Ladies and gentlemen, Owen Schroer here from InfoWars.com and I wanted to give you a quick
update here on this Sunday afternoon.
It's about to go on two o'clock here in a couple minutes about my legal case with the arrest warrant that has been making all the news on Friday and then the GoFundMe page which many of you had donated to and then disappeared.
So I'm just going to give a quick update.
First, let me address that.
We had a GoFundMe account.
Very little time to schedule or plan any of this when they release these documents on a Friday, right before the weekend.
But we were able to get a GoFundMe account up and running Saturday morning.
And it reached, I think, $23,000 within a few hours.
GoFundMe then sent me an email, suspended my account, Said it was under review, and I had to just address these three things in my account.
They gave me a bullet point of three things I needed to address.
I addressed them. They said they'd review it.
And then they just said, no, you're not allowed to do any crowdfunding.
So that's a pretty amazing precedent.
I didn't violate any laws.
They claimed that I violated the terms and conditions, but it was very ambiguous.
But that's not even the point.
Anybody can go on there and start a legal fund.
It's been done hundreds of times.
But I'm not allowed to. | ||
I'm not allowed to crowdfund.
And we talked to people who are really smart at GoFundMes and had run successful GoFundMe campaigns to make sure that we built the infrastructure right so that they couldn't have any reasons to take it down.
And, of course, it didn't matter.
They still took it down. So it was taking off for this huge legal defense that I'm going to have to mount against the federal government.
And they... Took it down right when it was hot.
A bunch of great people out there shared it, and I thank them so much for doing it.
And then they took all that.
So if you donated via GoFundMe, those funds, if they were ever even withdrawn, are going to be put back into your account.
But that has been shut down.
And I have been kicked off from crowdfunding on GoFundMe.
So I started a Give, Send, Go account.
Now the website is the same.
DefendOwen.com. The website is the same.
DefendOwen.com. | ||
You can go there and make your donation and I think we should be good with Give, Send, Go.
At least, in the meantime, that's where we will be crowdfunding for my legal defenses.
So I had to put that together today.
Now, I'm not going to say too much as far as the legal stuff is concerned right now because I still need to talk to lawyers and figure some I'm going to be live on the Alex Jones Show later this evening and then hosting Sunday Night Live, so there'll be a little more there as well.
I'll put it like this. | ||
I think any legal mind or any fair observer or neutral observer looks at this arrest warrant and just scratches their head.
At how illegitimate it is.
I'm obviously completely innocent of the charges.
I have to tell you, I've read the document, obviously, a number of times, and I'm reading it again before I go on here, and I'm just amazed.
I'm just amazed. And what people are saying to me is like, well, I'll talk about it later tonight on The Alex Jones Show, but it seems that we're truly in uncharted waters, unprecedented territory when it comes to this stuff.
And I'll have more on that Coming up tonight on The Jones Show and on Sunday Night Live, which you can find at Banned Out Video.
But I am innocent of the charges.
Quite frankly, I'm confused.
I'm confused at the allegations and the charges.
And I'm going to go bit by bit and show what it is that they're claiming I did that I didn't do.
And we have the entire body cam footage that shows that Infowars and our crew never had any intentions to disrupt anything, never had any intentions for any violence, and were on record trying to stop that from happening.
And you'll notice you don't see or hear from me much around the Capitol because I'm just there as a journalist covering it.
So when I'm down the streets doing a promo video talking about 1776, or I'm doing a report out on the other side of the Capitol grounds, I'm there as a journalist.
So is journalism illegal?
I don't think so. | ||
So there was never any intent to disrupt anything.
There was never any plan or coordination.
There was never any We were there because we wanted the Congressional process to go on.
We were there because we wanted to have a peaceful demonstration that we thought could change America for the better.
And obviously it got out of hand, and that's when you can see us.
I'm going to put the body cam footage on the back end of this video if you haven't seen it already.
And you can see our security team walking us around, trying to even coordinate with Capitol Police, saying, hey, we can try to stop this.
Let's get Alex Jones to stop this.
And by the time we were there, it was already too late, quite frankly.
And all we wanted to do was just get to the stage that we had set up that was going to be for speakers to speak.
And again, by the time we got to the Capitol, it was already breached.
It was already out of control. They had taken the rotunda where Biden's inauguration was going to go down.
This was all done by the time we even got to the Capitol.
So Again, it's obvious I'm innocent.
I had no intent. | ||
The timing of it doesn't even make sense.
I never went into the building.
We were never restricted anywhere as far as our walking is concerned.
You can see in the videos that we've uploaded that nobody ever tried to stop us.
Capitol Police never tried to stop us.
There were never any barricades we had to get over.
And we, again, tried to coordinate with Capitol Police saying, hey, Alex Jones can try to stop this.
And they said, it's really bad on the east side.
Why don't you try to go up on the steps?
And then you see the video of Alex Jones on the steps saying, don't be a part of this.
Retreat. Go back. This is not a good thing.
So it's clear-cut evidence that I had no intent of disrupting anything, no intent of any violence.
But this is where we get to the kind of unprecedented side of things where all of this from another case From years ago, over a year ago, almost two years ago, is all brought up Even though I would have completed all of the terms of that probation.
But, oh, I couldn't go in front of a judge or I couldn't do service hours because of COVID. As soon as I could get into a place to do service hours, I did all 32.
Now, there was a little mishap in the filing process and I accidentally sent it at 30 instead of 32.
But I did the 32. | ||
And I've sent that. They know that.
They have that document. It's all been signed.
They don't even care. But again, I'm going to get to more of this later on The Alex Jones Show and after I've spoken to some legal counsel to kind of understand it.
But, you know, this is a real pivotal moment, I believe, for America where an entire...
I mean, you want to talk about collusion, you want to talk about intent...
What was the collusion and intent on January 6th?
What was the federal government's involvement with that?
How close in scope is it to what happened in Michigan?
What about the media and them building up the hype?
So maybe if I was in D.C. in June of 2020, attacking police officers, destroying property, burning buildings, maybe if I was doing that, then they wouldn't be interested in me.
That would be okay. But because as a journalist and a reporter, I'm walking around with a security detail, mind you.
I can't break out of the security detail.
Millions of people. I need to stay in my detail.
And I'm walking around as a journalist.
No intent. Never violent.
Never did anything illegal.
Never went in any restricted areas.
Tried to coordinate with Capitol Police to stop the people from going inside and creating a worse situation.
All of it on video. | ||
And they still filed these charges against me.
So folks, I'd like to believe that this is going to be an easy in and out because of how ludicrous I believe these charges are, and pretty much every lawyer I've talked to has said the same thing.
It's beyond weak. It's just completely illegitimate.
And really, it's kind of an unseen thing.
But I'm going to have to mount this defense, and your support at DefendOwen.com is going to be key.
At DefendOwen.com. | ||
I'm an innocent man. | ||
I'm a God-loving man. | ||
I'm a good man. | ||
And... I never went there to do any of the things that they're claiming.
And it is widely believed that this is nothing short of total political persecution that is now happening in this country in mass scale.
So, in case you haven't seen it, I'm now going to upload body cam footage from January 6th from the guy who was leading our security detail around that day.
And you can clearly see Alex and the security detail trying to coordinate with Capitol Police To try to stop everything from going on.
And you can see that I'm not doing anything.
I'm not getting on bullhorns.
I'm not encouraging anything. I'm just going around as a journalist reporting on things.
And the claims that they're making are just completely untrue.
I'm innocent of all the claims. Here is proof that just shows the whole lie that there was any coordination with Infowars or anybody else, which they're now admitting there's no evidence of, was always a lie.
And again, that we were never restricted anywhere.
We walked around without any...
We didn't have to break any barricades.
We didn't have to go through any cops.
Nothing was ever restricting us.
Never went in the Capitol building.
and we tried to stop the madness from happening.
unidentified
|
We're not the communists behind them, we're patriots, we're peaceful,
and we're here because we love America, and we love each other, and we love the truth.
We need to not have the confrontation with the police.
We're going to make that the story.
I'm going to march to the other side where we have a stage where we can speak and occupy peacefully.
Get everybody behind you.
March to the other side.
March to the other side.
You guys have done it. | ||
You guys are great. | ||
But the police, provocateurs have caused a problem, and the police are throwing first things.
We don't want to have a kid state here.
Yes, tell people behind you, come off the stage.
We're not stealing the stage like the Democrats did.
You've done a great job coming out off of there.
Let's peacefully go over here.
Tell everyone you know, do not be part of this!
Tell everybody to keep on to this guy!
Provocators are setting us up!
Let's talk to them and see if we can get you on the platform and de-escalate it.
Hey guys, let's take a break right here.
Let me talk to this cop and see if I can get Alex up there and de-escalate the situation.
Bubble up, take a pause.
Right here, this way guys.
This way guys. | ||
Bro, no hand, nothing. | ||
I'm with Alex Jones, man.
I'm telling you right now, he just tried to de-escalate this stuff.
If we can talk to someone and get him up there, we can get them to back off.
Take him to the east front's a problem now.
This is the problem? The east front is a problem now.
Okay, so we need to get him up there to tell people to...
The east front's a problem now.
All right. Is there a way that we can get him to a position?
Through the hole you guys breached right there.
We didn't breach anything. Well, the whole group is with you guys.
We just showed up. The trucks had come down here.
We're trying to help. Up through there.
All they are up there, take them up there.
All right, let's go. Okay.
Alright, so we need somebody to run and coordinate that wrecking if that's where we're going.
I think we go talk to them and get him on these steps if we can.
You never know that. You don't know that.
There's a problem that they can't handle.
One DC cop just went down.
What? That's not good. One DC cop, they just had to carry him off, walk him off.
Alright, hold on. Let's go over here and regroup, Tim.
I want to talk to them. I want to talk to them and see if we can get you on these steps.
Or whatever. I don't think there's a problem now, sir.
I don't know. There might be a fight going on over there.
There's some shit. Tim, I'm going to talk to them real quick.
Can I talk to you? | ||
I'm with Alex Jones, man.
He's a big, big, like, populist movement guy.
He will de-escalate this situation, but we gotta put him somewhere to speak to them.
We just did it on that side to pull people off the scaffolds.
If not, the mob's the mob.
But I'm telling you, this entire crowd will listen to him.
It's a fact. So where can we take him and talk to the people so that this doesn't turn into something it doesn't need to be?
Who can we coordinate with?
We got tons of law enforcement with us.
Is there somebody we can speak to?
I get it. | ||
And we're trying to help, dude. And I'm telling you, you will see a miracle happen if it happens.
That guy right there with the vest?
I'm in front of the police.
He doesn't know. | ||
He doesn't know. | ||
Boss, I was told to speak to you.
I'm one of Alex Jones' security guards.
He can de-escalate this entire situation if you give him a little platform to speak to the crowd.
I promise you. I'm not authorized to do that.
I know. I don't want it to turn into something that's not.
I'm telling you, you can help. We've got tons of law enforcement in our team, man.
He wants to help. They will listen to him.
I'm not authorized to do that.
Okay, what do you recommend? I can call somebody higher up.
See what you can do. I promise you, he can make it happen.
He needs to be on three steps.
We don't want to be rebellious.
He can fix this. He can de-escalate the whole thing, I'm telling you.
I would try it for 30 seconds and you'll see.
If not, we'll bounce. I'm telling you it'll work, dude.
We're on your side. He can move this whole populace.
They all follow him. We do.
We do. I just want to put him in a place where they'll hear him and see him, and he'll tell everyone, we're not here to be violent.
Stop. You're letting the provocateurs turn this into some shit it don't need to be.
And it's only going to get worse.
We all know that. We're all on the same team.
So you gotta diffuse it before the other 100,000 people make it here.
Nah, it's not good dude.
That's not good. That's fucked.
That's fucked. No way. | ||
No fucking way no way I'm telling you man. We can stop this shit right now, dude
It's not going to be good.
Alright. I know. | ||
I know. He was talking to his hires to try to get him up here.
He didn't tell you. | ||
Well, they're gonna go to jail.
Alright, man. Slow and steady, dude!
Hands! We can get you a couple steps up if you need to.
Exactly. Let's see what happens.
Right here, they're telling them hold the line.
Guys, I don't know who's in charge.
We tried to get him a call. If we can get Alex up there, we can de-escalate this whole thing.
They all follow him. It'll all turn peaceful.
He just has to speak. I'm telling you, dude.
We're all on the same team.
This shit is not going to be good.
But I don't want to break the law.
I'm on your team. That doesn't make it okay.
We don't want anybody to get hurt in the process of getting up their ears.
We got all retired special ops guys, law enforcement.
We're not trying to be wrong.
So who do we talk to to make this happen the right way?
I think it looks too late. I think they're going to take the camera.
Well, we could de-escalate things.
They don't have enough numbers to do that.
I'm telling you right now. Yeah, I hear you.
I hear you. See? | ||
It's not going to be good, dude.
Now the crowd's gonna go crazy. It's not gonna be good.
This is not different. This is serious. This is way off the axis. I would not recommend it. I got you. Don't even try
to get me. I'm telling you that. What's up? You can't play that way.
Do what? I said go ahead and make your way that way, because they'll listen, you guys.
If you guys get a way to get him to speak to the crowd, I promise you, it's going to de-escalate it.
What we don't want is it spun.
Alex Jones takes Capitol fucking grounds.
That's not good, dude. I could probably get those people off there before they storm the whole Capitol.
I'd already talked to one.
He was talking to somebody, but...
If anybody can do it, he can do it.
Just get him up there? | ||
Hey, Tim. | ||
Just get him up there? | ||
If they let me up here, I'm probably not down.
They've already gone down.
But we know we might catch a bang or two.
We'll see. | ||
Ladies and gentlemen, fighting legal battles is not fun and it's not cheap.
Trust me, we know all about that here at Infowars.
And now, unfortunately, I have become a big political target of the New World Order and of the Democrat Party and of the mainstream media.
Now I'm just one in a group of many that they are targeting, but boy oh boy are they coming after me now, and so I need your financial assistance at DefendOwen.com.
I'm going to have to have lawyers working on this case all the time, unfortunately.
It's not going to be cheap, it's not going to be fun, but you can ease some of the stress, ease some of the financial burden.
By going to DefendOwen.com if you're able to financially support.
Of course, your words of support mean everything.
Your prayers are paramount.
But DefendOwen.com for financial support so that I can be sure that I have the best legal team for this defense, which is going to be key for free speech and for the truth and to keep me on air. |
