burn.
It'll be over in minutes.
They'll lose two acres, three acres.
At the most, they won't even lose that.
And here we are with thousands of acres and billions and billions of dollars every year.
It's the same thing every year.
And they don't want to clean up their forests because they have environmental problems in cleaning it up.
It should be the opposite because you're going to lose your forest.
You'll lose it.
But it's costing our country hundreds of billions of dollars because of incompetence in California.
I'm speaking now for the people of California.
They don't want to see this happen.
They're getting destroyed.
And it's hurting our budgets.
It's hurting our country.
And they just better get their act together.
I'm sorry.
Go ahead.
unidentified
The state of California, your administration just entered into a first-type commitment over the next 20 years to double our vegetation management and forest management.
I want to thank you for supporting that effort.
Funding that effort.
owen shroyer
Where does the money go?
unidentified
We acknowledge our role and responsibility to do more in that space.
The partnership was significant.
It was first in California's history with the U.S. government.
But we're going to need to do a lot more.
donald j trump
That's something I feel so strongly about.
owen shroyer
Where did all the money go?
donald j trump
You go to Europe and different places in Europe, countries where they're forest countries.
They're very, very strong on management and they don't have a problem.
They really don't have with, as they say, more explosive trees that we have in California.
So thank you very much for your comments.
But we're working on that very hard.
unidentified
...specifically done on the issue of forest management.
And is it possible that it's also forest management and climate change?
It's both things at the same time.
donald j trump
Well, I think something's possible.
I think a lot of things are possible.
But with regard to the forest, when trees fall down after...
A short period of time, about 18 months, they become very dry.
They become really like a matchstick.
And they get up, you know, there's no more water pouring through.
And they become very, very, they just explode.
They can explode.
Also, leaves.
When you have years of leaves, dried leaves on the ground, it just sets it up.
It's really a fuel for a fire.
So they have to do something about it.
They also have to do cuts.
I mean, people don't like to do cuts, but they have to do cuts in between.
So if you do have a fire and it gets away, you'll have a 50-yard cut in between, so it won't be able to catch to the other side.
They don't do that.
If you go to other countries, you go to Austria, you go to Finland, you go to many different countries, and they don't have fire.
I was talking to a head of a major country, and he said, we're a forest nation.
We consider ourselves a forest nation.
This was in Europe.
I said, that's a beautiful term.
He said, we have trees that are far more explosive.
He meant explosive in terms of fire.
But we have trees that are far more explosive than they have in California.
And we don't have any problem.
Because we manage our forests.
So we have to do that in California too.
owen shroyer
Well, yeah, I think it's fair to say Trump was right.
But where does all the money go?
Where does all the money go?
Where does all the money go in New Orleans that they were supposed to spend on protecting the streets so that cars couldn't ram through crowds of people?
Where'd all that money go?
Where did all the money go from these multiple bills passed in California in the last decade for water resources and forest management?
Where did all the money go?
Where is the money going?
Trump on the campaign trail a couple months ago in California, clip 13. And you have so much water.
donald j trump
And all those fields that are right now barren, the farmers, would have all the water they needed.
And you could revert water up into the hills where you have all the dead forests, where the forests are so brittle.
Because no place is like California.
I go to Austria.
The head of Austria tells me, you know, we have trees that are much more flammable than what you have in California.
We never have forest forests because they maintain their forests.
And you have all that water that could be used to...
That's what they call water flow, where the land would be damp.
And you'd stop many of these horrible fires that are costing billions and billions of dollars by the federal government, etc.
So one thing I'm going to do for California, vote for me, California.
I'm going to give you safety.
I'm going to give you a great border.
And I'm going to give you more water than almost anybody has.
And the farmers up north are going to be able to use 100% of their land, not 1% of their land.
owen shroyer
Are you convinced that this is policy yet?
Are you convinced this is the result of bad policy yet?
Either intentional incompetence or criminal negligence.
As the fires still burn, by the way, they have no way to even put them out at this point.
You have a situation where They couldn't turn off the power, so power lines were sparking, going down, causing the fire to increase.
People would call the power department or the police and say, hey, this fire is expanding.
It's coming near my house.
The power lines are sparking and starting new fires.
You need to cut the power.
And they don't cut the power.
They say, nope, not going to cut the power.
The exact same thing they did in Maui, by the way.
Why wouldn't you cut the power?
Well, then their excuse is...
Well, we can't cut the power because then we couldn't pump the water.
But folks, there was no water.
There was no water to pump.
The well was dry.
The fire hydrants were empty.
So they refused to turn off the power, which led to the fire being worse, just like what we saw in Maui.
And they said, well, we need it to pump the water, but then there was no water to pump!
So what the hell is that?
Who's in charge around here, anyway?
Well, that would be your first female and LGBTQ Los Angeles fire chief.
And her priorities are laid out quite clearly here in clip 19. I'm super inspired.
unidentified
She took time out of her already busy schedule to tell us about her vision for the department's future, one that includes a three-year strategic plan to increase diversity.
People ask me, well, what number are you looking for?
I'm not looking for a number.
It's never enough.
Out of 3,300 city firefighters, only 115 are women right now.
She's already looking at ways to change that.
She's quick to point out that doing so has a greater purpose, attracting the best and brightest for the job.
The chief also checks another box when it comes to inclusivity and diversity at this department.
She's a proud member of the LGBTQ community.
Can you even believe we're here having this discussion?
owen shroyer
What type of clown world are we living in?
A gay woman in charge of the Los Angeles Police Department, because that will promote other gay women to come in, and that way we can have more women on the force, because it's all about diversity.
I thought it was about fighting fires.
I thought it was about rescuing people.
I thought it was about dealing with wildfires and limiting the damage and the death.
No, no.
It's about inclusivity.
It's about diversity.
It's about LGBTQ hires and females.
What is this clown world that these liberals live in?
What is this clown world that they want us all to live in?
Hey, that's a nice diversity hire you have there.
Hey, that's a nice strategy for diversity and inclusion you have there.
Your city burned to the ground, by the way.
Your city just burned to the ground.
But it's like, why do I have to have these elementary school...
Conversations as a political talk show host.
Like, hey, you know, firefighter is a pretty demanding job physically and mentally.
That's tough.
You've got to put your life on the line sometimes.
You've got to go into burning buildings sometimes.
You've got to carry heavy objects up and down stairs, even people sometimes.
You've got to make life or death decisions sometimes.
That's a very high-intensity, high-octane job.
Probably something for men.
It's not to say a woman couldn't do it.
But, yeah, men are more physically and mentally fit for that job.
Whoa!
Whoa!
We got a bigot over here!
We got a misogynist over here!
unidentified
What?
owen shroyer
Want a little more?
We got a little more.
She even had a...
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau, just to make sure her agenda was accomplished.
No, not fighting fires, but, you know, getting more diversity in the fire department.
unidentified
Clip 21. Los Angeles Fire Department is launching its first ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau.
It is dedicated to ensuring a fair and equal workplace environment.
Eyewitness News reporter Christian Cordero is live in North Hollywood with more on what it entails and why it's necessary.
owen shroyer
Christian?
unidentified
Ellen, Colleen, the discrepancies are stark, even just on paper.
The LEFD this year hired its first-ever female chief, and it says so far this year 8% of its applicants have been women.
That might sound like a small number, but it's actually twice the percentage of female firefighters currently in the department.
Every day, the LAFD is called upon to respond to crises, and today it is taking a step to resolve one of its own.
The department's first-ever Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Bureau will launch in January, one year since its first-ever female fire chief, Kristen Crowley, was appointed.
So by creating this new bureau, our diversity, equity, and inclusion bureau, now we actually have the staff to do the work when it comes to doing a deep dive in regard to how we do business, how we take care of one another in the fire stations and in our work environment.
The plan is to do so by adding training and enforcing accountability.
Calls for accountability have echoed for years.
In 2021, women's advocacy groups, including one representing female firefighters, pushed for changes at the highest level, saying a system within the department exposes them to abuse, bullying, and a culture of intimidation and retaliation.
owen shroyer
Accountability.
Boy, that's an interesting word.
I'd like to see some accountability.
Yeah, everybody involved in all of this should have already resigned and strapped on a firefighter suit and volunteered, volunteered to go in there and help people.
But none of that has happened.
They're probably still talking about diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Hey, by the way, we've played two reports.
Has anybody heard anything about fighting fires yet?
Has anybody heard anything about...
Better forest management and stopping the wildfire disasters.
Has anybody heard anything yet about that?
We're still talking about gay people?
unidentified
Here, let's give it one more shot in clip 20. We are hosting our new employee orientation and our focus is to teach our new employees for them to understand cultural competency, identify implicit and unconscious bias, and be aware of the importance of us having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Diversity is important because the different people bring different lenses to their job and those different ideas, those different lenses.
We have people here from HAZMAT. We have dispatchers in the room.
We have people that are responsible for financial management.
We have our information management division and also from human resources.
So we have a variety of professionals that are receiving this training.
Teach people how to deal with conflict responsively, how to have challenging conversations, break down stereotypes, and learn more about cultural competence.
And so we do this by working to advance equity throughout community partners and internal departments within Los Angeles County.
I welcome all of you in this room to join, whether you're LGBTQ plus or not, or you're just an ally, you have family members, anybody that's willing to engage.
And learn and grow from the opportunities that this experience has presented me with.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department would be recognized nationally and possibly even globally as an agency that was very serious about diversity, equity and inclusion and made some substantive changes so that everybody could feel safe.
On behalf of LA County Fire Department, we are so proud of our mission, which is to be proud protectors of life, the environment, and property.
If you want more information about our department, please visit us at fire.lacounty.gov.
owen shroyer
Folks, again, these people just let the city burn.
And I'm not pointing fingers at the firefighters.
They were put in a position to fail, but not even fail.
They didn't even get a chance.
But they have a woman speaking at this diversity, equity, and inclusion program who runs the LGBTQ plus infinity organization.
Plus infinity.
It's forever.
Liberalism.
Has to go.
It is a failed ideology.
It is a cancer.
It is a destructive force.
How many more lessons do we have to learn?
How many more times do we have to go through this?
Is the city of Los Angeles, is the state of California going to wake up and realize what they've done?
They've voted themselves into this.
unidentified
100%. 100%.
owen shroyer
We just played five minutes of public policy statements and internal practices from the Los Angeles police and none of it talks about fighting fires.
It all talks about...
What is the idea here anyway?
Like, there's a black kid in an apartment that's burning down.
And a white man comes in to save him?
Oh, yeah.
We need to make sure that white man knows about stereotypes and, you know.
Hi, son.
I'm a white man.
Is it okay if I save you?
I know about all the racial stereotypes, but I'm here to help.
What are we even talking about?
Oh, I mean, you walk into the fire department.
Oh, hey, you're a gay woman.
I'm really proud that you're here today.
Wow, you're so accomplished.
Isn't this so great?
You're a groundbreaker.
Should we fight a fire now or should we talk about how gay you are?
So this is all just clown world liberalism.
It has to be stopped because what you see in Los Angeles is the outcome.
So we can either learn from this and Do an about-face for the state of California, or it's going to happen again.
Things are only going to get worse.
So it's really sad.
This is what we have to deal with.
Now, I got a couple other stories in regards to the fires.
Had my crew popping in my ear in the break with an interesting point, too, to think about, to kind of chew on.
And then, as I said, I intend to open up the phone lines, probably coming back.
In the next segment, and people in California that want to talk about this, what they're seeing, what they're hearing, with some other interesting reports that are developing, too.
We may be getting some people on the ground there that are there reporting on it, but they're kind of in a tense, fluid situation, so it's not a guarantee that we can even get them on.
They're just trying to gather information and not, you know, get trapped.
So we got all of that coming up for you.
We'll give out the number, anybody that wants to comment on this.
But we'll probably prioritize callers in California or Southern California.
All right.
Now, let me do this.
Today is the last day.
In fact, I think we're down to maybe like 10 hours or less.
When you go to thealexjonesstore.com and make a purchase, you get 10 times raffle entries into the Monster Truck raffle, plus 10K cash.
So that's what's going on right now.
But it is the final hours, 9 hours, 57 minutes left.
And you get 10 times entries when you make your purchases now, but in 9 hours and 57 minutes, it's over.
The Monster Truck Plus 10K Cash Raffle giveaway is over.
So it's not too late.
You can still go to thealexjonesstore.com, make your purchases, and get 10 times entries, but you have just under 10 hours left to do so, and that's it.
Monster Truck Raffle Plus 10K Cash giveaway is over.
Now, there's some other exciting things happening at thealexjonesstore.com today as well.
Today, and today only, with a purchase at thealexjonesstore.com, you will get a free hat, limited edition InfoWars hat.
It's a black hat with the classic InfoWars logo on it.
So, with every order today, you get a free, limited edition InfoWars hat.
So, a couple of today-only things happening at TheAlexJonesStore.com.
So, you got that going on.
Now, I was told, I was told that we are selling a frog.
Is this true?
There it is.
So Alex is running around.
I come into the studio.
And he's got this plush frog.
I thought he was joking.
I literally thought he was joking.
And I thought somebody gave him this as a gag.
And so I started laughing.
And he says, hey, look.
It's my new collectible frog.
I was like, huh, that's funny, Alex.
Where'd you get that?
And he goes, no, I'm serious.
This is the new frog.
And then I noticed.
Oh, we got one right here.
And then I noticed it actually has.
If you recall, I don't know if we still sell this shirt.
We used to sell this shirt long ago, the Save the Frogs t-shirt.
It was very popular.
It was limited edition.
It actually has the Save the Frogs logo on the belly.
Look at that.
So I thought this was some gag that somebody sent Alex, and I was laughing.
I was like, oh, that's funny, Alex.
Who gave you that?
He goes, no, this is literally my new collectible frog.
I'm like, what are you talking about?
He goes, we're selling this.
Like, are you serious?
That is hilarious.
So, first of all, this thing is just hilarious.
Does it sit up, too?
You probably prop it up, have it sitting on your desk like that.
It's got...
So it's got...
There's a lot of InfoWars lore that went into this.
It's the Save the Frogs logo.
And it's got the frog costume that Alex once wore sitting in this studio.
I don't know if I was...
Was I in here with that, too?
Or it might have been a solo segment he was doing.
But he had a frog costume on.
He talked about being a gay frog.
But it's a frog in a frog costume with the Save the Frogs logo on the belly.
But this is nice.
This isn't like, I don't know, this is nice.
If your kids like stuffed animals or plushies, folks, there's stuff like this everywhere.
I could go on for days.
I could go on for days.
NPR headline.
Firefighting is mostly white and male.
A California program aims to change that.
That's great.
Let's just, I think, let's just go all in, you know?
Let's just make the entire Los Angeles Fire Department all lesbians and eliminate all males from it altogether.
Definitely white males, for sure.
I suppose we could have a black man here or there, just, you know, because that kind of fits the program.
But maybe we should just have the entire Los Angeles police and fire all lesbians.
I'm sure that would be great.
Because don't you know, criminals, they wake up, they read the news, you know, violent criminals and robbers and muggers, and they wake up and see the news and they see, oh, there's no more white male cops?
unidentified
It's all lesbians now?
owen shroyer
Out of respect for the LGBT community, I am going to stop committing crimes.
No, they actually wake up and they'd say, oh, it's nothing but women in the police force now?
I think I'm going to commit more crimes.
And then when they try to arrest me, I'm going to laugh as I run away.
Yeah.
Insanity.
How we've put up with this.
Complete and utter insanity.
All right.
I'm opening up the phone lines now.
We're waiting to hear from some people on the ground in California that are going to be doing some reporting, but the situation is a bit unknown.
They're in, obviously, some pretty serious situations there, so they kind of have to constantly be moving and trying to get their reporting in and videos, but making sure that they're safe as well.
So we're working on maybe hearing from a couple of those, but it's kind of an unknown factor.
However, we will be taking calls.
I'll prioritize calls from Southern California or from California, but anybody that wants to comment on this, we're basically dedicating the whole show.
I mean, I do have some other news here, but this is one of those days where I just got to dedicate a whole show to this because it's just complete insanity that we're even having to deal with this.
We've covered pretty much everything that I believe has led to this.
There's a couple other things that are going to be like a thorn in your side when I cover them coming up.
But the number to call in, 877-789-2539.
877-789-2539.
2-5-3-9.
And if you're in Southern California, you'll be prioritized.
If you want to talk about this or you're, I mean, in the mess of it, in the thick of it, you'll be prioritized.
If you're in California, you'll be prioritized.
But that's what we're taking calls on here.
What you think happened or maybe you think something else happened because there are a lot of similarities and we're still kind of in the opening, you know.
Aftermath of all of this.
But the fire is still raging.
But there are some similarities to the Maui wildfire, unfortunately.
Like they didn't cut the power.
They didn't take care of the issues with clearing out debris and brush and dead trees and leaves, which made it worse.
They didn't have water pumping.
And yet both of these cities are literally surrounded by water.
Go figure.
No water.
Surrounded by water.
Water, water everywhere.
Not a drop to fight a fire.
And then, of course, the Smart City Initiative, which was being introduced in Maui.
The Smart City Initiative, which they have in the works for Los Angeles as well.
So you have that going on.
You didn't really have all the woke liberalism of, hey, we're going to have a whole gay or lesbian I don't remember really that being a story out of Maui.
But everything else has people extremely suspicious.
So I'm not going to jump to any conclusions about intentionally doing this for some other agenda.
Maybe some other evidence points to that down the road.
But 100 percent, 100 percent confident that this is all the fault of bad policy.
Democrat policy and liberalism as an ideology.
100% that is at play here, if not entirely responsible for this.
It is either intentional incompetence or criminal negligence that we've witnessed here.
Now, here's a developing story.
Here's a developing...
Oh, look, this is Pride.
Oh, it's the Gay Pride magazine.
Palisades Fire Los Angeles' first LGBTQ fire chief is proving lesbians get it done.
Is that a joke, guys?
This has to be no way.
That's not parody.
They're celebrating her today.
This will likely go down as the worst wildfire in the history of Los Angeles, ladies and gentlemen.
And it could have been completely avoided.
And they're celebrating her because she's gay.
I mean, do you see what I'm talking about here?
The entire city could burn to the ground.
But if you're gay, it's okay.
Great job.
What in the hell is this?
Oh my gosh.
This is going to be a developing one to watch.
Woman runs out of her parents' house.
She's there trying to take care of them as this is all going on.
This woman runs out of her parents' house to talk to a reporter and says, why are they cutting off?
Fire insurance.
Listen to this in clip nine.
They're waving me down.
unidentified
Hi there.
That's fine.
You decided not to leave.
I know I'm not supposed to be here, but this is my parents home.
I know the feeling.
And they just lost.
They got canceled from their fire insurance.
So they're dealing.
They're 90 years old.
And through the state of California, because of this, they're 90 years old.
They've lived in this house for 75 years.
And they've had the same insurance.
And these insurance people decided to cancel their fire.
And they have no fire insurance.
So, thank you California insurance companies supporting Residents who pay taxes and love California, and they wonder why people leave California.
First and foremost, you did get your parents out safely.
I live in Sierra Madre, and my parents are in Sierra Madre, but...
And now you know that it is under evacuation as well, north of Sierra Madre Boulevard.
Yeah, I snuck here.
Now there's a will, there's a way.
Probably shouldn't do it, but you know what?
Under the circumstances, send me to jail.
That's fine.
It is unbelievable what's happening here to the neighbors.
owen shroyer
Your parents' house is still standing.
unidentified
You had a hose.
owen shroyer
You're doing what you can.
unidentified
I mean, I have a hose.
It doesn't compare to these beloved neighbors that I've known.
owen shroyer
Now, this is going to be one to watch.
If this becomes a bigger issue with other people reporting the same thing, then that's going to raise a lot of suspicion there.
Why insurance companies would be canceling fire insurance.
Just before this happens.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden decided to pop in and just, I mean, he's just stuttering, muttering around.
I mean, the whole thing is just pathetic.
You can't even hear him talk.
He doesn't even know what he's talking about.
But, you know, he had to show some face as he was already there anyway.
And so here he is.
They gave him a note card.
Just painfully, just painfully watch.
as the worst president in U.S. history attempts to read off a note card for some face time while this fire is raging in clip 15.
unidentified
Thank you for your attention.
Thank you.
Also, the California National Guard is guiding two modular air and fire fighting systems in the community, and two more are being ready for the National Guard, the National, Nevada National Guard.
Four more coming from the Guard of Command.
Ten maybe other guys from the water to the bucket.
Now, we're prepared for anything and everything that's long enough to take.
So, stay inspired and help you construct.
Make sure you go back and move.
You have a long way.
It's going to take time.
owen shroyer
So, he's just fumbling, bumbling around.
Can't even project his voice.
Then he makes it about himself.
unidentified
Before he closes out, he makes it about himself in clip 16. So
owen shroyer
he finds a way to make it about himself before the exit stage left, and he doesn't take any questions, none of them take any questions from the press.
In fact, I don't even think I've seen any press conferences.
And I guess maybe it makes sense that they're busy dealing with this fire, and the mayor has been in Ghana.
And I guess Newsom doesn't want to show his face because he was warned about this multiple times, including by Donald Trump, and yet, here it is.
But I don't believe I've seen a press conference.
There, Biden, he makes it all about himself.
He says, hey, well, you know, despite the whole city burning to the ground, I'm a great-grandpa today.
Isn't that great?
Wow.
Nice.
You want one more little thorn in your side?
One more little jab here?
USAID has funded 16 Ukrainian fire departments with protective gear, motor pumps, chainsaws, rescue motor cutters, rechargeable spotlights, fire extinguishers, and hydraulic rescue tools.
You know, to help them in the war.
And this is all from USAID. AID.gov.
A lot of interesting information over there if you check it out.
Where all of our stolen loot goes, where all our money gets stolen.
All over the world they steal our money.
And the middleman, of course, is Congress in Washington, D.C. They're the ones, they're the rat hole allowing our money to be stolen.
We are thoroughly prepared for any emergency and always ready to help.
One volunteer firefighter rescues his community.
Following Russia's missile strikes.
So just more money, more everything, more equipment for Ukraine.
Oh!
Today.
Actually, tomorrow will be the official announcement.
U.S. will announce $500 million in what they're claiming is the final aid package to Ukraine.
Now, we'll see if it's the final aid package or not.
$500 million.
Los Angeles is burning.
They announced $500 million for Ukraine.
All right.
Now, we've seen it before.
We'll see it again.
Another disaster strikes the United States of America.
And who amongst our allies will help us?
Will Israel be sending aid?
Will Israel be sending manpower?
Will Ukraine be sending aid?
Will Ukraine be sending manpower?
Anybody?
No.
No.
It's a one-way street.
All over the world, every country, damn near every country, takes our money and expects the United States taxpayer to pay for all their aid and anything else they want and all their protection and everything else.
And then when the United States has a disaster, when the United States needs something, nobody, none of our supposed friends that take our money and our protection None of them show up.
None of them send aid.
None of them send manpower.
Ever.
Whether it's a hurricane.
Whether it's a fire.
Whether it's an earthquake.
None of them.
Never.
But don't worry, they got plenty more money going out.
Plenty more American taxpayer dollars going out to foreign countries.
But when we have disasters, nothing for us.
Doesn't have to be this way.
None of this, none of this has to be going on.
None.
All right.
Phone lines are filled up here.
We're going to, again, prioritize people in California, but we're going to stick to calls on the wildfire today.
That's going to be the focus of this show.
Any incoming news, we'll be reporting that as well.
Guys, let's go to Matt in California.
Matt, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hey, Owen, thank you for taking my call.
That's just so many things where to start.
Number one, these type of winds every year happen between October and January, so they know about it.
This isn't something that's like, ooh, where did this come from?
I'm not tooting a horn, but I'm a pilot, airline pilot.
I noticed these conditions are going to start about 10 days ago because the temperature in Southern California at this time of year during the daytime normally is between 55 to 60 degrees, and we're showing 10 days ago it's going to be like 75 degrees, and that's the first clue that we're going to have standing in a wind.
And then started to see the forecast growing that, yeah, we're going to have this situation.
California has thousands and thousands and thousands of acres of untouched snow in the Sierra Nevada every single year.
That when that stuff melts, yep, it drains out to the ocean.
They don't let it pull into the reservoirs.
And Southern California, usually, there's been water rights in California for decades between who gets all that water, the north or the south.
A lot of the people where I'm at in Southern California, Orange County.
There's still several areas of conservatives.
That's one area I'm in.
But it's, you know, California, we get taxed for so many things.
You sneeze, you get a tax for it.
Your income.
I go and trade with somebody else my goods and services, I get taxed.
And they spend all that tax revenue in California.
You know, you're asking, like, where does it go?
It's paying these city officials and county officials and state officials thousands and thousands of dollars for their salaries.
And here we are.
Here it goes into DI woke LGBT firefighter ahead of the fire department who doesn't do anything but try to thump her chest about being LGBT.
So it's a waste of money.
And the homeless situation, too.
They spend billions of dollars trying to say, oh, we're going to build homes for homeless people.
None of it ever worked.
So it wouldn't surprise me if it was because of their failed leftist policies in L.A. that it's some homeless person that sent something on fire and poof, there you go.
So in the Pacific Palisades, we have friends that live there.
Thankfully, their home's okay.
Yeah, that is an area of wealthy, wealthy individuals.
And then there's some areas that are a little bit more middle class.
So it's very sad to see the state of California basically going down in flames.
And this is exactly all of their failed policies.
The other part I noticed, Alex was talking about this earlier, too, the temporary flight restrictions in the area because of Biden being in L.A., that was all posted several days ago as well.
Thankfully, firefighting aircraft have been flying since this morning.
So they were eventually allowed to start flying.
Whoever decided that was eventually going to happen.
But thankfully, they've been going all morning.
So that's really good to see that that's finally happening.
So if you look at Flight Radar 24, you can track a number of those aircraft that are circling the Pacific Palisades from fixed-wing to helicopter.
So it's good to see that all that's happening.
But I think, like what you've been asking, is it criminal negligence or is it just pure incompetence?
I think it's a combination of both because all of these people are being, all these officials, they're getting their high-time salaries.
I mean, we see that in the federal government, you know, too.
It's not just California, but this is a great example of where all these failed leftist policies and all these high taxes, you know, California, the environmental state, ran Tesla out of their state.
California could have been the new Detroit with electronic vehicles, but now the state of California can't collect that tax revenue on gasoline.
That's why we pay more than most other states.
Right now it's $4.80 per gallon of gas because we have to pay those taxes.
And that's why they want to tax everybody, all the drivers in California, kind of like how New York just did with driving through Manhattan.
California wants to do the exact same thing because they're losing that tax revenue and they're trying to make it up somehow.
But anyway, I don't want to take too much time.
owen shroyer
Well, if you could, can I ask you a couple questions, actually?
unidentified
Go for it.
owen shroyer
Yeah, well, and I would also just say they came out with a report.
Tesla, the company that makes the most cars in America, is Tesla.
In fact, in my neighborhood, there's two people that work at Tesla just in my neighborhood, at the Gigafactory here.
So, yeah, California could have had that.
They chose not to.
But that's just a different story.
So, when I saw Saturday, because again, I've never lived in California.
When I saw Saturday, because I just follow news trends and, you know, kind of just, it's like I'm just like a hound dog with news.
When I saw Saturday, Sunday, they were talking about these wind warnings, these emergency warnings.
I was like, huh, that's weird.
I don't know much about that.
So I kind of followed up on it.
And then Monday morning, they were officially issuing emergency warnings about it.
And I said, okay, well, I'll monitor that.
And then, of course, we all saw what happened yesterday.
So, I mean, what am I missing here where they had, you said they were anticipating this for 10 days, but what am I missing here when they had plenty of warning?
That this was going to happen.
They were even putting out warnings about wildfires.
So it's like they knew it was going to happen and didn't do anything to stop it?
I just, what am I missing here?
unidentified
Exactly.
That's the million-dollar question because it happens every single year.
You know, the past couple years, I remember watching videos that were on Twitter, and you guys even covered it too, where people were catching members from Antifa that were setting wildfires in California because they wanted to blame it on climate change.
Like, oh, it's climate change doing it.
And then that narrow fell apart as we started exposing that, no, it's actually your leftist moron that are setting the fires.
Now, through the National Aviation Weather Service is where I noticed the temperature change, and through a couple different aviation apps, I noticed that the conditions were coming.
And they know, the officials here know that this stuff is coming, and why they don't clear the brush, because it...
I go hiking.
I've gone hiking the local hills, the mountains and hills.
And yeah, there's just like leaves and dead bushes everywhere.
I mean, you could flick a cigarette and start a fire in California during this time of year.
And there's people in California that know when these conditions are going to happen, it doesn't take much to go throw a couple of road flares or whatever into the brush and poof, there you go.
And that's going to be the big million dollar question because I've seen different reports on how this fire started.
so we'll just kind of have to wait and see what happens.
But there have been other people that have been caught in the past setting these wildfires, and before they used to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, which I think one, I don't want to say the wrong thing in terms of what happened to somebody, but whether they were executed or not, you know, California is kind of against that stuff.
But anyway, whether they would actually prosecute somebody now with how they're so friendly to criminals, it's just, it wouldn't surprise you if they caught the person and they said, well, don't do that again, and they let them back out on the street.
owen shroyer
Well, there's no doubt that's a factor.
Whether it was the main factor here or not.
Because, look, fires don't just appear out of nowhere.
Something starts a fire.
So, okay, they could have cut the power to make sure it wasn't the power lines and just said, hey, we have to cut the power.
We're trying to avoid a wildfire.
They could have...
Well, I mean, I don't know what you can do.
I mean, they don't do anything to the homeless.
The homeless are constantly starting fire.
So it could have been started by a homeless person as well.
You know, was it a criminal act that somebody did it intentionally?
I don't know.
But yeah, I'm just curious because I haven't seen them really commit to the cause either.
I've heard a couple conflicting reports about power lines and then people starting fires.
They don't really tell us what that means.
But have they committed to any cause of it yet in local news?
unidentified
Not that I've seen.
In the times that I've been in the Pacific Palisades, there are some areas where there are power lines, but it's not as intense as you would imagine in most cities.
Some areas, actually, the power lines are underground.
So whether it was...
Actually, power lines waving in the wind and sparking, causing the fire, that obviously we don't know yet, but it's just a matter of time until we find out what happens.
owen shroyer
And the whole thing, we're still probably going to need 24 hours before the dust even settles.
All right, Matt, thank you for that call.
We're going to continue with the calls on the other side of this break.
All right, we're taking calls from people in California on this wildfire situation.
I'm monitoring...
What's going on with the insurance story?
Because more people are talking about it now, posting about it now.
And so I just put up a post asking people if they, you know, how many people lost their fire insurance right before this happened.
I'm pretty much buried on that app now, though, so you probably won't see it.
Which they now admit is going on, but that's not a story for today.
So let's go back to our callers in California.
Let's go to Diego.
Diego, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hello?
Hello?
owen shroyer
Yes, sir.
unidentified
How are you doing, bro?
First of all, first time on the show, so I want to just say you guys are the absolute best of the best at what you guys are doing.
Very lucky to be talking to me right now.
straight up.
I appreciate everything you guys do for us.
But anyways, so this fire situation we got going, I truly think it is the politicians themselves doing this because when Trump, as soon as we found out he won, the very next day it was windy and what a coincidence that I'm like, these guys are just salty because there's a lot of rich politicians that live in the Malibu area.
I live about an hour from there, so I saw that it was getting...
Well, the point is that they usually...
You know when a win's going to happen.
You're saying that 10 days before it even happened, they were saying this and they were saying that.
I truly think that it was planned for them to make it seem like there was this.
They knew something was going to happen, but they're like, oh, don't worry about it.
That way it could seem like, as you guys were saying, negligence.
It's criminal negligence.
They're neglecting to take care of what they've got to take care of.
They're making it seem so as if, oh yeah, you know.
Don't worry about it.
And in reality, it's them doing it.
So the fact that we have no, as some says it, we haven't gone into rake in the forest.
We have, I think Alex Jones calls them, when you guys, in Texas, you guys have like stops for the fire?
Fire stops?
owen shroyer
Fire breaks.
Yeah, fire breaks.
unidentified
There you go.
Fire breaks.
So they do that stuff all on purpose so that...
Like, what happened in Hawaii, right?
I really think they're trying to take over, and what a coincidence that all of a sudden this fire insurance bullcrap happened that some people got it taken away, or perhaps it's not fully covered.
What a coincidence, dude.
Like, literally, the day in which there's a wind, what a coincidence that there's a fire.
owen shroyer
That's the key word here, is coincidence.
And I'm not ready, let's say, to maybe jump to the same conclusion that you're reaching, that this was an intentional act, and there was a...
But I would say the coincidences certainly are adding up, right?
I mean, the mayor is out of town.
She's just not there.
But Biden happens to be in town.
And so for the first, like, 12 hours of this, the airspace is restricted and they can't even get aircraft help in.
I mean, those are two major coincidences.
Now, if we look at this insurance situation, if that was really going on, that'll be another coincidence.
I don't think it's as much of a coincidence that they don't rake the forest or create a situation that they can control these things because they never do that.
But certainly the coincidences are adding up here.
unidentified
Well, perhaps there was a plan for the fires to eventually, you know, take place, which is why they've never done any fire stops or whatever they're called.
So, you know, I'm trying to not overdo this, you know.
That way, you know, you could say, oh yeah, it was global warming, this and that, when in reality it's all bullcrap.
And I just really think this is all planned out.
Obviously, you know, there could be homeless people doing their thing, but most of this seems too just, it seems too obvious to me.
It's really just one thing after another.
As I said last time, the day in which Trump got, we found out he won the very next day, there was flyers.
I'm like, bro, these guys are salty.
They're trying to...
From that moment on, I thought, yeah, they're going to try to mess up the economy here as much as they can.
Well, everywhere across the nation.
And I thought, you know, as soon as they started a fire, I'm like, yep, there's, I mean, not strike one, there's step one and here's another one.
So I really just think this is all planned out.
It seems way too obvious.
owen shroyer
All right, Diego, appreciate your call today.
Glad you called in.
Let's go to Bob in California.
Bob, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hey, Owen, first time, long time.
I just want to mention Jesus is king.
No matter what they throw at us, we'll win in the end.
Stay encouraged.
I just want to say also, I appreciate you so much, man, what you and Alex did.
I mean, you spending time in jail for the American people is how I look at it.
That's worth you getting the Medal of Honor, Medal of Freedom, in my opinion.
Anyhow, yeah, I live not too far from...
The fires, and I'm trying to contact a friend there that lives in Pacific Palisades, can't get a hold of them.
But all that said, I wanted to let you know, too, I work with a team of guys to help develop a flame retardant that we've taken to the state, and they're making us run through hoops.
I mean, it's incredible.
I'm trying to gather my breath here because I'm excited.
owen shroyer
Well, gather your breath for a second, and let me just ask you.
To get more specific about that, flame retardant, what do you mean exactly?
You know, what's the application?
And then are they, is it regulatory burdens?
Or what is it that they're keeping you from introducing this to the market?
unidentified
Absolutely.
Well, we've developed a product where you put it in the palm of your hand.
You put a penny in the palm of your hand.
You put a 3,700 degree torch on it.
It'll melt a penny, but not your hand.
If you put our product in your paint, your house will not burn down.
We have videos.
We've shown people.
And like you said, the regulatory commissions here, it's almost like they don't want the houses to be safe.
You know, they don't want it.
They need houses to burn for some reason.
You know, so it's crazy.
The company, I mean, you can see videos.
It's called Protecto Therm.
We have videos out there.
But again, it's like there's politicians.
Lobbyists.
It's just tough to get through the matrix.
And we have a solution that will save lives and property.
You know, as you mentioned, people can't get fire insurance.
We could be your insurance, but, you know, it's a big battle.
owen shroyer
Or they can even have incentive-based with, like, you know, use it.
Again, I'm not fully understanding the practical purpose.
Like, can you put it in a paint, or what do you do?
Do you, like, douse the wood in it?
unidentified
Well, we have a patent pending right now for three different products.
One is the foam.
Like, the pink stuff they drop in California, a lot of it's highly toxic, cancerous.
You can't drop it within 300 yards of water.
With ours, you can drop it, and if you're hungry, you can eat it.
It's non-toxic.
We passed the highest toxicity test in California.
They do it with these things called largeheads or bighead minnows.
They put our product in the water with it, and all the fish lasted for three days, all ten of them.
None of them died.
So we passed the highest stringency test.
Also, there's ASTM testing.
Highest scientific standards you can have.
We got an A+. We'd be gold medalists in all those.
Yet we can't get an ear to help share our life-saving product.
owen shroyer
Yeah, we had the website up.
They had a paint powder and everything.
So there's definitely ways that you can apply this and even normalize this.
unidentified
We figure about 1,900 applications, but the problem is some of these tests are $35,000 a test to prove your product, you know?
But, you know, the videos don't lie.
owen shroyer
Well, we just pulled it up, too.
I mean, literally, you put your hand on the line there, you burnt a penny in your hand, and I guess your hand came out all right.
unidentified
Absolutely.
I mean, and then you can eat the product, you know?
How safe it is, but...
You know, I appreciate you sharing and airing that.
Again, we're just trying to save lives.
And, you know, one of my partners is a pastor.
I mean, we're doing it for different reasons.
I think God gave us this to help bless us, to help save lives.
And we're just looking to hopefully, you know, whatever.
But anyway, all that said, hey, I appreciate you guys.
And also, if you look a little deeper, the past California fires followed the high speed line proposition.
All these, if you look, you know, it could have been dues that went in there and got those houses because it's an amazing coincidence of the fire line versus the high speed line that Feinstein and her husband were all a part of.
owen shroyer
Are you talking about a train?
Are you talking about a train?
unidentified
Yeah, the high-speed trains proposition from Northern California to come down to Southern over to Vegas.
If you look at those fire lines, the high-speed fire lines, that was the same area proposed for the high-speed train.
owen shroyer
Which was the same case with another wildfire in California.
I don't remember if it was the 2018 wildfire, but wasn't that the case with another large wildfire where it was exactly where they had drawn up new infrastructure plans but they couldn't get it cleared?
unidentified
Absolutely.
They're having problems with imminent domain and this and that.
But what a better way to get the people out and claim the land is unlivable, whatever, and then, you know, there's a government or BlackRock or whoever take over.
It's just crazy coincidences.
But again, I think that's why they're trying to suppress our product, because they know it works against the agenda.
owen shroyer
Incredible stuff, Bob.
Thank you for calling.
Wow.
We've had great callers.
Let's go to Steve in California.
Steve, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
Hi.
unidentified
How are you?
owen shroyer
I'm good.
unidentified
All right.
I'm glad to hear it.
You know what?
I think when it comes to these fires and the land takeover in California has been going on for a long time.
It's got nothing to do with that little fish.
It has to do with the machinations of the corruptocrats that have been running the state.
And I want to circle back around.
And then I really believe that Elon could take over this state.
We turn this state red by fixing all the problems here.
And then we could take over Canada.
They could have their – fix the problems up there.
Maybe we could have two more red senators up there and Greenland and the whole deal.
But as far as this, every time there's a fire, you know, they're talking about it.
They pre-programmed it.
They have people on the news.
Oh, the winds are going to pick up.
I'm worried there's going to be a fire.
And then there's a fire.
Always in the most expensive places on Earth to have land, right?
Coincidentally.
owen shroyer
Well, there was, I mean, again, I'm not the most familiar with the area, other than just what I've learned in, let's say, the last 24 hours or so, but part of it was some of the richest houses in California.
Part of them were some of the richest houses in the Palisades.
unidentified
That is one of the most beautiful places on Earth right there.
If you want to live anywhere, that's one of the places, for sure.
Also, when the fire starts and the winds are coming, they know it's coming.
They know how to feed the clouds.
They should be up over the Pacific.
owen shroyer
Well, and that's a whole other can of worms that we haven't even opened, but go ahead.
unidentified
Yeah, why not do it?
When they know the winds are coming, be ready to put the planes up over the Pacific and feed the clouds.
They're doing it.
You've had people that own the companies that do it, right?
They fly the planes.
owen shroyer
They're doing it.
This is what's so crazy about that, because they know the programs work.
I don't know if they have it down to an exact science, but I mean...
They've got it.
They got it pretty good, and I would imagine it probably even the climate matters of what they can do effectively or what they've mastered and what they haven't.
But, I mean, it's to the point now, because I've done this on the air, it's to the point now where I can recognize the cloud seeding programs that they run here in Texas, that they run in Austin, and I'll see them and I'll say, oh, it's going to rain the next 48 hours.
And then, bing, that's exactly what happens.
It'll be clear blue skies.
And then they'll spray it, and you'll see the checkerboard patterns with all the stuff, and then I'll come in here and joke with the crew.
Rob Dew posts about it, I post about it, I post the images up, and it's like, oh, they just hit us, and it's going to rain for the next 48 hours, and bing, it's exactly what happens.
So, I mean, I don't know if that would work in California, or if they've kind of maybe mastered it here, but it's a different climate there.
But absolutely, if they wanted to, they could do it.
I think that's kind of the point here.
If they wanted to stop this stuff, they could.
If they wanted to, if they committed to it, we have the technology, we have the minds, we have the research, we have multiple ways to do it.
If they wanted to stop it, they could have.
And again, I'm just somebody, I don't live in California.
I'm not familiar with Santa Ana winds.
I just see this stuff popping up on my newsfeed over the weekend.
I'm like, why do I keep hearing about wind emergencies, wind warnings?
I'm like, huh, that's strange.
And then Monday they say emergency warning wildfires because of wind.
And I'm like, okay, I'll monitor this.
And then it happens.
It's like...
It's like, hey, I'm going to stand on a train track, and I know that a train is coming at noon on Tuesday.
I'm going to stand on this train track.
It's like, here comes the train, and then it's just like, okay, I just don't get off the train track, and it runs me over.
Anything else, Steve?
unidentified
Yes, sir.
They could also use Elon's Boring Company, and I have a couple other really good ideas.
We could solve homelessness and a bunch of other things with that.
There's gold on their hills, and I'd love to speak with them about it, and I'd love to have barbecue or a steak with you guys one day.
But they could also put a little boring machine right from the ocean up into, like, the Topanga Canyon and some of these other places, and put trillions of gallons of water up there.
And people can go boating and fishing and recreating and do all that, and then they can drain it out whenever they need to, down to like 10% or something, and then fill it back up whenever they want.
owen shroyer
100% they can do this.
I mean, they drained the reservoirs.
They shut down the dams.
This was all Democrat Party policy.
They bragged about it.
Steve, thank you for the call.
I mean, folks, that's what's so crazy here.
They did all of this.
They literally drained the water reservoirs.
They literally shut down the dams.
They literally shut down the natural flow from the north into lakes, into the ocean.
They literally did all of those things.
Water!
Water!
And they're denying it.
They're denying the people of California water.
For what, a fish?
Environmental?
And they stand up there and they have press conferences and they pass legislation and they do victory laps and they high-five one another?
Because they're stopping Californians from getting water and they claim it's a victory.
That's like in Mad Max.
It's literally like Mad Max.
They shut down the water.
Crazy.
Betty in California, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hey Owen, this is...
I'm out in Palm Desert.
Anyway, so many catastrophes and political bullshit.
But the bottom line is this.
All that stems from ours is the election fraud.
Hell, the cheaters are still counting out here.
I pray for one day voting so we can get rid of all these incompetent people.
owen shroyer
It's sickening.
Now, do you think, because it sounds to me, what you're saying is that Democrats don't legitimately win elections in California, they're stolen?
unidentified
Absolutely.
I absolutely believe that.
I've seen it, I've heard it, I've listened to Alex back since in the early 90s.
And then I moved here and picked up, I was in L.A. Hell, I was in Michigan.
I'm from northern Michigan.
Culture shock when I came to L.A. And now I'm here, out in Palm Desert, and I still can't stand what they're doing.
I've always thought that my whole life, that every time we have elections, every time, how come it's so close?
49, 50, 49. It's all the time.
It's all the time, and this has got to stop.
One day voting, I hope Trump can make it through these 12 days.
We have to have one-day voting.
Count the votes at the end and it's done.
Let's be like other countries.
What are we?
owen shroyer
Not only that, I would expand on that too.
Not just the one-day voting, but you also have to have a process where there's some sort of transparency or visible accounting for the actual tabulations, where it's not just...
You plug it into a machine and then who the hell knows?
It's just feeding data back and forth and there's no actual live readings of it.
Because that's the problem.
Because technology can be used for good or bad.
But I sit here and I say, how does Nancy Pelosi stay in office for 50 years?
How does Maxine Waters win like 10 straight elections or whatever?
I mean, these are inherently corrupted people that are extremely unpopular and they never lose an election.
Never.
You know, Trump talks big about election reform.
Absolutely.
I mean, but do you really believe?
And I'm just pressing you on this because I don't live in California.
You know the people there.
Do you really believe if you had integrity in the voting system that Democrats would start losing?
I mean, they flipped three House seats post the election.
I mean, they stole three House seats in California.
unidentified
Anyways, they're going to cheat.
They cheat when it's term limits.
I've seen it all.
They cheat on term limits.
Oh, we can't have term limits.
Why?
Because Nancy Pelosi has to stay in there so her nephew, I think it's nephew, right, Newsom, can get in there and be, what now, higher than the governor of California?
He needs to go take care of her.
She keeps falling down and she's a sick woman.
He needs to get off the...
I'm so sick of it.
Listen, I hear you sometimes.
I hear, Alex, what in the hell are you guys doing out in California?
Why are you voting these people in?
You're voting these people in.
No, we're not.
They're stealing it.
They're cheating.
It's fraud.
I don't care what anybody says.
This hurts me to even have to say stuff like this.
Can you believe where we're at today?
Gay, female, firefighters, who gives a shit?
I look at you, I look at you and I go, God, he's a good-looking guy and what a manly guy.
What a manly guy.
I like this guy.
Alex, praise God that he lost weight.
I think he looks better than ever.
And those people better get out of our way.
We're coming.
owen shroyer
It's total clown world.
I mean, there's no...
To think that...
You're instilling any confidence in the public because your fire chief is a lesbian.
I mean, that's...
This is not normal behavior.
There's something deeply disturbed in that ideology.
And it's a cancer on human civilization.
And California is the ultimate proof.
Look, if we can clean up the election systems and maybe they'll stop the ability for the Democrats to cheat and steal in California, then that would be huge for your state because it's...
Literally on fire right now, Betty.
And so it's too bad for the country that we have to deal with this because California is a great state.
And it's too bad for the locals that have to deal with this because right now your state is literally on fire because of Democrat policies and liberal ideologies.
unidentified
In Hawaii.
Same damn thing happened in Hawaii.
owen shroyer
All right, Betty, thank you for the call.
I hear the frustration in your voice.
And how can you not be frustrated?
I mean, I'd be infuriated.
I'd be completely infuriated if I was a resident in Southern California or even California at large.
And you can hear it.
We're taking calls.
We've got more people coming up.
unidentified
But...
owen shroyer
More images still.
The fire is still not contained.
They don't know what they're going to do.
They're predicting the winds will calm down in about 24 hours, and that'll be their chance to get it under control.
But it's bad.
It's bad.
As we're just looking at some of the most recent images.
On the screen here.
It's raging out of control.
And it will go down as one of the worst fires in California history.
Maybe the worst.
And I would say it's probably already the worst as far as property damage is concerned.
I don't know about as far as the size and scale or death count, but As far as property is concerned, this is likely already the worst.
And it's still ongoing.
Still ongoing.
All right.
We got more callers from California coming up.
We got a clip from the mayor that we're going to play.
This is clown mayor, total clown, finally gets back to L.A. after this starts, even though everybody knew it was going to happen, and then they let it.
So that's all going on.
Remember, folks, if you want to support Alex and keep him on air, you've got to shop at thealexjonesstore.com.
A couple special things happening today there, by the way.
A free, limited edition InfoWars hat with every order.
That's right.
A free, limited edition InfoWars hat with every order.
And it's your final day.
In fact, just nine hours left.
To get 10 times raffle entries into the Monster Truck Plus 10K Cash giveaway.
That ends in nine hours.
So once that clock runs out at the top of the site, thealexjonesstore.com, the chance to enter the Monster Truck Plus 10K Cash raffle is over.
But when you shop right now, you get 10 times entries and a free hat with every purchase.
That's what's happening right now.
All right, we'll hear from the mayor who just landed back in L.A. when we come back from this break, and then more calls.
All right, we've got Karen Bass, literally Mayor Karen, who left her city to go to Ghana for selfish reasons.
It's all about her.
She finally made it back and just spoke with the media, and so here's what she said.
unidentified
Do you owe citizens an apology for being absent while their homes were burning?
Do you regret cutting the fire department budget by millions of dollars, Madam Mayor?
Have you nothing to say today?
Have you absolutely nothing to say to the citizens today?
Elon Musk says that you're utterly incompetent.
Are you considering your position?
Madam Mayor, have you absolutely nothing to say to the citizens today who are dealing with this disaster?
No, I guess she didn't speak to the media then, did she?
No apology for them.
Do you think you should have been visiting Ghana while this was unfolding back home?
Wow.
And she runs from the press.
owen shroyer
So still no press conferences.
unidentified
Madam Mayor, let me ask you just again, have you anything to say to the citizens today as you return?
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hold on one second.
Madam Mayor, just a few words for the citizens today as you return to deal with the catastrophe.
owen shroyer
And she runs away.
unidentified
Wow.
owen shroyer
Wow.
unidentified
David, as you say, she wasn't very keen to answer any of your questions there.
owen shroyer
Worst wildfire in Los Angeles history.
And the mayor who skips town won't even answer a single question, won't even say anything to the press.
She's more pathetic than I thought.
I didn't think she could be more pathetic.
She's even more pathetic than I originally thought.
Wow.
Oh my.
What?
Oh, my gosh.
unidentified
It's just so frustrating.
Thank you.
Thank you.
owen shroyer
It's just so frustrating knowing that none of this is necessary.
All of this could be avoided.
And you just sit here and watch Democrats destroy everything.
And it's no endorsement of the Republican Party.
They've got plenty of problems, too.
But it's like, at least you get a chance at some competence.
At least you get a chance at policies that aren't inherently self-destructive.
At least you get a chance at having meritocracy instead of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
They did this.
Did they actually light the match and set the fire?
Well, I don't know.
But they did this.
They did this with their policies.
They did this with their incompetence.
They did this with their negligence and they could not care less.
Smug Gavin Newsom up there smiling with Joe Biden who can't even talk.
The mayor lands from Ghana, won't even have a press conference, won't even say a word to the media as the city burns.
All you're going to hear from the fire department is how they love lesbians.
And they're going to make sure we have lesbians and women in the fire department.
What about stopping fires?
Nothing on that.
But we'll have lesbians.
What a shame.
What a sad...
What a sad event to have to witness this, knowing it could have all been avoided.
And it's always the same people running it.
You know, I don't think it's...
A stretch to say, when you vote Democrat, you vote for death.
When you vote Democrat, you vote death.
Whether it's what we're seeing in California, whether it's what we see with the open border, whether it's what you see at abortion clinics, violent crimes in major cities, when you vote Democrat, you vote death.
Let's go back out to our phone lines.
We've still got callers coming in from California.
As I've said, we're prioritizing our California callers.
We do have others on the line, but we are going to prioritize the California calls.
So let's go to Tim in California now.
Tim, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
tim in california
Hey, Owen.
Thanks for taking my call.
I sent my regular caller to the show, and I've lived here in Southern California as an adult for like 45 years or more.
And the problem is kind of twofold.
It's on both ends of the pipe here.
And one of them Trump has recently found out about.
Those of us who've driven up and down Interstate 5 through the Central Valley of Southern California already know.
The story that he's telling, where the politicians are diverting all of the freshwater into the ocean for the sake of some tiny fish that's the size of a minnow you can hold in the palm of your hand.
So that's the, on the front side, we need that water because, as Jerry Dunphy used to say every night on TV before we had cable, he'd say this is where the desert meets the sea.
And you get confused because you see the mountains, but hey, you're still just a few feet above sea level.
This is all desert.
And not only that, the humidity is always low here.
I mean, it's like the song, it never rains in California, and it does.
But when it does, it pours.
But it never rains.
And like right now, this exact moment, I checked just before I called you, we're at 14% humidity right now.
owen shroyer
Well, hadn't it been like 60 days or something since the last rain, I think I read?
tim in california
Yeah, and it's just kind of the nature of California.
It's a desert.
In fact, all the trees that you see, there's a guy named Mulholland that designed a way to bring the water down in a concrete channel here into the desert southwest and all that.
And I might note to the guy that talked about Elon Musk boring into Topanga area that you could do that.
But another way is we have already something called the L.A. River.
And it's this concrete channel that we had to create on account of, like I said, when it rains, it pours.
And the ground can't absorb the water.
So we have these horrendous runaway floods and stuff.
So since they knew that kept happening, you know, at some point in time, they made this thing called the LA River and all these concrete channels all over Southern California flow all this water into this big thing that takes it directly to the ocean.
And that's why I say on the other side of things, how about if instead we actually captured some of that water and then that could be used for irrigation and stuff instead of fresh water?
I'm sorry for the dog.
It's my mascot.
But anyways, we got the desert meat and the sea here.
We have really low humidity.
And then the winds last night in some areas were gusting to 99. We actually, for your airline pilot that called in earlier, I might mention to him, at Burbank Airport, we had a wind gust of 84 miles an hour last night.
So this is kind of the deal, and I'm not making excuses for the piss-poor planning and the bad government and taking a $30 billion surplus and turning it into a $100 billion deficit.
I mean, these guys are certifiably clowns, no doubt about it.
And they're crazy because they're even cutting our water off, you know what I mean?
And like you say, hey, I run guys around, stood up, writing parking tickets, I'll write you a ticket for watering your lawn.
unidentified
Bad.
tim in california
Just so you know, there's more than one big fire right now, and they're very close to each other.
The Palisades Fire is 15,832 acres at last count.
The Eaton Fire that started last night out by Pasadena, it's in Altadena.
It's right by the Rose Bowl.
This thing's 10,600 acres already.
And I'm sandwiched in between the Palisades Fire and the Hearst Fire in Silmar, which is 500-plus acres.
These are all out of control, 0% containment.
We got a new one called the Woodley Fire.
That's also here in the Valley, where the 405 and the 101 intersect.
We have a new one up in Santa Clarita, just off the 14 Freeway, off Soledad Canyon.
And regarding your water issue at the Palisades Fire, they had three one-million-gallon tanks, and they filled them up in advance.
And because the demand was so great, they're drawing it down.
You know, it's not people flushing toilets.
I mean, they're really running that waterhouse as fast as they can go.
And although they have a pressurized, you know, water system to try to fill those tanks up, they're drawing it down faster than it can fill up.
And, of course, the guys at the higher elevations are the ones that can't get enough water pressure to get it up there.
But basically, you've got a combination of two steep of terrains and people building in homes in the middle of the forest.
And that's the other thing is when you think of a forest, you think like at the tree line of 7,000 or 8,000 feet of elevation where it's lush and it's green and it's, you know, oh, it's...
Got lots of moisture and stuff.
These trees are, in large part, planted here knowing we could use water that's brought here down Moholland's water channel.
There really is no water here.
This really is a desert.
It's all the big pretend thing, all the landscaping you see.
If it weren't for mankind coming here, it would look just like the Arizona desert.
That's exactly what it would look like.
And for that matter, you can go up north to the Palmdale and Lancaster, and that's called the High Desert.
owen shroyer
Well, you know, that just kind of proves that civilization, humans, can build a paradise even in the desert.
I mean, you know, look at what they've done in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar.
But speaking of California, I mean, we can take a desert and turn it into a beautiful, sprawling metropolis.
Plenty of trees and different kinds of trees and everything.
So we certainly have the capabilities to make sure we can get water there as well.
tim in california
If not for corrupt politicians using it as a power grab to play with all the farmers up north.
owen shroyer
It's the oldest trick in the book.
The oldest trick in the book.
Holding back water for power.
I mean, how many different movies?
There's Batman movies, James Bond movies, Mad Max movies.
I mean, how many different movies is it?
Where the corrupt power people are holding back water to maintain power.
Well, it's the damn Democrats in California.
tim in california
That's it.
I mean, if you're driving under State 5 and going through Central California, you'll see sections of land, 640 acres at a time of land.
And just for children's entertainment as they're driving, so that they won't say, are we there yet?
It'll say what it is.
It's like, Mom, what is that?
Mom, okay, that's the avocado tree grove.
And what's this on the right?
Oh, those are soybeans.
But it'll tell you.
But then all of a sudden you come along, it's this huge swath of land, just bare and dirt.
Nothing but dirt.
And it'll have a sign that says, hey, this is brought to you by this following group of politicians that won't let us have water.
owen shroyer
It's unbelievable.
It's unbelievable.
All right.
Thank you for the call, Tim.
So, Newsweek has this headline.
There will be follow-up reports, I'm sure.
Haven't really heard anybody of our California callers mention this yet.
We did have that viral video of the woman saying this.
California insurer canceled policies months before Los Angeles wildfires.
Now, that's not, you know, beyond a reasonable doubt proof of anything other than they just knew it was a bad business decision to insure California homeowners because it's just a bad business decision.
And so that's what Musk just posted about moments ago.
People say it's already impossible to get insurance in California.
What happens after this?
Insurance companies are faced with either leaning California or going bankrupt.
Either path leads to no insurance long term.
So, I mean, you could go with the conspiratorial response and say, oh, there was prior knowledge.
They knew it was coming.
Or you could go with the probably more likely response, which is they've realized that the insurance companies can't afford to provide homeowners insurance in California because it's too expensive for them and their bottom line.
So they can't basically just sit here and, as Musk says, lean California versus going bankrupt.
Which is exactly the situation.
And since you don't have competent leadership that makes sure these fires don't happen, it's a high-risk situation.
And so the insurance companies basically just pull out.
Which is not...
I mean, the logic here remains consistent.
If you're getting health insurance and you eat unhealthy...
And you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and you drink a bottle of booze a night.
Well, you know, and you've got diabetes or whatever else because of it.
Well, your insurance is going to cost more than somebody that takes good care of their body and isn't a major liability.
I mean, God bless it, knock on wood, but I mean, you provide insurance to Owen Schroer, you literally are paying like $0 a year.
You provide insurance to somebody that has to go to the hospital five times a year and has other problems, and that's an expensive client.
But it's the same thing with homeowner's insurance.
High-risk situation with wildfires in California.
The Democrat, the liberal government, does nothing to mitigate the risk factor, so the insurance companies just pull out.
Say, sorry, not going to do it.
So that's what it is.
California is the...
The person that eats unhealthy, smokes a pack a day, drinks a bottle of booze a night, never exercises, all kinds of health problems, and so the insurance company just says, sorry, can't insure you.
That's California.
And that's a good analogy.
Let's go to Zach in California.
Zach, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hello, Owen.
This is Zach.
I am very, very thankful to be talking to you folks at InfoWars.
I pray for you folks every day.
owen shroyer
Thank you.
unidentified
I actually met you in Vegas at the Trump Tower.
Picked up the tab.
The reason for my phone call today is I've been out of Northern California.
We dealt in 2017, we dealt with the Paradise Fire, called the Camp Fire.
Ended up taking out that whole town.
That day, super windy, higher winds than normal coming up through the Feather River Canyon.
Prior to that fire, PG&E used to pay third-party subcontractors to go out to all the PG&E wires, poles, and clean up the debris, clean up the trees coming over the power lines.
A lot of those subcontractors, they were basically just working for two hours, filling up their truck with debris, and then peeling off to the side where you can't be seen.
So that was a whole scam there where these third-party subcontractors were basically taking our taxpayer money and not doing the job they were supposed to do.
owen shroyer
And didn't P&E end up coming out and admitting that it was one of their lines that caused it?
unidentified
There's been a couple different PG&E fires recently, and yes, they did have to pay for life and death and the destruction of, like, Paradise Fire, for example.
But then, after the Paradise Fire in 2018, there was lightning strikes on another fire that was either Bear Fire or Dixon Fire.
A local logging company reached out to the fire department, and it was actually on national forest land.
And told them, hey, we got equipment right about 100 yards away.
You want us to put out this fire?
And they basically threatened that logging company and said, you go put out that fire, we're going to put you out of business.
And so that fire ended up standing.
And then CAL FIRE came in and tried doing a backfire against it, and that got out of hand and caused even more damage than the original fire.
So it's been a little bit of a crazy thing.
I will say, I do construction.
So for the last three years, California has been threatening different homeowners.
Hey, they're going to get...
Drop your insurance if you don't change these things up around your house.
So we have to go take the eaves off, put concrete boarding up, clear all the trees, clear all the shrubs around the house just so a lot of these folks can keep their insurance.
And even if they're able to keep it, most of them can't really afford it.
And one thing I wanted to say with the Paradise Fire was really interesting with some of the staff coming out of it.
And there's definitely a young lady out of Chico that's kind of up-to-date on it.
I can't remember her name.
But, for example, up in Paradise, California, You had 70% of the people that lived up there own their house outright.
It wasn't in a mortgage, it wasn't in a house outright.
Over 60% of the individuals that lived up there were on Social Security or Medicare.
And I really feel it was a way for them just to push people into the metropolitan area and to basically make these people have to go spend more money and things on those lines.
owen shroyer
Yeah, and then you take a house that they purchased probably for half the price that it would go for on the market, too.
unidentified
And during that time, that's when the Rockefeller Foundation was trying to push that 100 resilient cities.
We're all going to be resilient.
We're going to have...
And so it's very interesting.
Right after the Paradise Fire and a couple other fires around the nation, they started talking about we're resilient.
And it played right into the Rockefeller type of script on that plan.
The last thing I want to mention is right after the 2017 fire, I used to work with National Guard quite a bit for charity stuff.
And a lot of people don't understand that...
When a C-130 gets retired by the military, you have private individual citizens that are able to purchase those planes and use them for their own use.
So, for example, in the United States, there's over 28 C-130 planes, and they've all been retrofitted to be able to fight these fires.
So in California, Gavin Newsom has turned down the third-party, not free, you still have to pay for fuel and everything, but the third-party help of these retired veterans with their own C-130s to be able to come in.
They can put these C-130s in the air, seven of them anywhere in the nation, and have a fire put out in three hours.
Now, Gavin Newsom earlier this year had this whole press conference about, hey, we've got a C-130 to be able to fight fires.
It was only the way of working with the local unions they're even allowing that C-130.
The unions were the ones that were basically saying, hey, we don't want your C-130s.
That's a private organization.
We'll take care of it in the state.
So there's just a whole bunch of things where trust your gut.
This is planned.
This is part of an extermination.
But also, I think the individual that called in about the high-speed rail, it does fall in place that, hey, we can't really go in and take this land.
But if we burned everyone out and then bulldozed over it and then took it, then we're going to be able to have our five-speed trail or train.
owen shroyer
Well, hold right there for a second, Zach.
Just hold for a second.
A couple things you bring up.
The people trying to help.
And it reminds me a lot of the same phenomenon where Daniel Penny goes and tries to help people on a subway and then he's the bad guy.
So it's like the same thing.
By the way, we saw that in North Carolina during the hurricane too.
So that logging company trying to help put out the fire, the government says, no, don't you dare, we'll arrest you.
You try to fly people out of a hurricane in North Carolina, government says, we'll arrest you.
You try to stop a deranged lunatic from harassing people and threatening people on a...
Subway, the government arrests you.
So it's this weird, you know, the Good Samaritan is now the criminal.
And then, of course, you have no more Good Samaritans and everything falls apart.
So that's just a familiar story that we continue to hear now.
I believe, when you talk about the C-130s, I think it's like the Russians have mastered using aircraft putting out fires.
Like, they've mastered it using aircraft.
And I know they have different aircraft than we have, but that was a story I remember that came out of Russia.
I think it was in 2018 or 17 when that fire happened, or maybe it was the Bear Fire.
And I remember researching that, and it was like, well, why don't we do what the Russians do?
They're like, they've mastered it.
Okay, but last thing, Zach, before I let you go.
Was it you?
Was it you guys?
I think it was you and your wife.
You guys sent me the old-fashioned, and then we come out, and I hung out at the bar with you guys for a minute.
Was that you, Zach?
unidentified
No, I... When you guys sat down for your steak dinners and everything, I picked up the chat there, and then he came over, and you and I got a picture, and I text you a picture of you and I staying together so you can send it to your mom.
owen shroyer
Yeah, there were so many great people at the Trump Hotel there.
unidentified
Are you going to be at the inauguration?
owen shroyer
I'm not committing to that, no.
unidentified
Okay, I'll be out there, so I'll reach out to InfoWars.
If you guys need anything at all, I was at the last one for Trump, and it's a great time.
I understand if you're not going to be there, but we'll take care of all the InfoWars out there while they're there.
owen shroyer
God bless you, Zach.
You know, it might be just worth responding to that question here.
I don't want to really necessarily speak for InfoWars, but I'll just say that Alex and I had a similar response to this.
Do we want to go to the inauguration?
And it's obviously a historical event, but Alex and I's gut...
And it was Rob Dew that asked me about it the other day and he was talking to Alex about it.
And we both had the same gut reaction because Rob just asked me and I said, you know, this is like the highest security risk event ever.
I just don't even know if I want to go.
If you've ever been to the inauguration, it's like obnoxiously impossible to get around D.C. Like the whole city is shut down.
Foot traffic is insane.
I mean, it's a damn zoo.
So I was just like, yeah, do we need to be there for...
Coverage purposes and, you know, the historical aspect of it.
Maybe, you know, people inviting me to these events, I feel guilty saying no.
But it's also just like such a high-risk event, high-security risk event.
And again, quite frankly, folks, the fate of Infowars is in the balance.
We don't have the budget for security.
We don't have the budget to send a crew and do it like it needs to be done.
So that's kind of a factor.
It's kind of a mitigating factor too.
So since Zach asked, I figured I'd just answer because other people are asking me that too.
So that's kind of where it's at right now.
Maybe Alex will address that.
I don't know.
I'm not going to speak for Alex.
But that's basically where things are at.
And so just right before the inauguration, we'll have another rollercoaster ride of...
The fate of info was being decided.
So I'm not going to spend much time on that either, but people are asking me, and so Zach brought it up, so I figured I'd answer his question.
All right.
We got one more segment coming up.
I do have all our other callers on the line in California.
We have some other callers on the line they've been holding as well that want to talk, but since they weren't in California, I've just been prioritizing the California callers.
But we'll try to clear up the phone lines.
I do have some other headlines.
Maybe we'll try to cover a couple videos.
But as I said, we're going to dedicate the coverage to this fire.
And I would imagine there's going to be a lot of developments in the next 21 and a half hours before we come back on air for this show.
Because there's multiple fires now.
And now there's other angles of the insurance companies.
There'll probably be new angles of people that were trying to help that got turned down.
So all of this stuff is just going to get amplified in the next day or two.
And if these fires continue to be 0% contained, then we could have another dramatic night tonight before they're expecting things to calm down and the winds to die down tomorrow when they might be able to actually get control of this thing.
And you've got other firefighters that they're trying to bring in, obviously, as well.
So, God bless the firefighters.
And, I mean, can you imagine?
You're surrounded in flames, and you're going in there with a hose, which is basically just tiny in comparison to the flames you're fighting, and you've got to save people's lives and try to save their property.
I mean, that's a serious job.
It's not for lesbians.
Lesbian can't do it, but no, it's for strong men.
And it's for highly capable individuals that are strong mentally and physically.
So if that just happens to be a lesbian woman, so be it.
But they prioritize hiring lesbians, and that's what they care about, not fighting fires.
So, God bless the firefighters.
Let's hope the death toll remains low, or, I mean, none.
But it's just not looking good.
It's already being reported as the worst fire in Los Angeles history, and they don't even know when or how they're going to contain it yet, folks.
So that's what's going on there.
And your governor and your mayor are pretty much worthless.
In fact, most of their policies are responsible for this.
Democrat policies.
Liberal ideologies.
You want to see the result?
Look no further than Southern California today.
That's what Democrat policies and liberal ideologies do.
You know, a joke was made at the Golden Globes in California a couple days ago.
The joke hits a little differently today, doesn't it, in clip 18?
unidentified
Who got shouted out the most?
Let's look at the numbers.
All right.
Cast and crew are leading the way with 11 mentions.
Moms are holding strong with three shout outs.
God, creator of the universe, zero mentions.
And Mario Lopez, host of Access Hollywood, won.
All right.
No surprise in this godless town.
Yeah.
owen shroyer
Yeah, you elect godless leaders, become godless people.
Don't really want to say anything else.
It's really unfortunate.
All right, we've got a couple other callers in California.
We'll take some other calls from around the country as well on this issue.
Folks, remember though, remember one last time before we sign off for the day, this is your last night.

Back to the phone lines.
Let's go to Mike in California.
Mike, you're on the air.
unidentified
air go ahead going on and i want to touch on what some of your callers were saying about like the firefighters trained down the hill from that ac or the c-130s so you have to be in a contract with cal fire or the fed to be able to put your equipment on a fire because they have to it's a really big bureaucracy thing so they won't like over here at the car fire up here in redding they're the dozer that drove by the fire when it first started to
He could have got his dozer around that thing in a couple of hours, but since he wasn't on that government contract, they made him load that dozer up and drive off that site.
So you have to be contracted with those guys for you to go out there.
Another thing, the insurance company, they've been doing that for the last year.
They tried kicking me off insurance.
I had to pay $15,000 for a new roof, a new electrical panel.
And they still kicked me off.
I had to get a hold of California insurance.
You know, like, I turned them into California pretty much to make California twist their arm to reinstate my insurance.
Because there is no other insurance provider that will insure my house up here in Northern California.
The other thing I want to talk about is the firefighter waste.
Like, I run dozers or graders out there on fire sometimes.
And, like, I'll get deployed to a fire.
And I'll sit there with the tractor in the low bed for three days sometimes before we even get deployed out onto a fire line.
And those firefighters, they got it down because on their 15th day, they get paid in a ridiculous amount of overtime.
I couldn't have the days wrong, but they get paid a ridiculous amount of overtime.
So they have a system that if they stay out there, if they keep that incident alive for a certain amount of time, they get a crazy amount of overtime.
And when you don't have a fire season, a heavy fire season, those firefighters that are used to getting a ridiculous amount of money, you know, brand new Tahoe, cool fishing boat, and all that other stuff, and then they don't have a fire season with all of the overtime, all that stuff goes up for sale.
So those firefighters, it's in their best interest to let that fire burn.
And what I think to fix that thing, if they prioritized it and they just said, hey, you, you know, you with a bunch of dozers, if you took care of this ridge, we're going to give you X amount of dollars.
But that's it.
And if that fire goes off, you have to contain that fire with that certain amount of money.
I think that's the only way to get these wild...
owen shroyer
You know, I don't really know what's going on.
So like budget it out and then whatever is excess they can claim?
unidentified
Yeah.
No, no.
That $5 million, stick it in your bank account.
But you're going to have to pay somebody to go out there into those mountains and take care of those areas because we don't...
They don't go out to the logging roads up here in Northern California.
That's where I live.
But up here in these Northern California mountain roads, logging roads, if they were to create fire breaks 100 feet on either side of that road, boom, that's an instant fire break.
You know what I mean?
Those who don't need to go out there and cut that line and clear that brush to stop that fire because it's already put in place.
If you take it out of Cal Fire's hands and put it into, say, a logging outfit up here.
If you put it into their hands and say, here's this money, but you don't get any more.
If your fire goes out of control, it's on you.
You're going to take the loss, and sometimes you're going to have a bad year, and sometimes you're going to have a good year.
But I think that's because, like I said, those firefighters, they got it down.
They know if they sit here and waste, and like I said, bro, I sat on a dozer, and I'm getting paid $550 a day to run the dozer.
And then my boss, he's making his money.
I'm sure it's $4,000 a day for my dozer to sit out there, and I sat there.
Multiple times for days on end, you know what I mean?
So it's a huge mismanagement of money, tax dollars, and it's extremely wasteful.
They don't take care of these mountains, and I think the only way to secure these crazy mountain fires that we have up here in Northern California that not a lot of people even care about, that's the only way we're going to have to be able to fight that off, in my opinion.
That water, that Delta smell?
We have so much water coming out of Northern California, we don't know what to do with it.
And they dump that water right into the Delta, the Sacramento Delta, for those Delta smelt that one guy was talking about, those little minnows he was trying to say.
Those Delta smelt is supposed to feed some other, you know, ecosystem.
But, like, they die at the end of the year every year.
So we're wasting all this freaking water.
You know, we're just dumping it down the drain.
And we could be creating reservoirs up here.
We have a seven-sites reservoir that we're going to be putting in up here, but it's been gummed up in government bureaucracy, too, because they don't want us to store water for some reason.
It's pretty insane, the water mismanagement up here.
owen shroyer
Yeah, and I would just say there shouldn't be some sort of a bureaucratic, regulationary barrier or blockade from citizens doing what needs to be done or helping people.
unidentified
Yeah.
For volunteers, absolutely.
But in the same sense, you are getting put into a very dangerous situation.
You know what I mean?
I've ran a dozer where I'm putting dirt on the fire.
You know what I mean?
You're right.
There's fire curtains.
You got the fire curtain down because it's so damn hot in the cab of the tractor, AC on and below, and then it's still hotter than hell in there.
You know what I mean?
So just having some Yahoo that doesn't know what he's doing going out there and doing that type of stuff, I can see how that could be a dangerous situation.
But, you know, like...
That situation where that dozer hand tried to unload his dozer and ring that fire, the car fire, and it turned into a firenado or whatever.
Get a movie out of it.
Some poor guy died in there as a dozer operator.
But, you know, that type of stuff, like, he could have done it, and he should have just kept going.
And, you know, just go ahead and do it, you know?
You might spend a little bit of time in jail or whatever, but you know what I mean?
You're going to save lives.
You're going to save, you know, homes.
Yeah, them stepping on people.
To try to volunteer is bad, but I can also see somewhere where it is kind of good to, you know, proper training and that type of stuff.
owen shroyer
All right.
Appreciate that breakdown, Mike.
By the way, there are new evacuation orders.
There are about a 300,000 population dense area in the Santa Monica area has just been put under evacuation orders.
New fires are now starting.
So they still don't have this.
They're still saying 0% contained.
unidentified
Yeah, it's terrible.
owen shroyer
So I don't know, folks, again, they're going to have to wait and see when they can even start to try to contain this, or if they can even contain this.
They're expecting the winds to die down tomorrow, but it's still bad and getting worse.
All right, let's take another call here.
Let's go to Colleen in Pennsylvania.
Colleen, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hello, all.
I just wanted to explain a few things that maybe you don't know.
There's two fire departments in LA. There's the LA City Fire Department, which has about 3,500 people, employees.
And then there's Los Angeles County Fire that has also about 3,500 people.
So there are two different fire departments.
I agree with the last caller.
The union, these people, believe me, I know, make an absolute fortune by working in the overtime.
Okay, do they intend to mean harm?
No, I don't believe that.
But my now ex-husband, sadly, after 43 years, he made over $400,000 a year, literally, with the union.
So it's important that people understand the difference that what goes on in L.A. Now, in terms of the climate there, because I lived there most of my life, no, it's very, very, very dry.
It is, like one of your callers said, it's a desert.
Now, in terms of getting water to the people in Southern California, generally we take it from the Colorado River.
And my friends over in Arizona, they do not like the fact that Californians spill the water so that we can water our lawns and whatnot.
And they're not wrong.
The Delta, as your last caller just mentioned, yeah, it's true.
I mean, that is where a lot of water comes from.
But in terms of just explaining how it works in California, it is absolutely a desert.
Really not right that we try to get water, fresh water, that is, not the ocean.
owen shroyer
They make it in a...
It's a false scarcity, though, really.
And that's not to say that it's not a desert, but they've already built infrastructures.
They already have water available.
It's a false scarcity.
They're intentionally draining the reservoirs, and they're intentionally diverting...
Natural water flow into the ocean.
So they could have the water.
They could have plenty of water.
They are intentionally making sure California doesn't have water.
And of course it's fighting climate change or whatever garbage they want to use.
But that's the real story.
And the Democrats won't change a thing.
They won't change a thing.
There'll be no resignations.
There'll be no apologies.
There'll be no sense of guilt.
They could not care less.
Alright, thank you for the call, Colleen.
I want to, again, offer the line to people in California if you want to call in at this point.
877-789-2539.
877-789-2539.
We've got some other callers on the line, but in the last couple minutes here, I'd rather just hear from people in California.
Let me cover a couple of things here before we sign off.
Hakeem Jeffries confused by Trump's obsession with Greenland.
Oh, he's confused.
Well, I'm not surprised he's confused, and he doesn't get it at all, because he's probably not the successful businessman with the world knowledge that Trump has.
No, Greenland is very strategic.
In fact, America offered, I believe it was $100 million for Greenland some decades ago.
Denmark rejected it at the time, but the U.S. has already made a play for Greenland before.
It's a military strategy.
It's a trade route strategy.
It's not just some obsession with Greenland, like a little trinket or something.
No, there's a strategy there.
There's something very real there.
And by the way, Trump has all the negotiating power here.
Because Denmark relies on NATO money.
So Denmark, a NATO country, takes our money for protection.
Okay?
So, yeah, there is a power play to be made.
And as Trump said yesterday as well, we'll just tariff anything coming in from Denmark and we'll see how they like that.
So this isn't some trinket.
This is Trump engaging in a military strategy and a trade route strategy, knowing that he can put a power play on Denmark and come out on the better side of it.
So I'm not surprised that Hakeem Jeffries is confused.
He looks like a confused person.
And he just doesn't get it.
So stay in your lane, Hakeem.
Clearly you're way over your head trying to figure out what's going on with Greenland.
Louisiana mayor arrested after drug trafficking investigation.
This is a crazy story.
He was allegedly running drugs, soliciting prostitutes, using taxpayer dollars to put them up in Airbnbs.
Wild story there.
But you know what's funny is he's done more public statements for the press than Karen Bass has.
So even though this guy's going through it with that, he's speaking to the public more so than even Karen Bass is.
Whose city's burning to the ground?
Kamala Harris announces today, President Biden and I finalized a rule that will eliminate medical debt from your credit score.
As someone who has spent my career fighting to protect consumers and lower medical bills, I know our historic rule will help more Americans save money, build wealth, and thrive.
unidentified
Hmm.
owen shroyer
I can see both sides of that debate.
Pretty newsworthy report, actually, right there.
President Biden and Harris finalized a rule that will eliminate medical debt from your credit score.
All right.
Trump posted a very interesting video.
On his Truth Social account, maybe we'll have to wait and cover that tomorrow, because we do have other callers from California I want to get on here before we sign off in just a couple minutes.
So let's go to Dana, who just called in, who's driving around.
Is that true, Dana?
What's going on?
unidentified
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I was up in Maria del Rey this morning, and they had the streets closed off.
The police closed off Lincoln and parts of Washington.
It was really eerie this morning.
It was like that ball of fire, the sun coming up.
You could just, you know, the smoke and ash are everywhere.
The wind's blowing like crazy.
And it's really tough.
We had meetings canceled.
We were supposed to be in Beverly Hills today, and they shut down some of the freeways.
They closed all the school systems today.
So we're just sitting here trying to...
Wait out the winds to calm down, and hopefully things will get better.
But that's really what's going on here.
I'm right here by the airport.
owen shroyer
So, you know, Marina Del Rey and then Santa Monica, they just issued the evacuation order for Santa Monica.
Is the pier at risk?
Is Marina Del Rey being evacuated?
What's the latest?
unidentified
Honestly, I don't think so, because those are...
Cities, you know, you've got neighborhoods.
There's not a lot of brush there.
Probably not really in danger.
Out by El Segundo, Playa del Rey.
I mean, they're just homes and things like that.
Yes, there's ash in the air.
Not a lot of embers.
It's kind of clearing up right now because of the wind.
The wind's blowing things out the sea.
But when you get inland into Topanga and all these areas, there's a lot of brush.
And the fires take off that way, just the way it happens here.
But when you get to the suburbs, it's not too much happening.
It's just, you know, I mean, it smells like somebody's doing a campfire.
That's what the air is like here.
It's pretty bad.
owen shroyer
That's an eerie image.
We pulled it up on the screen as you described it.
The ball of fire just kind of glaring through the haze of the smoke.
I mean, that is, wow.
unidentified
That's what it is.
And it's going to continue.
I mean, it's going to continue through the night because things aren't contained here.
And we just hope for the best.
The thing that you guys were talking about this morning when I first woke up and turned InfoWars on, it is true.
There was a developer talking about Pacific Palisades and the fact that there's no water available to the firemen.
owen shroyer
Yeah, that was Rick Caruso, billionaire real estate developer.
He actually ran for mayor.
He was a qualified candidate, a good candidate.
He actually ran for mayor.
He lost to Karen Bass, the incompetent, selfish woman that she is.
She might be gay, though, so she's good.
But yeah, that's Rick Caruso.
I didn't play that clip today, but that's who you're talking about.
unidentified
Yes, yes.
And that's sad.
It is sad.
They fight over this whole fish situation, routing water in California from the Delta.
It makes no sense.
Everybody sees it.
I mean, if you drive up the Central Coast, you will see the...
The farms there that are just, I mean, they're bleak.
It's horrible.
And the insurance thing, I mean, we've got a house here, and the insurance situation is really tough.
You know, what happens is the insurance companies pull out.
We had State Farm.
State Farm raised the homeowner's insurance to $18,000 a year, so we would drop it.
And then what happens is there's something called California Fair Plan.
Which is some state-funded situation where you can get homeowner's insurance for the structure only.
But then you have to get another policy for any internal contents of your home.
So typical home insurance policy for me is $8,000 just to do that.
And it's kind of crazy.
So that's what you deal with here.
And it's really sad for folks who don't have insurance.
I mean, they're going to have a total loss in this area.
And who knows what's going to happen from there.
owen shroyer
Are you in the Marina del Rey area?
unidentified
Actually, I also got to.
owen shroyer
Okay.
Well, let's hope that those areas can remain out of this mess, but it's still 0% contained.
We'll continue to monitor this.
Thank you for the call.
Let's go to Tim in California.
Tim, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
tim in california
Okay, Owen, I'll make it super quick.
So sorry, but here, I forgot to tell you, it's so important.
On Friday, Donald Trump, before he became president again, he was at Rancho Palos Verdes.
They were having all these hillsides that were sliding and collapsing, a landslide.
And he was there.
He came by to visit.
He made a little bit of a campaign talk in front of the microphones.
And what his major thing that he talked about was this whole water thing.
owen shroyer
Yeah, we played that clip earlier.
Thank you for the call.
Let's go to Mike in California.
Mike, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Hey, what's up, Owen?
owen shroyer
Howdy.
unidentified
Uh, let's see.
Uh, yeah.
Oh, you there?
Yeah.
owen shroyer
All right, we see you never problem.
Let's go to Brandon in California.
Brandon, you're on the air.
Go ahead.
unidentified
Owen, I just had one question that kind of caught my attention here with all these fires going on.
if we have the ability to cloud feed all these other areas, why don't we have the ability to use our weather modification technologies to do something like put these fires out? - Yeah, and there was a caller that brought this up in the second hour.
owen shroyer
We kind of briefly got into that.
I know they do the weather modification in the cloud seeding here in Texas.
They have public programs about it.
They do public hearings about it.
I've gone to them.
Interviewed the people.
Filmed them.
So there's no doubt.
And we can even see the results.
And they don't have it down to an exact science.
When they did it, I think it was 2017 or 18, they kind of overdid it.
Caused some flooding.
So they had hearings about that.
They kind of scaled it back.
But, I mean, you can see it here in Texas.
They'll do the cloud seeding.
And they didn't really do it all summer.
And then, kind of in the beginning of fall, they did it.
And then we finally got some rain after like 60 days without any rain.
I don't know why they can't do that in California.
Maybe they can, maybe they can't.
Maybe the environment or the climate is different, so they don't have it down.
But regardless, they could certainly engage in something to try to mitigate this stuff.
I mean, they can do it in the desert in the Middle East.
They talk about it in...
I think they talked about it when they had the World Cup in Qatar, basically cloud seeding and Trying to bring temperatures down because, you know, guys playing soccer run around, they don't want to do it in 120 degrees.
So absolutely this technology exists.
But see, when you bring it up, they would say, no, it doesn't exist.
That's what's so crazy about it.
It's all public.
It's all government documents.
They have hearings, everything.
I mean, I even tune into some of the top conservative radio hosts.
Their callers will bring it up and they'll say, there's no such thing.
It doesn't exist.
And then a slew of calls will follow up after that and say, yeah, it does.
Sorry, you're wrong on this.
But I don't know.
If you ask that to anybody involved in California, the governor, the mayor, they would say, nope, doesn't exist.
Even though we all know it does.
So I don't know.
That's maybe another thing that we kind of throw into the pile of why.
And maybe it was done intentionally.
But either way, you're looking at intentional incompetence.
Or criminal negligence, and it's disgusting.
It's disgusting that the mayor hasn't resigned, that the fire chief hasn't resigned.
Of course, I wouldn't expect Gavin Newsom to resign.
He's about to run for president, so that wouldn't really work good for him.
But it was their policies, it was their ideologies that did it, and I just proved it for the first hour and a half of this show.
And I could have brought more.
I could have done it for three hours, but I wanted to take calls from California.
But I could have done it for three hours if I wanted to.
Pray for the folks in California, still 0% contained.
We'll continue to follow up with reporting, and we'll see you again tomorrow.
alex jones
