| Your response. Well, we just saw the, I believe, the sheriff, the mayor, the authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina, come out and say that, yes, protesting, lawful, peaceful protest of your government, seeking an address of grievances, is not, in fact, considered essential activity. | ||

| And if you can't see how dangerous this is to our freedom, ladies and gentlemen, then... | ||

| I noticed the trend of protests to reopen the government in Michigan and other places. | ||
| People coming out with signs, going to the state capitol, governor's mansions, etc. | ||
| And I said, okay... I've already kind of done my soft protest, if you will, going out with the crew, filming. | ||
| I got harassed by police that one day, filming homeless people. | ||
| They assaulted me. So I've kind of done my soft one-man media crew type of feeler protest. | ||
| But after having my nightcap and consuming seeing all the other protests, I said, okay, now's the time. | ||
| And so I announced today on the Alex Jones Show, this Saturday at the Texas State Capitol in downtown Austin, Texas, from noon to two, I am hosting the You Can't Close America rally. | ||
| Now, the whole notion of hashtag Reopen America, I didn't want to go along with that because you can't close America to begin with. | ||
| So admitting that they've closed it to begin with is like taking the L. I refuse to take that L. So I'm saying you can't close America. | ||
| America was never closed. This is all by fiat. | ||
| This is all fear-driven. | ||
| It's not legitimate. Now, in Austin and Texas, they've said you can't go out in public without a mask. | ||
| Well, if I did have a mask, if you wear a mask, you can try to tell me to wear a mask. | ||
| You can take off that mask and kiss my ass, because that's not happening. | ||
| So I'm hosting this Saturday... | ||
| From noon to two at the Texas State Capitol, you can't close America rally. | ||
| There's already another one outside the governor's mansion, which is catty corner to the Capitol this Thursday at noon. | ||

| So, Tom, what is your response to the protests, the arrest in North Carolina, and me now announcing that I'll be hosting a rally here in Austin in defiance of this illegal government tyranny? | ||
| Well, first of all, I think that's the first thing that needs to happen. | ||
| We need to go and tell the government this is not the new normal. | ||
| That's the big thing that the left is trying to push, and these insane globalists who want more and more control, this is the new normal. | ||

| It created global warming. | ||

| The dolphins are swimming in Venice. | ||
| Now, second of all, I really love what you said about China because the fact is, well, all the way back in the 1970s and 80s, we opened up China. | ||
| And the idea was that we were going to export our democracy, our republic, our free market system, the ideas of entrepreneurship, the ideas of free capital. | ||
| And it was all going to overwhelm China. | ||
| And before you knew it, they'd be reading Locke and Hobbes and Rothbard, and they would just be a libertarian capitalist paradise. | ||
| And oh, and as we all know, instead, the exact opposite China has exported their communism to the United States of America. | ||
| And now we sit here in the United States doing a show while patriots are out on the streets attempting to exercise their First Amendment right. | ||
| And in true communist Chinese fashion, they have exported their system and people are being hauled away to disgusting jails where God knows what diseases await them, just like in communist China for the crime of expressing their beliefs. | ||

| This could not have gone more wrong. | ||
| We were supposed to make China a bright shining example of freedom and democracy, and instead China has turned us into a totalitarian hell hole. | ||

| So when I'm very critical of all this is happening, I want to be clear this is not aimed at President Trump. | ||
| He's our last hope in office, and I think he does have all the cards under the table. | ||
| The question is, does he have the will I mean, he has the means, but maybe he questions if he has the means to actually turn this table back over and get things going back in the right direction economically, geopolitically, and his entire agenda. | ||
| But, you know, I also want to be clear as well. | ||
| I am a free, sovereign citizen, and that's... | ||
| I don't look at Donald Trump to be my savior, and I don't look to Donald Trump to answer all of my life's problems. | ||
| I look at Donald Trump as a leader, as a figurehead, and the last hope we've had is an American president, and I stand by that to this day. | ||
| The reason why I point this out, though, I am a man of my word, Tom. | ||
| I think you've known me long enough to know that I'm a man of my word. | ||
| And so, when I mentioned that I would do this a couple weeks ago, there was a story written by Jared Holt, who I would consider a friend. | ||
| Maybe if we could all get along, more fair pieces would be written about one another, but I digress. | ||
| And he wrote this piece last week. | ||
| He says, Infowars host threatens to mobilize audience to defy COVID-19 social distancing orders. | ||
| That was last week. I said it on the 7th or 8th. | ||
| This was published on the 8th. I believe I said it on the 7th. | ||
| This was published on the 8th. Well, yeah, I'm standing by that. | ||
| And that's not a threat. | ||
| That's America saying we're not dead yet. | ||
| And so I completely stand by that and now today announced that I'm going to have a You Can't Close America rally. | ||
| Now, again, though, the reason why I'm saying this is because, and I told Jared to correct this, But the way it's posed is that I'm aiming this at Trump like I'm in defiance of Trump. | ||
| No, this is not in defiance of Trump. | ||
| This is in defiance of government tyranny. | ||
| Trump may be at the helm right now and his fate will be his fate. | ||
| We'll decide that when the door's shut on his history. | ||
| But right now, all local governments are enforcing this. | ||
| They're telling me that I have to wear a mask in public? | ||
| Take your mask off and kiss my ass. | ||
| It's not happening. And so this is what's going on. | ||

| America needs to legally, lawfully, peacefully protest and say you can't shut us down. | ||

| The left is telling us now more than ever, don't trust Trump, trust Fauci. | ||
| Mad Maxine Waters actually tweeted that out just a week or so ago, saying, don't trust the president, trust this doctor, this deep state doctor who's been doing this job for 30 or 40 years. | ||
| He's the guy who really knows what's going on. | ||
| So they're right on their face telling us how this is going to go down, and I really do believe that if the president knows we're behind him, once he sees the news about what's happening in North Carolina, once he sees the news about what's going to happen in Austin, he's going to understand this country is not going to be quote-unquote shut down forever, and I agree with you. I don't think it is shut down. | ||

| I go to the store, people are working, and everybody else is sitting at home thinking, damn, I wish I could go to work right now, but we're just not allowed to. | ||
