| The mother outside the courtroom getting emotional, the seven-year sentence, the children apparently turning him in like right out of 1984. | ||

| But back to talking about Guy Raffet, who got sentenced today. | ||
| He was sentenced yesterday to seven and a half years. | ||
| Guy Riffet was the first January 6th prisoner to be sentenced and actually went to trial. | ||
| And what was unique about the whole thing was that the prosecutor was trying to convince | ||
| the judge to enhance his sentence with terrorism, which hasn't really happened before. | ||
| Luckily, the judge didn't do it, but still gave him about seven and a half years in prison, | ||
| which has been the highest. | ||
| And remember, this is important too, because we just had the FBI whistleblower come out. | ||
| And say that the feds were pressuring federal prosecutors and federal investigators to up charges against conservatives for terrorism. | ||
| That was an FBI whistleblower just last week. | ||
| Now we saw it in this case. | ||
| Exactly. So in this case, it was very obvious that they're using Guy Ruffet because he was the first January 6th person to go to jury trial. | ||
| As an example of what will happen if you go to trial, don't take a plea deal and cooperate, that you're going to be charged or you're going to get the terrorism enhancement and We're good to go. | ||
| He had taken his sleeping medicine already and goaded him into conversations, political conversations that were taken to court and completely misconstrued. | ||
| Hyperbolic statements he made, rhetorical statements which are constitutionally protected by the way. | ||
| Stuff like, you know, about the country and maybe a civil war. | ||
| Whatever it was that he said in the thinking this was only going to be in his own home was aired out in court and that's really what buried him was the stuff that he said that was hyperbolic. | ||
| That was literally tape recorded, unfortunately, by his teenage son, who he has spoken to me about, and he really feels like the school system is what indoctrinated him, really turned him against his family. | ||
| No, this is actually a really important angle outside of the legal aspects of these defendants, because do you know how old his son was at the time? | ||
| I think he was 17 years old at the time. | ||
| Now he's probably about 19. | ||
| He might have just turned 18. | ||
| It was like a perfect storm of his son kind of going to Black Lives Matter. | ||
| He was a Black Lives Matter supporter at the time, going to all of those rallies in that summer, where his dad was going to the Trump rallies. | ||
| And they were literally completely at odds politically, just like the rest of the country, except like so many of us know, this could happen in someone's own household, literally. | ||
| With parents, with kids, they've taught us in America how to actually fight in our own households with our own families for our political arguments, which is ridiculous. | ||
| So you have this father and this son who are fighting over the dinner table, over politics, and it just became very serious to the point where the son felt it was necessary to turn his dad into the FBI for being there on January 6th. | ||
| And the FBI actually worked with him and instructed him how he could tape record him on the phone and how he could ask some certain loaded questions that would put him behind bars for a very long time. | ||
| And what was very sad was that a lot of us thought the son would probably come around, he'd feel bad, and he would actually, you know, apologize to the father, but he didn't. | ||
| And at sentencing, he wrote a letter to the judge asking the sentencing judge if she would please sentence his dad to the maximum time in prison because he needed Because his dad needed to be an example to the rest of the January Sixers who needed to be punished. | ||
| It's really so heartbreaking, honestly. | ||
| And now Guy Reffitt is living in a dystopian nightmare known as Democrat America as a political prisoner. | ||
| And... When I look at this, there's so many different angles. | ||
| It's not an uncommon thing for young boys of that age to kind of go against their fathers. | ||
| I remember me and my dad at that one point in time for a couple years didn't really have a great relationship. | ||
| I think that's a common thing for that age with men. | ||
| It's not an uncommon thing. | ||
| But then you add the propaganda that the kid was obviously seeing in the media. | ||

| Because I remember, you know, there was a short time in my life where me and my dad didn't really get along. | ||
| It was about the same age. And there was a period of time where politically we certainly didn't see eye to eye at all. | ||
| Those have all gone by the wayside. | ||
| Those maybe lasted maybe two years max. | ||
| But now they have this kid who's obviously at that point in his life as a young man going against his father, | ||
| believing all the political propaganda. | ||
| He doesn't have the experience to understand that it's just that, propaganda. | ||
| And not only like turns his father in to have him arrested, but this is like, I mean, can you imagine somebody, | ||
| it's like your best friend or something, in this case it's his son, gets you drunk, | ||
| sets you up to say something stupid on recording so that he can lock you away. | ||
| I mean, it's nightmarish. | ||
| I can't even imagine what this family is going through. | ||
| I felt so bad for the mom and daughters outside of the courtroom talking to the media. | ||
| And the scary thing is, he still thinks he's doing right because you look at his Twitter page, there's so many people on the left who are louting him as a hero, saying he's an American hero, and they're comparing him to all these heroic people that they think are heroes on the left. | ||
| CNN and a number of other mainstream media leftist organizations pushed his GoFundMe, which raised almost $200,000. | ||
| So people are telling him he did the right thing, and people on the left are calling him a hero literally every day. | ||
| So he's doubling down on it because the world is telling him that he did right. | ||
| So it's like these two parallel universes. | ||
| You have the comments on Gateway Pundit saying this kid is a traitor. | ||
| I would kill my son if he did this to me. | ||
| How could he do this to his dad? | ||
| Then you have comments on his Twitter page coming from the left. | ||
| You're a hero. Thank God for you that you turned in your dad. | ||
| You were so brave. How could I support you and send you money? | ||
| Well, it pays to be a liberal Democrat. | ||

| So she's down there as we speak. | ||
| She went down there yesterday. It was her first day. | ||
| She was with Nicole Raffet, Guy Raffet's wife, in the courtroom holding her hand. | ||
| She actually had to get up and leave the courtroom when the judge started praising the Capitol Police officers | ||
| that were heroes that day, because she was like, they killed my daughter and they're calling them heroes. | ||
| She got up and walked out of the room. | ||
| But last night they were in front of the actual, they were in front of the jail singing the national anthem, | ||
| waving at the guys, trying to get, like trying to see if they could see them through the | ||
| window and a bunch of jail guards came up to them, | ||
| supposedly, from what I understand, assaulted them. | ||
| They have it on video. | ||
| Smacked Ashley's mother's phone out of her hand and threatened. | ||
| now we're going to go see your guy. | ||
| Like, Guy, okay, you want to be smart with us? | ||
| Now we're going to go in there and basically insinuating they were going to do something to Guy. | ||
| Oh, now we're going to go see him. | ||
| So you're following this story, you're going to have it up on the Gateway Pundit? | ||

And there was survey after survey after survey, even a government survey from the Public Defender's Office that I reported on for Gateway Pundit, saying that there's no way that there will be a non-guilty verdict In Washington, D.C., | ||

| It's literally impossible. People have filed motion after motion after motion to get a change of venue. | ||
| They're not able to get a change of venue. | ||
| The judges actually mock. | ||
| There's a judge who actually quoted Anthony Bourdain in her motion back. | ||
| I don't even know how that's applicable when she denied the change of venue for one of the men who tried to get his venue changed to either Texas or even Virginia, which is very close. | ||
| To Washington, D.C. and was denied. | ||

| A lot of people are pushing it off until November, or a lot of people are just caving in and pleading and cooperating because they don't see any other way out. | ||
