I was crunching some numbers in Nevada, and while these are obviously rough numbers because we don't get the exact numbers, but with the numbers that I have available to me, if the trends continue to the close of the counting in Clark County and in Washaw County, Masto is going to overtake Laxalt and win by less than 10,000 votes. | ||

| It's kind of been floating out there around in the news for a minute, but let's get the update from Tyler now on the phone. | ||

| What are you hearing about the diesel crisis that we might be facing shortly? | ||

Yes, sir. I just want to say, first of all, it's a pleasure to be back on the show. | |
| If you remember, I was on your show this past spring in person and repping Abilene Freedom League. | ||
| And back then, the hot topic was the Freedom Convoy. | ||
| But now the hot topic, like you mentioned, is the fuel shortage. | ||
| And so for those of you that don't know, I'm a fuel hauler out of the Abilene, Texas region, which they consider the key city to the west, about two hours east of the Permian Basin, which is some of the largest oil and gas production in the world. | ||
| Right now, just to put things in perspective, there's two places out of Abilene that fuel haulers can get their fuel from. | ||
| As of right now, we're barely able to get any out of those two places in Abilene, which is where we usually get our fuel from. | ||
| What that's doing is that's forcing fuel haulers in the area to go out east. | ||
| You know, two and a half hours out from Abilene to go get their fuel. | ||
| And they're having to drive all the way back to Abilene, even as far as an hour back west of Abilene, just to deliver fuel. | ||
| And what that's doing is that's creating a great strain on the local supply to the point to where we're having gas stations that are starting to run out just because we can't keep up having to drive those long distances. | ||
| And so to put that perspective, both those locations in Abilene, that's where we get the fuel from, they get their fuel from refineries. | ||
| One out from West Texas and Big Springs, and the other is actually connected all the way to Houston. | ||
| And both of those places are having trouble getting fuel right now, just to put that kind of perspective for you. | ||
| And so the place we're getting it right now, that fuel comes all the way out from the coast. | ||
| And I just came from the Big Springs oil refinery about a week ago, and they're producing diesel. | ||
| I know that for a fact. The question is, where is all that diesel going? | ||
| And I have reason to believe that these refineries, what they're doing is they're actually sending the majority of that diesel that they're producing out to the East Coast via rail line. | ||
| And we know about all the oil and gas problems that they have out there as we speak. | ||
| So do you think this is an initiative to make sure the Northeast doesn't freeze out considering the energy crisis overall that we're facing as a nation? | ||
| Or do you think something else is going on? | ||
| Because we shouldn't be having this problem in Texas. | ||
| We're a very oil rich state. | ||
| I mean, even with the Biden administration shutting off the pipeline, still Texas should be better off. | ||
| Are you hearing about these shortages anywhere else or is it just hitting hard in Texas right now? | ||

Well, we know they're going on in other places, and it's hard to believe that it's isolated to this area. | |

| I mean, they have a supply issue, and it makes sense for these companies to want to sell that and transport it over to the East Coast because we're making tremendous profits. | ||
| But at the same time, we're starting to see the strain here in the local areas where we're actually getting the oil and the gas from. | ||
| So, but, you know, what's going on is not natural. | ||
| I mean, this is, you know, it's hard to see that this isn't somehow planned because this doesn't just happen on a regular basis. | ||
| We should be up and running right now full force and that's just not happening. | ||
| Are there any signs, indications that you know of that this is just a temporary thing or, I mean, what is the, is there a solution that we know of in the future or is this the normal now until it gets even worse and everybody knows about it? | ||

Well, I'll tell you this. This time of year, around this time of year, a lot of the oil refineries, what they do, it's called a turnaround, right? | |
| So they start doing maintenance. | ||
| So when it starts getting colder, they focus their production on winterized-grade fuel. | ||
| So that way it doesn't freeze in your tanks, etc. | ||
| But after they do so, they shut down for maintenance. | ||
| But the thing was, is these refineries, namely the Big Springs one that we received, product one from the West, They said that they opened back up. | ||
| And then they claimed that they were shutting down again for maintenance, and that's what the problem is. | ||
| But it doesn't make any sense. | ||
| I was just there. I know they're producing diesel. | ||
| So they're sending it out to the East Coast. | ||
| And is it going to be a long-term thing? | ||
| I don't know. Like I said, this isn't something that we're used to seeing, and we don't know how long they're going to be sending that diesel out there to the East Coast. | ||
| So what do you think the big story here is, and what do the American people need to know about it? | ||

Well, I mean, first of all, this is something that I hope you guys can verify because I've been talking to, you know, fuel brokers and different truck drivers that have been in this game for a long time. | |
| And the big topic recently has been the diesel emergency reserve that the nation has. | ||
| And from the people I've been talking to, we have every reason to believe that they've been having to tap into that recently to the tune of even to where we're going from that 25-day supply to even down to 15. | ||

| We're already at this pace of not pumping oil and not getting oil and not refining oil at the same pace, at the same rate we have in the past. | ||
